Adaine making peace with Aelwyn (who she hated at the start of the series), convincing her to betray their abusive father and then preceding to kill said father (who never believed in or loved her) in one hit by physically punching him in the face (aided by a extremely powerful spell that was handcrafted and named for her by an extremely powerful wizard who does believe in and love her (they’re best friends)) and then saving her sister’s life because she loves her and knows that Aelwyn was just a much a victim as her and wants to have a relationship with her outside of the control of their absolute piece of shit parents is simply one of the best arcs. Ever.
