The unexpected red-flag

The conference room fell into stunned silence as the rain drummed relentlessly against the windows. The TV murmured in the background, its volume turned low, but it was the soft, melodic voice of Amira Sainz that cut through the quiet.

News had spread like wildfire: Baby!Sainz, the beloved sister of Carlos, would grace the third season of the renowned Netflix series “Narcos”. The drivers, usually a rowdy bunch, now sat in hushed anticipation. For Carlos, this was more than just excitement; it was a lifeline. His sister’s return to the family was long overdue, and the chance to witness her artistic brilliance on screen made his heart swell.

Yet, their busy lives as racers left little room for leisure. Days blurred into nights, filled with data analysis and the adrenaline rush of the track. But fate intervened during the red flag at Spa, where the heavens unleashed torrents of rain. The perfect opportunity arose: why not start watching “Narcos” during this unexpected break?

Surprisingly, it was Yuki who suggested it. His eyes sparkled with mischief as he proposed the idea, met with a chorus of enthusiastic “yeah’s” and “omg, yes!” from the other drivers. Carlos and Oscar, absent at the moment, would soon join the impromptu viewing party.

And so, they embarked on their journey into the world of drug cartels, corruption, and intrigue. They skipped scenes where Amira wasn’t present, eager to witness her talent firsthand. But little did they know that the next scene would unravel secrets and twists they never anticipated.

Let's just say Amira Sainz looked good with and without clothes. Throughout her spicy scene, the drivers were so silent. They all looked at her dreamily on the TV when she kissed the guy and started taking of her clothes and-

"¡Eh, estúpidos idiotas! ¿Qué demonios estáis haciendo? ¡¿Por qué demonios estáis viendo a mi hermana desvestirse?!" questioned an angry Carlos. As soon as he saw his little sister on the TV he went into full overprotective big brother mode.

Instantly, Logan shot back, “It’s not what it looks like,” while Fernando chimed in with a soothing “Hermano, you have to calm down.” Meanwhile, Lance attempted diplomacy: “Carlos Boy, we can talk like adults.”

The other drivers rallied, attempting to quell the hot-blooded Spanish driver. But amidst the chaos, Oscar slipped away, drawn by curiosity. He cornered Lando, who was practically bursting with excitement.

“I can’t believe I missed this. How was it?” Oscar leaned in, eager for details.

Lando’s eyes sparkled. “Oscar, you should have heard her speak Spanish. And her hair—oh, her hair falls down her back like—” His words were cut short.

“LANDO NORRIS! STOP TALKING ABOUT MY SISTER, YOU CREEP!” Carlos’s voice thundered across the room, drowning out the rain and the TV.

From the commentator box outside, a muffled sound reached their ears—a high-pitched scream. Lando Norris, usually unflappable on the track, had met his match in Carlos’s protective fury.

I was wondering if the witch and the witchfinder are a canon couple in the nice and accurate prophecies? Or are they just a very popular fanon ship? Or is it like good omens, where people saw the romantic subtext in the book and where it was made explicitly canon in the show?

I just think all options would be really interesting, given that Crowley and Aziraphale are both middle-aged queer people and the book came out thirty years ago. So they either would have had some representation back then, or they recognised themselves in the story and even though it wasn't canon, maybe those ideas would later explicitly be confirmed by Agnes Nutter nonetheless? Since all these options have really interesting implications for the way they both interacted with the source material, I'm really curious what your thoughts on the matter are.

The Nice and Accurate Prophecy: Agnes Nutter's book series (turned play, turned film, turned tv series); the fandom in my fic Big Name Feelings

the idea of using Agnes Nutter's "Nice and Accurate" book for the in-fic fandom was taken from @tawnyontumblr's fic New Messages (i just thought that would be a fun fanon consistency to follow), but all the details about the story and characters are me.

N&A takes inspiration from Good Omens (as a story, and as a fandom) but isn't intended to be a direct copy of it. the original paperback series is a few books long, and each adaptation of the books are considered good, accurate, canonical content. the tv show (a HBO series) is the most recent, highest quality, and most popular. The Witcher style, high fantasy quality.

agnes is loudly supportive of the lgbt community just like neil/david/michael are. but i imagine that for the series to be so "marketable" over the last 30 years, there isn't an explicit queer relationship between the witch & finder. there are canon queer side characters but the witch & finder are a little more nuanced.

the witch and the witchfinder aid each other through time, working together to defeat the evils in the story (like Aziraphale and Crowley from GO). there's tension between them, but boundless love, and plenty of flirtation, despite the running "we shouldn't, we're meant to be enemies" theme. they would canonically get together at some point in the story, probably towards the end after they've spent some time dancing around each other.

the thing that makes this vague is: the witch reincarnates through the story, almost doctor who style. they're a trans icon, much like how the GO fandom looks at Crowley and all his gender ambiguity.

when they finally tryst with the witchfinder, they're female. it's by pure happenstance that they're female presenting at that stage of the story, but still widely critiqued over the years. the thing that canonises the mlm relationship is that the witch is said to carry their consciousness through each reincarnation— they're not a new person like The Doctor is when he regenerates.

the start of the book series spends more time on "Crowley and Aziraphale's favourite male reincarnation", while the movie and tv show only briefly montages through some of the witch's faces. the mlm side of the fandom most definitely lost their minds over the brief few minutes of screentime that they got of the male witch, and has absolutely gifsetted it to death.

i've done it like this because so much of (every) fandom has always been seeking out representation and filling gaps where the original content lacks. there's something to be said about the solidarity of queer fans creating more queer content for themselves. except, in the case of N&A, they're getting to work from a source material that is genuinely queer supportive, unlike fandoms like SPN and BBC Sherlock that are fighting against the tide of queerbaiting and buried gays.

it also gives aziraphale and crowley a chance to band together in the next chapter when they talk to a dickhead at the party:

i haven't exactly decided what happens with the witchfinder, like if the story takes place over hundreds of years and he keeps reincarnating as the same lookin dude (like how jack whitehall plays both Thou Shall Not Commit Adultery and Newton Pulsifer) or if it's set over one lifetime and the witch just gets killed and regenerates a lot. i do like the idea of there being some "through the ages" shenanigans, and a canonical "modern day" setting like GO has.

but i gotta be careful bc i genuinely can't stop thinking about this fake story that's barely mentioned in my fan fic or i'll end up writing the damn thing myself

ok this is so funny actually because a fun fact is that i completely forgot about this scene when i was writing the first chapter of ysd. and i fully have him say in that chapter that he's never been on a plane before - which to me felt very joel, to have never really travelled much

but then shortly after that i was re-watching tlou and here he is saying he'd flown a few times before the outbreak and i was kicking myself for forgetting that and yet! somehow! you're right! the same vibe is still sort of there???? having him all crammed into the middle seat, kinda awkward and antsy, not having the worst time in the world or anything but not like - loving it lol

and yeah so anyway it was just a total happy accident because i somehow had managed to completely erase this scene from my memory when i was first writing ysd but yeah i'll always be a just little mad i got that one little detail wrong hahaha

What do you think of the sequel of twewy then? You talk a lot about the original but I'm interested in your opinion of the second part because I saw a few fans disappointed :o

OKAY. Omg.

So first of all? Soundtrack? SLAPS. We won. We won with the sequel soundtrack. I actually prefer some of the new remixes to the original!

The artwork? Stuck to the original style. Can’t complain at all. The new designs? PEAK. They’re so cool. There’s new shopkeepers- who look AWESOME- who have LORE. We can access NPC LORE. I read about one who is married to one of the players? Catch me eating popcorn at that story.

Shout out to the sprites you get when you’re feeding your party members? They’re so cute. In original TWEWY we just had a voice telling us if they liked it after I’ve fed them. NOW we get to know via their face going 🤢 or 🥺 BEFORE they eat so I can give them something they definelty like! and I think that’s fun and funky fresh.

Gameplay? Fantastic. Absolutely brilliant. - the original game had a switch port and honestly? I really think they should’ve done better with the controls. What worked and was beautiful for the ds- felt very clunky on the switch. Especially when playing console? I mean what in the Wii controller buLLSHIT. I need my attacks ACCURATE and on tv that’s very very hard. My friend managed it but? Maybe I just need to get good LSLGFSPALDL. But NEO twewy? beautiful. Perfect. Great for the switch. no complaints on the new battle system.

The story:

edit: THE HUMOUR IS THERE. I FORGOR. I forgot how fucking funny it is. The amount of screenshots I have? Hilarious. Not any like quotable moments like there is in the original game. But there’s so much silly billy shit going on. Bunch of CLOWNS I swear.

Its messaging is not driven home as much as the original twewy is. Like my friend had to explain to me what they were doing because it’s very very subtle. The characters are changing but only just a little. -unlike the first game which, like? At the end of the game? These guys are CLEARLY not the same people who entered the game!! These are Zuko ATLA level transformations!!!: whereas Neo twewy game says? Hey. Your actions are kinda sucky bro. Ever thought about changing up your style? Like it’s THERE. But it’s clearly not the CORE of the game like the first one. And that’s where it falls flat FOR ME. I LOVE and ADORE character development and it’s just not the focus of NEO twewy. But that doesn’t mean I hated the game. I just don’t prefer it over the original.

What NEO twewy DOES focus on is world building which. I think they’ve made some super cool and interesting choices. Even if I, and many Joshua kiryu fans don’t agree with them. 💛 we just straight up ignore the new lore because we don’t like it- the one around Joshua anyway. They bring in some new reapers and some new plot line surrounding shinjuku. That’s fine. That’s fun. But. Joshua? MY MAN? No square enix, you don’t know my blorbo of 10 years better than me :))

So. In conclusion. I was not DISAPPOINTED. I just think they lost the core of what twewy meant to people for the sake of focusing on the new details theyve added. I think rindo and fret and nagi deserved better development.

ALSO IDK HOW I FEEL ABOUT TEAMS? I MISS PARTNERS. LIKE TEAMS IS FINE I GUESS BUT. PARTNER WAS SPECIAL.

Okokok real conclusion is that I was not disappointed. I had fun. I loved a lot about this game. But the original hit home so hard, and the sequel was just a good game.

omg i feel bad even trying to choose my favorite character, it's like choosing which of my pets is my favorite.. i don't love them more or less, i love them differently 😭 but the character with the story i'm most fond of has to be finn. i've put so much detail into his life, i could tell you exactly what he was doing at 3:03 pm on thursday october 11th 1979 (hiding behind the school with his friend steven, throwing pebbles at people they hate as they walk out the door and trying not to laugh so loud they get caught) and it feels like something that actually happened and i'm just peeking into another universe rather than just making stuff up on the fly. which is funny because there are countless versions of him coexisting in my mind and yet he feels like the character i have the most solid understanding of. but i wouldn't say FAVORITE because every character makes me feel a different way!! my favorite character is always the character i've most recently written for :')

as for looks, even though coco is having her moment on my blog lately i'm going with mikaela!! it's been way too long since i've reminded everyone here that i ♥ milfs fjskdjs and unlike with caroline or beth, i don't feel like i raised mikaela so i don't feel weird about finding her attractive (is it just me who feels this way? i can't thirst over any character who was at one time a minor in the story no matter how many years have passed because they'll always be a baby in my mind. i know they're just pixels and it doesn't matter, it's just a funny mental block i have). but in general i love how all my characters look and how it fits their personalities. i like that they just look like normal people (as normal as a sim can look anyway) and even the ones with the most put-together appearances (like elaine or coco) have moments where we see them without makeup. and i think i do a good job of ACTUALLY making it look like they have no makeup on, not like on tv shows where you can clearly see the actress is wearing a full face of "natural" makeup lmao. you can even tell that elaine wears concealer & mascara when she works out by comparing it to how she looks when she wakes up. it's the little details like that that make me love the visual format sims can offer! anyway that was a whole tangent but i have a lot of fun adjusting everyone's appearances over time / based on what's happening to them!

Whose your favorite turtles and why?

omg hi!!! sooo like you have asked me a very detailed question, dear anon. get ready for like an essay haha

im going to go in backwards order of release in terms of the different iterations and then do like an overall :3 (not including comics i haven't read those :(( )

started with mutant mayhem/tales of the tmnt:

honestly don't have a real favorite for this one, they're all sooooo silly and i adored the teenage vibe they got. considering they just kinda let the actors go at it, lines-wise, they feel so authentic teenager (i would also know, considering i was mid-high school when it came out last year). however! if i did have to pick a favorite for this version it would probably be donnie. i LOVE the glasses design and how he seems to be more computer smart then building things smart. a lot of donnies tend to be incredibly advanced for their age (which i do love and enjoy, donnie is soso silly <3) so it was cool seeing a donnie that probably just does programming and who knows how to set up TVs and stuff. like realistically he also put all the electronics in the lair, since that is a classic donnie move, but i find joy in the idea that he's just a fucking nerd that makes video games for fun.

this might change when the series comes out. honestly i can find something i love about each of them cause i really think they were all so well written!

rise of the tmnt:

okay so rise was my introduction to the series and has a very special place in my heart. the people who actually got me into the series told me that donnie would be my favorite character and guess what! they were right lmao. however, leo is an incredibly close second. i think the donnie & leo dynamic of rise is overall my favorite dynamic across the entire franchise!

anyways donnie! i think my favorite trait of his is how blunt he is. in middle school i was also super blunt, so that's just a fun little trait i relate to. (especially since donnie is 14 in the series). i also think he tends to have the best plot lines in episodes. having his own villains that aren't really shared with his brothers (the purple dragons) is so cool and just shows off how smart and strong donnie is as a character, something that's kind of downplayed when all 4 of them are together. also father donnie owns my heart <3<3 (which is in reference to his plot lines with shelldon)

also his design slaps. i LOVE making him a softshell so he has to create his own battle-shell. i personally like the idea that protecting his shell, or trying to make his shell more like his brothers, is what got him into engineering (does it count as engineering?). the goggles are stunning, the tech-bo is GENUIS!!!!!!

tdlr: love rise donnie. he is my boy <3

bayverse:

"WOAH!" i hear you say. nobody likes the bayverse movies! they look weird and the plots aren't good!

WRONG! i say to that! i much enjoyed the bayverse movies. i loved the designs. y'all can pry the bayverse movies from my cold dead hands.

anyways, i actually don't have that much to say, it's been a minute since i watched the movies haha. donnie and raph though live in my head rent free (starting to notice a pattern...). raph is probably actually my favorite, i really enjoyed the balance between family loving and angsty teenager that they did. he's the "nobody can hurt my family BUT ME" and honestly? i love that for raph. good for you buddy <3

2012:

i think 2012 is my third favorite iteration overall. i'm not sure what's second (probably 03) but rise is solid first and 2012 is solid third.

my favorite turtle is 112% leo. not just for the transfem headcanon, though that might be a factor haha. i just think leo was written really well. he's balancing being the leader, being the best, and also just wanting to be a kid and i think they did good for the time. like, y'all remember when leo was going to sacrifice himself in season ONE (1). shit is crazy!! he just wants everyone to be happy and safe, and if that means taking things into his own hands he WILL, and it was a great way to show how leo was meant to be the leader of the team.

on the opposite side of that, he's also super nerdy. he loves his silly space show, leo creates the live mazes & mutants game and makes everyone dress up! like yeah, he's an amazing leader and holding too much for his age, but he's also just a silly guy.

anyways yeah, leo is amazing in 2012. i love him soso much <3.

TMNT 2007:

eyyyy that one movie that has one of the best depictions of the raph and leo dynamic ever.

surprisingly, my favorite is neither raph nor leo. it's actually mikey!! yippee mikey appearance. i know he doesn't get a whole bunch of screentime in the movie, but he was amazing in every part he was. mikey being a "costumed" character for birthday parties? still being a wicked ass skateboarder? DRIVING? he's so cool!!! and like despite everything he still tries to be positive and uplifting, which is such a core mikey-trait. idk, i just love him <3

2003:

ahhh, the one i'm currently in the middle of watching (i haven't touched it in like two months but i've been busy alright lol)

i think my favorite turtle kind of changes between seasons, which makes sense because 03 i feel like focuses on one character for an over-arching plotline for a bit and then moves to a different character for a different arc.

overall, though, my favorite is probably raph. he's just so loving and caring in the version. like even though he picks on his brothers or argues with them it's still really easy to tell that he loves his brothers a lot and would do anything for them. also, he rides a motorbike which is rad as fuck. also also, donnie twin <3. also also also, raph is just like really funny in this version? i think raph and mikey make me laugh the most, and one of those characters is unexpected (raph).

the 1990s movies:

gonna be so honest, i don't remember these movies well enough to say which one is my favorite. it's probably mikey or leo though.

OVERALL:

(i've only watched like 5 episodes of 1987 so i don't have an opinion on that one)

no one is going to be surprised by this, but overall, my favorite turtle is donnie. there's just a lot of different ways you can go with his character and support/smart characters have just kind of always been my favorite when it comes to TV shows.

if i was to rank them it would be:

Donnie, Leo, Raph, Mikey

which hurts my soul a little bit because mikey does NOT deserve to be at the bottom of the list :(( mikey just tends to be the hardest for me to connect with and therefore he goes to the bottom. mikey i'm so sorry, please forgive me </3

My names Rory, and I’m back on tumblr for the bajillionth time and rebranding for the bajillionth time (seriously why did I ever leave in the first place, I love yall)

What’s my deal - I’m an artist! Previously I never really posted my own stuff, but now I want to start doing that. Obviously I’ll still repost things I like, but it’s not gonna be my whole page lolz. I started taking my art more seriously since I switched my major from marine bio to a double major in art and psych (physics and chem are too hard) I’m currently not in school (I had to withdraw during the middle of my first semester due to mental health issues, but I’m going back this fall! So excited!!)

What kind of art? - glad you asked. Im really into Frutiger aero and cybercore at the moment, so that’s what I usually base my art around, but I really don’t have one set style/“aesthetic” in my art. I go in between Frutiger aero, cybercore, y2k, scene, mizuiro, and basically anything else that I can sneak the color blue in

Music I’m into - I don’t mean to be one of those “oh I’m into everything” kind of people, as it’s not fully true, but it’s true like 90% of the time. My favorite genres right now are metal core, emo, whatever Ayesha erotica, millionaires, and slayyyter are, and ambient instrumentals (more specifically cybercore ambience and the little big planet soundtrack) I will not listen to most country, and pop music is very hit or miss, but other than that I usually like everything else. Specific bands I’m into include bad omens, mcr, motionless in white, spiritbox, and pierce the veil

Shows/Animes I’m into - hot take but I really don’t like to watch tv *gasp* I know I know, but it’s so hard for me to start new shows and keep watching them, especially if episodes are longer than 20-30 mins. Even with anime I have a hard time watching shows that I wasn’t into over a year ago. I’m really into JJK, Haikyuu, Yuri on Ice (rip), the aquatope on white sands, and tbhk

Other things I’m into - just gonna dump them all here lolz. Blues clues, Winnie the Pooh, stuffed animals (NOT squishmallows, hot take sorry) deltarune/undertale, sally face, Fran bow, project sekai (forgot to put vocaloid in music lolz), and the ds and Wii era Nintendo

I’m a very beginner embroiderer like I’ve done some premade kits and stuff so I just gotta learn the stitches and follow the lines. It’s so fun and stressful at the same time I genuinely have a love hate relationship with it at times. But I love how I can get a project at the end and feel proud that I was able to make that. Leaning into the grandma hobbies is jsut a fun thing to do in general

Anyway I’d love to get more comfortable to the point where I can just freestyle patterns and add cute details to my clothes and totes. I’d love to randomly add some flowers or my initial to bf’s items before he leaves for a race without telling him. He finds it a few days later is so surprised and curious as to why I did it, all I can think of is “as a token of my support/so you miss me less” 😭😭😭 how do I think up these cheesy ass thoughts

omg!!! i love grandma hobbies like embroidery. it sounds so fun and rewarding. i crochet sometimes but i don’t really make anything because its more a way of keeping my hands busy while watching tv. but wowow yes i love those videos where people patch holes in jeans and shirts with little embroidered flowers and things. maybe i need to get an embroidery kit🥺 and ahhh i love ur ideas here so much!!! i don’t have tons to add if im so honest, but i’ll give it a go anyway:

i so agree that george would be the most enthusiastic about it. i feel like with him it would have to be kinda subtle. maybe a little heart on his mercedes polos. some bigger personal design on one of his many linen shirts. he’d wear it all the time and tell everyone you did it for him. and he’d want to hear all about your personal projects, he’d even frame the ones you were proud of.

Since I am now the one reviewer of BFDI episodes, its BFDIA 14 time!

spoilers ahead! duh :3

starting off the episode with a really silly little bit and bringing back the basketball rain. I've loved the angle they take when intensely cranking and having Pen and Eraser there is pretty neat. Balloony being my beloved of course. He's so happy about things love him frfr. And Fanny! look at her go. She hates flying. I like the detail of her being held. Girlie is NOT used to having legs. Big fan of how Snowball holds her. Shes a cat to me. Of course Barf Bag, bestie to all, coming to her rescue.

I think like- just getting out of the intro bit, this is a very pretty episode. Very well shaded and flowy in its movements. Huge fan of that.

Going into the new Cake At Stake song I'm not a fan. Although I like TV and Lewis getting clowned on, I preferred the way it was.

The cake at stake itself was enjoyable. I liked the pan flute voting results. Made it very melodic! and OUGH!! PIN!! SHE'S BACK!!! Pin shall rise! Return of the W.O.A.H.! I'm gonna be honest, I didn't like Pin much originally, but these recent episodes have made me like her a lot more. I'm glad she's back to her normal self! The whole team is so happy to see her ouhhhhhhhh. I saw someone say earlier its like she's in a wheelchair and I wholeheartedly agree.

Of course, the total devastation of Golf Ball being eliminated. Tennis Ball calling her Golfie is absolutely adorable. But also Barf Bag, bestie to all, coming back to host. She's a girlboss love her. Also this is such a close elimination by votes like- what!!! also the golf club eliminating her X3

Also weird comment about the whole Pan Flute bit and Pillow. Very strange but honestly I enjoyed it.

Challenge time! Overall super fun challenge. The duos are interesting as well. I pretty much love all of them. Very long challenge tbh. The dynamics are super fun between them. Although something I'd like to note is I love the reoccurring joke of Donut being known for saying No and only that. The ingredients really were underground.

I think the challenge drags a little around the middle. The parts with Dora are fun. I love Dora. She's everything to me. I think she should eat an island one day. Another detail, where's Lightning's arms? How does he get his arms? Suppose thats a question for IDFB to answer.

The rest of the challenge until the end is a little meh, but Bubble comes back! The end is spectacular though. Pin gets to go super angry mode on freesmart and thats honestly iconic. also Needle's song is so awesome????? Full rendition when??????? but anywho I think Pin should do that more often. She's become an electric type. Beautiful moment. Good for Pin.

The final scene wasn't much. Just evil leafy. I originally thought "omg are we getting the 5b guys back?" but no, we weren't(I'm frequently a fool)

I remember being really unsure about how much detail to put in the ao3 summary about Cap being a vampire or whether to keep it vague. I think I found a nice middle ground – some people know from the get-go and some people start chapter two and are like “omg that’s what this is” and I enjoy that!

oh I’ve tried to explain this before but I do really like the alternating perspectives in this fic – it’s the first one I’ve written where the different perspectives are included in the same story and I like choosing which bits to overlap and which bits characters would want to skirt past. I also just enjoy the different ways that Pat and Cap speak and think!

the Captain opens the boot, but not before he flinches slightly at the little ‘bib bib’ noise that it makes. Choosing which modern technology will scare or confuse the Captain is great fun :D

I just wanted Cap to be as endearing as possible and also largely terrible at pretending to be a normal human, on account of he spent the last 70 odd years in the company of a witch and some ghosts. (this is in response to him pretending that the box of books is heavy)

love the phrase “bitter gusto” – such a Pat-in-his-feelings-trying-to-unpack-his-car-and-see-the-bright-side kind of vibe

him cutting his hand on the grater was what prompted me to think about and then write the other hand scene in the later chapters. (more on that later in response to a different ask)

He leans against the counter, looking more relaxed than Pat has seen him all day. Love the fact that Cap saw some blood and immediately had to yeet himself away to feed and then became more normal and friendly after that lol

the whole bit where they’re trying to fix the water pressure and the captain is SOOOO obviously asking the plague ghosts and Pat just thinks he’s scared, it gets me every time. I can see it so clearly in my mind. The ‘gah!’ noise is like the same thing he does in the show in response to Jemima I think? Or at least it meant to have the same vibe.

He’s sure the Captain smiles back at him, but he can’t have noticed him because he just…keeps walking until they both knock into each other roughly. This also makes me laugh a lot!! another symptom of the captain only having lived with ghosts for a long time.

The TV already being on when Pat wants to eat his noodles is because Kitty is the one watching West Side Story (love how Pat says it’s not his favourite musical) – she also goes and tells the Captain that Pat has fallen asleep and that ‘he might get lost trying to get back to his room in the dark, Captain!!’

“Sleep well.” He tells him.//The Captain smiles at him like they’re sharing a private joke. He’s so silly and endearing I love him!!

🌟 for lost then found - I actually reread most of it yesterday because I saw a photo of Larry wearing glasses while reading from the ghosts book and I vaguely thought to myself “hey his glasses are similar to the Captain’s. And then I paused and reminded myself that the Captain doesn’t wear glasses and got confused because I was sure I’d had this conversation with myself before and was imagining both Humphrey and the Captain wearing similar glasses and I finally realised it’s because I fucking wrote it in Lost then Found that they have the same glasses!! extremely silly behaviour of me but a part of the fic that I do like because it sits nicely in the ‘Cap is slowly opening up and getting to know people’ bit I think, in that he’s choosing to wear the glasses in front of people, and helping Humphrey out with school stuff.

omg maybe not THE vogue 73 questions thing but imagine matty and gf doing it for fun on her stories and they range from some batshit insane questions to dirty ones to some actually nice ones to like matty trying to outwit the trolls. anyway; utter chaos

Omg that’s so fuckin adorable 🥹 he and gabby used to occasionally post clips of each other and he’d photobomb her selfies and shit. Back when he had that colorful hair they went from idk green to blonde to blue or maybe it was the other way round? I always found that so sweet.

Like maybe she goes online while at his place and people start asking about stuff. Like, at first, he’s in her video for a quick sec to wave “hi” but then someone comments something about how there’s a painting in the background. She sees it and is like “oh that’s Matty’s living room. He got it from this or that gallery cuz he loves the artist. Actually he has so many.” Then people ask to see them so she does a mini little tour. Matty follows her around the house explaining each one.

Then people are like Omg they’re so cute and start asking about other stuff. Favorite date night dinners or whatever, tv shows to watch together, someone makes dirty jokes and of course those are the ones that Matty sees and picks up on, haha. Or like someone wants to know the story of how they met and they can’t seem agree on the details of who asked the other one out first or whatever. Or someone asks if they could have a threesome with a third person dead or alive who would it be. And Matty keeps coming up with the most absurd answers ever making her blush and giggle and constantly nudge him to stop embarrassing her.

Someone keeps leaving comments about how she’s too hot for him and he’s a piece of shit and is into inappropriate relationships or whatever. And Matty is just like “just say you’re jealous. It’s okay.” And she’s trying to just shut down the drama and move past it before it devolves into Matty just saying random crap replying to haters.
