Sunday deliciousness after a long day of studying! Just one week left of medical school classes I am so tired of writing exams and have 3 more to do within the next ten days 😐😐 luckily after that things will be more chill and I can hopefully get out on my bike and spend time with loved ones human and dog form! Beautiful day of May 1st 2016. Took my bike out for a 25 km ride along the awesome rails to trails bike/hike paths near my house in Halifax, NS today ❤️🚴🏼 had been scared to do a long ride from being so sick last year and losing a lot of my conditioning but I've been working really hard and getting back to fitness and really surprised myself today ! Feeling proud lol also if you don't cycle you should it's the absolute best and you get to see so many awesome things outside haha I'm such a nerd but seriously get outside and enjoy the beauty !! Yes that is right these are Fully Vegan Sticky Buns of Magic!! The secret ingredient here is obviously my ultimate favourite item that is so Canadian it defines my life and this season as the trees have been tapped and the syrup is flowing - yes if you haven't guessed I'm talking about Maple Syrup! The other trick here is to actually make these with the glaze and nuts underneath in the oven and then flip them over onto tin foil and voila ooey gooey deliciousness ! Nothing better than sticky buns on this Easter long weekend! My family is not traditional, we had vegan chilli and homemade breads for dinner , I love my family for keeping it cruelty free! And we even have vegan chocolates to eat now so time for a desert coma.
