and brainrot. I've been sketching these ideas out for like, a year. And done nothing with them until this point

Before moving forward, I'm gonna rant about outfits

this is the outfit that I base Sun and Moon's wedding look on because I just think it fits so well. I share this so you guys see the vision and forgive my inexperience with drawing these folds

Also, I went through several variations of what Y/n would wear before settling on this bc nothing that came up when I searched "gender neutral wedding gear" really fit

Wanted a mix between gown and suit and y'know this ended up being more suit but I like it a lot so we're going with that. It also came to me in a vision so that has to say something.

(Ok but I did envision Y/n having a dress similar to this one character's dress in Bad Guys but I couldn't draw it so I scrapped it)

Sumarry: Santino got hurt, has a bullet wound, and John, as his husband, is doing everything for him. Helping him with the wound, taking care of him, making him dinner, and breakfast in bed. Being the best husband. And Dog is there for Santino, too.

Note: I had to write something and post it, I HAD TO I can't take it anymore! I finally finished this (it's the WIP whenever), and there is NO smut for the first time!! This is actually wholesome, not horny :]. And Dog is there, too. Loving husbands Santino and John and I will write more about them being married. Oh and I made a little list of fics I want to write a while ago and this was there "Married John and Santino" but I can't find that post rn but it's here somewhere lol. I decided to post this here and on ao3. I hope yall will enjoy this! <3

The last few weeks have been extremely exhausting for both of them. Santino had a meeting after meeting, in different cities and even had to fly back to Italy for few days. While they were just meetings and business talk, there were few times when a squad was sent to kill them.

So, John had to take over. He succeeded in protecting Santino every time. Until this one time when Santino actually got hit, however it was just a flesh wound on his left arm, the bullet brushed off, luckily it wasn't anything serious.

But the wound cleaning still hurt.

"Take it easy... I told you to focus on breathing, okay?" John said as he cleaned the small bullet wound on Santino's arm. Santino was pale, unconsciously breathing a bit heavier from the pain and exhaustion. "I am. It's not like I got shot at." Santino huffed, glancing from his wound to John. "You're pale." John noticed, analyzing Santino's expressions. He can read his body language easily, Santino can't fool him.

"I'm tired and it hurts. Of course I'm gonna be pale." Santino rolled his eyes in annoyance. John thought it was cute. When Santino gets needy and bitchy with him, he doesn't mind it. He really tries to comfort him when he's like this, and his success in that depends on Santino's mood.

John hummed in a soft tone and pressed a kiss on his forhead. "I'm sorry it hurts." He murmured. Santino sighed, not in his usually annoyed way, but in a tired way this time. It breaks John's heart to see him like this, every time he's like this John tries to make him feel better by doing whatever Santino wants.

Not only Santino was exhausted from everything, he got a high temperature. A result of all this. John knew that could happen, he experienced it himself many times. He takes some painkillers and he's good for few hours. Now he has to see if that will work for Santino.

He just finished with wrapping a bandage over the wound when he felt Santino's forhead. "You got a fever, too." John pointed out. "Do you want me to bring you pills-" as John was about to offer some more, Santino cut him off. "I don't need anything. It'll pass just like always." He winced as he stood up so sudden, his arm still ached.

"Santino. I promised to take care of you. I vowed it. Remember?" Of course at their wedding they both vowed to protect and take care of each other till death tears them apart. It's such a beautiful memory. Of their wedding.

Santino's expression seemed to soften, he's aware that John just wants best for him and he is kinda, still, pushing that help away. He's not used to someone caring for him in that way, to be loved like this.

He's still learning. Trying to allow himself to be finally loved.

"Of course I remember." Santino murmured, "I remember it very well." He didn't look at him, too embarrassed because of his moody behavior. "Then let me take care of you." John said, getting in front of him and gently holding his shoulders.

Santino can't reject his husband. He's just too sweet and caring.

"Fine." Santino sighed, looking down before John gently pulled his chin up so they look at each other. "That's what I wanted to hear." John kissed his forhead, but he got quickly nudged down by his tie so Santino can kiss him.

"And I'd like a painkiller." Santino murmured. "Of course, darling." John smiled.

He loves this about John. His loyalty. It's beautiful. How are people even capable of being this loyal?

Assassin and a Crime lord. Bogeyman and Camorra prince.

Santino's gonna need something more than just one painkiller since he's not used to this. His body isn't. It's not even a big wound but it still hurt and felt uncomfortable.

John offered another pill that can help get the fever down, but he knows that won't be enough. It's been already twenty minutes since he finished treating Santino's arm and he's not looking like he got any better.

"Are the pills gonna start working soon or?" Santino asked as he leaned against the recliner and sighed heavily. "They will, just give it some more time. Do you need anything else? Hungry or do you need more water?" John asked, gently rubbing Santino's thigh in a comforting way.

"No..." Santino replied, closing his eyes. "You have to eat, though. Surely, there has to be something you'd like to eat now?" If he wants to regain some of his strength, he's gonna have to eat something. As far as John remembers, Santino only had coffee in the morning. That's it.

"I feel nauseous... I'll just shower and try to fall asleep." Santino was about to stand up when Dog trotted to him and wagged his tail as he whined at him. Santino smiled tiredly at him and patted his head, Dog leaned his head against his palm even more, looking right at him in a sympathizing way.

"Well... I think even Dog agrees that you should eat. You only had coffee in the morning, I don't understand how you can go through the whole day on just that. That's not good for you, for your health."

They had this talk before, "You can't live on one cup of coffee." The talk.

And he can't. Santino is aware of that. But, it's like he's refusing to help himself. So, John tries to do that for him. Try to let him know that he has to help himself and that it's okay to ask for help. Ask his husband for help.

"John, please, I just want to rest already-" However, John had to cut him off there. "I forgot to mention that I can smell cigarettes on you. As much as you try to cover it with mint or extra cologne, it's still there, the smell of smoke." Ah, so John caught him after all.

Stress awakens some unhealthy cravings in Santino. Smoking and drinking an extra glass of wine or whatever they have. However, smoking is the overpowering craving. Even before their marriage, Santino admitted that he wants to stop. And it was the first time he asked John for help.

The progress they made with that was pretty good. Yes, he was restless and in a horrible mood all the time because he needed it, but with John's help he managed to get that craving under control. John also praised him every time, "Good job. I'm proud of you." Followed by a kiss on his lips, cheek or forhead.

And now... that progress went backwards.

"I..." Santino started but couldn't find the words so quickly. He couldn't look at John. Couldn't look at his puppy eyes, his empathic eyes. He was too ashamed.

"I just had few. I needed to calm down after all those stupid meetings and calls with those old fuckers who think they can control everything when they want to..." just as Santino was talking about this, he himself probably didn't notice that his voice was getting more and more shaky and that he was slightly trembling.

"Hey, hey, darling... it's okay, don't upset yourself- I'm sorry I brought it up." John cupped his face, making Santino, finally, look at him. He could see how Santino's eyes were watery and it hurts him every time he sees tears in his eyes. Santino doesn't have to cry, doesn't have to let his tears fall, but he can have that exhausted, sad, fighting back tears look.

Santino took a deep breath in and exhaled heavily, placing his one hand on top of John's. "You don't have to apologize, mio caro. I'm sorry. All the progress we made... I ruined it all." Santino was keeping eye contact with him, meaning he really trusts him. To see him this vulnerable.

"I just wanted to feel better- ah..." Santino wanted to reach out for him with his wounded arm but because of a sudden movement, it hurt him and he winced. "I know, darling, I know." John murmured softly, pulling him into a gentle hug, avoiding his hurt arm and letting Santino cling onto his shirt.

"Take it easy. Our progress isn't ruined. You still want to stop, right?" John asked softly against his ear. Santino nodded slowly against his shoulder, "Yes. I want to stop." Santino whispered. "Good. I'm proud of you. Thank you for telling me." He went over Santino's hair with his fingers. That's something that Santino adores.

It feels so good to him, it relaxes him.

Santino pulled back enough to kiss him, as in saying "Thank you."

Dog jumped on the couch next to Santino, lied down and rested his head on his thigh. "Oh, bello..." Santino chuckled softly at him, patting his head and seeing how Dog wagged his tail. "Sei così carino, proprio come il tuo papà (you're so cute, just like your daddy)."

John had to chuckle at that, Santino often talks to Dog like that. Calling John and sometimes himself, "dad" or "daddy".

To be fair, this is literally Dog's family. Santino and John.

John pressed a kiss on Santino's head, making him laugh a little. It's a beautiful noise to John. To hear Santino laugh. He wants to make him happy.

"So... will you eat something for me and Dog? I can make whatever you want." John asked that again, caressing Santino's head, going over his fluffy hair.

Santino hummed softly before answering, "I can't say no to you two." Finally. He wants to help himself. That earned him two more kisses on his cheek.

Santino remembered how John makes perfect waffles. It's like John's specialty. "Can you make few waffles?" Santino asked, and he sounded so shy and innocent. "Of course I can. Anything for you, darling." John said.

It was getting a bit late, but no matter how late it gets, John will make those waffles for him.

While he was making them, he glanced at Santino and Dog, seeing g how Santino was patting, snuggling and murmuring something in Italian to Dog. It was cute to see them like that.

"Here you go, love." John said as he placed the plate with freshly warm waffles. "Thank you." Ah, they smell amazing and it was then when Santino realized that he's actually hungry. Of course, Dog started whining, begging just like always whenever they're eating. And it's John's fault he got used to it since he always secretly gives him a little piece of anything he's eating that's not sweet.

Santino's arm hurt each time he moved it, nerve and muscle damage most likely, and John offered to cut the waffles for him. It was a bit silly to Santino but he accepted his help. Watching TV and keeping Dog next to himself as Santino was finishing, he would glance from time to time at Santino and smile.

"You got a little bit of syrup on your face." John said. "Huh, where?" Santino asked, already trying to wipe it off with his thumb. "Let me." John leaned to kiss off the syrup that was on the edge of his mouth. "Here and..." another kiss but on lips, tasting the sweet maple syrup. "Here."

Santino could feel himself blushing, that was absolutely hot and cute at the same time. "Fuck..." Santino breathed out, looking down as he tried not to make it obvious how he was blushing. "You taste sweet like this." John winked playfully. "You're the reason I like maple syrup..." Santino said shyly. "I know." John said proudly. When John first time made pancakes with maple syrup, Santino was positivity suprised how good they tasted.

"I wanna shower now." Santino said as John went to put the plate into the sink. "Alright. Do you need help?" John asked.

"I, um... no, I think I'll be fine." Santino replied, sitting up and feeling his shoulder from his wounded arm. "Okay. If you need anything, I'll be in our bedroom."

And so John waited in the bedroom while Santino showered. Or tried to shower. The water getting over his wound was making it burn and since he still had a high fever, the water felt cold. "Cazzo." he would groan from time to time and what freaked him out was a little bit of blood mixed with water dripping down his arm.

"John. I think I need some help." He called out and just like a dog called to heel, John rushed to the bathroom. "Yes, darling?"

"It burns when the water gets on it..." Santino said, looking at his wound. "Alright, let me help you." John knows how to do this. "Shower with me, so you don't have to later." Santino smirked a little, whenever he gets a chance to flirt even just a little bit, he takes his chance. "Do you really need my help or you just want to see me naked?" John chuckled, already taking off his shirt. "Both." Santino replied, glancing him, his body. They both worship each other.

John was avoiding the wound as he carefully poured water over Santino's shoulders. Trying his best to not get much water on it. He's gonna have to disinfect the wound again, anyway. "Thank you, bello." Santino told him after few minutes. "Always, darling." John could feel how Santino's body was warm, hear him how he whimpered from time to time because his whole body was aching.

He's gonna give him a massage tomorrow, his body needs rest now.

After the shower, John helped him dry around the wound area, "I have to clean the wound again. Just a little, okay?" John said softly, watching how his husband tensed at that. "Okay."

Santino was patient, mostly because he's really tired and was ready to pass out in the bed. "Good job. You're handling this better and better." John praised him as he wrapped a new bandage over it. "Yeah. I'm just tired." John could tell just by his voice how exhausted he must be. "Alright. You need lots of rest." John said and pressed a soft kiss on his neck.

It took some time for Santino to fall asleep because he couldn't get comfortable. He would usually sleep on his left side so he faces John and now he couldn't. Dog also joined them, sleeping by their feet, mostly now on Santino's side as if he could feel that Santino wasn't doing the best.

John caressed Santino's waist, his hips as he tried to relaxe him as much as possible. And it worked. Santino finally fell asleep and John could relax now, too.

However, during night Santino would often sigh or whimper whenever he tried to move in his sleep. John would make soothing noises each time and kiss his head, "Shhh, you're okay, love." And it seemed to calm him down.

It was a little bit of a restless night, but when they have each other, everything seems easier.

John was the first one to wake up, just like always, but he was just chilling next to him, browsing on his phone as he waited for Santino to wake up.

An hour passed and Santino sighed as he switched to lie on his back. "Good morning, darling." John greeted with a kiss. "Morning." Santino replied tiredly, caressing John face and wanting more kisses.

"How are you feeling?" John asked. "Still tired. I think I don't have a fever anymore." He was right, when John felt his forhead, he wasn't warm like yesterday. "Yeah, it's gone. One problem less." He chuckled and held his hand in comfort. "You can still rest if you want to, honey." John offered. "No... I have to get up, I have a lot to do." Santino said and started to get up but John had other plans.

"No, I'll do everything you need. You still need rest." There was no point to argue because John wouldn't give up and it feels nice to not sit by the table and make calls and do contracts all day. "If you insist." Santino smiled tiredly. "I do." John replied.

Santino pulled him into a long kiss, cupping his face. He really needs rest and he has John who can help him with that.

"I love you." Santino said softly, gently stroking John's face and looking into his eyes. "I love you, too." John kissed him again, both humming softly into the kiss.

"Coffee like usual?" John asked after the kiss. "Yes, please." Santino smiled. Coffee is a must in the morning. "Any wishes for breakfast?" John asked. "Pancakes. But Europe ones." European style pancakes are his favorite for breakfast. "Of course."

John actually likes to serve him. So, this isn't a problem for him. Any chance he gets to do anything for him, he's doing it.

And now it was Dog and Santino again. Santino smiled and patted a spot next to him for Dog to come and he happily did. Snuggling against him, wagging his tail and licking his hand. "I know, bello, you're the cutest." Santino murmured to him, rubbing his chest as Dog lied on his back. Santino chuckled and continued to scratch Dog's belly and chest and Dog was loving it, panting happily and his tail never stopped wagging.

And then the face kisses Dog wanted to give him, "No, bello, we talked about this." Santino chuckled and tried to hold him off, but he managed to get licked a little. "My arm still hurts, you know." He smiled at him, scratching his head as Dog finally calmed down and was looking at him.

Dog whined and licked his hand as if in apology.

"Ah, so you two are cuddling, hm?" John brought breakfast to Santino in bed, this isn't the first time he has done it, and Santino loves it every time. "Yes, we are." Santino glanced from Dog to him. "Ah, they smell lovely. With chocolate spread?" Santino asked with a smile. "Your favorite." John replied.

He called Dog off the bed to give Santino peace while eating. "I love you so much, I thought we ran out of it." Santino said as John placed the platter in front of him. "I always make sure we have it." John ruffled through Santino's hair. "And coffee, of course, let me bring it."

He brought their coffee, placing one cup on the night stand next to Santino's side. "I could get used to this." Santino said as he took a bite of a pancake. "I don't have a problem with that." John said and sat next to him, enjoying his coffee. "How's your arm?" John asked softly, looking at the bandage and it seemed that the wound stopped bleeding. "Still hurts. But a little less than yesterday." Santino replied. "That's good. It'll pass eventually." John rubbed his thigh, seeing how Santino smiled at him.

He loves seeing him smile. He would kill anyone if it would make Santino smile.

Dog peeked over the bed and whined. "Ah, what did I do to deserve you two?" Santino smiled softly at Dog and John. "Do I deserve this?" Santino asked. "You deserve everything, darling. Everything." John said gently, kissing his cheek in comfort. "Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Because they will end up with a bullet in their head."

That got Santino laughing a little, which made John smile.

"I would kill for you. You know that." He means that every time he says it. "Yes, I know. And I would kill for you, too."

They are really ready to do anything for each other. Married, they are unstoppable.

Okay I've gotten, like, 5 asks about my theories on how I think Buck and T will break up in the past few hours and I don't want to screenshot them all and put them in one and also because yall can get real intense and while I do support you, I need to pick my battles lol, so have this post instead. First of all, I think everyone needs to let go of the idea that it will be perfect and calm and just fizzle out just because it is Buck's first queer relationship. Queer people are allowed to be messy, like, come on guys. And this show likes to keep their queer people messy. The first scene with Michael has May and Athena snapping at him, then we find out he's been cheating on Athena. We meet Eva before we meet Karen, so we meet Hen messy as fuck love before we meet her wife. Josh can't catch a single break. The idea that there will be nothing wrong with the relationship just because it's queer is just not it because if there were nothing wrong with the relationship the relationship wouldn't end. I think everyone is taking Tim and the "Buck is in a romcom" too seriously, there are ways to be messy without being traumatic and I want some drama because if nothing happens it will be BORING. I am begging for some spice between those two. Second, I have about 100 theories of how it could go, we just don't have enough information on s8 for me to say anything. Yes, T parallels Ali, but he also parallels Taylor, and Abby, he is all of Buck's love interest smashed into one, so he can go anywhere at this point. He could get the Ali treatment and get broken up with off-screen because the relationship isn't serious enough and they didn't make a point of establishing his connection with anyone else in 7b so they could just get rid of him if they chose to, just say he moved or whatever. He could get the Ana treatment where during the opening event they throw doubt into the relationship until it cracks. But he could very much also get the Taylor treatment and stick around who knows how long even though he's not being written as endgame. We don't really know where they are taking the story yet. Do I think Eddie is gonna play a part? Not really, not fully. But it will depend on the time jump for the season, if there's a four-month time jump, they will have been together for what? Six months? At that point to make T insecure about Eddie all of a sudden wouldn't be that easy. Unless they lean into the emotional infidelity angle, but that would pull the trigger on buddie, because you can't have T call Buck out on this without forcing Buck to think about it and realize he's right and I am actually hoping Buck has a cool-off period before jumping into buddie because Mr moving in without noticing, Mr I got an apartment because my gf needs a better place to sleep, Mr wanna help me pick a couch even tho we only had 3 dates and you actually stormed out of one, Mr wanna go with me to my sister's wedding even tho we only had half a date because you ran away needs to learn how to take a breath and not jump into the deep end and hope he won't drown. So I hope Eddie isn't a deciding factor tbh. Gerrard could create problems tho. The jealousy line of thought, well, T says he's jealous of Buck's found family with the 118 on two different occasions, a situation where T is witnessing that firsthand could create tension if they want. You could even have that focus being on how well Buck and Eddie work together without framing the whole thing to be about Eddie. Especially if Buck somehow manages to get Gerrard's respect or Buck interferes when someone is getting the Gerrard treatment, and he suggests Buck's life could be easier if kept his head low. Do I think age will be a factor? It could be? But it would depend on the circumstances, T is supposed to be in his mid-40s, Buck's 32/3, there is tension to be put there. The idea of kids keeps coming to mind with Chris being a wildcard for the season, but again, it would depend on how serious they are during s8 and how long they plan on keeping T around. And if the show will decide to make them want different things.

Personally, I think the relationship wouldn't last a lot beyond Buck's helpless crush phase, but that's a me thing, there are ways to make it plausible for the relationship to last more than the infatuation stage. And I don't see him being that long-term because of the very deliberate choice of having the camera pan to Eddie during the ceremony and the way T wasn't at the hospital. Even more, considering the way they filmed a bt scene at the hospital they didn't use. The show has a very specific way of writing endgame relationships and none of those are being used. But at this point in time, we don't know anything about season 8, so it's hard to say anything clearly because T is in a very ambiguous position. They had a conversation about taking things slow and we were shown that they are, that could be turned around in s8 where they are fully committed or it could just spiral more and more into the idea it has no depth. Or he could fully just not come back. It could go anywhere and until we find out more about the season, it all feels like fanfic planning, it's speculation and wishful thinking.

The castle walls are abuzz with an infectious energy despite the tumultuous weather outside. The summer has been hot and humid, but the deepest reaches of the stone fortress are nice and cool. Of course, when there is a humid summer, there are plentiful storms. The sky is black as night, sconces lit in every hall to compensate for the poor lighting, and thunder rumbles deep. Stiles thinks, despite the excitement of his staff in preparing a send-off feast in his honor, the sky rather well reflects his mood. He’s angry, of course. Not just at his situation, but at himself for being angry about it. He’s known his entire life, or at least his life since he began to understand what it means to be an omega, that he would be married off to someone as a boon rather than a lover. He even has the advantage of being betrothed to a kingdom that harbors multiple lovers for their monarchs, and he has no doubt that, should it be needed, he can likely find if not true companionship then at least relief.  Nevertheless, he is more than disquieted over his situation.

I hope yall are even a PINCH as excited as i am for this behemoth to be born. i wanna share it so bad so bad so bad but i want to get ti finished first, especially because i might have to take a project hiatus right in the middle for the @sterekcollabang. I AM trying to get as much done as i can now so i MIGHT be able to post it before/during!

Hiiii yall! Sorry it took me a while to say my thanks to everyone who has been following the story so far. I realised I haven’t said my thanks when “The One” arc ended and I’m terribly sorry for that. I wanted to save up my thanks to the actual end for the 2nd act of this part bcs wow, act 2 has been super long compared to the pervious ones 💀 Trust me when I say I didn’t expect for it to take this long.

Jikook were wearing matching earrings in Run today. Guess they bought a pair & split it and each wore one or they own the same pair and wore them coincidentally at the same time. Nothing big, just another cute moment of them matching. Speaking of matching, when Jikook wore those matching gold & black & gold & yellow wedding bands, what happened to that footage? Do they every plan on releasing it? We know they were doing stuff together a group, but we only got snippets & never the actual footage.

REGARDLESS. What do you mean what happened to the footage? This wasn't a documentary released or much of anything. The Instagram clips and stuff posted WAS it unfortunately. The gold band behind footage came from Dispatch D'FESTA shooting clips. They posted it on their Instagram and some on youtube shorts. The rest was paid content only available AT the exhibition, stages, etc.

D'FESTA was Dispatch putting on a Kpop festival to celebrate their anniversary and BTS was part of the lineup. BTS pre-recorded all of their segments. And what we get video wise is either what Dispatch released as teasers or what ARMYS who paid for tickets and went filmed for us and shared the BTS cuts of stuff there and so video quality was, well it's just okay, its what we get when we steal content for free basically. Lol but Still wonderful!

No big agree. I never really considered we wouldn’t be getting a season 8 lol so I have said from before the season started that I did not think a hard core buddie launch would happen this season. It just was not something I see realistically happening with only 10 episodes. Especially with the Cruise stuff, The 100th, the Madney wedding, and the Henren Adoption stories all happening. And everyone else also needing the screen time they deserve. 45 minutes only has so much room to tell.

Now a soft launch? Seeing all the seeds of it planted in earnest. Seeing them pushed closer and closer together. Seeing those “oh” moments start to actually happen? All of that sprinkled throughout those 10 episodes? Laying that groundwork for a season 8 hard launch to hit the ground running? Giving both guys the time and space they need to get there in a realistic way that doesn’t feel rushed. Now that I can see.

yeah, 10 episodes is not a lot for everything to happen fr, like the cruise took 3 episodes, next one will be 100th, we still have Madney wedding ahead (and istg, as much as I love all the fics and theories and jokes, if they make anything even remotely buddie happen in an episode that should be all about Madney, I'm gonna be fucking pissed 🤣)

Re some of these ASOIAF metas. Look, I think GRRM is a clever writer, but not THAT clever TBH. Like, I read or skim some of these super in depth detailed metas and I just think "Yall know GRRM hasn't thought about this minor character or plot point since the Obama administration, right?" "Let's right essays about the lemon trees!" "What about all that stuff in Dani's chapters about her being incompetent, torturing people, burning people alive, and all that negative foreshadowing about her being a daughter of death, mother of monsters, and how she's gonna have all these people betray her on top of having clearly delusional 'advisors' blowing smoke up her ass about everyone in Westeros longing for the Targ dynasty return?" "Umm, so what you're saying is that you're a Dani anti, you hate women, and are pro-slaver." LMFAO. It's like you said, they can't see the forest through the trees. Anyway, the only meta that matters is the lord and savior's Adam Feldman's Mereenesse Blot essays.

ASOIAF is such a richly detailed series, and I understand the urge to analyze every piece of text but also- it's 1,770,000 words long!!!!! You'd have to be some kind of god-emperor with psychic powers to remember everything single thing you've written, and last I checked, George was but a mere mortal. And while there are plenty of subtle clues in ASOIAF, in my opinion, GRRM's writing is not as opaque as some people make out. I mean, I think the key example of this is probably the big shockers like Ned's death and the Red wedding. Like, it is shocking because it goes against genre expectations and the reader desperately doesn't want them to happen, but also the foreshadowing for it is everywhere, especially when you reread. George may not spell it out directly, but the writing is usually on the wall. It's why I roll my eyes at D&D crowing over figuring out R+L=J, because I think the average reader paying attention can flag onto it pretty quick.

George is a great writer who loves hiding little details *but* he's not hiding the endgame in some super elaborate puzzle that only the most dedicated super-fan can tease apart, because what would be the fucking point of that????? What is the added of value of burying so deep the true meaning of the narrative that most people will never see it, rather than subtlety weaving it in, so that the close readers might get it on the first read through, but that everyone will be able to follow once they know the ending, adding richness to subsequent rereading?

That's why I think patterns in ASOIAF (and actually all literature as this is kinda a basic tenet of literary analysis) is key to understanding not just the possible endings but also the overarching messages GRRM is trying to convey. What is emphasized, what is repeated? Why are characters highlighted this way, or why are they're actions mirroring each other?

I feel like the biggest thing lacking in the Meta-industrial complex is the question of "why?" What purpose does this serve for the narrative? Why would this detail be relevant?

And Dany's fandom perception is a low-key amazing phenomenon because it's such a great example of how the reader can become completely caught up in a characters pov, even when the narrative is actually contradictory.

And also the lemon trees thing is dumb, because AGOT has a TON of early installment weirdness, since GRRM hadn't ironed out all the details of ASOIAF's story and world building yet. There's a lot of weird, incongruous details that don't match the rest of canon because the story simply wasn't set yet, and a lot of the fandom ignores this lol.

how should I kill her?

my plan is to have the mom die once the child is born so I can get the adopted milestone, but I'm wondering if there's a way to off her that fits in with her storyline so far.

here's her storyline for starters; Tanya lives with her childhood best friend in mt komorebi. they're greeted by a few friendly neighbors once they finish settling in, one in particular being Kado Akiyama.

a few weeks pass after meeting the neighbors with nothing eventful happening, but then Kado calls them up and asks if he could stay over at there house for a few days, saying something about "needing to be away from home for a while". both women agree to let him stay.

while he's staying over, Tanya and Kado become closer, and eventually blossom a romance together, unbeknownst to Kado's wife. with this romance comes an unexpected pregnancy, which Tanya is very excited about; she's always wanted kids! but Kado is another story. Kado already has a child with his wife; he can't have another one with someone whom he isn't wed to, so he leaves her.

Tanya is devastated. her future child's father doesn't want them, but Tanya won't let her child feel unloved. so, she says fuck men and decides to raise the child on her own! but also with her bestie cause they live together lol.

so here's where yall come in; how should I kill her off? I need suggestions. pretty please...

Non-Spoiler Review: That was so underwhelming. It just sealed to me what an uneventful season this was. I feel like Peter Morgan only went off on Ep 3, 4 then 7 to 9 then called it a day. I don’t know what exactly went behind the scenes to make him chicken out of going full on with the punches like he did in S4. what if Thyme never brought his good boi ™️ attitude to dinner at Gorya’s? just imagine the chaos. Thyme walks in and dislikes the shabby furniture, spits out magic pork. family hates it and prohibit any future contact, while the dad says we should give him a chance because of the debt lol and tries to seduce Thyme and convince him to marry Gorya for financial reasons lmao. meanwhile Gorya furiously beats the shit out of Thyme and kicks him under the table and pinches his nipples. eventually he gets food positing from magic pork as punishment from universe and Gorya visits him at home and disses his lifestyle big time in front of Tia.

what if Thyme did not fall in love with Gorya at first kick? ok. so i’ve given it a thought. imagine a story line where Ren is meant to be the end game. Thyme bullies Gorya, while Ren stands up to Thyme. seems legit right? but why is your heart crying? i can hear the sadness from the other side of the internet. hold up. so Ren fights Thyme and Mira is out of the picture. Thyme continues to obsess over Gorya because it irks him that she’s made his kingdom redundant now with Ren on her side. but what if, even in this universe something happened. like Ren and Gorya go on a date, only for Ren to confess he still thinks about Mira so he will follow her to France. see where i am going with this? now with Ren is out of the picture, Thyme is bored. Hana still hasn’t shown her true colours, because let’s be honest she would never have done it unless FORCED by jealousy. so school has gone quiet. no red cards. UNTIL. with Ren away…Thyme can’t resist giving one to Gorya because she did after all kick him and his pride is hurt and he needs his power back— and…you guessed it. he falls in love on second kick. look they’re meant to be. no matter what. bold of you to assume they’d not end up together. 💀

what if Gorya never showed up by the ferris wheel on rainy day? she would have turned up at the hospital where he was admitted with pneumonia and fretted after she punched him sufficiently for not seeking shelter. Thyme used the opportunity to secure an actual date she cannot refuse since he has all the emotional blackmail on his side. the dye consists of constant fighting. Gorya manages to convince him to go to the amusement park and Thyme shoots the thingy to get plushie toys, in fact a whole cart. but surprise surprise Gorya score is higher and he is so smitten he requests a rematch asap. they hoard the plushies in a car and when he drops her at home the whole family pretends she’s not been awol the whole night and did not randomly return at dawn. apparently they had a flat tire and Gorya had to change it for him, but they got lost because Thymes sat nav broke down and they run out of batteries on their phone so slept in the car with thousand little plush toys from the amusement park for company.

what if Gorya didn’t go on zoo date because she never meowed? lord. what would we have done if our queen Kaning had not helped us out??? let’s not even go there. i refuse.

what if Ren never told Thyme that Gorya loves him? well Tia called my girl so she would’ve stopped the fight and after beating them all up and them pleading on their knees, eventually the truth would come out only to find bemused puppy thyme bouncing around, while she true to her style confines to deny it with a giant grin.

what if Thyme believed the haters and never picked up Gorya at school and stopped the red card? i would have stopped watching yall. that would drive me wild. but let’s say that was the case. Thyme i think would have a mental breakdown as soon as he’d heard what they did to her and thus would rush to seek justice. i don’t know if Gorya would have forgiven him as easily as she had. i imagine he would rock up to her house with truck of flowers and plead to be absolved while the family manically plans the wedding.
