Silver's anxiety is something i havent seen talked about a lot, and im really just barely going beneath the surface here -- i hope i did it justice in anyway sfdkSKHJFDSKFH i think about his obvious anxiety disorder a lot

okay so yorukura definitely didnt stick the landing... honestly episode nine mightve felt like more of a season finale if it had been leading into a season two. i dont think its bad necessarily, splitting kanoyoru toward the end of the story but i dont think they got enough one on one time together before it ended. kimura and kiui really got time to shine, which i do appreciate, but kanoyoru has been set up from episode one. theyre really the heart of the show, and giving them so little time together- even with a relationship left unconfirmed, like in lycoris recoil- kind of kills it. they were going FULL THROTTLE on kanoyoru endgame. they didnt include an aquarium date in episode three a cheek kiss in episode five the motorcycle beach date in episode seven, all of mahiru's teasing and her remarks about a special someone who inspired her and she's interested in for it to be unintentional. their breakup had me on the edge of my seat, but their make up just left me wanting.

kimura and kiui's endgame developments are generally pretty well liked and with good reason. mei got to confess her feelings and she made it clear that in contrast to her reasoning as a fan it was because of her real, less marketable traits that she loved kano. that its because theyre such different people and because she doesnt always understand her or want to emulate her that she loves kano now. and she expressed that through her own real, unmarketable trait, showing a little bit more of her own growth and self acceptance. that said its got a little less punch to it given the use of "nonotan" was nearly back to back with kano's flashbacks of her idol days and her confessing to her father that she can barely remember the last time she was called by her real name. kiui stood up to their explicitly transphobic old friends and regained a bit of that childhood confidence. maybe im a bit dumb bc the trans coding didnt quite fully click for me until then but that really blew me out of the water. like yeah oh loss of self confidence due to social isolation- and onset of puberty. when they clicked with the driving school friend who is also trans, even under the baggy dysphoria fits kano noticed that their chest was slightly bigger than the woman who had work done. kinda masc vtuber rig. pink hair and pronouns. its really cool that they confirmed it!

independent of the yuribait i do think kano and mahiru were decently done like... in all aspects aside from one another. mahiru previously worried about comments criticizing her technical art and it drove her to improve. the JELEE gang's support is why she had the courage to start drawing again in the first place but kano's mom gave constructive criticism, and then praise for the initiative and self improvement when she saw the arm edit. but that focus on technical skills and approval from others becomes a double edged blade and she doesnt deliver her best work until she draws authentically to herself and her tastes as an artist. i feel like they couldve delivered on the jellyfish metaphor, about how jellyfish can only filter and reflect the light around them, but that the light reflected is made more beautiful for it as well or... something. the point of splitting a dynamic duo in the third act is generally to let them breathe and develop apart from one another and prove they can stand on their own before bringing them together stronger for it, but though the theme is still there i feel like they kind of dropped the light and jellyfish dynamic after the fight. that said mahiru's show of devotion to kano being a timeslot at the show, the jellyfish art all over the city, and all of that being done via the show light projectors, mahiru's art made to literally shine for kano was a great touch.

now kano... this might be controversial but i dont see her ending as a "forgiving an abusive parent", or at least i dont think thats the point of it. last we see of her mom is at her graduation ceremony. kano leaves campus and sees her mom and her sister came to see her. she says she made her moms dream come true and she's clearly happy about it- but then she walks away. its not full severance but she's not living on her mom's agenda anymore. her sister was in the car- her mom mightve meant for a family meal after the graduation ceremony. from kano's words this might be the first time theyve seen one another since the concert. but kano has plans with her friends and doesnt even hesitate. her mom discarded her but it was kano who made her dream come true anyway. and now she's moving on to what she built for herself. before, she was singing to prove her mom wrong- but she was still singing because of her. when the set her 100k follower goal she was going off her mom's success model of numbered audience. she was with the sundolls as a nepobaby because her mom was their producer and wanted her in. but JELEE is hers and its what she's pursuing. all that said im dead curious about what's up with her family situation- her dad seems to be a shut in maybe? he's deliberately a gaping abscence in comparison to kano's hypercontrolling mom, and theyre definitely split. and through his viewpoint in kano's flashbacks as well as the fact that he was the reason she was in shibuya to see mahiru's mural, and also the fact that he's the last shot of the ed really makes me wonder.

overall disregarding the finale i'd say the show was still about a 8/10 but even with all that going for it they chickened out on kanoyoru and the whole series was cheapened by it. maybe the full finalized concert lyrics of shinkai yuei had a more uplifting love song vibe to it, maybe if they had made it clear that she was singing a love song for mahiru. maybe if mahiru had been the one to encourage her instead of melo. i dont dislike these decisions independently, pursuing passions for yourself and the connection it offers with other people rather than one person in particular, forgiving yourself and laying the past to rest, overcoming guilt to take positive action are good. but the last episode feels incredibly empty and it feels like overall they actively dodged every opportunity to fulfill the conclusion theyve been dangling since the start. it burns to say since i was rooting so hard for this show but theres really no other word for it but baiting. its yuribait.

first of all: subz

bitch is soooo soldier coded it's not even funny anymore. his inventory is always too full of fighting materials for him to take his armor off during discussions. he stands around silently until directly spoken to and even then he usually turns the conversation to someone else. when i picture purple duo in my head i get subz standing just in front of vitalasy in full armor with a sword. after vitalasy was killed on the prison subz immediately took off after the assailant saying 'this shit doesnt slide'. his first thought was 'no way zam betrayed' no way the man he swore to protect would turn on him. no way. he didnt stop to question whether mapic and ro were in on it, they were there and attacking him and he wanted a fight. this man is a bodyguard and solider and knows nothing except build pretty base fight fight protect grind fight protect fight. he trusts zam still. he isn't sure about vitalasy. he pushed vi towards being the villain. villain arc was his original plan. his morals are a grey area molded into whatever shape is convenient for whoever hes attached himself to. im not sure he'll be able to hurt zam when the time comes. im not sure he'll be able to leave vitalasy.

next on the chopping block: vitalasy

what a fucking conman. knows his way around words and USES it. hes not very good at talking on the spot and kinda works himself in circles but he knows how to press buttons and get people either on his side or secure an enemy he wants to have. he'll tell you hes not the leader he has no power over people but his power is more subtle than a crown on his head. when things got heated in the zam discussion he rose to the challenge, yelling right alongside zam and bringing up all the ways zam had fucked up to get him to see reason. when it didnt work he switched to victim coding himself until jaron killed him and he realized zam had betrayed. the acceptance (defeat) in his voice when he asked if zam had done that haunts me. he didnt want revenge like subz. he didnt immediately go for the attack. he just wanted to talk. after he died he kept swearing. he said fuck live on twitch.tv multiple times because of the emphasis it would give to his anger. he typed it in in-game chat to show zam how angry he was. hes stuck unable to stand up for himself against zam because of the tyrant label hes surrounded himself in. he used subz's gum under their shoes metaphor at the end to loop in back around and told him they were gonna be great villains. terrible, awful, amazing villains. what do you mean he was supposed to be good? this was the point all along. all roads led here. trust him.

this motherfucker makes me so angry right now i swear. mans is so traumatized it blinds him. he sees so much bad in all people he hides the good from himself. everything is black and white with him. these people are bad, these people are good, these things are bad, these things are good. he didnt have to betray. he couldve just left and things would've ended differently. but thats not right. thats not the princezam way. if he doesnt want to be on their team they must be evil. and doesnt evil deserve to be killed? after the betrayal he was joking with 3ht. he was laughing and joking and had already moved on from eclipse. the attachment ended when he decided they were evil. there was no more love. no more care. black and white. good and evil. imagine a man who is so so traumatized and scared of being alone that also has to always be so so morally correct. are any of his decisions going to be logical? are his conclusions going to make sense? he said himself that he wants to push vitalasy and see if he reacts. if he reacts hes obviously been evil all along and zam was right. he still trusts subz. he thinks vitalasy has been lying and manipulating him the whole time. he did exactly what mapic said he would do because mapic knows zams betrayals. how long until 3ht do something he deems wrong. will he be willing to go on alone?

family hunting trip. i love winchesters. Dean got his taste in music and food from Mary. agent beyonce and agent jay z:) . an angel and a demon i love them. okay i feel sorry for mary but she just left them. i hope she'd stay dead, then all of them would be happy. Dean and Sam had gotten over it. Mary was happy in heaven. Now Mary misses her family in heaven, so she leaves Dean and Sam heartbroken. Maybe they would be happier if Darkness brought Bobby back. Or Charlie (I still haven't gotten over his death, I'm still in denial).

the early seasons. i miss it. things were more simple. winchesters are gods(chucks) besties, they are not lying about that. seeing dean smile makes me feel good. ketch killed magda.

I still haven't gotten over her death. I don't think I'll ever get over it. this Show is supernatural we saw characters' deaths but they returned most of the times. even bobby he is dead but we still see him some of the episodes. Why do we never see Charlie, they never even mention her. she didn't deserve such an end. I thought we might see her at least in 1 or 2 episodes. But she died, unexpectedly, and I still can't believe she is dead. I've said this many times, but when I watch new episodes, I think of her every now and then and I still can't make sense of her death. I miss seeing Mark Pellegrino. he is great as lucifer others are good too but I want to see him more. rowena is crazy at first i didnt like her much but i started to like her this season. i dont know what i expected but im disappointed that crowley didnt help cas. Mary gets angry at Cas, but she wasn't there. The boys didn't even ask for help because she was gone. she left. 6 weeks! whatever they will get out idk how or when but they will. winchesters… i love them so much. How did they deceive the men? They didn't really defeat Lucifer, did they? He'll come back again, he can't be gone. I don't trust the men of letters either, but I really hope they can help. The guys don't stand a chance against Dean and Sam. cas!!!! What he did was very reckless. I'm glad the Winchesters aren't dead, but they've done things to disrupt the order of the universe too many times. What Billie said scares me. Billie is dead, the others are alive, this is a good thing, but what they will encounter next will be worse. and that is scary. The Winchesters took an angel and added him to the family and changed him, and it was great to watch this change, but it's not for the better, cas will die i know it but i dont want to see it. i knew ketch would kill them. mary! what The British Men of Letters saying is a good thing but like i said some monsters are not monsters. they deserve to live. and although their methods are effective, they are a bit extreme.

Okay, Cas did something careless, but Dean needs to let it go and look at other things. Sam is right Cas saved all of them. cas is talking back to dean now, this scene is so funny. cas had a woman vessel! im glad he changed he no longer blindly sticking to rules. he is in team free will and this team always saves the World and i love them.

this ep is funny but is kinda sad. i have mixed feelings. i watched some clips of this ep. and ive been waiting to see it. jensen is amazing. hunting is the best job?! dean forget about his traumas. he is so happy full of life. It will be nice when Dean remembers everything, but I will be sad. Now he has forgotten the bad things and is in a happy state. But when those memories come, he will be sad again. I wish Bobby had come instead of Mary. If there is no bullet, why do you take out the colt? To drive a wedge between Sam and Mary even further? about how understood and validated taimi feels with astrid. astrid was being told to slow down, let the grown ups handle thinsg too many times during the personal story. even when she was a warmaster at the vigil she'd be grossly underestimated. let the grown ups handle it, taimi knows that sentence all too well. but astrid always believed in her. astrid always gave her a chance.

and astrid always wanted to know more. she understood the words that made brahams and rox' brain smoke. she'd understand the machines and the experiments and the plans that taimi would come up with. finally someone would share all that excitement for scarlet. they could talk for hours, taimi could sit there and explain things to astrid and they'd learn from eachother...

astrid starts working on her own golem/mech during lws4, and it takes a great while until its finished, but taimi is there for every step of the process. sometimes they just sit together and look at blueprints like theyre fashion magazines.

id like to think that astrid helped to make an early version of some kind of leg braces/mobility aids for taimi. they werent as good as they couldve been. theyre nothing compared to the jade tech taimi uses later on. but they were a sign of how much astrid loves taimi.

-new character: interesting that theyre a rearmed but ok saitama face. people are saying maybe 4/5 next but i feel like it could be 17 (and add less royalty characters- maybe one of the younger siblings, the player character, side characters/enemy only? morion pls im politely asking). i think the best case scenario is theyre the queen from the past, that would be wholesome to have her actually meet kind friends in the alfr. kinda like another character i dont really have anything against her when she was a child- she kidnapped and forced children to work for her just bc they were poor and from a bad home life as an adult, but as a child she was abused by her peers and only treated well by her brother bc he wanted to marry her off to them. like her actually meeting nice people and getting standards would be great but idk if itll happen.
