I had some headcanons for the seeker trine and I want your opinion.

Starscream had a scream ability like he did in cyberverse and animated but megatron took away that ability to enhance his canon. Starscream could've possibly pull a atomic breath from Godzilla had megatron not removed it.

SkyWarp will do anything you tell him not to purely out of spite. Like how you try to stop a dog from eating something you dropped, SkyWarp will proceed and do the thing much faster. Doesn't help that he teleports.

ThunderCracker has a electric/lightning ability that he uses only in very rare cases and the reason for that is because the electric shock can sometimes burn internal mechanics and cause mechs to smell, like how hornets can make you smell like a enemy to the hive because they don't like you. So he basically curses anyone with stinky bitch disease.

speculative fiction writers i am going to give you a really urgent piece of advice: don't say numbers. don't give your readers any numbers. how heavy is the sword? lots. how old is that city? plenty. how big is the fort? massive. how fast is the spaceship? not very, it's secondhand.

the minute you say a number your readers can check your math and you cannot do math better than your most autistic critic. i guarantee. don't let your readers do any math. when did something happen? awhile ago. how many bullets can that gun fire? trick question, it shoots lasers, and it shoots em HARD.

you are lying to people for fun. if you let them do math at you the lie collapses and it's no fun anymore.

Amaury "Chocolate Guy" Guichon is undoubtedly an extremely skilled sculptor in chocolate but I think my favorite thing about a lot of his videos is the effort he puts into putting actual dessert food under the sculpture work

So many of his desserts & pastries have at least 5 layers of different textures & flavors. Fruit jams, caramel, cake, creams, mousse, cookies, meringue, crumb layers etc

That's what makes his work truly impressive to me, especially as someone who quickly got tired of the "knife that turns everything into cake" thing, where it was all basic chocolate cake buried under 13 layers of fondant

It takes amaury's work from an impressive stunt to "if I ate that, it would probably be the best thing I'd eat in my whole life"

So usually when an imaginary friend is a real thing in a story, it’s either a demon or a ghost or some supernatural boogeyman that probably wants to eat the kid they’ve befriended (Mama, a couple of the Paranormal Activity movies), or “imaginary friends” are just treated as a real thing in the setting, and if a child just thinks hard enough they can manifest a friend into existence (Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Happy).

And somewhere in the middle is an area where the imaginary friend in question is real and they are supernatural, but they aren’t malevolent, and they aren’t entirely honest about what they are. Like maybe they’re a fairy or a god or some kind of boggle from mythology, but they just got caught by a six year old and they don’t have time to get into it, so they just go “…Yes. I’m your imaginary friend. We haven’t met. How do you do.” And then they stick around because they do love this kid, and if you’re a boggle from mythology in the modern day good food is really hard to come by.

And at some level. That’s what I think Hobbes is.

WE'RE SO BACK

- Aloy is really good with children partially because of her upbringing. She goes out of her way to always acknowledge a child speaking. She is kind but also honest to a level that most adults aren't. She can keep up with any childrens game for longer than the kids themselves. She encourages kids in their dreams, and often is genuinely competitive in games. However, everyone once in a while, she'll "slip up" and let a kid win on purpose if she feels they need it. She trusts in their capabilities to overcome things.

- Once the world threats are over, Aloy allows Beta to cajole her into watching some holos. She always resists a little and genuinely gets stressed if Beta makes her watch for too long, but she secretly really loves a couple of them. And she endures it because Beta loves it so much.

- Beta becomes a much better cook than Aloy ever does. Aloy can't be darned to cook beyond the bare essentials, and Rost never put a ton of spices in his cooking anyway. Katollo and Zo are the two best cooks of the Gaia Gang.

some random headcanons that I like:

-Aloy is, for some reason, way better with kids than her upbringing in near complete isolation might lead people to believe (basing this off of her very few interactions with Itamen, who seems to really like her)

-Aloy teaches Itamen and Beta (and eventually Varl Jr) to hunt machines. She’s strict, like Rost was, but never as harsh

-Aloy likes to give Tenakth children and any adults not too proud or embarrassed to ask Sunwing rides— Kotallo is entirely unashamed to ask

-as an important figure to both the Tenakth and Carja, Aloy becomes instrumental in the peace talks between the tribes, earning her even more titles she’s very unhappy about

-Aloy and Beta both have “I’m not a real person” bad days. When those happen, team GAIA— GAIA herself included— will just, like, hang out with them— no work allowed— and make sure they know they’re loved and appreciated for who they are

-Gildun loves telling anyone who’ll sit still long enough to listen how he and Aloy met. He exaggerates everything. His stories are a massive hit with both Tenakth and Carja kids, which grows Aloy’s reputation even more

-Seyka immediately understands why Aloy kept her myriad of titles and accomplishments a secret from her when they have to go to Meridian one day and she sees Aloy grimacing at her statue and how people treat her, and how every time someone calls her “the savior” she immediately says “just Aloy”, so she makes it a point to treat Aloy same as she always has

-when Aloy and Seyka eventually have the full Aloy’s Backstory and Accomplishments talk Aloy quietly confesses one of the reasons she avoided telling Seyka was she wanted her to like her as Just Aloy, not The Savior of Meridian or whatever other title people felt like giving her that week

-Aloy loves seeing Alva and Seyka but she hates having to go to Landfall because anyone who isn’t Alva, Seyka or Kina insists on calling her Revered Ancestor

-Kotallo and Alva are best friends

-Erend and Seyka become besties/drinking buddies and they both love teasing Aloy for being a lightweight

-Beta is actually a year older than Aloy

-first thing Beta gets fixed at The Base after they defeat the Zeniths is the showers
