Ju wusste, er sollte sich lieber auf ihre Mission fokussieren und auf den Weg vor sich achten. Sie mussten vorankommen, endlich runter von diesem scheinbar endlosem See, und zur Zahnfee. Er sollte sich nicht ablenken lassen.

Aber es war schwer an etwas anderes zu denken, als an seinen besten Freund. Alle paar Minuten, wenn nicht Sekunden blickte Ju zu ihm rüber, als ob er sich vergewissern wollte, dass er noch da war. Als ob er sicherging, dass er ihn ja nicht wieder alleine ließ.

Joon, den er erst zwei Tage zuvor, vor seinen eigenen Augen hat sterben sehen. Der Mensch, der vor nicht allzu lange noch tot war. Die Person, für die er eine Abmachung mit dem Mann in Mond gemacht, und anschließend gebrochen hatte. Der Typ, der in diesem Moment neben ihm auf dem Floß saß, das Zepter der Zahnfee als einfaches Paddel benutze und sich mal wieder über die knallende Sonne beschwerte.

Normalerweise würde sich Ju über sein ständiges Gejammer aufregen und ihm sagen, er sei doch kein Vampir. Doch überraschenderweise kümmerte ihn das Gezeter nicht einmal.

Vor wenigen Stunden dachte er noch, er hätte seinen besten Freund für immer verloren. Er war quasi mit Joon zusammen aufgewachsen, und nun sollte er für immer weg sein? Tot? Einfach so? Ju hätte sich den Rest seines Lebens über Vorwürfe gemacht. Dafür, dass er so idiotisch gewesen war, Joon in dieses Schlamassel mit reinzuziehen, ihn dazu zu bringen, wieder diese magischen Bohnen zu nutzen, und ihn dann nicht vor Oskar retten zu können.

Ju war bereit gewesen, die Erde und alles was sonst noch auf dem Spiel stand zu opfern und den Masken zu überlassen als er ihnen das Zepter hinwarf, nur um Joon zu retten. Und trotzdem ließ Oskar ihn nicht los.Er hatte sich mit dem Mann im Mond persönlich unterhalten, war beinahe bereit gewesen, diesem sein Gesicht zu geben, nur um Joon wieder bei sich zu haben.

Und nun stand (bzw. saß) er, trotz allem was Ju je für möglich hielt, tatsächlich direkt vor ihm. Ju war ihm in die Arme gefallen und hätte ihn am liebsten nie wieder los gelassen.

Hätte Ju auch nur etwas weniger Selbstkontrolle, würde er Joon immer noch umarmen. Um sicher zu gehen, dass er noch da ist, dass er ihn nicht schon wieder verlässt, um ihn bei sich zu haben.Ihm war alles egal, solange Joon da ist.

Jus Gedanken waren zwar etwas wirr und drehten sich größtenteils um Joon, aber er wusste, dass wenn Joon wieder bei ihm ist, sie zusammen alles schaffen würden. Mit seinem besten Freund an seiner Seite, seinem Eternal Bro, würde Ju nicht versagen. Niemals. Er würde den Mann im Mond stoppen, und viel wichtiger, er würde Joon beschützen. Egal vor wem oder was. Nochmal verliert er ihn nicht.

Mit leichtem Lächeln im Gesicht beobachtete Ju wie Joon neben sich, sich über seine nassen Socken beschwerte, weshalb dieser auch kurzerhand seine Schuhe mitsamt Socken auszog. Wahrscheinlich hätte Ju sich jetzt wieder aufgeregt, aber es war ihm einfach egal. Denn dieses Verhalten war exakt das, dass er so vermisst hatte. Es war wirklich sein bester Freund neben ihm und das war alles, was für Ju zählte.

Sie waren wieder vereint. Zusammen.

Zwar jetzt schon seit einigen Stunden, auf einem Floß, mitten eines gigantisches Sees, aber Ju gab sich zufrieden mit was er bekam. Alleine Joons Anwesenheit würde ihm reichen.

THE CINDERELLA BOY IRISH DANCE AU!!

(Bet you didn’t see that one coming!)

I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time… I mean, every fandom has an ice skating or theatre AU, so why not? Here's our best boys at a feis (Irish dance competition).

Three things to note here:

100% drew this with the idea that Chase got mocked for being short by another competitor, and then proceeded to beat their ass at the Heavy Jig or something, so now Chase is showing off his medal to take the piss out of the offender. Buddy is pretty proud of both Chase’s accomplishment and Chase roasting this other competitor. These two have got such mean girl vibes together hahaha.

They have swapped number clips because Chase ripped his number card, but Buddy has one of the fancy number clips that include a little wallet to put the card in (as opposed to clipping the card straight onto you) which can hold the bits of paper together somewhat

Buddy’s costume violates about 40 costume modesty rules. Wearing this to a feis would kill a seasoned adjudicator in the same way that a tango ice blast would kill a small Victorian child (this will not stop him bitching about being made to put a shirt on, however).

I've got more planned for this AU! There will be comics! There will be doodles! There will be a small gang of middle aged women tackling Buddy to the floor in a desperate bid to get an appropriate jacket on him! But for now, I'm going to go and decide what colour backing paper to put it onto. And I'm going to go an tidy away the 4 billion pens that have spawned in my flat hahaha
