The villagers’ outrage and scorn scald your very flesh. They demand your death. The cliffside is barren of any gallows or burning stakes. You tremble in the sheer, misty cold of All Hallows’ Eve, stealing a glance downwards at the churning indigo waves and the black-blue sky brewing with a seastorm. White crests chop upon the sandy shore and crash against the rocks directly below the cliff’s edge the preacher and constable set you upon. In the distance, thunder rumbles.

A/N: It still counts as MerMay if it's in June, right? Oh well, I always carry the spirit of the month in my heart, and I will inflict all my AUs with it. This is a threat <3 I wanted to do a little twist on my Halloween fic, so while we're getting more familiars/demons, there are a few differences between this and DT&T. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

He's so striking and I love, love how Halloween-y he looks! The black and orange colors are beautiful and so stunning, and his 'sun rays' are perfect with the inky/smoky effects! He's so handsome, I want to take him home and put him in a little aquarium he wouldn't fit in! And the dapper suit is gorgeous! I love you designed the tentcle tassels on the ends, and he's just so AUGH! I'm devouring your art whole, babe!

This is Zu—I mean, Jian Li and Katara's second meeting in the Kyoshi Warriors AU. The first proper one, anyway.

Once they get through a minor difference of opinion or two (“I can carry my own basket!” “Never said you—” “I'm not weak!” “I didn't—” “Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean—” “Would you listen for once, woman?!” ) they'll become nearly inseparable.

For now Jian Li will carry Katara's basket all the way to the Kyoshi Warriors' dojo and, once there, they'll mercilessly tease Sokka when they see him in uniform.

UWA!! OMG MERMEY DOUBLE TOIL AND TROUBLE?!?! I SCREAMED?!?? such a great read omg I love the immediate tension made in the first half and throwing us right into the thick of it

AND OO?? i gasped when i realised it was eclipse that caught us first this time!! and him quickly taking his little witch back to their home. AHH i missed the kitties!! that morning scene went from endearing to Eclipse being a little suave menace hehe. I love how this and the first chapter of dt&t are very much paralleled but we get to see how different all 3 are when it comes to personality and reactions!!

ough cant say i feel bad for the little fish at the end but i definitely was not expecting that oop a little treat for some fellow demons it seems tehe BUT AHH such a great read Naff!! sending much love and kudos your way 🤲🤍✨���

I am LIVING for the head cannon going around that Xie Lian has actually lost it centuries ago and his beautiful husband, Hua Cheng the Crimson Rain Sought Flower Ghost King himself, is actually a putrefied abomination/horrific creature of the night and he just doesn't see it.

BUT! Why leave the other calamity ghosts out of this fun filled horror fest??
