What if a villainess fell in love with a girl who was also sort of her, and who she also sort of was as well? What if they never had a conversation, but everything they did was for each other? What if her name also meant "the world" and when the villainess says she's saving the world she ALWAYS means the girl? What if the girl's name became holy, and "Because it's what she would have wanted" became a litany, a prayer never spoken but engraved into every act of kindness? What if the villainess killed one god and then another and it didn't matter because none of them were her god?
Fellas, is it gay to manipulate things so that a man will fall in love with you because you think your god, your world, could find happiness with him once she takes back control of your body? Is it gay to see HER in every moment of romance he thinks is budding between you?
Anyway, everyone should go check out "The One Within the Villainess" everything it does is insane and I'm losing my mind.

Honestly loving how the series makes it clear that Remilia is still unhinged and manipulative, but that she's no longer a truly bad person because of the love that she was able to experience through Emi.
Something something, loving someone so much it changes the entire narrative.

Okay so, I've been reading The One Within The Villainess and it was supposed to be a non-yuri read, but- but-
I've gathered a list
1) They call eachother "dear" and "my" and the combination of "my dear" all the fucking time
2) Just this statement. 🏳️🌈❓
3) The actual plot. Take revenge on everyone that has wronged her? Creat a safe world for her? MY EMI???
3.5) You are the strongest version of yourself because she loved you??? Ma'am do you know how gay you sound?
It's official, everything I read some how turns into yuri.

Transmigration stories I've actually been having fun reading:
The One Within the Villainess: When Emi wakes up in the body of the villainess, it turns out the soul of Remila is still residing in the same body. Remila is content that Emi wants to give her a good life, but it's all ruined when another transmigrator in the body of the game's protagonist turns out to be a wolf in sheep's clothing. With Emi having gone comatose in despair, Remila retakes control to fulfill her wishes for a happier world... and get revenge on those who wronged Emi in the process.
The Crow's Prince: Rather than any of the characters in the story, our transmigrator wakes up in the body of an ordinary crow. Through devotion, protective instinct, and occasionally drawing on her past knowledge as a zookeeper, she looks to make the realm a better place, then step aside when the protagonist arrives. This, naturally, does not go according to plan.
May I Ask For Just One Final Thing?: The lead character is actually not the transmigrator at all, she's still the fiancee who gets dumped by an asshole prince. But she's also the strongest hand to hand fighter in the realm, and aims to fix everything with punching. (The reveal of who actually is the transmigrator and why they're there is fun.)

Random troupe I enjoy is when character A has the same body as character B except character B has passed on/went away and character A still cares about character B and looks at their face thinking of them.
