the other most interesting consequence of the rules so far?

yeah, death is a lot cheaper this go-round, isn't it? theoretically, someone could die as many as twenty-three times and still be in the game. while i doubt that'd happen, everyone gets a lot more than three lives - well, presuming they lose them early.

see, the thing is, dying early is cheap. you still have time to spare, if you die early. you still have time to go earn more time, too.

if you die late, though...

anyway, we got a lot of deaths this session one (five by my count, three to the repeatedly reset boogeyman and two to accidents), and none of them seemed that upsetting to the people who died, because they're all still on green, still early, still have plenty of time left. death is cheap right now. hell, look at the map this time around - there's a mansion! that means there may even be totems in play, this go-round! death is cheap!

death is cheap until the clock ticks down, at least!

i wonder if we'll see a change in attitude - and maybe also a change in pacing - once the clocks get lower. it's easy to waste time, after all, when the end is far away; far harder to waste it when suddenly, you're realizing how hard it is to get back...

i've been dead and gone bc of school and jobsearching and everything happening all at once but ive been playing the boktai series games lately and i'm enjoying it a lot. I just got past the third boss in boktai 2. I don't know why but i'm enthralled with these games, i highly recommend them
