#im fine im not even in real pain #but its very annoying that i cannot see a doctor to start antivirals today #and very funny that it shows up ON CHRISTMAS #like fr most places should be closed on major and a lot of 'minor' holidays #but i feel like the urgent care is one place that really needs to be open #and the staff should be properly compensated for working xmas #oh well guess i start them tomorrow.

I don't have any problem with assisting the older folks in my family with tech. I really don't.

But asking me to be there physically when two of them try to link apps with their phones during my work hours after I have sent them written instructions that will perfectly work, is just *takes a deep breath* ridiculously unnecessary.

I know they want me as their emotionally comfort backup option around but guys I have to work. And 930am is a really shitty time for me to take a break. And I'd rather use my break for things like, idk, eating? You know, what breaks are designed for? So yeah, no, Friday 930 is really not a great time for me to go places that do not need my presence at all.

#I did end up telling them let's do it Saturday when we'll see for family lunch anyways #And today is a meh day anyways but for real I'm quite annoyed that like I wrote them instructions #I explained it in a phone call #There's zero reason for me to go there be around while they follow the instructions.
