Hybrid AU in exile week where avian instincts can take over to a degree that is almost horrific, erasing someone’s personality and rationality when they’re panicking. First part here.
Tommy is sick of being sat upon by some nut job he barely knows. It’s been days trapped under a Philza who doesn’t really register human words and mostly just coos whenever Tommy tries to cuss him out. Techno says it’s ‘cause Philza thinks he’s been hurt and needs to be protected, which like, yeah, fine sure, but not by Philza. Tommy already has a guardian. His abuser has to be insanely worried about him, especially after Philza assaulted him for no reason. But every time Tommy tries to escape he’s just dragged back and everything gets worse.
At least that part is familiar.
He’s forced to stay in that nest for days, and Tommy has never handled being cooped up well. Some part of him likes the weight of a parent roosting over him and the feeling of gentle hands combing through his wings and hair, but the overwhelming majority of his instincts just wants his abuser back. Techno is of absolutely no help, mostly since Philza keeps trying to murder him. But he sits in the corner and is open to chat, or read a book aloud to him to stave off some of the boredom. Best advice Techno has is that Philza will be normal again if he thinks his chick is safe and happy.
Hell no. Tommy is not feeding this guy’s delusions, especially when Techno reveals Tommy’s own feathers had been woven next to Philza’s in the nest long before Tommy’s abduction. A-grade creep behavior there. Besides, his abuser will come save him soon. Tommy is so acutely aware that he’ll never save himself.
But then it’s been days and he’s losing hope and just wants to go home, so desperately Tommy tries to figure out what Philza will register as a happy chick. Usually chirps just burst out of him, not something he controls at all, but with some struggle he forces out the little trill he made every time his abuser came home.
Something twists in Tommy’s chest as Philza echoes the joyful chirps at him. It feels horribly right, complete whereas with his abuser the greeting was never returned. That wasn’t his fault, he wasn’t an avian. Neither of them had known what was needed to soothe his instincts.
But it works. Philza blinks rapidly, pupils returning to normal. His gaze locks on Tommy, eyes filling with tears. “I’m so sorry he did this to you.” Philza wraps him in a warm hug. Juuust great. He was hoping to leave after Philza got over it. All he wants is to get back to his abuser, but when he says as much the embrace becomes a vice. Tommy naturally rejects Philza’s awful claims, growing more and more desperate as his abuser is slandered. First the absurd claim he somehow stopped Tommy from flying, like it wasn’t because Tommy was too weak and small to. And then it’s after him for not providing proper shelter at their nest, even though his abuser was trying to teach him to be responsible when he had Tommy make his shack. Then the lack of healing supplies, then the fact he was dying alone when Philza found him.
“No, it’s my fault I tried to fly when he was gone! He was there for me every time I was injured! Shut up, I can too prove it. Hard not to be there when he caused it half the time!”
For some unknowable reason, Philza doesn’t take that well. Neither does Techno, even when Tommy tries to explain they’re misinterpreting what he said, really it was Tommy’s fault, mistakes and the natural punishment for his actions. When he argues it wasn’t bad, Techno brings up the injuries a bit too old to heal when he used the potions. They try to get in his head, voicing all the thoughts in Tommy’s head before he plummeted and proved his abuser right.
Thing is, Tommy has flown before. It’s been awhile, but he has, when he was younger, knew the wondrous taste of its joy. With L’Manburg he’d been careful to fly below the walls so he didn’t get shot down. And it wasn’t possible in Pogtopia. And then after…it just seemed pointless. And now he can’t at all, and the only reason he can find is because he doesn’t deserve that joy.
Unless it was taken from him. Just like everything else, Tommy finally admits. Wearing an avian’s feathers is meant to be a promise to support them as surely as their own wings, and yet his abuser clipped his.
It’s hard, realizing he was only ever so weak because the man he trusted was sabotaging him the whole time. Twisting his instincts, forcing him to become a useless hatchling. Manipulating him so he could never fly to safety.
Tommy begins to sob.

7-year-old cTommy not understanding why his father and older brother leave for prolonged periods of time. It used to be two to three weeks, but as cTechno grew older, the longer it took for Tommy to be able to see his favorite brother. And unfortunately for him, no one told him about the voices that plagued Techno’s mind at all hours of the day.
They’re home once more, Phil shooing off Tommy outside for peace and quiet, and Techno giving him small trinkets he picked up, along with a promise to let Tommy braid his hair later. Tommy, being the good little brother he is, goes to pick his brother’s favorite flowers, only to come back to Techno a snarling mess, lashing out at anyone who comes near him.
Tommy doesn’t understand what’s going on nor why his father and other brother are looking at Techno like a monster; all he sees is his big brother in pain and confusion. He approaches slowly, flowers held out with a shaky smile, and Techno looks at him, slowly reaching his hand out.
The tear of flesh like paper, and Tommy is screaming whether from the pain of the wound or being yanked back so violently away from Techno. Techno, blinking in confusion, looks down to the blood now coating his hand and then to his injured little brother struggling to get back to him.
Phil and Techno are gone the next morning.
-It wasn’t until Pogtopia that Tommy saw Techno again, leaning against the man’s shoulder as he spoke of the places he went, the things he learned. How somehow the blood of his sounder is able to pull him back, not quite distinguish the voices, but calms them. It’s quiet after that, Tommy telling Techno it was never his fault and he never blamed him. Techno holds him closer but doesn’t answer.
-It’s exile and for some reason Techno was helping Tommy, though he had no reason to. His brother doesn’t care, he knows this, yet he loves Techno too much to let him go as easily as he was. It slipped out by accident, what Dream did, how he deserved it, the meaning of the Tower Techno had found him beside. And for some reason that made Techno angry, and Tommy could see how quickly he was losing himself.
It shouldn’t work, Techno didn’t think of him as family anymore, but it was worth a try. Digging his nails into arm, he breaks open the stitches, letting the blood run freely. And it worked. He could see the cloudiness leaving Techno’s eyes, how he rushed over to Tommy’s side.
Techno was flinging insults at him, but Tommy couldn’t care less. Techno still thought of him as a brother, he still loved him. Tommy went to sleep that night with a smile on his face and a weight lifted off his shoulders.
-Tommy had fucked up big time. He probably should have gotten Phil, but he just had to play the hero. He had never seen Techno so bad before, even the blood from the wound in Tommy’s shoulder hardly phased him. Maybe it was because their bond was so frayed Techno needed more.
So, he provoked him. As Techno attacked, he met him halfway. Despite the sword that was ran through him, the snow turning pink under his feet, he threw his arms around Techno’s neck, pulling his face down so their foreheads touched and their eyes met.
It wasn’t working. Still, Tommy muttered reassurances to him. To come back to him, fight it, that he was stronger than this. To not be afraid because his little brother was there to make it all better like always. That ‘I love you, Techie.’
But Techno didn’t love him enough anymore for the voices to be quelled. And that was okay, Tommy understood. At least he tried, one last time. With that thought, he let himself fall.
-It was cold when Techno woke up. He had gotten angry, he wasn’t even sure for, but he didn’t want help this time. He wanted to feel blood on his hands and he didn’t care whose it was. But now he needed to get home. He needed…Tommy. The boy’s name was nothing more than a whisper on his lips. His baby brother, his runt, his family, looking so small curled up like that, almost as if he was asleep and Techno could pick him up and tuck him under the covers.
But he knew what death looked like. Especially when he was the one that caused it. Techno could fight a thousand men in one go to protect his little brother, but this, this was a battle Techno couldn’t win. This time, Techno couldn’t be the hero in Tommy’s story.
And for the first time in his life, the voices where completely silent.

His Anchor, Her Reason ~ Chapter 1
Chapter 1/?
Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3
Chapter Summary - Dream uses Y/n to make Wilbur easier to manipulate. But at what cost?
Series Summary - Throughout the Years Wilbur and Y/n had stuck together. She was the anchor that kept him sane during Pogtopia. But he thought she lost her last Canon Life, he snapped and blew up L'manburg. After his death though, Y/n is found to have a faint heartbeat and is coaxed back to health by Philza and Techno. Even though Wilbur isn’t alive with her, she knows that he wouldn’t want her to give up. He’s her reason to stay alive even when things get tough. But, can she bring him back after he’s been revived?
TW: Blood, mention of injuries, death…?
A/N: … I- I had to stop writing after Wilbur tells Y/n “Close your eyes and rest my love” because I was crying so hard. Not to mention writing everyone reacting to her dying…
(Everyone loves Y/n, it doesn’t matter what side of the fight she’s on. She’s everyone’s little sister unless it’s Wilbur then she’s the love of his life)
(Everyone’s goodbyes are in bold)
༺—–Y/n POV—–༻
I won’t say life was simple, because it wasn’t. Wilbur was always focused on Pogtopia or Manberg. He was always worried about if they were gonna be found. He stressed over me going outside the protecting walls of Pogtopia. He had nightmares of what could happen.
But I was always there. I grounded him and helped him think straight. I made the nightmares go away. I gave him hope. He didn’t think irrationally while he knew I was safe. He didn’t overthink or stress as much.
I was Wilbur’s Anchor.
During the Manberg vs. Pogtopia War, Wilbur and I had been taken where everyone could see us. Dream had pulled me from Wilbur and held a knife to my side, threatening Wilbur, telling him that if he says or does the wrong thing, I would get hurt. Dream knew exactly how to control Wilbur.
But even though Wilbur had given Dream satisfactory answers and did everything he was told. Dream knew the only way to manipulate Wilbur fully, was to take away the only thing holding him together. Dream wanted what Wilbur couldn’t accomplish with me around.
So Dream did the only thing he could, he plunged the blade as far into my side it could go, as I let out a pain-filled scream. But before pulling out the blade he whispers,
“I’m so sorry my friend. I will find you again and revive you. I promise.”
He pulls out the blade with a sickening sound, and let me drop to the ground with a painful thud.
Everything began to feel distant as I began to lose more and more blood. I could hear Wilbur yelling my name, I could see him fighting whoever was holding him back. I could hear Tubbo and Tommy yelling for someone to help as they tried to fight their way towards me. I heard Techno trying to reach me as he begged Dream to stop, but like everyone else, he failed.
My eyes began to close as my body grew cold. I tried to fight the numbness, but I was losing.
“Y/n, darling, please keep your eyes open!” I could faintly hear Wilbur crying from where he had fallen to the ground. “Please, don’t leave me! I need you!”
In every story, there was that one character who had a reason to want to live. It didn’t matter what had happened to the character, they survived because their reason was stronger than death itself.
Wilbur is my Reason.
But I was so tired. I had never felt sleep be this heavy before. It was like a weight that refused to lift, no matter how strong you are. Oh, how I wish that this once, I could overcome the weight and stop Wilbur’s tears, stop Tommy and Tubbo’s screams for help, and stop Techno’s begging. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t.
༺—–Wilbur’s POV—–༻
I could feel myself slowly losing control over the rational side of my brain. Y/n is laying there, her blood pooling around her, and I’m being held back by this asshole who doesn’t seem to understand that Y/n is dying!
Wilby, I’m tired,” Y/n says, reaching out towards me. “I’m cold and tired.”
My heart breaks, and my body gives out. Dream won’t let me go until he knows for sure I can’t help her. But she sounds so weak, so fragile. All I want to do I hold her in my arms, but I can’t. I look at the ground as tears stream down my face. I couldn’t protect the one person that means the world to me.
My head flies up as I hear Techno yell,
“No!”
And Y/n lets out yet another blood-curdling scream. Dream had stabbed her leg, causing even more blood to leave her already pale body.
“Let him go,” Dream said, turning towards the guard holding me.
The guard releases me and I immediately rush to Y/n’s side. Pulling her carefully into my arms.
“Wilbur?” She calls weakly.
“I’m here baby, I’m here.”
Techno, Tommy, and Tubbo and let up to us. Techno immediately tends to Y/n’s wound on her side, trying to stop as much of the bleeding.
“Wilbur, I’m tired,” She says, trying so hard to keep her eyes open.
Now that I’m holding her, I can feel how uneven her breaths are. She’s trying so hard to stay awake.
“It’s gonna be okay darling… Close your eyes and rest my love…” I tell her, seeing her body relax knowing that we’ll be okay.
I hum her favorite song to her, as her breathing begins to steady. I lay her in the grass before kissing her cheek. Isn’t it funny how her story ends in her favorite field of flowers?
I stand up, looking at all the faces of our friends, her friends. Tears streaming down all their faces. I can only guess what goodbyes they are silently saying.
I turn away from everyone, heading to the one place I know I shouldn’t go to. But I don’t care anymore.
༺—–3rd Person—–༻
As Wilbur walks away, each person left behind weeps for Y/n. Hoping that somehow, she could survive this. They watch as Techno does whatever he can to keep her alive.
Her breathing becomes so slow that it looks as if she isn’t breathing. Techno, who is still putting pressure on her wound begins to think that it’s too late.
“NO! NO, COME ON Y/N BREATHE FOR ME, FOR US! PLEASE WAKE UP! You’re Y/n… and I’m Techno… We never die…”
Everyone’s hearts sink as Techno falls forward into Y/n’s shoulder. The girl he has always seen as a sister is gone. He cries, no one has seen him cry and it causes everyone to lose hope.
“Please don’t leave me Y/n! Please just stay with me!” Tommy cries as he sees her still body.
Everyone silently says their goodbyes or their prayers to Y/n. Hoping that somehow, she’ll hear them.
“Come on Y/n, don’t leave me now… We still have so much left to do my friend,” Jack whispers, wiping tears from his eyes.
“Come on Y/n, you have to wake up mamasita, please don’t leave me,” Quackity says as he watches Techno try to shake you awake.
“I would travel 1,000 years back just to see you again…” Karl says, letting the tears flow freely, thinking back to all the good memories you two had.
“Silly muffin…” BadBoyHalo cries as he grips the chair in front of him for support.
“Goodbye, my princess. I’ll never forget you” Eret cries. “I guess it was never meant to be…”
Tubbo kneels next to Y/n and kisses her forehead. “Fly high with the bees Y/n.”
Sapnap looks up into the sky, imagining Y/n is smiling down on everyone, “Thank you for all the memories, I love you so much, little sis. Promise not to forget about me, okay? We’ll meet again someday…”
Niki falls to her knees hiding her face in her hands as she cries out, “Out of everyone to die, why you?”
“Fly high Y/n, fly high…” Foolish says quietly while looking into the sky.
“Goodnight darling, your work is done…” Ponk chokes out, tears pooling in his eyes.
“I’ll make that statue you always wanted… Okay, Y/n? That way no one can forget you…” Purpled says through tears, as he sinks to the floor.
“May they treat you better up there than they did down here little one…” Sam says, turning away from Y/n’s still body.
“You can’t leave me Y/n… Who will troll BadBoyHalo with me?” Skeppy laughs through the tears
“You can’t leave us yet flower… We still need you…” George says, hugging himself as he cries.
Fundy makes his way to the small group huddled around Y/n, falling next to her and taking her hand. “If you leave, who will be there to be like the mother I lost? I can’t lose another mom Y/n!”
Fundy’s cries broke everyone watching. Even Wilbur heard from where he had been walking away. He froze and slowly turned around to see everyone crying, trying to make sense of it all. Y/n was the light of the SMP, what was life gonna be like now?
Punz was silent until he watched Techno lift Y/n’s body. After that, he broke.
“You had a great life down here sis, but I bet you’ll have an even better one up there…” Punz says betweens choked sobs.
Up above, Schlatt is watching everything unfold, not able to tell what happened. He turns to see Y/n appear faintly next to him.
“Hey Y/n, it’s nice to see you up here. W-wait… No! Why are you here!?!”
But before he can get a response, Y/n vanishes from his side, and a small breath comes from her still body that Techno now carries far from everyone.

You were fighting for L’Manberg when it happened.
Schlatt had just died, Wilbur had elected Tubbo as president, then he blew up the country and was killed by his own father, and now Techno, Dream, and his lackeys were fighting against you as they attempted to stop Pogtopia from reclaiming L’Manberg and making a new government.
Techno had spawned in withers, their screams ear-splitting as your ears were still recovering from the demeaning sound of the explosions minutes prior.
As you made your way across the rubble, losing your footing multiple times as the buildings you had spent time helping construct were now crumbling. As you made your way towards where the withers were raining down skulls on others, you gripped your bow tighter, notching an arrow.
As you raised your bow to start firing against the hellish creature, you vaguely registered a shout from your left before a body slammed into yours, the two of you rolling down a mound of rubble, nearing the ravine created by the explosion. Seeing the colourful sparks behind you, you realised Technoblade had shot a firework at you, attempting to take your second canon life, which you were now about to lose.
As the two of you came to a stop, you slipped over the edge of the ravine, your hands, grabbing onto the ledge to stop yourself from falling. But the weight of your body and the momentum of you tipping you over the edge, unfortunately, made it so you couldn’t maintain your grip. As you began to accept that you would die, two hands grabbed onto your arms, stopping you from falling.
Your eyes locked with your saviour, as he began to haul your body up. Finding places you could lodge your feet, you helped push yourself upwards, your brain finally registering that it was Karl that had saved you, him continuously repeating how he’s got you, and that you're safe.
As you were finally on the ground, safe and away from the edge, did the chat ping, saying you had a new achievement alongside Karl.
Karl Jacobs made the achievement Personal Guardian.
Y/n made the achievement Hey There Soulmate.
“Guess were soulmates.” Karl breathed out, hovering next to you as he was catching his breath. His eyes locked with yours, you could see the worry in them, as they started to flit over your body, checking for any additional injuries you may have had. “Are you okay?” he whispered out, you somehow hearing him over the noise of the makeshift battlefield.
“Shut up Jacobs.” You quipped back smiling before grabbing onto the front of his hoodie and pressing your lips against his, him falling onto your lap as his hands cupped your face.

what you need to understand about cwilbur is that when it came to l'manberg he was imposter syndrome personified. l'manberg itself was good (AHEM. IT WAS TOMMY) but everything about his leadership was not. he didn't know what he was doing, he was in over his head, he projected confidence for the sake of the people but he was a fraud, he led his army to a losing battle that got all of them killed, and the only way they got independence was because his little brother traded music discs for it. his citizens voted him off the country along with the one person he needed to protect the most. he was a failure.
but when it came to pogtopia,., he was damn good at being the villain. he was unpredictable, terrifying, unstoppable (or close to it) because the weight was off his shoulders. everything he was failing at was flipped on his head. he didn't have to protect a country, or the people he loves. he had to destroy it, all of it, and let people see him for who he really is (a ticking time bomb). and he did. he couldnt call l'manberg his he will call its crater. he couldnt be the one to bring his people peace he will bring them war. it feels like how it was always meant to be. finally something he can succeed in

My complicated thoughts on c!Wilbur's ending (I tried to make this short)
For me, there are things about Wilbur's ending I still don't vibe with because they'd need to be more expanded on to be effective
The whole last arc still feels like a big flop because in the end Wilbur just kinda got stomped all over until in the end he followed Phil's worst advice for the worst moment and went away with that idea of "If they don't forgive me I have to go", and Phil's erroneous message was just kinda never really defied by the narrative
I still wish he would've had a moment to yell at someone and be rightfully mad because holy shit he should've, a scene to parallel Ghostbur's rightful anger at phil during Doomsday that felt to be so easily set up with Wilbur being reminded a few times that Phil, Techno and Dream did doomsday and the crater wasn't from the 16th, and with him having to confront and be pretty disappointed in it just being "his grave" when he had no grave, lighting up at the idea that L'manburg was worth enough to rebuild after he was gone in his conversation with Tubbo on the 3rd of August 2021 stream
The book for Eret and half of what was said in it regarding Eret is still shit in the context of my own Judas being a thing, with Eret only chastising Wilbur for "not apologizing well enough" when Wilbur never did anything to Eret aside from rightfully not trusting them once Eret murdered everyone for their own selfish gain and continued to do shit to the L'manburgians after (which is all in lost VODs and this isn't Eret crit centric, so I won't go too far into this, but the towers to make them feel watched, something like covering the sun on their territory to make mobs spawn, etc). Eret never apologized for real, Eret admitted to wanting Wilbur to be a sort of puppet leader in a new country to essentially make Eret a dictator, as she later said that democracy wasn't good, the only reason why she told Wilbur not to jump off the bridge was because "think of all the resources I wasted trying to revive you", she made the empty gesture of throwing away the crown for like the third time while losing no real power or status, etc
And I don't like that in defending the ending so much in the most literal sense some people have just disregarded what in my opinion makes the ending more interesting, which is that the Utah desert can be seen as a metaphor for the afterlife, but an afterlife in which Wilbur went to his imagined desert instead of the limbo he thought he deserved to suffer in, because that possible interpretation was clearly done intentionally with the Eret book, the Ozimandias callback, the "I never did forgive myself", and we know that Wilbur wants us to analyze the ending as he himself said it
So I understand those who didn't like it, had some problems with it or were dissatisfied, because I myself could never be satisfied by it, because to have that I would need everyone else who isn't Wilbur to own up to their own shit and make it explicit that Wilbur isn't and wasn't at fault for everything
Have Eret actually say a real sorry for killing him and all L'manburgians and it to have weight for real, have Niki own up to the fact that she was never abandoned, but she did betray the L'manburgians multiple times, have Fundy and Wilbur have a talk about the Pogtopia buttons and Fundy disowning Wilbur as a father, have Phil own up to and suffer consequences for Doomsday, let Wilbur actually confront the reality of Doomsday with Phil there, have them talk about the 16th, have Wilbur come closer to an understanding with Ghostbur from that going further than just sending Friend to him, get some deeper understanding of Ghostbur as a part of himself, have Wilbur see that self-love isn't letting yourself be beaten down and stepped over for the comfort of those who wronged you, have him see and others confront that he isn't just a scapegoat and he isn't the source of all evil, have that mythical reddit post that put this all so clearly guide the steps to this
But I get that it all would hinge on all these characters with pretty bad writing in general getting their shit together and actually being written well for longer than just one stream, things should've started changing with them all from hitting on 16 onwards and that just wouldn't happen, so in the context of what cc!Wilbur could do by himself, it's pretty good, and the open ended-ness and little more metaphorical pieces such as the nice afterlife in the desert, the bandage being gone without us ever getting a proper explanation of it, Ghostbur getting Friend sent to him by Wilbur even if Wilbur will forever separate himself from the idea of Ghostbur makes it all feel like at least c!Wilbur himself is... Ok. He isn't doing incredibly good, he still doesn't forgive himself, but hell, he's ok, be it at peace in a literal place or the afterlife, in the end he went off with a smile, he made his decision and got at least Tommy to talk with him one last time on ok-ish terms, in the end at least he knows that Tommy cares, even if it would've been much better to have more
More people involved, more explained and shown, more time, but alas this is it

okay i’m on my fundy bullshit again. like, he’s such a well-executed character, especially in terms of what abandonment, loneliness, and constant losses does to a single person. i mean, just compare his demeanor from the pet war and his demeanor right now. there’s a sense of vigor, agency, and belief of himself that isn’t present now.
his character is a slow burn of internalization of insecurity. it gets to him slowly, and it sucks more because majority of the time, people unintentionally leave him alone, but the constancy of this abandonment will obviously still hurt fundy. the pet war, l’manberg, manberg, pogtopia, new l’manberg, his family - he lost all of that. hell, he was on both sides in the manberg vs pogtopia dispute and lost two people he looked up to in one day. of course fundy would view himself as the common denominator screwing everything over - that’s what his dreams tell him each night.
and speaking of his dreams, do you realize how much his dream’s prophecies are completely avoidable if he had any support system to rely on? sure, maybe he couldn’t have avoided the creation of las nevadas or wilbur’s revival, but he could’ve given the others time to prepare. the whole weight of the dream smp’s future is foreseen by fundy. he’s been given this incredibly OP tool for him to help others, and yet... he can’t. he doesn’t have any close relations anymore, and it fucks me up to think that this gift that he has is so useful yet he can’t give it to anyone. and thus, it becomes a burden to bear, to watch everyone’s fates without being able to tell them.
and he’s also scared of people’s perception of him. he blames himself for what happened to l’manberg. interpersonal relationships mean so much to fundy ever since the beginning, yet he’s lost all of them. when a man’s motivations is so ingrained with the people he loves, what will he do when he loses touch with all of them? where does he go? and most importantly, how will he think of himself?

here's an analysis that no one asked for or needs but that I am providing anyways
no more moral vs immoral analysis, which villain arcs are fueled by grief and which are malicious.
- revolution dream [malice]: l'manberg was built in empty forest and fully intended on avoiding conflict with the wider smp, believing in words over violence and insisting that they treat dream like a neighbor. if anything wilbur was naive. declaring war and then killing 4 people (with 5 deaths total) wasn't fueled by any emotional loss on dream's part.
- pogtopia wilbur [grief]: wilbur's downspiral was an emotional one, fueled by feelings of abandonment, paranoia, and self hatred that extended towards things that he'd created and that were important to him. he suffered for his naivety and never got his footing afterwards. l'manberg died under the weight of his grief.
- pogtopia schlatt [malice]: mans is a disney villain that can say fuck and I love him for it.
- pogtopia techno [mal-ief]: he went into the situation knowing that he was going to destroy l'manberg for the sole reason of that aligning with his politics. two quotes: "History will forget that a country ever existed here." "A dog eat dog world where only the strong can survive and the weak live huddled in fear." you can agree or disagree with his philosophy but you can't argue that his desire to destroy l'manberg originated from personal emotional stakes.
However, regardless of the context techno felt emotionally betrayed the night of the 16th, which while not affecting his desire to see l'manberg turned to ash Did affect his actions in his ultimate heel turn away from the pogtopians.
- everything else dream [malice, but like, bold and capitalized]: this teletubby can fit so much hate in him
- new l'manberg [grief]: in the aftermath of the war, of losing what they'd fought so hard for, in losing people who were important to them but still hurt them, in dying and killing for their freedom only to realize it was in name only and they were beholden to the whims of the very person they tried to emancipate from, in having someone important to them ripped away with no one being able to do anything to stop it without risking the life of the country itself, with the realization that they were still powerless they lashed out and bit outside of their weight class and made everything worse for themselves for it. they were desperate and afraid and scrabbling for power that ultimately wasn't going to save them from the inevitable (mind, inevitable because of the desires of a certain masked man).
- exiled tommy [grief]: abandoned and hopeless, he lashed out to claw for a sense of control that anger couldn't give him. lead to believe that no one he'd cared for cared about him, he pushed people away in the same breath that he desperately reached out for them. he ultimately pulled himself away from his anger when he recognized the grief in hurting those important to him.
- doomsday techno [grief]: his goals are the same, but the fire behind them were re-lit by conflict outside of his control. he never lost what was his but he was afraid for it for maybe the first time. if he was willing to crush a nation for nothing then he's willing to crush a nation for that. both the innocent and the guilty burned with the fire of his grief.
- doomsday phil [grief]: grief for a child lost too soon and too sudden, something too horrible for a parent to process. his son's legacy burned under an accusation of guilt, the truth ash under his feet.
- doomsday fundy [grief]: grief in the face of total oblivion, grief in the face of losing everything you've ever tried to hold onto. he tried to become a villain so he could be anything at all, but the end of the world around him drowned his despair.
- team rocket niki [grief]: what do you do when everything that's hurt you is gone? she couldn't believe in l'manberg, she couldn't believe in her community, she couldn't believe that people who loved her could hurt her the way the she felt. but l'manberg was gone, wilbur was gone, and their ghosts were untouchable. what was left was a boy who sewed them into his heart and bled in their absence, and her grief burned
- team rocket jack [grief]: anger is so much easier to live with than the certainty that you're alone. everyone moved on and you were alone, everyone moved on and you burned for reaching out. you died in the crowed and everyone moved on. you hate the hand that used to hold yours, side by side as brothers, because it's left you cold in its absence. your grief is cold, your anger burns hot.
- egg [grief/malice]: the egg rips you empty and promises to fill the void it left. grief hidden out of sight of blinded eyes as you march unknowing into willing jaws
- the warden [grief]: a man driven to the brink and beyond by responsibility that no one should bare and that no one Had to bare. a heart steeled by "I'm the only one who can do this" is necessary in the face of monsters, but devastating in the face of the innocent. he's destroyed himself with the double blade of responsibility and guilt, and he can no longer handle the weight of his grief alone. he paved those roads with good intentions.
- las nevadas quackity [grief]: powerlessness in the face of atrocities slowly transform desperate people into selfish ones. the good don't survive and the good don't get to hold on to what they love and the good don't get to win because the bad play dirty. he can't move heaven and earth to make the world fair, so he's going to be the house that always wins. he mourns a world that used to feel kind
- outpost tubbo [grief]: when obedience doesn't work, when growling and snarling doesn't work, when fear doesn't work, a cornered dog will bite. friend or foe doesn't matter in the face of desperation, especially when a parent guards their pup
- puffy [grief]: that was Her l'targay

Why I loved jschlatts villain character
/dsmp /rp
He was introduced as Tommy’s hero. The whole stream was him following them around and causing confusion and chaos
Never lets anyone one up him, will dominate anyone with words. Seriously this guy is such an ENTP
That being said, was all bark no bite. Managed to convince/ manipulate people to do what he wants. In one stream he was armorless and surrounded by mobs and nearly died but was like “omg u gotta help me” and Tommy did lol
HIS VILLAIN SPEECHES?? FUCKING ICONIC Had some of the most memorable lines in all of the dream smp
“My first decree as the president, the EMPORER, of this great country!!! Is to revoke the citizenship of Wilbur soot and tommyinnit!!!”
Fucking chills
The story needed more conflict and everyone kinda wanted to be on team good guy so Schlatt was like: fine I’ll do it myself
Originally ran as president because.,,,, he probably just wanted to cause problems
99% sure he was drunk that day
HIS SCREAM LAUGH???? Superb villainy
The cc doesn’t stream and therefore no one to entertain. He did this all for himself
Literally had no reason to be evil, was just like “I am going to make a character that is so evil and sexy” and we were all like good for him
The suit??? The tie?? The horns??? This villains got style. C!dream take notes teletubby
He didn’t have much depth but my god he did perfect in his role as evil dictator dude
Also the chill streams were so funny, him and quackity’s date felt like the villain couples just chilling after a day of wreaking havoc
Never dropped character even for a second
He always seemed one step ahead,,, he knew tubbo was a spy and planned the festival,,, he knew of the tnt under lmanburg,,, he had a revival book somehow and got dream on his side,,,
Took the L out of lmanburg which was ingenious because it meant they didn’t lose, and also Americanized it cuz they originally added the L to sound more European
Flatty Patty
Whenever he called Wilbur “lover boy” ohgoshoshithhhh
Immediately tried flirting with technoblade the moment he showed up to get him on his side
Was able to tear pogtopia against each other by making techno kill tubbo
I don’t even have to explain why making tubbo decorate his own execution was brilliant storytelling
He was intimidating, personally affected the “protagonists,” had an air of mystery and charisma, but .... he was also weird. He’s a weirdo. He doesn’t fit in, and he doesn’t want to. You ever see him without his stupid suit? That’s weird
Got high off protein powder 24/7
While high on said protein powder would randomly start lifting weights. Can’t miss leg day ig
“WÒÖØØØŌÔÒÕÕ”
This guy should be a voice actor
Didnt know how to swim but kept forgetting he didn’t know how to swim and had to be repeatedly punched out of water
I honestly thought his death was done really well- he pushed everyone away from him and spiraled into an addiction to alcohol and protein powder, and at the end of his time he was surrounded by everyone he pushed away. No one helped him when he was in pain. All just stared with pitiful and cold eyes. A pathetic way to go for a pathetic man.
TLDR: c!schlatt will always have a special place in my heart because I love me some Funny bastard villains.
Also a fusion of dream and Schlatt would be Bill Cipher I am not wrong ever
Feel free to add on !!
Edit:
offered alcohol to tubbo at one point- “here tubbo u gotta try some of this” tubbo being the responsible one “no thank you schlatt I don’t think that’s a good idea”
Fell off cliffs a lot
Never would run. God his character looks so dumb I fucking love it
Seems like he and c!Wilbur had a history, like exes or something.
The iconic “His Vice President stole my women!!! And Wilbur .... *sobbing* he stole my heart” :(
“If I die, this country goes down with me.” Well he wasn’t wrong
I completely forgot about him tearing down the Lmanburg walls! He was also about to take down the caravan, but.... guys just watch’s tubbo or quackitys POV of Election Day, u won’t regret it
The boxing match during the festival was so funny. Everyone had to take off their armor , and schlatt who never wore armor went up against fundy. Right as the bell rang he put on all diamond armor and murked fundy. A true summary of his character
“If you want your ass to get fatter, your gonna have to start doing squats with a liTTLE MORE WEIGHT ON IT BIG BOYYYY”
#mcyt#dream smp#long post#tommyinnit#tubbo#wilbur soot#quackity#dream#jschlatt#c!schlatt#also just though I should say I don’t watch or support schlatt. literally the only media I’ve consumed#of his was his dream smp stuff where he didn’t stream.#the content creator I mean lol#schlatt#c!jschlatt

DESPARING SINGLE MEN IN YOUR AREA
hi c!wilbur fans how you doing. okay if you know me - even though i don't think ive ever mentioned this - my favourite dsmp era is pogtopia. it just. something about it clicks so nicely in my head. anyways heres Cicada Days by Will Wood but im looking at it through the lens of C!wilbur.
The greener grass grows where the wildfires fertilize With ashes of sparrows, peppered moths, and butterflies Ghosts of trees and termites bloom in the beanstalk And if you get lightheaded when standing too fast Is it from shaking out the weight of phosphenes And past salt deposits on warm little rivers that burst from our words (L'manburg is gone. She has been poisoned. She could've been the future, could've been everything but we lost her and she's never going to be untarnished no matter how well we rebuild)
And God knows crying ain't gonna change a thing She said take care But I take more than I bring (I can't get better. I don't deserve to be better. That doesn't sound correct, that doesn't sound justified. I, I know this is the right path)
She said, "It just feels inhumane to lose this much" "'Cause when you leave you know you takе more than your love" Just one week of cicada days, wе're losing touch And I know it just feels inhumane to lose this much (Why did this happen. What did I do wrong. I've lost everyone, I need to loose everything as well, and it needs to be final. It needs to end this.)
Our nerves were braided under ceiling stars That were all glow in the dark, hanging over queen-sized Purple waves of ancient chemicals just whisper! Did you ever build with those endangered bones? Well, the ground looks soft enough to bury this now! Oh, please, oh no! (History can consume me, can write past my soul and make me what I truly am. That's okay. That's deserved. I'm ready. This is my destiny. Written in the stars)
And then my sponsor said "Do nothing, nothing works" And then my doctor said "Don't do that if it hurts!" (None of you know what I am going through. None of you care about what I"m going through it will be good for you when I'm gone I don't know how to live anymore. please.)
She said, "It just feels inhumane to lose this much" "'Cause when you leave you know you take more than your love" The seasons of cicada days, we can't make up And I know it just feels inhumane to lose this much (I loved too much. I cared too much. And thus I must shed those thoughts. I must move into new things. I need to leave. I think it will break me. Finally)
Let all my red flags fade to white, yeah, I give up! Don't let me leave, I'll only take more than I gave Okay, I'll pack my stuff Here at the end of days, my god, what have I done!? Christ, now it feels damn inhumane to get all I've dreamed of (I'm a monster. I'm a monster. I'm a monster. He hates me. They hate me. How could I do this. It's all I ever wanted. Why am I broken. Finally beautiful. goodbye)
Keep coming back, it works if you work it So work it, you're worth it, it won't if you don't One day at a time, tomorrow's too late, amen (It was never meant to be. and now it no longer is. goodbye.)
if you haven't you should listen to this god damn song its so. its. *crying uncontrollably*

Hybrid AU in exile week where avian instincts can take over to a degree that is almost horrific, erasing someone’s personality and rationality when they’re panicking. First part here.
Tommy is sick of being sat upon by some nut job avian he barely knows. His abuser has to be insanely worried about him, especially after Philza assaulted them for no reason.

Rather Be Devisive Than Indecisive pt. 2
You weren't planning to help Techno again, but here you are with his horse.
- ANON REQUESTED!
- I really wanted to do second part anyways! So thanks a bunch!
- this story is long 😪 it'll all make sense though!
- part 1 is here!
- masterlist!
To say everything went south was a understatement. Everything went to hell, and you were currently living in it. You missed watching the sunset standing ontop L'Manburg's walls, you missed the peacefulness before the war. Maybe back then was too good to be true.
After the last encounter with Technoblade you had turned back to help Tommy and Tubbo. You tried to help wherever you could because you can see everyone drift apart, the main reason people came together was gone and dead. You tried to be a bigger sibling to both of them, and you tried to Tubbo and the former citizens repair the crater Wilbur left behind.
It took years, but L'Manburg was new and fresh again, with the help of Tubbo's new cabinet of trusted people L'Manburg was peaceful again. Tubbo had made you apart of his cabinet as well as Quackity, Fundy, Tommy and Karl. It was a new beginning.
There were days where you wondered if Wilbur would get a funeral. Schlatt had gotton a funeral, but you saw first hand how that went it wasnt a somber moment at all. It was for the best, they had mixed feelings about Wilbur and you dont blame them.
You had a new family, but there were things unkown to you, things that are being created out of your knowledge and that scared you. We have new L'manburg, but it isnt the same you dont know how long Tubbo could uphold peace in this new kingdom.
New things were created from the end of a old one.
It was a peaceful day in L'Manburg just as Tubbo promised the new citizens. You had stayed busy the whole day until a certian blonde came around your house frantically urging you to get outside and follow him
"C'mon! Just follow me! I have something to show you!"
"Tommy what are you talking about?!"
"Its VERY important, hurry! I dont want him to leave that spot."
Tommy had dragged you by the arm to the pier that evening and kept chanting that he had to show you something of utmost importance. You were trying to ask questions and keep up with his pace as he weaved through buildings claiming they were a "shortcut". Tommy stopped you at the pier and stood to your side, he was looking back and forth at the end of the pier to the water and back to you again.
You were about to ask why you were there until you saw a familiar man.
"Oh! Hello! Tommy who is this?"
He was pale, no, he was transparent. He looked pale, the sunset's dull rays made it seem like he still had skin. He had a yellow sweater on with brown pants and black shoes. He looked comfortable, he looked free. Next to his side there was a sheep on a leash with blue dye, you noticed it was poorly dyed too the dye was dripping from its wool. It was Wilbur, physically, but it wasn't HIM.
"He's Ghostbur." Tommy whispered to you while he stood between you two.
"Yes, I'm Ghostbur!" The ghost cheerfully said.
"This- this is y/n. Dont you remember?" Tommy cautiously asked Ghostbur.
Ghostbur had a look of confusion and curiosity on his face. He seemed so pure compared to when he was alive.
"No..I can't, but I would love to know." He stuck out his hand in a greeting.
"Hi I'm ghostbur!"
"I'm y/n." You said lowly.
You tried to reach out and grab his hand but it went straight through. You hated it, he's gone and you couldn't bring him back. It isn't him, but Ghostbur maybe better, Wilbur is gone and thats okay. Something came out of nothing, you kept telling yourself that everything was okay, but now seeing Ghostbur so naive and pure and free of the world's weight you believed everything would be fine.
"Im sorry. Im transparent, and I have no flesh." Ghostbur smiled.
"That's fine." You paused looking for the right words. "Do you know what you did? To L'Manburg?"
"Believe me, he dosen't. I tried." Tommy said to you.
"I couldn't belive I would do such a thing." Ghostbur added on.
"He shares no memories of Wilbur. Basically a new person." Tommy continued.
"That's great." You perked up. "It's bittersweet ya know. But Im happy you're here Ghostbur!"
"Im happy I'm here too, and Im happy I met you today." Ghostbur smiled at you while his sheep walked towards you, he unknowingly rubbed up against you putting blue dye on your clothes.
"Oh! This is Friend! I forgot to mention him to you. You can pet him!"
You didnt want to. He was dripping with dye, but you did it to appease Ghostbur. Tommy cringed while you petted the slightly wet, blue sheep. Once you were done your hand was blue, you rubbed it on your clothes that were already blue.
"I think he likes you." Ghostbur cheerfully said.
You were so thankful for Tommy bringing you to that pier. It was the closure you needed to move on and focus on building a new life for all of you. A peaceful life, but it seemed too good to be true. Days went by like normal and that sometimes was too much for you. You worked on new buildings and worked with Tubbo's cabinet too, that was a new normality for you.
The unknown scared you, but you had your family here. You had made amends with them and now and this is what you wanted. But then again it all seemed too good to be true.
Nobody had told you anything, you weren't in cabinet meetings, nor around Tubbo or Tommy. You felt shut out, you felt sick. The cabinet had decided to do something about Tommy and Dream started to become involved in Tommy's predicament. Soon after Tommy was in court, stripped away of his vice presidency, and had been put on probation.
Tubbo had come to you about Tommy being exiled. There was a huge meeting with the cabient and Dream about that situation and you had stayed silent the whole time. You wanted what was best for L'Manburg, but Tommy was like a brother to you, you couldn't send him away to fend for himself. You could see the confliction on Tubbo's face as he was going through the same dilemma as you were.
In the end Dream gave Tubboo 3 days to chose if to exile Tommy or not.
Tubbo had talked to you about the situation before the second day came. You two were in the same boat when it came to exiling him. You two had came to a conclusion, Tubbo just had to talk with the rest of his cabinent for a final conclusion.
The second day came and the plan switched immediately when Tommy came and introduced it. He wanted to fight back against Dream, of course he did, but he wanted another man to come and help. They wanted Technoblade to join their revolt. Quackity and Fundy agreed with the idea, but Tubbo was more cautious. You hated it.
Technoblade wasn't a subject nor person you wanted to be associated with ever since that night in Pogtopia. After all this time you had forgotten about him, you had forgotten your failed attempt at rekindling your friendship until now.
Tubbo was cautious, but you were 100% against it. Tubbo agreed with the rest of the cabinet and Tommy. They eventually asked you, and of course you said no, but it didn't matter, majority rules in this case.
You all approched Dream intop of the obsidian walls with your final decision.
"We have come to a decision. Look around." Tubbk leaded.
"There's giant, obsidian walls." Dream answered calmly.
"There is, there is Dream. And that's a problem, okay? This is funny actually." Tubbo turned back to Tommy. "Tommy, I am- I am so sorry."
Tubbo continues to talk to Dream. "I have come to the decision, that it'll be better for the nation the most logical thing to do is for Tommy to be exiled from L'Manburg."
"What?"
"Tubbo?!"
"Teaming up with Technoblade is an awful idea! It's an awful idea!"
Oh thank goodness.
"We just had this conversation!" Fundy yelled.
"No! No! Okay?! Nothing! Involving any kind of conflict is not safe for this nation! You've undermined my authority from the get go! Okay! All of you! No one here has respected me. You all jump on these merry little bandwagons of destruction. It's not okay!"
Tubbo was livid. His face was turning red and will keep doing so if he kept yelling. You felt a familiar breeze beside you as you saw Ghostbur standing next to you and behind Tommy. He smiled at you and continued yo listen to Tubbo's angry speech. You wondered why he was here, why he showed up at times and then left. Like he only needed to listen and not give any input.
"You cant go back on the plan now?! What the hell?!" Tommy yelled.
"When I was sworn in I made a promise to do what was best for the nation. And right now, Tommy you, your presence here is not the best for his nation."
Your heart dropped to your stomach and you think ghostbur noticed. You were happy that you didnt need to see Technoblade again, but you were going to lose what you would call a brother. You started to backtrack on your final decision, you belived Tubbo was in thr right. Tubbo wanted what was best for L'Manburg and what was best for L'Manburg was for Tommy to be exiled. You wished there was another way, but you know Tommy was stubborn it wouldn't work that easy.
Your mind kept wandering to if Tubbo decided to team with Technoblade. He was right there would be destruction, a huge war and probably the end of L'Manburg. You didn't want that again, you didn't want to see him again. You couldn't help but wonder if he knew L'Manburg was brand new.
"Dream, please detain and escort Tommy out of my country."
Tommy was gone. Its been weeks, four weeks to be exact. L'Manburg was peaceful, everywhere was peaceful, but you had to admit that you missed him. Fundy and Quackity tried to convince Tubbo to bring Tommy back, but he already made up his mind. He was confident in his decision, you were proud he was ruling L'Manburg confidently, but everyone was weary.
You haven't seen Ghostbur around either, he must've been floating around somewhere. It's none of your business.
The walls have been taken down and L'Manburg was independent again. There were sacrifices to be made. There were a lot of sacrifices to be made to keep L'Manburg up, and you kept asking yourself if everything was worth it. Was the discs worth that much to Tommy? Was L'Manburg even a good choice to begin with?
Was Technoblade right?
The Butcher Gang. They were calling themselves The Butcher Gang. The cabinet had several meeting and came ti the decisions that the biggest problems in L'Manburg were Technoblade and Dream. The cabinet decided not to kill Dream because of the fact that he was allies with L'Manburg, so they decided to try and kill Technoblade.
Dumbasses. You've mentioned to Tubbo that he was a very, very, very dangerous man. Tubbo has seen him before! You asked Tubbo constantly why did he wants to kill him when he says that he didn't want to team up with him. Tubbo said it was for the better of L'Manburg, but dosent he know that might cause even more trouble?
You didnt want to join them, you couldn't risk your life for something that is impossible to achieve. You separated from the cabinet, you couldn't watch them do this and you tried to stop them, but they insisted on the act.
Lately you've seen more of Ghostbur and that made you happy. It made you happy he wanted to spend time with you and it made you forget the trouble brewing in the cabinet.
"What's wrong?" Ghostbur asked while sitting on the edge of the pier with you, and Friend who was tied to one of the pier's poles.
"It's nothing Ghostbur." You said with a sigh.
"Good!" He cheerfully said.
"Can I actually tel you something?" You asked again, you wanted to get this off of your chest.
"Of course." He smiled.
You sighed and then began to speak as you looked out to the water. "It's the cabinet, its Tubbo, Fundy and Quackity that's the problem."
"But they are wonderful people! What can they do wrong?" Ghostbur suddenly asked.
"They want to kill someone, Ghostbur."
"Maybe it was a misunderstanding."
"I dont- I dont think so." You hung your head looking at your feet.
"Ghostbur, they want to kill Technoblade and I dont-"
"Technoblade?! That's my friend! Why- why would they want to kill him?"
Your heart felt heavy at his words. Another point not to kill Technoblade, you didn't want Ghostbur to hurt, not like Wilbur.
"He was a friend of mine too once. When L'Manburg first got blown up he- we betrayed L'Manburg and then spawned 3 wither skeletons to destroy the rest of the citizens." You explained to Ghostbur's disrught face.
"You wouldn't do that! You're kind!" Ghostbur exclaimed.
"It wasn't my best decision Ghostbur. People can make bad mistakes. A lot of people do. They aren't pure like you." You smiled softly at him.
A long hush fell over the two of you until Ghostbur perked up.
"We need to save Technoblade!" He exclaimed.
"Ghostbur I cant do that."
"Why not?"
"Because me and Techno aren't friends anymore." You said sadly.
"Why not?"
You couldn't answer that. You can, you can give the right answer, but at this moment you couldnt tell the ghost who suddenly stood up next to you.
"If I take you to where Technoblade lives will you feel better?" Ghostbur asked with Friend's leash in his hands.
Tubbo, Fundy and Quackity didnt know where Technoblade lives and desperately wanted to know to kill him. Maybe this was a good idea. You tried to convince yourself that as you walked side by side with Ghostbur. You had followed him through the woods as he weaved in and out of the trees. Friend was following Ghostbur as well, he wouldn't let Friend stay anywhere out of his sight.
You were getting special treatment, you were about to find out where Technoblade lived before The Butcher Gang would. Would you be considered a traitor again? Tubbo wouldn't want you back in the cabinet if you knew where Technoblade lived and you didnt tell him.
The atmosphere got colder as you two ventured on, you didnt know he would retreat all the way out here. It was snowing and you didn't bring any type of warm clothing considering L'Manburg was rather warm. Ghostbur had no problem, neither did Friend. Luckily you saw a light in the dark woods. It was further away, but you could see the light expand as you two treaded over towards it.
"That's the house!" Ghostbur pointed too.
You two reached the end of the woods and before you was an opening. There was blanket of white snow everywhere, there were footprints in the snow, but they were being covered by the falling snow above you. It was a valley and the only thing there was a beautiful wooden house. It was errie, the only civilization here was was Technoblade who lived in the house.
"It's pretty lonely." You said still cautious of the situation.
"Yeah it's sad, but we're here and it's okay!" Ghostbur said.
"Sure." You whispered as Ghostbur continues to lead the way.
You two got closer and closer to the house and you continued to try and back out. It's too late to do so now, you didnt even feel like walking back to L'Manburg after you confront Technoblade again. The two of you were heading up to his door, your heart was beating heavier as you got to his door. You brought your fist up to knock on the door, hopefully he was home because you were freezing cold. You harshly knocked on his door and awaited for his response.
You two waited for a while, but no one was opening the door.
"Ghostbur why don't you go inside?"
"I'll just peak my head in!" He answered and did so. His head phased through the door and then he came back out with a frown on his face. "No one is in there."
"Why did we come here?" You sulked and started to turn away from the door.
"Why the hell are you two here at night?!"
"Oh! Techno! Hi!"
Shit. You were looking into his eyes and you froze when he turned to you. This was the first time you've seen him in years ever since Pogtopia, you hated it. It was embarrassing you tried to become friends long ago, but that failed, and now you were here again. He probably saw you as desperate, coming back to him after betraying him.
"Hello Ghostbur. How are you?" Technoblade walked in between the two of you opening the door to his house. When he walked in he intentionally left the door open for you and Ghostbur. Luckily it was warmer inside and you welcomed it.
"Im good! But we are here for you." Ghostbur cheerfully said.
"Oh really?" Technoblade said while occupying himself with something else, not even bothering to look at the two of you standing awkwardly at his closed door.
"Yeah, Y/N tell him!" Ghostbur urged you on.
You paused for a second before speaking to Technoblade, who wasnt even paying attention. "There's these people called the Butcher Gang."
"Sounds stupid."
"Yeah it is. And they want you."
Techno scoffed. "Want me for what?"
You knew Technoblade was smarter than this. He was bouncing around the room not even sparing a glance towards you. He wasn't paying attention.
"They want to kill you Technoblade."
He stopped all of his movements, stood up to his full height and looked towards you and Ghostbur for the first time you've been in his house.
"You better not be screwing with me."
"Why would I?!" You got offended by his statement.
"I dont know, because you show up to my house out of nowhere and tell me that people are trying to kill me. This could be a setup! I cant trust-"
"Okay! The Butcher Gang is Tubbo, Quackity and Fundy. Thats all I know of who's in the group. They want to kill you because you are a threat to L'Manburg. Trust me!" You cut him off and explained.
"What do you want me to do about it?" Technoblade asked you.
"Dont kill them, but I wanted to warn you. They are being reckless and since you're out here they shouldn't bother you. They're looking for more trouble, Tubbo already has a lot on his plate, this isn't a good idea for you nor L'Manburg."
You finished your statement still weary of this whole situation. You hated being in this situation, Techno's presence didn't make you uncomfortable it was just seeing him and warning him of future danger. You two weren't even considered close, why were you here? You were here for L'Manburg.
"Okay. I'll try. No promises though." Techno smirked and continued doing whatever task he was doing.
You found somewhere to sit for the time being knowing that you two wouldn't talk. Looking around the room you realized that Friend was alone inside the house without Ghostbur. You looked outside and saw him walking from the woods again in a rushed pace. You didn't know he left, he phased back into the house.
"They say they're gonna kill you. Y/n was right." Ghostbur says.
"Were you two leading them to my house?!"
"No."
"No we didn't! We didn't even know they were coming today!" You stood up looking out the window in search of Tubbo and the rest of them.
"Ghostbur who was with them?" You asked as Techno ran around the rooms for weapons and armor.
"Um, Tubbo, Fundy, Quackity..Oh! And Ranboo."
"Ranboo?!" That poor kid. What is he doing?
"Eventhough I hate to say this. I don't trust you. Get out." Technoblade paused infront of you before rushing to the other room. "And tell them I'm not home!"
"And if that dosent work?!" You yelled back.
"Then to hell with them!"
You rushed outside with Ghostbur, hoping that the Butcher Gang dosen't notice you were leaving Technoblade's house. It was too late, they were already lined up outside with full netherite armor and gear.
"Y/n?!"
"Wait what are you doing here?" Tubbo asked as you made your way towards them.
"Im- I wanted to try and rekindle mine and Technoblade's relationship." You used an old lie to get yourself out of this situation. This was an already bad look on you, hopefully your lie would work.
"I thought your friendship ended a long time ago?" Tubbo asked again.
"It did, but I wanted to try again." This was embarrassing, now you really seem desperate.
"I see, then move out of our way." Tubbo asked you harshly.
"Uh- hey." Technoblade came out of his house with full netherite too, you weren't protected, so you will have to stay out of the way.
"Why have you guys come all the way over here to my humble abode?" Technoblade started walking towards his stable where he kelt his horse. He tried to lighten the mood, but it didn't seem to work. As he moved you moved with him trying not to be inbetween the dangerous men with swords and enchanted armor.
"You need to pay for your war crimes." Tubbo said while following Technoblade.
"That was like- that's in the past! Alright, that was a different Technoblade. Im a changed man now! Im in retirement! Im a good person now Tubbo!" Technoblade dragged on as Tubbo just hummed in response.
Quackity spoke up. "Technoblade you exploded L'Manburg with fucking withers."
"You literally spawned Withers everywhere!" Tubbo exclaimed.
"Im sorry, Im sorry Technoblade as much as you changed you have to be brought to justice for that." Quackity interrupted Tubbo.
The Butcher Gang tried to speak to Technoblade at the same time, when Technoblade spoke up over them all.
"Listen guys! I've gone through so much effort over the past month to change my violent ways! I've reformed alright? The voices, they demand blood! And I- I have been denying THEM! Ive been fighting back! Please! Please dont make me kill all of you, please just leave."
You guess he has changed, but you knew somewhere in your mind that he wasn't talking about just the Butcher Gang, he was including you too. You were somewhat confident that you wouldn't be attacked or killed, but you were terribly wrong before.
There was back and forth banter between the two of them. Techno had tried to show the gang his bees and tried to make a run for it.
"Techno!"
"Hey!"
"He's running!"
The gang started running towards him, but instead of continuing he stopped and turned to them. You were trailing behind trying to catch up to them, you kept running after them. You were not equipped for this night, you didn't know Ghostbur was going to bring you out in the open cold. You could hear Ghostbur behind you as you continued to run towards them.
"Y/N you're gonna damage yourself!" Ghostbur's voice became more echoed and further away as you tried to get closer to the gang before they got killed.
"There's no other way."
"Tubbo dont be stupid!" You were right behind the Butcher Gang.
"There's no other way!"
Fuck
"I CHOSE BLOOD!"
A cloud of smoke enveloped the 6 of you and you suddenly could see. You could only see the glint of everyone's armor.
"Y/N get behind us!" Tubbo tried to blocked you off from reaching Technoblade.
"Why didn't you bring any armor?!" Quackity yelled.
"I didn't think i was gonna be fucking out here!"
Technoblade must've set off multiple smoke bombs because the smoke wouldn't stop, the smoke made you woozy, but the others didnt seemed phased by it at all and kept fighting Technoblade. Your lungs felt full, and you felt like passing out, but you wouldn't allow yourself to do so.
"Tubbo stop this!" You yelled out when the smoke cleared a little.
"No! He needs to pay!" He said while fighting with Fundy.
The air was still hazy and you lost sight of people occasionally. Whipping your head around you were met with what felt like the butt of a axe. You quickly saw a split second of a shiny axe and then a pain in your chest spiked up. You double back and tried to recover, but then you've been sliced in the thigh and a deep cut in your side taking you down to the ground. You were bleeding out and desperately trying to heal the wound in your side. You felt your consciousness slowly slip from you as you laid on the snow. The warm contrast of your blood compared to the cold snow was sad. You always get hurt, no matter what you do. It's inevitable, and you finally gotten used to it.
The last thing you heard was yelling, but it slowly faded out.
You were warm, and not in the middle of nowhere anymore. You opened your eyes to see yourself staring at a polished wood ceiling, the soft pillows and blankets around you made everything feel so much better. Your whole body hurts, you dont want to move nor do you want to remember. Thank goodness that someone had patched you up, you didn't want to die. You tried shifting your body but the pain in your side was denying any movement.
"Oh! You're awake thank God!" A voice called out from your side. You looked over to see the half human hafl enderman sitting in a chair by a window. "I thought you weren't gonna wake up! Tubbo and the rest if the cabinet was worried as well."
"Were you the one who patched me up?" You asked carefully.
"Yeah! Luckily I can see in that fog, so I took you away and patched you up." Ranboo smiled.
"Who- who hit me?" You asked trying to sit up again.
Ranboo paused. "Technoblade." Ranboo said in a somber tone.
"I see." You sighed.
Ranboo helped you sit back on the headboard of the bed and you two continued to talk.
"Are you mad at him?"
"Im just upset. Its okay, he said he'll kill all of us so I knew he would." You kept your gaze at you lap.
"Yeah I get it." Ranboo replied.
"I have a question ranboo!" You perked up.
"Yeah? Shoot."
"Why did you join the Butcher Gang?" You asked the taller man. He stayed silent thinking of a right answer before actually speaking.
"They were nice to me. I trust people who are nice to me, that show me kindness and treat me with respect. I know its lame, my answer isn't fully fleshed out, but that's the reason." Ranboo shrugged and you nodded.
You would love to know Ranboo more, he seems like a great guy, but he's just lost.
"Oh! I forgot! You have a letter!" Ranboo walked around the bed and brought out a folded piece of paper and handed it to you.
You unfolded it and began to read.
𝘔𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘤𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘦
𝘠𝘰𝘶'𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵. 𝘐 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶
- 𝘋
"Execution site?" You looked towards Ranboo.
"Oh yeah! Technoblade's execution is today an-"
"How the hell did you get him?!" You interrupted him. "Im sorry."
Ranboo looked shocked before composing himself. "Dont worry! Well, we took his horse hostage and he immediately wanted to surrender if we didn't let Carl go." Ranboo gathered stuff around the room. "And the execution is today, happening in a few minutes and I need to be there. I'll be back soon to check up on you!"
You nodded and continued to listen to him.
"Are- are you coming?" Ranboo sent one last glance towards you before making his way out.
"You know you dont HAVE to go." You said trying to ease the tension.
"I know. I really do know." He sighed. "Are you sure you dont want to?"
"No, Im okay." You sent him a smile.
You had lied again. Of course you didn't want to see Technoblade get killed, but that note that was left made you go to the cave. You trudged you way up to said cave, even though the pain in your side was unbearable you continued on. Once you had gotton up to the cave, you peaked inside cautiously. You saw a man in a cloak with a familiar mask on with Technoblade's horse. You knew it was Dream.
"Hello."
"Hello Dream."
"I will cut right to the chase. Take Carl and wait here. I have other work to do." He handed you the reigns to Carl and started to leave.
"Excuse me!? What do I do? Why do I wait here?!" You yelled after him and he just waved you off.
You rolled your eyes and found a stone in the cave to rest against with Carl's reigns lazily in your hands.
You didnt know what time it was, but the sun was slowly going down, it wasn't particularly sunset, but you knew it was late. Your eyes began to close until your heard screaming in the distance. You sat up slowly, now fully alert. You held Carl's reigns tighter as you backed into the cave more and more.
Footsteps were heard in the distance coming up to the cave and you thought if Dream had set you up for failure. The footsteps grew louder until a panting Technoblade appeared at the entrance at the cave. He looked horrible, he was thinking the same thing about you.
You two exchanged no words. You didn't want to say anything, what would you even say? He rushed over to Carl and started petting him. "Carl you're okay!"
You hummed as you and Techno shared a glance. He smiled at you. He smiled at you. It's been so long since you've seen him smile. He didn't need words to communicate, his eyes and smile said enough. You matched his smile and gave him a knowing nod and he did the same.
"Feel better eh?" Technoblade started conversation.
"Not really. What about you?"
"Eh- used a totem of undying just now."
"What?! Really?" You exclaimed. "I guess that's why you're here now huh?"
"Yeah I'll tell you about it sometimes." He smiled and climbed atop of his horse and you could see him thinking. "Im sorry too. You almost died cause of me. Thats is unacceptable, I shouldn't- I shouldn't have attacked you. I couldn't-"
"You cant control it. It's gonna take me awhile to recover, but..." You touched your bandaged cut. "It'll take me some time."
Technoblade nodded knowing what you meant. He could always read your mind somehow, thats what made you two work. Knowing eachother. He sent you one last silent goodbye before riding out of the cave. You knew that trust was somewhat restored, and that you two were better than before. This might be a new beginning.
A very angry Quackity came running around the corner of the cave and spotted you leaving. He whipped his head around to you.
"Hey! Where the fuck is Techno?!" He yelled at you.
"I don't know-"
"Dont bullshit me!"
"I. Don't. Know." You said more sternly. He gave you a hard glare before running away.
You went the opposite way trying to make it back to the room you woke up in before Ranboo came back.
Earlier you were desperately trying to befriend Techno, but things come more naturally you learned. You cant rush things, nor control this world. Things will fall into place, your and Technoblade's friendship will blossom again.
You will never find peace, but that's okay. You should be used to it by now. Everything is chaotic, but everything will be okay.

Stories of time (I)
Platonic! SBI x GN! Reader
Warnings: none
Word count: 2.1K
Synopsis: You tell the story of the Soldier, the Poet and the King, and place the book in Karl’s library for past Phil to find. Maybe with this, you’ll be bale to prevent the suffering and pain the family goes through in their future, which is your history. Inspired by the animatic ‘The soldier the poet and the king’ by ‘Кир!!!’. Contains memories and mild angst.
Requested: No
A/n: I actually wrote the sequel to this first and this part after when i wasn’t satisfied with the sequel and couldn’t add the bits i wanted to. Then i came up with this and it was so much fun to write, and i really enjoyed it. For story purposes some details may be switched around.
Italics are memories
Stories of time (II), Rules, Masterlist
Your hand wavered, quill gripped in your hand with ink ready at the nib, although you hesitated before putting it on the paper. So much had happened, everything was a chaos, but where did the story truly start?
Simply writing down what would happen in their future wouldn't do, it would throw everything for a loop and have unforeseeable effects.
No, you had to be discreet about this. If you wanted to change anything, then you'd have to be careful with your words.
Setting the quill on the paper, you started to move, words forming on the parchment paper as you weaved sentences together to form a story. On occasion your hand wavered, memories flashing through your mind as you wrote the words.
Telling a story that wasn't yours.
Not yours to know, to change, and perhaps to tell.
But you couldn't leave things as they were now. Too much had happened, too much pain, suffering, and anger.
The words turned to sentences, turned to a story.
Your eyes scanned the words, "There will come a soldier, who carries a mighty sword. He will tear city's down, empires down, people will speak of him as immortal."
A pained sigh left your lips as you remembered Technoblade. You hesitated, although you wanted to name the male in the book, you knew the weight it would ultimately carry.
"He will lead revolutions beside the most important figures in history, take down armies on his own, before raising one of his own, an army full of hounds."
Skipping a line, you put down the quill on paper once more, "There will come a poet, who's weapon is his words. He will slay you with his words."
Wilbur. He had been there since the beginning, perhaps he started the story all together. He formed L'manburg and tore it down. He died by the hands of his father before returning again.
"Able to turn anyone to his side, motivate people in the darkest of times. He will tell stories, lead men and create great things with his words alone."
For a moment you reconsidered, maybe this wouldn't work. There was an uncountable amount of books in the library, getting in there at the right moment was the easy part, it was much harder however to get it to Phil. You couldn't show yourself to him, he wouldn't even know you and in the end it would only complicate things.
Nevertheless you forced yourself to continue writing.
"There will come a king, who will lead countless of men." Tommy. He had been there at the beginning of L'manburg and fought for its survival, seen it rise and fall.
Once more you remembered how young he was during all of it, he had gone through so much that you could barely keep count. He fought for, and with, his friends countless of times to protect what he believed in.
"He will raise nations, lead men into battle and come out victorious. His confidence will be earned, and he will have people look at him for guidance."
Hours passed as you wrote, but your quill only left the paper to get dipped into ink once more. Lost deep in thought you told the stories that were written in your history.
"The poet motivates the people, those following him, and the king. He will be someone people turn to for guidance, for advice."
Tommy looked at Wilbur, eyes unbelievable as the older male placed his hand on his shoulder. His face was stern, forced by the pressure and stress he was enduring.
"Tommy, we can't keep talking now, this is it. This is where we take it all back. Either that, or we get nothing… Are you ready?"
Memories flashed before your eyes as you recollected the events. It felt as if L'manburg was from a distant past, somewhere far away, a lifetime ago, with everything that had happened in between.
Shaking your head, you gathered your thoughts, pulling them back to the parchment in front of you as you continued writing.
"The soldier will stand by his king, protecting him, putting his trust and loyalty in him."
We have something you'll never, ever, have," a smirk formed on his face, confident and mischievous, "We have The Blade"
He had been forced on his knees before, but from the trees behind him a large figure emerged. Cloaked, with his face hidden behind a large pig skull, and a glowing Netherite axe in his hands.
Techno placed his hand on Tommy's shoulder, who couldn't help his smile growing bigger as Techno positioned himself in front of him.
"but the king will rule, and his people will follow him into battle. He will bring hope to those standing beside him, those who put their trust in him"
"It's all destroyed." Niki's mutter was almost inaudible over the loud chaos that ensued in front of them. The hellish withers floating over the area and raining down their destruction over the hole where once had stood a powerful nation.
"No, it's not all destroyed yet, Niki! Kill the withers!" Maybe Tommy's persistence was naïve, but it motivated those around him.
"We need to take them down together, now everyone!" Gathering them to head into the battle with him, taking down the creatures one at a time.
All the good things come to an end, and maybe L'manburgs end was too soon, but for the time it lasted it was magnificent.
"These people will leave their imprints on history, influencing the world around them in unthinkable ways. Although they won't be able to last forever."
You dipped the quill into the ink pot once more, allowing it to scratch over the paper as you continued the story.
"The poets gift will become his downfall, for his words cannot save him, and his wondrous mind will betray him with lies and deceit. He will lose himself in his own mind, where the end shall near for him."
The smile on his face was tired, but satisfied. Oh so satisfied.
He stood in the dark room, hand caressing the button as his father stood across from him. He hadn't seen him built the nation, but he would see the end of it.
The amount of TnT hooked to the button made his heart beat faster in an unnatural kind of way, a satisfaction he wanted to achieve. His hand reached for the button, as Phil reached for him.
"It was never meant to be."
He couldn't reach him in time, hearing the hiss of the TNT setting off around him. He couldn't stop his son from pressing the button, so he protected him from the damage instead.
He sacrificed his wing as it shielded the two of them from the stone as the room collapsed on itself.
"My L'manburg Phil! My unfinished symphony, forever unfinished!" His voice was loud, madness evident within as he yelled out, looking over the ruined landscape before him.
His companions, who he once had considered his closest friends looked at him from a distance, from the battlefield. They looked confused, mad, although they struggled to believe what he had done to the nation he had helped built.
"Kill me Phil, kill me!"
Maybe he hadn't been here for the beginning of the nation, but he could see how his son had lost himself in the process he hadn't been there to witness.
Wilbur collapsed in his father's arms, Phil's blade pierced through his chest as he laid limp on the ground.
Unconsciously, tears had formed in your eyes at the memories. Blurring your vision as you stopped writing for a second, wiping your tears with your sleeve as you gathered your thoughts. The book had been filled steadily over the past hours as you wrote, reminiscing in the old memories.
"The soldier, bound by the loyalty and trust he put in those who he deemed worthy, will fall to that same loyalty and trust. He will be betrayed by those whom he trusted, stabbed in the back by his friends and companions."
Rage filled his veins at the sight. How could he have been so blind? How did he not see that coming? History repeated itself, it always had and always would. How were they ignorant enough to ignore that?
He acted on instinct, years of training and battles had automated his movements. Voices chanted the same words in sync in his mind, fuelling the rage inside him.
"I did not spent WEEKS! Planning this revolution! GIVING YOU GUYS POWER! For you to go in, and replace one tyrant with another!" The words left his mouth without filter, and he didn't regret any of it.
They had it coming for them after deciding to betray his trust.
You were nearing the end of the book, the amount of pages left thinning out as you continued. Hours had passed, although you weren't sure how many it had been at this point, just that it had been many.
"The king will turn everyone on him, for he will never be able to satisfy everyone. He will be exiled from his land, abandoned by his closest friends, and suffer before death will arrive as a sweet release"
Tommy's eyes widened, watching the stage in front of him in disbelief. His hand anxiously tugged at the sleeve of Wilbur's uniform, "Will?" his name came out unsure.
They couldn't do more than watch the scene in front of them play out helplessly, holding their breath anxiously as the male on the stage spoke.
"My first decree as president of this great country, Manburg, is to REVOKE! The citizenship! Of WILBUR SOOT, and TOMMY INNIT!" all eyes seemed to turn to them as Wilbur watched on from beside Tommy in disbelief.
He motivated Tommy to start running, feeling an arrow pierce his shoulder as he took off behind him, away from the nation they created.
They stood in Pogtopia, Wilbur standing in front of Tommy in the brown cloak he had traded for his L'manburg uniform.
"Tommy, when I said you will never be president, you've got to understand, that was never a challenge." Tommy looked confused at the older male, his brother, the one he would lay his life on the line for.
"That's the truth. You're never going to be president Tommy." An almost taunting smile played on his lips as Tommy looked at him, the pure disbelief and hurt evident on his face.
Techno's posture was broad, towering over him with ease as he spoke, voice eerily calm making a shiver shoot up his spine.
"Tommy the thing is, you're using words." Techno spoke, for once the mask didn't cover his face, allowing him to see the way his eyes squinted at him.
"The thing about this world, Tommy, is that the only universal language is violence. And we've had that conversation. We've spoken that language. In the pit." Techno turned away from him, grabbing the mask and positioning it on his head as he moved to the exit of Pogtopia where Wilbur stood waiting.
"It's over Tommy, onto a new day, a new plot, to destroy Manburg." He turned his back to him, and despite his collected composure, Tommy had heard the way his voice rose when he spoke of the pit.
Techno had left him for Wilbur and Dream.
Now he was faced with the one person that had started all of his suffering to begin with. The curtain of lava fell back down behind him as he stepped off the platform and took one last look at Sam.
It didn't take long for the lava to entirely cover the entrance of the cell once more, leaving him alone in the isolated cell with Dream. The one person he despised most on the entire server.
Loud sounds echoed through the walls of the prison, it was almost as if an explosion went off. Furrowing his eyebrows, Tommy turned back to the lava wall, anxiety rising inside him as he called out for the warden.
"Sam? Let me out! Sam what are you doing?"
"SAM LET ME OUT!"

Oh do I LOVE avian Wilbur headcanons. If I can share some of my own:
-He's got wings like a blue jay's! Phil always called him his songbird
-Wilbur could fly with them. He'd fly everyone in the og L'manberg gang around and it made Dream so mad lmao esp since during battles Wilbur would be a real nuisance
-He makes little chirps and trills when he's happy! He also does it when he's stressed too. If he gets stressed out too much he goes completely into chirping which he hates and thinks is embarrassing
-I'm writing a fic about this so I won't spoil but I headcanon that Something happens to Wilbur's wings that results in him losing them sometime around the election arc. Only he and Tommy know what really happened, since he had Tommy be sworn to secrecy
-He still has feathers on his hands and ears, but during Pogtopia he'd pluck them
-When he's revived, he either doesn't get his wings back(which sucks), or he does and they have these cool gold flecks in them. If he does get them back he'd immediately fall when he's revived because of the weight on his back LOL
-The only people he lets preen his feathers are Phil, Techno, Tommy, and Quackity later on. If anyone else touches them without permission he will bite
-one of his favorite snacks is gummy worms mans will go WILD eating them
Hope you like these and don't mind me comin into your inbox to share :D
OF COURSE I DON'T MIND !! THESE ARE ALL SO !!!!! !!!! !!!!!! /POS
PHIL CALLING WIL HIS SONGBIRD... UEUEUE :(
also I love the idea of him being revived with gold flecks in his wings I hope u don't mind me adding that to my art bcs omg it's so cool hwhdhfs I've played around with the idea of him having some white feathers but gold flecks are so !!!
AND I'M 👀 SUPER INTERESTED IN THE SOUND OF THAT FIC TOO
#thank u very very much for the brain food#I'm gonna be thinking abt these a lot. especially the chirping hc :[ I've always been a big fan of hcs of wil making lil sounds like those#vic rambles
