The week starts off deceptively smooth and even rather quiet astrologically, with the Sun moving into introspective Scorpio on Monday, and Tuesday being a particularly favorable day for making progress and staying focused on most any type of task at hand. It is deceptively calm because this weekend brings a powerful Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Taurus, that is certain to stir the emotional pot by bringing buried issues to light—providing an opportunity to evolve beyond old patterns, or to stay stuck in repetition.

As the Sun moves into Scorpio, it joins Mercury (the mind) and Mars (power, passion, anger) in this deepest of all signs, while being opposite expansive Jupiter and unpredictable Uranus in Taurus. This Scorpio/Taurus axis gets a supercharge this weekend with the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Taurus, activating this polarity. Taurus and Scorpio are both fixed, strong-willed, and often stubborn signs. Both signs deal with ownership and power—Taurus is personal resources and possessions, while Scorpio deals with shared resources and possessions—what’s mine, what’s yours, what’s ours?

Sun in Aries ♈️🔥, Moon in Scorpio ♏️🌊

Anyone have unusual dreams last night? The dream world was active for many of us with the Scorpio Moon in a square with Pluto in Aquarius. This is about as deep as it gets. Scorpio and Pluto deal with the unseen, the taboo and digging into the depths of everything. They don’t want to see what you are on the surface. They want to dig into the depths of your soul. Both of these energies are stubborn and will force you to transform. The morning could be a little emotional. Digging deep is the name of the game to start off this day.

TRIGGER WARNING: None Adrian Ravenlock, knew that there wasn’t a life for him in Ravens Peak, maybe due to the family name that carried weight with it wherever he went or the fact that he had big dreams  for himself that one small town couldn’t contain. Sure he could be responsible he just choose not to, leaving as soon as he could to pursue a career in music. Things didn’t work out all that well at first, it was good magic was on his side and it helped that his ego was ever going to the point that it wouldn’t flatter, never really showing signs of stopping. One thing lead to another and finally Adrian got his big break, his band got some recognition and they were able to tour around the country, he would never admit to it but maybe there had been a bit of an enchantment here and there in the lyrics, just enough to call attention. He does come home every so often, even if he does try to avoid it but now at the age of 58 Adrian feels like he needs to give Ravens Peak a chance, who knows what might happen.

They were taught from a young age what their place would be in the world, to take pride in what their family did and in the mist of all the stories of grandeur that they had been told it was easy to see why Darra wanted to prove themselves amongst their family, sure they might not understand it all but being an only child it meant that they had to go above to show that they were worthy and for a time it seemed to work. They grew to be a fine hunter, joining a small group of others like them, a sort of second family of their own. Of course things such as this never last forever and eventually Darragh saw more of the world, their perspective slowly changing, it was in this time that they met a woman named Olivia, falling in love for the first, she taught them new things and was a bright light in their world that seemed to be occupied by death. They were ready to walk away from what they knew, no longer the young foolish child they had been, why was it that they were considered the ‘good’ ones, slaughtering whatever supernatural came about, surely they too had families just like them, friends and lovers. Their ideals started to crumble and maybe that is the reason their family started to take notice, far too much questioning on their own part. On a cold night Darragh and their group had been assigned a job, the last one for them, no longer wanting stain their hands with ever lasting blood. It was easy enough, a pack of werewolves, nothing that they hadn’t done before. Darra doesn’t remember much from that night but what they do is, as they approached the pack there was a growl, turning with their gun Darragh had come face to face with one of the wolves but there was something… familiar about their eyes, as if it knew them. Darragh should have seen it then but it had been too late, there was a gunshot noise, the snow red with crimson and then it dawned on them of who lay in it, Olivia. They didn’t take the shot but to them it was as if they had killed her themselves. They reached for her, calling her name as they held her close desperately trying to stop the bleeding, asking for help as the other hunter stood by watching with disgust. What ever devotion they held for their cause fell apart then, they had murdered her when she had done nothing but protect her own, what wrong had they even done? It was then that Darragh made their resolve.  They were disowned by their family, not that they cared much, taking their time to devote to other matters, never sticking to one place for far too long. Of course its only a coincidence that one or two hunters disappear where they visit, nothing to think about. Now they found themselves in Ravens Peak, the rumors of the town far too interesting to stay away.

going it alone ?

since our teacher has long-since expressed his desire to have us work individually for advanced portfolios since the school year started, i assumed i would do it solo. the whole point of our first year's foundation portfolio being done in groups (in our teacher's opinion) was to prepare us to be able to work individually this year, so i was prepared for it, but also scared about doing everything on my own.

thankfully, it turned out that i don't have to be worried about doing it all on my lonesome since our teacher allowed grouping up for the portfolio today.

finding a friend

since i expressed my desire to do a korean song from one my favorite artists (which my teacher did have a few well-meaning concerns about, but ultimately gave me the greenlight for), one of my classmates & a fellow fan of bangtan (aka bts) - dania babar - asked me if she could join me, & i happily acquiesced :)

both of us spent the whole time in class excitedly brainstorming ideas for the music video we would make together. the first thing we decided upon was the song we wanted to do, & it was my initial suggestion that i put forward that we went with: still with you by jungkook of bts, a dreamy, jazzy, lil lo-fi ditty that has been close to my heart since it's release in the height of the pandemic in 2020.

i'll be the first to admit that i had a lot of very specific things that i wanted to do with this music video & project as a whole, & therefore, i was enthusiastic to say the least when it came to discussing the aesthetic we wanted to go with, the story we wanted to portray with the song, & the ultimate message i wanted the deliver. dania thankfully agreed with most of my ideas, though, & we had a lovely first brainstorming session & came out of it with a pretty solid plan going forward

Hey congratulations on 900 followers!! So happy for you! I wanted to request a romantic game of thrones match up.

I'm 5'3, use she/her pronouns, pisces with long curly black hair and black eyes, an INFP and I am doing psychology rn. I'm questioning right now so you can ship me with anyone. i think your appreciation for intellectuality would fascinate him. of course he grew up well educated, but i don’t see him having a passion for continuing his education past what the septa and the maester made him learn. he was more interested in practical things, knowing one day he would have to be a soldier and a lord. but you would prompt him to think for himself more, instead of following what other people expected of him. he’d find himself reading and expressing an interest in the arts, simply so he could bring it up in conversation with you. he’d want to impress you, and so he’d be actively bettering himself just so he could talk to you and make you smile.

he’d find it endearing that you get lost in your head and like to fantasize. i think there are times in his life where he also thought of all the possibilities he could find himself in, if it weren’t for being the stark heir. he’d have a certain appreciation for the heroics and the adventures of all the stories you’d tell him about. but fantasy can get a bit complicate, and he’d need you to explain the specifics. he might not even understand what you’re talking about, but he doesn’t care. he just likes listening to you talk enthusiastically about something.

he’d also find your indecision endearing. i think he’s a pretty logical person, and also a very stubborn person. once his mind his made up, that’s enough for him. in order to be a good leader, he can’t be questioning his every decision. it would show weakness, and potentially put his men in danger. but he’d also fear sometimes that he was making the wrong decision. he’d ask your opinion on certain matters, taking it seriously. you’d think it out better than he would, so he would really value your input on more serious matters. but for the less important things, where you still treated it like it was life or death, he’d love watching your process of making decisions. it would amuse him.

he’d find you in the library, scouring over the shelves for your next book to read. he’d chuckle at your look of frustration, it bringing a smile to his face.

“it doesn’t really matter what you read first, darling. they’re books. it’s not like they’re going to grow legs and hop off the shelf before you can get to them.”

you’d groan turning to him. “but what if the one i choose is bad? what if it’s wasting my time? what if there’s a better book on this shelf that i’m missing because i was too impatient to get to it?”

his grin would widen, and he’d pull a book down from the top shelf, handing it to you. “here. you’ll like this one, i promise. i read it myself.”

“you read this?” you’d ask, raising a brow as you took it from him to look over the pages. “why?”

he’d sheepishly shrug, shifting back and forth on his heels. “i figured you could read it and we could talk about it after. i actually enjoyed this one.”

you’d smile, your heart warming at his thoughtfulness. you’d link your arm with his, letting him guide you out of the library with your new selection in hand.

“how sweet. thank you, robb.”

he’d smile down at you, keeping you close at his side. “you’re welcome, love.”
