possible good contenders for Theadora Muldani’s favorite sandwich:
good ol pb & j. She was raised on Smuckers and white bread, but she’s come to appreciate a well-crusted wheat loaf and an organic raspberry preserve, by her thirties. (But she still makes Amalia’s lunch with Smuckers).
breakfast sandwich, ON an English muffin and WITH cheese, thank you very much. Jean used to insist upon calling them “croque-madames.” Thea used to insist upon shoving his own breakfast in his face whenever he said it
turkey and lettuce. There’s usually other stuff in there too, but the important parts are the turkey and the lettuce. Protein and Crunch. Salt and Crisp. She will not compromise on this do whatever fancy shit you want with tomatoes or arugula or sprouts or whatever but gotta have that turkey and that lettuce

ladies of all for the game
THEADORA MULDANI
“Her stony expression was the same look she favored cameras with when she caught them watching her. A short dress did nothing to hide long, thick legs and chiseled arms. She looked like she could hold her own against Matt in a fight. Neil bet she was absolute hell on the court, an unmoving tank unimpressed by strikers stupid enough to oppose her.”

hi, can we talk about thea, and how her and kevin (along with neil and andrew) were a couple playing together on the national team. and maybe by extension of the topic, how kevin's type is just people who could knock him around the court a little
Yes, yes we can! Okay, Thea is brutal on the court, even during practice. That’s the sort of thing she learned from her days with the Ravens - you never pull your punches. She’s not going to let anything like friendship or the fact that she has to work with these people every day stop her from shoving any of them into the court wall during a scrimmage just as hard as she would do to another player in a real game. Maybe it gets her in trouble with her coach a couple times, but that’s not going to stop her, either - this isn’t Tetsuji, after all, and by playing her hardest, she’s actually preparing them better.
So, anyways, when Kevin joins the national team, their teammates already know that Kevin and Thea are a thing. They figure that Thea’s going to go easier on him during practice. Sure, she’s always been tough on him when their professional teams play against each other, but now they’re on the same team, so she’ll let up a little, they think. Oh, are they wrong.
The first time Thea and Kevin are on opposing sides in a scrimmage, she shoves him into the court wall so hard that it knocks the wind out of him. The coach calls off play and entire team pauses for a second to stare at them so Kevin can catch his breath. They’re kind of expecting some kind of fight, or at least for Kevin to throw a big dramatic fit, because they’re figured out by now that he’s nothing like he seems in a press conference.
But he gets up, and he’s grinning so widely. He nods at her like she’s just done something wonderful, and he says, “Well, look who finally learned how to do a decent body check.”
The team is definitely expecting a murder at this point, but Thea just glares at him and says, “A little slow on the recovery, Day." Then she turns away and looks at the rest of the team. "What are you all staring at? Practice isn’t going to finish itself.”
(By the time Neil and Andrew join, the team is used to this aggressive and Exy-obsessed relationship between Kevin and Thea. They think they’re going to be prepared for Neil and Andrew, because they’ve seen enough in the media that they know Neil is as obsessed with Exy as Kevin is, and Andrew is possibly the most violent professional Exy player they’ve ever heard of, and that’s off the court. How different could it really be? Of course, that’s just a completely different dynamic, but the team will get used to it. They’ll have to.)
Also, yes, Kevin’s type is 100% people who can beat him up and challenge him on the court! Those are basically the only people who are interesting enough for him to talk to them. Part of that is probably that terrible codependence thing he had with Riko, plus the fact that he grew up learning that a person’s worth was directly tied to their proficiency at Exy. But, anyways, Kevin falls a little more in love with Thea every time she thwarts one of his goals, and that is beautiful.
Bonus: I know you didn’t bring it up, but I’m thinking about this now - Thea absolutely does not leave her Exy career just so that she and Kevin can start a family. She loves Exy almost as much as he does, and it’s her career. It wouldn’t be fair to expect her to give that up. So, yeah, I can see three possibilities for their daughter Amalia / if you don’t want to adhere to the extra content, any hypothetical children they might have:
Thea gets pregnant by accident, has the baby, and goes back to playing as soon as she can. I don’t know how the logistics of that work out, but it’s probably possible.
She has to retire from Exy due to some injury, which is sad, but at least she played as long as she could. She doesn’t have to have that what if?
They adopt. Probably not too young a child, because nobody wants to take off time from Exy, and they probably don’t want those sleepless nights, either. They hire a nanny so that they can both be at practice or games. There’s some backlash at Thea from the media over that (because god forbid a woman actually have a career and a family), and for once, the press gets a look at who Kevin can really be. He basically curses them all out and says that Thea is as good of a mother as she is an Exy player, and she’s a damn good Exy player. It is a sensation on the internet. All of the Foxes have a copy of that interview on their computer or on a DVD somewhere.
