I had this idea like this morning or last night, I don't remember. And then I was not physically/mentally able to write until the sudden Need To Write hit me and I cranked this out

When writing this, I noticed I kept making references to Tav being shorter, but bc I want this to be enjoyed by everyone, I took them out. Pls let me know if I missed any instances of it tho

Astarion didn’t trust his hair with just anybody. Pulling on it during sex? Okay. Playing with it while cuddling? It takes him a bit to actually trust someone enough to enjoy it. Washing it? Absolutely off the table. Cutting it? Out of question, and he’d probably insult you for asking.

So when he came to you, frowning and grumbling, and struggled through grit teeth to ask if you would please help him cut his hair? That meant something.

You tried not to let your glee show as you dropped whatever you were working on and followed him into your shared bathroom. He plopped onto the edge of the tub like a pouting child who’d just got a good telling-to after misbehaving. He held the scissors up for you to take.

“If you cut my ears, darling, I’m going to make you regret the day you were ever born.” He glares over his shoulder as you step into the tub behind him, rolling up your sleeves and taking the scissors. “And don’t you dare do anything funny. All I need is a simple trim. I assume you’re capable enough to manage that?”

You smiled as he growled at you like an annoying customer. You lean down and gently kiss his cheek. “I promise I’ll only take a little bit off.”

There’s an unspoken conflict on his face. He’s not sure he actually wants you to go through with this… But he’s sort of out of options. Any salons nearby closed before the sun went down, and he definitely did not trust any of your past traveling companions to do the job. No. He’d just have to trust you. He sighs and faces forward. “Just… be careful.”

“I will, my love.”

It had been difficult to notice during the course of your adventure together, but his hair did grow. Not as fast as yours, but curls that delicately curled around the edges of his ears now almost completely covered them, like strangling vines. You’d heard him cuss too many times when a strand got caught in his earrings and tugged when he went to brush the hair from his face. The curl that lay persistently over his forehead now brushed his upper eyelid. Very frequently, he would huff and fight to push it back, with nothing to show for it.

With gentle, smooth motions, you combed your fingers through his hair. Your nails lightly scratched at his scalp, running from his hairline to the nape of his neck, and carefully untangling any knots all the while. You heard his quiet sigh, and saw his shoulders begin to relax. You pressed a kiss to his head.

Assessing his full head of hair, you figured out where to begin. You separated out a section, trying to determine how long it used to be, so you knew how short to cut it now. He tensed again.

“I’m going to start cutting it now, okay?” He hummed, short and anxious. You pressed a hand to his shoulder. “Relax, dear. I’ve got you.”

“It’s difficult to when you have the means to turn me into a glorified clown.”

“But I won’t.”

He sighed. “I know.”

You wait for him to relax again, and he nods slightly. You take the scissors to the first section of hair. With a shink, a small clump of hair falls into the tub. The sound certainly doesn’t fill him with confidence, but he trusts you won’t mess it up too bad…

You begin talking about your friends, about the letters they’ve sent lately keeping you updated with their lives. Apparently, Gale sent some interesting information regarding potential cures for his vampirism - though most of it was only on temporary remedies. “In good time,” you’d assured him when he groaned. Stepping into the sun again would be nice, but an end to his sanguine hunger would be better.

It takes a while to cut all his hair, especially with how meticulous you’re being. You give special attention to the hair around his ears, making sure not to nick him. You step out of the tub and in front of him while you cut the stubborn curl there, where you catch it before it can fall into his lap, and deposit it in the basin. He can’t help watching you then. You have such determination and focus on the task at hand. Only once the curl is trimmed do you actually see him staring, and you smile and peck his lips. He rather enjoyed that.

As you go through each section, you consistently run your fingers through his hair. It’s the most relaxing bit, and he’s certainly glad he asked you for this. He would die before Gale ever got his grubby mitts anywhere near his hair.

By the time you finish, his eyes are closed. He listens to your chatter, to the random tunes you hum, to the way you hold your breath as you make a cut. It’s rather peaceful, despite the underlying nervousness to it all. He can’t see himself. All he can hope is you make him look nice.

You brush your fingers through his hair to knock loose any stray strands. It falls like snow by your feet. Satisfied with your work, you begin running water for a bath, kicking the hair down the drain before you plug it to fill the tub.

“Done, love?”

“Mhm!” You lean around to kiss his cheek again. “You can take a bath, wash all the hair off, and I can get you some fresh clothes.”

He grins. He stands and turns to face you, taking your hands in his and running his thumbs along your knuckles. He’s worried, anxious, but he tries not to let it show. “How do I look?” he asks with a careful bravado, tilting his head to the side, chin upturned, like a haughty nobleman.

You let go of his hand to cup his cheek. He automatically leans into it, mask slipping ever so slightly to reveal his worry. “You look beautiful. I think I did a rather fine job.”

“‘Rather fine?’ Oh, darling,” he lilts, “for your sake, I’d better look the spitting image of perfection.”

“You always do.” It’s earnest. A solid fact to oppose the teasing of his words.

He cannot prevent the true smile that tugs the corners of his mouth as he leans in to claim yours, tasting and nipping and teasing with soft sighs of content. You are much too good to him, but he doesn’t say that out loud, lest you lecture him and treat him to endless spoils until he believes it himself.

He reluctantly pulls away, but his lips continue to brush yours. “Bathe with me.”

You open your eyes to study his face. “Are you sure?”

“Undoubtedly.”

A mischievous spark glints in the corner of your eye as you grin wickedly. “Do I get to wash your hair?”

He chuckles. “Don’t push it.”

You hum. “Would you wash mine?”

“Whatever you want, my love.”

“I want… to turn off the tap before our bathroom floods.” You pull away and he has to laugh as you wade through the water to stop the steady stream. The warm water reaches just below your knees. You sigh, but the annoyance is dampened by your grin. “Look what you’ve done - distracting me like that. Now my pants are all wet.”

“All wet?” He makes a show of looking you up and down. “I don’t know, love. I see quite a few dry spots.”

Without warning, he steps into the large tub, still in his own clothes, and grabs you, pulling you down with him into the water. Your laughter fills the house. Astarion has never been more in love.

WAKFU REDESIGN AND REWRITE SERIES – PART 1

Evangelyne

Evangelyne used to be my favorite character growing up, which kind of sucks since she’s one of the flattest characters considering how much screentime she has.

Even when I was a little kid and watched this show I found it annoying how she was constantly drooled over by the guys and these days its pretty obvious she’s a very stereotypical not-like-the-other-girls girl, created solely to be Percedal’s (the literal incarnation of the expected target audience) love interest.

SHE EVEN HAS THE WHOLE „I let my hair down and now am so much prettier“ ARC HAPPEN FRICKING TWICE IN THE SPAN OF. WHAT- 5 EPISODES???

Evangelyne is a misogynistic character on so many levels, the only Eva-centric episodes we get are either ones she needs saving in (like Vampyro or the pirate one), or when she has a love arc with Percedal (the whole Rubilaxia shtick, or the tree of Life episode).

Honestly the only bearable scenes where she shows up are those where she interacts with Amalia and even those get twisted into weird sexist tropes: Evangelyne critisizing Amalia for buying too much clothes, or overall cringing at Amalia’s „too girly“ behaviour.

Even when they have a touching conversation after freeing Amalia’s father from the Tree of Life, Amalia immediatelly brings up Percedal and fails the Bechdel test.

I won’t even touch the Cleophée (or Cleome in english) trainwreck  the writers pulled in season 2 or the whole pregnant-damsel-in-distress thing she had going on in season 3- I didn’t watch season 3 and 4 mostly because I got so mad after the misogyny happening in the first episode and I didnt want to ruin my already fragile excitement over the series.

But don’t get me wrong – Even tho Wakfu has a lot of potential for growth, I still love the series dearly, and would love to give the characters justice. It is important to note that I am not a professional writer and Im mostly doing this for my own indulgence, so please feel free to throw constructive critisism towards me.

Character rewrite

We don’t know much about Evangelyne’s backstory, or rather her story before she meets Amalia – And in my head as a kid, I always assumed she was an orphaned kid basically living on the street with Cleophée, until someone (presumably Armand, since he has a long-term crush on her and Amalia hated her at first) took pity on her and took her to the palace (once I figure out Cleophées design Ill explain what happens with her).

Fast forward a couple years, Eva is officially Amalia’s bodyguard, yadayadayada.

Important thing is, that this shapes Evangelyne’s personality and self-perception –

I have divided my potential Eva Arc into 3.5 Categories:

Self-protection and perservation

Eva knows how dangerous the world can be (streets) and how serious her job is, but she’s only seventeen. She takes her job way too seriously, in the sense that she doesnt trust anybody they meet (which is especially shown when they meet the Tofu gang). She doesn’t want anyone but Amalia close and deep down, she’s scared of other people.

She is horrible at teamwork, which only frustrates her and everyone around her. She fails to see the affection Amalia has for her, because her entire self is just a bodyguard.

She doesn’t know who she is without that.

Depression

Dally’s sacrifce absolutely traumatizes Eva, both in the canon and my version. It doesnt need to be seen as romantic tho (we’ll get to that). On top of that AMALIA BRIEFLY DIES AND COMES BACK. Can you HEAR Evangelyne’s entire purpose crumbling down?

In her head, two people just died because of her.

Besides, Percedal sacrifices himself because he cares for her. Not as a „coworker“ or a teammate, but as a friend and Evangelyne cannot fathom that sort of service and relationship.

And even though she failed, her friends are there to support her.  Eva learns compassion.

Self-destruction

However, she now feels she has to „make up“ for her lack of compassion and her failings as a bodyguard. Long story short, she completely flips to the other extreme, basically throwing herself in any sort of danger to protect her friends  (hence when she hears Dally, she immediatelly goes to Rubilaxia). In the show this is less extreme but portrayed as her real and true personality: more reckless and adventureous – but i think the writers just wanted Eva to finally have something in common with Dally (which, btw, uncool), but I’d like this to be portrayed as a bad thing.

Eva fails to see that she’s hurting herself and fails to recognize herself as a person rather than basically a human shield. This arc climaxes in the Cleophée episode and Eva learns that compassion is not transactional, or something to be earned.

Her true self

Evangelyne's final form! We dont know much about Eva's hobbies other than her job and fighting skills, HOWEVER Dally mentions Eva taught him tracking at one point and tbh Evangelyne being a ranger or just studying nature fits her pretty well imo! She is also canonically artistic (as confirmed by the journal she keeps).

I take issue with Evangelyne always being seen as the “mom of the group”. Yes, she's smart and responsible and caring, but that's her job, she's an older sister, less of a mother figure and more of an equal to the others in the gang.

Design

In s1, Id like her to wear a lot of armour with chainmail directly on her skin (haha get it because trust issues), and with a mostly green colour palette, cause, Sadida kingdom yk.

In her s2 look, she throws away most of her armour and self perservation instincts and since her personality completely flips, so does her colour palette - red! The first aid kit is gone and she wears an ascot now (a torn bit from Dally's cape lol).

And finally, i made her a furry I gave her some gadget shoes from Cleophée, helping her move faster, I put some of the armour back and made her hair longer. Her colour palette now consists not only green, but also the "Yugo blue", which i plan on incorporating in everyone's final design :D

AND FINALLY, AN ART DUMP

I loved your broken sibling relationship with Azul! Can I request the same scenario BUT with Vil?

They were once happy, they both were actors, modeling and all that stuff Vil does. Reader barely ever got recognized but one fateful day they did and Vil was upset. Jealous even that reader was getting the spotlight and it damages their relationship with an argument and he says hurtful things and ignores reader. Reader tries to make things right between them but you know how Vil is. So stuckup and selfish and mean. Spitting poison laced words and even spreading rumors about reader damaging his own sisters reputation.

But after Vil overblots and Vil tries to fix his relationship with his sister aka reader, they're like "You decided to talk to me now? After you overblot? It took you so long to realize what you did was wrong? I tried to make things better but you ignored me, neglected me. There's no second chance between us." Or something? (I wanted to give you an idea on what I wanted when I wrote this btw) I want all the angst. So now the reader doesn't like Vil and avoids him at all cost.

Fem or gn reader is fine. But can u do fem? You don't have to if you don't want to.

Yes of course! And no worries you may have given me an outline but I can provide the details! I actually made a couple posts about Vil as a sibling (good and bad relationship) where the beginning of your request kinda matches one of them. So I hope you don't mind but I'm basically going to be writing the second part of your request (after the overblot). I'll link the other parts tho. Many people have been asking for more angst between Vil and Azul as siblings. Especially endings where the reader doesn't forgive them.

the first part

Vil as a sibling (Broken relationship with no forgiveness)

The one person who you're supposed to be able to rely on at NRC, absolutely hates you

your dear brother Vil had made it very clear

he would insult you, and embarrass you in front of everyone

he was going to be the most beautiful, and he would tear down anyone who got in his way

it doesn't matter that you're his sister

eventually he managed to insult you enough that everyone started to avoid you and hate you just as he did

you had even tried to make things better between you two

but he didn't accept that

he wouldn't stop as long as there was a chance someone could see you as better than him

so he pushed you away and only insulted you further

he even told you that he had no interest in ever being close with you

eventually, you gave up on even trying

you simply wanted a good relationship with your brother

and he's done nothing but hate you and try to ruin you

after everything he's done, you were tired of it

he hated you, so why should you give him the time?

you refused to continue just taking this treatment

now the two of you were just avoiding each other

not even talking or in the same space

after his overblot, Vil had taken the time to reflect on his actions

and he deeply regrets how he treated you

is it so bad that it's his sister who gets some of the spotlight?

surely he should be able to accept it if it's you

so Vil tries to work on it

it can take him a bit because he has to figure out the right way to speak to you after everything

one day, he walked up to you and tried to casually start a conversation

"What have you been up to recently?"

a simple conversation starter really

but you weren't just going to give in and forgive him after everything

"You decided to talk to me now? After you overblot? It took you so long to realize what you did was wrong? I tried to make things better but you ignored me, neglected me. There's no second chance between us."

with that, you just walked away

there was no way you could forgive him after everything

your reputation and even part of your confidence have suffered because of him

he was just so cruel to you for so long that it wasn't possible to forgive him

throughout the next few weeks, Vil was lingering in spaces around you

like he was testing to see if you would change your mind

you wouldn't

it was way to late for him to try and make things right

he even had sent some gifts to your room like that would make it better and get you to talk to him

as you continued to ignore him and his efforts, he eventually backed off

he couldn't force you to like him (he wanted to tho)

he completely understood why you didn't want to forgive him for everything

and while he respected your decision, he still cared about you despite it all

he kept his distance, but was still looking out for you

if he heard someone talking bad about you or causing you trouble, he would still defend you while keeping his distance

Vil holds on to the secret hope that you would someday forgive him

God, he would be so oblivious to your advances

he prides himself on being the General Mahamatra and how perceptive one has to be for this line of work, to be as sufficient and successful as him

yet when it comes to romance, he has no clue about anything at all

you have fallen for the man long before you guys even became friends

you always found him interesting, yet his stoic and mysterious attire made it difficult for you to just simply approach him

the friendship started slowly, but it grew steadily. Your romantic feelings for him never once faultered, but you didn't want to risk the friendship you had with him, so you stayed silent

for a few years, you were happy just to be by his side and call him a friend

but as it tends to be, feelings only grow bigger the more you try to ignore them

You still didn't want to just outright tell him, so you started dropping little hints to him that you liked him

your shoulders brushed together more often then they should, touches lastet longer than usual, you tried subtly flirting with him

and yet, nothing seemed to work. Everyone around you figured out your hints pretty quickly, even Tighnari did and encouraged you to keep trying, but Cyno was just oblivious

he never noticed anything different, brushing your behaviour off as it just being yourself

after a few more weeks of trying, you finally got fed up with him and decided to do something a little more drastic

Cyno had been gone on a mission for the past week. He had returned today and you both have made plans to meet and catch up over dinner

While dinner was enjoyable to you as usual and you had a pretty good talk, he still didn't catch up to your hints

so, as he was walking you home, like he always insisted to do to make sure you got home safely, you decided that it was finally time

once you arrived at your front door, Cyno was already saying his goodbye and turning to leave, you quickly grabbed his wrist

he wanted to ask you what was wrong but before he could do so, his eyes widened in shock as he felt your lips on his

it was only a brief moment, the touch only lastet a few seconds, but it was enough to make him feel all flustered, his cheeks turning a different shade of red

he looked at you, completely frozen, his fingers reaching up to touch his lips, eyes still fixed on you

you try to smile at him, but giving his wordless reaction up until now, you grew nervous.. did you just mess up?

meanwhile, Cyno seemed to have a sudden moment of realization, thinking back to all the times before where he never understood your hints

now, he simply grabbed you by the waist and pulled you in for another kiss, surprising you, but you weren't about to reject him, anyways

this time, the kiss lasted longer, it was more than just a touching of lips together

"Sorry it took me so long to notice.", he whispered once you separated again, and you knew that you didn't make a mistake at all...

Tighnari

LOTS OF PINING!!

Being friends with Tighnari can be difficult at first thanks to his personality standing in the way sometimes

he's a great leader to the forest rangers and people respect him, but his personality in private is not really different from that, so it can be a bit overwhelming for some people, choosing to only keep the relationship professional

not you though. You took a liking to him the first time you laid eyes on him. You knew instantly that you were attracted to him

So, you decided to just test your luck, dropping little hints here and there

Wether it be in conversations, trying to flirt with him when appropriate, or through actions, making him some snacks that he likes or offering your help with his reports

Though, much to your dismay, he never took it as anything else than a friendly gesture from you, thinking that you were just looking out for him in your own way

It frustrated you, but you also didn't have the courage to simply tell him right at the beginning of getting to know him

And that's actually a good thing, because thanks to getting to know him better, you got to learn so many different things about him, which only made you fall for him even more

And it also gave you more than enough time to mentally prepare yourself for the moment when you were going to make the desicive move, which you knew you would have to make at some point in time if you wanted to progress with him

And today, it seemed like it was the perfect opportunity. He had invited you to join him on a patrol through the forest, since his initial accompany got sick and couldn't go

You happily accepted the invite, keeping him company since you weren't a forest ranger yourself. You loved hearing him talk about all sorts of things and how happy he seemed to be about someone seriously listening to him

Currently, he was in the middle of telling you some fun facts about a glower you ran into. You stood closely to him as you kept looking between him and the plant

Once he was done with his explanation, he looked over at you for a reaction. And in that moment, you decided tontake a leap of faith and just be bold

"That's interesting.. you're really good at explaining stuff like that, Tighnari."

He blushed slightly from your compliment and wanted to say something, but the words were caught in his throat when he suddenly felt a pair of lips press against his cheek

His entire face exploded in a blush as he stared at you, his hand coming up to cup his cheek where you just kissed him. His expression was one of disbelieve.. like he didn't think what just happened was real

You giggled at his reaction then got up and started walking back in the direction of the village

"Huh? Wait, (Name)! What does this mean? Why did you..", he trailed of, not being able to say it out loud

"You're smart, right? I'm sure you can figure it out, fox boy!", you turn and say, smiling at him. Yet he noticed a faint blush on your cheeks as well

He then rushed to catch up to you, his mind running at a thousand miles per hour, thought rushing through his head

You couldn't possibly feel the same way as him...right??

Alhaitham

For someone so smart as him, it's actually surprising that he did not pick up at your attempts of flirting at all

He is clearly aware about the concept and, in theory, he knows what flirting looks like

He just never thought that he would ever be on the recieving end of it, since most people find his personality to be insufferable, so why would anyone be interested in a relationship with him?

And it's not like he was actively looking for one, either. He was happy with the life he had build for himself, no need to complicate things in any way

You, however, have beem attracted to the Grand Scribe of the Academiya for a few weeks now

What first started out as mere acquaintances meeting in the House of Daena from time to time grew into a mutual sort of friendship where you two would mostly talk about books youbwere reading and sometimes other aspects about your life

Well, it was just a friendship for him. For your part, you were hoping that you would be able to build up something off of that, but he was just way too oblivious for your advances

When you got out of your way to cook your lunch, you intentionally made a bit more, so you could give some of it to him

He took it, but didn't think anything else of it. Verbally flirting was also off the table, he just didn't pick up on any hints, and pick-up lines also didn't work on him

At some point, even Kaveh noticed your attempts at flirting. He offered you his pity but still wished you look on yojr endeavours

However, only few days after that encounter with his roommate did you finally loose your cool

You had yet again invited the Scribe to join you for dinner, which he accepted. While eating, he told you about his day and how he was approached by a female scholar today

As he told you about his encounter, you soon had a realization

"Alhaitham.. that poor girl was flirting with you..", you say to him after listenting to everything he told you. This made him think for a few seconds before answering

"I'm sorry, but I disagree. I do believe I would have noticed of she was flirting with me."

"Oh, you mean like how you noticed that I've been flirting with you?"

You didn't mean to say that, the words just slipped out before you could hold them back. But now it was said, and he was looking at you with a shocked expression

"What?", he asked, blinking at you like he just heard you wrong

You decided that now was as good a time as any other, so you just took the risk and leaned into him, placing a gentle, quick kiss to his lips

You pulled back quickly, but then suddenly, a hand in your neck pushed you back into him, entangling you in another kiss

You were surprised by this turn of events but quickly closed your eyes as you enjoyed the kiss

When he broke the kiss, he gently took your chin in his hand, making you look up at him

"I'm sorry for not noticing sooner."

"It's fine. At least you're aware now.", you smile and he also gently laughs at this

Kaveh

Oh boy..

With how much of a social butterfly this man is, it's almost impossible to believe that he wouldn't pick up on any flirting attempts

Or, maybe it's better to say that he does pick up on them, but he never really takes them seriously

Mostly because usually, the people flirting with him are strangers, and the only thing strangers look for, are people's appearances

And he doesn't want to get with someone simply because of his looks. He wants the person to know him already, to want him for himself and his personality, not something so shallow

And yet, when you start dropping hints at him, flirting with him, he immediately shuts that idea down in his head, blocking out all the signs until he becomes literally blind to them

The reason? He doesn't belive himself to be worthy of someone like you. He thinks himself not deserving of your love and affection, so he annhialtes the idea before his heart can raise any false hopes

You also notice this change in behaviour from him, since he starts acting a bit more distant from you. You don't think too much of it though and continue to flirt with him, dropping subtle hints here and there

At some point, he starts hanging around you less and less, and you start thinking that maybe you made him uncomfortable with your advances

So, you give him some time and space since it didn't seem like he wanted to be around you

However, that set Kaveh off, thinking now that he did something wrong for you to stoo seeking him out like you usually do

It takes some time but eventually, you find back together and you start hanging out again, yet your feelings for him still keep hanging in the air between you two, always left unsaid

So, you decided that you had to play with open cards with him, or else nothing was ever going to happen. And you would rather just be honest with him than make him uncomfortable with your flirting again

I think there should bé a fic where anyone from the grid would be third wheeling Landoscar, like, have you seen how these two interact.

So, I lack the ability and the time of f1writingbyme and LestappenForever to make this idea into a proper work like they did for "How (Not) To Third Wheel Lestappen" (check it out on Ao3 if you haven't already, definitely worth it) BUT BUT BUT, I can tell you how I think most of the grid would react in third wheeling Landoscar!

1) I feel like we should spare Checo, cause honestly this man has had enough as third wheel of Maxiel and Lestappen, I don't wanna give him extra traumas, SO –

2) Logan Sargeant: this one I really feel guilty about. Cause I like the narrative of him and Oscah being besties and still I cry over the sad edits of Logan just left behind. I think Landoscar with Logan has the most space for improvement?? I forgive Oscar even tho he definitely ghosted the poor Logan for the whole honeymoon phase with Lando (it's been almost two years, Osc, get a grip). I have a feeling Logan will speak up at some point and this would shake Oscar a little, so maybe he would be the more aware and more involved third wheel, possibly? They'll end up doing triple video-games championships with Lando and Logan mocking Oscar's gaming skills, mark my words.

3) Carlos Sainz: my man how does it feel to know you've wasted your chance (multiple chances, lets be real) for good? I have mixed ideas about this one, cause I think it would probably being more like Lando struggling to keep them both as close as possible resulting in Oscar being rightfully jealous 👀👀 so the third wheeling situation would be like Lando trying to involve a very annoyed and confused Carlos in their things (safe for work, ofc). I don't really see a way out of it.

4) Daniel Ricciardo: I mention him but I can't really explain cause honestly my idea of Daniel third-wheeling Landoscar is either him babysit them around Australia and bonding with Oscar over weird aussie habits OR OR OR something very NOT SAFE WORK so ( ... )

5) Max Verstappen: I love to think he'll remain an unbothered king, you know? Like he's well aware and a bit upset that his crepes companion invited someone else (beside from Daniel) to their dessert dates and that the two of them acts like lovebirds even without an actual physical contact. He'll probably send SOS texts to Charles and Daniel until a topic of (his) interest comes out and honestly at that point the power of maxplaining will win over pretty much everything and everyone. At the end of the day Landoscar turn out to be the real victims.

6) George Russell: poor thing was originally invited for a golf morning from Carlos (Landoscar were already supposed to attend), but Chili called off last minute so Georgie ended up with just the others two. LET ME TELL YOU he jumped off the golf cart cause he saw Lando placing a hand on Oscar's thigh and feared for his life. It took several minutes for them to notice he was aggressively walking behind. He was also hit by a golf ball because Oscar distracted Lando for a second too long, I guess you can figure out the rest.

7) Special mention to the PR and the McLaren team in general who's main job rn is having them to SIMPLY F O C U S outside the pit for like interviews and debriefings. I can picture Lando losing it after hearing a single compliment like "SO YOU THINK I'M PRETTY", cause ✨babygirl✨ energy hitting here and there, even tho he has tried to be somehow a model for Oscar, at least for what concerns work. Indeed I pity trainers and strategists bc ofc Oscar listens at them, but image them trying to explain a concept to him just for Lando to get there and rephrase it in the dumbest way possible and Oscar going like OHHHHH NOW I GOT IT, COULDN'T YOU EXPLAIN IT THAT WAY?

8) This is mostly a guilty pleasure but do we all agree they torture the entire f1 group chat with their subtle flirting?

if you figure it out tho , hed gladly accept any ticket you give him. doesnt matter if general or backstage access — your performances are moments that he holds close to him , outside of RAD WEEKEND.

This one I highly recommend, it's so cute, and the way the author played with fairy tales is fun. Fair warning tho, Erik doesn't stay at the end of this fic. But Charles' heart is a bit more mended.

So much work ahead, it really eats away my time, I've noticed, couldn't finish artworks recently. Mostly tried to work on that one AU drawing to have it almost done. But all this research eats my time which results in less time for art. Then I watch everyone else draw so much and I sit there thinking, man..

When I listen to soundfiles I can't draw at the same time since I need to stay focused on the sounds. However I managed to listen through 2k yesterday. I really really wanna be sure I have all the sounds for the Muir video, I literally found a different version of a perch howl yesterday! That one was not inside the actual Muir folder.

raaaah, the lore thickens. This could mean I can stumble upon other soundfiles from Muir that aren't in his Puppet folder. I only have... 16000 files to go through now. Number is getting smaller (I managed to listen to over 8.000 now).

If anyone ever wonders if I'll make a video of the soundfiles of other Puppets... maybe.. but I'd have to sort all these darn soundfiles from the Media folder. It's probably why people before me didn't bother at all. It took me over 2h and 30min to listen to 2000 files. Now calculate how much I need for 16000

I always had problems managing my time (nothing new for me, so don't be confused if I do 6273728 things at once XD), tho I probably will figure out how to deal with this at some point. I always got yelled at, at my old workplace for taking too long on things, even tho my coworker kept giving me new tasks to work on so I couldn't finish the first thing he wanted, so he became more angry at me if I spend 3 weeks on something. Or spend 3 days on a task he usually finishes in 1 day, like. What? Like, he became soooo weird about it, that he tried to be angry about anythiiiing. And then he got confused when he heard what I told other coworkers in private. When he said that, I got flashbacks to my other uncle being angry that I told teachers how bad I felt mentally (at school). This is so confusing

I got praised for my work in the new job, which is wild that they don't expect me to work like a machine but to take my time. People aren't so focused on speed here.

So I don't know if my way of working on things is super bad, or if it's just dunno, big projects require so much energy and time. And then I watch everyone do so much art and I'm like waaaaiiit I wanna draw too Aaaaaaa. I wish I could eat art, because I frkn love art so much I shake my fists in the air whenever I see gorgeous artworks from others. Or see some absolutely stunning moviessssss.

I need to buy frames- I need to hang some drawings.

For the Ask Game - Love to hear your thoughts on Xanxus and Squalo

It took me a bit too long but my babies deserve all my undivided attention. So here we are.

Do I ship them? Well. They are my beloveds. One of those OTPs that have been with me for 13? 14? years at this point. The one ship that dragged me back into this fandom and that resides in my head constantly. The amount of scenarios, sagas, headcanons I have about them is outstanding. A bit concerning, maybe. I think about them every night to sleep and I have done so for at least two years. That is the level of brainrot I have. That is how much I love them.

What made you ship it?

Well, they are just them. They're one of thos ships that you don't have to look for. You don't have to invent anything. They are just there, written in the manga for everyone to read. One could say that they are fated, but honestly? They chose each other, and that's one of the most beautiful things. Squalo chose Xanxus when he was 14, and never relented for a moment. He cut off his hand, he grew his hair to an absurd lenght. Waited for him to come back for 8 years not even knowing if it would ever happen and then stayed. What is more touching than such devotion?

Talking about Xanxus... I know we see much less of him in that sense. But even then, we do know that Squalo is the one he cares for the most. We know that in the future arc he was at his grumpiest without his rain. There is much more that can be "made up" about him, but isn't that what makes characters more interesting?

What are your favorite things about the ship?

I think i have already answered this one. I can just add that I love their complementarity. The black and the white one, the loud and the silent one, the outgoing and the introvert one. The crazy one with his life togheter and the other crazy one that needs to figure it all out (don't you tell me Xanxus has anything figured out, please).

It's just them. Unseparable. Dependent on each other to function. Beautiful.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

This one might make me salty. I don't have an unpopular opinion on the ship per se, but more of its perception in the fandom, I guess? I might unwillingly offend someone. But. I truly cannot stand those who make Xanxus the abusive boyfriend and Squalo the poor victim only to then have him fuck someone else. That is the shallowest interpretation of them, and takes away the complex feelings that form their bond. Also, more in general, I am disbelieved too by the fact that so few people seem to get them. Dears. It's all written there. There is nothing to imagine even. Only the part where they kiss and fuck for the rest of their lives. What is so difficult about it. Why am I almost alone on this ship. Uff.

We've finally arrived at the gates I looked outside again and on top of the gates said "NEVERMORE ACADEMY" it looked almost like a haunted house but I think it looks cool my vibe tbh we got into what looks like the lobby we got out and took out my bags out of the car after we took them out we started to walk up to the door where I saw a beautiful tall lady she walked up to us and I could already feel my cheeks heating up as she stood infront of us I could see how much taller she is than me "Hello I assume you are Y/N Y/L/N right?" The lady asked "I- Yes yes I'm Y/N" I said "I'm Larissa Weems you may call me Principle Weems It's nice to meet you" She said with a smile god this woman would be the death of me in pretty sure she can see how red I'm, "N-Nice t-to meet you too Principle Weems" I finally said out loud "Let's go up to my office and than after that we will show you your dorm" Weems said "Alright" both of my parents said at the same time

Weems said while making eye contact with me I turned very red while looking into her ocean blue eyes "you've certainly had a very interesting educational journey 14 schools under 9 years" Weems said "They haven't built one strong enough to hold me, I bet this place won't be any different" I said Weems just looked at me blankly while my father just nodded "What our daughter is trying to say is thag she will greatly appreciates the opportunity" My father said "Oh yeah on here on your file it says you're 23 years old is that true?" Weems asked "Yes I'm 23 years old I started school late" I said trying not to be rude "Well Nevermore doesn't usually accept students mid-term, But given Y/N's perfect grades, And your family's long history with the school I've spoken with the board. And we've made an exception" Weems said with a smile "Larissa, What about Y/N's umm... Therapy session? The court ordered them" My mother said I really wished she had forgotten about that but I guess not "Hmm, The school has a relationship with a therapist in Jericho, She can meet twice a week" Weems said with a soft smile "Did you hear that, My little storm cloud? You're in excellent hands" My father said with a huge smile "Let's see if she survives the first session" I mumbled everyone in the room couldn't hear what I said "you won't be having a roommate sadly but I think you'll like the idea of not having a roommate actually" Weems said with a huge smile that made her look 10x cuter "Shall we go to your dorm?" She said I just nodded at the beautiful lady because if I said anything else I would ended up being redder than I already was

"Here we are" Weems said with a another smile creeping on her face I looked around "I think I might actually like it here" I said as Weems smile grew wider and a light shade of red came on her face

DAN HENG.FOR THE CHARACTER ASK GAME!!

Cold Dragon Young!

General opinion/How much I care about them: Man, Dan Heng is such a fun guy. You see this quiet dude and you think he's probably all plain and straight-laced, but then he, in no particular order: gets into a an underground fight club tournament (and wins??), breaks a military fleet's banishment sentence to save his pals, and gets a whole cutscene wherethe idiot almost kisses the mc (there's no way that was a proper CPR attempt. He was 100% bullshitting his way there).

The way they handled his background and character arc makes me very sad tho. I wish the writers took their time with playing out his backstory; it could've been so much better if they waited long enough to let us get to know him and everyone else involved a little better, to see his struggle with the very interesting ship of theseus theme he has going on in light of Dan Feng's history, and deliver on all that in a way that's actually impactful in emotion and story relevance, instead of rushing it in favor of getting to the bossfight of the quest. Alas, it is what it is.

At least he got out of it with something! I mean, who can say no to 1 more little sister :D

A non-romantic relationship that I love: THE ASTRAL EXPRESS. Sometimes a family is a retired Herrscher, the creator of The Dreaded Coffee™, a lonely dragon with autism, a calendar day in an ice cube, a funky ticking time bomb, and the bunny carrying the whole train on their back.

They are everything to me. Their groupchat is literally called The Astral Express Family. I love them your honor I hope they all live happy and peaceful and prosperous lives and hopefully don't get their 3rd stabbed member in a row when we head to the next planet. The Astral Express checks offs all the right boxes of wholesome and sweet for the found family enjoyer that is yours truly, which is just- mwah. I love them so so so much.

(Bonus shoutout to Bailu AKA the new little sister I mentioned a bit above. I NEED to see more of her and Dan Heng together, they're just adorable.)

The NOTP: Danmarch, Danstelle and Dancae. I just. don't see it. They're so sibling-coded to me, it feels off to see them in a romantic context.

My biggest headcanon about them: I think all Vidyadhara are cold-blooded by virtue of being dragons, so Dan Heng prefers to sleep on the floor of the archives because, given the amount of devices running in such a small space, it's always the warmest place on the Express. Or so he thinks until March drags him and Stelle for a sleepover in her room and builds a pillow fort. Turns out their newest member is actually a portable heater, and the pillows and blankets are also very warm and comfy too and- wait, what's that sweet feeling?

...Oh no.

Now he wants to try this again.

An idea for a fanfiction I would like to write/read about them: 5 times people smile at Dan Heng + the one time he smiles at them. Featuring me-typical express fam appearances, a sprinkle of Bailu and a dash of Jing Yuan, and maaaybe a hint of that one ghost from the past.

Now if only I can find something along those lines or figure out how to write it myself... hmm...

Matthew Patel hearcannons pls XD (I luv him s0 much it hurtz)

omg my first ask! well, ask and ye shall receive! he’s probably my second fav ex (behind roxy, of course) so i definitely have thought about him quite a bit

So anyway:

Matthew Patel headcanons!

I’m still figuring out an exact backstory behind how he got his fire powers (I have a vague idea figured out but it is partially influenced by the religion/mythology of a culture outside my own & I just wanna make sure I do enough research to make sure I’ve written it respectfully, or else just do something different), but he’s had them for as long as he can remember. He had a hard time controlling them when he was younger, and that unfortunately led to him being ostracized by his peers growing up. He did have a loving family, though; his mother did her best raising him given the circumstances, and the two have a close relationship to this day.

He met Ramona in seventh grade, and she was one of the first people to not be afraid of him or label him as “weird;” in fact, she thought his powers were actually pretty cool. She was a bit of an outcast herself, and the two of them bonded over their shared status as misfits.

They also bonded over their shared hatred of the jocks; Matt because they bullied him, and Ramona bc they kept trying to hit on her. You know how it goes from here; they teamed up and took them down.

They dated for about a week and a half, but then Ramona dumped him out of nowhere, claiming she just wasn’t interested anymore. Matt was very hurt and confused by this, and it soon became clear to him that she was just using him for his powers (which was true to an extent, but she ultimately did care about him as a friend).

Angry and humiliated, Matt lost control of his temper (ergo, his powers, which are largely connected to his emotions) and his entire body lit on fire in a sudden burst of rage. He thankfully didn’t hurt Ramona, but she was standing close enough to get startled pretty badly without getting burned.

He only calmed down once he saw the look of terror in her eyes and the way she flinched back and he realized, with horror, what he had done. He let his anger get the better of him. He could’ve seriously injured her, or even killed her; the first true friend he ever made. And now she only saw him the way everyone else did. He tried to apologize, but she ran away frightened before he could get a word in. He’s carried the guilt of that day with him ever since.

Things were super awkward between them for the rest of middle school; they both wanted to say something about how they handled things, but were both too chicken to make the first move, so they just kinda avoided each other until they went to different high schools.

It was around this time he accidentally summoned the Demon Hipster Chicks, who helped him learn how to better hone his abilities, while also encouraging him to the dark side. This is where his “evil” phase began; he decided that if people were going to see him as a villain, then so be it (except he wasn’t actually evil at his core, just a melodramatic theatre kid edgelord who leaned into the Disney Villain schtick so people would quit bothering him even tho no one really took him THAT seriously). He had much better control of his powers at this point and was at a new school with mostly different people than his elementary/middle school, but didn’t see the point in making new friends bc he figured it would just end badly (if you remember the “they all hated me” scene from Meet the Robinsons, that was kinda his attitude during that period of his life). He definitely had a few girls try to flirt with him who thought he was all dark and brooding and mysterious, but he brushed them off bc he didn’t want a repeat of what happened with Ramona (unfortunately, this only made them more interested).

Several years pass, Matt gets a better handle on his powers, and Gideon recruits him into the League of Evil Exes. Matt is hesitant at first because he just wants to forget any of that ever happened, but Gideon plays on his insecurities (as he does with all the other exes) and conflicting feelings towards Ramona, and is able to successfully manipulate him to his side.

Before the fights started, Gideon had all the exes get together for a certain period of time to train and spar with each other so they could prepare (he probably called it “team bonding exercises” like the corporate asshole he is).

It’s during this point that he meets Lucas Lee, who he develops a (heavily repressed) crush on (I’m still deciding whether I hc him as gay or bi, but either way he likes men) and Roxy Richter, who he eventually befriends BUT starts out developing an intense, bitter rivalry with. Neither can stand the other; they’re constantly bickering with each other (often over whether pirates or ninjas are superior), trying to push each other’s buttons or one-up the other, or taunting each other during sparring matches. Lucas, being the chill dude he is, usually acts as a mediator when things get heated.

But one day Lucas isn’t around while they’re sparring, things go haywire, a nerve gets struck, and Matt accidentally burns Roxy’s arm during their fight. Matt freaks out because 1. he’s reminded of what happened with Ramona and 2. he doesn’t wanna get in trouble with Gideon (think of it like someone fighting with their younger sibling and hitting them, then the younger one starts crying & the older one is trying to calm them down before their parents show up), so he whisks her away so he can bandage her up himself (bc when you grow up like he has, you gotta know how to treat a burn wound).

Roxy protests throughout the whole process, insisting that she can take care of herself just fine (even though it’s at least a second-degree burn), but Matt insists that no she can’t so just let him do this one thing. They start to open up to one another and learn about each other’s reasons for being in the League & history with Ramona, and begin to realize they have more similarities than they initially thought. They both realize that Ramona had used them in some capacity (Matt for his powers, Roxy for her sexuality; hooo boy just you WAIT until I get into her backstory), they still have a lot of conflicting feelings about her (Matt feels guilty over almost hurting her, while Roxy is still in love with her at this point), and they both just don’t like Scott.

From then on, they become the most inseparable best friends to ever best friend. Shortly after, Lucas gets roped into their shenanigans and they form an unstoppable trio of besties. Roxy is all-too-aware of Matt’s crush on Lucas and teases him about it every chance she gets.

Things are fun, and then Matt’s fight comes up and he gets demolished. Roxy is devastated, Lucas can only stare in shock (HC that during fights, the remaining League members are scattered throughout the audience as a precautionary measure to make sure everything goes as planned & no one gets cold feet), & Roxy makes Lucas promise he’ll win the next fight for Matt.

Matt respawns in Subspace (think the scene where Scott almost gets killed & wakes up in the dream desert, except it looks different for everyone), and once his body fully heals he wakes up back in his room having learned his lesson, but also realizing that Gideon has been using them all as pawns.

During Lucas’s fight he manages to get Roxy away from the crowd, she realizes he’s not dead (first she punches him in the gut & then hugs him while saying something to the effect of “don’t you ever scare me like that again you asshole”) and he tries to convince her that the League isn’t worth it. She realizes the situation she’s gotten herself in, but feels like she’s already in too deep (plus part of the reason she joined was to prove herself; both to Ramona and in general, and she’s still determined to do so), and even if she wanted to leave (which she does now that her only friends are gone) they’re all bound by contract until the job is done.

At some point during all this, he moves in with Lucas (just as housemates…at first *wink*), and then Roxy moves in with them for a period of time until she starts dating Envy and they move in together. Between the three of them, he’s the best cook by a landslide.

He does eventually reconcile with Ramona after the events of the main story (NOT romantically, just for the purposes of getting closure); he apologizes for losing his temper and almost burning her to a crisp when they were kids, and to his surprise she responds that, while she was definitely scared in the moment, she ultimately hasn’t held it against him too much since he was still controlling his powers, and they acknowledge that they were both dumb preteens who didn’t know any better and were dealing with dumb preteen feelings.

I’m debating for the above scene to take place while he’s in Subspace post-battle (once again, similar to Scott after he gets killed), but I’ve also already had a similar scene with Roxy planned out in my HC for a long time (once again, just you WAIT until I get into that); I’m wondering if something like this could happen for all the exes so she could have a chance to get closure with them if she wanted to but idk if this would be too repetitive or defeat the purpose of her character arc in the canon story.

His friendship with Roxy is almost entirely made up of affectionate snark, daring each other to do dumb shit, gossip, attempting to one-up each other on karaoke night (or just scream-singing in the car together) and at various video games, and incredibly long-winded conversations about their favorite movies and respective love lives (and unsuccessfully trying to convince the other to just tell their crush how they feel). To give you an idea, imagine Steve & Robin from Stranger Things if they leaned more chaotic neutral.

As mentioned earlier, he’s a huge, proudly unabashed theatre kid; he grew up watching a lot of musicals & Bollywood movies & was pretty heavily involved in his high school drama club when he wasn’t being an edgy loner.

Thanks to his powers, he himself is completely immune to fire.

There’s probably more I can’t think of off the top of my head, that I’m still figuring out, or that was covered in my “randomly assorted” post, but if I think of anything else I’ll add it here!

Did a lot of the obvious headcanons where everyone is aged up a bit+unrelated ('cept of Ikki and Shun ofc) because it's dumb how improbable it all is

-Ikki was besties with the black saints too because I think their dynamics would be super funny

-Everyone is great as a group, it'll be Seiya who'll usually initiate meetups as a whole group or sometimes they'll all just run into each other when going out somewhere 

-Ikki never texts in the group chat because he doesn't have the app they use. 

-He only calls people which is also still rare. 

-He'll be the type who calls at the middle of the night to drive somewhere random. 

Hyoga: *sleeping* Hears his phone go off and he sluggishly picks up.  Hyoga: “Who is this?” Ikki: “Wake up and get ready. We're going somewhere.” Hyoga: “Ikki?! It's in the middle of the night!” Ikki: “I'll be there in 5.” Hyoga: “Did you call me because no one else picked up?” Ikki: “…” *Line ends* *A few hours later Hyoga sends Shun the number used to call him* "I think this is your brother's number..."

And that's how the gang figured out Ikki had a phone. They all had to figure out his phone number through just passing it over. 

One more phone shenanigan, one of the first people he calls is Shaka when he gets a phone but he doesn't own one ofc so the only next option would be…

Aioria: Hello? Ikki: Are you with Shaka right now? Aioria: Excuse me? Is this Ikki? Also why would you assume he'd be here with me?! Ikki: I asked are you with Shaka right now? *silence* Aioria: Yeah... 

-Ikki and Shiryu are the only ones in the group who are really awkward with each other. They always need a third person to balance them out

-Ikki thinks that they're cool, but Shiryu doesn't appreciate his type of banter  

-Shiryu doesn't have good sarcasm skills because he's too earnest. If he throws shade, he'll just low blow you 

-I feel like at least Seiya, Shiryu, and Shun keep in touch with the other 5 Bronzes

-Probably most frequent person they run into is Jabu

-Apparently, Jabu goes through a goth phase

Future Bronzes

-Out of the main 5, Seiya is the only one to become promoted to a Gold Saint afterwards since everyone else retires. Though they still can use the armor if they need to. 

-Shiryu settles down as a farmer 

-Hyoga ???? actor AU????, He's not the type to share about his personal life so his childhood is a mystery to the world and the only info found of him from back then was his short-lived wrestling career(lol) during the Galaxian Wars

-Shun and Ikki don't take the armors either, I like doctor Shun so I'll keep that

Body types

From ripped to leanest: Shiryu, Ikki, Hyoga, Seiya, Shun

Shiryu- Clearly the most physically fit of the five. He punches like and is a tank but he's also very agile despite his frame. 

Ikki- Has a stocky build with broad shoulders. Definitely had to fight the most so it's been building up for years. 

Hyoga- He's not huge but he has a pretty fit and toned body. Probably from all of the swimming. 

Seiya- Still more on a muscular side but still pretty lean compared to the other buffer dudes. 

Shun- Just lean, he's not great if we're talking raw strength-wise but has more defensive skills to make up for it.

Sleep headcanons

Seiya- Heavy sleeper, snores a lot, he's the type to starfish and hit people on accident, making sleepovers somewhat of a nightmare. 

Shiryu- The type to fall deadly silent and still when he's asleep so that people think he's dead. Luckily, he's a light sleeper and won't be too hard to wake up. 

Hyoga- He lightly snores but is a sleep talker and will say some of the craziest shit ever and never have any memories of doing so. 

Shun- Most normal sleeper out of the bunch, but is deathly scary when being awakened. The gang will swear Hades is still in him from the dirty looks he gives if he's disturbed. 

Ikki- The type of bloke to go snork mimimi.

Cafe Orders(these were from my sister since she's an expert in the field because I'm not a person who goes to cafes regularly)

Shun- Matcha Latte

Shiryu- Oolong Tea

ok like i said on twitter here's a bullet point list on my dragon ball yaoi opinions

Goku/Vegeta: i know this is most popular for obvious reasons but this is a classic case of fujos deluding themselves. im not gonna say vegeta hasn't experienced some level of attraction towards goku but like he fully does love bulma and i genuinely dont think goku is capable of romantic or sexual attraction. that said i think their relationship as it is in canon is pretty interesting even without putting on the yaoi goggles

Gohan/Piccolo: this one i kind of get. people want gohan to have yaoi and he does have a pretty special bond with piccolo but this bond is explicitly a father/son thing. piccolo literally says in the show that gohan is like his own son. "piccolo is technically around the same age as gohan" he was obviously mentally an adult when gohan was a toddler so dont even try honestly

Gohan/Dende: if you REALLY need to ship gohan with a man this is your only real choice. its cute and had a lot potential pre-saiyaman saga but after videl i can only see it being one-sided. poor dende

Gohan/Trunks: ok this one needs to be evaluated on a case by case basis so lets break it down

Future Trunks/Future Gohan: after everyone else died gohan probably had to help bulma change trunks's diapers and keep him entertained and stuff so trunks was like a little brother to him. for trunks though gohan was this really cool masculine ideal that he was chasing after and i think its not a stretch to say those feelings took on a distinctly non-plantonic tint during puberty even tho he knew gohan would never see him that way. its safe to say gohan was future trunks's first (and only?) love

Future Trunks/Present Gohan: the roles have been inverted, now trunks is the cool powerful adult and gohan is the kid trying to match his strength. i think if they had been able to spend enough time one-on-one gohan might've developed a similar crush but with how little they saw each other and how high tension the situation was he was just left with the feeling that long hair really suited him...

Present Trunks/Present Gohan: we know canonically gohan was on babysitting duty for goten and trunks both. they have a brotherly relationship and trunks thinks gohan is kind of lame for being a nerd but he still looks up to him at times. no yaoi to be found this time around

Goten/Trunks: NOW we're talking! this is the crowning jewel of dragon ball yaoi. they grew up together, they're best friends who spend all their time together, they're the poster boys of fusion, they're literally attached at the hip. its got everything you could ask for in a good ship. case in point: gt and super both tried to make them het and they still haven't managed to put a single dent on their popularity. i hope they get married and have full saiyan babies
