11. What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to your oc? Do they still feel ashamed for it? Were there any witnesses?

Muse The Cat Boy debacle. Hands down. The Cat Boy debacle which was witnessed by basically all of his friends. For those of you not in the know, the Cat Boy debacle was a magic anon event that gave Muse cat ears... and then everyone clowned on him for it, it was really funny.

Script One time when he was at a coffee shop and he decided to shoot his shot with this cute man who was also idling in the shop. They spoke for a little bit and everything seemed like it was going well but when Script asked for his number, the man shot him down. Turns out he was already dating someone and had been unknowingly flirting with this guy right in front of his partner, who was a barista at the store. Script has never returned to that coffee shop since.

Page Page is the type of person who is easily embarrassed by many things but I think what takes the cake for him was that one time he confiscated a rather raunchy magazine from a student and had set it aside to turn into the principal's office when he was next free. Except, well, Muse and Script came to visit him and they spotted the magazine sitting on his desk and well, let's just say some assumptions were made. They were cleared up rather quickly but Muse has never quite let Page live that one down.

Virus Although Virus is the King of Shameless now, he wasn't always that way! He, too, was an innocent (or as innocent as he can get) youth just stumbling his way through the world. The most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to him was probably back when he still entertained fleeting relationships and flings. He was keeping in contact with a particularly attractive paramour and sent some photos and messages typical those sent between lovers. Except, well. He accidentally sent them to The Hierophant instead. The Hierophant found it all rather amusing but Virus was mortified. He tries not to think about it too hard but he does double check his texts now.

[7] Are they a good liar, and what would they probably lie about?

Caul is a Crow, so as an assassin he's a pretty good liar! Although honestly he lies more through omission than anything else - he's a stoic, serious kinda guy and he finds it very easy to just. Not tell people things. This is a hold over from a) hiding his pain so often and so long, b) spending long stretches of time alone stalking his marks, and c) a habit of not telling the adults of his clan about anything he saw through his Fade-eye. Much safer for him that way. He still lies about his pain, but he's finding it easier to admit and let Emmrich help nowadays, although it's still hard!

[24] How hard it is for them to not allow their emotions to cloud their judgement?

He's an assassin, it's pretty easy. Crows are trained to look at things objectively, to carry out their contracts without emotional attachment and with a high level of professionalism, and he carries that through his entire being. His Fade-eye and his sniper-sharpened vision let him see to the heart of things - he sees the path to take and treads it without fear or hesitation. However, he can have a tendency towards anger and a bit of jealousy, and has been known to react harshly, especially if he's in pain.

[60] If they were to commit a crime, what kind of crime would it most likely be?

Oh boy, is assassination a crime? XD I don't really know outside of that - while he's obviously a Crow, he's actually pretty law-abiding overall. He thrives with rules, although not too overwhelming amounts of them. Idk, he'd probably steal a book for Emmrich, but absolutely not tell him he'd done it lol.

we were sitting on the floor and i was cutting out tiny pictures to make a collage for a friend's birthday. you were on your phone and you laughed about something, and i was still in love with you then, so i asked what had you giggling.

"sorry. i was just..." you took a moment and went back to texting. "i was telling someone about how you're afraid of the dark."

i'm afraid of the dark because something bad happened. "oh." i felt a little slinky of shame crawl down my throat.

you glanced up, and maybe it showed on my face, because you rolled your eyes and held the phone to the side casually so i could see the group chat. "what? was it a secret?"

i looked down to the scissors in my hand. "i just..." no, it's not a secret. it just felt like something private, something serious. saying why would you tell someone that just feels like an accusation. it's unfair. i honestly am not even ashamed of it, it's just a fact about my person that i don't usually share.

what a strange experience. is this a human thing or a generational thing? for our grandparents: did they need to worry about how quickly someone can just... share your personal information? again, i didn't even really have a true objection. what could i say? i want any person in my life to feel they can be honest with their friends. it's not like i said don't tell anyone this.

i cut out another letter to complete the rainbow happy birthday, started hunting for the exclamation mark. i heard you sigh dramatically.

"don't make a big deal about this," you said.

this entire conversation was a pattern for us, and this was when we got to my least favorite part of the pattern. i would get my feelings hurt in some oblique not-technically-terrible way, and then it would be making a big deal about something. you'd get frustrated for me for being soft, but i was born soft. you knew i was soft when you pierced me. it's one of the things that made controlling me so easy.

"i'm not," i felt my voice crack. the question came without my wanting. "why are you guys talking about me?" and why are you saying that thing? why not like - i'm telling them how you're generous and kind and pretty.

you let out this low, tragic groan. "oh my god." you tossed the phone away from your body. "there, see? i just won't talk to them if you don't like it."

the rest of the hour went the way it always went, between us: i said i don't actually mind if you talk to your friends but -, you found a way to call my minor expression of discomfort "being dramatic." you got upset that i had been offended. i ended up apologizing, even though i hadn't actually done anything.

afterwards, you picked up the phone again. after texting for a little bit, you snorted. "okay," you said, "but it is kind of funny you're afraid of the dark. i mean, when you think about it."

SO MANY PEOPLE GUESSED CORRECTLY!#It wasn't that hard #We know Papyrus knows the river person #are they friends? idk BUT I PERSONALLY THINK THEY ARE #I just LOVEEE looking at the dialogue and making connections #I referenced one of the lines from the river person here...sometimes they'll ask you if you know any game you can play with a dog...#They said they were “asking for a friend...”#And I couldn't help but think about Papyrus' problem with the annoying dog LMAO #+ Papyrus seems very excited to know if the river person is there when you call him nearby that area #Okay so... now ...some comic thing that I made up but also didn't...#“FLOWEY DOESN'T KNOW WHO THE RIVER PERSON IS?”#okay so...#I feel like #It's not very common for them to be there...#When talking with Undyne around that area it's kind of *unclear* if she knows about the river person being there....#She tells you about the river connecting different areas and that you should “jump in”#She then clarifies that's the only thing they got for public transport #AND LIKE? Final Bug Fact:

The world NEEDS bugs. They keep the soil healthy, pollinate, control pests, and contribute to the worlds' ecosystem. By the end of the century, it is estimated 40% of insect species may go extinct due to habitat loss. Yes, that is very scary. But with even one beetle spared, one caterpillar rescued, and one Hollow Knight comic of all things, things will change. Because I know there's a lot more Dewi's out there than most people realize. Stay curious.

I wanted to put here how amazing and sweet everyone has been with this comic. I finished a 75 page comic in 3 MONTHS. I am at a loss for words. That sounds crazy and it IS crazy. But man was it fun. Even on days were I wasn't able to draw due to fatigue or business, I loved working on it from start to finish. And guess what!? This is my first ever FINISHED comic :D I'm so proud of myself. I know there's some things I want to change and the art is wonky in most places...... but I'm content to let it be. What an amazing summer adventure!

I'm hoping to post the full comic on another Comic website. I may or may not edit some of the art ^w^ So I'll let y'all know when I release it.

Interested in learning what you could do to help your local insects? This is the basic stuff. Maybe make some Insect Hotels if you have the time!!! And never forget to spread the word about bugs. They need our help just as any animal on earth.
