Seeing him like this, his head resting in your lap and his eyes shut in pure bliss made you fall even more in love with him. You’re staring down at him when his eyes open, his lips splitting into a cheeky grin. “What are you staring at?”

“My handsome and amazing boyfriend.” You pretend not to notice the way his cheeks tinge pink, but it has to be one of the most adorable things you’ve ever seen. He sits up from your lap and you whine, asking him where he’s going.

“Calm down, I just wanna look at you better.” He laughs, moving behind you. You squeal as he pulls you into his lap, slapping his chest when you’re finally settled and straddling him.

“You could’ve told me to move, you didn’t have to manhandle me.” You pout at him and he laughs, shaking his head.

“I thought you liked me manhandling you.” He wiggles his eyebrows and you gasp, swatting him on the chest again. He laughs, shaking his head at your dramatic reaction.

You stay like that for a while, admiring each other in a comfortable silence. Your hips eventually start to hurt from the way you’re sitting so, much to Art’s amusement, you flop beside him. He giggles as he turns on his side to look at you, a lovesick look in his eyes.

“Do you ever think of starting a family?” The question comes out of the blue, your eyebrows raising as you look at him.

“Honestly, yeah. Especially with you.” You say it sheepishly, your cheeks tinging pink at the admission.

“So you think about fuc-”

You cut him off before he can even finish speaking, “Art don’t you dare ruin this cute moment.” He laughs, throwing his hands up in defense.

“Sorry, sorry. I think about starting a family with you too. We’d obviously have to get married first, but I definitely see that happening in the future.” His words make your heart flutter, you’d never really talked about this with Art before.

“How many kids would you want?” Your hand finds its way to his hair, your fingers brushing through the blonde locks. He hums softly, his eyes shutting.

“One or two, but I don’t care how many we have as long as we have a daughter.” His words make you chuckle and he halfway open his eyes to give you a questioning look.

“I’ve always imagined you as a girl dad when I would think about our future. I can see you spoiling her, making sure she has everything she could want and more. Playing dress up with her, going to daddy-daughter dances. You’d treat her like a little princess.”

He grins, nodding his head with his eyes still closed. “You’d be my queen and she’d be our princess. You guys wouldn’t have to worry about a thing.”

You can tell he’s nearly half asleep from the way he’s talking, his words slightly slurred. One of the many things you loved about Art is that he’d almost always be out like a light if you ran your fingers through his hair.

Before you can even open your mouth to respond, he’s snoring softly. You giggle, shaking your head. You shuffle closer towards him and he instinctively reaches out for you, pulling you into his chest. You close your eyes, a small smile on your face as you fantasize about the family you’d one day have with Art.

You know, I’m reading this biography of Arnold Schwarzenegger (Total Recall… lol) and he proposed to Maria Shriver on a lake holiday ;__; Like, they were in this boat Arnold was rowing around and I thought: this is so König coded!

So yep König would take his girl on a boat ride so that she can’t escape when he pops the question. He also wants to propose in the most romantic, intimate possible setting! It doesn't hurt that it's midsummer too, the birds are singing and bees are buzzing and flowers are blooming and there’s a soft breeze playing in her hair, perhaps she’s wearing a dress again because it’s so hot.

König has a tendency of losing his shirt every now and then, but this time, he will intentionally leave it on the shore as the day is one of the hottest summer days yet, and he knows he will get sweaty when he rows that little boat. His Engel suspects nothing, the cutest girl in the world just takes in the lake view, not paying attention to how this guy is rowing a little too enthusiastically for it to be a short simple joy ride on a hot summer day…

And then he just suddenly stops, deciding this is as good a spot as any, puts the oars away and reaches for his pocket. He doesn’t even get to say the words before her hands fly on her mouth when she sees he’s pulling out a ring. König was supposed to drop on one knee and ask for her hand but Engel starts to cry from happiness and he is so excited to go to her and put the ring on her finger that he capsizes the whole thing.

Our overexcited hero then has to save his angel from drowning and the ring slips and ends up somewhere at the bottom of the lake. König spends the rest of the afternoon diving to get it back while Engel relaxes on the grass, naked, trying to dry their clothes in the sun and admiring what a great lung capacity her future husband has O_o deep diving for the ring for like 15 times before he finally finds it and brings it to her, rising from the lake like some Olympian God, muscles wet and bronzed in the sun, smiling so, so wide when he finally gets on one knee before his lady ❤️ They’re both naked like Adam & Eve in paradise, the world around them is like it was the first day when God created it... It’s not what König had planned, but in a way it’s even more romantic than his original idea!

And as for your question does he truly love reader or simply wants a wife… Well, both!? People always say it’s girls who traditionally dream about getting married but in König’s case, he was the boy who dreamed he would some day win a girl and get to take them home as a prize take care of them.

He has never been a dating kinda guy, if König gets up close and personal with you, his main goal is to propose at some point. (Imagine if you wanted a relationship but didn’t want to get married because of this reason or that, didn’t see it necessary or smth, and König would be like… "Ok…" and internally cry himself to sleep :'( )

NMTDaily: And So It Begins

- Beatrice’s first vlog! What an opening line, I love it lol. I remembered the hand wave on “hello, people of the Internet” having a wider arc across the screen than it actually does, funny enough! Glad I didn’t specify the wide wave when I referenced this line in MARRIED, the fic I posted on the 25th.

- “I’m not too old for Halloween”, girl after my own heart!

- Always thought it was interesting that Bea’s mother is American. I wonder how/why they decided that. It’s the kind of super specific detail that makes Bea feel so real, because who would make that up? It’s also interesting that it means Bea and Ben’s families are both somewhat international. Another parallel for them, another thing they have in common.

- I bet the Aunties’ wedding was the cutest thing ever, imagine Hero and Leo standing up with them! That’s probably the last time all of the Dukes were together before the story starts.

- I’m surprised Bea’s parents moved because her dad got a promotion. I would have assumed her mom did, because we get the impression of her as the high-powered businesswoman. But good for Bea’s dad. Is it canon that he’s a university professor? (Promotion = tenure?) Or did I make that up for fanfic and/or confuse him with Ben’s parents being professors in canon? Listening for that. Maybe Bea’s dad was actually also a business person all along and that’s how her parents met. Who knows.

- Bea says Australia like I say Indiana, lol (no hate to anyone from Indiana though! Just another of those inborn rivalries with the neighbor, like the Oz/NZ one.)

- “A great science program” I forgot Bea was a science person!

- I always loved the set decoration in this room, I remember it’s Hero’s room, and it’s so artsy and cozy and pretty. Love the wall art.

- “Leo and I are in charge of the house for the next six months” Excuse me, does this series really only take place over six months? Well, it ends in the first week of November, so that’s seven full months. I think it felt like it lasted a whole year when it was airing though. Time slowed down during a certain arc for sure.

- “in-joke with myself!” Classic. I kind of love that the text on screen saying “good one Beatrice” is Bea talking to herself again in-world, but out-of-world it’s kind of the Candle Wasters talking, interacting both with their own main character and with the audience. Meta.

- “Sorry my life is so boring” are like, THE famous last words for an LIW protagonist. Honey, you got a big storm coming!

- I was always so incredibly impressed with Beatrice’s independence, her comfort with leaving her parents and essentially being on her own before she even finished high school. I was alone in a college dorm hours away from home when I first watched this, second semester of freshman year if I’m not mistaken, and I could barely believe I’d managed it. I couldn’t imagine doing that any earlier than I had. I thought she was so brave and cool. I think Bea actually shows more hesitation and nervousness than I realized she did in this episode, both because she’s not used to vlogging yet and because being in a new place is nerve-wracking, but I still think she’s so brave.

- It’s so interesting that in a reversal of the play, it’s our Beatrice who comes from away to Messina to start the story, instead of Benedick and the other men returning from war. Of course, we’ll see how the boys’ arrival on the scene is modernized soon enough!

- Harriett does such a great job making you care about Bea and like her right from the start. You just want to keep listening to her talk. I can’t wait to do just that over the next seven months.

- The Benedict Cumberbatch crush is a stroke of genius, but what are the odds that there happens to be a super famous guy named Benedict that you can reference who is at peak relevance in the exact year your MAAN modernization premieres? Truly, this series as it exists could only have happened in 2014. It was the perfect time and the perfect people. What luck.

- Oh, this is the wider arc hand wave I was remembering! It’s just at the end of the video and not the beginning. Funny!

- Covering the camera with her hand and ducking out of frame at the end of her first video is a direct parallel to what Bea and Hero do in their final NMTD video, sliding out of frame and all. Love that.

- I can’t believe how much there is to talk about even with these early episodes. These posts are gonna get so long they’ll have to go under a cut for the later episodes!

to be completely honest i don't have a lot of headcanons for them being parents

BUT

ada would 100% be an amazing mother- the fact is that people who don't understand her character- don't realize that she would cut a bitch if she had a child

but also leon would 100% be terrified for everything that could possibly go wrong. just wanting to protect their kid from everything- only something traumatic would happen which would force him to teach their kid to be able to protect themselves

i still think that they would avoid having a child- the world is fucked up as it were (very much hunger games peeta and katniss. they hate the idea of bringing up a child in a world like this)

but especially with how re6 ada is, she is just DONE with the world

i can only imagine them having a kid if things were just done

or they ran away from everything

OR the kid was an accident

especially with their ages in the canon, if it were to be post re6, they would be getting old for their child bearing ages tbh

but if we're gonna disregard all of that-

Love Live! Sunshine!! Season 1: EP 1-7 Watchthrough

i dunno why i decided 2023 to be my idol year, but anyway, we're on Sunshine!!

#1: "I Want to Shine!!"

okay, so unlike the original, sunshine wants to throw all these characters at us at once, and honestly, nice? i feel like these characters are even more immediately gripping and distinct. also, the show looks even better i think? i am liking.

#2: "Catch the Transfer Student!"

i'm like way more into this than the original love live already and i'm not quite sure why cause nothing it dramatically better, i just think everything is slightly better and that builds up. it's slightly prettier, it has slightly more interesting characters and dynamics, etc.

also, chika is straight up reading the love live wiki right there

i love how when i started the franchise i kept reiterating how the idol style and its songs isn't really for me, and look at me now

i mean, still not an idol fan, but bangers are bangers

#3: "First Step!"

oh my god i love how sunshine subverted it!!

the original love live's corresponding scene always stood out to me as its most emotionally effective one, but I think sunshine did almost just as good here, having chika tear up a bit but then bringing the crescendo back with, an all time favourite trope, THE POWER OF COMMUNITY

there's a  definite weird sense when watching this show, cause you're aware that it's a franchise very specifically hand-crafted to appeal to its otaku audience that makes it feel a bit grossly commercialized, but that doesn't mean there's only commercial value and no artistic.

artists still make these shows, and i think they emanate a lot of genuine warmth. i think it's telling that they could've continued milking μ's but instead they allowed them to retire and took the risk of focusing on a new set of girls.

#4: "Two Girls' Feelings"

i love how sunshine!! is using μ's as a direct inspiration for our characters here, and how we've tied very specific characters and why they motivate our new cast specifically (the rin one was especially sweet, cause it was one of the cutest scenes in the OG series)

sunshine!! has just done such a great job. i don't think the original ever really shone when focusing on its side cast they way this episode did, so i'm glad to see this new iteration just improving on the franchise's core strengths

#5: "Yohane Descends"

It is very nice for Yohane to be self aware of her chuunibyo stage and her struggle being trying to grow out of it. It makes for a lot of layered comedy, those two clashing sides, but also makes it even more sweet when the others accept her anyway.

Honestly, you don't need to grow out of it. My advice? Channel that creative spirit into something that fits it the best, where you get the most positive feedback from it and the least negative. You can always put the persona on, but it'll impact your ability to make friends. If your IDOL persona is your outlet instead, then that’s the best of both worlds, right?

#6: "Let's Make a PV"

That's it, right there. Community. What makes your town special is not the town itself nor its locations, it is the people. The relationships you forge with those around you, the support networks you can rely on in need, the way everyone cleans the beach together. That's special.

Also, yes, Sunshine!! is kinda bound by the shackles of its predecessor. I think it's fine so far, cause Sunshine is basically the original concept executed to perfection, but any future series is gonna have to do something a bit different.

#7: "Tokyo"

doesn't say word. does a spinning flip over them to assert dominance. queen.

i love how in the meantime there's this tragic shakespearean drama brewing with the seniors lol

late night talks? they are so in love.

I love You's outfits lol. She went through a dozen this episode, but even just her regular hat has her name on it. Like, imagine if mine just said "Theodor." Granted, her name is You, so it's probably easier to find a hat with that already on.

i said it before (or maybe i didn't actually) but i went into sunshine!! with expectations of it surpassing the original love live cause from what i've peeked sunshine!! seems to have the best character designs. so far, i am being proven right.

I'd like for our "antagonists" maybe to sometime also be a full on team, and not just two or three people. i understand why they don't do it, cause it's not a show about the rivalry, but if we ever wanted to do that variation, it'd be down.

Tl;Dr: Seagulls on 1989 remind me of Kiki's Delivery Service and there are parallels to me between Taylor at that time and Kiki's story.

I've always wondered... Why 1989? It's such an odd album title. Which works in its favor because it gets your attention. And it's a bit jarring which speaks to the her rebranding. But with Taylor, there's usually a deeper meaning. Especially if she is indeed an INFP.

Most of the time I've chalked it up to rebirth as an artist and a person. The whole album is a cycle of going in and out of what seems to be a pretty unhealthy relationship, possibly with a toxic friend or interest. Then at the end (sort of) we get New Romantics, which embraces being free and feels like a fresh start.

But the seagulls still bugged me, especially when I came across a clip of someone asking Taylor why seagulls are on the album art and she gave a cagey answer. That made me believe they must have significance. But WHAT.

So, switching gears, I recently started watching my way through the Studio Ghibli movies, mostly because they had the cutest merch on Hot Topic, but also because they are mesmerizing and relaxing. Cottagecore at its peak. But, like, way before cottagecore.

Because when I started up Kiki's Delivery Service, what greets me but a message that it was released in 1989. How fun! The movies really remind me of Taylor and her dreamy aesthetics in music videos over the years, especially Willow.

At first I started joking about the coincidences: Kiki moves from the COUNTRY to a big city the equivalent of New York. Yeah.

She is out of place and given side eye by people because they don't know her country customs, even outright laughed at. But she has a dream of living by the ocean in the city, so she perseveres.

Did I mention she has a cat as her BFF?

She starts up a delivery service because she doesn't have talents like the other snooty witches her Age (I know Taylor is very talented but I imagine she was not exactly welcomed into the mainstream pop world.)

Over time, however, Kiki becomes discouraged and depressed and loses faith in herself. Again, she gets mocked by a more fashionable cool girl who lives in a mansion not unlike the Blank Space one...

She fails and hits a low, starting to lose her magical powers, which honestly reminds me of Taylor's story that she was devastated after losing AOTY for Red and then promised she would write a better album (which is hard because Red is slept on...I listen on loop every Fall and it's chef's kiss.)

Same happens to Kiki, she's propelled back into doing her skill and then the movie abruptly ends.

So what made me make this farfetched connection?

The seagulls.

They're so prominent.

And one of Taylor's first promotions for 1989 was to walk down a city street holding balloons, which fly and also could hearken to the Zeppelin that features in the latter part of the movie. In addition, her big pink sunglasses echo the shape of Kiki's signature big red bow.

She has a heartbreaking monologue about how she has trouble communicating with people, and Taylor has expressed a difficulty communicating with people when she was younger and trusting people now that she's older:

Of course, the opening scene of Kiki laying in the grass listening to an old-fashioned radio reminded me of Eponymous aka Debut:

So that's my best guess lol

Now I'm trying to watch all the Studio Ghibli movies because they're just wonderful and soothing!

because is one of my favorites hcs. i really enjoy spending time thinking about this and i absolutely melt everytime.

Aizawa Shouta

he's not like, all cutie and stuff but he tries his best to show his love for his s/o.

when he refers to her, he always uses Partner or Lover. and don't ask me why but i just feel this man is classic.

eventually started to use Fiancé and Wife as soon as he could because he's NOT afraid of telling the world she's the one.

he's a pro-hero and a public figure but despite this, we all know he is very professional and likes to keep his private life private. so, when he's talking with her in public situations he uses Darling. again, classic lol (tried to call her this way when they were alone but was too much formality.)

sometimes he uses Love. it's really cute but isn't his favorite to call his s/o.

Honey is the one he uses a lot at home or when they're alone.

probably Kitty is the universal headcanon for Aizawa's petnames lol but YES i agree. he saves this one for special or intimate moments. the first time he used Kitty was a surprise.

–*almost a whisper* “i love you, kitty.”

–“you just called me kitty?”

–“no I didn't.”

–“yes you did. you did it right now.”

–“and…?”

–“and what?”

–“don't you like it?"

–“isn't that i don't like it, is just…why did you call me that?”

Hatake Kakashi

this man isn't into fancy nicknames but he makes sure his s/o knows he treasures her a lot.

he uses Lover when he's talking about her or in public situations.

it took sometime for him to get used with Fiancé or Wife just because Kakashi almost couldn't believe he ACTUALLY managed to have someone this special in his life. (we all know how sad his past is 😔😔😔)

she could forget her own name because Kakashi ALWAYS call her Honey. sometimes, even in public.

obviously this man has a sweet and special nickname that suits his s/o so well. (fell free to imagine one you like the most or the one you think suits you better. i think to myself he would use Bunny or Flower)

Ukai Keishin

he uses Babe most of the time. it's simple but sweet.

but let's not forget he's a flirty one. im 100% sure he would use Babe even before they're actually start dating, just to tease her.

calls her My Girl when refers to her. even when they get old because he's a sweet one.

Keishin loves call her Princess to spoil his s/o. and obviously her number is saved as "Princess 👑" too.

sometimes he uses Doll.

doesn't mind calling his s/o Babe or Doll or even Princess in front of others. actually, he likes seeing her smile when he do this.

Lovebug is the cutest nickname ever and he uses when he's being EXTRA cute and fluffy.

and yes, he has a sassy name to call her while they're doing. (ill let you free to imagine this one too, but i kinda like Babygirl LOL i know it's cliche but 🥵🥵🥵 what can i do)

BELA SEGMENT

Bela doesn't like to rely on her sisters, Daniela being the least dependable. She calls them worthless and stupid and is always cleaning up after them.

According to Cassandra, Bela never stops complaining.

Sometimes the girls clean the dungeon if they've made a mess.

The most important thing to Bela seems to be her mother's praise, no matter how small.

She's also the one being praised the most.

Alcina kills/killed all the servants one way or another.

At one point during the development of the game, there was probably a hide-and-seek section where all 4 women were searching for you and when one of them found you they would call for the others. Then came the chasing. The sisters saw that as a race of who could catch you first and Bela was close to being the "winner" one time.

Bela likes to take credit for catching pray, even if all of them caught it together. Alcina chooses to ignore the "I" and praises all of them.

She sharpens her nails. (??)

They've been feeding on women for a long time, probably the servants, until there were none left, and Bela says she's sick and tired of women's blood. (😭)

They feed remains "to the pigs."

Their death scenes differed from the ones we have now, and Bela's last words are her apologising to her mother.

CASSANDRA SEGMENT

She sighs and groans a lot.

There was probably a cutscene planned where all 4 of them talked about stuff like hunting.

Cassandra almost never gets the first bite and is presumably the last one to get what's left of their food (hair, skin and nails). (wtf lol)

She cusses you out for killing Bela. (bae-lah btw)

She likes to tease and play with her pray a lot, hence the "rawr >:3" every time she finds you. She encourages you to run while she's chasing you because it's more fun that way.

Holding back is usually very hard for her and she's very impatient.

She talks about mounting Ethan's head on her wall, suggesting they all had their own rooms at some point during development.

She occassionally keeps souvenirs of her victims.

She sees her pray fighting back as a pointless struggle.

They can smell fear.

Cassie laughs the most out of the 3 of them and has the most maniacal laughter.

She hunted every beast you could imagine, finds hunting to be the most important activity she does and yells at Ethan for ruining it for her once he fights back.

She gets bored easily.

They go outside to hunt when it's not winter. Cassandra says that something they are talking about in the deleted cutscene reminds her of deer hunting in spring.

She mentions Daniela wants to play with you.

Blood gets thicker when their pray is scared.

DANIELA SEGMENT

As the most delusional, she believes her and Ethan are in love (🤢) and is genuinely shocked when he tries to kill her. She calls you mean and rude when you attack her.

Also says she'll forgive you if you stop (Alcina has a similair line).

All of them call you a "bad boy" at least once (except Alcina).

She's the only one except her mother who occassionally calls you by your name, offendedly yelling "Ethan!" when you hurt her.

Her and Bela both command you to move your hands when you block during their boss fight.

One version of her death has her swearing that mother will kill you even if she couldn't, but the current version is her yelping that she doesn't want to die.

She asks if you met Bela and remarks her as the smart one.

She's convinced mother loves her the most

Has the cutest giggle in the entire world.

She complains how her sisters never have time to play and calls them terrible.

Like the youngest child she is, she threatens to tell mother on you.

Daniela and Alcina both have a line where they express how they want to become beautiful just like their mother. Daniela wants to be like Alcina, and Alcina like Mother Miranda.

At one point, she forgives you for something because "everybody makes mistakes."

She asks Ethan if he's happy.

Cassandra is the best at hunting and Daniela wishes she could hunt like her.

Fun My Hero Academia Headcannons I Have

(Most of these are probably gonna end up in my story btw)

Tokoyami works at his parents' flower-shop whenever they need help and he never used to like it all that much but it's kinda grown (haha) on him. His favorite flowers are like deep purple daisies. That's why him and Shinso are friends cause he likes his purple eyes lol. (Also cause they like to silently coexist together and read poetry)

Koda loves volunteering at the local animal shelter and started when he was like 10. However, he was too scared to do it on his own so his childhood bestfirend Shoji decided to volunteer with him. They both volunteer in their free time together now.

Ochako hates and I mean HATES Alexa. Ya know, the Amazon at home assistant person. She doesn't have one but she visited someone who did (Like Yaoyorozu or somn) and Alexa just started talking randomly and freaked the girl out. So now the brunette is on high alert around the device and will tell her to shut up if she ever starts speaking. It's like a one-sided rivalry.

Bakugo not liking sweets is partially true. He doesn't like them all the time, but when he's in the mood for them, the boy will eat a whole ass wedding cake, kay. He loves food and experimenting with flavors and whatever. Also loves cinnamon cause that just makes sense. He is always happy to have a cinnamon treat. He loves those nasty cinnamon candies that old people eat. He's a grandpa.

Ida used to hate orange juice but because of his quirk he needs to drink it a lot. I say he still doesn't like it that much but, ya know, a hero's gotta do what a hero's gotta do.

Kirishima loves the smell of baby powder and I don't know why. He just does and he will powder himself after every shower because I said so.

Tsu loves crocheting and knitting. She makes the cutest mushrooms and gives a lot of them to Todoroki because he thinks they're cute but doesn't really know how to tell her that. She also taught the girl's how to crochet cause they love the mushrooms too. Honestly, everyone loves the mushrooms cause how could they not? (Aizawa is secretly a big fan of them. He has a couple floating around in his sleeping bag)

We don't like him and we probably all hate to think about it, but, under the wretched perverted mess, Mineta is a hopeless romantic. Emphasis on hopeless cause that boy ain't getting a gal if he keeps up his ways. Deep deep deep deep DEEP down, he wants to change and, when he gets older, he will, I hope... Maybe he'll find a nice girl who sets him straight and helps him grow and move away from his perverted ways? That would be nice.

Midoriya likes the Backstreet Boys cause Inko loves them and they bonded over that all of the time when he was little. Now whenever they're cleaning they have fun jam sessions. It's the cutest thing in the world and also low-key cringey but, ehh, who cares?

Jiro likes to pretend she hates romance but she secretly likes the thought of it. However, seeing people kiss is gross, but imagining it is different... for some reason…
