so on the subject of the "Crowley is secretly Revaan/Laverne/Levin/please Twst give us his name" theory, I think my feelings are best summed up as "I don't really buy it, but it's funny". like, in all seriousness, I'm not opposed to it; I have enjoyed the writing in Twst so far and I'm willing to trust that whatever happens will, you know, make sense and not be terrible. but I'm just not really convinced by the current evidence! maybe that'll change once we learn more, we'll see!

with that said, may I propose a few alternate theories about the possible Crowley/Revaan connection:

I was always befuddled how such a mindflayer can be so hard to trust while ultimately having simultaneous goals as the team. Then I finally saw their stats in the other timeline.

It all makes sense now.

I am forever bemused by this this lower-than-the-average-squid-charisma disaster of a mindflayer.

I can only surmise that when the Emperor said Stelmane was the face of their business-partnership, it was not only meant literally but charismatically as well. Squid buddy's got the brains, none of the suave. If Emps tried rebuilding the Knights of the Shield without another business buddy, it might've been a tad difficult if morals were concerned huah.

Fe Aspec Week Day 2: Friendship

Lucifer visits the shop, so surely he sees me wearing the merch of my favorite band or always playing it. And the way I make a mini display for any of the albums anniversaries.

I have no idea how sponsors work !! But Diavolo owns a hotel company, I think that's what it was in season three too? I can't remember, but it's a very famous company known for their generous hospitality and security. Lots of celebrities like using his hotels because they know they'll be safe.

So maybe the band is touring and they plan to stay at one of his hotels when there's an overlap of days?? Mayhaps?? Fans can use a promo code to save 10%! Ajsjd

anyway I'm sure there's a lot that goes into choosing who to sponsor, and Diavolo is asking Lucifer for his opinion (Lucifer VP? Maybe?) and the logo for fob catches Lucifer's eye. And he's like "?? where have i seen this before ??" and Diavolo notices, and chooses them without question. Lucifer saying he should make more informed decisions, and Diavolo saying Lucifer's interest is what counts as his information.

Next time Lucifer visits the record shop, he smacks his forehead when he remembers why he knew the logo/band name. Ah. That's why. But he obviously can't tell me the band is going on tour. Maybe he'll make a note to Diavolo asking if a seat can be reserved in the nearest city (spoiler: they're coming to THEIR city, which is the only reason I caved on buying tickets in the first place)

some things i want to point out.

gillion saying 'if i do die, i want my last conversation to be a silly goofy one' (paraphrased)

kinda related, gillion wanting his potential last questions to chip and jay be lighthearted ones about their favorite animal and what they like to eat

he makes puddle into a raccoon, jay's favorite animal

gillion being much more coherent while he's on deaths door

how calm and collected all of them were in the face of gillion's death (both chip and jay have had people close to them die, gillion has long ago accepted that he might die very young. none of them are under shock or derailed by this. they knew this would be a possibility.)

how gentle chip is with gillion (contrasting how he treated him at the beginning of the campaign)

how readily jay takes action to help gillion (contrasting how she used to be fairly reserved and only stepped in every now and then, when it was extremely necessary)

these are all things that stood out to me as significant. these are all things i could write an essay about if i had the time and the energy and if my brain wasn't soup at the moment. but i've got it all in there.

Actually I’ve come to the conclusion that Cynthia would like Kingdom Hearts for the exact same reason she likes Graces f (the homoerotic tension,,,,,,)

Inigo tries so hard to deny this fact in his head bc it defies his faulty belief system #he wants to keep indulging in the Lie born from his emotional Wound :3 #In truth though feigning detachment makes him incredibly lonely and dissatisfied and ultimately hurts them both 💔#Cynthia doesn’t help in this either with her own ambitions to heal him hurt/comfort fanfic style for her own loneliness’s sake #So in conclusion fuck yeah codependent relationships ✨ truly a concoction of bottled up feelings #We love the drama hehehe.
