the way people on here talk about gerri gets on my nerves sooo much everyone is always paying lip service to “omg gerri is my queen do it for her i love her step on me mommy etc” but the second she dares to deny roman the emotional comfort to which he feels so entitled after he’s essentially sexually harassed her in the workplace for two seasons and let her be fired (and in fact, was the one who fired her, and is partially the REASON she’s getting fired)…

the second she does this you get all these deranged posts about how shes cold hearted for this. but how is roman not cold hearted for firing her? how is he not cold hearted for continuing to extract mentorship and sexual gratification from her while providing very little in return? why is it that when he acts cruelly and selfishly to her its viewed as some inevitable outcome over which he had no control but when she seeks to protect herself its some mortal sin?

i guess i just find it depressing that for all that people talk a big game about loving milfs or whatever as soon as gerri’s interests diverge even slightly from roman’s people make it clear that they dont actually care abt gerri as a character at all? which is fine i guess but from all the “gerri alert” type posts on here youd assume differently
