‘Socialism has never worked’?
What do you call Russia, China, and Cuba functionally eradicating homelessness and illiteracy in their respective spheres within a few years of the massive upheaval of revolution, and radically improving the living conditions of millions after generations of poverty? What do you call the Soviet Union bearing the brunt of the greatest military conflict the world has ever seen and emerging victorious? What do you call the Soviet Union holding out for four decades of sustained military and economic warfare against the greatest military and economic superpower the world has ever known? What do you call Vietnam defeating the greatest military empire the world has ever known in its anti-imperialist resistance campaign? What do you call China emerging from the 20th Century as the most populous country on earth with the highest GDP? What do you call China reducing daily covid numbers to double digits in a population of 1.4 billion? What do you call Cuba thriving after six decades of brutal embargoes? What do you call Cuba passing the most progressive and practically protective legislation for family and LGBT rights in a world historical moment marked by increased LGBTphobia among the Western powers? What do you call the people of Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Eastern Europe shrugging off the muck of ages to usher in an era of progress, all while Western powers conspire to sabotage them at every turn while growing fat off the earth they’ve scorched?
I’d ask what history books you’re reading, but I know that you’re not reading any, and the only information you have on the subject is spoon-fed into your colonised mind by the people’s enemies, whose vested interest in fabricating events is readily apparent to any who bother to look into these things.
‘Socialism has never worked’? It has been one of the dominant political-economic models of the past century, and has made drastic strides on every front despite its relative infancy and constant opposition from Western superpowers. If you fear socialism, what do you really fear? Socialism is the people. Socialism is me; socialism is you; socialism is all of us, together.
‘Socialism has never worked’? Socialism has always worked. Socialism is working right now. We will see socialism work again, always.

immigration is so intrinsically part of britain. the country would not exist without it in so many ways. like for fuck's sake can these national front wannabe fuckers not remember primary school history lessons? do they not see how vital organisations/institutions/pieces of infrastructure like the nhs are kept alive by the fantastic work of countless immigrants and people of colour?

are we Actually living in a time where an unprecedented number of people are incapable of engaging with subtext and prone to treating all fiction like moral parables or are we just living in a time when more people than ever before in human history have the ability to share their uninspired, surface level, and completely off-based opinions on fictional media where thousands and thousands and thousands of strangers can see it.

Did the FBI ever finish analysing that balloon? Are they having fun with it? Have they found a way to report that it's not a spy balloon in a way that's still racist?

[Brainstorming couple's costumes for a chatter who's getting married]
Phil: [Reading Kristin's chat message] "Oh, if it's two men getting married, then maybe Sonic and Knuckles costume." Ohhh.
Phil: Shadow and Sonic would be toxic yaoi. Sonic and Knuckles wouldn't be as toxic I think, so like... it depends on the relationship vibes, if they wanna do a toxic yaoi or just a regular yaoi— [Wheezes and laughs]

Maybe I'm overreacting or w/e, but I think it's a tad bit weird that whenever someone online questions if they're aromantic, people always tell them they're AroAce specifically, even if they never mention sexuality or anything relating to their sexual attraction. Just like. "Hey I'm not interested in romance. What is that called?" - "Oh, you're AroAce!" And then they even often giving only half the definition by telling them "AroAce means experiencing little to no romantic attraction", without mention sexual attraction, which is, like, half the identity.
Even more weird when the questioning person does talk about sex and specifically enjoying sex (often with wording that actually does imply sexual attraction to be present) and then the answer is "you can be AroAce and still want sex!" which is true and all but basically nobody besides AlloAros themselves ever mention the possibility that you can be aromantic without being asexual. Nope. If you're aromantic, you must be asexual.
Which is then how you get these people who come online again to ask "Is it possible to be aro but not ace?" because all everyone ever told them the first time and all times after that was that if they're aromantic, they must be asexual. Which keeps them from finding out themselves for much longer (I know because that happened to me.)
Like. Sure, it could be that they're AroAce,and yes, even if they do enjoy sex. That is all true and fine. But why is everyone who isn't AlloAro or otherwise non-ace aro so unwilling to portray being aromantic but not asexual as just a mere possibility to questioning aros? Why not just mention both of these things so the questioning person knows what to look up?

I hate how Jews here feel the need to give the "I'm pro-Palestine, pro-peace and donate to Palestinian aid" disclaimer before daring to call out 1930s grade antisemitism.
I have my disagreements with anti-Zionist Jews(NOT synonymous with the Jews Idiscussed above), but if they'll have me(BIG big if), I will not hesitate to jump to their side when it comes to calling out Protocols of the Elders of Zion tropes with swapped words.
I know why they do it - because that's the only way they have a faint chance of being taken seriously when they talk about receiving death threats, being doxxed and dismissed on the spot as "being hysterical".
Why is Jewish humanity conditional on centering everyone but ourselves?
Why can't Jews as a whole be seen and believed when we say "we experience antisemitism"?
Why do some Jewish opinions(ones that don't involve centering goyim, Palestinian or otherwise) make your stance on antisemitism invalid?
