Weiss - xSTJ, thought that she was ESTJ at first but ISTJ makes a lot of sense too.

I just can't decide between the two fors Ruby because... it kind of goes both way ??? Like Ruby definitely feels as INFP for the first half of the series; she's got a clear Fi > Ne preference... But then when she develops her Tert in V6 it's just... Te ? And she really doesn't show much Si actually she fits more the Si inf vibe in the form of forgetting about bad memories and her mom until people dig it up and she's like "nooo !" ?? So it looks like Te > Si but also Fi > Ne; conclusion idfk

Clear Fi tert rearing its head along with the 1 so I'm going with ISTJ; I also never really saw any Ne. Her type isn't too disagreed upon so tell me if you want a lenghtier explanation.

Wooh this might get the anger of some (i have experience with the INFJ typers) but Blake goddamn REEKS of Fi. Less so recently but for the first seasons oh my god. She straights up catch you by the shirt and tells you "I'm doing the right thing"; and said right thing is so heavily dependant on her own subjectives values, which is why Blake can't reconcile with the current White Fang; because she doesn't have a strong Je vision of "what objectively works in the end", she only sees actions in terms of immediate right and wrong, and this b&w dichotomy stems from herself. What the WF is doing is wrong and the circumstances don't matter for judging the morality of their actions (of course I'm not talking about murder here bc that's pretty wrong ALL THE TIME but for example the stealing occuring in V1 bc of the WF is a better example)

I'm sorry about that but I can't help you on that aspect anon, I still can't make up my mind about whether Yang has Fi or Ti. I have seen arguments for both, and i'm not the best at picking up on Ti so it's hard for me to tell.

Ironically I'm not sure about his type, kind of like you. I've mentionned I'm not very good at picking up on Ti right ? And Ren was a background character before V4 really. I had him written down as ISTP for a while but I've seen some convincing arguments for ISTJ so I might lean toward that actually but who knows. The thing I'm very confident about is his 5 fix = )

Again, not enough screentime for me to make an educated guess. My only certainty is : not high Fi. It's the source of their conflicts. Blake confidence in absolute right & wrong, tracing lines in the sand between acceptable & unacceptable. Whereas Ilia can only shake her head and say "Because it works", or cry out "I don't know what else to do !"

I would personally call him an INFJ. I... never really got INTP vibes from him ? I don't see the Fe inf work out with his interactions : he's always rather at ease, he knows how to navigate around people... His focus inherently lies on doing what's best for the "group", the people, humanity. Fx functions are both concerned with ethics, in different ways, and I think Oz reflects that well. He IS concerned with the moral weight of his actions, but it's a more adaptable and unpersonnal concern than Fi people. He regards Ironwood's soul machines as something wrong, but can still agree to use it if the situations demand it for example. So... if the INFJ + 5 makes sense to you, well that's what I'm typing him personally. I also feel like Ni fits him more than Ne. Ozpin has a very linear way of planning, he does use his fair share of symbolism in every day conversation... Even when taking decisions, he... kind of cares about the meaning of things a lot ? It's hard to explain but like; the way he highlights the difference between an army and a guardian, and the emotionnal response it brings. I don't know it feels like there's some Ni vibes in there x)

Oscar's type honestly isn't the one I would have the easiest time explaining in lenght but yea. It's mostly vibes; also just like Ozpin he doesn't seem to have a particularly Fi reasonning. And he feels more grounded, I don't really remember any Ni so... yay ?

Ironwood • ENFJ 6w5 1w2 3w4 (pre-Vol8); ENTJ (post-Vol8)

Might be weird if you think he was a dictator from the start, but I kind of entertained the idea of Ironwood being Fe dom ? From his very first interaction it was very clear that he was a Je dom to me; he's all about objective results; he doesn't give off the "internal framework" or "personnal values" vibe AT ALL; so it was more a matter of picking Te or Fe. He LOOKS super Te don't get me wrong; but he also has an enneagram tritype that is very common amongst XXTJs (and TJs stereotypes thus derive from it). And just like Oz, his focus at all time seemed to be the greater good and doing what's best for the people still. So I was like... Eh, a "harsh" ENFJ I think that's interesting ? Plus Fe ethics actually derive from their environment, kinda like "everyone agrees that Y is wrong", and if you consider that James is from Atlas... Well his way of thinking and ethics align pretty well with the military.

His character took a turn for the worse in V8 (whether too quick or not depends on who you ask) and past that point he's a clear ENTJ; but I feel like it was more debatable before that. Idk though I might be overthinking this in the hope of making more interesting combinations xD

I don't really see anything else than ISTP for Qrow... But he's not a character I would want to find Ti arguments for either.

I never got Fe vibes from her tbh, I just think she's a 2. And Fe as a function is very infused with 2 stereotypes. So yea. Like, she isn't even that worried about the morality of her actions or anything more than the other villains. She just cares more about her personal relationships and being loved, so she automatically looks much nicer, especially with 2 mechanisms of trying to make herself useful and needed. Also because she's surrounded by 8-ish people xD

The only vibe he gave me is Si somewhere because of all his talks about learning from the past and everything repeats itself and it's a mine of informations at Mountain Glen... That's really the only time I tried to put down anything for him, and it was Si + 5. He could be some kind of xNTP nerd too for sure, but that's more vibe and I couldn't make an actual argument for it.

Lair review for Desmodium

@zephyrnoodles - 10 dragons

First impressions: A lot of different tabs with their own lore snippets is really nice to see! I love to read tab specific lore. I also like that your clan is split between Lightning and Wind and you use the hibden to separate both parts! That’s a usage for the hibden I haven't seen before.

Myekatia is super pretty! I like how her blush capsule matches her eyes. Also the subtleness of her skin just adds an extra layer of depth to her. The Lagoon starsilk looks killer on her and her entire look is emphasized by her scene. She looks like an elegant, but wise mage.

What a handsome dragon! He looks like a galaxy and it’s not just because he has Starmap. I never realized how well opal and Starmap can go together! His genes and colors just collide in the most perfection way and I can’t stop staring at him. His apparel was an excellent choice too. He’s not too naked, but it also doesn’t cover his pretty genes up entirely.

Oh no I’m picking all of your blue dragon it seems. They’re just so pretty! I like Nomurai here for the dark blue of his sapphire python/morph, with the lighter blue of his ringlets. Ringlets is a tert I have a hate love relationship. I don’t think it’s a bad tert, but I do find it hard to use. Nomurai is a great example of how pretty ringlets can be in the right circumstances!

See here I go picking another blue dragon. I promise the next one will NOT be blue. What a perfect dragon to be hatched as a primal and a Lightning primal too! Lightning has one of the best primal eyes types tbh. And the way his accent fits so nicely with his Lightning theme even though it’s from the Crystalline Gala? It’s perfect. he’s perfect.

See? Not a blue dragon this time! Balin is a great purble dragon. He’s wonderful. He may be a Lightning dragon but he looks to be an arcane dragon at heart. He has a gorgeous skin, and is dressed up in the right amount of apparel so he doesn’t look too naked or too bundled up.

I decided that the next five dragon should be from your hibden, to make things even. Here i go picking another blue dragon. She is absolutely lovely. I love how well her cloak matches her, and the grasps give her an extra element of power/mystery that I like.

A non blue dragon! A nice, pretty green dragon. I love their feathers. They look like they would blend in nicely in any forested (or bamboo forested) areas.

Hey wait this isn’t a dragon. How’d a flock of birds get here? I’ve almost bought this skin myself, it’s so cool and I love that you put it on a Light primal! It adds such a cool effect to an already super cool skin. I have to wonder though, is there any lore behind this dragon? Are they just a flock of birds, or maybe a dragon that can turn into a flock of crows? I must know.

I LOVE the usage of this skinscent. She really does look like a void surrounding some Light ruins (or maybe Shadow ruins?). I think it’s really cool that she’s a Shadow dragon and is only wearing stuff from Brightshine.

“We’re all mad here” is one of my favorite Trickmurk skins/accents and it looks so good on Shadow! The added touch or the spiral daze just adds to her overall look. She looks mysterious, yet a little silly and I love her.

NOW FIRST OF ALL I’m putting these two ladies together because 1) pretty, and 2) to explain my... moment. So I’m looking at Peach, who is lovely and has a wonderful outfit made mostly out of things I wouldn’t think of putting together, with such a nice accent to bring some more pastel colors into the mix in an interesting and pleasing way. And then I saw Calliope right next to her looked like she had the same sort of thing going on, right? WRONG. I WAS WRONG. Calliope has OPAL. THAT’S HER GENE. I don’t really know why it caught me so off guard but here we are. It was such a fun little surprise, and ultimately it’s why I couldn’t just pick one of the two of them. Because they compliment each other in their order and also play off each other in their colors/genes/accents. v nice.

Widowmere was who I was originally going to start this with, because they’re wearing an accent I was just recently struggling to dress around and you’ve just done such a perfect job that I’m a little mad. Their colors? Perfect. Their genes? Exquisite. You have such a nice eye for complimenting colors. ;;

I’m really just a sucker for blue and gold. I can’t change it, tbh. But Virgo did that thing you do to me again where I thought he was one thing and it turned out to be another. I really thought he had a firefly tert but it was just the fabulous use of the accent. He’s just... he’s so pretty. I want to lay on the lawn with him and just watch the stars move.

Caz. What. How. How is this man so beautiful. This is illegal. I’m calling the cops. What a spectacular dragon. I really like lapis, but I like it specifically because it’s blue and gold. I never thought lapis python really took advantage of that, so I didn’t like it much. Seeing him, though, I just. The gold from the python is really so subtle that it makes it look like. idk. smoke or something. Just beautiful, very spooky. Looks like he’d tell me the time and date of my death in casual conversation and then just never mention it again.

So about Armillaria then. Wow. It’s really busy, all things considered. A fairly busy outfit, that accent, and its genes are all kind of clashing. But it also looks very organic. It looks like what I feel like looking out across a marsh through the reeds is like, you know? There’s a million little details that you’re never going to notice, and it’s not very neat- but it’s there. You can’t change it. 10/10 would avoid it’s swamp tho. #cursed

Speaking of Busy again we have Wondrous. She’s just. I mean sure at this point I’m spoiled for choice in your lair so eventually I just have to pick at random. But I really really love orange the way that all her circles tie back into that accent. Like the spots on her spinner and the rings from the ringlets it’s just. It’s real good ok. The mane although it makes her more busy is also a uniform enough color that I think it helps bring her together, and also gives her a real sense of movement. I’d die for her.

okay so I have a lot of Colour Opinions so why not jump on the bandwagon

best white: pearl. No? Doesn’t count? Too bad I don’t care

worst white: maize. tell me why this is a colour I hate it so much. Bad.

best grey: they’re all bad, but moon just inches out the others. platinum gets an honourable mention for going pink on cryface, but otherwise just remove this whole range

worst grey: did you read that? All of them. Thistle wins for being the worst of a bad lot, though

best black: obs, for being actually Black. tho tbh this is an excellent range, and both oilslick and eldritch should be commended, and I Will Throw Hands If Anyone Disses Shadow

worst black: midnight, for being really blue sometimes. Stop that you

best purple: all of them. orchid wins for being Ultimate Purple, mist is the best pastel, and eggplant/indigo are the best dark purbles

worst purple: purple, somehow. Violet is also hit or miss, but it does nice stuff sometimes. Twilight is also Bad but it’s kind of a blue too

best blue: cyan. It’s Popping, babey. Robin is also good, and cerulean is v nice

worst blue: uhhhhh all the dark ones. Denim is p nasty, stonewash is awful, and navy is?? Hrn

best green: all of them. honestly, there’s something for everyone in this range. chartreuse, peridot, mantis, thicket, peacock, swamp, hunter, crocodile, pistachio, even spring like?? They’re all nice except for one

worst green: it’s green! It’s bad! Also it’s my custom progen’s tert and it looks bad and I will forever hate it

best yellow: grapefruit. That one is easy. The yellow range is pretty bad tbh

worst yellow: metals. Why. Why would you put GREY in it!!! Why!!!!!!!

best orange: pumpkin or sunset. Also cantaloupe. Yummy. tangerine is really nice too, despite the hate, and fire is one I’ve always been fond of

worst orange: I literally haven’t had to check a colour wheel once until I got to this one, because I really like the oranges. Probably saffron or carrot, but like. The orange range is really good

best brown: umber. Also all of them. The closer they are to umber the better, tho. Clay, sable, tan, sand, chocolate, latte, even brown

worst brown: stone. Also beige is pretty awful tbh.

best red: crimson. Sanguine is also very good. Strawberry is delightful. Most of the red range is forgettable tho, they’re all just Slightly Different Reds.

worst red: red. Tomato is pretty bad. Berry is just.... weird. Brick is??? No. Carmine and cerise have limited use but they go purple so they get a pass

best pink: bubblegum! I love it. Also wine. Can I say pearl again? I’m going to say pearl again. Most of the pinks are godtier tho and I’ll throw hands if you disagree. Cottoncandy, blush, fuchsia and raspberry are all great too, tbh.

worst pink: coral. Also pink, but it’s gotten better with newer genes. Coral will never be good and you can’t change my mind. Also mauve is on thin fucking ice

I saw the post abbout custom progens and I thought I jump onto this train, so here we are:

Name: Euros

I named her after the greek deity of the eastwind after I decided to join the windflight. It seemed fitting lol. I never changed her name, she has always been Euros and will always be.

Breed: Fae

I think it was a close call between Guardian and Fae. I’m not sure what topped the scales towards Fae, but well, here we are. I never changed her breed. I considered it but it just didn’t feel right, so she always stayed the tiny clan founder that she was created as. I knew basically nothing about the game except for the tiny bits of info my friends who introduced me to the game gave me, so I had nothing specific in mind when I created her.

Colors: Aqua, Seafoam, Tangerine

I chose the colors because I’m a sucker for blue, green and teal hues (I didn’t know there would be a third color randomly added). The tertiary color ended up being a bit unforrunate but I made my peace with it a long time ago lol and I never scattered her. I probably wouldn’t choose the very same colors if I had the chance to make another progen, but I wouldn’t choose wildy different colors either. Maybe stayin the same range but with colors that work a bit better together? I dunno. I never really put much thought into this tbh, so yeah, lol.

Genes: Wasp, Bee, Peacock

Euros went through a bunch of gene scrolls before she ended up with with this gene combination. I fell in love with the Bee and Wasp gene the moment I first saw them. Peacock makes her tert gene actually work imho. It’s totally possible that I change her genes again if I find a gene combination I like more than the current one (even tho I’ll have to rewrite her lore then lol). But for now she’ll stay a blue/green glass shard.

Eyetype: Wind Faceted

When the new eyetypes were introduced I wanted her to get the primal eyes so badly. I stopped using scattersight vials when I got faceted because I was kinda scared I would end up using all my vials without getting such a good result again. Also: Faceted eyes fit pretty good with her lore.

Exalted? Not at the moment

Yeah, I did exalt her for a while after we got the option to get our progens back without much fuss. I didn’t see it as exaltation though, but rather as Euros travelling the world and making new friends & experiences. This ties into her lore too so I didn’t feel bad when I exalted her that time.

Role: Healer

She started out as the founder of the clan - and its leader. At some point she gave the role to one of her most trusted friends and left the clan to travel Sornieth as mentioned before. When she came back they offered her the leader job again but she declined and took up the role of the clan’s healer instead.*

Apparel: Paunchy Green Percher, Bone Antlers, River Royalist Tail Rings, Whirlwind Emblem, Mysterious Cowl, Windbound Mask, River Royalist Cuffs, Simple Gold Wing Bangles, Luminous Halo, Aerborne Halo, Kelly Green Locket, Whirlwind Sash

(I’d probably die of pure happiness if I ever get my hands on a windbound plumage for her. The dream, the unreachable goal...)

Her outfit doesn’t really look like a Healer and the skin hides her genes which are kinda important for her lore but uuuh... After all, she is not just a great healer but also a talented wielder of wind magic in combat situations.

I just think she looks awesome this way okay lmao ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lair Review: Denutena, #139281

@denu-rising and here we go! I’m excited for this, I took a quick look at your accents and they are so pretty! I also love the description of your lair you have on your profile, it’s so detailed and it was very easy for me to imagine the dragons living there :) First Impression: SO MANY GEN1 PROJECTS. I see, some of them are almost finished, but there are just so many! I wish you a lot of success at getting the projects together as soon and good as you can. The dragons in the 2nd Clan are also all very pretty, but seem to fall out of your “usual” color scheme a little (but thank god we have lair tabs now!). Over all a very colorful lair and I’m very excited to look at your dragons :D

I’m starting with Ukhai, because his apparel is just really nice. It makes him somewhat mysterious and I wonder what it means for him to be a Golem dragon. I would love to know more about him. Also: Is he going to become a PC or did he start out as one? o: Right now it looks like he would be really good as a blacksmith as well tbh, the colors are really fitting :)

-sighs- She is beauty, she is love. Really, Flora is just so wonderful! The accent and the Bee make her wings look almost translucent and that’s just wonderful. Her name is so fitting, she literally looks like a flower. A pretty flower. A 27m flower. Imagine that! I hope she gets a lot of sunlight so she can continue to grow ;o; Also: I love that she doesn’t have too much apparel, because you can really appreciate her colors and her overall appearance better.

Carnaval is JUST SO VIBRANT. I love vibrant dragons. The Outfit is also nice, because I think butterflies would love flowers like him. Like, I can totally see that. Is he going to be a Spiral one day? That would be so interesting as well! I feel like they always have more of like an expressionist and extroverted appearance.

What does “Don’t keep” mean? You have to keep Sunset. He is so pretty?? And trickster-like? Two things, I really admire about Imps! The cape just matches his wings so well? It’s amazing, I wish I was able to pull stuff like this together :D

And another Imp. Usually I don’t even like male Imps, what is it with me today ;ooo; He looks a little nakey, but the accent is so pretty I wouldn’t want it covered by anything as well. So I can fully understand the decision to not dress him. I love how his tert color is kind of the same color as the accent is (or at least close) - that let’s it seem more natural, I think. Very pretty boy!

BONUS 1: HOW COULD I NOT DO FLUTTER! He is amazing. So cute and funny and the apparel fits him so well. Love his eyes. And a matching familar! Like really, good job! 100/10 would recommend this snapper boy :)

BONUS 2: I love him. Pretty colors, pretty outfit. Radioactive is just SO GOOD. Ugh. And I can totally see him being a dancer! A really good one at that :D He has to teach me how he trained those butterflies, though xD And that’s it! Thank you so much, I had tons of fun looking at your lair! *__*

Lair Review for Raire #24178

(My lair review thread is here. If images don't display, please view this post on a blog rather than on the dashboard.)

Starting off right at the beginning, this is a very nice accent, and I particularly like that you've matched it with the Thresher's Flatfins. I think the pattern on the fins pairs really well with the interplay of sunlight and water shown on the accent. Also, I like the way that the highnoon hat cuts off the upper portion of the flatfins -- nice layering!

Ooh, gold ... pretty! I like how the transparent colors of the accent's wings highlight the colors already present in the shimmer secondary. Very nice choice of a dragon to go with that accent!

OK, three for three here at the start of your lair. I happen to like Spruce quite a lot, but what I really admire here is how well her colors match the celebration sage stuff -- it's as if that set were made for her! You've got the same shades of orange, red, and green in the apparel that you do in the dragon. Also, the slight orange tint to her pearl? Choice.

That's such a pretty, subtle accent and you've found a great dragon for it. There's almost a parchment or tattoo effect that comes from that accent over her secondary. I enjoy how her tertiary matches her secondary and how the accent purple in her primary matches the subtle purples in the accent.

The subtle circuit on his wings is really cool; combined with the accent, he gives me Subnautica or Abzu vibes: ancient ruins deep in the ocean. Also love the color match between his apparel, especially the collar, and his iridescent. And I like how the glowing clawtips mimic the little glowy spots in the accent.

This is a gorgeous skin to start with but I think the Marigold Flower Crown really adds to it. Nice choice!

Beach dragon beach dragon! The Seashell Mantle can be pretty hard to work with -- I've only managed to work it into an outfit once. But this is a great use of it; I love that you found an accent that matches it so well. Nice job on familiar matching, too. Okeanos' genes are really nicely coordinated as well: normally I'm not a big fan of Freckle, but of course it works very well for a beach-themed dragon.

Ooh, more fantastic accent use. I love the way this accent matches his primary and secondary but I especially love the little hints of Sand Hex peeking out at the top of his wings -- it gives this sweet almost aquarium-like look, making me envision the shore near which all these sharks are swimming.

I love the neat, subtle accents on Galaxy and Borealis, too.

Wow, her crackle does an amazing job matching that accent and giving an impression of ice. It looks especially good against her darker primary.

Oooh, bioluminescence! I love your choice of skin here and even though you've only used one apparel item, it's chosen perfectly. Plus, her tert matches the accent color of her primary and secondary, which is always a big plus for me.

I really like this skin, first off, and I also like how the coppery buckles and such on his clothing match his orange eyes.

A gorgeous skin that you've combined with great apparel! Purple and gold is a great, regal color combination, and I especially like how her eyes match her body colors. And, even though bios aren't the focus of this review, I enjoyed her bio as well. She and my Talise would get along well, I suspect.

I like the accent you've chosen for Hubble but what I really like is his lore. It's cool that he's tied into Nebula not only in her role as a seer but as a star-themed dragon, and the notion of Nebula looking at him and instantly knowing he needs a home is very sweet. I just like him TBH; he seems like he would be a nice dragon to know.

Wow, that skin is gorgeous, and it works so well with his primary! Nice choice.

I've never seen Orca Iridescent before and good lord, it's gorgeous. Also, nice lore! I really like the idea of him working very hard for justice and truth in ways that are typically underappreciated. (And having a legal department or law firm among your dragons is a very cool and original idea.)

Ohhhh. What an accent! What a dragon to use for that accent! She's gorgeous! I also love the art in her bio, especially the pixels and chibis.

Another great accent, and I like how you've matched it to the green silks, the Voltaic Stormclaws, and to her existing Circuit. A very nice choice! I also enjoyed how you've described her in her bio. I definitely got a picture of her personality!

I like the way the curve of the accent at the edge of her wing mimics the curve of the seraph gene on at the middle of her wing. And Stonewash Seraph matches her Ice primary and tert beautifully.

I love the muted colors produced by her Stained -- it's a fantastic gene that creates beautiful color combinations. Also, the way you've layered the sylvan stuff to create similar muted colors is absolutely gorgeous.

Ooh, I really like the way his colors go together. I love the green tint to the White Shimmer and also the way it turns brownish at the edge of the wings, matching the Beige and Stone.

Moooore scales! Such a cool accent. And I enjoy the match between the accent color in the Tarnish Poison and the Abyss.

What a cool accent! And a nice choice of dragon to go with it; I especially like the okapi on his tail, which matches the heavy black lines in the accent, and the splash of color across his eyes.

I really like Fragari's lore -- the idea that he was happy with himself but had to come to terms with his perception of others' expectations. That's an important thing for anyone to be able to do, and I liked reading about how he'd realized that he and his desires were enough.

As with Sargasso: rad accent and very nice color matching.

Oh, he looks so good in the Tree Warden's Garb! And I like the effect of the accent on his tail. (Also I just noticed that his tongue matches his tert, which is neat.)

Satellite's colors are just neat. I love the backlit look of his wings.

That combination of Shimmer and Ghost looks very nice. It's also cool to see so much of the Lightning festival apparel together.

What a cool accent, and what a good dragon to put it on. Her primary and tertiary match the corals very nicely, while her dark secondary provides a good backdrop for the accent's focus. Also, that scarf goes excellently with her colors, especially her little pink toenails.

Copper is a really cool color, and the match between it, Robin, and the accent and apparel you've used is great to see. The way the accent layers over the opal on his leg is especially nice. And good job on the matching familiar, too.

Ooooh. Good skin. Nice choice of name for a Fire ambassador, too.

Wow, Tarnish Tapir and Camo Shimmer look really good together. And the layering of the cloaks creates a beautiful color that matches the bluish green on her face and legs excellently.

Oh ... pretty! I can definitely see the name "Universe" for him. That accent goes so nicely with his colors, as does the kelpie mane.

Wow, she works really well with all the Lightning stuff -- very nice colors. Nice matching familiar, too.

Now she looks like she's up to some cool stuff -- I'm getting monster hunter / supernatural detective vibes. I like her name, and another good accent.

Oh, I love that Aqua Thylacine -- it goes beautifully with the Ivory Shimmer! Look at her little green tongue. It's great.

Such good, soft colors -- I love the Platinum Facet and Lavendar Okapi together. And, once again, nice accent.

I like how the sakura flowers match her secondary, and the silks do a nice job of bringing out the little hint of green from her tert.

His outfit looks so simple and clean -- it's nice! I like how the waistcoat and vest layer together.

Ooh, that accent -- you've found the perfect dragon to use it on. Nice job accessorizing it, too.

I love how that accent looks against the blue of his wings. A very sunshiney, stained-glass vibe ... It reminds me of the art in Tangled, actually.

Beeeees! A very fun accent and a nice choice of dragon to go with it. I especially like how the Sunshine Facet matches the drips of honey on his body.

Ooh, her colors are so nice! I thought she had stained for a second because that's usually the case when I see nice muted colors like that, but nope. Love the Silver Shimmer and Slate Iridescent together.

All the eerie cyan stuff is so pretty on her. At first I thought she was wearing another great accent, actually, with the pendants and stuff. Once again, a great layering job with the two grasps -- I love how you've created a shade of blue-green that matches her very well. Also, some really intriguing lore there. Thank you for showing me your lair; I quite enjoyed it!

I don't know if you're comfortable typing real people but if you are, could you type the guys from Queer Eye?

I’m fine typing real people so I’ll just add the general caveat that these are real people and they know they’re being filmed and their TV personas may not match those of their personal life, etc, etc

Bobby is an STJ; not sure if he’s an ESTJ or ISTJ. You can tell because he a. goes off and just does work the whole time usually, and b. he tends to have a pretty fixed traditional aesthetic. Also in interviews he often has very specific anecdotes and the one that solidified it was the one in which he got fired for standing up for his employees at the Restoration Hardware when the original design guy for QE in the early 2000s stopped by.

Tan is I think an ISTP. He’s fairly open with his opinions and doesn’t sugar coat them, he’s obviously very into The Aesthetic, and he’s quite private and snarky. Also I think he might be trolling us all with the French tuck, which, quelle ISTP.

Jonathan is an ESFP who everyone is going to mistype as an ENFP but the fact is he was a cheerleader and he works in an aesthetic field. He’s very friendly, also reasonably blunt but better able to read people than Tan; highly energetic; and if you read that NYMAG article about the baker who wouldn’t bake for gay people you can see some Te bitchslapping.

Antoni gives off INFP vibes to me; he’s not always great at relating to people without a direct personal comparison; I feel like plating food in a fancy way is an intuitive thing of misplaced aesthetic though that might be my projection as a deeply un-fancy person who just wants the goddamn food; I also feel like he goes with like...what seems good as an idea, but maybe isn’t the most practical (though again I bet there’s probably TV exec/producer influence there). Also there’s a Buzzfeed video of him making this cool stuffed rice Italian dish that actually requires skill, like he can cook, so this isn’t a drag on him.

Karamo is clearly our high Fe user of the group and I think he’s an ESFJ if only because I don’t see any clear signs of intuition - he tends to be pretty pragmatic and the weirder projects he does just give me this sense of tert Ne rather than high Ni. Also I feel like an Ni user would not have responded the same way to that kid who was like “I like looking at lasers” and I love him for it (Karamo) (also kind of that weird music child tbh)

This is a day late ‘cause I’ve been busy as all hell but a lair review for @putri ! Under the cut, of course

I always start with the first dragon in the lair and damn! Is this dude gorgeous! I love the subtle stain a lot, it gives the colors such a unique feel- just a tad warmer than they would be without it, and it really works! I also love how you highlighted his uncommon eyes (very nice btw) with all of the blue accent apparel-- and the layering on those cobwebs is divine! I also really love Aubade’s bio- it’s short and sweet, and the recolors in it are so perf! I love this boy dang!

I had to go check out Jihoon next of course, cause dang I love me some good gay dragons. I love all the gods you’ve got going on here- having minor dieties is so fun! I’ve got some in my clan as well ahh. Aesthetically you’ve got another super unique look here-- your lair is really unique? All the dragons in it are gorgeous in this way I don’t feel like I see a lot and it’s great! The copper with a little bit of brown apparel, the accent complimenting the wings and silks, the blues of copper being played up in the claw tips, mixing silks and the touch of pastel roses... this is the whole package and I love all of it! I especially love the layering of the veil over the daredevil cover, that’s a look tm. a gorgeous boy!

Anteros caught my eye next! The basic/Basic/Stained look is so simple but? it looks so damn good on them? I totally thought they were a double at first, I didn’t realize hthey were stained at all (some fake purple fan I am) but I love having them be a god of love and decking them out in roses and a dove as well as the crown... they definetly gives off a godly aura, but a sort of “loverboy” vibe, too, and it works really well! You once again prove to be a master of mixing apparel sets, and I love the different seraph jewlery together a ton, plus the smaller pieces of the night sky silks. It’s jsut enough to give them that spacey touch without over powering them! I also really love the dark purple wing border in their bio- that’s such a nice touch :0

Ohhh I love her!! Hyeonjeong is so gorgeous and dang that accent is so perfect for her, since she’s the god of blood and all. I especially love the antlers-- they’re sort of a nonsequiter piece of aparel for this look, but it’s really looking for her. I especially love the playing up the purple tones in blood poison, and surprisingly... smirdge? I normally don’t like smirdge but it’s perfectly subtle on her and I love it. I also love the golden aparel on her, it adds even more to this regal, detached aura she’s got goin on. she’s perfect I’d lay down my life for her.

Since they’re so new I can’t help but notice the fancy eyes, and I’m seeing them all over! Though to be fair, Carnus couldn’t have anything other than plague rare- they were made specifically for him! The green and red tones match him so nicely... And you’re back at it again here with the amazing gen 1s, gorgeous apparel, and fantastic lore. tbh, this is the sort of lair I wish i had :,0 I especially love the faries-- it seems like they’re whispering secrets of the future to this god of seers. Also-- this is a bit rancom, but I really love the flowerfall cohesion you’ve got going on. So many dragons have flower falls and it works so well for a pantheon like your lair!

Ahh I’m so drawn to purble... I love how much basic you have in your lair btw-- I don’t see people appreciate basic enough, but you’ve got such gorgeous, complicated outfits that the basic really lets them shine! And Lyon is no exception-- the gold is so regal and gorgeous, and if you ever decide to give her a tert it’ll tie in even better! I also really love that she’s an evil god of song? I know that’s a bit random, but it’s just so unique and interesting, it makes me wonder what it is about her that’s so evil.... either way, I love her

OKAY i’ve been holding off but I can’t... resist permababs. Chuu is so cute omg... I really love the little distinction of having different gods that represent different kinds of love, that’s really cool! And I love how Chuu discovered her specific god power because she had a little crush on another member of the pantheon... that’s a really cute story, and not the kind I feel like I see a lot! I also really lvoe the unusual eyes on her, they work so well. Man I love permababs, and I love Chuu

Summer, summer, summerrrrrr~ I love just how summery this guy is, and the first thing that stood out to me on him is the accent match, damn! it blends so nicely with the butterfly accent colors, and it’s a damn good list. His lightning eyes are so shocking (hehe) though I be he’d look fantastic with rare eyes, especially :0 More silks, more flower falls, more good looks! You’re really rocking the light aesthetic here, but in a way that works so well and is so unique! layering the flower crown with the veil is A+ and adding in those lil leg roses is even better- plus I love his bracelets, they match the bright orange so well! Your lair is just so aesthetic.

Yeongdeung is so pretty ahhhh. Your lair is like the opposite of mine-- tons of male posed dragons, while I have lots of female posed ones :p She’s such a pretty gal though, she’d stick out no matter what. Another fantastic stain-- that fade to healther on her legs and around her tail and face is so good looking, damn. Her outfit is simpler than a lot but she’s still super rocking it-- I reallly adore how cohesive your aesthetic is across lots of different pallets! I also really love that peacock recolor in her bio- I just think its really neat

Hooo pastels.... They’re so gorgeous damn. Those pastels with the tert that just pops right off the body is just perfect. I really love the flowers for this flower god, and just how perfectly their runes match their eyes. that silk layering is A+++ and I especially love the wreath on their head, which I don’t feel like I see enough! I also super love how he takes care of the godly gardens! Also, I’ve jsut seen this all over, but the matching wing borders for every dragons are such a nice touch,,,, damn its fantastic.

@goannafr had an idea for a custom progen dragon share, so here is mine!

This is Tarragon!! Picking out his name wasn’t easy, it was hard to think of something that felt fitting. I’m not 100% sure why I chose the name Tarragon tbh, I guess i just liked it. it’s the dragon herb :D

For his colors, I ultimately went with White/Jade because I thought it was a pretty and simple look! White felt fitting for a cold-weather species, and jade green is one of my fave colors. But I spent sooo long deciding colors. Over an hour probably dfadg Some other combos I considered were some sort of Pink/Yellow, and Swamp/Brown. there’s a universe where i started with a swampy boi haha… And Tarragon ended up with an orange tert which was a surprise to me. i didn’t know terts were a thing so i had not accounted for it haha. i think i lucked out though!

I decided on a tundra pretty quickly. After reading about each of the four breeds, I just liked how warm and friendly they seemed! And they’re adorable fluffy!!! And I loved the sitting pose. tbh i somehow completely forgot about choosing gender so he ended up as male by default but that is fine. I did consider fae too but honestly the tundra lore just won me over too much to choose any of the others. I wanted a happy friendly dragon! As a dragon fan I had vague knowledge of FR before joining and once even drew a couple dragons for the friend who’d later got me to join, but I didn’t have anything in mind for my lair before I joined. I was disappointed I only got to choose between the four breeds though since I knew there were many others haha. I mightve ended up picking a Snapper if that was an option. I didn’t know about breed changes haha.

Tarragon still looks mostly the same as when I got him! Sadly I never saved his official art before this year so i can’t compare. i do have that akiri art tho tbh im still kinda bummed they changed the eyecolors since the pre-2018 wind common eyecolor for tundras definitely looked nicer on him but aw well its not much of a difference. I never want to breed change him because he is perfect as a tundra! I gave him IriShim so he could be fancy without looking drastically different hahah…. any gene plan i scried felt Wrong to me. Glimmer gave him some nice orange horns though!! He’d probably still be ungened if it weren’t for a super generous friend c:

I could never even think about exalting him. he is way too important to me haha. my lair would not be my lair without him!

As for role, Tarragon is a leader of my clan! Originally he was the sole leader but I decided it made more sense to share the responsibility with other important early dragons in my lair. However, I still think the starting the clan was his idea and in that way he would be the first official member! He, his wife Moraine, and their friends Zaffre and Tamarind founded the Florabrisa clan together so they could have a peaceful place for Tarragon’s gardens (which also served as Tamarind’s charge), to raise their planned children, and to just in general have an environment dragons could come to without worries of the world or fear of rejection. I don’t necessarily have all the logistics worked out, but Tarragon is pretty charismatic and just exudes good vibes, so he and the others probably were able to work out alliances with nearby clans for protection and trading and stuff to get them on their feet?

Tarragon is very friendly and loves and wants the best for everyone. He really believes in the good in everyone and does his best to maintain harmony for dragons in the clan (even if it has to result in edicts like Do Not Bother Falcata Between the Hours of 3PM and 10 PM) Though he’s pretty easygoing and doesn’t really enforce rules much himself. As long as the community is happy, he is happy c: There probably have been a few cases where a dragon has been deemed too dangerous for the clan and had to be kicked out, and these times distressed Tarragon a ton as he is very forgiving and all too willing to give second chances, but he can understand when something really is best for the clan (and of course the other leaders are not as forgiving as Tarragon, so when it’s 3 against 1 anyway, there’s not much he can do.)

Despite this rather big role, he still would probably describe himself as just a gardener, since flowers are his favorite thing in the world and he spends a lot of his time taking care of his plants and tries to grow plants in as many places as he can. He loves to just exist in nature and tends to meditate by surrounding himself with plant-life.

He’s also very anti-violence and doesn’t like the idea of hurting anything, including bugs, inanimate objects, and especially plants. Do not harm his flowers :C An important rule he set in the lair is Do Not Eat Flowers. But most plant eating dragons in the lair agree that’s a bit excessive so most treat the rule as Do Not Eat Flowers When Tarragon is Nearby. The only punishment for breaking this rule is seeing Tarragon cry, which is definitely punishment enough. There are absolutely secret gatherings for eating flowers under Tarragon’s nose. Tarragon in general tries to see and appreciate the beauty in everything, but he is a bit squeamish and is afraid of spiders which he feels terrible about since spiders are just trying to live their best life too!

If I could remake my custom progen… Actually early on before I learned multi-accounting was against the rules, I considered making a second lair so i could have a Kyurem-colored progen with light eyes haha… I instead decided to just search the AH for one. But let’s see if I did make a new lair with all my current knowledge of the game, I’m not sure that I would end up with Tarragon. While I do still love them, I am a bit tired of my plethora of white primary dragons. Plus this time I would be aware of breed-changing so I’d have that in mind… I’m caught between wanting to go with an icy lair or swampy lair tbh, a swampy bogsneak progen would be fun. I’d probably end up making a swampy progen in an ice lair hahah…it’d be a taiga I suppose? best of both worlds.

that said, I could never change Tarragon. I love him and he’s so important to me aaa. my own child.
