judas baby! first time ive been able to draw them w/ lazarus and gabriel and be satisfied w/ it. judas is the youngest out of the three (14) and still doesnt much like the taste of blood so any time fae need it ezekiel (faer mom) mixes it in w/ some cranberry juice to make it go down easier. judas has been the fussiest out of ezekiel's kids to get used to drinking blood also and isnt very good at being a nightmare yet bc they favor mischief over fear.

oh nice, you probably have a good idea what it's like then. sometimes i feel bad for the people just getting into overnight work because you really don't know what it's like until you're on shift. anyways, you probably know this stuff already but the best advice i can give is that, like, sometimes you're going to have to force yourself to go outside and touch grass. not in the tumblr way, but in the "i accidentally haven't seen the sun in 3 days and now my brain is melting" kind of way. basically, even if you think you don't need it, you need to see the light of day every few days or your brain turns to soup. and if your brain starts to feel like it's on fire, it's probably time to go sit in the sun for a few hours.

some other things i've noticed/tips: overnight work can get really boring, so i started playing a bunch of games that scratch my brain but are short. i think idol games are probably good for this but i personally took up word games, crosswords, and solitaire. it also helps me to keep a list of things to do when i get bored out of my mind on shift. loneliness is also a really big problem for overnight workers, so i recommend finding something in your off time where you're seeing people face to face. i volunteer, but sometimes i just wander around main st of my town so i can see people in real life, even if i don't talk to them. i've found that a lot of little things like that help, even if i don't think they will.

i also want to say that balancing time can be a nightmare in a way that day shift workers don't understand. having all of your 'personal time' before work can actually really suck, so please make sure to build in at least an hour of downtime before you go to bed after shift. going to bed directly after work sucks in so many ways. people are also gonna be shitty about it, particular people you make appointments with or talk to on the phone. i had to record a very blunt phone message saying not to call me before 1 pm because my family was giving me so much shit about not being up in the mornings. it was a little rudely worded, but it worked. i recommend just being firm with anyone who tries to say anything (ie "I won't be there, it's before my wake up time, that's final")

that's all i got for now (actually about to get off of my shift rn l o l) but i really wish you the best of luck. i think of you as a friend even though we don't talk much and i hope this works for you. i hope you're able to get this job if you want it and i hope working overnights works out for you if that's what you'd like to do. OH YEAH FOR SURE, i had a bit of whiplash when i first started even tho ive always been the kind of person that stays up til the sun is up lol. and my husband was the same (it was even worse for them bc they used to be more of a morning person before starting overnight and literally went from working 6:30am-6:30pm to doing the opposite)

YEP i struggle w this anyway and my husband drags me places so i can get out. my husband themself goes on hikes w our dog sometimes, i dont rlly think i could manage that bc walking hard but maybe if i brought my cane and we found some short trails :) but even just like. going to the store while its still light out would probably work (even though thats near impossible this time of year. love winter but why do they turn off the lights so early)

oh yeah, when i worked overnight i was usually like, playin lil puzzle games and stuff, or reading. i got a LOT of reading done back then. this job is kind of a cleaning job from what i can tell so i might not have time for that kind of stuff, but who knows, ill probably have some downtime. it also sounds like ill have coworkers but i def felt the loneliness when i was at the gas station. luckily my brother was enough and im sure my husband will be, and i know ill at the very least have a supervisor (my husband is lucky they have lots of coworkers, many of wish they consider friends on their shift lol)

yeah, hubby sometimes goes to bed right after if theyre like. on their 3rd shift in a row, but they usually make time to chat. i usually would stay up and scroll tumblr for a bit after work, i can't sleep right after work either unless im just TIRED tired.

OH DONT GET ME STARTED ON PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTANDING YOURE NOT AVAILABLE DURING THE DAY i think my PARENTS would at least know because theyre used to it from me working overnight a year+ when i lived there, and my brother doing overnight work as well, but like. in general my husband has such a hard time getting people, their parents included, to understand "hey i am not available during the day" (but since when did my in laws understand a fuckin thing in the world)

THE LAKE HOUSE // basically, the lake house except nobody is a ghost and everyone is from the same year <3 muse a is an architect who has been living in The House they built. for reasons utp, they are forced to sell it. muse b is the buyer. muse a can’t let go of the house so even though the title has been transferred to muse b, they keep making excuses to visit The House.

LIGHT SLEEPER // muse a is a former drug addict whose job is delivering drugs to high-profile clients. muse b is their ex and also a former drug addict, with whom their relationship fell out bc of the drug abuse. they coincidentally meet again in a hospital when muse a visits a regular client of their boss who OD’d and muse b’s mother is in for chemo/other intense procedures. muse a and muse b reconnect. they both confess that they are now clean and sober. muse b doesn’t believe muse a since muse a admits that they still work for their old boss, but muse a insists that they haven’t used in years. muse b, on the other hand, is a successful business person who’s really cleaned up their act and is nothing like the person muse a knew before (i.e. a Mess TM). despite the feelings that they hold towards muse b, muse a knows that they should keep their distance since they are the reason that muse b started using in the first place and they wouldn’t want to throw any progress away. HOWEVER, fate seems to keep bringing them together in the most inconvenient places and when they least expect it the most; they allow themselves to indulge in old habits (sex, not drugs) even tho they know they’re totally bad for each other. just when they’re starting to become regular fixtures in each other’s lives again, muse b disappears for weeks on end. as it turns out, they were the one who was never clean and sober to begin with.

PHANTOM THREAD // muse a is a highly-renowned fashion designer / artist / photographer who meets muse b and decides that they want them to be their muse (after already having had a string of former muses). being invisible all their life, muse b accepts this new role— however, to muse a’s dismay, they are nothing like any muse they’ve had before in that instead of having their muse wrapped around their finger, muse b has them wrapped around theirs. great for exploring shifting power dynamics!

GRAY MATTERS // (originally a familial and queer relationship but hey whatever floats your boat) muse a and muse b are siblings (or best friends could work, too). muse a gets engaged to muse c and muse b is their maid-of-honor / best man. because muse c and muse b are the two most important people in muse a’s lives, muse a makes them spend the week before the wedding together bUT OOPS muse b realizes that they have feelings for muse c and they share a drunken kiss which muse c instantly forgets about in the morning??? which is #awkward because 1) MUSE C IS MUSE A’S SPOUSE-TO-BE and 2) MUSE B NEVER REALIZED THAT THEY’RE NOT STRAIGHT. so now they’re trying to deal with coming to terms with this newfound attraction that never thought they could have with the same sex on top of trying to decide whether or not to remind muse c of what they did that one night (since they seem to have zERO recollection) and come clean to their sibling / best friend.

LONG SHOT // muse a works for muse b, who is a very powerful exec / influential artist / whatever. muse a is very much infatuated by muse b, who thinks that they are way out of muse a’s league. muse a reveals that muse b used to come over to muse a’s house to babysit them (because lbr, even tho the the age gap might not be that much, a 14 yr-old will be paid to watch over a 10 yr old). what happens from there?

VELVET BUZZSAW // muse a and muse b are rival art curators / music producers who claim that they are the ones who have rightfully ‘discovered’ muse c. muse a and muse b then go through great lengths to try and win muse c to sign over to them. muse c has no plans of defecting to either sides but decide to string them along for the perks (and for the attention). great for exploring a kooky triad of frenemies or a polyship.

PORTRAIT OF A LADY ON FIRE // muse a is a painter / filmmaker / photographer who is tasked with relaunching muse b’s career. muse a thinks that muse b is a brat. muse b thinks that muse a is full of themself. 

I’M HUNGRY, I’M COLD // you might wanna try and watch it here first, it’s v short! muse a and muse b are best friends who’ve been on the lam for a long time (for reasons utp) and are now broke bc they blew up all their funds on life’s little pleasures. maybe they start conning people? maybe they try to get a dozen dead-end jobs at once that they suck at so they keep going back to square one? either way, they must decide whether or not they should finally face the music and go home. or maybe they just need to find the means (and a reason) to stay in their current town, and fast. 

BABETTE’S FEAST // muse a is formerly the head chef of a michelin-star awarded restaurant who is now working as something else. muse b had one unforgettable (for sentimental purposes, reasons utp) meal in said restaurant which, unbeknownst to them, was cooked by muse a. the two meet in the current setting, several years later, and become friends / lovers / etc, with muse b sparking muse a’s interest in cooking once again. muse a cooks The Meal™️ for muse b, not knowing what it means to them, and muse b finally recognizes who muse a is as they are flooded by memories of that night they first tasted the dish.

CIGARETTES & COFFEE // muse a and muse b are newlyweds who are in town for their honeymoon. however, things go awry on day 1 when muse a blows it all on some stupid, petty thing (in the original, they blew it on a game of craps in a casino when they’ve neVER played craps before and muse b is fuckin LIVID it’s just hilarious and sad) and their relationship is immediately put to the test when they have to figure out how to scrape money to get home (but also maybe kind of fall in love with the place??? and decide to start their family there??? idk) 

SUCCESSION (this is a tv show but this particular dynamic is just too damn good not to include) with a little bit of THE PANIC IN  NEEDLE PARK // muse a and muse b come from rivaling families (for whatever business, but they gotta be high profile). they meet while theyre trying to be lowkey doing ~~normal people stuff and instantly click despite their families’ tumultuous history, but have to keep their relationship (platonic or otherwise) away from the public eye to avoid raising suspicion from the critics. they think they can help each other’s recoveries by being in each other’s company but all they do is enable each other, further destroying not only their lives, but their families’ reputations as well.

Ty~ Hope I did okay and the anxiety triggers aren’t too specific.

Lucifer He notices whenever he and MC are walking together, if MC is walking in front, they will keep looking behind themself every few seconds. Lucifer jokes that he's not going to get lost but MC just shakes their head. Usually they move to the side and slow until he's beside them, then match his stride or end up walking behind him. After a while Lucifer asks MC about their strange habit. The tell him they have anxiety and when someone is behind them it makes them anxious. Lucifer can sympathize and tells them that it takes a lot of trust to be in such a vulnerable position and he doesn't like having his back to anyone either. He and MC begin walking side by side more often, and when that was not possible, Lucifer would take the lead.

Mammon Mammon sees MC with their head in their hands and papers scattered all around them on the table. He noticed there were a bunch of numbers that he soon recognized as MC trying to budget. He asked them what's wrong and they tell him they forgot about some grim they owed and had already spend their spare grim they had after paying various bills. They started to cry and hyperventilate and Mammon panicked for a moment not knowing what to do. He ran to get them some cold water and rubbed their back until their breathing was back under control. Mammon asks what happened and they explained they had an anxiety attack because money issues stress them out and make their anxiety spike. Mammon offered to help them budget, he's the avatar of of greed after all! He knew all about making a little grim go a long way. He even offered to lend them money but MC refused, not wanting to be in debt to anyone else. Mammon assured them he knew that feeling, but in his head he was thinking of inconspicuous ways to slip the extra grim.

Levi He thought by the way MC acted whenever they came to hang out, like they were uncomfortable being around him. And the panicked look on their face when they first step into his room, the way their eyes dart to each corner. One day they started to come in but suddenly turned paler than him and did a 180 and walked back out into the hall. When Levi demanded an explanation, thinking that they finally decided that hanging out with a gross shut-in like him was disgusting and a waste of time. They told him that rooms that are super messy make their anxiety act up, and told him they'd been trying to get used to it and making themself just deal with it because they didn't want to seem rude and ask him to clean up. But when they saw the state of his room that day, they told him they started panicking and had to get away. Levi is surprised and relieved that they didn’t hate him, but also embarrassed for letting his room get so trashed, but he'd been on a roll with reviewing various games and anime and hadn't really taken the time to clean up after himself. He told them to wait a little bit and he would clean his room so they could feel comfortable and hang out. And from then on he would make a point to pick up his room once a day or every other day.

Satan He and MC were out to lunch and when their orders arrived, MC was given the wrong thing, something they couldn't eat as a human. Satan noticed them not eating and asked what was wrong. They explained but said it was fine, they'd just eat later. Satan told them to say something to the waiter, but MC shook their head and told them they didn't want to bother anyone. Satan noticed they looked tense and wouldn't meet his eyes. Satan told MC it was part of the waiter's job and he would say something the next time he passed by. MC got a panicked look on their face and practically begged him to just leave it. Satan asked them why they were so upset and MC told him the waiter might get mad and try to argue with them, and confrontation made them anxious. Satan found this ironic given that, being the avatar of wrath, confrontation was second nature to him. In a soft tone, he assured them that the waiter wouldn't get mad and would probably be thankful that he was informed. He assured them that they didn't need to feel bad or apologize for speaking up for themself, or asked to be accommodated. Satan makes a mental note to try and work with MC to overcome their anxiety, or at least be slightly more comfortable with possibly confrontational situations.

Asmo Somehow Asmo had convinced MC to come to The Fall club with him.....well...more of dragged them despite their protests. But there was a once in a millenia party going on and he wanted to share it with his favorite human. When they got there, he noticed MC would try to stay against the wall, or in secluded corners. When he found them in one of the corners, he joked that if they wanted to be alone with him he'd be happy to oblige.....after they partied a little. He dragged them to the middle of the dance floor and tried to get them to dance with him but they stood ridged, eyes wide, and face drained of all color. He was about to ask what was wrong before they bolted. He followed after and saw them rush into the bathroom. When he got there, he could hear MC getting sick and slipped inside to see MC's shoes in a stall. It was open and they started trying to apologize but ended up heaving into the toilet again. Asmo tried to comfort them, holding their hair back away from their face, or rubbing their back. After they stopped heaving, he led them to the sink where they rinsed out their mouth. He asked what happened and they explained being in really crowded places made their anxiety go through the roof and they almost threw up right on the dance floor because their anxiety hit them so hard. Asmo is bummed but decides to take them home, he'll make sure they're okay and fast asleep before he heads back out to club.

Beel He noticed MC was on edge but couldn't figure out why. He came in after dinner to help them clean the kitchen, but as soon as they started washing dishes he noticed they became tense and would look over at him every few minutes, practically glaring at him. He finished wiping everything down so he leaned against the counter and watched them. After a few minutes they threw the plate they were washing back into the water and stormed out of the kitchen without a word. Confused he followed them, and when he caught up to them he asked what was wrong. They explained having someone else in the kitchen while they were cleaning set them on edge and made them anxious, they hated it, especially if they were being watched. Beel apologized and said he hadn't known and from then on whenever someone would offer to help MC with kitchen clean up, he would shake his head and tell them not to bug MC, they could handle things themself.

Belphie He couldn't understand why MC was freaking out so much. The were literally crying their eyes out and when he looked to see what had upset them so much, all he saw were sheets of math problems. He asked what their problem was and they just shook their head and touched their throat. He grabbed his ddd, typed "tell me", then handed them the phone. Their hands shook as they typed in that they'd been trying to figure out how to do this specific section of math problems but didn't understand it at all and they had a test on it coming up. They handed the phone back and he nodded, then pulled them towards the bed and told them a nap solved all problems. They tried to resist but he told them firmly that they were overthinking things and needed a break. Later when they had calmed down they explained that certain levels of math gave them severe anxiety, sometimes bad enough to have a meltdown like earlier. He couldn't say he understood the logic of it, though he also didn't really care about his grades, but he asked if they wanted him to try and help. They told him they would appreciate it and tried to get up but he just held them tighter and told them after a long nap.

My freaking opinion on the sign

Hoy hoy hoy ! I’m here simply because i read a lot about astrology and i wanted to gave my opinion too (nothing stop me after all). Since i’m a bitch for astrology (and simply a bitch), i take a good care to ask almost all my friend about their natal chart so i could just read about them, having information to see if it was accurate to they behavior.

 SO this is what i feel for each sign

Aries : Pain in the ass because of they behavior. They always tend to say they are right, and thus need to go straight into the wall to finally admit they were wrong. Don’t get me bad, they are pretty inteligent, but it’s seems like they do not know how to learn from they mistake them made except if you point them out for them. I know an Aries that is pretty toxic, as much as i know one that is a good person. And let me tell you, they have enought energy to defend you, or to drown you. Pretty coleric. I don’t get along with Aries anyway.

Taurus : Same as Aries. I know some, and let me tell you that they are kind of annoying. Indecisive about change, don’t know what they want, they seems completely lost when you change their routine. Then cling to every person when they can. Some are also very stuborn (to throw themself out the windows -true story i know from a taurus-), but they are also down to earth a LOT. The taurus i knew were nice, but also problematic, it’s all cold or hot. And also, they are very bad at communication ; like.... A lot. They also tend to answer you everyday for a week before disapear for months. Otherwise, they are open-minded and simple. One of the few very nice person i knew were a Taurus.

Gemini : I can’t, and belive me I know someone close to me as a Gemini. And i can’t. Don’t know what they want, but act like they know what they want. Always changing they way of life, but always doubting too. Always playing hot and cold. *rolling eyes and do the mind blowing action*

Cancer : Harsh with you. They supposed to be turn to familly, but not in the fluffy way. They will act hard on you if they think you need to become tougher (because life’s a bitch). They will act the way they think it’s good for you, and will never feel bad for it. A cancer is also very rensentful. But a good person in the end. I’ve never being in an argue with a cancer.

Lion : Remember when i said i couldn’t stand a Aries ? *stare in the camera like in the office* Well, same way goes to Lion. They are too needy of validation and resentful. Worst than cancer while they can’t admit they are wrong. To the point to get themself in danger, or in a bad state of they life, to be right. They’d prefer to continu through the path they made than go back and follow you. Do i smeel wrong placed ego AND pride ? Yes. They need to be better than you, shine as much, if it’s not more, than you.

Ok, maybe I spit too much tea. And I know all lion aren’t that bad. I knew one that were just doing his life and looking for pride in his work and were doing well. They just needed the light, but would be happy to help your voice get heard. But from the two with who i were close, the friendship were pretty toxic.

Libra : I don’t know much about them. I knew a guy who were Libra and i knew it before he said his birthday. He was taking care of him, his image, showing himself. I mean, like every libra. Kinda narcisic tho.

Scorpio : I don’t know if life wanted to show me each side of almost each sign, but with scorpio it also the same. All black or white. While i know a scorpio that is very helpful, loyal, nice and -oh my- they know what they stand for (and you don’t want them to fight against you belive me). While they other way around is just so vicious and horrible. Manipulating and turning people around against you. If a scorpio don't like you, they gonna made it understandable but act like nothing happening ; the only two of you will know what is it about. Also, they throw spike at you, pushing where it hurt. The bad side of a scorpio manipulate a lot, be carefull. But if it happen to be the good side of a Scorpio, never loose they trust ; first it’s pretty difficult to win it, but if you get it you will have a strong allie with you.

Sagittarius : Well... All i know about sagittarius is that they are cliché on one point : from the sagittarian (and placement of them i know can affect the behavior) they all want to travel. From saying they want, to got straight living for months in another country, to planned a trip a month before going to, they love traveling. Otherwise i didn’t read enought about them to see the characterial behavior of a sagittarian and see if it’s accurate to their sign y’know ? 

Aquarius : Either a lovely af or so hard to handle. For a part of my life i was around FOUR aquarius at the same time. Can you imagine how much it’s to handle four aquarius ? *see flash of the war*

Well... maybe i’m over reacting,BUT i can tell you i could see that they were aquarius. So curious, but mastered they hobby (if not, then they were trying to). So much energy. Always needed to be in a new project, trying new things. If it’s your friends, be honnest, in one of the side of an Aquarian, they can smell bullshit. Or... not at all. It’s all or nothing with the sign ; wich isn’t a bad things for them since that mean they know what they want... But they mind turn around quickly because of boredom if it don't go fast enough. And also, they love weird shit and supernatural things. They are all original in they own way that so fucking true. And be careful, if you go against them, saying they are wrong, you gonna hear about that. They hate it, it directly go against they ego. AND ALSO THEY ARE BAD AT HUMAN. But we love them so much for their weirdness (and they hidden soft side).

Piscies : Must be protected, or no. They are thougher than you thought, but keep so much inside. They are emotional, that true. And nice. But don't break they trust. They are pretty sensitive in both good and bad way. But they are always here for they friend, and always here to listen to you. Maybe they tend to get your problem on their shoulder (it’s a characteristic of a piscies), and they also get involved in your story a lot. But it’s they sensitive way, and the fact they love they friends a lot. They also often have their head in clouds

Capricorn : Pretty hard to live with BELIVE ME. A capricorn is always so secretive and it’s hard to understand them. They hardwork a lot, or like to stick on a project. They love to learn. And are very stubborn (it's pretty competitive between an aries and capricorn to know who will be the best). They also are pretty weird (cf :Norman reedus is a capricorn). A capricorn while be bad at human too, it's pretty difficult to handle emotion. If you ask for advice, they will help you act for you situation to go better because they have a hard time to deal with human emotion. They also can be feel as cold and detached. They are the type to bring work at home and work at home and forget their life and Hobbie. They are also weird, but not in the cute way (like aquarius),, more like wEiRd and sometimes cringy,, They also like quality things, and rather have quality over quantity. Virgo : (editing cause, shit, I forgot virgo sorry) Virgo is a pretty difficult type to live with. First of all, they are maniac with cleaning (the one I live with is uncontrollable about that). They act strictly firm and thought... Or... The other way around. But they are straight in their boot and like disciple. They are perfectionist too, and hard worker (not as much as a capricorn, they like to keep they life split in two between hobby and work), still they are the type to sometimes bring work at home, but they're are very organized about it. If they can't keep things organized, they might choose a job they can be completely separated from they life. And if they want something, they will fucking work that out (they might be pretty good layer if they want to). They are also down to earth. Emotionally : virgo are lost, all of nothing and a little bit stubborn (they will listen to you and applying what they think you said was right in your back. 🌷 In what ways would your OC alter their body if they could? How would they do it using mundane means (hair dye, surgery, make-up?). What is their ideal look for themself?

Thanks to the nature and fat amount of money in her pre-war life she couldn’t complain much about that part, which is she never considered anything in her body or look disturbing or unpleasing to make her want to change it. She is fairly slim and doesn’t have very feminine shapes, she is more like a model figure type just not tall (she is 5'3 - 160cm...lol she is smaller than Hector by 6 cm’s) and sometimes it might bring down her confidence when being intimate but initially she wouldn’t change anything because the way she is benefits her so far in terms of body shape and she is okay with herself. Although if she could permanently dye some black lines around her eyes or go black all around them as she has it, she wouldn’t mind it because without it she feels her face looks just very soft and delicate, not suited for raider life and scaring anyone when talking to them, considering also her size neither very intimidating and it does take her a while to apply it everyday (she is carrying a jar of carbon black pigment with her). But then again needle going around the eyes especially in wasteland which might be a bit dirty...and dull isn’t the best idea and one eyeless raider is enough. All in all she is okay the way she is and any changes wouldn’t be probably worth the hassle.

10 years huh? How about 200? :)) She wasn’t that long in wasteland so i will go with pre-war here.  Anyway, back then Lucy was certainly more irresponsible and impulsive in her actions, her pre-war boss would lose his nerves around her quite a lot. She is better in post-apocalyptic life because she doesn’t have to deal with the law enforcement and police anymore for doing what she is doing which is stealing, killing on order and eventually becoming the Overboss, there is only minutemen and people who doesn’t agree with her and the gang actions but its not like they will put them into jail anymore or so. Freedom paradise for villains. Even if she became just more happy and relaxed in that crooked life of hers one thing didn’t change even after all these years tho. She still depends on advice and directives from others like Gage or Nuka World Bosses as to what actions take in Commonwealth and overall for her people in Nuka World. She eventually learned to have more faith in taking her own steps, becoming more confident that her decisions are right (for the raiders). She is more skilled with fighting, more confident and finally thinks before going into action. She didn’t really age much but the radiation, constant travelling through dusty terrains and conditions reflected onto her face. If she washes away her make up you would see a very delicate tired young woman with quite a dark eyebags and wrinkles here and there. She is 27 so she isn’t aging that visibly yet and holds the habit of taking care of herself with what she can find as her looks need to stay sharp to charm and fool folks around. If she would meet herself back then she would probably just say “Stop, wait, think about it and shut up”. Just don’t be so impulsive girl, it won’t always save your skin neither bring good outcome in the end.

Leeches and being left alone with no tasks at hand. Leeches and bloodworms and overall crawling slimey creatures crawl a paralyzing fear upon her spine because in the pre-war when she worked at the court as a lawyer she stood up for an ex-criminal and the institution back then was corrupted as hell. They didn’t like her actions so they kidnaped her in a bright daylight from office and tortured her to convince her to better not work against their efforts. In the end of their lesson they brought a bucket filled with leeches and “cleaned” her mouth. From the article i read about the leeches if one would attach to your tongue you wouldn’t be even able to take it away till it finishes its job or you will rip your skin and so on and also the blood clotting process is slowed down after so yeah. That experience was just so disgusting for her and left her coughing blood and swallowing small amounts of it days after. It was a breaking point for her back then that turned her away from justice and left that memory deep inside. Usually she doses herself with calmex to better focus on the fight rather than phobia but if she forgets to take she will fight very chaotically and with complete lack of confidence, mostly losing consciousness from big amount of stress shortly after. Gladly Gage knows about it as he found out in their adventure in Dry Rock Gulch. She faces her fear there with no support of her drug and fails that fight in front of his eyes so she has no choice but to tell him. He understands the problem and tries later on to help her overcome it. 

As for lacking a task at hand as i mentioned she is highly dependable person and is scared of boredom. She was always used to be occupied by running a jobs for her boss pre-war and just becomes shaky and nervous when lacking a thing to do, like an addict without his drug around. And if you mix boredom with a woman who is born killer and add a ghost of her pre-war boss whispering shit to her ear you can expect troubles coming around her. Its just not safe and she knows it.

City of Light, City of Night… (pt 5)

When Liv gets up the next morning, and leaves for work she finds a note fastened to her door. It is from Arthur, suggesting they meet infront of the building at 7 that evening. It is a very short and concise note. She tucks it in her purse. It makes her happy that he seem to be just as interested as her into getting to know eachother. It would be nice to have a friend here. She haven’t had any since the early school days, then everything became so difficult, and in the end it was easier to just not bother with it.

The day moves so slow. She is working at a café, and might have lied a little about her experience in similiar jobs. She was lucky, and the owner let her have the job - even without having any papers to show for her. She gave him Martins phonenumber for references, he will recommend her for anything anyone will ask about. He is the only one from back home that know where she is. And the only one she trust, but she still keep the contact to a minimum. The clock seem to have stopped. Every second takes a minute, and every minute takes an hour. She is waiting tables, as she smiles. She cleans the tables, as she smiles. She think about the evening to come, and smiles. Finally the day is over and she can leave.

Back home she rushes up to her appartment. Well, as fast as she can rush the 10 floors. She takes a quick shower. Wraps herself in a towel and change her mind about what to wear for the 50th time or so. It is just a cup of coffee, she tells her self. It is not like he invited me on a date. She ends with a light green summer dress, and a cardigan. Low heels, because after walking and standing almost all day at work she don’t think she can move far in anything else. Looking good has never been a priority, and and this moment she wish she had paid more attention to other people, their hair and make-up. She decide on the usual braid for her hair. Some mascara and lipstick will have to do - after all, that is the only things she have.

At 6:45 she walks out in the the main hall. Arthur is allready there. He looks stunning! He is wearing a green suit, with a west and tie, and a dark blue shirt. The colours are vibrant, and looks great on him. His dark hair is pulled back from his face, making him look younger. He hastily walks towards her and greet her smiling. - Hi. There is a nice coffe shop - confectionery not too far from here. It is a bit more fancy than the cafè we went to last time, if you would like to try it? She smiles back. - That sounds lovely. - There was nothing wrong with the café we visited, but I thought it would be fun to try something nicer. They have a broad variety of cakes and confectionaries, tea, coffee, hot chocolate... - I absolutely agree, she says. Besides, you are definitely dressed for a fancier place than that dark café. You are looking so handsome today. He suddenly looks shy. - Did I overdo it? - No, no. You are looking really good. I mean it. - So are you. He chews on his lower lip, and she gets the impression that both giving and receiving compliments are rare for him. - Shall we go then? - You lead the way, she says and put her hand on his arm.

As they walk down the street, they fumbles their way trough the beginning of a conversation. Trivialities like weather and work. The summer evening is warm and humid, and there is againg looking to be rain and thunder later.

The coffee shop is really nice. The interior is dark here, also. It is made to look old fashioned with dark brown wood, and the fabrics are held in dusty pink in diffrent shades - but there is so much glass, and brass and light. There are several display counters with cakes, and confectioneries. The place smells of coffee, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, and everything sweet. They walk along the counters and she wonder how she will possibly be able to make up her mind. - Do you see anything you’d like? He ask. - All of it... She giggles. - What a marvelous place. - I’m in no hurry. He laughs back. - We can sit here all evening if you like. And they do.

After they decide on what to order, he leads them to a table for two. Again the start of their talk is a little slow, mainly sharing thoughts about the placeand the overflowing counters. After a while they get more personal again. This is such a unusal situation for her - learning to know someone, trying to make friends. It just feels important to let you know who I am, and what I am and, and... I am not dangerous, he adds, not to myself or anyone else. She nods. - I am not scared of you. He continue to tell her about the city. She have spent her days at work, then at home. The shopping she have done has been at the nearest grocery store. So he offers to show her around some day. She is flattered - he has suggested two more meetings allready. It is only the two of them left in the coffee shop now. The staff is cleaning off tables and getting ready to close for the night. They walk slowly down the streets on their way back to the appartments. And they walk close to eachother. Myriad: Demons are infertile unless paired with an angel, so they don’t have any children, but it’s probably a good thing in this case bc if Myriad’s wasn’t infertile, they’d have a thousand kids lmao. They honestly haven’t ever thought about kids, and they’ve never been bothered with the idea of having them. They’re actually great with kids and like them a lot, they’re like the coolest uncle ever, but they’d probably not be the best parent. They’d be more like the kid’s friend than their parental figure, and they don’t like staying in one place for long and they wouldn’t abandon their lifestyle so they’d either lug the kid around with them constantly or just leave them with their other parent for a few years before coming back… so yeah, not the best parent.

August: He’s thought about kids occasionally, but he’s never had any drive, not to mention it’s forbidden. If his partner really wanted kids, he’d probably agree to adopt, because he can never turn down anything somebody he loves wants. He would…….. really try to be a good parent. Myriad: Yes, yes, holy hell yes. Their job is tracking down and punishing/murdering/reaping evil souls after torturing them for the longest amount of time possible. Yes, they’ve had to defend themself. They know killing people is wrong but since they make sure never to harm innocents, when they do kill it never bothers them, they never hesitate, they never show mercy, and they never regret.

August: Yes, she has killed before, she never takes any pleasure in it and will only ever use it as a last resort. As all other angels (and demons) have, she’s had to reap human souls at some point or another. It doesn’t upset her to any extreme level. It’s always been in self defence. She has seen a lot of people, including her own partners, die over her long life.

June: Um, yes, yes, frequently. They have a short temper and if somebody is being a huge dickwad they will 110% rip the aforementioned dickwad’s face off their skull. They couldn’t give less of a fuck and have 0 regret.

Dante: Yep. He’s killed people in multiple wars over the years, he’s killed people in bar fights and back alley brawls and underground fight clubs and duels to the death. Guns, knives, broken beer bottles, and most frequently, his bare hands. As laid-back and generally kind as he is, he’s got a very violent nature, and if somebody is being an aggressive/violent asshole, he can and will happily take care of them. Particularly if that asshole was harassing somebody else, Dante will never let that shit slide. He takes every opportunity to fight.

Jesse: No, never. He has been the catalyst for people dying, tho, like one time a racist fuck decided to take a swing at him and Vrox ended up breaking the dude’s neck. Jesse was in shock for a while afterward, but mostly he didn’t regret what Vrox had done, even if that troubles him. He doesn’t believe that violence is the answer, but he also has a hard time not starting fistfights with bigots.

Vrox: Yeah. He has a pretty bad temper and when seriously set off, he comes out swinging. He only meant to kill somebody a few times (see, above), mainly it’s just an accident. It’s only when people keep pushing and pushing him and being aggressive, however, mainly he just tries to remove himself from the situation before he can snap and demon-out on them. He’d never get physical in a simple argument, for example.

Falkner: Absolutely. Never walk up behind them without being sure they know you’re there or you will receive a punch in the face that turns your brain to soup. They don’t like killing people and avoid it when possible, but they also won’t hesitate if they need to, either. Their only qualm will be the clean-up required.

Emala: She’s killed the most out of all of them. In her work as a nurse she is almost daily forced to reap souls, since dying via an angel taking your soul is the most peaceful, comforting kind of death, and that’s what her patients deserve. She only ever does so to a patient she knows is going to die anyway, with no hope for a recovery, and she illegally uses her angel grace to heal chronically ill patients enough as it is. It leaves her broken after every one, she hates taking lives. She has never been a believer of killing as an act of violence or anger.

Mars: … He mass murders all the family/loved ones of any poor soul who turns him down and then rapes and murderers the poor soul themself, murders many more in his many temper tantrums, and generally kills anybody and anything that displeases him. Yes.

Ben: Unfortunately, yes. When he fell and before he figured out about his out-of-control grace, he accidentally murdered an entire building’s worth of people because his grace exploded and decimated it and everybody in it. He was absolutely horrified and after that, made sure never to be around people when he could feel that ten-minute warning when he started feeling sick. He regrets it and hates himself for it and had a mental breakdown afterward. He has anonymously donated to the families of those he killed for years now.

Ginger: She’s gotten in some bar fights and broken bottles of people’s heads, she’s accidentally run over others, but she never intentionally does, and she does feel guilty afterward… just not for long.
