How to spin the ball more? By @coach_pradeepkumar #pkyblog #pradeepkumaryadav You might hear many coaches saying to "not fall over", " get side on", or "your arm is pulling away"? Have any coaches taught you how to utilise your legs effectively? I would be willing to bet they haven't. But, Why listen to me when coaches have used this theory from many years? then why to follow me? Generally, I like to find new ideas and analysis them for the betterment of my students. So, studying the science behind this front foot landing to get more spin. I found that the bowlers who applied more force into the ground had greater potential to bowl and spin the ball faster. If this is executed correctly, the bowler will bowl off a braced front leg and all the force generated from the ground is transferred into the upper body and ultimately in the ball. #pkyblog #pkyvlog #thesportingarsenal #tsa #spinner #legspinner #legs #spinclass #bowlersmart #analyst #study #shanewarne #anilkumble #chahal #rcb #ipltreatment #workoutathome #pradeepkumaryadavblog #brace #footwear #landinggear (at Nagpur City) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDqT-pdlQ_7/?igshid=c5hkgib8aitn

How to improve front foot ankle position? Ankle pain is often due to an ankle sprain but can also be caused by ankle instability and poor structural alignment of the leg or foot. As the bowler is coming into the delivery stride, the back foot contacts the ground first. In many bowling actions, the bowlers body weight is leaning backwards supported by the back foot. This is mostly seen in side on bowlers due to lateral flexion of the spine. Front on bowlers tend to not have such a lean. However the back foot is not the foot under the most pressure. It is the front foot that needs to be examined more thoroughly. When the front foot contacts the ground, there are forces up to nine times the bowler’s body weight depending on the front leg to keep the body stable. If the front foot is extended or straight, the bowler will be able to produce higher ball speeds in the delivery. The front knee provides an important pivot point which allows for the upper body to be catapulted towards the intended direction of ball release. An extended front leg can also wield the forces produced in the run up and release them in the ball release. However, if the front leg is flexed or bent will result in the bowler’s momentum to cease causing the trunk to drive forward. In video you can see in first part the bowler's front foot angle position was weird. To improve that i introduced a drill by sketching a line asking him to put his front foot angle straight on it. #pkyblog #pkyvlog #pradeepkumaryadav #tsa #thesportingarsenal #pradeepkumaryadavblog #bowling #cricketislife #anklepain #improvements #newdrills #makeupideas #coaches #mycricketcoach #stayhome #staystrong (at Stay Safe Stay at Home) https://www.instagram.com/p/B-bLJxYFxZM/?igshid=1uzj3p20fryuq

It's time to slog. or In modern parlance, power hitting. Whatever you call it, clearing the ropes is even more vital now limited-overs formats dominate. Despite what your coach says, there say, there are times when you just have to give it the long handle. But it's not all about closing your eyes and swiping it to cow corner. That's one way to hit a boundary, but there is a method to the madness. This kind of play is more of a mindset than technique. It doesn't matter who the batsman is or who the bowler is when the time is there to slog you have to go for it whether you are opener or tail-ender. So, here are some strategies by which you can improve while keeping risk under control. Learn to pull your energy in the stroke without losing "shape". Some people learn to backload like the link above while others take a more traditional technical approach. Neither is wrong, it's whatever works for you. A good drill to try different ways is range hitting. Make sure that follow-through is fluent. Lack of momentum in the shot will scoop the ball in the air and you can get caught. You are still trying to time the contact of the ball on the bat with your downswing, even when going over the top. How to improve contact point while playing drive/shot in cricket. Many times we see that the drive which should travel along the ground goes in the air, this all happened due to the contact point of the ball on the bat. And in India, there are many notoriously slow pitches which requires this practice to control the ball and contact under your eyes. Practice this by bowling half volleys and full tosses so you could practice playing the ball right under your eyes. And try to play with a straight bat, present full face of the bat. This will give the player more control and appropriate contact point. The ball will hit the ground early on its journey into and through the infield. #pradeepkumaryadav #thesportingarsenal #pkyblog #pkyvlog #cricketcoach #cricketshot #indiacricketers #contactpoint #ipl2020 #dubai #lovecricket #basicstyle #drive #shot https://www.instagram.com/p/CGCA_RSF6bT/?igshid=1ol7bywjgbxeo

#lofteddriveshot #pkyblog #pkyvlog One of the most enjoyable parts of playing cricket is hitting the ball out of the ground. The specific shots are done for specific intention to send the ball in the air. The lofted drive shot is the best shot to hit the ball out of the ground. This shot requires a various tricky approach, as well as a great deal of practices. Let’s learn about how to play lofted drive The lofted drive is an excellent shot played by the front foot shot when the bat is moved in a curve ahead of the drive. The ball is sent up in the air between mid-on and mid-off. It is best played from the crease to an over-pitched delivery. It is best played to an over-pitched delivery from the crease. The three key steps are: The position The shot The follow-through The Position: Relax your body and assume a balanced posture. The Shot: Lift your bat with a high backswing to gain enough impetus to hit the ball. The follow-through: Take a step to the pitch of the ball, curve your front knee by keeping your head behind the point of contact. Strike the ball 1-2 foot ahead, chipping it in the air and over the bowler. Now extend your arms in a curve towards the direction of the shot and let loose your back foot to balance yourself. The Shot is of high risks. It needs lots of practice prior to the implementation of it. It is sending balls to the air, instead of sending it over the ground. It increases the possibility of being caught Keep practising the stroke to perfect your Lofted Drive. Enjoy your game. #pradeepkumaryadav #thesportingarsenal #tsa #lofted #shots #indiancricket #lovecricket #gameon #practising #perfect #perfection #fitnessworld #corestability #energywork #powertraining #icc #nagpurcity #teamindia #bccicricket #learningathome #battingcoach https://www.instagram.com/p/CFTV5Ntl3Df/?igshid=1fhvgfydwzi76
