assuming normal air pressure, 32 degrees is the freezing point of water and 212 degrees is the boiling point.

I personally don't ever really think about 0 degrees, partially because I come from a warmer climate and partially because it doesn't really mean anything other than "it cold 🥶"

when it's below 32 you know it's cold and when it's above you know it's not as cold. what most people can ageee to be a "nice" temperature range is 68-77 degrees, but the actual range of opinions of "nice" temperatures ranges anywhere from 60-80 degrees. my preferred temperature is 63 outside, and 72 inside. anything over 80 is Hot™ and anything over 95 gets close to unbearable. it does regularly get above 100 degrees in some places during the summer, but luckily we live in the day and age of air conditioning. average human body temp is about 98.6 degrees. I will say that fahrenheit is more "sensitive" than celcius in that more numbers in fahrenheit equal the same number in celcius

Alfred would really like a S/O that does this! You know how people put subway surfers gameplay on the bottom of TikToks now? Yeah, your hands have basically the same effect on him. Helps him focus on what you’re actually saying.

He kinda does the same thing too. Recently he’s bought like, a lot of silly stim toys, so if you need something to do with your hands he’s got you covered.

No matter what, he would never get annoyed by how much you gesture and fidget. He does the same thing! Probably as much as you! He just sees it as a good thing, it makes it easier for you to get your point across. If anyone ever got mad at you for it, he’s immediately telling them to shut up.

As much as Arthur tries his best to not be bothered by your constant fidgeting, he can’t help it sometimes. He loves how hyper you are! But sometimes, he’ll hold your hands as an excuse to get you to calm down a little. He’s an old man, he’s got a headache.

But most of the time, he couldn’t care less. I mean, if anything, it just helps him know exactly what you’re talking about quicker. Also, this guy loves giving gifts, if you ask for any fidgets, they’ll be on the dining table the next day.

It’s a real cute trait of yours… but sometimes Yao gets dizzy just seeing you flail your hands around like that. Are you swatting at flies? Are you ok? It’ll… take a bit for him to learn to not comment on it.

After that, he tries to ignore it when he can. Which is ironic, because he does the same exact thing sometimes! Like, he’ll tell you to calm down while talking with his hands himself. So annoying!

Oh, Ivan would just find this so charming! Most of the people he spends time with are incredibly stiff and uncomfortable, so seeing you so excitedly try to sputter out something while gesturing wildly is a very welcome change.

But, he has a tendency to stand very close to you while you two are talking, so it’s not an uncommon occurrence for you to smack him upside the head. He doesn’t mind though, there’s no way you could ever hurt him too bad.

Although he would LOVE to buy you cute fidgets, he might be hesitant at first. Simply because he can’t get enough of watching you talk. It’s like a little performance! It’s definitely one of those little things he loves about you so much.

okay now also. yuuji's domain. i want to talk about yuuji's domain so bad. one thing i noticed was that he doesn't name it. at first i was pretty disappointed because im a weirdo and i love their weird word salad names, i love that e.g. fushiguro and mahito just bust out full poems on i guess instinct when they use their domains for the first time!! so the fact that yuuji didn't get one felt at first like he was being... slighted by the convention almost? but.

this is again a thing i think could have been cool if leaned into, in a few ways. ive just been having these ideas about how yuuji's domain is different from other domains, one of those ways being in its lack of a name.

first of all from a character perspective - yuuji's whole persona in battle is like warpath, tunnel vision, beat your ass shit, so it does kinda make sense that his domain would be just as no muss no fuss just get it the fuck done, in a way. once again. lean into this!!

but also, i started thinking about what we saw with characters like gojo and sukuna, and the idea of jujutsu as the art of elision. when those characters wanted to juice their big moves, they reverted rituals that included vocal incantations. that exact word salad shit. i started thinking - those word salad domain names are like, that, you know? maybe this is explicit and i just missed it somewhere. or i forgor. but perhaps invoking a domain's name makes it more powerful, or easier to establish, or something

but anyway. what IS yuuji's domain and what does it do. he learned from kusakabe, so it's at least somewhat akin to a simple domain, but we also know yuuji's body holds the memory of malevolent shrine - does that have any influence on how the domain turned out? it seems pretty... big, for lack of a better way of describing a mental projection. no other simple domain really HAD projections. are there no techniques imbued in it? what about vows, like sukuna with his whatever barrier bullshit? yuuji's forces sukuna back into the yuukuna body. why? how? we've seen how domains can make its targets abide by rules, what rule is this? sukuna also acts nonviolently for as long as yuuji strings him through illusory sendai, and i dont know if this is a choice by sukuna (which idk whether i do or do not understand as a character choice at this point) or if it's enforced by the domain somehow.

But basically I daydream a LOT but sometimes that keeps me from finishing the fic because it's like "I already wrote it" in my head, and other times I will just go for it and finish the idea in one sitting but that really only works for one-shots (which is most of what I write anyway). The fic I posted yesterday I just wrote it as the idea came to me

11. Do you write scenes in order, or do you jump around?

I used to force myself to slog through writing everything in order, but it killed so many wip by making me bored of the idea because I wasn't writing the fun bits yet, so now I jump around haha. Which does sometimes create issues when I start bridging the bits together and have to tweak or completely cut stuff, but it overall keeps me writing more and helps my creativity flowing by quickly getting down the parts I want to and building around them

I'm proud of how my writing has improved over the years. Obviously any skill gets better the more you work it (I say as someone who typically gets distressed and will immediately drop something if I'm not instantly perfect at it 👍) but it's been really satisfying seeing my writing get good enough to be in a couple zines and having people enjoy what I've shared :) so thanks everyone who's ever been nice to my writing haha

For something that's almost done, it's a joke about a trope I never thought I'd write that got way too out of hand and sentimental instead of just quick dirty horny lol. Whoops ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

As far as planned out but not close to being done writing wise, it's a long fic for an obscure ot3 that died pre-canon and it's following the development of their relationships before exploding into their individual horrific deaths, and then maybe a sequel that follows a slightly canon divergent yet still canon compliant idea of what sets about the trainwreck leading to their deaths. Including me it'll maybe have 4 fans haha, but that's fine I love the concept and am having fun daydreaming about it. It's extremely self-indulgent to the point it's embarrassing

Hahah, but yeah I think I really thrive with conversation but I also really really enjoy working sentences until they bleed (aka I gave up) to convey as much info and emotion as I can without being too wordy, because outside of writing stories/fic/poems I'm an rambling mess that says "like" and "fuck" far too much haha! It's my only time to be concise ✌️

My first ever fic both that I wrote and posted. It blew up a lot more than I ever expected or hoped, and it still gets kudos regularly and comments occasionally, and is still by far my most popular fic haha

Unfortunately that causes me the tiniest 🤏 amount of psychic damage each time because while I'm thrilled people still enjoy it and that it's been read by so many people, it does not hold up to my current writing skills by any means. Oh boy it is rough around the edges haha

I'm gonna be honest, I freaked out a bit when I saw the title of today's LaES video. I thought it seemed a bit fast to reveal a certain someone's code being in Solar's head, if that's even what happened. Still, Solar's mindscape being a replica of that one Willy Wonka room is certainly interesting. Also interesting is how the mind version of Solar, before Solar himself was sucked in, seemed less aware than Earth's mind-self. He saw Lunar and was about to categorize him, and all with no life or emotion. Honestly, I can't say it's too shocking; Solar's been working almost constantly with very little true rest (zoning out or playing games doesn't count as true rest), so I can only imagine how tired he must be.

And Lunar saw what happened with Solar's Moon...that's fun. I saw comments about how the memory was a bit different than how the actual event happened. One, with the behind-the-scenes explanation, Davis and EC were recreating the scene on the fly; they were NOT going to get it exact. Second, the in-universe explanation, which is that memories are just kind of like that. Memories are like old VHS tapes; the more times you play them back, and the longer you go playing them back often, the more altered they'll become. Still, even recent memories aren't going to be recalled EXACTLY as they happened.

HIII hi im gonna say that i agree that i dont rlly think denji sounds like denji. like the immaturity in his voice doesnt rlly sound like its there, but its rough and im hoping the VA for the dub might turn out to be better or this VA can kind of develop more of a denjier sounding voice as the series progresses. though im not gonna lie when denji started talking i thought it was aki talking at first. i legit forgor what akis VA sounded like

makimas voice though i still imagine it to be slightly lower ive seen some comments and i think yea actually her voice being higher kind of makes sense because it kind of lulls denji into a sense of security and also it makes the plot twist of her being a devil more believable because she sounds higher than everyone else and like not as human if that makes sense (not saying that ppl with high voices arent human but u get what i mean)
