They are both so protective of each other, the reactions they each had the whole episode whenever they realized other was in immediate danger were so visceral and emotional, I'm CRYING over these two

Finally I can reveal what I am working on. Meet Macy, my very first OC that I will be illustrating myself. Currently she is my fave OC so I put her into Touchstarved and she fit there perfectly. Since it is my first time ever drawing a human I am really really struggling a lot and it also very unfamiliar to draw with colours.

I only have drawn little creatures or animals before in black and white or with a pencil, so this is very new and exciting.

It's not much, but it's honest work.

Sadly I won't be able to finish her soon since my Dad needs his tablet back tomorrow and this is as far as I as able to progress with her. I am sure other talented people reach that point in a few hours but from concept until now it was around 5 days for me now. But I also got a full time job and stuff to do so it wasn't 5 actual days of work :D

I hope so far you like her and find her interesting. My friend said they will coach me as soon as I get the iPad back to finish drawing Macy and they wanted to help me with her face - the thing I am very most afraid of.

Shading, details, even the hair do not seem remotely as stressful as drawing her face, it is just really scary to mess it up and get super frustrated with not being able to convey what I am imagining, so huge kudos to all artist, I came to appreciate this kind of visual art even more over the last few days ❤️

I love how Ekko and Jinx are both artists. Ekko makes these gorgeous realistic murals, meanwhile Jinx's artistry is plastering colorful doodles and graffiti everywhere. You just know these two had fun in that other world

I seriously need people to understand that Penelope didn't wait for Odysseus for twenty years because social expectations dictated it, or because she was expected to be a faithful wife even untill she died.

Actually it was exactly the opposite: her father wanted her to remarry, some of the women wanted her to remarry, her son made her understand that if she took another husband and left home he wouldn't stop her. And at a certain point she recounts that before leaving for war Odysseus had told her that if he were to die, she could remarry whoever she liked (making sure first that Telemachus would take the throne without problems).

I need people to understand that Penelope's choice was entirely personal. She didn't remarry because her love for Odysseus had never abandoned her, because she knew that with no one else could she find that complete identity of thought and mind, that homophrosyne that she had with him.

It was not the choice of a woman who was modest and trapped by the expectations of her time. It was the choice of a woman who was freer and more independent than others, who preferred to remain without the protection of a man rather than resign herself to not having HER man.

So MC specializes in summoning and protective magic right? Cause they asked Solomon and natural talent, respectively.

Then one day, MC is with Solomon and he asks them to bring him something. But then they raise their hand and the object just comes floating to him. And he is SO proud cause like??? His little apprentice learned telekinesis??? On their own??? And pretty good???

And he starts singing praises with a stupid smile on his face and MC just smiles and thanks him cause it's really not that weird for him to get excited at their magic.

Then another day they do the same thing, but before the object flies through the air, he catches them mumble something about "Spirit of Wind" during the incantation. He's kinda confused and he asks them.

"Wait what do you mean wind?"

"What?"

"Just now, didn't you use telekinesis?"

"You didn't teach me telekinesis"

AND NOW HE IS EVEN MORE PROUD??? Cause what do you mean you're using the wind??? Do you know how much control over pressure, force and direction you need to do that??? He bets it's even harder than normal telekinesis???

Meanwhile MC stands there a little confused before Solomon's bewildered expression turns into a laugh as he goes to hug them.
