Peter Pettigrew Headcanons !

- He was born in Scotland to a Scottish mum and British dad. (Dad is a pureblood, mum is either a half-blood or muggleborn)

- That being said, I don’t think he ever lived in Scotland. Like I think his parents were just in Scotland for the summer or smth and he just decided he didn’t like being in his mother’s womb anymore. (I hc his birthday being sometime during the summer. June 22nd specifically).

- I think his parents got divorced when he was young, maybe 4? And also he has two younger half-sisters from his dad’s side (1967 and 1968).

- The older one is a squib. He’ll punch anyone who speaks badly of her.

- Obviously, he grew up w James and Marls. And he looks up to James a lot.

- Straight ally (he wasn’t at first. Not because he was homophobic, but bc he didn’t know gay people existed and found it a bit weird AT FIRST.)

- Ambivert

- Social smoker

- His humour is mostly composed of sarcasm and self-deprecating jokes (but not the annoying type, the chandler bing type)

- Enjoys watching his friends fight so much; he’d get a bag of popcorn if he could

- He didn’t really care for Snape one way or the other. This makes him more diabolical in my opinion bc that would mean he bullied him just for the fun of it rather than having an actual reason lol

Okay so when it comes to his academic life I’m kind of between two options:

1:

- He’s rlly smart, just uninterested (much like Sirius (except for herbology and maybe care of magical creatures))

Or 2:

- He actually works hard for his grades and isn’t effortlessly smart.

- Since his family is known for having a lot of squibs, he always gets a little bit worried when he struggles to do something, even though he knows he’s not a squib.
