Happy PMD Red is on NSO day. Sadly I don't think King the Skitty and Muse the Cyndaquil will be returning to finish up their adventure regardless.

Anyways, had a try on giving Penny a Team Star outfit very Eeveelutions themed, clearly. Complete with LED masks, yay :D

Yeah, I gave her a car too (her Starmobile is a bit smaller than the others though but the platform she stands on is wider) fitted with rhythm game pads

The moment I saw the clip of Penny shredding the dance floor in the DLC's epilogue, my immediate thought "Yep, this nerd goes to the arcade and plays every single rhythm game available"

I also just find it funny at the thought where in the middle of the Cassiopeia fight she'll just pause the battle and forces the player to play a rhythm game with her lmao (she for sure uses her own theme as the music for rhythm game match)

This is a love letter to the first Mystery Dungeon games, as Red Rescue Team came out on the Nintendo Switch online service for Game Boy Advance last month. I've had a lot of fun replaying this game's Game Boy Advance version, so if you can, I seriously recommend playing it. The remake on the switch of this game isn't bad; it added a lot of stuff for the better (The cute inventory art is something I wish was in the earlier PMD games), But it cannot beat the original games.

This time, I practised making smoother transitions and title cards! The latter took much time to implement (video editing is no joke). I did my best to make the title cards look like the in-game text boxes.

ok so i may have found my favorite side quest in pokemon ranger: shadows of almia and i want to yap about it

so the quest starts off with a man from pueltown asking (more like demanding—) for you to find him a nosepass. in order to do that you have to travel like two full towns over, to the beach, into the marine cave, and all the way back into the cave to get the nosepass. upon doing all of that and then making it back to pueltown to give the man the nosepass, you find out that he does not want the nosepass for himself. he starts making fun of the nosepass and it becomes apparent that he only wanted you to get the nosepass to make fun of it.

(at this point i was pretty annoyed because all that effort had been for nothing lol but wait it gets far better)

after he starts making fun of the nosepass, a team dim sun grunt pops out of whatever corner they’ve been hiding in and starts yelling at the guy for being a jerk and wasting your time, and even makes him apologize to you lmao

i just find it so funny that this man was being such a jerk that the local person who works for a criminal organization you’ve been fighting against for the entire game finds what the npc is doing offensive and is willing to defend you lol

Thinking about Team Plasma so obviously being a cult again.

B/W Ghetsis outfit is that of a mad prophet, heralding the arrival of the promised future King of kings. The man who's mere existence will change everything and you should join them now to watch him defeat the rulers of man (poke League champion) with his divine dragon!

Within the organization Anthea and Concordia are called 'Goddesses' but are still beneath their king. There's 7 wise men/sages who have seen the light and support his highness.

Isn't talking to pokemon kind of a miracle?

Ghetsis saw this miracle child, took him in and build a damn cult around him. Cults like to isolate people so they loose perspective/their support networks and are drawn in deeper. Isn't that in a way what he did to N? Giving him only people loyal to team plasma to talk to and grooming him into their Messiah?

Isn't the promise of N awakening the legendary dragon a prophecy fulfilled? One which only failed at the very last step, with N being defeated by his equal and opposite instead of triumphing once again?
