Had a thought about the animal sanctuary AU. What if before coming to the sanctuary Callie and Marie had been raised together since cubs as like idk some idiot's pets or something? And that's why they're so bonded close siblings do not separate? Unless u already have an idea for that.

I was actually thinking the same! Some jackass most definitely wanted a cute pair of leopards to keep without proper licensing and was busted during a police raid. They end up in said sanctuary a little worse for ware, but they make it! FULL RECOVERY‼️‼️‼️

Most sanctuaries actually advise to keep different species separate for safety reasons (big cats being uber territorial n'all), but since the girls were already so close, they just let them stay together to keep each other company :)

I'm making craig an elderly lion btw and he adopts them both as his own cause I said so. (yay!! found family but make It animals!!!)
