movie is gonna feed my stsg heart but it will crush it aswell at the same time, in one full motion lol... one thing that has been on my mind though, regarding when it comes to Gojo, i can definitely see him yearn for a soulmate but hold back, and i don't need to explain why i believe? The thing is, if he ever were to have a s/o, he wouldn't really need a second Geto, as some people like to assume, one reason why their relationship is so tragic and special is because first they were equals, second, Geto was probably the ONLY person that ever treated him like a human being, the fact that Gojo still considers him to this day as his one and only best friend just proves that to me?? Anyway i personally think he'd be more than content with someone who loves him for him, who understands him and sees the real him. They wouldn't need to equalize to Geto at all tbh, so all im saying at least in fanon its okay to imagine Gojo with someone else aswell, its these things that don't happen in canon that can be explored in fanon, what would Gojo be like? Idc about authorical comments in the slightest because i've seen how that man loves and he wouldn't look for a second Geto but he would still hold him in his heart, that's the important thing.

Point is, even if Gojo moved on, he's not gonna forget the person he loved/loves, but he also wouldn't look down or mistreat the one if he were ever to love again like that.

I’ve said something similar yes, but not so well thought out like you have! And you’re right, I don’t think he’d look to replace Suguru, but I think he’d be a little hesitant to open himself up again. Or him thinking for a while that no one will ever be able to top Suguru in his heart or make him feel the same way again, but if someone came along and accepted all of him for who he is, maybe he’d realize it’s not about replacing or anything like that.

It’d take some time, especially when it’s not just “getting over an ex” but he’s grieving deeply. This was beautiful anon and you’re so right that the movie is gonna bring this out for a lot of us :(
