i do love canon amy & rory but god, does some part of me wish they really had gone with the idea of the doctor picking up a child as a companion (and then later, that child’s best friend with a huge crush on her.) with the rest of the season really not changing at all, except now it’s amelia pond with an angel in her head killing her and lost alone in the woods. it’s little rory who dies and is forgotten and becomes a toy soldier. if this is going to be a fairy tale, then let it be one. children have never been safe in fairy tales.

Okay, conspiracy theory time: if Blitzwing being an Autobot experiment was indeed the original backstory planned for him, it ended up being revised into Malware’s backstory

I mean, a specimen with unique abilities amongst their species associated with machinery created by supposed good guy scientist(s) who “came out wrong” in a sense and was driven mad by the mental strain of it, turned rogue as a result of being mistreated by their creators, became a homicidal maniac hellbent on revenge, AND the same guy worked as a character designer on their respective shows? It just makes too much sense.

I mean with how much canon that Derrick J. Wyatt had creative input on, it would certainly not be too farfetched for some older unexplored ideas to be actually put into practice haha. I do love me some morally grey (and like, genuinely grey regardless of how bright or dark the shade) allies and protagonists, even if it has to come at the cost of the mental and physical health of certain antagonists /hj-

Blitzwing may not have had that much focus as a 'character plagued by the narrative' to have explored the implied trauma beyond him serving as one of the main villains with a unique triple changer feature, Malware being rather explicitly that 'someone you should care about' mixed in with the whole 'irredeemable asshole' schtick was very much a little dicey yeet- he deserved a redemption arc if he was to be written as much of a victim of circumstance and ensuing abandonment as he was 😔

Due to circumstances irl me and my friends still won’t be able to finish new getter watch which fuck knows when it’ll be resume now and one of the factors wasn’t even because not everyone could come-like one person was sick but that was it-but because we had a bunch of irl shit happened and I’m just reminded the part of the show we landed on is super fucking angsty and doesn’t get any better and that has probably encapsulated so of my iffy feelings with new despite it being arguably the most best written ova- but I don’t know if I wanna get into a whole rant about it in a post because some people might think I’m reaching even though I’m safer here compared to twit so might keep vague thoughts in the tags below.

weird to think that if my vision in my left eye was as bad as it is in my right eye i would be almost completely blind. like im supposed to use my right eye more often to help with weakened eye muscles and alignment blah blah but i can't actually do anything without my left eye because i am literally unable to see. And its gotten significantly worse in the past few years so what am i supposed to do with this??

How uncomfortable has fiction made you feel without you giving up on continuing through the story?

anything with sex tends to make me pretty uncomfortable, and most of the time it's something i can put up with , but there are times where it's a struggle. the h-scenes in both Muramasa and Fate that i've read were a struggle, and for Fate, after a bit i had to just put it on auto and minimize the tab until it was over

I was just going to come up with an approximate list for divergences, but now my brain is like “Let’s hyperfixate, reread the entire series, and go point-by-point for divergences!” 

So......that’ll probably happen after I play GoW R.agnarok and get the first series of books back from my friend this weekend. But two of the Super Important things to know now are that my Hades is definitely less of an ass, especially to his children, and that I’m very much more of a “Solangelo slow burn” person as opposed to how fast everything happened. 

There are a lot more, for my other PJO characters too, but those are two important ones for right now.
