what do you think about the idea of The Stanley Parable being a time loop, with (at the least) stanley remembering everything after each ending?

THATS LIKE ONE OF MY FAVORITE INTERPRETATIONS ACTUALLY!!! I love to think like that.

He's not waking up wide-eyed and confused not knowing where he is, he knows what he's just gone through. I feel like if he didn't remember anything then he wouldn't be able to find anything new, wouldn't be able to diverge onto different pathways.

Plus, if he couldn't remember, I think he'd make the same choices every time, and that wouldn't be very interesting, would it? :0

I can tell these guys never participate in a boycott ib their goddammit life. All they do is basically sit on their computers or phones and make comments for engagement. Then have the nerve to tell us we are making a big deal when these are the guys who are lurking in OUR COMMENTS AND POSTS

No because agreed, like they are actually dumb, and just hearing what they wanna hear so they have an excuse to be mad.

For anyone unaware- you NEED to keep playing genshin and other hyv games to effectively boycott the company. Not spending money, while burning up server usage will absolutely burn a hole in hyv’s pocket because server costs are EXPENSIVE AS SHIT.

Do not spend money on any hyv game, keep playing though!!

People on Twitter are genuinely so annoying, that’s why I don’t post on it, but just use it for a lot of info on the boycott and whatnot because like… I do not wanna deal with stupid people and racists :P

i want to show y’all my oc i made today :D

her name is Octavia, and she was one of strips old racing friends! they had a friendship like cal and lightning

she stared racing in 1967 at 17yr and died in 1996 at 46yr with 4 piston cups

she raced for a cigarette company that went out of business in 2000

octavia had a couple nicknames on the track as well, such as:

-“The Kings Executor” bc if you had a problem with strip then you probably had a problem with her, and she dose not let things slide (this lead to her and chick fighting, a LOT)

-“She-Devil” she was a VERY reckless driver and she still holds the record of most fights on track in piston cup history

how strip, the nicest rookie the the track became best friends with a gremlin like octavia, no one knows 🤷‍♀️

my poor boy roger was pulling them out of so much shit, it was unbelievable 😭

i’m also working on another oc named sam thats also in their little group of racers so stay tuned for that 😛

also care to fathom a theory that the narrator is actually stanley himself? though in a way where he narrates to the player, controlling him, instead of himself.

Ohhh!! That is an interesting one!

One of the endings in canon- the apartment ending- toys with this interpretation a little, stating that The Stanley Parable is Stanley's made-up story. But that's Stanley making up the Narrator, so I suppose that isn't what this theory is about :0

I feel like we wouldn't be playing as Stanley if Stanley himself was the one telling us what to do- and the Narrator is his own separate character!

There is a lot of canonical stuff in game to prove that the Narrator is not Stanley- my biggest thought is the Skip Button Ending in Ultra Deluxe- the Narrator is left behind while the player (and by extension Stanley) skip ahead in time, and there's a few skips where we come back and find him in the middle of saying stuff!

Plus, there's little things too- the rustling of papers, the ability for random doors to open for you to enter them, etc!

So yeah :] Neat theory, but honestly I probably wouldn't follow it!
