I think about it so much like. All they had was those few times a year they saw each other and maybe some letters or phone calls in between. They had to shape what little they had into something resembling a proper relationship, that truly, neither of them were built for.
I think they felt the same way about a lot of it they just never told each other. Both of them would be too embarrassed to admit that sweeping a room for bugs felt like doing mundane chores together, or that standing back to back in a gunfight made them feel safer than anything else in the world.
I think they just wordlessly constructed these rituals to get the affection and love they both craved but could never ask for. Their wrestling matches had elaborate rules and prizes, their nightly outings to bars were romantic dates in earnest, their mindgames and records on missions could only happen because they trusted and admired each other so much and their letter writing habits included code phrases only they understood.
What makes me go so crazy is how they must've held on to these for years as the best moments of their lives, even after the fall when the memories became soured. They picked up each other's habits and built so much out of so little, all while they rarely if ever truly expressed how much that meant to them.

ive mentioned this before but i really do love my key rat so much. i need to try to reverse engineer how this thing was constructed. i need to know how he was created
#i dont use him for keys. i use a spy family themed keycase LOL it has like. a print of a normal ass gun on it which is wild#but my key rat..... my oma gave him to me as a toy when i was a young kid and i used him as like#sometimes a villain who eats people. wraps his circle tongue and eats them to death#sometimes i used him as a nice guy whos weird but helps the main character toys#since ive had it forever hes at least 20 years old. i dont know where he came from. i think it mightve been homemade?#it doesnt have a tag. i dont think it was made by my oma tho. or maybe it was? she knows how to sew but she always preferred#puzzles and embroidery. most of the sewing i saw her do was like simple square things like a pillow case. i should ask her if she remembers#i love this thing. ive seen adjacent things to it (key holders that are a pouch you pull the keys into) and ive even seen ones shaped like#rodents but ive never seen one like this made of fabric. usually theyre leather nowadays#probably cause its more durable and easier to get a clean finish compared to like#this baglined..... situation? the seams are fully encased i dont know how they went about it#i need to learn more about sewing linings and stuff..... i need to figure out the key rat. i need to know his secrets

i've been playing a lot of it as of late actually, mostly been trying to practice playing pyro better, though i just don't really talk about it. really been trying to master the detonator.
my only real exposure to the game currently through playing it is just playing casual, i don't really play any community servers these days.
#ask#jabroni-apologist#my current pyro loadout is like. stock flamethrower. detonator. and... whatever melee#i dont really have a go-to choice for pyro melees like i do some other classes. i think i usually hold the axtinguisher#but i dont do comboes a lot. im up close to enemies. i dont need to hold my melee out.#otherwise i tend to lean towards the homewrecker#i do pretty well at playing pyro i think. tend to score above the middle to the top 3 at minimum on the scoreboard.#but that tends to change from match to match. sometimes i do well. other times im in the slopping mud#the main classes i switch between are: soldier. pyro. demo. heavy. engineer. sniper.#sometimes scout. very rarely spy.#pyro i tend to play a lot. heavy just beneath. i kinda wish the heavy had more stuff. or had some things rebalanced.#sniper i mostly play on attack. i dont trust myself enough on defense usually.#using either the sydney sleeper or huntsman. combined with jarate and the shahanshah#i dont use the bushwhacka cause i dont like holding weapons that give me damage vuln. even if its just when held out.#medic i tend to do really well as. heavy i do okay. engineer ranges depending on what playstyle i pick.#demoman i dont pick as much these days. though i still love the loose cannon.#i think i just lean towards other classes since ik id do better with them than demo.#also the constant ammount of sticky demos i encounter kinda puts me off to playing demo i feel.#soldier i always love playing but always feel like i should be playing pyro instead#the only gamemodes i play are mostly A/D ones. though i also have 5cp enabled. and ctf well.#i cant really stand playing KOTH these days. maybe its the map size with 24 players. i always feel like im dying more on KOTH#i have been playing a little less as of late because my headphones snapped in one spot#had to use a lot of tape to attempt fixing it. its very loose. idk how to make it better though.#its kinda put me in a sour mood dealing with but its not fully broken.#its a cheap brand i got from walmart thats got a skull on it. if it werent for the cheap plastic id say the headphones are pretty good#anyway. tf2s fine if you can manage to ignore the shitty people who play. and theres a lot. too many really.#ive mostly been playing to max out my item find limit. and leveling up my casual medal. which doesnt impact anything.#anyway thank you for the ask. sorry i dont talk about tf2 enough. i just dont have much to say about it.

I don’t think I ever posted abt this but I think it’s funny anyways last time I went to disneyland I went on so many rides that when I got in the car to go home I put my seatbelt on and for a split second I freaked out bc I couldn’t find the yellow strap to pull on 💀
#this happened bc I went on smugglers run and star tours so many times btw#it had become ingrained in my head that before ANYTHING gets moving you’ve gotta pull on the yellow strap#in that split second I was genuenly scared that I wouldn’t be able to get home bc I didn’t have a yellow strap to pull on#this is what star tours does to a mfer#i wonder how often stuff like this happens to ppl who go all the time#sassy speaks#sw#dl#for context for ppl who haven’t been to disney rides usually have a yellow strap on the seatbelts#that you pull on so the cast members can confirm that you have it on and also that it’s secure#usually at some point on my trips pulling on it becomes a subconscious thing#like I don’t even wait for them to ask me to I just buckle in and IMMEDIATELY start pulling on it it’s kinda funny#I’m especially egregious abt this on star tours bc boarding takes FOREVER#bc the cast member has to come in and press a shitton of buttons#so I’m sitting there for like a solid minute tugging on the yellow tab subconsciously like my life depends on it#star tours is a fun one to watch the cast member on bc all the control panels are on full display#i still havent figured out exactly when they take the spy pic I’m sure others have done sloothing I need to look into that#but it’s cool there’s a panel that has a light for each seat and the lights light up if the seatbelt is secured#so you kinda get to sit there and go ‘why did that mfer in the back row on the right not put their seatbelt on yet wtf’#star tours cast members are the real ones shoutout to all the cast members who have ever worked star tours#and watched me get on it like 4 times in a row and didn’t comment on it 🫡#I DIDNT MEAN TO MAKE A TAG WALL HOW DO I MANAGE TO INFODUMP ABT STAR TOURS ON EVERY POST I MAKE 💀
