My most wanted characters for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

Now that we know the base roster for the game, I've decided to make a list of some characters I'd like to see as possible future DLC.

Nine, Rusty Rose, Knuckles the Dread, Dr. Don't

Since it's already been confirmed we'll be getting characters from Sonic Prime, I'll start with these. I think Nine, Rusty, and Dread are the most likely candidates for this DLC since they were already featured in Sonic Forces Mobile and Dash. Dr. Don't is less likely, but I hope that we get at least one member of the Chaos Council (who isn't Babble or Done-It, lol).

Fang, Bark, Bean, Great Battle Kukku, Witchcart

As a game that aims to include characters from across different continuities/dimensions of the Sonic series, the inclusion of some Classic characters doesn't seem like a stretch, and Fang would be a perfect candidate for such a spot given his recent reappearance in Superstars, and the fact he already has a signature vehicle and has even been in a past racing spinoff. And since we're including Fang, why not Bean and Bark as well? And yeah, Kukku and Witchcart are definitely just wishful thinking on my part, but I can dream! lol

Tangle, Whisper, Surge, Kitsunami, and Dr. Starline

Since we're getting characters from Prime, I'll be genuinely surprised if we don't get some IDW rep too, with Tangle and Whisper definitely being on the top of the list of most likely candidates. Surge seems fairly likely, too. And if we're including Surge, I'd like to see Kit join her. I know Starline has been killed off in the comic, but damn it I want him in the game! lol

Sticks

I know Sonic Boom is dead, but I reeeeaaalllyyy want Sticks in the game! And hearing her being mentioned in Sonic Frontiers gave me hope. lol

Agent Stone

Given the success of the films, and previous cross promotions with the games, I think it's pretty likely we'll get some movie rep in CrossWorlds. Even if it's a long shot, I think it would be really cool if Stone had the honor of being the first original human character from the films to appear in a game!

Sally, Rotor, Bunnie

Now we're getting into the delusional portion of the list. lol

But really, a spinoff game like this would be the perfect opportunity to include these characters, especially with the whole multiverse angle. The reason I'm picking these three specifically is because they technically already appeared in one of the games with their cameo in Spinball, so that might help their chances a bit (sorry, Ant). I'm definitely not expecting their inclusion, but man would I love it!

Other SEGA characters

Alex Kidd, Nights, Amigo, Bayonetta, Ristar, Zobio and Zobiko

It's been said that we'll be getting other Sega characters in the game, similarly to the past Sega All-Stars games, and these are my personal top picks. Bayonetta probably isn't very likely given the more adult nature of her home series, but she was included in two Smash Bros. games, so who knows? Ristar is a character I've always hoped for in these Sega crossover spinoffs, and it'd be great to finally see him get some attention! As for Zobio and Zobiko, I loved their inclusion in the first Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, and I was sad to see them getting dropped from the sequel. Bring em back!
