#they SHOWED him having several mental breakdowns AT WORK NO LESS

was watching the covid season of grey's anatomy all afternoon today and it was REALLY good with like the emotional and physical toll it took on the workers, how they all seem so tired and defeated, how often they break down in tears out of fear of their loved ones and the pain of being isolated from them, etc.
but then i stopped before they could kill off the character who spent a lot of time in manic depression last season and was actually shown to be in a better mental state right before he was killed in the middle of being a healthcare worker in a global pandemic
#no one judge me for the show that was my special interest when i was like 12#i knew when it was coming because he and his sister when after the person who i know killed him#and i'm so MAD ABOUT IT LIKE#they SHOWED that he had timers reminding him to take his meds and sleep#they SHOWED the people who helped him being proud of where he was literally right beforehand#they SHOWED him having several mental breakdowns AT WORK NO LESS#AND THEN THEY KILLED HIM?????#like okay. i did forgive them when derek died because i'm ngl it was kinda coming#i knew he wasn't going to be around by the end of the season#like. you know those movies where they show the missing/dead spouse in bed with the protag#and there's light all around them and they're talking about the future and how much they love each other#LITERALLY THEY HAD THAT THE EPISODE BEFORE HE DIED LMAO#so i was like 'oh the episode's only half over but the conflict is resolved. what's go- OH.'#but with andrew it's like. he didn't get that kind of a sendoff#there was no warning other than 'oh hey he's going after that woman he stopped last season while mid-manic episode'#this is the second chance i gave this series though ajdhskfjsj i stopped watching it after some honestly pretty decent nb rep#but it was poorly handled#also i hate teddy now akdjskdj girly's making up excuses for herself#throwing pity parties every episode because everyone knows she cheated on her husband and they're distancing from her#like. okay. you brought that on yourself though.#maybe? don't? cheat on your husband????#(i hate owen too btw <3 he literally said he cheated on cristina because he hated her)#(and he hated her because she got an abortion)#GRRRRRR#btw andrew did have bipolar canonically like they made that explicitly clear

Office Menace
Pairing: boss!Toji Fushiguro x reader
Warnings: dubcon, power play, unhealthy work dynamics, swearing, smut, attempt at humor.
Words: 1.4k
Summary: Being your boss' favorite employee is no easy task.
_________
Toji Fushiguro is the type of boss everyone hates and loves at the same type.
There wasn't a day he actually showed up on time. All his calls before 11 am end up being sent to his voicemail, regardless of the situation. Emails? He has his secretary sort all of his stuff for him. Reports? Haven't done one himself in a very long while. Overtime? Never for him, of course. He's outta there long before 5 pm. His employees, though? It's better not to ask.
He's such a slacker most people who don't work close with him wonder how he ended up as a vice president, overseeing a department of more than 50 employees. This guy probably spends more time in a gym than in his office.
But his people know why Toji is here, thriving even more than an utter workaholic Nanami Kento. Despite his seeming lack of interest and necessary skills to handle the job, Toji is sharp and observant, and his problem-solving ability is god-tier. Unlike many of you, he never sweats the small stuff. There wasn't a day when he cracked under pressure, even when one of your biggest suppliers suddenly went out of business, leaving you hanging on a thread with a horrifying deficit of goods. Even Geto was on a verge of a mental breakdown that day, but your boss just left the room, made a couple of calls, and returned an hour later with three more factories willing to pull the weight of that bankrupt supplier with less than one month delay. It was a freaking miracle. You still aren't sure how he managed to do it, but it's likely thanks to his impressive network and a sixth sense: Toji Fushiguro can smell smoke long before fire starts. He never comes unprepared.
That's not why his employees love him, though. Regardless of their annoyance at his style of work, they rarely leave because Toji is one of the few bosses who values his resources, and his resources are his people. When the company was going through a severe restructuring, letting go of more than a third of its workers, Toji's department retained the majority of his employees. He fought for them over and over until he wore down higher management and HRs so much they started avoiding him like the plague. To this day, some of your coworkers remind him of his heroic feat when they get drunk enough at the corporate parties.
Besides, while most of you do unpaid overtime, you get rewarded for it with bonuses and other perks like additional vacation days he somehow beats out of management. "We work hard and play hard," says Toji before he goes out for lunch at 12 and disappears from the office for the rest of the day.
He is, surely, a legend.
Jokes aside, you still remember vividly one day when you were supposed to have a significant presentation in front of the heads of departments, including Gojo, Geto, and Kento, and an hour before you discovered a mistake in your calculations because you collected data from the wrong time period. Blood drained from your face when you realized you had an hour to re-do all the formulas that could possibly change the outcome of the whole analysis you had spent weeks working on. If you didn't make it right, your mistake would affect all the crucial decisions made while developing the new collection. You were done.
When Toji found you a couple of minutes later, nearly sobbing and shaking in your seat, he quietly took a chair, sat next to you, and asked you to explain what the problem was. After you told him, biting your lips to shreds, he shrugged, compared the raw data from those two periods, found 4% difference in sales, and asked you to leave the report be. The change was insignificant. It wasn't going to affect the outcome of your analysis, and no one would even see your mistake. They would, however, see your puffy face and think you're unfit to give presentations of this sort if you couldn't handle the pressure.
So Toji just brought you a glass of water, told you to go powder your nose, and left as you stared at his broad back, unblinking, unsure if you wanted to keep crying or fly to him and kiss him all over his handsome face instead.
Least to say, Toji Fushiguro will always be a legend to you, regardless of circumstances.
Or not, given the situation you are in right now, your boss standing right behind your back with his hand not-so-subtly caressing your ass.
You bite down on your lower lip, thinking feverishly if you need to scream - given it's 9 pm and the office is empty - or smack him and run for your life. Both options seem worthless, and, to make it worse, you suck at confronting people. Especially someone as menacing and effortlessly cool as your boss.
While you're stuck in your thoughts, Toji moves his hand to pull your skirt up, and his large hand cups your pussy through your panties as you squeal. His breath warms your ear when you finally manage to utter a single, "S-Sir?"
You can feel him smile against your skin, his lips on your neck. "Sh-h-h. You're safe with me. I won't do anything you don't want."
Respectfully, you are a liar, Sir, you think because you sure as Hell don't want him to stuck his hand between your thighs and do this. Sleeping with your boss, even if he's as handsome as Toji Fushiguro, is a bad fucking idea. But you can't for the life of you get those words out of your mouth, and his fingers are already stroking your clit as you breath out loudly, shivering against his large form.
"Sh-h-h-h," he repeats, making you lean onto him as he moves your panties to the side, his other hand gently caressing your throat. "It's just me. I won't hurt you."
You squeeze your eyes shut, trying to at least make it seem like you find his touch repulsive. Your brain refuses to recognize the fact your boss is actually forcing you to have sex with him. Toji Fushiguro? The man who's paying your salary? The one person who's been anything but respectful to you and your colleagues? It must be a mistake. He'd never do anything like that to you, one of his favorite employees.
He does enjoy having power over you, though, given the satisfaction on his face whenever you call him "Sir" despite how outdated it seems to use this word in a business setting. He wears this strange expression every time you wholeheartedly compliment him on helping his team with something only he can do like he's some sort of your personal hero. You didn't think much of it, but now it seems like...
Oh god, he's so fucking good at fingering you bite back a moan, afraid to make a sound. He's been teasing your swollen clit so much your pussy is drenched, and your knees are trembling. What the fuck? He only just touched you.
"Feels good, huh?" He whispers in your ear as you squirm, desperately clenching the desk in front of you for support. "Wish I could eat you out right here."
"S-sir!"
Apparently, it's the only thing you can say while he fingerfucks you, his long, thick digits working your sex, his other hand lightly squeezing your throat. You grow feverish at his touch, unintentionally rubbing against his crotch as your pussy tightens around his fingers, and Toji exhales into your skin.
He doesn't give you a second to think, pumping his fingers in and out of you as if he wants you to think with you pussy, his hand on your throat squeezing it till you are a bit lightheaded, you hole growing tighter.
Everything else happens like in a dream with you cumming on his fingers before he turns your head to him and forces his tongue inside your mouth. He's magic. You still think it's wrong for him to do it to you, but it feels good, and you are far too intimidated by him to say a word against it when you feel his huge boner pressed against your ass. It feels so fucking good.
But Toji ends it there, carefully pulling your skirt down before he hands you a pack of napkins you keep on your table. When you look at him, bewildered it's ended just like that, he laughs and tells you to be a good girl and meet him tomorrow at 7. He's far from done with you.

I’ve recently been thinking on why there’s people who interpret Kuro in such a drastically different way.
And something I notice is that you can easily tell how someone experiences the series, based on what they think of the GWA.
The way you interpret the Green Witch Arc is indicative of of how you have been interpreting the story so far, and how you’ll interpret it going forward
Generally, there’s two interpretations:
1.- The Reaction Ciel had to the mustard gas, are his true feelings coming afloat
2.- The Reaction Ciel had to the mustard gas, isn’t how he feels.
The first interpretation (and I’m really not trying to be mean about it this time) comes from a very, uhm, shall I call it Teenage-Like? mindset of how pain and trauma works.
I call it Teenage-Like, because I’ve seen it in mostly literature aimed at teenagers, be it fanfics or YA. It comes from an inability for teenagers to actually voice how they feel towards their parents. A helpless feeling of being ignored.
I don’t wanna point fingers but this is the basis of a lot of Self Harm tendencies (physical, emotional, psychological, or others like EDs or digital self harm) come from. A need for people to notice you are in pain. But because you feel like you cannot voice it yourself (or don’t deserve it, it can vary) you start to lash out. Put yourself in higher risks, to have someone find out there is something wrong with you.
So the moment the main character finally breaks down, or has a moment of weakness, it’s interpreted as someone finally being truthful.
This is how Ciel’s reaction is interpreted by the first half.
The mustard gas is simply a trigger of pain, that causes all of Ciel to unravel. He’s in pain right now, cause he’s always in pain. He’s avoidant to Sebastian, cause he’s always been scared of him. He doesn’t trust him. He doesn’t trust adults. Finny is the only one who actually cares.
This makes the fact that Sebastian ,essentially, slapped him to get him to react, come off as cruel.
The boy is finally being honest, and you just tell him he’s being childish? Horrible.
Obviously, that’s not my interpretation.
Okay so, what happens once you’re not a teenager? Once you don’t have an adult figure to take care of you? What happens once you start avoiding telling your parents the pain you’re in, not because you think they won’t care, but because they’ll care too much and get worried and you don’t want them to get worried?
You start to realize pain is not the end of the world.
While, when being a teenager, getting sick meant someone gets to take care of you and maybe notice you aren’t okay, as an adult getting sick potentially means - not going to work. Which means your won’t have money to buy food, which means you’ll probably go hungry.
So getting sick becomes less of a way to get away from the responsibilities you have, and more of a burden.
That’s why you’ll see, in media aimed at adults, mental breakdown less depicted as an opportunity to be honest, and more of a sickness that needs to be healed.
You can have a more honest and truthful conversation, while you are sound of mind. There’s no power dynamic between friends, like it would with adult figures and children. So this song and dance, isn’t necessary.
You don’t have to be sick to be understood. And your friends will rather try to help you, than understand you when you’re suffering. That’s the nature of adult relationships.
This is more or less the framing that comes from Ciel’s breakdown (in the second interpretation).
The Mustard Gas isn’t showing Ciel’s true nature - it’s showing Ciel at his most vulnerable. This means, not in his sound mind.
Saying things he normally wouldn’t, hurting people he normally would hold close, and clinging to people he generally would never try to get close to.
Simply put, it isn’t just “a bit of pain to make him unravel” but a “Ciel is getting psychologically tortured by a weapon used for chemical warfare”.
He’s past being honest. He’s having such a severe reaction, that he cannot function. He’s being tortured and broken, to the point he is no longer himself.
He isn’t being “truthful” he’s scared.
And fear can make you do things that, in your sound mind, you would never do.
The point is that, Ciel isn’t saying what he truly feels or being “honest”. It’s him scared out of his mind, saying everything and anything to make the fear stop.
And the biggest proof is how he treats Sebastian.
The fact that Ciel asks Sebastian to “go away” or “not come near” is perhaps the most glaring reason as to how badly this Gas messed with him.
I’ve said this before but to Ciel, Sebastian is a lifeline. He’s the only tool he has for his revenge. The thing that, even after he lost r!Ciel, he was willing to sacrifice it all to achieve.
And at this point in time, Sebastian is also the only emotional anchor Ciel has.
As far back as the second episode, Ciel has asked Sebastian to stay. Even when he’s having flashbacks, even when he’s having an episode. In fact, Sebastian leaving him is a great source of anxiety - since as seen in BoC in the Asthma Scene, without him Ciel feels powerless enough to die.
He feels more protected with him, because he KNOWS Sebastian will protect him and that Sebastian will follow his orders.
Again going with the analogy of a dog - He feels more comfortable having the chained beast by his bed, simply bcs others are trying to hurt him and the beast won’t eat him right now.
So him asking Sebastian to go away, is throwing away his biggest safety net for a surrogate for r!Ciel, just means he’s reverting to the mentality he had during the cult.
If Sebastian is constantly telling him “it’s okay, they can’t hurt you anymore, you’re outside the cage, you can do what you WANT”
Ciel clinging to Finny is him going “no, im staying in the cage bcs at least the cage is familiar”
And no matter what the first camp tells you, staying in the cage, trapped inside your pain ISNT the healthy option.
(We could argue Ciel’s need for revenge rather than healing is also unhealthy, but no one in the second camp would even call Ciel anything other than a villain in someone else’s story)
So, Sebastian slapping him and going “no, that’s not what you want”, isn’t as cruel as it would be in the first interpretation. Because as we see, he’s right. That’s not what Ciel wants. And it’s proved by the next scene where Sebastian talks to Ciel about what he truly wants.
Rather than Sebastian telling Ciel to “get over it”, it’s closest to a “snap out of it, something’s wrong”
This is further proved by the fact that, Sebastian first instinct isn’t to scare him. He does back away, he does try to wait and gently coax him. But Ciel literally cannot reason with him.
That small but significant difference in interpretation has wildly different outcomes in how you perceive both, the characters and the story.
If you pick the first, you’re reading Sebastian as an enemy. Someone who does not respect Ciel. You see his attempt to eat Ciel’s soul as a breach of trust, and proof that he doesn’t care for him.
But if you pick the second option, you see Sebastian as an ally. Someone who’s running out of time and ways to save Ciel. His actions, while crass, ultimately help Ciel. What he was trying to do, was help.
Yana, very clearly, wanted the second interpretation. However, I cannot, in good conscience, tell you it’s the only interpretation. People are free to pick and chose how they read the text, irrelevant of how little of the actual text they’re reading.
But I will say, picking the first is symbolic of a less mature way of thinking. Common on those who like to infantilize trauma and trauma responses. It’s the easy, safe and comforting way of reading the text. As I said, it’s common in those who want their pain to be acknowledged.
That reading of Kuro is one that speak to me, that you’re not really ready to confront pain. And someone with that mentality, is not someone who’s reading of the text I find particularly interesting. Sure, you can share it, I’ll never stop you, but know you’re speaking to me in an entirely different language. You’re interpreting the text so differently, that I don’t think it’s even the same text anymore.
Again, you’re essentially writing analysis on fanfiction. And I’m not all too interested in dissecting your own trauma sloppily painted over British Aesthetic.
#kuroshitsuji#black butler#sebaciel#this is a bit less refined than both the Twitter thread i wrote and other essays#but I had to share my thoughts on this

Do you think after BruceQuest the bat kids + Oracle and Alfred (maybe or maybe not Batman)
all but blatantly cut contact with the Justice League?
Even if Batman forgives them for leaving him for dead even with all the evidence in front of them, they've still shown themselves wildly unreliable to even their own members
Unless the Justice League forces themselves into a Bat's conflict or other situation or the bats genuinely have no other option
Bats lean towards each other for help, next best thing is Young Justice or other heroes of their generation, and as last resorts, mercenaries or villains, maybe even ex-LOA members
The Justice league (including Batman if he sticks with em) are the last last resort and are the last people to learn of Bat-involved incidents, if at all
Maybe rogues outside of Ra's learns what BruceQuest was, how it ruined Red Robin's reputation irreparably and uses it to annihilate the League's PR by showing the truth to the world?
I know Mr Lex Luthor would lap that shit up
Especially if Batman is still on good terms yet Red Robin is still dealing with the aftermath years later
Everyone is pulling their hair out because Lex is doing an objectively good thing for the wrong reason and when his villainy is toppled again—
Red Robin isn't going to live his life like his repaired reputation is gonna last
Ooh. How would the Bats react to the JL post BruceQuest?
Cass, Steph, Duke, and Jason do not have a relationship or rely on the JL. Jason probably is already upset at the JL for a variety of reasons. All that would change if the batfam is Team Tim would be those batkids being colder to the JL. Maybe they also pull off pranks.
In the end, those Batkids would be the equivalent of hearing your sibling talking about their toxic workplace and hating those fuckers (who you rarely see/interact with) on principle.
For Damian? It's a toss-up. It depends on how he views Tim and the JL. If Damian wants to become Batman, he might see the JL as a necessary step for that. He might need to have several conversations with various family members and his friends (like Colin and Jon) to understand his own position and thoughts on the JL.
For Babs, I hc she helped them a lot with their systems and other work. She probably feels guilty about Tim (not believing/supporting him and his traumatizing trip he did alone). If she was also on Team Tim, she would pass all system management to Vic and maintain a slightly frosty professional distance from them. Her Birds of Prey would become aware that she helps them, but she only assists the JL in dire circumstances.
Dick would have mixed feelings about it. He kind of told other heroes that Tim wasn't to be trusted and that he was having a mental breakdown due to grief. Now, what they did with that information is not Dick's fault. They should have supported the teenager and understood that Dick was also crumbling under his grief/responsibilities. So, Dick feels conflicted. He wants to make it up to Tim, though, and probably maintains a more professional distance from JL.
Alfred is also guilty of not being there for Tim when he needed help and care. However, I like to imagine he makes very pointed comments at JL members when they visit for their direct actions in that situation.
I do think that the batkids join together to mutually say "fuck you" to the JL, but in their own ways.
Batman/Bruce is iffy. On one hand, people like to use the BruceQuest as Bruce's kick in the pants to be a better father. On the other hand, he does his whole Batman Inc shit and is in Gotham less. So, it depends on how you picture him dealing with that trauma and his relationships with his family. If he's doing the less local Batman stuff, then he's probably more with the JL (and thus not on his kids' side).
The Lex Luthor theory you have going on? Brilliant 👏

DRS2P2 spoilers
I think Nya should have some kind of breakdown in season 3
Like a full on collapse to the ground and crying type of mental breakdown because I think she really needs it. I think that on her and Kai’s journey to find Jay she gets progressively more and more on edge about what she’s going to have to do/say when she finally meets her partner again. She had spent several years without knowing where Jay was or if was even alive, she had gained a seemingly irrational fear that he would forget her and when she finally saw him, the love of her life, he not only didn’t recognise her but he outright said that he hated her without a hint of remorse. This combination of awful events must be rushing through Nya’s head constantly and eventually it’s going to get the better of her.
I think that this theoretical scene should go something like this. Kai and Nya have finally gotten solid information on Jays whereabouts, there’s nothing to get in their way and all they have to do is get to whatever specific location Jay’s in at the time. Kai is enthusiastic and in high spirits about their searches finally coming to an end, he turns to his sister with a smile and expects her to be just as happy. But she’s not. Nya looks more worried than anything and she can’t bring herself to walk any further. Kai asks what’s wrong and is met with a predictable “nothing” from Nya, but he knows better and presses her for an honest answer to which she doesn’t respond. Things ramp up and eventually Kai is trying to take her hand and get her to move before he notices something, tears are forming in her eyes. There’s a moment of silence before Kai asks her what’s wrong, his tone softer than before. Nya finally breaks her silence and shakily admits to being afraid, afraid of what she might see when she meets Jay, afraid of what he’ll do, afraid that if she is forced to fight him again she might have to not hold back, afraid of what damage he’ll do to himself just to gain power, but most of all she’s afraid of hearing him say “I hate you” again. She admits that jay’s final words to her have been at the forefront of her mind for a while now and that they haunt her constantly. By now she’s fully crying and Kai is hugging her tight, he tries to soothe her but it’s clear that this moment was a long time coming and no words of comfort will stop it, Nya needs to express this, and it has work itself out naturally.
That’s more or less what I think should happen. And while I’m fully aware that it won’t happen in this exact format I do really believe that the show should explore something like this. Lloyd has dealt with panic attacks in season two and they were handled really well, so I just think that Nya should get some similar treatment.

Book Club conversation
I'm part of a small book club that gets together once per quarter. It's mostly LDS men, and the one requirement is these need to be manly books. Trust me, I rolled my eyes at the idea "manly" books.
We've met 4 times, the first book was about an athletic team, one was about World War II, and one was a story of pirates. The book we discussed yesterday was "Them: Why We Hate Each Other--and How to Heal" by Ben Sasse.
It was generally good, it had some interesting ideas. Basically it's a former senator writing about the breakdown of community in the United States, the reasons for it, and working to come back together.
At the end of the night, some of the participants told me I gave them a different viewpoint to consider.
The first was about social media, which Ben Sasse generally pans as making us feel like we're connected but actually these are very shallow interactions. Plus, social media generally isn't good for mental health as we compare ourselves to others who are posting about the best parts of their life, and it also gives us metrics like number of followers, likes, comments, and so on, that we can use to determine how popular we are compared to others. We should log out of social media and instead spend time with the small pool of people around us in order to build deeper relationships
I commented that social media was an important source of connection for me as a single individual during the COVID lockdown and for the 9 months I was homebound by a health issue. While there are studies showing there are negative mental-health effects for teenagers, studies also show the reverse for LGBTQ teens. For them, social media is a way to find other queer people who understand their experience and helps them build hope in their future, they don't feel so isolated. Plus, I have several good friends who I met via social media, they're all LGBTQ+, which underlines the point about the benefit of social media for queer people.
The second viewpoint was about politics and elections. Given we were discussing a book by a former Republican senator, and the presidential race ended just over a week ago, politics and elections came up. One man said that during his life he has rarely voted. He served in the military and knew he would continue serving no matter who won the White House. America is mostly the same no matter who wins.
I replied that I experience politics and elections differently from him and the others in the room. While they feel secure in their "certain unalienable rights" as the Constitution calls them, LGBTQ people are regular discussed and voted on and it is very uncomfortable. The "rights" that they enjoy are still fairly new for me. It was only four years ago that it became illegal to fire someone simply for finding out they're gay or trans. It's been less than 10 years since my friends could get married. Elections can feel scary because the results carry consequences for LGBTQ people.
Being present, sharing our thoughts and feelings, sharing our stories, that is how hearts and minds get changed.

Hello there! It's good to be back, didn't expect to be gone for like I think two whole weeks or three but oh well and hmm! Let's see if you're right about that! I love him a lot and he is, in fact my darling but I do have a trait in me that he would dislike (greatly, even.)
Silas:
Male Yandere characters [most to least]
Pros — Obedient ((just like you, I'm also terrified.)) a introvert and likes to be in my room 24/7 .. would enjoy being in his house more if provided an art room, also I hate being in pain too and I think I'd have a heart attack if I ever tried to escape.
Cons — I have anger issues and get overwhelmed easily+ other mental health problems like my BPD, I might split on him [ a term where people with BPD can only see white ((good)) or black ((bad)) and not in the grayish area or the in-between of good and bad.)) and that probably might anger him and be sent to the basement ☠️ and I hate pain so much so I'd probably get a mental breakdown and start cursing at him —
Dr Kry: ((suprised he's second?? Unless..))
Pros — I have a lot of similarities with him > loves cooking, gardening, light exercise, reading books and because he's a doctor and my dream job is to be a psychiatrist, I would probably rant to him about the things I've studied and accomplished with my major.
Cons — unless he's giving my break a body and be able to do house chores for some entertainment and stimulation, I am extremely defiant and I don't like really like someone treating me like a hopeless, dumb doll. I don't consider myself smart but I don't wanna be treated like I'm some dumb guy 😭 I'd only love him truly if he doesn't continue poisoning me and treating me like a naive, hopeless doll.
Would still love him, from afar that is, anyone being his darling and being defiant, just goodluck to y'all 😭
King Edmund: [ platonic ]
Pros — you mentioned her shows more of his human side and is less yandere-ish with male readers, I suppose that's the con, interested in his kingdoms history and I guess... We could possibly be friends?? However,
Cons — I am terrified of him. I don't know if it's any different with male readers but if he ends up killing someone because of me, I would consider my friendship with him. I do not wanna be friends with an unstable guy 😭
If he doesn't, well.. when he gets a wife, I'll probably guide him with his relationship and if that gets me killed, could be the best ending because would he even let go of a male reader??😭 Unsure, I don't really read his stories as often as the other male characters
Female characters [ most to least , also platonic since I'm attracted to men. ]
Hedwig:
Pros — I feel like I'd be the safest with her out of all yanderes, I would love being spoiled by her ((I'll likely get uncomfortable at first but would get used to it.)) and having a friend around with me
Cons — my social battery tends to drain easily and with how clingy she is, it'll drain me more. I also hate prioritizing other people when my social battery is this low unless it's urgent/important (like me being concerned for a friend or so due to several reasons like mental health or my job.) so if I was forced to put my attention towards her, I would get really annoyed and be a bit more forward.
Jerry:
Cons — ...I don't think there's any pros for me, in fact, she's the one I actually fear the most. I wonder if she'd treat me differently if she knows I'm trans, as in ftm, like treating me softer compared to cis guys because I understand being a woman is hard.. especially the periods, god. Her aggressive humors scares me, a lot and if she shows me what she does while working, I wouldn't take it well and disassociate and if I were to form some unhealthy attachment with her or at least a bond, my BPD would get triggered due to how she shows her love and I would split on her 24/7 thinking she hates me and wants me dead.
Well, that took quite the time to write. Let me know if you need more information on BPD, I don't think I wrote it well, it's... 4 am for me and my eyes are as dry as the sahara dessert. I need to use my glasses more when I'm not going out somewhere.
—🌊
I am surprised that he is second not going to lie lmao, i really thought that he would be your number one!
it's so interesting to read and see how different people fit the different yanderes since Y/N is more of their own character rather than ourselves haha, it puts things in another perspective! I liked to read this <3333
Edmund isn't less yandere with men, just in a friend way. Like "you are my friend only I will not share you with anyone else, you can only have me as your best friend" and will not accept his best friend spending time with anyone but him, wanting Edmund to be his only friend, kind of thing. He is just as controlling, just as entitled. Be sure that Edmund wouldn't kill any darling, platonic or romantic! You will stay with him until the end of time because you are the only one that knows his real side :D
As for Jerry, I can say that she is the number one OC when it comes to trans/nonbinary etc things. She is the least judging, most understanding. She would most likely treat you like she treats all guys so be prepared for some sudden playfights :D

Stressful Day Off- Graham Coxon x Reader
had major writers block while writing this 😭
lowercase intended
warnings: smut
summary: you’re at home trying to finish late work when your mind gets infested by your boyfriend. what will you do?
i sat at my desk, scribbling down on papers stacked on papers. i let out at huff of annoyance, irritation crossing and filling my entire brain. i just started this work and it was barely 10am, i wished i had this day off but if i didn’t get to this work then i’d be behind even more.
“y/n?” i hear my boyfriend’s morning voice call out.
“in here love!” i call back.
soon enough i hear the door creak open and eventually feel his hands massage my shoulders. my eyes flutter shut at the contact, a must need stress reliever.
“it’s barely 10, love. why are you working?” he asks.
“if i don’t then i’ll be way behind and i’ll have a breakdown, i’m pretty sure no one wants to see that.” i laugh, turning to look at him.
“want me to make you tea?”
“yes please.” i smile softly.
he releases his hands from my shoulders, giving me a kiss on top my head before leaving to the kitchen. i return back to my work, the thought of his hands occupying my mind causing me to mess up frequently. i’m even more stressed now that he’s intoxicated my mind. in the midst of my frantic working, he crept back in with two mugs of tea. him placing one on the desk caught my attention, making me look up at him.
“thank you gra.” i purse my lips for a kiss to which he gladly gives.
“love you.” i mumble on his lips.
“love you more.” he replies before pulling away.
he goes to sit on the sofa with his warm cup of tea and book in hand. just great, having him near me isn’t gonna help with my graham infested mind. i tried working but i kept thinking of him, my tea already gulped down within minutes. more and more minutes have passed before i eventually give up.
“damn it graham!” i slam my pencil onto the desk, causing him to harshly jump at my outburst.
“w-what?” his face looked terrified.
my angry features soften at the sight, guilt filling me instantly. i get up and make my way to him, the couch dipping as i sit next to him.
“sorry i scared you, my love. it’s just i-“ i sigh out in frustration.
he set his book down and grabbed onto my hands.
“what’s wrong, dear?”
“i want you badly.” i blurted out.
his face contorted into shock as a blush crept onto his face.
“you what?” he sounded dumbfounded.
“your hands…your presence…i need you badly.”
he opened his mouth to speak but was at a loss for words. he quickly moved to grab his tea and gulped it down, like he’s severely dehydrated. i watched as some tea dribbled down his chin and his neck. i impulsively went to lick it up, his movements coming to a halt. his hand went to my hair and grabbed onto it as i continued to lick and suck his tea drenched skin. i heard the mug clink as he set it down, making my body move to straddle him like it was conditioned to the sound. his hands flew to my hips and squeezed as i continued the abuse on his neck. i knew i was leaving hickies but i could care less, he could care less. he’s told me before how he loves when i mark him, showing every girl out there that i’m his and he’s mine. i mentally fight myself as i was torn between foreplay or just getting to the point. i made my mind up as soon as i heard him moan out once i found his sweet spot. my hands were quick to fumble with the hem of his sweater, eventually lifting it off him. i discarded it to wherever before finally kissing his sweet lips. i tasted the tea again, the savory taste making my tastebuds water. his hands shyly tug at my shirt, signaling me to take it off as well. i listen to his silent request and easily slide the shirt off my body, exposing my bare breasts. every time he sees my boobs, it’s like he undergoes a spell. and i mean every time. he dips his head down to press soft and gentle kisses, goosebumps spreading all over my body. i let him continue his affection for my chest as my hand struggles to slip down his sweats, palming his erection. he moaned against me, the vibrations tickling my skin. i stand up from him, a small whine of disappointment leaving his already plump lips. i watch his eyes watch me as i slowly and seductively slide off my shorts, no underwear present. his eyes widen at my choice, hunger and lust flooding his brown eyes. it was his turn to be needy since he grabbed me and sat me down again, instantly connecting our lips. we practically devoured one another, hands feeling every inch that we could. he sneakily took out his hard cock, pumping it a few times before slipping it inside me. i gasp out at the suddenness of being filled. no warning of any sort as he didn’t hesitate to thrust. his hands on my hips while his mouth was all over my neck and chest. moments where graham took control filled my stomach with major butterflies. i gripped the back of the couch causing my knuckles to turn white.
“fuck…graham…” i softly moan, the immense pleasure already being too much.
he was like an animal, a side i’ve never seen before but i liked it. i moved my hands to his shoulders, digging my fingernails into the soft skin. that seemed to fuel him even more, including my moans, since he picked up the pace. one hand left my hip and went to my face, forcing me to look at him, look at his now black eyes. they were so dark, i loved it. he connected our lips again, his hand flying to my boobs. he pinched and squeezed and did whatever he can to my boobs. his “dominant” side didn’t hide the fact that he still moaned and whined, whimpered and cried out as i squeeze him. i felt his hips stutter, breaking the rhythm that he’d created. he bit my bottom lip here and there, hand squeezing my probably bruised hips.
“i’m close, baby…” i finally hear him say.
i was waiting for those words, now saying the same to him. after confirming i’m near too, he went faster and harder. the lewd sound of skin slapping filled this quiet room, the quiet apartment. we’d never fucked like this before, not even when he got back from tour.
“fuck y/n, please…i’m gonna-“ he cut himself off as a loud moan escaped his open mouth.
i watched as his eyes squeezed shut, jaw dropped, sweat beading at his forehead making his hair wet. feeling his hot cum inside me triggered my body shattering orgasm. my eyes also squeezed shut, gasping as i clenched over and over. he lazily watched me cum all over him, a smile proudly on his face. he did that. he made me like this. i slumped on him, our sweaty skin feeling uncomfortable.
“jeez, where’d the graham i know go?” i joke, sitting up.
“i-i have no clue, love. but i enjoyed every bit of it.” he sucked in his bottom lip, an everyday thing he does that i love.
“you’re so pretty.” i play with his sweaty hair.
he looked down and blushed, a sweet chuckle erupting from him.
“would the pretty boy like to sit with me as i work?”
he looks up at me through his eyelashes, a shy nod being his answer. i get up and off him, soreness exploding throughout my body but i fight it. i hold out my hand, his soft hand taking it as i lead us to my previous spot. i sat him down, a confused look on his face that changed once i sat down on his lap, inserting his dick in my sore pussy.
“you’ll earn your round 2 once i’m done. no funny business. understood?”
“yes…yes..” he moans out.
i smile to myself as i went back to work. a eager graham trying to obey me while struggling to contain himself. this’ll be a fun day off.

HELLO AND @veeeffvee THANKS AGAIN FOR INSPIRATION. I LIKED YOUR GHOST FAN FUSIONS SM SO I DECIDED TO DRAW ONE. QUITE A LOT???
I even gave him a name
✨Shuffle✨
I love Chris and Kennith so much so. yeah I gave them and their fusion much info and headcanons. hope you enjoy it
let's get started
✨Shuffle✨ is the fusion of Christopher and Kennith
He loves TV shows, design, music, gothic architecture, and smashing mirrors and faces of his bullies with a metal bat.
He has a pink metal bat, a microphone and a megaphone (I thought that would be a good mix of Chris and Kenny's stuff).
Shuff is quite a joyful and cheerful fusion. Easy-going, big hearted and broad minded, but tricky if he has any intention. Usually he doesn't carry violence first— only as a defense. During self-defense, he becomes ruthless since he doesn't feel sorry for the aggressors— he will attack and move on as if nothing happened.
Shuffle is rather less (passive-)aggressive and less impulsive than Christopher but he is much more brave and sharper than Kennith.
From Christopher, the fusion has a pronounced theatricality and mannerism— it won't be difficult for him to make the right impression and play out the right emotion. The only difference is that Shuff is actually able to feel emotions unlike Chris. The latter has a long way to develop and express his emotions.
From Kennith, Shuff has a vision of the world as an opportunity to turn any of his ideas into reality. Shuff is not shy at all about experimenting with many things— the eccentricity comes entirely from Kennith.
Kennith himself is a simple boy, he is very sincere. Thus the fusion is very communicative, talkative and has zero hesitation. Similarly with Christopher— this goes well with independence from the opinions of others and the ability to protect himself.
The main difference between Shuff and both of them is that he has a basic trust in the world, although that sounds like a paradox.
Shuffle doesn't mind doing anything active and social. However, Shuff will never do what might be annoying for one of his halves. Kennith dislikes to be watched by a crowd, and Christopher can't stand to be idle, either. Therefore, we find a compromise and something in between.
Shuffle is independent from his creators, he has his own will, his own personality and own hobbies. He is not just an appendage of Chris and Kennith. Although Shuff is very impressionable and sometimes not the most stable, especially in the case of a mental breakdown of one of his halves (often Kennith).
~Headcanons~
▷ Christopher is 190 cm (6'3") tall. Kennith is 165 cm (5'5") tall. Shuffle is 267 cm (8.76), very tall fusion
▷ Christopher plays in the theater. Kennith is passionate about technology and works in a modest electronics store (he graduated from high school and gave himself a couple of years to save money for college). Shuffle has skills in both of these areas but he isn't such a fan of electronics. He prefers social and active work
▷ Christopher is still able to transform into his shadow (distortionist) form or simply summon dark arms from his back. Shuffle can do that too :))) and this is the best feeling for Kennith in the fusion, and outside of it too, hugging and cuddling with six arms is great
▷ Crispy's sharp tongue and his perception greatly affects Kennith both in the relationship and inside of the fusion. Learning self-defense and reflecting back on himself, so to say
▷ His pronouns— Shuffle uses both 'I/me' and 'we/us' depending on his mood
▷ Shuffle has scars on his body. On his hips and arms most of all, the wrists, forearms and elbows are covered with striped scars. But Shuff doesn't have burn scars— he is afraid of fires
▷ Shuff looks at his scars with severe sadness. The scars are a reminder of his most difficult time when everyone was against him (Kennith, honey, all these b!tches will burn in hell which you will set up for them together with Chris). Shuff felt how helpless Kennith was during that time, and feels bitter that he couldn't help him
▷ Shuffle likes to wear colorful socks
▷ Shuffle likes to crunch his fingers and all bones
▷ If you think about their relationship, Christopher felt very bad about Kennith's scars. Usually a sense of justice only works towards Crispy, but he was surprised when he felt the same towards Kenny. Chris is of the same sexuality as him, and he would have smashed all who disagreed, to pieces with a metal bat. Also Christopher taught Kennith how to use a bat don't change my mind
▷ If Chris acts on a momentary decision, Shuff thinks about his feelings here and now. That is, first he feels, and then decides. Chris lacks empathy (which he began to develop in the relationship), but Shuff has enough of it, especially for himself
▷ Shuff knows how to be cheeky, this is both toxic from Chris and hostility to the world from Kenny
▷ Shuff drinks a barrel of wine at once. He doesn't get drunk at all
▷ Yes, Christopher loves red semi-sweet wine
▷ The first time Chris and Kennith fused, Shuffle was unstable and had a slightly different design. For example, unstable Shuff had pink hair with parts of white and chaotic mixed clothing from both members

Last meme post and better call saul?
NICE
The first character I fell in love with: Hm, I don't remember! Maybe Kim? It took me a little bit to warm up to Jimmy because I actually did not like Saul in BrBa (I didn't like how he spoke to women).
The character who is my ‘baby’: That said Jimmy is now my lil guy. (I can't possibly say Kim, she would hate me for it. That woman is many things but she is not Baby.)
The character who I do not understand: I don't understand why Werner thought it was remotely a good idea to do Any Of That. Like, sorry, sucks that he died, but that was fully on him.
The character that I think the show ruined: Okay, I wouldn't say his character was 'ruined', I like some of what the show did with him, but I do ultimately think Mike did not really work as a main character in BCS and I came out of the show liking him less. He's better in small doses and when he's judging Walt.
The most attractive male and female character: Nacho and Kim are both so pretty! Though Lalo is also very pretty.
The character death that was the worst for me: I think Chuck's, even though I liked Nacho much more -- I have OCD and watching Chuck have a very OCD-reminiscent breakdown (I suspect his mental illness is actually a very severe case of OCD) where he tears apart his whole house before killing himself was just. So brutal. Good writing, but brutal.
The character that is the most like me: Um...Tuco because I love my grandma??? I don't really relate to most of these people lol.
The character I think the writer(s) love: I think they really loved Kim and Lalo. As they should.
The character that I just want to be happy: Nacho 😞 my little blue desert flower... Also Ernesto and Irene. I hope they're doing all right.
My four favorite characters, past or present: Kim Wexler, Nacho Varga, Lalo Salamanca, Jimmy McGill
My four least favorite characters, past or present: Werner Ziegler (sorry I hated the superlab plotline and his death was sooo telegraphed), Hector Salamanca who kind of just plain sucks, Kai I guess was annoying, and.....kind of Chuck McGill but it's complicated idk I feel very bad for him he's a very tragic character but he does also make me very angry a lot. I don't even know if he belongs on this list but also maybe he does actually...who can say.
#oh better call saul i miss u every day...#cauldronofmorning#the road has good choices and it has bad choices

My little review of the Fallout tv show season 1. *SPOILERS BELOW CUT*
Okay so, I finally finished the show and omg it was amazing. It was fun and had a lot of references and poked some fun at the players who complained ( The radio show with the minutemen music). It was nice and I enjoyed it.
Section 1 review -The characters-
So the characters were fleshed out and fun, I enjoyed their designs, personalities, and history. The most fleshed out was probably The Ghoul AKA Cooper Howard. Which works because he is pre-war, and that was nice to have to give us a little tell of what pre-war was like. Though I would have loved to see more of it and the more mundane side. Like the average persons life during pre-war, or someone who was severely struggling. Maybe for next season? Anyways, he was fun and interesting. His design was very fun, like who doesn't like a cowboy? Then his personality is pretty complex yet also quite simple, he is an actor which makes that complexity of him as I can't really grasp his thoughts and actions completely. He is a character I understand yet also don't it is very confusing. Then again it was probably also because I could hardly understand him half the time because of the accent and the fact there was no subtitles and the ambient sound was loud as hell, as well as the fact that we didn't really get to see too much of him postwar in the same way we saw the other two (three? if you count Lucy's brother) main characters. If that makes sense...idk.
Any who, Lucy MacLean was amazing and adorable loved her so much. She was in my opinion the best vault dweller rep, though she seemed too stable. For someone from a vault she was very calm and seemed to handle violence well. Like we saw no apprehension in her actions and she was very optimistic no matter what. And I know that people can be like that okay! But for someone from a vault that never seemed to at least have violence she was way too calm. I was honestly expecting her to have a mental breakdown at one point or something similar, like she has seen so much and almost died so many times. I also see the naivety that she has but that doesn't really excuse the fact that she brushes off things so easily. Yet even so I really like her, she is fun and adorable. I just wish we got a more "accurate" version of someone who has never seen the horrors of the waste, especially since for most of it she had no companion to make her feel safe and keep up such a optimistic naivety. Though even so it kinda works considering how the vault dwellers of the games are?
Now Maximus was fun, I loved him but he was less developed than the other two. He had his goals but we missed a lot of the bonding that he had with Lucy and Thaddeus, and how/why their companionship changed him and his goals. Like I know it is there but it wasn't really shown, we know that he likes Lucy and he was hoping to be friends with Thaddeus but we don't really see the whole picture of why. We don't see the growth of it which really sucks because it could have been really fun so long as they do it properly. Then his backstory is still mostly unknown, like what was his childhood like before the Brotherhood? What was Shady Sands really like? But he was still a decent character. His motives were pretty clear and simple and he is what you would expect from someone brainwashed by the brotherhood, someone who was also disrespected by the brotherhood. Not much to really say and I hope we have him more fleshed out soon. Sucks my review of his character is so short because I really like him and his little cute romance with Lucy.
So overall I feel that the characters were fun and nice, great designs, nice voices, decently made, etc. but they were unfortunately a little rushed in some aspects making them less developed and rounded of characters, but then again it is a series and we have time skips in it so it kinda explains why that is.
-------------------------------------
Section 2 review -The costumes/designs-
Loved how everyone looked. The costumes were really nice and fun, love how ghouls looked like ghouls although a little too pretty still honestly. Would have loved to see some ghoul designs from the other games instead of well the fallout 4 style. But they looked good and pretty real in some sense. I do wish that we got to see more ghouls that haven't gone or were going feral and I think that they did some interesting things with them (i'll talk more about it further down)
The power armour was awesome, loved to see how they would work in "real life" and it is what I expected and how I think the PA frames work (I have my own little ideas of the power armour variants one being PA frames that we see in fallout 4 and TV show, and the other from games past that Fallout 1, 2, 3 and New Vegas).
I also enjoyed that wasters and raiders looked, well like how they should. I do wish that we got to see more of them but it was pretty awesome either way.
Then the sets were beautiful, would have love to see more wild life though, missed opportunity there but it is okay since its literally the desert. Hopefully we'll see some more creatures, and I was really expecting to see some scorpions as that land is perfect for them. Do wish that we could see more locations though, especially more with story telling just in the way they are decorated. Not much else to say about it all, other than I liked it and it everywhere felt like a wasteland.
------------------------
Section 3 review -Lore-
Whoo boy, now the lore here is...okay. It is in line (mostly) with cannon and what I expected.
-Confliction with New Vegas :/
2296 that is the year it takes place, and it seems okay. But the brotherhood is strong which is weird considering that the brotherhood over west were either destroyed based off of Fallout New Vegas many endings, and because they are there that means that the independent ending might of occurred letting the brotherhood stay alive. Which then means that in Fallout 4 the brotherhood was not destroyed over there based off of the endings though you can make almost every faction not kill each other with the minutemen. Why did I come to this conclusion, well because they have a sister prydwen. That is labeled the prydwen despite having a different name..Oh and the T-60's being used also hint to that in some way. Which means that the west and east coast brotherhood most likely absorbed into each other. Complete speculation though but that is what I am seeing here. Either way the TV show does conflict with New Vegas in that spectrum. It also conflicts with the fact that the NCR's Shady sands fell in 2277 and blew up exactly when Fallout 3 takes place. (Or seemingly anyways based on the diagram which is hard to really know if it was 2277 or if that date was the decline and it exploded later, yet even so it also works because the NCR was in decline during New Vegas so Shady sands getting destroyed isn't the most outrageous thing.)
So that makes New Vegas's lore iffy in cannon if the TV show is to be correct and considered cannon, which then can also makes certain things cannon from fallout 4 because of how it mixes with New Vegas's lore and the TV shows lore. I know I don't really make much sense but I hope you can understand? This is mostly me just trying to fit the puzzle pieces of lore together when they don't really fit, and well just trying to concur what is most likely cannon because of the conflictions. (Not like we have an actual answer on what the cannon endings for fallout 4 and New Vegas are).
---
Then I do kinda find the drug that ghouls use to no become feral interesting, we never do learn how it is exactly made but it is cool. Unfortunately because of it's existence and the lack of it being in any game over west or ever having managed to get over east makes it a little odd. Plus it was made a long time ago too because Cooper needed it to help prevent him from going feral, otherwise he wouldn't be in the show. But luckily this drug is something in the lore we can kind of mix in well with just an explanation that it existed but we just never saw it because reasons, and the fact that we never actually really played as a ghoul character.
Then the new drugs that witch dude had was interesting and I am curious if Thaddeus will actually turn into a ghoul or if he just has some sort of cool healing ability now. Cause I could have some fun with that drug for writing and I need answers on if he's now a ghoul because of it and subsequently, how the hell ghouls seemingly can't feel any pain (Cooper shrugging off bullets and his finger getting ripped off), how ghouls seemingly heal so quickly and seem to only be killed by a full on headshot.
OOh then Vault tec being that ones who dropped the bombs is actually something I already knew. So I don't know where or when or how I actually learnt this but I did. I knew that Vault tec was the ones who dropped the bombs, they armed and launched them to both the US and China, thus making the two countries drop more bombs in retaliation the other countries who were allied also following suit (most likely anyways). Now the reason why this works and why I feel that it is okay that Beth decided to tell us who started it, is simply because of one of the main message of Fallout in general (though I will say that this main message is not the only one, and it is a warning to the world.).
There are no winners, there are no losers. War is a dangerous thing, with no good ending. People die in war, people suffer in war. We all lose in war. Humanity suffers. War is not something good, it is never something good, many know this. Yet humans seemingly can't help but want that destruction. Those full of greed push it, create problems as they take and take. Greed from those who already have it all, yet they can't help but want more. Fallout in its core is the danger of greed, the danger of history. How history repeats, how war never changes. How people all want to save the world but can't agree on how. How we all can't help but rush towards destruction, whether we want to or not. Fallout is the message of danger of the human nature, the danger of letting greed corrupt, the danger of everything.
This is why I feel that Vault tec being the ones to press that big red button works. They are greed in itself. They are what Fallout warns us. They don't care what happens because they want it all. And it is not just Vault tec that is the one to do this, they are simply the ones who are put on that spot light. In the shadows are corrupt people like the Enclave who use those with so much greed to allow their greed to flow as well. Like how the Brotherhood takes and takes hoarding the tech and killing anyone in their path. How Caesar's legion took over land that don't belong to them to make things better. How the NCR try and re-create the old world. How the institute wants to purify the commonwealth by destroying it and replacing it. How factions all have their own way of fixing things, yet all fall into that same trap one way or another.
Don't know if that made sense but yeah!
Oh yeah guess what! My vault is cannon (not actually), in the scene where Vault tec shows off the vaults, you can see little America (Canada) has some vaults and with a good look at the map (or probably I'm basically blind), I could see that in/near the Rockies that there is a vault there. Near the border just like my Vault 21-B. I was so happy that there was a vault there even if it ain't my actual vault but heyyyy look at that eh? (lol) It's funny that I managed to create my own vault where one is actually located (well I'm pretty sure it is anyways), same with the other vaults that are up there, I managed to actually get the general location of them which are my hot spots of Canada (they are not in the exact spots though). BTW the hot spots are areas with vaults and habitual locations that aren't covered in snow. I decided on their locations based on the warmth of the coasts, and if they had large bodies of water nearby, and then if they were very populated areas.
(edit) Turns out I am blind and there is only one vault up there :( (Well luckily it gives me some more freedom in my own Fallout, plus Vault 21-B was supposed to be mostly if not completely a secret anyways soo.)
Anyways that's my review, very odd, very scattered and not really a review but shhhhh. It's okay because I enjoyed it and hope to see more, and hopefully it'll be even better. Sorry for how long this is BTW.

Drop Shot (1996) (Miron Bolitar series 2)
In the second book, Myron's got a new client, a young tennis player called Duane Richwood. In the opening scene, Myron and Win are watching him play in US Open, while playing their usual game of Name the Batman Criminat.
He gets a phone call from his associate, Esperanza, who gives him several messages regarding other clients, and mentions that Valerie Simpson has called three times. Valerie is not Myron's client, but she has asked him to represent her. She used to be a something of a genius tennis player when she was barely 16, but after that rapidly went down hill, with a rumor of mental breakdown.
While Myron was pondering on this still in the box at US Open, suddenly a gunshot sounded. With some secret work with the FBI in their background, both Myron and Win react quickly, and run towards where it came from. They find that it was Valerie Simpson, who had come to find Myron, shot dead.
Myron had no tangible relation with her - she was not his client yet. But he cannot just let it go.
‘You’re making that face,’ Win said.
‘What face?’
‘The I-want-to-help-the-world face,’ Win said. ‘She wasn’t a client.’
‘She was going to be.’
‘A large distinction. Her fate does not concern you.’
‘She called me three times today,’ Myron said. ‘When she couldn’t reach me, she showed up at the tennis center. And then she was gunned down.’
‘A sad tale,’ Win said. ‘But one that does not concern you.’
It is what Myron does and Win expects nothing less. It actually turns out Win knew Valerie and he was the one who had sent her to him when she decided to play tennis again.
With help by Win and Esperanza, Myron follows complicated leads carefully, until he uncovers surprising truth.
-----------------------
Again there are some bad people trying to intimidate Myron, including the big gangster Frank Ache. Myron can look after himself against 'normal' people but where there are many, armed, he gets into trouble. But Win is always there to save him.
Win's character is quite remarkable. He is a vigilante type, and has absolutely zero hesitation in hurting/killing people he thinks are vermins. Exterminate. And he enjoys the process.
When he saves Myron's girlfriend from three very violent people, he kills them all with a gun with doctored bullets, blowing off their heads. Then,
The big man fell to the ground. Win walked over and studied the still figure, tilting his head from side to side like a dog hearing a strange sound.
Jessica watched him in silence.
‘Are you okay?’ he asked.
‘Yes.’
Win continued to look down. He shook his head and made a tsk, tsk noise.
‘What is it?’ she asked.
Win turned to her, an almost shy smile toying with his lips. He gave a half-shrug. ‘I guess I’m not much for fair fights.’
He looked back down at the body and started to laugh.
Myron, having been his best friend for about 15 years, since they met at Duke as freshmen and subsequently spent 4 years there as roommates, knows this about Win. He doesn't criticise his friend in front of other people, but sometimes tries to stop him.
Myron has a 'normal' sense of moral, emotions, empathy, etc., and finds Win's lack of compassion for people disturbing.
Win, on the other hand, has the awareness that he and Myron have fundamentally different outtakes on life, but that does not stop him from loving his best friend.
Win took another putt. Another make. ‘We’re not the same, you and I. We both know that. But it’s okay.’
‘It’s not okay.’
‘Yes, it is. If we were the same it wouldn’t work. We’d both be dead by now. Or insane. We balance each other. It’s why you’re my best friend. It’s why I love you.’
In the 1990s when this book came out, Myron came across as normal and Win quite ... different. But in 2024, the way Myron tries to push his standards on Win seems wrong. (Obviously, vigilante should not be encouraged, but Win being detached from romance is not something that should be changed or pitied.)

Scarlet and cherry for the red questions thing! Sorry is you answered them already
SCARLET - How do they grieve?
CHERRY - Why did you create them?
Ooh! These will be fun! Thank you so much for the Ask @darkandstormydolls
I haven't answered these yet! Thx for asking!
For how they grieve! You'll actually get to see many of these processes in the actual books!
Marril - He files away his emotions and beats himself and other things up about it, shoving his anger down until it all gets to be too much and he explodes, which happens quite a bit with characters in story. He gets super mad. Probably breaks something, hurts someone, or shouts at someone and then starts crying his mentality is: if I'm not dead I'm fine
Shyre - She cries a lot and runs to her family and friends for comfort, trying to get through it by therapy and love, it works best for her. Her mentality is: Loved ones come first
Sokuna - She lashes out at anything she can without hurting her family or friends. She holds them close and plans vengeance. Her mentality is: My faughter's safety comes before anything
Viasaki - He isolates himself and throws himself into his work, losing himself in it because he can't think if his mind is occupied with other things. His mentality is: Work and loyalty are the only things that matter
Kila - She lashes out at everything, violence, arguments, breakdowns, bargaining, denial, anger. Her mentality is: It can't hurt me if I kill it first
Kasi - She isolates herself and watches others from afar, going to people who she trusts but doesn't know very well for help so that she won't hurt anyone she loves with her grief. Her mentality is: If I can protect them, not matter what, I will
Chrin - He keeps how hurt he truly is. But talks though things with people he trusts and paints a better future in his head with his visions, showing how he can't always stay in the past. His mentality is: If there's a better future for them, I will find it
Xhaazi - Just like Marril, he internalizes everything, not trusting people enough to let them know he's hurt. He argues with people and that's how he relieves that anger, in slower, more controlled portions so it doesn't overflow. His mentality is: If Kasi's fine, so am I
Now how I created them?
This one's fun.
Kasi: I made her as a model main character, planning to add other things to make her less stereotypical, but I got lazy and was like: I like stereotypes most times, why not have a stereotypical hero?
Marril: I wanted an antihero/antagonist who was a sassy Assassin who eventually ends up helping the protagonists, unintentionally or intentionally. Inspired by several other fictional Assassins
After That Chrin was next: A lot of heroes in media have a best friend, and for my anger issues and distrust riddled protagonist I needed a sunny foil, so Chrin was born, though him being a seer was a later addition
Viasaki came soon after: I needed a real villain of high rank with some drama, how about voices in his head? Why not? Why not make him good cop?
Kila and Viasaki were a pair: because who can have a good cop without a bad one? She's temperamental and moody, and she hates him.
After that, Mouse: I actually made her before Sokuna and Reon because we need a good shade. She was originally a sidekick to the third missing protagonist who I scrapped. But I liked Mouse so I kept her
Sokuna: She was originally a background character just to explain who Mouse's parents were, but I wrote her and Reon in one fight scene and I knew I had to make them important, then I decided to separate them >:]
Xhaazi: He was the replacement for the missing 3rd protagonist, and Kasi didn't feel like an only child to me. Then came the genius. What about cursed twins? So I gave Kasi a prankster twin brother.

spam headcannons featuring clickstopher >:)
spamton dyeing his hair was an entirely impulsive decision. he was in the middle of a mental breakdown and just ran over to the nearest convenience store, bought cheap black box dye, and was sobbing during the entire process, thinking he was ruining his hair. afterwards it worked out because he actually really liked it <3
this one has some canon base in it, but i just have the feeling he's a really good mechanic and loves cars, more than any other addison. he doesn't use these skills to further himself though because of his determination to stay in sales, but he can tell you what's wrong with your car with a glance and fix it in five minutes. also, his vocal tics get the slightest bit clearer when talking about them because he's really passionate about it
speaking of cars, he's a totally manic driver. he is the reason we have defensive driving. he always speeds up when there is a yellow light. he drives on the wrong side of the highway when there's traffic. he is the type of guy to say "how much signal i need to cut across 8 lanes, none?" he never gets into car accidents though he just gives heart attacks to all his passengers. i feel like his glitches could actually work in his favor here and clip him out of danger or crashes.
despite being the biggest advocate of forgetting spamton entirely, clicks went to therapy once to try and process his disappearance. when the therapist questioned why he was feeling bad over someone he claimed he hated, clicks got mad and never went back
if it hadn't been spamton, clicks was the second possible candidate to becoming mike's vessel
spam used to be a smoker, but would never do it in front of the other addisons n case they thought less of him for it. once mike started to take more and more control, spam ended up smoking a pack a day. he had to quit after getting kicked out of the mansion because he didn't have any money to afford them, so the first few weeks was especially tough just for getting rid of a nicotine addiction.
HELL ya
oh i'm HERE for these <3
i'm adding on to the impulsive hair dyeing because i love this headcanon so much ty for bringing it to the table omg ok like maybe it was a VERY rough night at their typical addison meetup, and everyone else was at the highest they've been, flourishing in their sales, and when it came to him, he froze up and stammered out a lie that was just so OBVIOUSLY a lie, he couldn't even deny they knew by their reactions. But he had to play it off, out of embarrassment. I'd feel like he'd really look up to Swatch who's pretty well known among cyber city, and his imitation of them starts early, as thoughts ran through his head like "well if they're successful enough like that, maybe i just need to change my look." and did it impulsively. Later, when he moves into the mansion, he gets it done professionally (and permanently) by swatchlings.
I also feel like he'd be good at cars, but in tune with his bad luck (and because in-game, Queen gets out of the car that's so very different from the others in Cyber city, telling noelle and kris "i was just afraid it hadn't exploded yet also those are the cars that's in spamton's area in the trash zone), maybe it was in his later years Big Shot Autos turned the tides for the worst, and several goofy explosion incidents ran rampant throughout the city, having Spamton's cars decommissioned and replaced with the ones they have now. This was devastating for him, as he's truly knowledgeable and it's his special interest. Nowadays he doesn't talk about it much, but he's still good at it, just distanced. He would talk about it if someone showed interest and didn't associate his brand with a bunch of failures, and then he'd never stop.
I'm loving Spamton being a manic driver, like one that DEFINITELY needs to be feared on the roads. Jevil loves this chaotic side to him and when he'd visit cyber city, he enjoyed Spamton's reckless driving and fancy cars (and the thought of being stuck in traffic with the clown was a horror upon itself to Spamton, who did everything to avoid it when he found out Jevil snuck into his car, inadvertently making it more fun for Jevil)
i love the idea of clicks going to therapy, trying to process everything. I feel he needs it :') That and I can agree with him being the second pick. Click-on ads are everywhere, more abundant that the other two, and it would be pretty easy to get him to the top. Luckily, Spamton was FAR easier to exploit on desperation versus Clicks's exploitable ego.
The last just breaks my heart, but I can see it. He was the big shot boss with a cigar that was larger than he was lmao
#i don't think i'd ever write smoking but this mental image is making me giggle but also extremely sad#gosh ty for your thoughts#my first part of the ask i lied i had to add to all of them#i get carried away with spamton headcanons cuz he's a little vermin of a muse hehe#asks#dr!hc

Star Wars Rebels + Star Trek: Voyager AU Part 2
So just some random things for this AU:
Kallus only leaves the aeroponics bay for the purposes of betting on relationships. Biggest J/C shipper on the ship, just beating Chakotay himself. He absolutely uses Zeb’s replicator rations for his bets, which Zeb allows because he’s a) not using them and b) glad that something is getting his boyfriend away from the fertilizer fumes for a few hours. Plus Zeb ships it too, it kinda reminds him of his first few weeks on the Ghost when Hera and Kanan tried to hide their relationship.
When Resolutions happens Kallus is absolutely insufferable. Imagine being a J/C shipper and only knowing that the Captain and Commander spent several days alone on a planet and came back with even more romantic tension. What happened on the planet Captain? Commander? I’m not saying that if Kallus found out about the bathtub that he’d have a stroke, but I’m also not not saying it.
Kallus also spends his time trying to get various crew members together. The Delaney sisters and their forays into the dating world are always entertaining. Tom and B'Elanna have that will they won't they tension that is just so delicious. Ensigns Bennet and Macormak though, they're his second favorite. He loves those oblivious idiots so much. Especially after Macormak keeps Zeb from running off ahead during a fight with the Kazon. So when Bennet dies, well, it shatters Kallus a little.
Hera and Samantha Wildman occasionally have girls nights. Those nights either Kanan takes all parenting duties (like Hera does when Kanan wants to hang out with his dad friends) or Zeb or Neelix watch both Jacen and Naomi Wildman so Kanan can also get some time away. Less often Ezra and Sabine watch the youngest Spectre, because they’re helpless in the face of Jacen’s lothpuppy eyes. One time Captain Janeway watched both kids and long story short both children came back with tiny command uniforms and breathe that smelled suspiciously like coffee.
Sabine and Ezra are both younger than the rest of the Voyager crew (Harry’s only older than Sabine by about a year but he’s clinging to that like a child clutching their safety blanket) excluding the literal infants. They’re basically the babies of the Voyager family, and the crew talks about them accordingly. More than once they've gotten separated from their fellow crew on shore leave causing Tom to run up to the local authorities and put out a missing child alert. No one (openly) finds this amusing except Tom.
Sabine figures out how to replicate beskar right before they encounter the Borg. Sabine hates the Borg. She hates them as a concept, hates them as a reality, just hates them. There's just something about an enemy that's able to so completely strip you of your personality, your individuality, that activates the primal fear part of her brain. Her brief mental debate if she should use her knowledge of beskar replication for the crew (it's sacred and not meant for outsiders) ends the first time she sees a crew member breakdown remembering Wolf 359 (I am making one of the background crew a Wolf 359 survivor, sue me). Voyager's crew has become family and what is beskar for if not to protect family?
Voyager gets beskar hull plates and bulkheads.
Tuvok, Ayala, and Joe Carey give Kanan advice on how to be a good dad. Naturally, it's all correct, yet they also all contradict each other. Tuvok's advice (based on what to do with telepathic Vulcan babies) actually works really well, which strengthens the friend part of his and Kanan's frenemies dynamic.
Ezra and Kanan (and to a lesser extent baby Jacen) set Q’s teeth on edge whenever he shows up. Unfortunately, this just seems to make Q show up more often. The Q Continuum has a love-hate relationship with Force sensitives because they’re living reminders of three Q who ran off to a Galaxy Far Far Away, decided to live as a creepy family, and gave some mortals phenomenal powers. No one wants to be reminded of their weird relatives.
I just want to say that at one point thanks to Q Hondo Ohnaka and Lwaxana Troi are on the ship at the same time. There is a considerable amount of chaos, fire, and firey chaos.

Hoseok being the hero in the townspeople’s story, but the villain in y/n’s is the absolute cherry on top of this yandere sundae. Goes to show we all have our good and bad sides. I wonder if the mystery woman he rescued will make a reappearance. I can’t shake the feeling and I’m likely wrong on this one but the entire situation reminds me a bit of Jiyoo. And speaking of Jiyoo, I fear that little scuffle a few chapters back isn’t the last we’ve heard from her.
“Everything I do I do for you. For us."
"Things will be easier if you just accept things as they are, Y/N." "Just accept it."
Hoseok has done and said a lot of things in this story but this part sent metaphorical chills down my spine. I was expecting him to either get pissed at y/n’s behavior or sweep the entire ordeal under the rug with one of his unhinged smiles, but instead he remained completely stoic and tried to appease her. People who are always calm in the face of someone else’s mental breakdown are the scariest, and it goes without saying he’s always so unpredictable.
Finally, I don’t care what anyone says, Namjoon gives me the ICK. I could care less about his so-called efforts because at this point, y/n just proved anyone can *sprinkle sprinkle* sweet words on her and get into those panties!! If not Namjoon, it could’ve been Jimin or Taehyung or he’ll even Hoseok if had taken things slow. The only thing Namjoon has done is take extreme advantage of y/n’s vulnerable state and made himself out to be the good guy by painting everyone else as bad. In reality he’s really just a disloyal fuck and liar because if he really wanted to help y/n he’d be drawing up escape plans, not tonguing down his brother’s girl. He’s being selfish with the risks he’s asking y/n to take with all their private rendezvous because when/if shit hits the fan, the consequences will likely be more severe for her, than it will be for him. He’s really no different from Hoseok, and objectively speaking, if we’re comparing who’s put in more effort for y/n, it’s Hoseok because he’s quite literally put clothes on her back and given her access to things in life that she never would’ve experienced had she still been a maid at the Baek’s.
From y/n’s pov, she’s such a ditz for caring more about her captor’s brother than about her freedom itself. “I wouldn't have met you” makes me want to throw up! Girl is beyond dickmatized and she hasn’t even gotten the dick yet! Whew. On another note, things are really heating up and I have a bad feeling that Hoseok might not be the only one who ends up interrupting whatever game y/n and Namjoon are playing. If you think about it, she currently has way more enemies (everyone else) than friends (Yoongi and *side eyes* Namjoon). In short, she’s putting all her eggs in one basket because besides Namjoon (who’s in on the shenanigans), who’s to say that Yoongi would even be willing to keep such a secret? The Bangtan Estate is huge but compared to 6 other prying eyes (and noses and ears, and let’s not forget all the maids), y/n is practically playing with her life.
Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe Namjoon is genuinely trying to help and is plotting their escape together (which I highly doubt), but only time will tell.
— cloudy anon ☁️
The mystery woman was mostly there to put a little fire under Y/N's ass to remind her she needs to escape before it's too late and to have given her a chance to try to at that moment in the hospital. Alas though it didn't work out for her.
I wonder what Jiyoo is up to 🤔 She may or may not do something in the future. For now I'd like to think she won't but you may never know.
Hoseok knows what he's doing. It's all at Y/N's expense but he doesn't see it that way. He has a lot of patience with her. He knows deep down in his heart that she'll change for him even though Y/N is making it clear that it will never happen. He has his moments where he gets upset but when it comes down to it he'll remain calm during her breakdowns because he believes it's just a little bump in the road to get over before things return to his idea of normalcy.
Namjoon definitely feels untrustworthy. Would anyone believe Y/N will have a better life with Namjoon or will he be just as bad or worse than Hoseok? Or maybe despite it all he does care for her. He's taken advantage of Y/N's vulnerable state like you said so either he sucks at being a true friend or maybe he has something planned. And it's good you point out how the consequences will be more severe for her than for him because at the end of the day their family will always stick together. Like for instance Hoseok may be upset with Jimin for what he did but Jimin is his everything. The brothers will always have each other's back no matter what so how will this work out for Y/N and Namjoon when/if everyone finds out what the two are up to? And speaking of that, that must really make Namjoon look even worse because Hoseok will always come first so is he really going to help Y/N escape or not?
Hoseok has definitely put in the time for Y/N. Even if she hadn't asked for it still. He's done more for her than even Hyun-Woo ever did. That says a lot about Hyun-Woo as well.
"Beyond dickmatized" 🤣 That got a good cackle out of me. Y/N is making poor decisions without even realizing it and like you said has more enemies in the household than friends. Yoongi definitely cares for her but this brings us back to what I said earlier. The brothers will always have each other's back. Yoongi likes Y/N but enough to cover for her? Yeah put a big question mark on that, but let's hope he never finds out. If anything Y/N should keep an eye out for Jimin because now he definitely as his eyes on her. He'll be watching her every chance he gets.
The maids are probably already talking and let's not forget that Seokjin does love a good gossip. It makes you wonder how Hoseok is going to find out.
Yep only time will tell. Namjoon has done questionable things but maybe he just sucks in decision making.
