Something that will never not be funny to me is how Harlan writes dialogue for John and then realizes how fucking romantic it sounds so he has to follow up every interaction in which he talk to anyone ABOUT Arthur with a “friend” at the end lmao.

“My king, I respect the affection and care you bestow upon your very dear FRIEND”

“He’s meat”

“Yeas but he’s my meat- MY FRIEND”

“Why does he chose you and not me?”

“Because I love him.

And he loves me. That’s FRIENDSHIP”

Are you doing this to mess with us or are you doing this to yourself and we are all just going along with it for the feels?

(And, just to clarify, this is not a “they are clearly in love with each other” post, but me saying that (whether read as platonic or romantic) it felt like Harlan realizing how beautifully he wrote a piece of dialogue and then having to throw 3 “friends” for good measure in the next sentence, lest the fandom bursts into flames. And that’s seemed a little funny to me)

i love this tiny little moment where winner kinda looks at yellowface and they’re like huh maybe he isn’t so bad!! i really loved him this episode, to me it was such a good way of highlighting the type of character he is. he’s loud and chaotic and can be so selfish and cruel, but when it comes down to it and the people he cares about need him and are in actual danger, he risks getting himself trouble to keep them safe. (letting them hide in cloudys stash and eventually ruining it, yellowface being the one to blame for that) i would like if it he went back to being the way he was in tpot 8 though like, i dont want it to be a ‘character’s arc get solved just because they acted different for a moment some other time’ situation. i just want this to be a gentle reminder that yellowface isn’t a complete monster and he has a very soft caring side to him that just needs its own chance to shine

i miss mouse and tina shouting jaidens name whenever they saw her log in/meet up with one of or both of them. we're missing a woman in girl village and no one seems to care :(

i miss seeing jaiden parkouring around a room in someone elses pov while everyone holds a serious conversation, theyre talking about code attacks and egg deaths in ordo theoritas and shes over here literally climbing the walls and finding the perfect place to perch and eavesdrop from.

Idk why everytime I think of Komaru I imagine her to act like, 78% ish Mabel Pines from gravity falls. Maybe it's just me. But I like to think how silly her and Makoto's dynamic would be.

Komaru, laying on the ground after a harsh but not too major fall and landed onto a bush underneath. Smiling sheepishly towards her brother who was standing, looking down on her, arms cross with the look of her familliar dissapointed mother would look.

Makoto: "what are you doing sneaking through my window???"

Komaru: "gotta get to my room"

Makoto: "through my bedroom?!?!?"

Komaru: "I mean, It's called sneaking in?"

Makoto: "why can't you use the entrance?? You're not an intruder Komaru, the security would recognised you!"

Komaru: "and uh... I just wanna test out my hacking gun?"

Makoto, resisting to sigh: "Komaru you don't need the hacking gun anymore, it's only gonna harm us both more than good"

Komaru: "it saved my life before!"

Makoto: "and what about tonight?"

Komaru, paused to think of an answered and ended finally said: "fair enough, tonight the hacking gun betrayed both of us"

Makoto: "will you promise me not to do that again?"

Komaru: "aw man, the last few times I did this you weren't complaining. Then again you were dead asleep so—"

Makoto: "YOU'VE DONE THIS BEFORE???!!??"

ok, ok, I have this terukaneaoi au where akane dies and wakes up in the 80s and to which he then continues living life in the past (after many confusing realizations) and then meets the schools messiest relationship known to man in the process; teru and aoi, everyone knows how much arguments they get into yet they still look great together. akane somehow manages to get close to aoi (with the help of nene since akane kinda got attached to her since shes the only one to know about his situation). aoi is interested by akane and wants to know more about him while akane is like, literally in love.

while with teru, he finds out about this and like the great boyfriend he is, he of course, somehow (intentionally) meets akane and gets really angry at him. (he's just jealous; he really cares about aoi and is just afraid she will leave him), akane is confused, aoi stops teru from doing anything else and from then on, anytime aoi hangs out with akane (which is a lot of the time since aoi has no one else she actually likes to hang out with unless it's akane or nene) teru comes along.

akane and teru have a rocky view of each other but teru eventually becomes fond of akane (which takes a long while, in the meanwhile they have lots of petty arguments and relentlessly make fun of one and another, aoi has to force them to get along).

one of the funniest criticisms of the sonic movies ive ever seen is that found family is a weird theme for a sonic movie and sonic media never touches on that sort of thing.. like not liking tom specifically? understandable. acab. thinking that sonic having a house and parents is a bit unusual? also understandable. especially if youre an actual sonic fan. but thats not what im talking about im talking about people who say found family in general is weird for sonic as if that stuff hasnt been brought up a million times in other sonic media. or that a hedgehog with a human family is this weird new concept as if shadow doesnt exist. helllloooo have you ever consumed any other sonic media in your life
