It's you that I'll be kissin'
Summary: In which Nico may not be the dream guy, but he makes up for it in his own special way.
Track 9 of short n' sweet - slim pickins
Warning! Nothing just pure fluff
A/N: I'm so bored I decided to write to keep my mind off the state of my country(writing this after the election so-)
I was meant to publish this later(on Sunday) but I clicked the wrong button so now it's here
You watched Nico as he slept, his brown hair falling across his face. Your hand ghosts over his cheek before raising it down.
"I can feel you staring at me." Nico mumbles.
"Sorry," you apologize. "You just look so pretty when you're sleeping."
Nico huffed a laugh as he rubbed his eyes. "I would say thank you but that sounds creepy."
You slowly got up and opened the curtains, temporarily blinding you.
"Given this scenario, it's not creepy at all." You argued. "I'm gonna get in the shower, you wanna join me?"
"It is cheaper," He hums in agreement.
You took out your hand for him to take which he did, and the two of you went to take a shower and got dressed.
You were currently drying your hair before picking one of Nico's sweaters and went down to the kitchen to find him cooking breakfast.
You sniffed the air. "Smells amazing baby."
"Well I'm not trying to end up like last time." Nico says softly.
Your face grimaced at the memory. "Those cooking lessons I've been giving Jack been passed down to you it seems."
"He always brags of how good of a teacher you are, you not ever considering being one is still a shock." Nico flips a pancake.
You looked at him in shock. "Being around little kids is something I can't handle."
"Are you gonna be able to handle our kids one day?" Nico asked.
You nodded. "Well I already do, Tracker is always a good boy."
You both knew what Nico meant but he brushed it off seemly taking that as an answer
Your dog Tracker loves the both of you and never caused all that trouble. He was visiting his uncle Jack for the week.
Nico turns around and places two plates down for the both of you, he sits beside you.
"I have the morning off, afternoon skate today. I'm all yours." Nico eats a piece of bacon.
Your eyes gleamed with joy. "Really?" Nico nods.
"Hm ooh can we go to the bookstore down the street? I've been meaning to get this book, it was romance and get this the love interest was a hockey player." You chuckles.
"That sounds familiar." Nico jokes.
"Well I didn't need it when I had the real thing." You poked his side. "I just wanna see what all the hype is about."
Nico nods as he looks at you. "Anything else you want to do today?"
"We can cuddle, I definitely missed those." You took a bite of your pancake.
"But babe we cuddle all the-" You cut Nico off before continuing. "And do a movie marathon of high school musical."
"We don't have enough time for that." Nico told you.
"Oh I know, that's for when you get back from afternoon skate." You explained.
Nico realized your intentions and his face grew in horror. "Oh no."
You began to smile wickly. "We will watch it so many times you'll know all the words to 'I can't dance' it'll be so much fun!"
"You wouldn't." Nico said.
"I'll blast the soundtrack in the car." You teased.
You then ran off to put your shoes while Nico started doing the dishes.
"Hey Nico?" You called out.
"Yes?" He washed the plate with the sponge.
"You know I love you right? I don't wanna make you watch it if you don't want to, you're the best boyfriend I ever had and I really don't want to lose you and I'm talking too much, I'm going to shut up now." You rambled.
You finished with your shoes and let out a yelp as you got up, Nico stood there staring at you.
"Baby what's wrong-" Nico cut you off this time by kissing you softly.
"Do you really mean that?" Nico asked softly.
"Of course I do, how could I not? You're just you and that's all I could ever need." You answer without hesitation.
"I love you." Nico caressed your face.
"I love you too." You smiled softly. "Now hurry up we have no time to waste!"

stans comparing HH and SU songs is so embarrassing. Despite my issues with both shows I still like them but SU has way better songs/bg music than HH. Rebecca is an amazing composer (I’ll ever forgive or forget viv trash talking Rebecca’s songwriting. It was on an old stream but she gave sugar shit for writing music with ukeleles especially musicals but honestly just sounded like she was seething hard) “everything stay” “love like you” and “I remember you” “giant woman” the speak for themselves. Another thing about SU is it had amazing soundtrack with instrumentals, it had tone/atmosphere. It made the world of Steven have a vibe and could set the tone and tell a story with music alone.
Also I know goose and Evan did the score for HH but honestly nothing stood out which is weird because digital circus has a great soundtrack it has those old rpg Nintendo game sound which is such a vibe and again makes digital world unknown but theres more things out there we want to know. “You’re new home” is so fucking good. monkey wrench also has a great soundtrack that’s really highlighted in episode 3, it sets a sombre, melancholic tone throughout the episode and it’s a pretty damn heartbreaking episode.
With HH its not really a good score there no tone/mood just a lot of sound effects and the eres no build up or proper setting to musicals. I know songs are good but they feel empty? Cheap? It’s confusing. Either goose and Evan were told to just write whatever while most of the focus and highlights were the songs but bg music can really make a show. HH has none of that. HB has good bg music I hate stolas but his theme “stolas speaks” “robo fizz show” are pretty good and they were made by Jefferson Friedman who does the music for the Harley Quinn show. Score just set ups tone in a narrative story telling way that better than just having characters singing, but that’s just me. Respectless is pretty good even if the lyrics are really annoying, I think people stopped saying hashtag and swipe left a long time ago, just makes velvet sound like a boomer
Viv can seethe all she likes, nothing she's ever written is ever matching Rebecca Sugar's songwriting for craft, storytelling, and sheer heart.

"Admist the wrath of my mother's love"
Growing up, people had always told me, "be kind to your mother, it's her first time living, too."
I always thought that growing up would be like those romcom movies, romance series, and living carefree. In my teenage dreams, never once have I included my mother. Was I really that selfish?
I grew up in a family of 6. My mother, my father, and my 3 siblings. (And of course me)
I was the youngest out of all my siblings. Me and my mother had always been the closest together, my sisters often going out with their friends and my father always getting buried in his work, which always left me and my mother alone in the house.
Although we were always together, not once have I really felt close to her. She was always so distant, often sitting beside me in our room in silence. Although moments like these were often with us, her presence was always constant as I slipped away from her, thinking that she would never understand me.
She annoyed me, But she was my mother. I hated receiving her calls when I was out with friends, her unending knocking on my bedroom door and the unwanted food she would always bring me. Why can't she just let me live my teenage dreams alone?
I would share my day with my friends, or people on social media, just like how I would share my first days of school with her. But did they ever listen like she does?
My mom wakes up at 4AM every morning. Ironing my clothes, preparing hot water and making my food. All without a single complain despite her tiredness and busy day ahead. Her love and dedication never failed to amaze me. Does she still remember my favorite food?
I still recall dancing with her in the kitchen when I was 9, singing one of our signature songs. I took one last glimpse at the kitchen before I left for my first day of highschool. She stood there, smiling as she cleaned up the mess I left behind. I left without saying goodbye.
On the drive to my first day of kindergarten, tears streamed down my cheeks, my mother would gently wipe them with her soft hands and cheer me up.
If only I could tell her how much I love her, how I need her by my side, how I cherished her homemade meals, I would dance with her endlessly, she wouldn't have to knock at my door, she's always welcome. We would eat the meals she cooked, together.
I know I'll regret it until my last breath. She was just trying, and she was hurting too. I'm sorry for hating you as you slipped away without me by your side. No time machine could ever match your love, but it could rewind me to the days I wished would never end.
I once sat on a bench in a park, surrounded by joy, laughing mothers and happy children. In that moment, the depth of my mother's love struck me. As I sat on the bench, I felt out of place, surrounded by laughter in a carefree world where I feel like I would never belong. For the first time in a while, I longed for my mother. It felt like a physical blow right in front of me, surrounded by reminders of a bond that could have been, but never quite happened. The bond I imagined as clear as the water from the fountain I used to throw coins in, each coin was a wish for an embrace I longed for, her warm embrace holding me close for as long as I wished.
Mommy issues made me a thoughtful child, now I know that love can never be bought, not even by countless pennies. Do you think of me like I think of you? We could have been like them, laughing and playing on the playground as you pushed me on the swing.
I wished you knew, mom.

HEARTSTOPPER SEASON 2!!!
I need to rant so here is one about each main character.
Issac: I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alice portrayed being aroace so well and I almost cried when he met the aroace art guy. AND THE WHOLE ROMANCE SUFFOCATING THING WHEN YOU KNOW YOU AREN'T GETTING THAT!!!!!! Also seeing more of his character and really fell in love with it It made my aroace heart so happy (I could go on lol)
Nick: I really related to him this season with his coming out struggles and wanting to come out but also not. Alice yet again exceeded expectations and perfectly showed how the queer teenage experience is! I love how much he helped charlie this season and his amazing development from season 1. He was just amazing in every way.
Charlie: His story was a lot this season in the best way. His story with his mental health really spoke to me and I related to it. This was exactly how is feels to struggle with your mental health. I loved seeing him get more comfortable, realize what he deserves and Im happy that he told ben and harry to fuck off. also I love how he was there for tao and nick and how he supported nick so much in his coming out and made sure not to pressure him and he truly won the best boyfriend award for that. Also the way he made sure to help tao and be his best friend their friendship rocked this season. Another amazing character
Ben: I fucking hate him and what he did to imogen and charlie he deserves to go die in a hole.
Imogen: I loved her so much this season!!!!!!!! I have to admit that I was a bit iffy about her in season 1 but she stood up for herself, made real friends and she was just amazing this whole season I also really love her dynamic with everyone.
Naomi and Felix: They both really helped elle find out who she was and what she wanted to pursue and I'd like to see them join the paris squad in the future!
Elle: Her character developed so much this season, you could see how much more confident she was getting and I loved seeing her pursue her interests and truly find herself and get together with tao! They are so good for each other and I think they will really come through for each other in the future and will be each other's rocks through it all.
Tao: My guy really likes elle and treats her like a queen. She is his everything and its so cute, He tried too hard at first but when he was himself he was at this best. I also loved him and charlie this season they are the best best friends and the lock thing was so cute.
Tara: She cares so much, She takes care of every single one of her friends and supported darcy in every way she could. Their relationship really took off this season, I liked seeing their ups and downs and them persevering through it all!
Darcy: Alice definitely used her character to portray the dark side of being a queer teen. I liked seeing her being shown as having two different sides and her not wanting to talk about her home struggles and presenting as this happy person. I really relate to that. She was great and I hope she gets the support she needs soon!
Sarhar: I'm sensing something between her and Imogen and I really like it! She was a great character!
Christian, Otis and Sai: I liked seeing nick with his supportive rugby guys and they were great!
David: He sucked so much of course. He is a homophobic piece of shit and he can fuck off.
Tori: She was great and really stood up for her brother and I loved all her scenes with at the Nelson-Spring dinner! she was iconic as always
Nellie: I LOVE NELLIE SO MUCH
Sarah (Nicks mom): SHE IS SO AMAZING AND ALWAYS SUPPORTS NICK!
Nicks Dad: He can go die in a fucking hole.
Also lets talk about the soundtrack? IT WAS SO GOOD! Mxtoons Mona Lisa, FALL IN LOVE WITH A GIRL BY CAVETOWN the colors of you throwback, CRUSH CULTURE AND PEOPLE WATCHING!! THE PROM SONG!!! It was all so good upgeicydgsilew8ugg623yuiqp18j
Alice oseman did an amazing job this season and it couldnt have been better!!!!!!! I loved how she included all the iconic scenes from the book too :) They are the best author/ screenwriter and she is jist the best!
I loved this season so much and I will rewatch it frequently! 10/10!!!!!!!!

Sweet Nothings from your Lips
Lee Jihoon x gn!reader
Sweet Nothings: A phrase meaning words of affection exchanged between lovers.
You know you truly love someone when every single word that comes out of their mouth is a sweet nothing to you.
A/N: another drabble for my carat readers! This is just pure fluff and hopefully you all enjoy it as much as I did writing it. Thank you and happy reading caratdeuls! 🫶
~Main Masterlist~
It was a quiet day. No emails, no phone calls, nothing. But even then, Jihoon was still ever the busy bee. He's the type of person that when he starts something, he will be too focused on perfecting it to notice anything else. This also includes forgetting to eat, sleep, and occasionally, take a bath. So it wasn't a shock for you when he didn't immediately reply to your texts in an attempt to check up on him, only finding him in his studio, hunched over his desk, working.
You heard about this new project of his about three days ago when he took you out on a coffee date. It was something about a movie's official soundtrack that he was paid to produce. He usually tells you about the projects he works on at the moment in order to let you know what to expect of him in the next few days. He doesn't want any arguments between the two of you to stem from his workaholic tendencies so he tries to be transparent to you as much as he possibly can. And because of this, it only made you love him even more.
You slowly entered the room as quietly as possible, hugging the plastic containing your take out food, trying not to disturb him. Closing the door to his studio, you placed the food on the small table near the sofa. You then slowly walked to where Jihoon is. Noticing how focused he was on whatever he was working on, you slowly wrapped your arms around him from behind as to not startle him.
"Hi love." You said softly, kissing him on the cheek. You felt him relax under you, all of the stress and tension in his body melting away from your touch. He turned his head to look at you before saying hi as well.
"What are you doing here?" Jihoon asked, still admiring you from the side.
"I just wanted to see you."
"Don't you have anything else to do that's more important?"
"Nothing is more important to me than being with you, Jihoon."
He would've fallen off his chair if you weren't hugging him at the moment. Even after 2 years of being in a relationship with you, he still can't believe how he got to be with someone as amazing as you. You complimented him in so many ways that he wasn't even sure if you were a real human being.
You weren't really paying attention when you said that to him. It was more of an "isn't it obvious" kind of statement for you so you didn't think much of it. It was only a few minutes after you didn't hear any reply from Jihoon that you stopped trying to comprehend what he was doing on his computer and focused on him. What you didn't expect to see was him looking at you as if you were the reason why this whole world began in the first place. You blushed as you looked away, trying to distract yourself from how intense his gaze on you was. You cleared your throat for a bit which then snapped Jihoon from his dazed state.
"So I know you haven't eaten anything since our breakfast together and that's why I brought you your favorite." It was only then that he noticed the smell of food wafting from the plastic on his table by the sofa. He watched as you unlatched from him and walked towards it, preparing the food you brought on the table.
"Come on, Jimmy. You need to eat." He smiled at the nickname as he took off his headphones and stood up from his chair. Jimmy was a nickname you gave him after learning about his work. In your own words, he was "such a genius that he should be named Jimmy Neutron instead. And look at that! You both have the same first syllable!".
He took the chopsticks and bowl of rice from your outstretched hands before sitting down right beside you on the sofa. You then started talking about your day as he listened attentively while eating. You were always in this small bubble of yours whenever you were talking enthusiastically about something. So each time you talk, Jihoon will always give you his undivided attention. And as someone that has been told before how much of a bother you were for being so talkative, his efforts didn't go unnoticed at all.
Taglist: @moonwonuu @belladaises
And so the night went on like that. You, munching your food while talking his ear out and him, listening to your voice like it was the best melody he has ever heard.

Here are the art pieces I did for the @rewritetheages bang event! I got to work with the amazing @thebatmandiaries who came up with an incredible story, which you can read HERE!
More artist comments under the "Read more" break, but long story short, I had a blast reading through the story and working with my partner on this! It's been super fun and I'm happy and proud of what we came up with!
Alright... so, once upon a time when I got into the Supernatural fandom... I myself had come up with a Destiel 1920's AU. The AU plagued my mind for a good couple of years! I drew fanart, I attempted to write stuff out, but ultimately I just sort of "wrote it in my head" and then left it at that when it was done.
This was back in like... 2014... fast-forward to 10 years later, and the summary for a 1920's DeanCas AU caught my eye during art claims. I thought the summary was really intriguing and I like the vibes for those Prohibition days (I slightly blame my older sis for her fascination of the mafia and their history rubbing off on me XD ). As I began drawing, I knew I needed the right mood music to keep me in the zone. I remembered jamming out to the Great Gatsby soundtrack when it first came out, so I thought it would work. As soon as the first song played, I was INSTANTLY transported to my earlier SPN fandom days and I remembered this AU.
It felt like such a sweet little celebration for me, and it made me want to do justice to my author's fantastic story even more! Seriously, I was hooked from only the first few paragraphs! I love the description and the pacing of the story. The scenes that always stood out to me the most was when Dean and Cas were talking, so I knew that was what I wanted to try and bring to life with my main drawing.
This was the colored version I had initially done for the bang, but then I thought, "Heh, wouldn't it be funny if I made it black & white too? Just like in the old times!" I sent both versions to my author and they loved the vibe of the black & white drawing, so we decided to go with that! I still wanted to show off the colored version though! So here you are!
Both the main artwork and the banner had their challenges. There were times when my bestie and art bestie had to cheer me on as I was screaming in a slight panicked confusion on how the heck I was going to get everything looking right. But I really am happy with how both of these turned out! And I feel so incredibly grateful and honored to have been able to work with such a talented author!
With that being said, again, go check out the story!

Fly Me To The Moon (2024) Review
I was super excited for this movie actually! Even though the marketing was all over the place, it was really good marketing. The poster we had was animated and I just really liked it. I'm very disappointed I couldn't find the GIF of it anywhere online. Anyway, looked funny, it was a historical piece about the Moon Landing, and it the trailer song was Hold On I'm Coming by Chuck Jackson and Maxine Brown.
Roan I thought this this movie was about bugs going to the moon. ...What? What the hell are you talking about Buggnutz? Hang on let me Google some stuff....
Buggnutz you're fired. You don't pay me. I do it for the love of the craft.
What's the Movie About?
Scarlett Johansson plays an advertisement agent with a troubled past brought on by a shady Woody Harrelson to advertise/fake the Moon Landing. Channing Tatum is the landing director of NASA with a troubled past who butts heads with ScarJo before they both fall in love.
What I Like.
The comedy of this movie is amazing. I love quick-witted humor and when jokes are told back-to-back-to-back. It encourages multiple watches and when the jokes are funny and the story is good, that's a great thing. Yeah, script's great. I like all the characters and the pace is mostly on on par with the jokes. Channing Tatum made my celebrity crush list with this movie, who can a man so handsome be so awkward and still so charming. It's witchcraft. I also like the Moe character, Woody really rocks the G-Man look and attitude. Also ScarJo is hot, but I don't think I needed to tell you that. Her character has a really good arc in the story though, I think her and Channing Tatum stood out in that regard. Ray Romano has most of the emotional moments and my god is he so good at making it work. It is kinda crazy actually. I like the visual elements of the story. For whatever reason, shots with a foreground moving slower than the background is very visually appealing to me. They did it at the beginning of Deadpool 2, and they do it for a montage in this movie. The montages are pretty cool looking period. They do a bunch of split screen with animated news clippings and play news segments from the time. I love the jazz soundtrack as well. My final praise is how they do the moon landing. It is so amazing how the movie makes you hope an event you know has happened, happens. One half of the story is the NASA engineers trying to make sure that Neil, Buzz, and the other guy can land and return from the Moon. Y'know, the most famous event that happened in Space and the coolest thing the US government ever did? We all know how it ends. But while I knew that intellectually, my limbs were tingling when they counted down to liftoff, and the was on the edge of my seat when they landed. It helps that this is also where all the various plot threads and schemes in the movie are converging, so it's like a firecracker going off. The best heist movies do this, and this movie is basically a heist movie but instead of stealing something, they're going to space. Fly Me To The Moon is awesome.
What I Didn't Like.
Despite the comedy being so tight, the movie is a little shaggy in places. They only really introduce the faking the Moon Landing part of the story over halfway through the movie. Speaking of which, I don't know if it was good idea to court the "Moon Landing was fake" conspiracy theory for a plot. Like the jokes are funny and the story is interesting, but you know some loons are gonna use this movie as evidence that the Moon Landing was faked. But it was. All I have to say to you, Buggnutz, is Rooster Tails.
Final Summation.
I may or may not have mentioned this before, but my favorite show of all time is Leverage. It's about a bunch of con artists using their skills to scam rich people to help regular people. It's super good. What does this have to do with Fly Me To The Moon? Well the movies is basically a long episode that takes place in the 60s. Seriously, the crew in this movie is an older guy with a tragic backstory that haunts him, a older sexy grifter, a smart black guy, a short guy, and a young lady who's used for out-of-water comic relief. That's Nate, Sophie, Hardison, Eliot, and Parker! And I love it. It's a lot of fun and it made me, someone very critical of nationalism and the US, swell with patriotic pride. Why can't we do more space stuff? I know being pro-NASA yet anti-military industrial complex makes me a hypocrite, but... You wanna meet an alien. I wanna meet an alien.

Ninjago seasons and specials ranked by how good the music is (with commentary)
Just a comment before we start: This does not include Weekend Whips or any other intros. Just the score that plays under episodes and credits music
21. Skybound
There's just barely any music for this season due to budget cuts or something of the like, and what music that is there I'm just not super enthused about or I forgot about
20. Crystalized
While there's a good amount of music for this season, I didn't find it super special or appealing, and it was just kind of meh like the season itself
19. Legacy of the Green Ninja
I hate to put this here, but something's gotta go here so it might as well be S2. The music was pretty great and there's a LOT of it, plus it's available to the public on an album, but really the only tracks from this season that stick out to me are Day Jobs and The Final Battle
18. Rebooted
Again, don't dislike the music, but something's gotta take these spots and I can't even recall any pieces from this season except for X-1 Joyride and Built to Protect
17. The Island
The score for this season is miles better than the plot and execution, but there's not a lot of it. There was like, one piece I could find on youtube. It was great though! Really fit the island vibe
16. Fire Chapter
It was pretty hard to decide whether The Island or Fire Chapter went here, but eventually I decided on Fire Chapter just because it had more tracks, plus the ongoing and reused Serpentine theme. None of the tracks really stood out to me, but I loved that they reused the Serpentine theme from the first few seasons for Aspheera and her minions
15. Seabound
This one is here for a combination of reasons from The Island and Fire Chapter. It has a lot of music, plus it fits the ocean theme super well. None of the tracks stood out to me except for the one reused one from Wu's Teas when they're all walking out in their diving gear though, so that's why it's this low
14. Hunted
I absolutely love the plot of this season and the hunter's theme, but the only thing that really stood out to me as 'Wow, this is amazing was Dragon Hunt'. It's also super all over because of the whole realms thing, which obviously doesn't make for a very consistent soundtrack. The Resistance Never Quits is a great track, too
13. March of the Oni
Now we start moving into the great seasons. 13th place might seem low, but considering how flipping amazing the other soundtracks are I think this is well-placed. It's diverse, but all fits together and the two moods are nicely separated, unlike whatever was happening in Hunted. I really like the nice, flowy, and clean tracks when we're around the ninja, and the choppy, dissonant music with the whispers and uncommon time signatures for the Oni never fails to give me good chills
12. Hands of Time
I'm gonna be honest with you and say that I was going to put this one a LOT lower, but then I decided to give it a relisten, and DANG. I can't believe I forgot how much of a BANGER this soundtrack is! Especially the ongoing theme. I think I forgot just because the plot of the season is so forgettable, but the music definitely goes hard
11. Rise of the Snakes
I think this is probably the most expected ranking on this list. The soundtrack is great, but it's not amazing. It's really hit-and-miss, honestly. You have bangers like Falcon Chase, Taking the Bait, Weapons Take Flight, and Race to Ouroboros, but the rest of it is kind of bland and forgettable in my opinion
10. The Lego Ninjago Movie
It seems like no one talks about the score for TLNM when we should absolutely be talking about it! It's great! You should really go listen to it. The percussive flute tracks by Greg Pattillo are especially good. Pieces like Sibling Rivalry, The Rise of Kitty Kitty, and Wise Master Wu are also super great!
9. Sons of Garmadon
I honestly can't remember why I put this so high, but I trust more-awake-Fiddler's judgment. It's got a great score, it's just that not a lot of it is super memorable for me. The very beginning of the season (the first bit of Sons of Garmadon Heist) gets stuck in my head all the time though
8. Pilots
Even though there are only 3-4 tracks in both episodes (depending on whether or not you count the Overture), all of them are amazing. Attack of the Skeleton Army, Discovering Spinjitzu / Dragon Ride, and especially Training Course all go hard, and I love that the very first taste of Ninjago we ever got had such great music. Like, be honest. Do you think that Ninjago would've taken off if it had some crap MIDI, mass-produced music in the background? I personally don't think so. We owe a lot to Vincent & Kramer for the Ninjago we know today
7. Day of the Departed
Considering that this special has like, only one track, this is pretty fuckin' high for just one piece of music among whole seasons worth of music. I cry pretty much every time I hear Maybe I'm Departed, and it hits so much harder after Kirby Morrow's passing. Also, little self-promo here, if you haven't listened to my version of Maybe I'm Departed yet, what are you doing?
6. Prime Empire
Prime Empire's music is just fucking sick. It goes so hard and perfectly fits with the cyberpunk/video game vibes of the season. It's so diverse, too, with tracks from Scott's Stowaway Part 2, to Stayin' Aflight, to Fourth Mile Marker, to the Noir Whip. I'd say one of my favorite parts in the entire thing is when a West Side Story reference appears in the soundtrack of Confidential when two or three of the goons are snapping like the Jets lol. My favorite track in Prime Empire would have to be Fourth Mile Marker, just because it's so beautiful, and the melody also reminds me a lot of the theme from Schindler's List, which is just a beautiful theme
5. Dragons Rising
DR is all the way up here despite being so new because the music is already so iconic in my eyes. I haven't even really paid attention to the 'remixes' of old pieces yet, I'm just in love with the original music. It's so unique, and you really can't mistake it for any other season. I especially love the credits from The Merge Part 1, and Tradition of the Ninja
4. Master of the Mountain
I originally had this at #3, but I made a last-minute decision to bump it down one. Not because of anything about it though. It's fuckin' epic. I love the ongoing theme, and in the suite, I absolutely love at the very beginning the few notes played by handbells. Also in the suite, from about 5:49 to the end is the most epic, magical, grandiose thing I've ever heard in my life and you need to go listen to it right this second. Exit tumblr, listen to it, then come back for the top 3. I'll be here when you get back. And one more thing I love about the score is that it's constantly in different and weird times, and cuts out beats when you're least expecting it. Also, I know I said I wouldn't bring Whips into this, but I absolutely love that the beginning is in 6/8. First whip not in 4/4 let's gooooooooo
3. Ice Chapter
Honestly, I was super torn about whether I should put this one at #4 or #3, but in the end, I chose this spot for a number of reasons. The whole thing just gives off winter vibes, I absolutely love the folk aspect of it for the Formlings theme, the Ice Emperor theme is so freaking dark and scary, and there are so many bangers! Namely Akita Finds Her Animal Form and Twice As Stubborn
2. Possession
If you know me, this might come as a surprise seeing as how much I love this season and its music, but it's actually second place for me. It is home to my favorite piece from Ninjago ever, though, which is Ghost Story. I've probably made dozens of posts about the geniusness of Morro's theme and music when he's around and talked about, so I won't go into great detail about that. Just know that the well-known bit features the tritone (often called the devil's interval) played on a fiddle and/or viola (the fiddle was considered the devil's instrument back in ye olden days). Anyway, I highly recommend that you go listen to Ghost Story because it's just a wonderful piece that beautifully tells Morro's story through music
1. Tournament of Elements
I always go back and forth on whether ToE or Possession is my favorite season, but there was no doubt in my mind that ToE is my favorite from a musical standpoint. It's so diverse, yet fits together so nicely. The music features a lot of traditional drums and chanting, really fitting the whole island/fight club/cult theme. The season also has a bunch of bangers, spanning from Gauntlet of Humility, to Thinking About Yourself, Rooftop Ruffhouse, And That's The Kink, I Am the Titanium Ninja, Lloyd's Flashbacks, and who could forget Sneaking Around, the credits music for a bunch of episodes in a lot of other seasons
So, do you agree with my ranking? Feel free to reblog with thoughts or your own rankings!

Broadchurch: The Next Chapter
Chapter 14 - The Talk
Alec and Daisy strolled along the familiar shoreline of Broadchurch, the crashing waves creating a rhythmic soundtrack to their conversation. The clouds hung low in the sky and the air was cool and crisp. Alec walked with his hands in his coat pockets, glancing over at his daughter as they meandered close to the water's edge.
"How are you doing, Daisy?" Alec asked, his voice steady but tinged with the natural concern of a father. He’d always found it difficult to ask these things directly, but he’d been making an effort to check in more often. "Everything all right with school? With… everything?"
Daisy shrugged, kicking at a small pebble on the sand. "Yeah, I guess. School’s fine, work’s fine. Nothing much to report, really."
Alec nodded, not pushing too hard. Daisy had been through a lot over the past few years, and while things had stabilized recently, he knew better than to assume everything was always okay. But she seemed content enough today, and for that, he was grateful.
They continued walking in companionable silence for a few moments, the sound of the waves filling the gaps in their conversation. Alec took a deep breath, bracing himself for the topic he’d been planning to bring up. He wasn’t sure how Daisy would react, but he knew it was important to ask her how she felt.
"Daisy," Alec began, his voice a bit more serious now, "there’s something I’ve been thinking about. I wanted to talk to you about it."
She glanced at him, sensing the shift in his tone. "What is it?"
Alec looked out at the sea for a moment, then back at Daisy. "I’ve been thinking about asking Anna to marry me."
Daisy stopped walking for a second, clearly caught off guard. She turned to face him fully, her eyes wide. "Wait… really?"
Alec nodded, his expression soft but sincere. "Yeah. I’ve been thinking about it for a while. Things have been good between us, and I think it’s time I make it official. But… I wanted to know how you’d feel about it before I go through with anything."
Daisy blinked, clearly processing the information. After a brief pause, a smile spread across her face. "Dad, that’s… that’s great. I mean, I wasn’t expecting it, but I think it’s really good."
Alec exhaled, relieved to see her smiling. "You’re sure? I don’t want you to feel like this is moving too fast or -"
"Dad," Daisy interrupted, shaking her head, "I’m happy for you. For both of you. Anna’s great, and she makes you happy, so I’m all for it. You deserve to be happy."
Alec’s lips quirked into a rare smile, his eyes softening as he looked at his daughter. "She does make me happy. But your opinion matters to me, darling. It’s not just about me, it’s about us - all of us."
Daisy stepped closer and gave Alec a small nudge with her shoulder. "You don’t need my approval, but you have it. Anna’s amazing, and you two are really good together. Besides," she added with a teasing grin, "I think she might actually say yes."
Alec chuckled, shaking his head at his daughter’s cheekiness. "I hope so. You know, I wasn’t sure how you’d feel, but… it means a lot to hear you say that."
Daisy’s smile softened, and she linked her arm with his as they resumed walking. "I’m happy for you, Dad. Really.”
Alec nodded, his heart full as they walked in silence once more, the bond between father and daughter feeling stronger than ever. The waves crashed against the shore, the wind whipping gently around them, and for the first time in a long time, Alec felt a deep sense of peace.
He knew he was ready to take the next step with Anna, and with Daisy’s support, it felt like everything was finally falling into place.
——————————————————————————
Alec stood awkwardly in front of the jewellery display, his hands stuffed deep into his coat pockets. He felt completely out of his depth. Beside him, Daisy was scanning the sparkling rings with much more confidence, her eyes darting between the various options while Alec looked like he was going to be sick.
“You don’t have to be so tense, Dad,” Daisy teased, nudging him with her elbow. “It’s just a ring.”
Alec grunted, his brow furrowed as he leaned forward slightly to peer at the rings, though his expression made it clear he had no idea what he was looking for. “Yeah, well, it’s not just a ring, is it? It’s the ring.”
Daisy smirked, clearly enjoying watching her father squirm. “True. But you’re making it harder than it needs to be. You’ve got to think about what she would like.”
“I know that,” Alec muttered, rubbing the back of his neck. “I just… I don’t want to mess this up.”
Daisy’s expression softened as she glanced at him. “You’re not going to mess it up, Dad. Anna loves you. You could probably propose with a ring from a gumball machine and she’d still say yes.”
Alec gave her a look, half amused, half exasperated. “I’m not doing that.”
Daisy grinned, then turned her attention back to the display. “Okay, so let’s think. Does Anna like simple things or something a bit more flashy?”
Alec thought for a moment, picturing Anna. “Simple,” he said finally. “Elegant. Nothing too over the top.”
“Right, good start.” Daisy pointed at a slim, delicate ring with a single diamond. “How about something like that?”
Alec stared at the ring for a moment, then shook his head. “I don’t know. Maybe it’s… too small?”
Daisy let out a small sigh, anticipating this was going to take a while.
Alec glanced up at the jeweller behind the counter for help. The jeweller smiled patiently. “You’re doing just fine there, sir. If you’re thinking of something timeless, this might be a good option,” they said, pointing to a ring with a vintage-inspired design, featuring a single stone set in a delicate band with intricate details along the side.
Alec blinked, leaning closer to examine it. He could imagine Anna wearing something like that—something beautiful but not overly flashy. He nodded slowly. “Yeah… I think that’s more like it.”
Daisy looked at him, her smile widening. “See? You can make decisions.”
Alec shot her a sidelong glance, but the hint of a smile played on his lips. “I just want it to be right.”
Daisy softened, resting a hand on his arm. “It will be, Dad. She’s going to love it.”
Alec let out a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding, finally relaxing a little. “Alright, this is the one then.”
As the jeweller carefully boxed up the ring, Alec glanced at Daisy, who looked genuinely happy for him. “Thanks for helping me with this, darling.”
“No problem,” she said, her tone light but sincere. “It’s not every day I get to help my dad pick out an engagement ring.”
Alec nodded, still feeling slightly out of his depth but relieved that he’d made the decision. “I just hope I don’t muck up the proposal.”
Daisy grinned, giving him a reassuring look. “You’ll be fine, Dad. Just don’t overthink it.”
Alec smirked. “Easier said than done.”

Here is the prologue to my new novel:
𝓐 𝓓𝓲𝓹 𝓘𝓷 𝓜𝔂 𝓓𝓪𝔂𝓭𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶𝓼...
Description: "𝕷𝖎𝖕𝖘 𝕷𝖎𝖐𝖊 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕲𝖆𝖑𝖆𝖝𝖞'𝖘 𝕰𝖉𝖌𝖊..."
Alex Turner's heart has been broken. Now he's caught in a spot between lust and love... Or a lust for love. Playing through shows, falling in and out of bad situations, and getting really close to the album that'll make the band most popular...
And the common thread? The consistent spark? And the inspiration, the muse, the art piece?
*You.*
Alex Turner X AFAB Reader (AMAB version will be made available soon.)
(She/they pronouns used, reader is nuerodivergent and queer, but otherwise unspecified, this is for the conversation's sake.)
Disclaimer: None of the songs and lyrics are owned by me, and this does not represent the real people here! Obviously, I tried to write them as accurately as possible, but none of the events in this story actually happened. This story is also a bit different than other X Readers, and if that's not your thing, that's okay. Slow-burn romance, smut, strangers to lovers, open relationships, MLM, WLW, and a mix.
I hope you enjoy this, it's something I really wanted to put together, and was happy to write!
Have fun!
𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓵𝓸𝓰𝓾𝓮:
January 2012
The excitement could practically be tasted in the air. The winter air whipped around you, taking your hair carefully in its invisible hands. You stood in the long queue for the show that you had spent over half a year excited for - You were going to see your favorite band tonight.
Arctic Monkeys.
You had their fourth album on repeat lately, Suck It And See. It was an album that illustrated a tale of deep love, lost love, and love slipping away... Naturally, Alex Turner was an amazing songwriter, and those songs were poetry, despite the line in the titular track "I poured my aching heart into a pop song; I never did get the hang of poetry." Well, that was a bald-faced lie... Yet one couldn't help but wonder if Alex Turner had actually wrote those songs based off of his true feelings - The lovely song Cornerstone wasn't based on a true story - Yet the headlines as of late, had been blasting Alex Turner's personal life, and all it's juicy details... Suck It And See didn't seem so fictional after news of his breakup...
Yet you were the type who didn't really give a shit about what made the music, you just cared about the art. It often felt like Alex Turner soundtracked your life, why would you need to picture those songs being about someone else when you could relate to them? It's the same thing with many other celebrities, like Taylor Swift (Who was releasing a new album this year, and you couldn't be more excited!)... You had been lost in thought the entire time that you were in the queue, daydreaming about this day to finally see your favorite band.
It was slightly nerve-wracking, you were a little scared that the line wouldn't move fast enough for you to get inside on time, and the sun went down, so it was cold in dark - But that's a normal anxious feeling, and it was soon quelled as the groups in front of you went quickly. The queue stretched around the venue, and the fans were so excited... They held signs with lyrics, or asking the band members to marry them, and tons were wearing leather jackets, or had gelled their hair, after Alex Turner's latest look change. He had been known for being a 'cute boy' for years, his hair getting fluffier and fluffier as the years went on - Until at the end of 2011, when he made a drastic change in his style... Gone was the haircut you had dubbed 'Mushroom Head', and now came this biker wannabe, a biker who was acting like he just walked out of the 1950s, as if he would fit in with the characters from a film like The Outsiders. Yet it was an exciting change... You felt like this era was only getting better and better - From interesting music videos that focused on the drummer Matt Helders, to a fake band for B-sides known as 'The Death Ramps', who also did collaborations with Richard Hawley and Miles Kane... And the band just felt more mature and in-tune than ever.
Your hand delicately handed the ticket to the scanner, the greeter outside of the venue. She smiled at you, and wished you a good time. You responded that you knew you would have a great time. And how could this night not be great? You had grabbed an amazing dinner and pint from a downtown pub, were dressed to kill with the coolest, most unique style on this side of town... Makeup that would make anyone jealous of your skills, and beauty that you were aware of, just never flaunted. You were so beautiful, but you never needed someone to validate that for you. But they still did. You complimented several people on the way to your seat, and they all responded sweetly, saying that you looked stunning! That validation was sweet - It was like life was falling into place - Like you could love yourself, and people could love you too, but you didn't *need* it. You were a beautiful person worthy and everything was enough for you.
Like tonight.
You didn't need to grab a drink or food, you were already full, and you really didn't want an emergency bathroom trip to ruin your concert experience or make you miss anything!
Settling into your seat wasn't hard - You had snagged a seat that wasn't exactly the pit, but wasn't the nosebleeds. You had a great view of the stage. The anticipation was killing you, you hadn't even looked up the setlist - You pondered what the opener would be, the finale... You played with the items in your bag, coming to a concert wasn't always the safest, and England wasn't always the safest, but you knew that you lived in a safer area, and you were prepared for anything... The security guards were fine with everything in your clear bag, and you scrolled through your phone, through Tumblr, mindlessly scrolling in anxiety yet excitement.
The opening band, The Vaccines walked onto stage, and they played a great opening show.
Fidget, fidget, fidget.
You kept fidgetting, way too excited for the band you were finally going to see, after months and months of hoping, and wondering how this was gonna play out.
5 minutes. 15 minutes. 30 minutes after The Vaccines had walked off... Until, the band finally walked on... The crowd lost their shit. Matt played the first few beats of 'Library Pictures', and the crowd wouldn't stop cheering for the next hour or two. You couldn't help but smile for the whole fucking show, singing along with so much passion, you knew every single lyric, and you were dancing, feeling the music through your body. The people around you smiled and complimented you on your looks and dancing, and none of them minded that you were having a great time - They all wanted to share that experience.
A little over an hour into the show, the band played 'The Hellcat Spangled Shalala'... The most ridiculous title of a song for such a bop - Alex Turner was acting all cute, interacting with the audience, forming hearts with his hands and arms, blowing kisses into the audience, singing with passion - His muscular arms practically bulging out of the black T-shirt he had picked for the night, and sweat gracefully dripped off his body. His hands and fingers masterfully playing the guitar and his cheeky smiles shined through as he sung the lyrics he put his whole heart into writing - He was truly trying to hide the heartbroken man he truly was deep down. His eyes kept scanning the crowd, and his eyes fell on you... You were a bit far away, his eyesight had to slightly strain, but your distinct style and wondrous dancing made him smile. Mentally, he dedicated the bridge and the last chorus of 'The Hellcat Spangled Shalala', to you - You definitely seemed the type to be a hellcat - His heartbroken mind and soul slightly hyper-fixated on you. It's not like he was trying to be weird or random - It was a slight obsession that just fell into his mind because a beautiful person had just crossed his periphery.
"And in a hellcat spangled cavern
When your judgment's on the road
And you're acting like a stranger
'Cause you thought it looked like fun
And did you ever get the feeling
That these are things she's said before?
Her steady hands may well have done the devil's pedicure
What you waiting for? Sing another fucking
Shalalala, shalalala
Shalalala, shalalala"
The crowd sang along with much glee, but you noticed that the crowd wasn't as into it as the other songs... Reminded you of all the middling reviews you had read about Suck It And See... That it was indistinct and there was nothing special - That was a moment were the critical were looking for something bad, not good about it - Suck It And See was kinda the perfect combination of Humbug and the Submarine soundtrack that preceded it... Alex Turner was only getting better at songwriting - But it didn't seem the crowds were clicking with the new album as much either - You could see it from the stage that Jamie's smile faltered, as he played his riff. He quickly regained it and his charisma, as he turned to smile at the audience again. It just seemed the crowds didn't care for Suck It And See... Which was a shame, it seemed the boys had put their hearts into that record... It was an attempt to sound poppier and groovier, and well... Perhaps the next album, if there was one, would expand on that. For a moment, Alex would play his new songs to diminishing returns, and stare at the pretty girl whom had caught his fancy.
Snapping back to it, snapping back to his music, his art, he finished the show with a bang. And you had no idea that the simple bit of eye contact made you occupy his mind - You were realistic - You were a supporter of the band, and you didn't entirely expect the band to hear your individual cheers and gratitude. Which wasn't a bad idea. Alex didn't even know your name, yet you vexxed him.
It was a great night, you went out to the pub from earlier, posting on Tumblr and Reddit your experience and photos from the concert - It was a wonderful night. You ate some greasy chips, sipping another pint of ale, talking with others in the pub about how amazing the concert was - you ate the chips, ordering a dessert - Tonight was all about treating yourself... It was amazing. This night would be a highlight for years to come.
And Alex had a great night. He slumped into his hotel bed in the dim light, and after a few moments, his mind wouldn't allow him the sleep he desperately needed. He got up from the bed and grabbed a pad of paper and a pen... He started throwing together words on those papers in his hotel room, lines about Lone Rangers, Electricity, kisses, time-travel, and the old Valentine's phrase of 'R U Mine?'... Lightning cracked outside, and he separated the paper. One song would be known as 'R U Mine?' the other would be known as 'Electricity'.
And they were both about you.

blabbering about ep 1!
spoilers obv
btw I blabbered a lot on twxtter about it a lot, so I'm likely gonna repeat myself here.
First of all.
NEW DRAGON BALL SET
NEW STINKY OP NAMEKIAN GRANDPA HACKING EARTH'S DBS LIKE IT'S NOTHING
DESIGNATED DB GUARDIANS NO ONE DARES TO FUCK WITH
NAMEKIANS "OTHER WORLD" ORIGIN LORE DROP FROM THE SUPER MANGA HAD PAYOFF IN LINKING BACK TO THEM BEING FROM THE DEMON REALM, ALONG WITH THE LINK BETWEEN "DEMON KING" PICCOLO AAAAA
was this made for me??? this feels specifically made for me.
And then there's also:
White vs black magic, specifically talking about wishes and what Shenlong won't do
The new DB set is known as Porunga, so I'm really looking forward to the design!!! Porunga OG, the prequel!
Shenlong being hesitant and oddly specific about the age wish and what to do with ones who are already kids, but then deciding for himself who the wish effects. (You could say Chichi stood up to Buu, but 18? Bulma? You could really include everyone who contributed to the genkidama lol)
DEGESU AND GOMAH BEING SILLY and Degesu being related to Shin! And Arinsu is also their sister?!?
That's Kaioshin, Namekian, and DB lore lovers all being fed a feast in this one episode. Upcoming Majin lore with Pansy, I suppose too.
Arinsu potentially could be the first main Big Bad Lady???? And she's pulling the strings from the start???? Amazing.
I think the fact that there is already THIS much (even though it was a slightly longer premiere episode) to talk about just in story and new lore is... Just wow. Who would have thought when Super was at its end that we would be here a few years later with not only story content, but animation QUALITY. Soundtrack quality as well.
I'm so happy to be around for this period of DB. It's so fun. And bittersweet with the timing of Toriyama's sudden (?) death. But so magical.
I don't think I shared this sketch here? Here's my guess at a Super Porunga of sorts.
As a side note, here are some things I guessed correctly from the trailers:
Neva hacking the DBs via auto-summoning
New DB set/new Namekian grandpa (though I thought it might be Zalama) based on the spell in one of the later trailers. (Does this mean the dragon's name is part of the spell? Dorusie? Dorushiē? We'll see. He does say it twice though.)
Other stuff that remains to be seen:
What Arinsu's goals are
What wish does Degesu want? (Surely this will be a silly gag)
What will the other 2 wishes actually be used for?
What the fuck is that Eye item Gomah mentioned? Tenshinhan relevant???
Will they try to go to Namek first, but they'll all be affected too? Please show me tiny Porunga.
Alternatively, it would be funny if Gomah and Degesu hopped along to Namek to summon Porunga for more wishes, and Neva could probably push past the password part. Hence why our main team have no choice but to head to the Demon Realm. The first part likely won't happen as long as they don't find out about the planet though.
Gohan. I have seen discussion about him coming in clutch and having his powers as he's there only one that was in pretty good fighting shape at age 6/7. Please show our boy and tiny Videl.
Okay I'm gonna have to turn my brain off now. But anyway EP 1 stopped at such a great point. I'm so in love with this production and love how positive it has been received. We're so back. I can't wait for Friday.

Renaissance and Revival-era Disney movies that I wish had different directors, writers, and/or songwriters
Original lyricist/composer(s): Matthew Wilder & David Zippel
Desired lyricist/composer(s): Stephen Schwartz
I'm a big fan of Stephen's work for Disney, and I was really shocked to learn he was the original person intended for Mulan's soundtrack. However, due to Disney having an issue with him working for Dreamworks at the same time, they decided to remove him from the project. Given how Schwartz has a talent for making really epic, dramatic songs, it feels like "Mulan" should've been up there in scale with "Pocahontas" and "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" due to the trinity's dark vibes and storylines.
Tangled
Original Songwriter(s): Glenn Slater
Desired Songwriter(s):Stephen Schwartz
I personally found the songs in the film to be very lackluster. "Mother Knows Best" is AMAZING (and it's reprise is the best Disney villain song, I swear), but that's about it. Nothing else drew me in or stood out to me musically. Given Stephen's track record with me, I think I'd be replaying this soundtrack more often if he put his magic into it. We can keep Alan Menken as the composer, though.
Original Director(s): Nathan Greno & Byron Howard
Desired Director(s): Jon Musker & Ron Clements
I personally wasn't impressed by Tangled; Rapunzel, Gothel, and Pascal were the best parts of it. Given Musker and Clements' track record with Disney films, I think I would've enjoyed the project more if they were the heads of it (though I do like Byron's other Disney projects).
Raya and the Last Dragon
Original Director(s): Don Hall & Carlos López Estrada
Desired Director(s): Michael Dante DiMartino & Bryan Konietzko
Let's say that due to the lack of Asian-centric media in the west and Raya's story of uniting divided lands, Disney already foresaw the potential comparisons and rather than skating around to dodge them, they decided to do one better by having the original creators of "Avatar: The Last Airebender" direct the film, with the end goal to make it almost like a spiritual successor to ATLA but still something distinct, and the directors' emphasis on finding a clear direction for the SEA story and wroking with the SEA screenwriters would've made for a stronger narrative--and it's likely Raya would've had a different personality/design to avoid comparisons to Katara and Korra.
Original Songwriter(s): None
Desired Songwriter(s): Lin-Manuel Miranda
Lin-Manuel Miranda probably feels like a repetitive choice, and I'm unsure if he would've felt comfortable working on RATLD and "Encanto" at the same time (they were released the same year, btw), but I do feel like given his involvement with two animated Disney films (and two live-action films later down the road), he's essentially one of the people kept on Disney's list of people to use, similar to how the renaissance era used Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, and Stephen Schwartz a lot. Plus his music with James Newton Howard's score would make the world stop--plus this AND "Encanto" coming out the same year would definitely break records in box office for COVID films (Raya testing the waters first, with it's success encouraging more people to see "Encanto" in theaters).
Wish
Original Director(s): Chris Buck & Fawn Veerasuthorn
Desired Director(s): Hayao Miyazaki
Don't laugh, and don't judge me. I've wanted a Hayao Miyazaki-directed Disney for a LONG time--I was hoping that it'd be one inspired by Japanese culture, but it doesn't matter as long as he brings his creativity--that said, that probably means he should be the screenwriter for the film as well, at the very least in collaboration with Jennifer Lee and Fawn Veerasuthorn. If you know his filmogrpahy, you know he comes up with beautiful and thought-provoking cinema, and "Wish" is exactly what that should've been. Plus he said his favorite Disney films are "The Little Mermaid" and "Peter Pan," so I take that as a green light for Disney's anniversary film! Plus it could open up the door for him to direct/write future Disney films based on the film's box office and Hayao's experience working with the company (which I PRAY would be positive).
Original songwriter(s): Julia Michaels, Benjamin Rice, & JP Saxe
Desired Songwriter(s): Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Bobby Lopez
As I've said on other posts, it's ridiculous that Disney hasn't utilized the husband/wife team more outside of the "Frozen" franchise (though they have worked on Disney-owned projects, such as Pixar's "Coco" and Marvel's "Wandavision"), and after "Gigantic" was cancelled for whatever reason, I think they should've been the first people on Disney's list for potential songwriters for the film.

FlipWitch Review
So I talk about games I've played a bunch on here. I just played a new metroidvania over the last week, FlipWitch: Forbidden Sex Hex, and it was such a strangely cool experience.
Because at first it was like just alright, like it didn't do anything great for a while, but everything in the game was up to a standard that was better than average for metroidvanias. Like I've played so many metroidvania demos that I just never get through because of how samey they all feel; but even though I wasn't initially hooked with this game, it stood out. And not just because of the hentai scenes, though that did help as I've never played hentai game even close to this level.
But as I played FlipWitch more and more, it kept getting better. There were plenty of QoL things that made sidequests and exploring fun. Like having your main upgrades be tied to sidequests was interesting and I don't think I've seen that done that way before. I wish some of the sidequests were like post-game, cuz I kept doing them because they were fun, but by the end of the game I felt really overpowered going into boss battles.
But speaking of, the boss battles are what MAKE a metroidvania and they were of varying quality. Some felt okay, some felt rushed or underdeveloped, but there were a few that were so freaking amazing and felt great. I wish there were more amazing boss battles cuz it's obvious the team is capable of creating them. (Like I'm being critical here but it's because I see the potential.) I really wished they focused on this more for all their bosses.
The soundtrack was great throughout the whole game, it's actually how I learned about the game in the first place. Like Phantasmal Phunk showed up on my YouTube recommended while I was listening to music and it's a freaking banger. That's the easily the best song, but somehow the rest of the soundtrack still surprised me with how good it was.
I kind of mentioned it, but I really wish there was some post-game content. Like extra story scenes for completing all the sidequests and discovering everything. Like I explored and did sidequests as I was playing and I felt like what was left didn't really have too much of an impact. If there was a lot left to discover after I beat the game it'd be even worse, like what would these upgrades be for if there's nothing else left to fight. Like it'd be so great if they had a bossrush mode where the bosses are balanced around you having all your gear and upgrades and you get to experience them again but at your true level. (They'd probably need to take away some of the healing because 11 heals at full upgrades is super OP as I discovered.) But I'd love that so much.
I saw in the dev updates, they were adding QoL stuff for a few months after release. And in January they were thinking about more updates, but so far nothing. Hopefully that means they're working on something a bit bigger for the game, but if not hopefully they're working on something else cuz I'm a fan now and want to see more.
But yeah TLDR: FlipWitch isn't just good for a hentai game, it's just actually really good.

I'm a little behind, but I finally finished listening to the G-Witch OST!
It's honestly incredibly rare for me to listen to anime OSTs anymore, and especially one as long as G-Witch's. But this OST is incredible, it's absolutely going among my all-time favorites, and easily my favorite Gundam soundtrack.
My favorite song by a fairly significant margin is "The Way We Wanna Go", it's been stuck in my head for days and I've listened to it on repeat multiple times. I cry whenever I listen to it and I'll always wonder why this song was cut and what it was meant for. It's almost the epitome of all the "what ifs?" I have regarding G-Witch and the full potential this show had.
As far songs actually in the show, my favorites are "Liberation from the Curse", "Wish" and "The Witch From Mercury". If I listed every song I loved on the OST here, it would be over a quarter of the whole track list, but other songs during the show that I always loved and stood out to me were "LFRITH is the Future", "Happy Birthday to You", "Asticassia" "The President of the Benerit Group", and especially "Distant Memory", "AERIAL REBUILD", and "Quiet Zero."
Really, any song using the leitmotifs from LFRITH is the Future, The Witch From Mercury or Asticassia is beloved by me because they're all so good. Takashi Ohmama did an absolutely amazing job.
If you loved the show and haven't listened to the OST yet, you should really give it a listen, it's available for free on Spotify and YouTube. And if you loved the show but don't really have the time or the interest to listen to all 3 and half hours of the music, I implore you to at least listen to The Way We Wanna Go, it's possibly one of the best songs from the whole OST and it was cut from the show.

Oneshot and its Music Comparisons to Real Life Situations 🎶
This post include spoilers from the Solstice run, scroll past this if you haven't finished the game.
Oneshot has an amazing and touching list of soundtracks. Getting technical, the game in general is amazing and touching, but this post is about the soundtrack. All the songs are great and fit them in their respective well, but I'm going to list only 2 songs I could describe really well with the post title, and one of the songs stood out to me the most outside the Solstice run, is the tower in the refuge city.
1. The Tower
I think the tower's soundtrack was the one that felt close personally for me. It starts with a small arpeggio, when then is just the entire gimmick of the song. Coming from the person that once listened to a song for 10 hours straight, this could be extended forever and I would still listen to it due to how touching it sounds.
That being said, this song struck close to me because I think like many others would also agree, nostalgia is a pretty good factor into feeling emotions and this song is no exception. It makes you feel like that you cannot go back into the past and explore your past, which funnily enough you could just leave the area where you enter the tower in-game, unless you already closed the game inside the X room.
Another song I think that's also really good but may not consider a "song" is the World Machine.
2. The World Machine (Solstice)
This song is, with no exceptions, a song that fits really well in their representative area. The song starts with a pad sound with beeping sounds onto the left side of your ears, though I just think the song is a little similar to Super Monkey Ball 2's World 4 theme except it's without the drums nor a beat. Sure, that's a pretty wild comparison to compare an upbeat song to a soothing ambience song, but I'd argue that since video game music/chiptune composers (like me for example sometimes :D) are creating tracks for their game, they tend to notice more things than an average listener would when listening to tracks for inspirations.
Getting back on track, the song itself is quite similar to working on computer programs, or if you want to be really nerdy, using a Linux terminal. As someone with a enduing love for tech and currently taking a computer science class in College right now, the technological sounds throughout the song really makes you feel like you're inside a computer and the in-game area enhances that too it too.
My Conclusion
I think I might've had gone off-rails with my second pick, but these are what I imagine you would feel like when listening to songs. Though, I think there are more songs I believe that can evoke a feeling or imagining something in the list but these are the two picks I think are well-worth sharing to here.
