New OC Alert: Azarin & Iris

Azarin Brkić

Firefly Engineering Detachment Chief

Affiliation: Bozjan Resistance Ancestry: Half-Bozjan, Half-Dalmascan Helion Age: 37

Azarin is the leader of a Bozjan resistance engineering unit, the Fireflies; so called that because often all you can see are the sparks from their welding machines deep in the night. She works tirelessly in service of the Resistance, and previously found a close friend in Misija. Her betrayal shattered Aza, and in the aftermath she doubled her zeal for Bozjan independence, as she doesn't wish for anyone else to fall victim to the conflict.

She's a Bozjan Cannoneer (aka Machinist) and has a big fuck ass cannon called Frou because it makes that noise as it winds down after being used.

Her wife, Iris, is a former magitek artificer and they both love to reverse-engineer Garlean designs to work with aether. After Bozja and Dalmasca were freed she wished to travel and see the world. Lucky that Iris agreed.

Iris Deloire (formerly Iris kir Laevinus)

Iris was once part of the IVth Imperial Legion under Menenius sas Lanatus. After an accident during a Bozjan ruins exploration, Iris was declared KIA, though a Firefly member found and delivered her near-dead self to his leader Azarin who took charge and made sure Iris received immediate medical attention.

Initially resistant to the Bozjans' hospitality, Iris refused to talk, until one day she realised that Azarin was attaching an aether converter to a magitek cannon (aka Frou). She corrected the Hrothgar's attempt and from then on, they became friends through their shared love of machinery and engineering.

Bereft of a homeland to return to, Iris threw her lot with the Resistance... and Azarin. They fell in love, and became a powerhouse of engineer couple, feared for their quick wit and ingenuity. After Bozja and Dalmasca were freed, she and Azarin made ready to travel the world, eager to finally enjoy peace and freedom that they'd been denied for so long.

The building is haunted, but the ghosts get attached to the workers [specifically the older ones who work there.]

The new workers are afraid of encountering them [most probably don't even know they exist and think it's just a rumor] while the older workers are used to them.

They're especially fond of this one guy in particular. He's been working here for 30+ years. They treat him like your indoor cat and he leans into their affection because he's a lonely starved old man who everyone sees as strict and indifferent.

[Note: This affection only extends to the older workers of the haunted building. (New workers have been reported fainting around their presence.) Others will not be treated as nicely. Please keep your distance and notify guards during an encounter.]

reintroduction for Marelea, my first skyrim spawn. bosmer stripped of instincts and needs that was molded into an ugly abomination by some shady, but smart!, individuals. shameless mary sue o' mine. sort of a failed 'superior lifeform' so.. fittingly, it has an incredible capacity for magicka as a result of the… let's say… experiment done on it. simpled down the initial design it had just a little bit. 🍀🔮🎎☀

i tossed and flipped its story around a bunch of times in my head and i think i finally reached an idea i like the most. it washes up on solstheim and is a temporary captive of tel mithryn after talvas discovers it. Give it a year or two; it just becomes a raven rock based menace (terrorist) and an adversary to neloth, headache to all. talvas is the only one to call it a "she" just because that makes it easier for him to empathize with Marelea.

We were talking about Misty and Gregory (thank you Squib for coming up with the ship name Mistory LMAO it’s perfect) and once again (because I love to design characters) was like “hm what if they had a kid” and then decided that they should have twins because it’s been too long since I’ve decided to design twins :3

So here we have little Gwendolyn and Griffin

Gwen has very little in the way of spirit powers, but she wants to be a paranormal investigator. She will use a magatama like a supernatural magnifying glass (by looking through the hole of it).

Griffin, despite being a dude, has spirit powers (because I said so. He gets to be special hehe).
