"I feel like the writers are speed running the square a little too much this season."
Well, considering how one of the biggest complaints was how long it was taking them to get together, and how many people claimed to have stopped shipping them because of how long it was taking, I don't really blame them.
Even if I don't ship the square anymore, I'm glad we're getting some developement now. I really am. But looking at the entire show, why did we have 4 seasons of almost nothing and all the developement only happens in season 5? From season 1-4, we only had developement on one side of the square, which is Lady//noir, where LB learns that CN likes her but she rejects him but he's not giving up bla bla, and then the whole Ladynoir conflict in s4 (which I still think was pretty pointless but that's another can of worms). Other than that, their dynamic never fundamentally changes. Adrie//nette was always "Mari is too anxious to talk to Adrien the king of obliviousness", and Lad//rien and Mari//chat were almost non-existent (I can count the amount of episodes about them on one hand).
In determination, we learn that Adrien started to develop feelings in Puppeteer 2. If that's the case, how tf is it possible that this hasn't been broughg up or hinted at for one and a half seasons? Adrien's behavior never really changed that much around Marinette and if he hadn't said anything about the statue scene, I would've never guessed (as always, tell don't show). Heck, he even dated Kagami during that time! For Marinette to notice Chat in a different way, it was pretty abrupt. She rejects his advances all the time, but he just needs to be supportive and heroic one time and she goes all bisou bisou miaou miaou on him in 0.5 seconds. This could've happened way sooner and the the writers would actually have time to let Marinette process her feelings considering chat blanc and all that. But no, Mari loves cat boy and all logic flies out if the window immediately bc of course it does.
The writers dragged the whole thing out with filler, what-if-memory-loss stuff and two love rivals (you know I love Luka and Kagami so so much, but the Luka//nette and Adri//gami arcs, as much as I love those ships, were nothing but filler in the grand scheme of things, nobody involved got any meaningful character developement out of it) without doing anything and now they have to speedrun everything because they think that's what a slowburn is, not giving the characters any time to think about anything and writing them slightly ooc (Marinette pursuing Chat this intensly SO SOON is ooc you can't change my mind).
It's giving "I have an assignement due to midnight so I'll prepare some notes slowly and write the paper itself at 23:55"

roommate!percy blurb because let's ignore that i haven't written anything in a month . . .
the funny scene in the movie should've made you laugh, but it didn't. if anything, it's made you grimace like you're in pain, because it's made percy laugh, and goodness knows what his laugh does to you.
you like percy's laugh. you like the boyish cadence that carries with it, the little roughness around the edges tickling your ears in the best way possible. you like his voice when he talks to you, low and soothing as if his words are secrets meant for you and you only. you like his smile, his eyes, his hair, the way he smells.
shit, you just like him, really.
but he doesn't know that. he shouldn't, he's not allowed to, because he's your roommate. and roommates don't like each other like that, right?
"hey." the single word is a bird's song when you hear it. your eyes snap towards percy's, strikingly blue under the fluorescent glare of the tv. he's so pretty, your brain reminds you, and you forget to listen or respond to him for a second. "... you okay? is the movie boring?"
"what? no." your voice feels weird in your throat when you speak, mouth dry and tongue heavy. it's like you forget how to talk when you're around him, and you want to slap yourself because it's stupid. "no, the movie's not boring, percy. i'm sorry, i wasn't paying much attention.”
"what's going on in that pretty little head of yours, hm?" he taps a knuckle against your temple, the chaste touch feeling like fire under your skin. he inches closer before you can reply, and then his thighs are pressing against yours and you feel close to exploding.
"is something bothering you?"
"no!" silly, stupid. you clear your throat. "i mean... no, no. nothing's bothering me, percy. i'm okay." you wish he'd go back to watching the movie.
percy frowns, a real deep one, as if he's greatly perturbed by your answer. "please tell me, sweetheart. please?"
"i don't like seeing you upset."
you're grateful for the dim lighting, because the blush on your cheeks would've told him everything he shouldn't know.
"i'm not..." you sigh. "i'm not upset."
"then what's going on? did i do something wrong?"
gods, no, percy, you're an idiot! you want to yell, but you don't think it's very fair. you're being an idiot, too.
"you laughed."
percy's visibly confused. you want to run away and hide. "i, what?"
"you laughed. i... i don't like how it made me feel."
his brows furrow like what you said is a serious problem. "you... don't like how my laugh made you feel?"
he chuckles, unsure.
"see, you're doing it again!" you groan, hiding your face in your hands. percy's gone from your sight for all of three seconds before warm palms are wrapping around your wrists, gently pulling your hands away from your face. you feel like exploding again.
"what's wrong with my laugh, honey?"
you don't meet his eyes, you can't. you'll combust if you do.
percy hooks a finger under your chin, tilting it upwards to face him. he's a menace.
"tell me why you don't like my laugh, sweetheart."
"'s not... 's not that i don't like it, it's just..."
"it sounds nice."
the grin percy sports is giant. nothing could've erased it in that moment.
"you're upset because my laugh sounds nice and you don't like how it makes you feel? do you feel good hearing it?”
"stop asking me questions, percy!"
he is a menace, really, because he does what you ask and pulls you into a hug instead, burying his teasing and grinning into your hair.

2k followers lets goooo!!! (Proud follower hereee!!!) And ive been wanting to request smth from you for a while now and i think this is the perfect opportunity !! Can u create some hesdcanons for sabo, law, luffy, zoro, and sanji (maybe shanks too?) where the reader wants to leave the crew/organization their in coz of smth from their past, making them have to? They could've already left, about to leave quietly, betrayed them unwillingly etc!!! Do your thing !
^ - ^
Angst to comfort plsss my heart cannot take anymore heartbreaks huhuhu
A/N: just did the captains for now :)
Characters: gn reader x Sabo, Law, Luffy, Shanks
Total word count: 1.2k
Blackmail
Sabo
You were gone when Sabo woke up. No note, nothing. But you had knocked out some security guards in your escape off the island. So Sabo set off, trying to figure out where you had gone. He would go to the ends of the earth to find you again if he had to.
Some people called it denial. Some called it insanity. Some called it pitiful. He didn’t care. He had been called all those things before.
But he knew you. He knew that you wouldn’t betray him. Not like that. He refused to believe everything you two shared wasn’t just an act.
He chased you for weeks, following your tracks and just barely missing you at several encounters.
He was so close, and he couldn’t help but feel like you were leaving him a trail. You knew how to disappear. The fact that he could find you meant you wanted to be found.
When he finally found you, curled up in a bed with shackles around your arms as you slept, he knew you were doing everything against your will. The two men who were guarding you were easy enough to take care of, and he woke you up gently.
“We’re going home,” he whispered, unlocking your cuffs.
When you realized it was him, you began sobbing, apologizing for all the trouble you had caused. But he refused to accept your apologize-you owed him nothing of the sort. You were safe now, that’s what mattered.
After you return home and he’s certain you’re safe, he sets off to find the mastermind behind the whole blackmailing situation. He’ll never let anyone ever hurt you again, and those people need to be taught a lesson.
Law
Your plan was to slip out quietly, in the dead of night. You had snuck sleeping pills into everyone’s drinks, and you were certain they would be out until morning.
So your heart dropped when the light flicked on as you were stealthing through Law’s office to take your leave.
“Y/N,” Law’s voice was steady and alert. “Where are you going?”
“I’m leaving.” You refused to look at him. He’d be able to see through you in an instant.
“Is that why you attempted to drug me?” he asked, and you silently cursed yourself. Of course he would notice. “This isn’t like you.”
“You don’t know anything about me,” you said through gritted teeth. “Stay out of it.”
“I know you enough to realize your hands are clenched and your entire body is tight, which means you’re doing something you don’t want to do. I also know you won’t look at me when you’re lying, so you’re obviously hiding something.”
“Just stay out of it, Law.” You wouldn’t be able to live with yourself if he got hurt.
He suddenly shambled in front of you, and you couldn’t hide your tear-filled eyes anymore. He stared down at you, slightly disappointed in your lack of trust in him.
“We can figure this out together,” he reminded you. “You’re not alone. And we’re stronger together than we are apart.”
You let out a sob and collapsed into his chest, thankful for his endless love and acceptance, even when you tried to push him away.
Luffy
Luffy didn’t understand what you meant by “leaving the crew”. Especially since you wrote it on a note.
“We’re all in agreement, right?” he asked his crew. “Y/N needs our help. So we’re going to help.”
Everyone was in instant agreement. A goodbye note wasn’t like you. Even if you did want to leave, they all deserved more than a note.
Luffy made it his top priority to find you. They scoured the island, searching for hours. But nobody found you.
The next day, Luffy was the first one awake, and he was on the island before Sanji could even make breakfast. He was searching, determined to find you.
When he finally rounded a corner and made eye contact with you, your eyes widened. “Leave me alone!” you hissed, and then you took off running.
He easily chased after you and tackled you to the ground. “You’re not leaving!” he yelled, pinning your arms to the ground. “Not like that!”
“Luffy!” you hissed. You both needed to be quiet, or he would be seen. “Please go! Just leave.”
“Haven’t you learned?” he asked, his voice breaking. “We’re a family. We solve problems together. You don’t leave notes saying goodbye. Don’t we mean anything to you? Don’t I?”
His big, sad eyes finally made you break down, explaining everything to him and how you couldn’t sail with him due to a problem you had on the island.
Needless to say, Luffy fixed that problem immediately and had already forgotten about it all by the time the two of you got back to the ship.
Shanks
“That’s a lot of supplies for a quick run to port.” Shanks’s joking tone was present, but you could hear that his voice held something else.
“Things to sell,” you replied smoothly. If you could get off the boat and away from the crew, then at least they wouldn’t be hurt in the process.
Shanks hummed, clearly not believing you. “Strange of you to sell your most prized possessions, yet leave the emeralds and diamonds we picked up from that other ship.”
“Shanks-”
“Why don’t you tell me what’s really going on.”
You thought about running, but a glimmer from the crow’s nest told you that Yasopp was watching closely. Time to switch to Plan B. “I’m leaving.”
You could feel Shank’s gaze on you, his heart breaking at your words.
“I don’t like it here anymore,” you said, trying to keep your wits about you. “It’s suffocating. I can’t stand it.” You turned to look at him, mustering all the hatred you could. “I can’t stand any of you.”
You could see Shanks wrestling with your words, trying to decipher truth from lie. You had an excellent poker face, but unfortunately, he knew that as well.
“Kiss me, then.” Shanks walked toward you, and you stiffened at the thought. “You may be able to lie with your words, but your lips don’t lie when they’re pressed against mine. So let’s see if you’re telling the truth.”
“I never want to kiss you aga-” His lips crashed into yours, cutting your words off.
You tried to pull away, but you couldn’t. Your body simply wouldn’t let you. After a few moments, he pulled away, and you let out a soft whine in protest.
Shanks grinned, the answer to his question plain as day. He was relieved to know you didn’t actually hate him, but now there was an actual problem to be solved.
But he didn’t blame you, he blamed whoever put you in this situation. And surely they would pay.

❗4GGRAVATE NATION❗
come get y'all's food, i have another headcanon :D
[semi-supported by canon, once again]
anyway, i was rewatching Alhaitham's trailer bc of a fanfic i read, and i realized that he's probably the most flexible out of all of them.
-> think about it:
Tighnari and Kaveh both use weapons that require a lot of arm strength [even if Kaveh levitates his with Mehrak, he's still got those creaky old man artist joints] which somewhat limits the range of motion in the shoulder area
that doesn't nix Tighnari from being quick on his feet, just for the record, i am aware of his acrobatic abilities. But a lot of his gameplay is focused on footwork and jumping
Cyno, on the other hand, despite having a weapon that allows for more of a lithe build- fights like a claymore user. He's a very heavy hitter, and his attacks focus more on relentless force rather than the precision of other polearm characters
which is kinda cool if you look back at Kaveh, who DOES fight with precision despite having a claymore
and then you have Alhaitham, who in his original gameplay would arc almost completely into the splits to kick his sword down [i'm still so distraught that they lowered his leg, BRING IT BACK-] it is impressive that he can kick his sword whilst in a mid-air flip though, and still maintains a very aerial style of combat
-> also, he can teleport- why don't more people talk about that?
Kaveh comes home to find Alhaitham sitting on their divan, reading one of his books like usual
His hands are full of blueprints, with his charcoal balanced precariously on top, but he manages to close the door and start towards his room to set his stuff down.
The charcoal hits the ground
Alhaitham, glancing down at it: ...hm?
Kaveh, pausing; ah- shit, Alhaitham can you grab that for me? My hands are full.
Alhaitham, looking back down at his book: Yes, I can see that.
Regardless of his 'disinterest', he shifts as if to stand up.
And then doesn't.
Alhaitham arches over the backrest of the divan to pat at the floor until his fingers brush the charcoal. He places it back onto Kaveh's stack and settles back into his book
Kaveh: ....you could have just stood up-
Alhaitham: I could've not grabbed it at all.
Cyno and Alhaitham get caught up in a fight with some Eremites on their way back from a ruin exploration or smth [idk i have a headache]
It's a pretty evenly matched battle for most of it, but one of them manages to pin Alhaitham with his blade. Cyno makes to help him, but is quickly blocked by another enemy
Cyno, scowling: Alhaitham-!
The scribe dismisses his blade in a flurry of golden sparks, only to wrap his thighs around his foe's neck and twist to have the advantage- now having the Eremite pinned, he resummons his weapon
Both Cyno and his opponent freeze mid-clash
Cyno's Enemy: ...you wish that was you, huh-
The general mahamatra attacks twice as viciously
Alhaitham had gone to Tighnari for some minor medical assistance, having been closer to him than the Birmastan [and also just generally not trust it more than his friend]
Tighnari had suggested that he rest a little bit before heading back home, to which the scribe easily agreed and settled down on his friend's couch for small nap
When the fox goes to wake him before it gets too late to safely travel back, Alhaitham blearily stretches backwards over the armrest until he's nearly in half- sighing a little as it works out a few kinks in the small of his back
Tighnari blatantly stares
Alhaitham, pausing as he works his boots back on: ...Everything ok?
The fox covers the lower part of his face and offers no more than a thumbs up

ASHIE ASHIE ASHIE
MY BEST FRIEND, MY BELOVED
CAN I PLEASE, PLEASE REQUEST AN ANGRY! LEON SMUT FROM YOU WHERE READER DOES SMTH STUPID DURING A MISSION OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT?
JUST SOMETHING UNTIL THE NEW FIC COMES OUT
<3 i keep getting carried away with this guy, whoops-
you knew better than to go against your orders - direct orders.
Leon Scott Kennedy was the captain of your squad of five. Each one of your teammates had a specific job to do; one was in charge of scooping out the area. Two had his hands on the strongest of weapons, and mostly explosions. The third and fourth were on Leon's side, guns drawn with attentive eyes - leaving you the fifth; in charge of keeping watch on any oncoming enemy.
"Do not engage. You alert us and we can handle it from there - you understand?"
And you did - but why not engage?
You six were sent to a rural city in Russia, Dargavs Village - balls deep in the winter season. The weather was freezing your tits off but you had to stay put for the sake of the mission. You had gotten a tip that a possible virus was in the making, early stages and whatnot, right underground.
Leon and the rest of your squad went inside the building, leaving you alone with nothing but a flaregun. Your captain could've provided something to keep you warm but no, all you had was a hot pack - that had long gone cold - and your lukewarm coffee in your hydro flask.
It happened all too fast. One second you were keeping an eye out when you noticed numerous snowmobiles stop by the little house, and the next was you alerting your captain frantically. He was alarmed by your tone and told you they were moving out - and judging by his tone, you knew he needed more time to find the research files.
You wished you were the one with heavy ammunition. Your flaregun was for emergencies and you only had three bullets. You picked up the giant duffle bag next to you; it was for your partner - the one with the firearms. When you zipped it open, your eyes widened in glee at the rocket launcher.
You barely voiced your plan to Leon who was instantly against it.
"You keep gathering information - I got this."
"No, Y/N! Do not engage!"
"This is our only shot, Leon! They're too many, they'd wipe you all out!"
"And you can take them out?! This is a direct order - you will get yourself killed!"
"Tell Johnny I'll pay him back for the RPG."
That was the last thing Leon heard before loud rumblings shook the ground. The speed at which he ran out left his squad panting when he reached the open air only to see a massive wave of snow toppling down the mountain. The houses were sturdy enough, made of bricks and cement so he was safe.
How in the fuck did you cause an avalanche?
In the distance, he saw snowmobiles speeding after a white specific mobile - it was you. He ordered your squad to stay inside one of the tallest buildings before sprinting down to hide behind a wall and take down the three masked men, stealing one of the snowmobiles and going after you.
It was one of the most horrible moments with it happening in less than five minutes but seemingly lasting an eternity. When the avalanche had settled down, having taken out most of those minions, Leon was growing concerned by the second, yelling out your name as his eyes scanned the aftermath. Several snowmobiles were poking through the heavy rug of white and something churned in his stomach.
Then there it was; a red bullet flying into the air.
Leon found you hiding behind one of the many trees in the forest, breathing heavily at the adrenaline. You were unscathed. At first, Leon was utterly relieved to see you were okay, the next though...
Well, it led you to this very moment in the confines of the warm hotel room.
To say you were overstimulated was an understatement. Your lips were swollen from your attempts to not be too loud at the merciless rutting of his hips. Your hands were gripping the sheets of your bed, mewling helplessly.
Leon was behind you, having you in a standing doggy position, as he fucked you harshly. You really should've known better than to piss your own captain off - your husband. One of his hands was wrapped around your throat and the other was pressed flat to your back to keep you arched, making you feel every inch of his cock.
"Every goddamn mission," Leon snarled, throttling himself deeper, "You always gotta go against orders, don't you?"
He was mad, you knew that. You fully believed it was valid but then again, you managed to save your team and get the information needed for the assignment. You gave yourself a pat on the back for this and Leon chose to teach you a lesson instead. You weren't entirely refusing it, though.
"Leo- oh, fuck!" You moaned, your arms beginning to shake at the intense pounding. Your poor cunt was quivering at this point, having edged to hit cloud nine god knows how many times. You were never the type to keep count.
"Mmh," Leon muffled his groan, hungry eyes trailing down to the way your pussy swallowed him whole, "Your body listens to me more than you - look at you taking all of me, fuck..."
"I don't think you even deserve to cum," A dark chuckle, "At least not with my cock."
"Please!" You pleaded, eyes snapping wide open with a gasp when a slap left your ass cheek stinging.
Leon sent another smack, the sound echoing in the room, as his thrusts did not relent nor falter. You were up in the clouds, biting your tongue to hold back your shrieks. The action sent you gushing more around him, and he hissed when your walls clenched and contracted his dick.
"So fucking messy..." He chastised, squeezing a handful of your cheek to soothe the burn and he looked up at you, releasing your neck to tug on your hair.
Your moan died up in your throat when he towered over you, sinking himself to the hilt. His eyes bore into yours intently.
"You sure know how to keep me on edge, huh?" He snapped lowly, "How do you think I'd feel if my own wife was along those bastards that died in the snow?"
"It was to, ah, keep you," You whimpered, closing your eyes for a moment, "To keep you safe. I led them away, to save you."
"Isn't that what you taught me and the rest of the team?"
A whisper.
Leon's eyes softened but remained in their sharp icy nature, voice heavy with concern masked with frustration.
"You shouldn't have done that, either way. I'm your captain, you listen to direct orders."
"Yeah," You managed to nod, looking up at him, "But you're also my goddamn husband."
The DSO agent's rage shook, tipping over like a volcano. You were always so stubborn - and he loved that about you. It saved him and deemed the mission a success. He could've lost you that day, making him grow anxious at the mere thought of ever not having you by his side anymore.
You may not have known as you were in the shower, but he was seriously about to tear up. When you had gotten out and only joked about how you almost became like the Winter Soldier from the Marvel comics, that thread of restraint snapped.
"Damn it," Leon's cock resumed pulsing into your starving cunt and letting go of your hair to grip your hips with both hands, "You're a fucking menace."
Your body shook with each thrust, moaning into the air with little to no care about any other hotel room. Warmth was starting to bubble within you, alerting you of your upcoming orgasm. Your legs shook to keep you standing.
Leon grunted through gritted teeth, feeling your walls tightening around him and he quickly slipped himself out right before you came.
"No! Please, let me cu-" You cried out, believing he was denying you yet another high but his lith middle and ring fingers replaced his cock.
"Oh shit! Leon~!" You squeaked as he finger fucked you noisily. His other hand stayed on your lower back to keep you still, pumping in and out purposefully that sent stars flashing in front of your eyes.
The pleasure that hit you was massive - exactly like that avalanche. Except it was searingly hot and shook you to the core. You gushed and gushed, cum dripping to the floor as the clear texture splashed and coated his hand and your inner thighs.
Your arms gave out and your legs nearly followed if it weren't for Leon to pull out and push the back of your thighs so you were on your chest and knees on the mattress.
You breathed heavily, audibly whining at the lingering climax. All that edging might as well blinded you but you soon found out your eyes were only closed.
"Happy?" Leon hummed, a smirk on his lips as he lathered his dripping hand over his rock-hard cock, pumping himself a couple of times.
Your gasp hitched in your throat when you felt that delicious stretch of his giant cock slid right back inside with long and deep strokes. His chest pressed down on your back, his dry hand finding its place around your neck right under your jaw, as he hovered over you.
Leon tilted your head up, diving himself deeper till his heavy sack brushed the inside of your thighs. Your hooded eyes were hazy, faint moans escaping through your lips.
"Did you learn your lesson, baby?" Leon's voice sent shivers down your spine and that loving glint in his eyes was more apparent than ever.
A smile itched the corner of your lips, giggling breathlessly, "I don't know - I wasn't listening."
"Oh, you cheeky..." His chuckles rumbled through his chest, shaking his head as he dropped his head into the crook of your neck, "Guess I have to go from the top, huh?"
"Guess you have to."
You shouldn't have gone against direct orders - but for nights like this, you'd go against the President himself.
