As gently and politely as I can put this: that post I made about outliving him is meant to be an anti-suicide affirmation. It is not meant to be a blinders-on assessment of reality, of the future boiling down to whether one man lives or dies. It is meant to reassure myself and everyone else that the horrors come, and the horrors go, that nothing is permanent, that hope persists with split knuckles and blood on its teeth. Things are rough. Things will likely get rougher. My eyes are open to that, but in the end, the first thing they want from us is to roll over, surrender, die. And I will not be granting that wish. I deserve to be here. You deserve to be here. We deserve to see the sun rise. And it will. I promise.

no, i'm not christian at all! i'm ex-christian, though i don't mind if you're christian yourself. i've been agonistic since age 12 or so :3

the reason why i have so many crosses in my drawings is because some of the characters in my OC project/comic reassassination are christian (or at least follow a fictional denomination of christianity), and i wanted to include heavy cross and crucifix iconography because of that! it's inspired by real-life catholicism making everything really flashy haha

the thing about me is i can only stand fluff if there is unbearable pain before or after. like happiness means nothing to me if no one had to bleed for it. had to pay for it.

im always for cutting out romantic storylines so this is just typical for me but axel and sam could be so good without the super intense pining like CMON samantha larusso went on a nice little night time beach walk and came back with a giant croatian terminator guard dog because she was nice to him. they got that horse girl movie dynamic where axel is the unfriendly horse and sam is the girl with boundless optimism and apples. they stop by barcelona's fast food restaurant of choice and she marches up to the counter like él dijo sin pepinillos and when you look up, staring stoically over her shoulder is a boy mountain. miguel and the rest of miyagi do are ike "uh whatcha got there?" and sam just goes "a smoothie! :D" and then there's axel kovačević behind her with the world's tiniest awkwardest smile.

It's nearly October, and while I already know I'll not be able to do the whole month I kinda wanna do inktober! I did it once and it really helped me getting in to drawing routine again - something that I'm really missing right now. I do know that I don't want to do the official prompts, so I thought maybe we can do a fun little game 👀 Send me a random character and/or a word? I might mix them up later, but maybe we'll get a whole promptlist that way!
