p4d posting, it’s like actually insane the degree to which yu likes yosuke. ‘liking their friends’ is pretty typical protagonist behaviour, and it’s super clear here that yu really likes his friends, but even still damn when it comes to yosuke it’s a different level. the framing of “yosuke and the others”, the way he genuinely sympathizes with yosuke’s self-inflicted plight, and of course the reciprocation of “partner”…yu’s thoughts just kinda drip with sincerity towards him. it’s cute

THAT GIRL IS...POISON!!!
Tumblr media
Overstimulation, slight somno, Not proofread
A/n - hello! I know I haven’t been posting that much recently because I’m on a small tumblr break but I still decided to schedule this post so I hope everyone enjoys it!
˖ ⊹ ゚。 ✧
Sweetheart—hahh fuck! Don’t you think you’re going too ngh-fast, Ohh fuckkk!” His moans escaped in a mixture of desperation and pleasure, his voice husky and filled with desire as he struggled to maintain his hold on your waist in an attempt to steady himself properly—Fuck, Satoru felt so lightheaded and dizzy, his thighs trembled as he weakly tried to recover from his pasting orgasms which was the…third one?? In a row.
It wasn’t really your intention for it to be this way. Dealing with difficult coworkers all day was challenging enough, but having to cover a shift last minute because of someone else's absence made things even tougher for you. So least to say when you finally came home from work you were sooo frustrated and had to let off some steam and you don’t know what, but something came over you seeing your pretty boyfriend, shirtless with his grey sweatpants hanging low by his hips, revealing a glimpse of his mouth-watering happy trail and v line in the kitchen cooking dinner for the two of you. It’s like it triggered something inside of your brain.
And that's how you found yourself on top of him on the living room couch, his snowy-white hair tickling his forehead, damped with sweat as he gazed up at you with half-lidden eyes in a mixture of exhaustion and desire. His sticky cum from the last three rounds marinating inside your cunt as you continued milking him for the forth, sure your thighs were quivering and aching but it’s nothing compared to the overwhelming amount of pleasure you got from fucking your boyfriend like this. Your feet gently rested on his toned thighs as you bounced up and down on his cock, trying to cum once again and get him as stimulated as possible.
His jaw fell slack and his eyes rolled back repeatedly in sheer ecstasy at the lewd sight of you fucking down at him like this—sure Satoru loved being in control and fucking you absolutely stupid as you drooled and cried into his expensive bed sheets while he pounds your sloppy little cunt from behind but there’s just something about seeing his feisty, persistent little girlfriend being so demanding and treating him like your personal toy to fuck yourself on made him lose his mind. He loved it so so much.
He enjoys being your dildo to cream on—even if he’s on the verge of literal tears right now from the overstimulation of you bouncing your ass on his twitching, overused cock. he didn’t even had the power to try and get you off from his oversensitive dick—all he could do is lie there and take it. You won’t lie, you carried a lot of pride in having the strongest a whimpering and moaning mess alll because of you.
“Babyyy, Goddd! you’re so fucking crazy” his voice cracked as he flashed a fucked out smile at you as you ran your fingertips along the defined ridges of his abs before trailing them upwards to his chest—feeling every bit of muscle from his body that you could possibly reach. “You look so shit!- fucking beautiful”.
“Yeahhh? Oh you look so pretty like this too toruuu” you cooed, his cock was filling you up so well, just the way you wanted. You raked your hand over his chest, groping it before you accidentally did something. Which made his cock jump inside of you, throbbing and pulsating—you felt it and it made you questioned, why you never thought about it before?
“Whatthefuck—Holy shitt nghh” he groaned out, a lump forming in his throat.
You pinched both of his nipples, twisting and toying with the hardened bud before he lets out a high-pitched whine, his ragged breaths quickening as he came, spilling whatever bit of cum was left inside his balls into your already stuffed and leaking pussy, the action catching you off guard, causing your back arched slightly, the overwhelming pleasure consumed you as your rhythm got sloppy. You quickly chased your high following him—his gooey cum coating your sensitive clit and dripping down all over his balls and sheets as his balls throbbed with his release, his seed getting fucked so deep inside you as you continued bouncing on him.
His pretty pathetic whimpers and moans were like music to your ears, you were actually starting to feel bad but you were soo desperate to cum, you had to—even if you already did it about four times. It felt so fucking good and seeing Satoru like this made you even hornier.
You moved your hand down to rub your clit, feeling the intense pleasure building up as three of your fingers carefully circled the sensitive bundle of nerves as Satoru weakly looked up at you, if it wasn’t for his bright ass blue eyes peaking out faintly, you wouldn’t have even noticed. He had no power or energy to do anything, it’s like your pussy snatched his soul from his body and he’s just laying there lifeless but with his cock still throbbing with need and joy.
“Mmm fuck baby, M’ gonna cum on your cock again, gonna make a creamy little mess on you toru” you moaned out, your head falling back as you squeezed a handful of your bouncing tits, he whines eagerly at your exclamations. The pit of your stomach flutters as you came undone on your boyfriend's cock once again, your juices leaking all around his shaft as your pussy squeezes around him like a vice, at this point, Satoru’s cheeks were so flushed and feverish.
Your body collapsed onto his with his cock still nested and marinating in your warm, cum-filled pussy as you brushed the stands of stray hairs that veiled his eyes before planting a sweet, gentle kiss on his forehead. There for no doubt that Satoru wasn’t asleep right now, you could just tell from his breathing patterns and it was sooo adorable to you.
Maybe you’ll give him some time to wake up before round five orrr was it six? starts again.

When I'm With You I'm Home 'verse
won't somebody come take me home? // all the smiles that are ever gonna haunt me
Read On AO3
Life post-Void proved to be in turns exhilarating and challenging. Now, you were in an entirely different universe and with a completely different team. You had a family, dysfunctional and crazy, but still yours. And of course, most important of all, you had Logan.
The two of you were still navigating the first few unsure steps of your relationship. You were falling more and more in love with him with every passing second, and you couldn't help but catalog all the little differences that set him apart from the first Logan in your life. The other Logan, as you had started to think of him.
Before, you were used to an empty bed after sex and feeling like you were having to coerce the other Logan into anything approaching a meaningful conversation. Now, the new Logan in your life, the better Logan, pulled you close after you were both spent and held you all night long. He let you talk about whatever came to mind and offered his own feelings and views without ever once making you feel like he was merely tolerating having a conversation with you.
The other Logan never wanted to go out or spend any quality time together. He never brought you gifts or remembered your favorite foods or any other little thing that might have shown you he cared about you. Your Logan cooked for you and bought your favorite dessert and showed how much he truly cared about you in every tiny little interaction.
You navigated past awkward first dates into other stages of your relationship. You got to know your Logan, really know him, and that was something you never felt with the other Logan. You were always left unsure, wanting, longing with the other Logan, but your Logan made sure you were completely confident and fulfilled with your relationship.
Best of all, your Logan believed in you. In your universe, you had been relegated to the b-team of the X-Men, but now you felt like a valued member of whatever Wade called his team. Be it X-Force or X-Men adjacent, you knew that you could trust them, and they would have your back. You knew they didn't think your powers were useless and actually counted on you to help them. Logan had made sure of that.
"So, this Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and that's actually her name, you're sure?" You checked with Wade, waiting for his nod of agreement, before continuing. "She wants our help because your large metal friend is in trouble."
"Colossus, sure," Wade confirmed, checking over the guns he was bringing with him.
"Who's he even fighting?" You thought a guy who was solid steel would have trouble finding an enemy he couldn't just knock out with a punch.
"Some douchenozzle named Riptide, apparently," Wade informed you with a shrug of his shoulders. "He spins around and throws bones out of his body or something," he continued, sounding unbothered by the sheer absurdity of his words.
"Great," Logan huffed, keeping his eyes on the road. "We've got a human tornado on the loose."
When Logan pulled the car to a stop in the middle of a ruined street, you thought he wasn't too far off in his description. Cars were twisted on their sides and blood was splattered across various surfaces. Windows had shattered and stores were missing walls. You couldn't see anyone at first, but then you realized what you thought was another piece of a car was actually Wade's friend.
"There," you told him, pointing towards Colossus. He was currently lying in a crater, but you could see that he was slowly beginning to move.
"Fret not, my robust metal friend, I'm here to save your day," Wade called as he got out of the car.
You heard Colossus groan, and you couldn't even tell if it was because he was in pain or because of Wade.
"Think I can just drive away?" Logan asked, glancing over at you. "We can just leave him here, right? How long do you think it'll take before he shows up again?"
"Knowing Wade? Not very long," you answered, leaning over to press a kiss to Logan's cheek. "Let's get out there and do some vigilante shit or whatever Wade calls it."
"Trademark T-Swift!" Wade called, nodding approvingly at you.
"For fuck's sake," Logan groaned, before he slipped his cowl over his head and got out of the car. You felt a smirk tug at your lips at the sight before you and opted to stay in the car for just a moment as you watched Logan approach Wade and Colossus. He was starting to unsheathe his claws, and you couldn't help but take him in in all his glory.
That was another thing that your Logan was better at than the other Logan. You mentioned once that you found him sexy in the cowl and now he wore it every time you had to fight a bad guy.
You tried to tamp down on your grin as you got out of the car. When you approached the group, it sounded a lot like Wade was trying to get information out of Colossus.
“What the hell happened here? Did you eat Taco Bell again?” Wade asked, reaching out to pat Colossus’ stomach.
Colossus reached out to halt Wade’s touch. “The Riptide is a formidable opponent,” he answered.
You noticed a man dressed in a suit beginning to approach you and the others.
"Is that our guy?" You asked, pointing towards the man.
"Yes," Colossus confirmed with a solemn nod of his head. "And who are you?" He wondered, frowning at you.
"Y/N," you introduced yourself, holding out your hand for him to shake. You were intimidated by how huge and heavy his hand felt, but the gentle way he shook your hand put you at ease.
"Piotr Rasputin," he offered in return.
"Rasputin? I used to know a girl with that last name," you mused as you watched Riptide approach. You could see him begin to spin, gaining momentum and speed as he got closer.
"Stay back," Piotr warned, shaking his head. "Riptide is very deadly. He's already killed several today."
Piotr tensed his shoulders before running towards Riptide, only to be knocked back again.
"Oh, get up, you're embarrassing me," Wade hissed, reaching out to help Piotr up. "You took on the Juggernaut!" Wade reminded Piotr, grabbing him by the shoulders and attempting to shake some sense into him. "And you're telling me you can't take this walking Beyblade? Get back in there!" Wade commanded before giving Piotr a slap on the ass.
Piotr grumbled something under his breath before starting to approach Riptide again. As Riptide got closer, Piotr planted his feet and attempted to stay in place. You could see flakes of metal begin to chip off as he was pushed backwards and you realized that Riptide would rip Piotr apart if something wasn't done.
"Okay, new plan," Wade decided, pulling free one of his guns. He shot at Riptide, but every bullet was deflected, since he was spinning too fast for them to hit. "Fuck!" He barked before dropping the guns and grabbing his katana that had been strapped to his back. "Maximum effort," he grunted before running into battle.
Logan lowered himself to the ground before charging at Riptide. You saw him try to leap at Riptide, but he was thrown back, taking out a partially crumbled wall with him. Deadpool had managed to get a little closer, but it was only because you realized he was getting pulled in by the vacuum Riptide was creating. Wade was doing his best to slash and stab, but it might have been a little harder for him when his limbs were on the verge of being ripped away.
"Shit, shit, shit," you chanted as you moved forward. You held your hands out, concentrating on Riptide. You had only gotten better with your powers in the time that you had escaped from the Void. You had felt lighter, less burdened, and much more in touch with the push and pull of your forcefields and erasing yourself out of visible existence. Now, you could even make your forcefields invisible, where before they shown a faint blue, shimmering in the air.
Still, you didn't know if you could contain Riptide, but if you didn't do something soon, he would dismember Wade, flay Piotr, and you didn't even want to know what damage he could do to Logan.
You weren't going to let it get that far.
You watched Riptide's movements and began to form a forcefield around him, careful to make sure Wade wasn't ensnared as well. Riptide didn't seem to notice that anything was wrong until Wade dropped to the ground. You could see him begin to heal as he clutched at his arm where it was dangling from his shoulder, barely hanging on.
You were struggling to contain Riptide, but you were determined to keep him in the little bubble you had created for him. He hurled something at the forcefield and you could feel it like a hit to the chest, but you didn't let up. He began to spin faster, taking shots at his new prison, but not able to break it.
"Holy shit, girl," you heard Wade exclaim as he rushed to join you. "I've got to get you to hunt Pokémon with me sometime. I'm gonna get you to nab me a Tornadus."
"Shut up," Logan huffed as he walked over towards Piotr and helped him up.
"Not that I don't appreciate the support, but what the hell are we going to do with him? I can't do this forever."
Riptide was finally slowing down and you realized that he had a hand to his chest. He was panting and fell to his knees.
"He's running out of air," Logan pointed out, carefully approaching Riptide. "He sucked it all up in that vacuum he created."
"Okay, so let the little sucker suffocate," Wade bargained, rotating his newly healed arm.
There was a ripple in the air beside you and you turned to see someone stepping out of a portal.
You weren't really sure what you were expecting, but it certainly wasn’t a man who looked like he was dressed for war. He was wearing combat boots and had various weapons holstered to his thighs, waist, and chest. He had scars on his face and arms as well as a stony expression that would have deterred anyone from fucking with him. You weren't phased by that, but the metal arm and glowing left eye did give you a bit of pause.
The man reached into your forcefield with his metal arm and placed a collar around Riptide's neck. As Riptide slumped to the ground, drained, you brought a hand up to your chest. There was a dull ache that had taken up residence there that didn't go away until the man pulled his arm out of your forcefield. You had never seen anyone get through one of your forcefields before and you didn't like it.
You saw Piotr frown at your forcefield before curiously poking it with a finger. When he couldn't breach it, his brow furrowed in confusion.
The man turned to look at Piotr and gestured towards Riptide. "Do what you will with him. That collar should keep him from being a danger to anyone else."
"Who the hell is this guy?" You asked, defensive and still a little sore from the intrusion of your forcefield.
"An old buddy," Wade informed you, sounding oddly excited.
The guy turned towards you and approached you. "Y/N, you're coming with me," he continued, reaching out to grab your arm.
Logan lunged at him, stopping the stranger from making contact. "Like hell she is, bub. Who the fuck even are you?" Logan put himself between you and the guy, staring him down.
"Alright, alright, since both the big guys are bad at words, I'll speak here. Let's all just be friendly here," Wade instructed, stepping forward to put a hand on Logan's chest and the stranger's and push them just the tiniest bit away from each other. "This is Cable. He's the son of Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor, blah blah, genetic template for Stryfe, blah blah, something about Mr. Sinister and foreshadowing, infected with a techno-organic virus and a whole bunch of other mumbo jumbo Fred Savage told me." Wade took a step back until he was standing next to you and leaned in, lowering his voice. "Yes, that Fred Savage."
You stared at Wade in silence for a moment, trying to process all the information he had just dumped on you. You didn't know Scott had a kid and who the hell was Madelyne Pryor? And you had most definitely never heard of anyone who went by Mr. Sinister. But what you felt most important to ask was: "Who the fuck is Fred Savage?"
Wade gasped and turned to fully face you, ignoring the fact that Cable and Logan were still having a staring contest that would likely end in bloodshed. "You take that back right now or I'm getting that guy," he said, hooking a thumb over his shoulder to point towards Logan, "to spank you."
You felt a sly grin pull at your lips. You had felt off-kilter since Cable showed up and fucked with your forcefield, but bantering with Wade had become normal for you. This, at least, was familiar ground. You leaned towards him until you were close enough to almost feel his breath through his mask.
"Promise?" You whispered, winking at Wade when his eyes went wide.
"Ooh ho ho, I always took Logan for the brat in the bedroom, but you're just full of surprises, aren't you?"
You heard Logan let out an irritated growl, letting his claws show again, but he didn't take his eyes off Cable.
"We're versatile," you offered with a shrug of your shoulders.
"Oh, you're naughty, girl," Wade approved with a laugh. "I like you."
"Ditto," you conceded, knowing that it would annoy Logan more. Sometimes, you liked getting him all riled up, because it meant that once it was just the two of you alone, he would take you apart in all the right ways.
"Enough," Cable snapped, moving to sidestep Logan. He finally wrapped a hand around your arm, and you realized you couldn't even protect yourself with a forcefield, since he could just walk right through it. "Your universe isn't quite done with you yet, so you're coming with me."
You felt a spike of panic at the thought of going back to your universe. Your old life with your old team and old Logan and Jean and everyone who had left you devastated and broken. You could think of one or maybe two people you would want to see from your old universe, but not enough to actually go back there.
"No," you blurted, instinctively pushing Cable away from you with a forcefield.
He hadn't been expecting it, so he staggered back a couple steps, but it wasn't nearly as far away from you as you wanted him.
Logan lunged at Cable, sinking his claws into his arm. Cable was quick to throw him off and you saw Logan start towards him again, when Piotr cut in.
"Perhaps it's better if you take this somewhere else," he advised, bringing attention to the small crowd you had attracted.
Cable scowled at Logan before considering his arm. For someone who had just been simultaneously stabbed three times and was now bleeding, he didn't seem all that concerned about the damage.
"Fine," he allowed with a look at Wade. "Let's take this back to your place."
Wade opened his mouth, but Logan shot him a look that dissuaded him from talking, and Wade let out a heavy sigh. "Ugh alright," he groaned, "but you owe me a double entendre. Also, you're driving," Wade told Logan before making his way back to the SUV.
Logan kept an eye on Cable as he nodded towards the vehicle, silently prompting you to follow Wade. Wade tried to take the passenger seat, but you were quick to steal it from him. If Logan was going to be driving, then there was no way in hell you were sitting in the backseat with Cable. You were worried he would find a way to simply reach out and steal you away, stranding you in your worst nightmare.
At least with Logan right by your side, you would feel safe. You always felt safe with him.
The drive back to Wade's apartment was awkward with tension and unspoken concerns. Wade was bouncing nervously in his seat and he kept trying to get Cable to talk about where he had been the past few years. Logan was gripping the steering wheel so tight that you were surprised it hadn't broken off in his grasp. And you were just keeping your breathing steady and trying to quell your racing heart.
You didn't know anything, you reminded yourself. Maybe you misunderstood. Maybe Cable misspoke. Either way, you knew that Logan wouldn't let you go back to your old universe. Not without a fight and certainly not alone.
You reached over to grab one of Logan's hands, grateful when he unclenched it from the steering wheel. He let you hold onto him like a lifeline, keeping his eyes on the road even though you knew his thoughts were on you.
You felt the weight of someone's stare and turned to see Cable watching you from the backseat.
"What," you snapped.
Cable didn't say anything, but you had a feeling he knew more about you than you wanted him to.
By the time you were sitting at Wade's table, Logan to your right, Wade to your left, and Cable opposite you, you were starting to get the creeping sense that something had gone horribly wrong.
"So, I think I can finally speak for all of us when I ask what the hell are you doing here? Not that I'm not thrilled to get a reunion, surprise cameos are my favorite, but I got the impression you weren't ever coming back," Wade pointed out, leaning in towards Cable.
Cable quirked an eyebrow at him, clearly unimpressed, but he still deigned to answer Wade.
"I've been tasked by the TVA to clean up a problem in Y/N's original universe. If she had stayed, it would have been taken care of, but now that universe's Wolverine has been captured by a man known as Omega Red."
"Omega Red? That's this shitstick's name? Wow, he is such a pick-me girl, you know what I'm saying?" Wade asked Logan, shooting him a conspiratorial look.
"I never know what the fuck you're talking about," Logan shot back, looking pissed off, but not necessarily with Wade. You realized Logan was worried for you and the prospect of you having to see the Logan who broke your heart and left you for Jean.
"Didn't know I picked up an Old Man Logan, am I right?" Wade muttered to you, nudging you in the side with his elbow while he held his other hand up in the air, palm facing you in a silent request for a high five.
You shook your head, aware that Logan was watching, but you discreetly held out your hand palm up behind your back, making him settle for a low five out of Logan's view. You were grateful for Wade's distraction, but you had already made up your mind.
You leaned back in your seat, crossing your arms over your chest, and shook your head. "It's not my fucking problem."
"We need your abilities," Cable argued, his gaze unerringly on you. "Omega Red releases death spores when injured. He heals himself by draining everyone around him. Someone who can sneak up on him and trap him with a forcefield could save a lot of people. We just need you to incapacitate him."
"Then get Sue Storm," you told him, refusing to budge.
"She's dead," Cable grunted, visibly getting more annoyed by the second.
"You must not be hearing me," you admonished him, your voice edged with steel. "That's not my fucking problem. If they needed me there, then they should have fucking left me there. But they dropped me in the Void, so this is on them. I’m staying here."
Cable let out a chuckle that wasn't anywhere near amused. "The TVA thought you might feel that way and they're prepared to make a deal."
"What kind of deal?" Logan asked, shooting you a wary glance.
"If Y/N does this, then they'll let her stay here permanently."
You felt a little jolt of fear spike through you at the idea that what you had now was only temporary. The TVA held a terrifying amount of power, and they could rip the life you had built yourself right out of your hands.
"And what if she doesn't?" Wade wondered, his tone finally drifting closer to something serious. It was the voice he used when he knew shit was about to hit the fan and he was wondering who he was going to have to kill first. You knew Logan was protective of you, but hearing it from Wade made the chill that had swept over you with Cable's warning start to abate. You were flanked by two people you could count on to have your back and you couldn’t have been more grateful for them.
"If she doesn't, then the TVA will prune her again. Or they'll strand her in her last universe with no way home. Or they'll hand her over to Alioth. Who knows what they've got on their mind?"
Cable sounded like he was done with the whole thing and you were beginning to wonder if the TVA had something on him to make him work with them.
"All I know," he continued, meeting your eyes, "is that your forcefields are unique. They're not only psionic, but they're damn near invulnerable."
"You could reach through it," you pointed out, absentmindedly bringing a hand up to your chest. It had felt like an invasion, something so inherently wrong that it had affected you physically.
"Eventually, I won't be able to," Cable told you. "You're getting stronger all the time and there will come a day when you'll be able to use them to block out a telepath of even Charles Xavier's strength."
"Damn," Wade muttered, shooting you an appraising look, as if he was seeing something new in you.
"This Omega Red guy can't regenerate in one of your forcefields, so he won't be able to harm anyone trying to save his own skin. He's smart, though. He's a super soldier who's been highly trained in hand-to-hand combat and a skilled military tactician."
"So, what's he want with big and angry over here?" Wade asked, pointing a finger at Wolverine. "What'd he do to piss the guy off?"
"He believes that universe's Logan knows where to find a Carbonadium Synthesizer. He has Carbonadium tentacles--"
"I'm sorry," Wade interrupted, holding up a hand. "This guy is living, breathing tentacle porn and you want us to kill him? Get him in a bare-chested wrestling match with Doc Ock and you'll make millions."
"Wade," you groaned, barely resisting the urge to hit your head on the table. "So, he wants this synthesizer thing and he thinks that the other Logan has it? Is this just a rescue mission or are we doing something else here?"
"I'll escort you to protect you and take him down, but he does know a way around my defenses," Cable admitted with a gruff, resigned voice. "If we can mortally wound him and you trap him in a forcefield before he can regenerate, then the problem is solved. Forever," Cable pointed out.
"If I do this," you started, hating that there was a strong possibility there was no way around seeing the other Logan again. "Then that's it. No more threats or taking me back. Whatever debt they think I have is settled, alright? I get to stay here and be happy here and never see those people again," your voice shook on the last word and Logan reached out to put a hand on your thigh, silently attempting to comfort you.
Cable nodded his head, reaching his hand across the table. "I believe we have a deal."
You reluctantly grabbed his hand, letting him shake yours, before you let go. "Then I'll go with you."
"Hold on," Logan cut in, finally speaking again. "This Omega Red knows how to take you out, so there's no guarantee that you can keep Y/N safe. If she's going back to that place, then I'm going with her."
"But Omega Red knows how to take you down too," Wade reminded Logan. "So, obviously, you're gonna need the merc with a mouth and I know just where to find him."
"No," Cable tried to deny, but Wade was quick to talk over him.
"Road trip!" He exclaimed, jumping up from his seat. "I've got to pack," he said, clapping his hands together in excitement, before skipping over towards his room.
"We need a moment," Logan told Cable before he grabbed your hand and pulled you up out of your chair. You followed Logan, in a bit of a daze, until he got to the door of Wade's apartment. He pulled it open, tugging you out into the hallway, before firmly closing the door behind him. "Are you okay?"
You shrugged your shoulders, twisting your mouth to the side in an attempt to keep yourself from crying. You could still feel that weight in your throat, threatening to make whatever words you decided to speak choked and broken.
Logan seemed to know, though, without you even having to speak a word. He wrapped his arms around you, allowing you to rest your head under his chin. You felt like he was trying to protect you from the world and you had no doubt that he would kill Cable and run off with you if that was what you wanted. But you didn't want the TVA to track you down and throw you back in the Void. Or worse, strand you in your original universe, where your heartache would surely destroy you.
You knew what it was like to be loved now, and you couldn't go back to a place without it.
"What're we going to tell Laura?" You couldn't help but ask, refusing to pick your head up to look at him.
"Someone's got to keep an eye on the place," Logan mused, pressing a kiss on the top of your head. "She'll be fine."
"Yeah," you sighed, reaching up to grab fistfuls of Logan's shirt, practically begging him to stay right there with you. "I don't want to see him again. Or her. I just, I think of how it ended and how practically no one cared that I was hurting. They were happy for the new couple and I was left in my room in the mansion, wondering how I had ended up completely alone."
"You're not alone anymore," Logan promised, gathering you closer to him. "And I'm not going to let either one of them make you feel that way again."
"Okay," you agreed, pulling away from Logan when you heard Wade's voice approaching the door. You hastily wiped away the tear that had managed to escape your control.
"I've got everything ready and loaded," he was saying as he opened the door. "So, let's get this universe hop on the road and spear us a kraken."
Cable looked resigned as he joined Wade and you couldn't help the briefest smile at his long-suffering sigh.
"I was only cleared for two," he pointed out, but he still reached out to put a hand on Wade's shoulder.
"Wait," you said, brushing past Cable to get back into Wade's apartment. You scribbled out a note, hoping that if Laura went looking for you or Logan, then she would find it. You stared down at the words, trying to make yourself believe them, and then rejoined the others.
Gone out to save some asshole. Be home soon.
"Let's get this shit over with," you told Cable, reaching out to grab Logan's hand just as the hallway outside Wade's apartment shimmered and disappeared.
There was a brief moment where it felt like everything got flipped upside down and your vision blurred before the picture in front of you finally smoothed out into something recognizable.
You were met with the sight of the X-Mansion and you felt sick to your stomach. The place that used to be your favorite place in all the world, where you felt saved, had turned into the setting for your nightmares.
You felt Logan go stiff at your side and you glanced up to see what had caught his attention. Logan growled and moved to place himself in front of you, shielding you from the man on the path leading up to the front doors.
You saw the satisfied smile on the man's face and pushed past Logan, rushing towards him. Logan tried to reach out for you, but you evaded his grasp, knowing you weren't in any danger.
"Erik," you greeted, practically running into his arms when he held them out to embrace you.
"Where have you been all this time? I've missed you," he murmured, pulling you close for a moment before letting you go. "It hasn't been the same without you here." His gaze flickered to over your shoulder, and he quirked an eyebrow at what he saw there. "I see you've brought another brute with you. You know you can do much better," he pointed out.
"No, I can't," you denied, looking over your shoulder to see Logan and Wade looking completely gobsmacked to see you so friendly with Erik. “And it’s a really long story, but I promise I'm in a much better place now,” you assured him.
Erik narrowed his eyes at you, as if he was trying to figure out if you were telling the truth or not.
"You're friends with Magneto?" Wade wondered, sounding like he was still trying to put the pieces together in his head. “Magneto?!”
"Does Charles know you're here?" Logan snarled at Erik, finally advancing on the pair of you.
You couldn't help but laugh, sharing an amused grin with Erik. "I should hope so," you told Logan. "Since they're married," you finished, watching as Logan's eyes went wide with surprise again.
Wade groaned and dropped his head into his hands. "There's a universe where I could've had a chance with daddy Fassbender here? What the fuck," he moaned before he reached out to smack Cable on the shoulder. “Why didn’t you take me here sooner?”
Cable rolled his eyes, pushing Wade away from him, before he addressed Erik. "We need the X-Jet."
Erik ignored Cable and looked at you. "You're working with them?" From the disdain in his voice, you knew Erik was moments away from insulting the others, so you quickly nodded your head.
"They're my friends. More," you amended with a look at Logan. "And we have to go rescue your Wolverine because apparently I'm the only one who can do it without casualties. And if I do this, then I never have to come back here." You shared a look with Erik, knowing that he would be able to tell that was what you wanted more than anything. You no longer considered this place your home and you desperately wanted to go back to where you knew you really belonged.
Erik watched you in silence for a moment before he finally dipped his head in a nod. He reached out to put a hand on your shoulder, ignoring Logan's snarl, and gifted you with a smile. "If you're truly happier with them, then I'll do what I can to help you."
You leaned forward and pulled Erik into another hug. He had been one of the only people you felt like you could count on and while Charles had always seemed to have a soft spot for Logan, Erik had one for you. When you were heartbroken, refusing to leave your room, he had been the one to offer to strip all the metal from Logan's body and encage him in an adamantium prison he would never escape. You had declined the offer, even if you had certainly appreciated it at the time.
"How did you get to be so chummy with Magneto?" Wade questioned you when you were on the X-Jet and on the way to Berlin to rescue the other Logan and take down Omega Red. "He's only one of the most well-known villains in the Marvel universe and there you were hugging him like you were old pals."
You shrugged your shoulders, not entirely understanding what Wade was talking about, but then that wasn't exactly a novel experience for you where he was concerned. "He's fought Charles and the X-Men on occasion, sure, but I don't know. I guess after years of going back and forth, they realized they were in love and didn't want to keep fighting it anymore. They figured they had both suffered enough at the hands of the other and gave in to what was inevitable." You remembered Erik telling you about chess dates in Paris and heated arguments that turned into something more. "And Erik always understood me. He was really the only one in the mansion I could count on when everyone else saw me as expendable."
"Huh," Wade mused, leaning back in his seat. "So, is it an open marriage or--?"
"We're almost there," Cable called, cutting Wade off. "Five minutes."
Logan cleared his throat, glaring at Wade until he finally got the hint and joined Cable in the cockpit.
"This Omega Red guy," Logan started, squinting his eyes like he thought the name was stupid, but continued, "he sounds like a big deal. If it starts going south, I want you to get the hell out of there."
"If anyone's in danger here, it's you," you pointed out. "He's already taken out one Wolverine and I don't want him thinking he can take you too. If he also manages to fuck with Cable again, then the only thing that's going to keep this plan on track is Wade and me. So, if it looks like he's going after you, then I don't want to risk you. I’d rather you be the one to get the hell out of there."
Logan's brow furrowed in frustration. "I'll regenerate," he reminded you. "This guy's got death spores, whatever the hell those are, and a track record of killing everyone around him to save himself. I feel like I'm finally in a place where I can breathe again and if he takes you away," he abruptly stopped talking, clenching his jaw to quell the despair that had leaked into his tone. "If he takes you away, then I go back to being that guy Wade found passed out in a bar and ready to take a bullet to the skull just to make it all end for a while. Don't make me be that guy again," he begged, reaching out to grab your hand and keeping it tight in his hold.
"So, then we both promise not to die," you tried, not knowing how to navigate forward. Logan had been vulnerable with you before. He wasn't scared to let you know what was on his mind and you knew he trusted you more than anyone, but hearing about how broken he had been before Wade whisked him off to his universe had despair clawing at your heart. You knew you would be a mess without Logan, but you never seemed to realize just how much he needed you. "And then we can go back home and we can forget all about this place."
Logan squeezed your hand before he nodded his head. "Alright," he sighed before moving to stand up, pulling you with him. "Let's fucking get this over with, then."
It only took ten minutes for you to realize that Cable might have been holding back when he was talking about the danger Omega Red posed. Cable warned that Omega Red was smart, but he was such a skilled fighter that he was able to fight Logan, Wade, and Cable without sustaining any significant damage.
You were keeping an eye on the fight, because you had been warned not to get too close until you were needed. You were waiting for any sign that Omega Red might be on the brink of death, but you got distracted when you noticed that the lab where you found Omega Red also had another room hidden at the back. You made your way towards the door, climbing over a desk and evading Cable when he got thrown across the room, landing in front of you.
Cable barely spared you a glance, taking a moment to check his weapon before joining the fight again. You could hear Wade taunting Omega Red and Logan yelling at him to get out of the way and Cable taking shot after shot. Pandemonium had fully engulfed the room, but you tuned it all out, drawn in by the mystery of the room.
You found yourself at the door and there was a feeling in your gut that told you exactly what you were about to find, but you needed to see for yourself.
You took a deep breath, wincing at the sound of someone's bone breaking and a frustrated scream echoing through the lab, and opened the door.
He was lying on a bed, passed out and blissfully unaware of the war waging in the next room and inside your head. You had hoped that you would never have to see him again, but now he looked so harmless when his eyes were closed and he wasn't leaving you for someone else.
"Y/N!" You heard Wade shout in warning, and you turned in time to see one of the tentacles from Omega Red heading right towards you. You were quick to let yourself become invisible before rushing into the room, narrowly avoiding getting pierced through the chest.
The tentacle retreated and you dared a look out of the room, catching sight of Cable on the floor, unmoving. Wade was doing what he did best, never staying still and taking any shot he could, but Omega Red now had his full attention on your Logan.
He was ruthless, going after him again and again, and you could see blood staining Logan's suit. You stepped into the room, circling the fight and waiting for your chance. You knew if it came down to it, then you would throw the whole plan out just to save Logan. But you believed in him, and sure enough, when Wade slashed at Omega Red's ankles, bringing him down to the floor, Logan stuck his claws in his throat. He shot his arm up, slicing Omega Red's lower jaw to ribbons, and quickly stepped back.
You formed the forcefield around Omega Red, pouring all of your concentration into the task. Omega Red let out a laugh, blood spilling from his throat freely. He didn't move, but you could feel something pulling at your forcefield. You remembered what Cable told you about Omega Red draining people to heal himself and you knew he was trying to do that to you.
All you had to do was outlast him.
Omega Red turned his gaze on you, still smiling as if he thought the whole situation was hilarious. You were steadily building up your forcefield, terrified that he would manage to pull it down. Omega Red finally stopped smiling and his hand went up to his neck, studying the blood that coated his fingers. You saw him sway, but that seemed to only steel his resolve, and he pulled on your forcefield again.
Wade was trying to rouse Cable, but Logan was steadily watching you. You thought about him and what was in store for you once you succeeded. Logan and a home and a family and no fear. No longing and pain and insecurity. No more wondering if you would wake up one day, stuck in an empty room, with a team that had betrayed you.
You had everything you wanted with Logan and you would be damned if you lost it all now.
Your forcefield held steady, and even though you could see Omega Red waver, it seemed he still had one last trick up his sleeve. A cloud formed around him and became so thick that you could no longer see him. You had a moment to wonder if those were the death spores Cable had mentioned before you felt like someone had poured fire right down your throat and into your chest.
You gasped, barely catching yourself from stumbling. Logan took a hesitant step towards you but you shook your head. You couldn't afford the distraction and there was no way in hell you were letting your forcefield down now. Omega Red seemed hellbent on mutually assured destruction and you didn't want to give him the satisfaction.
So, you held on with just the thought of Logan in your mind. You pushed past the pain and the black spots in your vision and concentrated on keeping your end of the bargain that would see you finally getting the happy ending you deserved.
After what felt like hours of Omega Red pumping out poison in an effort to escape, you noticed that the spores began to lighten and disperse. Omega Red was slumped on the floor, his gaze fixed on the ceiling of the lab. He wasn't moving and he wasn't breathing and he wasn't alive anymore.
You held on for just a moment longer, sure it was some kind of trick, before you finally let your forcefield drop. You didn't realize you were on the floor, staring up at the ceiling in a daze, until someone was standing over you.
"Y/N," Logan called before he crouched down, cupping your cheek in his hand. "Are you okay?"
You offered him a smile, shaky and uncertain, before you managed to nod your head. "I'm alive," you croaked, feeling your chest tighten for a moment, before the pressure relented. It was then you got a better look at the Logan staring down at you and you realized he was entirely wrong. "Ugh," you groaned before you weakly pushed his hand away. "Get the fuck away from me," you ordered, searching for your Logan.
It turned out he wasn't far, because one moment the wrong Logan was there hovering over you and the next he was on the floor. Logan pulled his claws from the other Logan's sides with a snarl before turning towards you. His expression quickly morphed from rage to concern. He dropped to his knees, his hand trembling as he pulled you up, letting you lean on him.
"That was too close," he muttered, pressing a kiss to your temple. "Can you stand?"
You shook your head, looking up at your Logan.
"C'mon," he coaxed, slowly but surely standing with you in his arms. You rested your head on his shoulder, your eyes slipping closed, finally feeling safe again.
“Way to go,” you heard Wade crow as he approached.
You squinted at him, seeing he had Cable’s arm around his shoulders and was doing his best to support him.
“Like, seriously, I thought we were all moments away from becoming extras in The Last Of Us. I was entirely ready for Pedro Pascal to bust in and shoot me in the head for inhaling the spores, but you did it. Hey, you don’t look so good,” Wade observed, tilting his head to the side. “You doing alright?”
“Fine,” you rasped, glancing up at Logan. “I wanna go home.”
Logan nodded his head, turning his attention towards Cable. “Think you can still pilot like that?”
Cable grunted in discomfort as he stood, shaking off Wade’s help. “I’ve had worse. Let’s just get the fuck out of here,” he said before making his way towards the exit.
Logan started walking, doing his best not to jostle you too much in his arms. You could hear the slow shuffle of footsteps trailing after the group and you knew the other Logan was reluctantly following.
Your Logan glanced down at you, frowning at you in concern. “Stay with me, alright?”
You blearily nodded your head, feeling exhaustion creep up on you. You had never fought so hard to keep one of your forcefields up and you knew the only reason you had managed it was because of Logan. He believed in you. He loved you. He cared about you. All of that and more had given you the fire you needed to keep Omega Red contained.
"I can't believe you were ever considered the worst one," you whispered, knowing Logan would still hear you. "Not when he exists," you continued, reaching up to trace your fingers over his lips. You gently tapped your fingers against them, smiling when that only served to get a huff of laughter from him. "You're the best Logan," you assured him before you finally allowed yourself to pass out.
Consciousness returned and fled from you, bringing you little bits of awareness. Logan carrying you back to the X-Jet and the other Logan trailing behind, a scowl on his face. Wade splayed out across multiple seats and singing showtunes to the other Logan. Logan's arm around you and Cable calling out that you had arrived. The hallways of the X-Mansion and Erik's voice ahead of you. A bed and a warm weight around your waist and a kiss to your forehead.
The next time you woke, it was to a sight you had hoped to never see again.
"Is this my room?" You grumbled, turning an accusing look up at Logan.
He was sitting beside you on the bed and you knew without a doubt that he had never left your side. He held a book in one hand and the other had been resting on your back, keeping you held close with your head pillowed on his thigh. He set the book down on the nightstand, being careful not to move you.
"It is," Logan confirmed before reaching for you. You let him pull you further into his side and tucked your head up under his chin.
"What time is it?" You wondered, glancing at the curtains and the glimpse of darkness outside.
"A little after ten," Logan answered, lightly running his fingers up and down your back.
"I don't want to be here," you told him, pushing away from him to sit up. "I hate being in this room and all of the memories and--" You abruptly stopped talking, dropping your head in your hands. You squeezed your eyes shut, trying to block out unwanted memories that threatened to overwhelm you. Curling up on the bed, clutching a pillow to your chest, tears running down your cheeks. Sobs choking you, hearing everyone's whispers, dodging their stares. You had felt so alone despite Erik’s sympathy and now your chest felt heavy with the memory.
"Hey," Logan murmured, reaching out to pull you back towards him. "We can leave as soon as Cable gets back. He dropped us here so he could go talk to the TVA and then he's taking us back. We're not staying," he assured you, his hands going to your shoulders and turning you until you could meet his eyes. "We're going home," he promised once he knew he had your full attention.
You nodded your head, but you could feel that creeping sense of doubt begin to take hold. Somewhere in the mansion, Jean was fussing over Logan and they were in love and didn't give a fuck about what they put you through. It killed you, just the tiniest bit, that they were no doubt happy together.
Suddenly, you were on your back, staring up at the ceiling. Logan caged you in with his arms, lowering his body on top of yours. "I think," he started, brushing his lips against yours. "It's time to make new memories here. Better memories," he amended with a smirk.
You felt a smile tug at your lips as you raised your head enough to kiss him. It felt like coming home in the best way and you knew that you couldn't let the past overwrite the present.
Logan pressed his lips to yours, his hands tightening in the bedsheets at your sides. The kiss grew hungry and consuming, Logan nipping at your lips and begging entrance with his tongue.
You let him in and Logan set about claiming you, groaning into your mouth when you gave back everything he was giving you. You felt his hands settle on your hips before they swept up, beginning to inch your shirt higher.
Logan broke away from the kiss to plant one on your bottom lip, chin, jaw. He bit kisses into the underside of you jaw and the sensitive spot behind your ear that he knew would make you crazy. You grabbed fistfuls of his shirt and pulled, silently begging for him to take it off. You wanted to feel all of him, everything, all that you could get.
"I couldn't stand it," he growled, refusing to move as he continued to mark your skin. "Seeing his hands on you and the way you reached for him, thinking it was me. I wanted to rip him apart," he snarled before finally pulling back.
He pulled his shirt over his head and helped you do the same. His fingers brushed against your stomach before trailing down to the button of your pants. You nodded your head, giving him permission, eager to feel all of him again. It didn't take long before you were both fully bared to each other, ready to lose yourselves together.
"He's never going to touch you again," Logan promised, his hands drifting over your sides, hips, thighs. "No one but me," he continued before he pressed a kiss to your collarbone. He lightly scraped his teeth along the skin there before pulling it into his mouth, soothing the sting with his tongue.
"Logan," you breathed, feeling like you were coming back to life. You couldn't believe you had just felt so unwanted and unloved when you had Logan ready to stake a claim on every inch of you. "No one but you," you agreed as he worked his way lower, slowly kissing a path down from your neck to your chest and then stomach. You could feel the low, pleased rumble in his chest, knowing that he was driving you absolutely crazy. You wanted to move closer to him to try to urge him along, but you couldn’t. He was gripping your hips, making sure you stayed exactly where he wanted you.
He pressed a kiss to one of your hips and then the other. He looked at you, staring at you from between your thighs, before you saw his lips tick up with a devastating smirk. He reached up to grab one of your hands and placed it in his hair. "Hold on," he commanded, barely giving you time to grip the strands in your grasp before he lowered his head and began to take you apart.
Hours later, you were on round four or five, you had honestly lost count, but you knew you were lost in a state of euphoria. Logan's hands were on your hips and he was buried in you, but he was staying still, simply taking in the sight of you beneath him. You knew you must have looked like a complete and total wreck. Your spine felt like it had melted right into the mattress and your mind was a mush of thoughts all focused on pleasure and Logan and love and want.
There were marks littering your chest and stomach and thighs. You felt overly sensitive in all the right places and you knew that you were going to be incredibly sore later on, but you didn’t care. Right now, Logan looked just like you felt and you loved that you had been the one to have that effect on him.
"C'mon," you urged, pulling at his shoulders and bucking your hips up into his in an effort to get him to move. “I’m so close.”
He reached up a hand to cup the side of your face before he shook his head. "Say it," he demanded, a growl in his voice.
"Say what?" You wondered, even though you knew exactly what he wanted. It wasn't the first time he had asked you for it that night and you couldn't help teasing him just the slightest.
"You know," he admonished, pulling out enough so he was just barely inside you. You felt your thighs begin to tremble and you tried to tighten them around his waist, but he stayed firm. "Say it," he repeated, leaning forward to press a kiss to your neck. He pressed fully back inside you as his teeth scraped the mark he had left just behind your ear.
"Logan," you whimpered, clutching at his back, your nails claiming temporary marks on his skin.
"Louder," he ordered, pulling out before burying himself inside you again.
A delicious heat was traveling down your spine and settling low, shooting off little zings of pleasure that had you half insane with the need to fall right back over that edge again. Logan had been incredibly attentive all night and now you were rounding the track again, the home stretch just barely within your reach. He began to bite kisses into your neck and down your chest, before he started up a maddening pace with his hips, and you could feel yourself begin to fall again.
"Ah, fuck, Logan," you moaned, not even caring how loud you were being now. You clutched at him, lost and seeking a lifeline, trusting him to see you through to the end.
He worked his kisses back up until he had his face in the crook of your neck. You could tell just from the feel of his lips that he was smirking, pleased with you.
"Good," he murmured before he flipped you both over, letting you be on top. His hands trailed up your sides before settling back on your hips. "You're mine," he grunted, holding on to you as he pressed his hips up, seeking his own release. "You're mine, you're mine, you're mine," he chanted as he lost himself inside you again.
After, when he had his arm wrapped around you and your head was resting on his chest, he trailed a hand lightly along your back. You shivered and pressed yourself closer to him, glad when he pulled the sheet tighter around the both of you. You felt sore and sated, the last few hours completely erasing and rewriting the history of the room. Now, you looked at the walls and didn't think of how they had witnessed your desolation, but now knew of the way you were loved. Gone were the memories of tears, replaced with the echoes of your pleasure.
Logan had done exactly what he told you he would. He created new memories for you and you were so dizzyingly in love with him that you couldn't help but squeeze his hip, letting him know you were still there with him.
"I meant what I said, you know," he told you, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. "You're mine now and I'd never let you come back here to him. To any of them. Because I'm yours too," he continued, finally letting his hand rest between your shoulder blades. "We belong to each other."
You managed to look up at him despite the way sleep was trying to drag you down. "Promise?" You couldn't help but check, knowing that he had well and truly ruined you for anyone else.
"With all my heart," he confirmed, his tone sincere.
"Good," you murmured, already beginning to slip off to sleep. "Love you," you managed to get out before sleep rushed up to claim you.
You never heard him say that he loved you back, but you felt it just the same.
In the morning, you woke to an empty bed. Before, if it was you in this bed with the other Logan, you might have worried that he left you because he didn't care about you enough to stick around, but you didn't have to worry about that now. Your Logan was nothing like the one from your original universe and he would never do that to you.
You got out of bed and pulled your clothes back on. There was a rip near the right hip of your pants where Logan had been a little too eager to rid you of them. You didn't care what you looked like as you shuffled out of your old room, rumpled and content. It wasn’t like you planned on sticking around for much longer and there was no way in hell you ever planned on coming back.
You followed the sound of voices to the kitchen. You froze at the entryway when you noticed the other Logan leaning against the counter, glaring down at a cup of coffee. His arm was wrapped around Jean's waist, his hand splayed protectively over the bump under her shirt.
It felt like a punch in the gut to see Jean pregnant. They didn't waste a second, you couldn't help but think, and when Jean turned to look at you, you realized she caught that. You thought about what Cable told you, that your forcefields would eventually shut out telepaths, and you imagined one of them closing around your mind. You didn’t want anything projecting out that she might be able to hear. When Jean flinched and hurriedly looked away, you knew that it had worked, if even for a moment.
You sneered at her back, ready to get the hell out of the room and retreat, when you heard someone call your name. Wade was sitting at the kitchen table, a pile of pancakes in front of him, while your Logan watched you with a warm, inviting smile.
Wade began to wave at you, as if he thought you wouldn't be able to see him.
"Over here," he called, reaching out to pat the chair beside him. "Saved you a seat," he offered, turning his attention back to his food. He still had his mask on, but it was rolled up so his mouth was free, and he could shovel forkfuls of pancakes into his mouth at a speed that was starting to make you nauseous.
"Here," Logan murmured, sliding over a cup of coffee once you sat down.
You took a sip, savoring the taste, and offered him a smile. "Just how I like it," you told him, leaning over for a brief kiss.
You heard someone clear their throat and you glanced over to see the other Logan staring at you. He looked as if he was waiting for something, but you had no idea what he might expect from you. If you had your way, you wouldn’t even be in the room, but the buffer of Wade’s rambling mouth and presence of your Logan were the only things keeping you rooted to your spot.
"You look a little tired, there, Wolvie," Wade observed as he let his fork clatter down on the empty plate. He pulled his mask back down and rolled his shoulders, as if he was getting ready for a fight.
"Don't call me that," the other Logan snapped, taking a step away from Jean.
"Well, what else can I call you? Logan Two?" He tried, shaking his head. "No, that's not right. Maybe Loser? That seems to fit you better."
"Shut the hell up," the other Logan spat and you saw Jean roll her eyes before leaving the room.
You couldn't help but feel lighter without her there. You hated to admit it, even to yourself, but you felt insecure with her anywhere around your Logan. It only helped that your Logan had spent the last few minutes with his hand on your thigh and his attention focused on you. He reached out to gently press his thumb to the underside of your jaw, briefly caressing the mark he had left there the night before.
“Can’t wait to get you home,” your Logan murmured, a wicked smirk on his face that sent a shiver of anticipation down your spine.
You heard something shatter and glanced over to see the other Logan clutching a broken cup and coffee splattered on the floor beneath him.
"What's wrong there, Wolvie? Didn't get enough sleep last night?" Wade asked, adopting a faux concerned tone.
"No," the other Logan growled, shooting a scowl at your Logan. "I didn't."
Your Logan gave the other Logan a pleased, smug grin before taking a sip of your coffee. "Funny," he started, before setting the cup down and staring him down across the kitchen. "Can't say I slept much last night, either," he claimed, bringing his arm up to rest along the back of your chair.
Your only warning was a snarl of rage before you felt your chair tip back and you were on the floor. The other Logan had rushed at your Logan and threw him into the table. The table buckled and collapsed and you used a forcefield to push back the other Logan. He looked betrayed for a moment and you couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of that before your Logan lunged at him.
You lost track of the fight, both of them frenzied and enraged. There was blood sprayed across the tiles and a crack in the counter where the other Logan had been thrown. The fight ended with your Logan's claws stuck in the other Logan's chest and Wade standing behind the other Logan, his katanas crossed over his throat, ready to decapitate him if needed.
"I can't leave you anywhere, can I?" Cable interrupted, sounding resigned. You didn’t even notice him appear, you had been so invested in the fight and making sure your Logan or Wade didn’t get seriously hurt. "Come on," he continued, "it's time to get you three back home."
Hearing Cable call Wade's universe your home gave you all the motivation you needed to walk forward and put your hand on your Logan's shoulder. "Hey," you whispered, knowing he was listening to you even though he was still glaring at the other Logan. You also had the other Logan's attention, which made what you said next even sweeter. "I'm happier with you," you reminded your Logan. "And I don't want him anymore," you said, meeting the other Logan's eyes.
You saw the shock in his expression fade into fury, but he knew he was trapped. Still, he snarled and jerked in your Logan's hold, blood beginning to drip from where Wade's blades had sliced into his skin.
"Goodbye," you told him, even if you didn't think he deserved that much from you.
The other Logan didn't respond, but from the look on his face, you knew he got the real message. You were completely done with him.
You let your hand drift down from your Logan’s shoulder to his arm, prompting him to finally pull his claws out of the other Logan's chest. He took a step back, staring the other Logan down, before he turned to you. He wrapped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you into his side.
"Let's go home," he told you, beginning to usher you over towards Cable.
You didn't spare a glance at the other Logan, not wanting to look back. You knew that it was much better to keep your focus on your future ahead with your Logan and not on what or who you were leaving behind.
When you finally got back to Wade's universe, Cable turned to face you.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a folded piece of paper. "Here," he said, waiting for you take it from him. "There's no going back now," he warned you. "I made sure to get it in writing for you."
You skimmed the piece of paper, feeling a smile tug at your lips.
"What's it say?" Wade wondered, reaching out to pluck the paper out of your hands. After a moment, he chuckled before looking at Cable. "You big 'ol softie," he said before slapping the paper to Logan's chest, barely waiting for him to grab it before he threw his arms wide. "Group hug," he said before sweeping you into an embrace with Cable. "C'mon, Logan, get in on this."
You couldn't help the laugh that bubbled out of your throat. Wade was ridiculous, but you appreciated his sentiment. Cable released a heavy sigh before extracting himself from Wade's hold.
"Good luck," he told you, before beginning to turn a dial on the device strapped to his forearm. "I think you're going to need it."
And then he was gone, leaving you to pat Wade on the back and step into Logan's arms. You felt lighter, freer, after reading the paper that confirmed that the TVA wouldn't be sending you back to your old universe. You truly were free to forget all about your old life and focus on your new one.
You pulled away just enough to frame Logan's face in your hands before you pulled him in for a kiss. It had taken you heartbreak and pain and a whole host of other terrible things to get you where you belonged with the right Logan, but you wouldn't have traded the experience for anything.
Now, all you had to do was make sure you held on tight and refused to let go. From the way Logan kept you in his arms, a relieved smile on his face, you knew he felt the same.
Neither one of you was willing to lose what you had gained without one hell of a fight.
Later, you would remember that moment when you were in Logan’s arms while he tried and failed to keep Wade from joining the embrace. You would remember your helpless laughter at the sight of Logan’s perplexed scowl while Wade managed to hop on his back. It was that moment, when you felt unburdened and free and happy, that would get you through the tragic events ahead.
Author's Note: I'm so fucking nervous about this one. I rarely write anything with spice, so I'm literally fucking terrified right now y'all will hate this. If you liked this, letting me know would make my day. And I have an idea/plot for a third chapter, so if y'all want to read that, please let me know. And if you want to be tagged in the next part, please let me know! I figure as long as y'all let me know you want to keep reading this fic, I'll keep on adding more to it. And if there are characters/scenarios/other Marvel stuff you might want to see, let me know! I might be able to work it into the fic. (also, we're just going to pretend reader never met negasonic teenage warhead or colossus yet for the purpose of this fic.)

P.Y.T ( Pretty Young Thing)
Tumblr media
Spiderman Across the Spiderverse
42!Miles Morales x black!reader
Warning(s): nothing too crazy. just a bit of cursing
Honestly it’s giving Poppy and Branch
Tumblr media
You stuck out like a sore thumb in Miles’ life. A bright pink, bedazzled thumb. He’ll never forget the first moment he saw you, well saw you again. He was out after school with some of the boys, and he saw you with your girls. You two crossed paths once or twice in middle school before you transferred for a bit to one of those downtown academies.
He recalls how you were the oreo that could answer any chem question without flinching at the sheer amount of conversion and what not involved.
You didn’t bag an eye or flinch at the harsh comments, the nickname that made Miles grind his teeth. How’s it your fault you were top three in the science department?
Yet here you were, your hands covered your glossy pink lips that spilled with a laugh that Miles wanted to hear more of. Your nails gleamed with bright charms and some cartoon characters and your other hand tossed a loose bang from your face.
You changed but he still saw the bright pink braces girl with various cartoon charms dangling from her purple kanken.
You all headed into the bodega and he and his boys followed in behind you. One of them said he needed to hit your friends up about something and it was coincidence because the two of you were reintroduced.
Miles found it endearing how despite your loud and boisterous behavior when the two of you got introduced, here you stood quiet as a mouse looking anywhere but at Miles.
You held a pack of candy in one hand and a bottle of water in the other while your groups spoke behind you as you stepped up to pay. But Miles caught your frustration as you dug into your purse.
“I got you” he stepped in and tapped his phone before you could protest.
“Thanks Miles I’m so sorry, next time it’s on me” you give him a smile as you slide the back into the book of your arm.
And it's then when he realizes how much he's missed you since middle school.
“Nah it’s all good you know I got you” his eyes watch as you fidget with your nails and he can’t help but smirk and gently bump you. “Why you acting shy? Used to hear you all the time in the halls.”
You gawk up at him and smack him in the arm. And he notes how your hand lingers a bit. It’s all the confirmation he needs.
“Morales how dare you! You look annoyed I didn’t want to bother you.. and who said you could get so tall.” You crossed your arms.
“I don’t think you could bother me.” And the way you look up at him is enough to know he’s got you wrapped around his finger just as you do him.
“And no one told you to stink your growth with all that coffee.”
“Hey!”
Before you part ways Miles gets your new number and makes sure to save his into your phone.
You slowly find yourself bleeding back into Miles’ life. Short texts get longer. You’re sending hearts within four months, and Mama Rio knows your special knock when you enter the apartment to wait for Miles. She feeds you when you stay the long nights and Mr.Morales doesn’t want you going home for your safety.
When he comes home from his shifts he would stop you before you were heading out and tells you that you might as well stay the night. He was the same gentle giant you remember from back in middle school and he welcomes you into his home with open arms just as he did before.
He’s always quick to give your pops and mom and text when you do stay the night and they’re more than appreciative.
Miles bought a blanket just for you when you slept over on the couch. It’s fleece, pink and covered in a my melody pattern. He even provides a silk pillow in a matching shade cause he knows you won't sleep with a mix matched set. He pulls it up and tucks it in when he sees you fast asleep coming in from a job, and fixes your bonnet before it slips off.
You go from Y/N in his phone to Mi Tesoro.
You’re leaving lip gloss and lashes on his desk and taking jackets of his with you. He’s walking you to the bus and won’t leave till he sees you on it safely and watches your location till you’re in the house.
You begin to show back up in his sketches but he won’t show you. His sketchbook is intimate and when he does slowly show you his pieces your heart swells up.
You always were done up, but on the days when you weren’t Miles still swore you were beautiful. With lashes and without. With a full face or bare. Nails on and off. You were his whole world.
Miles knew about the dudes you used to mess with. He was smart when he could apply himself and he knew that while the relationships ended in good terms and there was no bad blood you settled. And he wasn’t going to build your relationship with him off of settling.
No, you deserved the world and therefore he was going to give it. Because you have him the same treatment in return with zero hesitation.
So when he’s planning to ask you to be his girl. He goes all out.
After school, as always, he asks if you can come by tonight. You agree but today he wants to go up on the roof and you quickly agree. But when you go up it’s different. It’s illuminated and the trail of candles lead you to your usual spot near the edge. But it’s set up with a blanket and atop it are a bouquet of roses and the large strawberry hello kitty you were raving on the phone about last week.
“I’m not the best with words or my emotions. But I know that I couldn’t let this feeling est me anymore. So I had to draw it.” Miles nods his head and you look up at the brick wall and gasp at the sight of…you. But it’s more ethereal, you want to ask Miles how he did such a beautiful portrait but he’s guiding you to look back at him with misty eyes.
“Be mine, please? My girl, my baby.”
And your hand covers your mouth like the first time but your nodding quickly and throw your arms around him and tuck yourself under his jaw.
“Miles you're lucky I used my good setting spray!” you smack his chest as he pulls you into his chest and guides your lips to his in a gentle peck.
“Sorry love I couldn’t help” he smirks down at you.
“Don’t look at me like that” you pout and push softly against him. And he tilts his hand to look down at you.
“Like what hm? How am I looking at you?” And you rolls your eyes and pull him to plant another kiss to his lips.
Tonight he doesn’t chide you about the residue your gloss leaves behind. He’ll wear it with pride. Tonight and the next days to come.
He wonders if they’ll always be like this. He hopes they are.
Because moments like this are always fleeting.

scope out the competition
[full series]
mdni ! patrick zweig (warning: public sex)
summary: feeling out your opponents, the ins and outs, is always important when improving your game.
tashi duncan’s tennis games thrive from her being the most self she can be. her strengths entirely come from improving herself, wanting to be the very best player she can be leaves no room for her to blame losses on lack of technique. she puts in everything she has to get everything back. you, however, consider yourself a team player; you like to analyse your opponent and play to their style. why would you exhaust yourself trying your hardest when you can pray on your competition’s weaknesses? it makes for an overall more fluid experience—to see them slip out of concentration and into panic, you inhaling their exhaled breath, giving you a perfect opening to land a winning shot.
tashi’s stubbornness for greatness makes her a strict player, with regimes and schedules that nothing is worth skipping for. except maybe you sometimes.
“where are you going?” she asks, stepping behind you to check herself out in the mirror in your dorm, cramping to fit into the reflection while you strip yourself of your shorts to put on a pair of grey sweats. “i told you, ITF tournament today.” you switch between a black cami and white tee in the mirror, then tie the drawstring of your pants. “i think you should come.” you add and tashi meets the eyes of your reflection, her brows lowering, “i have training.”
you sigh out, nodding and turning to your desk to grab a perfume bottle, giving it a couple spritzes. “patrick is playing today.” you say but tashi doesn’t seem to care, continuing to tie the laces of her shoes, soles scuffed black from the sheer amount of play they get, “i told you i have training.” it doesn’t even seem to register in her head that maybe she should be there, or that he might want her there, “he’s you’re boyfriend.”
it’s hard not to feel some sympathy for patrick who has no clue that putting him above tennis in tashi’s head is equivalent to trying to find some space in a room where an open flame is sucking up all the oxygen. “im training.” she says again and her carelessness begins to bother you, relaxed expression on her face as she runs a hand through her hair before tying it back. “why do you even care whether i go see patrick or not?” tashi turns around for a moment to read your expression whilst she pulls a black hair tie from around her wrist and to her hair. there’s a playful smile on her lips, a gentle calmness that makes it seem like you’re the crazy one for even suggesting seeing her boyfriend may be nice.
“i dont.”
“seems like you’re excited to see him.” she hums to you, a glint in her eyes. it’s not a warning sign or a threat, but more amusement. she wants you to be eager and she doesn’t care that it’s her boyfriend you’re eager about. you hadn’t even thought of patrick that way since they started dating, but your cheeks run hot at the feeling that she’s seen right through you.
you walk out without saying goodbye to her, it’s belittling to think that she can see you as another one of the pawns in her game too. after nearly fourteen years of friendship you’ve learnt to read her well, and there isn’t a doubt in your mind that she’s waiting for a competition to unfold. to have you both try and win patrick over to see who the better seducer is, because if tashi can’t beat you in tennis she’s going to try and give everything else a shot. you may play for the team, but you still play to win and tashi’s stupid ways of entertainment aren’t any different.
sitting at the side of the court in the stands like patrick did once for you, and meeting his eyes from your seat, watching him stretching his limbs, you wonder whether he had expected to see tashi, and not you. a smile spreads across his face, a pleasantly surprised one that shows no underlying desire to see her. you raise your hand to wave to him and he waves back, the sun hitting his face until he’s forced to squint.
his opponent didn’t actually stand a chance, even the way that he walked out with a meek hold on his bag told you and patrick everything that you needed to know. his serves were shy, barely making it past the net and his returns were even worse. the whole thing was unruly, like a battlefield where patrick has a sword and gun and his opponent lost all his armour. patrick was ferocious, the swing of his racket making a shrilling sound at every contact and his glistening arms straightening out to reach it, pulsating the veins in his hands. his biceps throbbed beneath the shirt sleeves that were blown upwards from the light breeze and your eyes seemed to burn into them. his dark hair swept away from his forehead every time he launched for the ball then falling back down to his face perfectly. and between the sets when he’d sit down at near the baseline and glance up at you with a smirk, hoping to get a small nod of approval, it felt like he knew exactly to what extent he’d been stirring up the feelings inside your stomach.
he leaned back into his seat after sucking up an energy gel and let the sun cast on his skin arrogantly while his opponent tried not to have a panic attack, seeing any chances of a professional career slip away from his calloused fingertips. patrick played it cool, he didn’t have to know his opponent to feel that he looked up to you, and every time you cheered for patrick, an endearing clap, it would take all his might not to throw his racket across the court at him.
the game was a blow out, of course, and patrick looked up at you once more before exiting the court, leaving his opponent to writhe in the loss.
you knew that after his game patrick would be out somewhere, lighting up a victory cigarette, and you purposefully glanced to every fire exit of the sports club and dark alleyway hoping you’d see him there until you found the one. he leans against the bricked wall cooly and his hair is still slightly damp, being dried by the gusts of wind when he takes a drag of the cigarette you knew he’d have.
“you did good today.” you call out to him, approaching his frame that pushes itself off the wall to take in your presence fully. you smile kindly and he scoffs, you knew that was what patrick wanted to hear, and you gave it to him. the one thing that tashi can’t bring herself to do—support someone else’s game other her own. he breaks the eye contact you’ve been holding, glancing away abashedly, “coming from ‘ESPN Tennis number one upcoming female tennis star?’ im flattered.” he quotes an article written about you that he’s read more times than he’d admit to anyone.
your arms fold across across your chest and he hums a teasing note. “okay fuck you. i was being nice.” you say and he chuckles, his fingers grazing the skin of your arm when he leans forward. he looks down at you, trying to piece together your presence and why he’s never felt that kind of appreciation from tashi. “what are you even doing here?” he questions and you shrug your shoulders that he can’t stop himself from looking at, loathing the straps of your tank top that keep him from indulging into a further fantasy, “research. have to see how my competition is doing before my game at the open.”
he nods, taking another inhale of his cigarette and intentionally blowing the smoke away from your face. he continues to look away for a moment, seemingly lost in thought about what you’d presume was his game that in reality is nothing short of the ways that sleeping with you may be different than with tashi. it had been overwhelming his head since he had been with her, and he has been trying to stop himself from asking art every single minute detail of whatever exactly went down between you two. even in the dead of night when he’d jerk himself off and think of his girlfriend, it would often slip into the few moments that he’s had with you; the softness of your lips in the hotel room and the embarrassed look on your face when he’d caught you out with art.
“yeah whatever. or maybe you just missed me.”
you laugh but his face keeps the serious expression, lips that hold the cigarette between them turning up into a smirk. you look away from him, suddenly feeling shy as he remains looking at you from above, a heat circulating beneath your skin, reddening your cheeks and a heaviness in your chest.
he waits silently for the moment that you flick your eyes back to him, and from the glimmer within them he knows that you want him just as bad as he wants you. his two fingers take the butt of his cigarette and throw it to the ground to free up his lips that lean down to yours. he kisses you hard like he hasn’t felt the touch of a woman for a while, and you kiss him back.
there’s a smokiness to his lips that move passionately with yours, pushing themselves into you and immediately making them swell with a lustful redness. he hums into the kiss, vibrating against your lips and taking a handful of your hair into his hand to pull at it gently. however the guilt catches up to you quickly and you pull away from him, “what about tashi—your girlfriend?” he presses his lips together briefly at the absence of you, then chuckles, “you mean the one that isn’t here?” he doesn’t give you the time to respond before pressing his lips back to yours, his tongue pressing gently into your mouth. softly, his fingertips skim across the sun kissed surface of your arms, to feel the softness of your skin against his that he’s been having wet dreams about.
you let slip a soft whine, your hands that are cupped around his cheeks suddenly travelling to his chest to push him away again, “you know she has her own matches to train for.” his lips have a reddish tint from your desperate aggressiveness to have as much of him as possible and he sticks his tongue out to his bottom lip to taste the flavour of you while you defend tashi.
patrick has to lean backward, breathing heavily in your direction with a disbelieving look. his eyes scan your face to see if you’re being serious and his brows twitch upwards, hand already wrapping around your jaw delicately, “and you don’t?” he pulls your face towards him, leaning down to meet you in the middle.
he moves his firm grasp around your hips, each hand outlined with a paleness from the pressure, steadily drawing you into him until his stiff crotch is pressed against your front. the exchange of heat hazes his mind and the alleyway environment no longer becomes a concern as he twists you until you’re leant against the cold wall.
his fingers tediously untie the drawstring of your sweats, the real gift that he won the tournament for, eyes peering up at you for a green light. he had known since spotting you in the audience that he wanted to find out the way your eyes squint together in anticipation and your bottom lip is pierced by your teeth to beg more of him. to get the full experience art did and to give you what he may have missed out on. fingertips dancing around the hem of your trousers, and curling around it to give him the bit of space he needs to fully slip his hand into them, the heat inside leaking the precum out of him.
one of his fingers slides down between your folds over the top of your panties, sending the sensation to spread across your whole lower half. momentarily, he circles his index finger around the area of your clit to alert you of his presence and listen to your breath hitch.
you press your mouth shut, squeaking out high whines into the alleyway, patrick’s whole body positioned close enough to you that you can feel the expanding of his lungs. he shimmies your trousers a little further down until he can see the bareness of your legs and your fingers reach into his dark locks when he lowers himself down onto his knees. “what are you doing?” you ask, the cold cobblestone sends a shiver down his spine and his hands push you into the wall. he looks up at you, a reassuring smile on his face, cheeks rosy with excitement and brows lowered, “im thanking you for turning up to watch my game.” he says matter-of-factly, you can feel the hotness of his breath against your legs and it makes the rest of them feel numb. you want to tell him to stand back up, to not risk the both of you being kicked out of the court for the rest of your lives and ruining your careers, but the closer patrick inches to your soaking wet panties the less the thought is present in your head.
he presses his lips onto your core over the fabric, only for you to jerk your hips upwards into his face at the sensation, sighing out loudly. he’s wanted to watch the way you react to his every touch, imagining this very moment when the tip of his finger pulls to get rid of the barrier between him and your entrance, where he can spread your own slick across your slit. he finds a pleasure that sends blood pumping into his cock knowing he’s the one to do this to you, and nobody else.
his tongue presses flat against your centre, lapping around the area only for a moment before you grasp onto his shoulders, spreading your legs open a little wider to adhere to his touch. his every single movement is calculated and deliberate, circling his tongue around your clit then pulling away to have you gasp for air; kneading the flesh of your thighs with his hands to soothe.
when you cup his cheek with your hand he moans into your pussy, feeling the warmth of your fingertips and his own cum that dribbles out prematurely into the shorts he changed into only half an hour earlier. although he’s the one to slide his index finger into you while his chin is dripping with your juices and his saliva, your slight touches enrapture him until every cell in his body is hypnotised and he knows nothing other than to keep ushering whimpers out of you. he glances up to your face, taking a mental image of your breath-taking frame that he has all to himself to devour.
the more his mouth works, nose deep into wetly sucking on your clit, the more intense the lustful fluttering in your bottom half grows, his tongue shamefully savouring you the faster he glides it across your slit and the finger that pumps into you turning into two.
patrick’s hair curls loosely across his forehead, eyes twinkling up at you with a drunk arousal that he’s only just discovered, taking the involuntary bucking of your hips into his face with a content smile of which the sensation is felt across your whole core. he notices how close you’re getting, hearing your heaving and sobs, and thoughts of art seem to frequent his mind, about how quickly he was able to make you come and if it was faster than him. it works him up until he holds you still against the wall, circling his tongue around your clit and plunging his fingers into you in a frenzied state, curling against every ridge of your g-spot until all the air out of your lungs in blown out.
you inhale back again to spread the feeling of climax across your whole body, hips twitching under his grip and eyes squeezing shut. patrick presses short pecks to your inner thigh, and stands up to watch the last few moments of your lips being parted open and hands reaching out to use him to balance before you come back down from your high. he looks down at your lips that are red from the way you’ve bit them, and the tears that well up at the corners of your eyes with a small smile, bringing himself down to kiss you with the remnants of your own orgasm. his lips are slow and meaningful, to share the flavour and let you remember it was his doing, while his hands gently pull your panties up your thighs, then your sweats.
“thanks again.” he says, pulling away to tie your drawstring again like it had never been undone, and you nod.
he smirks down at you again, the lingering taste of you in his mouth; chuckling out and bringing the strap of your top back over your shoulder innocently,
“you’re a terrible friend.” he says.
“you’re a worse boyfriend.”
he watches the way your legs move parallel to each other when you leave him in the alleyway, his mind not being able to get rid of this image of him being between them. he had taken in your expression at every moment, and he would do the same thing over a thousand times more to watch it again. and later that evening when he promised to call tashi, he instead stares at the ceiling of his room and replays the whole ordeal in his head; while tashi lets herself into your dorm room out of boredom and slips under the covers.

“abs…c’mon, baby…we gotta leave in a few minutes.” you call out to your wife who’s spent the last 30 minutes making sure she looks absolutely perfect, not one hair out of place in her braid, making sure her new tux was absolutely spotless.
“i’m coming, doll…gimme a minute.” she calls out softly and you laugh and roll your eyes playfully at her antics. the ongoing joke that she spends way more time getting ready than you do slowly but surely starting to become a reality.
you smooth out the fabric of your almost sheer, black satin dress and slip on your jimmy choo heels, grabbing your purse from the dresser before looking up just as abby walks out from the bathroom. you swear you feel your eyes turn into little heart shapes as you see her.
she looks nothing short of absolutely perfect in her sleek, tailored black tux paired with her shiny black dress shoes, her muscular forearms filling out the sleeves of her suit jacket and her long hair slicked back from her face. you're absolutely smitten as you rush over to press your lips against hers repeatedly, “god, you’re so pretty…” you sigh, words coming out as a breathless whisper as you press your face against her chest, closing your eyes and breathing in her familiar scent.
before you know it you’re gathered in a spacious studio for a small, intimate gathering of some couture designers to showcase their new up-coming works. you’re surrounded by mannequins displaying gorgeous designer clothes, along with an assortment of clothes scattered around the room, from elegant ballgowns to sophisticated suit jackets.
the windows are covered in velvet drapes, allowing a small amount of natural moonlight to flood the room. everyone whispering discreetly amongst themselves, scanning the surroundings and taking in all the lavish clothing and glittering accessories.
you wander off away from abby for a little while, you’re quietly minding your own business checking out some artist sketches that are carefully hung up on the wall when you feel a presence beside you. “beautiful aren’t they?” a heavily accented voice causes you to look away from the framed pictures and you turn your head to see a familiar italian designer.
“yeah…they’re gorgeous! are they for the new spring-summer collection?” you query, you head tilting curiously in his direction. “yes, that’s correct…these pieces should be out within the next couple of months.” he smirks and leans in closer to you.
“i was actually just thinking about you.” he places a hand on your shoulder and you resist the urge to shudder in disgust. “oh, please…i’m not that special.” you force a stiff laugh and shake your head, after all this time you still find it hard to believe that you have become a well-known, household named model.
“im serious! i saw you at that runway show a couple weeks ago…and let me say, it’s been driving me crazy ever since. ive been dying to get in contact with you-“ he chuckles, his gaze drifting down towards you body. he takes your hand in his, a cunning smile spreading wide as he leans in to kiss your cheek. you shake his hand curtly before pulling your hand back and jerking your face away from him.
he continues to flirt with you, his eyes finding yours and locking onto them. “perhaps you’d be interesting in catching a drink tonight?” he looks down at your shoulder and casually caresses it with his hand. “my hotel is just a couple blocks away, and i know you’re staying in the city the whole weekend. so whatdya say?”
you start purposely clinking your perfectly polished wedding ring against your half empty champagne glass, hoping he gets the hint. “i’ll actually be busy with my wife….in our own hotel room, thank you very much.”
you catch a glimpse of abby across the room, she instantly feels a pang of jealousy as she watches him openly flirt with her girl practically right in front of her face.
her brow begins to furrow and she discreetly ends the conversation she’s having and makes her way over to you, she obviously saw the guy kiss you, and she’s clearly not happy about it.
you watch his smile falter a little at the mention of your wife, and he directs his gaze towards abby as she approaches, obviously intimidated by her height and stature. “everything okay, my love?” she asks, her eyes still watching the designer. you lean in to kiss her briefly before pulling away and nodding, wrapping your arm around her bicep.
he finally gets the hint and laughs, taking a step or two back. “hmm, well isn’t that a shame?” he says with a grin. he turns to walk away, before stopping and turning back to face you. “well if you ever want to get in touch, here’s my card.” he holds out a small business card with his details on it and smiles at you, abby quickly pushes his hand away and speaks in a passive-aggressive manner, “my wife and i won’t be needing that, thank you.”
he laughs cockily, obviously slightly amused before turning on his heel and walking off to probably shamelessly flirt with another married woman.
abby leans into you, resting her head against yours, taking the champagne flute out of your hand and placing it on a nearby silver side-table. her eyes still watching the designer as he saunters away. “i don’t like how he was looking at you, darling.”
you roll your eyes at her comment, giggling slightly. “babe, calm down,” you say, squeezing her hand. you look over at her and smirk at her. “but you’re really the only one who i’ve got my eyes on, okay?”
“you’re mine…all fuckin mine~” her voice is rough, and she still can’t shake her jealousy from that designer looking at you. abby leans in and kisses you on the neck, her lips gently sucking and nibbling at the sensitive skin.
abby smiles wickedly at you, before grabbing you by the hand and quickly dragging you to the back of the boutique. you find yourself in a fancy, private bathroom and abby quickly locks the door behind you. she pulls you in for a heated kiss and you can feel her firm body pressing against yours.
abby’s tongue gently plays against yours, her hands caressing your face and your body, slowly pulling you closer to her. she bites down on your bottom lip slightly, but not hard enough to hurt you.
she pulls away for a second before diving back in, kissing you passionately and with more force than before. “all mine~” she whispers in your ear, her breath hot on your neck, her fingers finding their way down to hike your dress up over you ass, bending you over in the sink counter.
you hear the zipper of her pants being yanked down and the rusting of her shirt being untucked before she pulls your panties off your body and discards them onto the floor before nudging your legs apart with her knee.
you whine as she swipes the tip of the strap-on through your sticky folds, gathering up your slick before pressing the head of the dildo against your slit. “say it…tell me who's the only one who gets you this wet~” she pushes in slowly, groaning at the sight of your pussy greedily taking her cock. “you, abs…fuucck- only you!”
she thrusts herself fully inside without warning, all seven inches of black silicone right up to the hilt making you cry out, feeling every vein and ridge flush against the walls of your cunt. the stinging stretch causing your face to contort in a mixture of pleasure and pain as she pulls out until just the tip remains inside, then slams back in. she roughly manhandles you, slamming you back on her cock. “nnhhggg…a-abby~”
you hear her fumbling with something before you suddenly feel pressure around your throat, the silky material of her tie digs into your neck as she wraps it around your throat and yanks you back to make eye contact with her in the mirror. “look at me while im fucking you, yeah?” she growls through gritted teeth, her eyes dark and filled with jealousy fueled lust.
you’re gripping onto the marble counter so hard that your knuckles are starting to lose their colour, strangled moans leaving your lips, the perfectly applied lipstick now smudged around your mouth in messy splotches.
she drops the tie onto the counter and you gasp for some much needed air. she snakes her free hand down to rub at your clit lazily as she snaps her hips into yours at an eye-rolling pace. “a-abby! oohhh…my god…fuck…” the fingers of her unoccupied hand dig into your hip, holding you in place as she starts to pound into you relentlessly, the sound of flesh slapping against flesh echoing in the small bathroom.
she groans, picking up the pace, the friction from the harness against her clit making her moans grow louder and more desperate, hips grinding into you in-between thrusts as she chases her own release.
you thighs start to clench and shake as her pace picks up even more, leaving you gasping and grabbing at any surface you can find to ground yourself. “you feel that? only i can make you cum like this, yeah?” you’re babbling incoherently as the the head of her cock keeps bumping into that sweet spot until it has you letting out a loud pleading cry as you cum on her cock.
she keeps thrusting, prolonging your release as she helps you ride out your own orgasm, her thick fingers digging into your hips hard enough to bruise.
“fuuccckk~” she pants heavily, leaning forward to rest her head against your back, the harness still grinding against her clit and making her cum hard whilst still buried inside you.
she lets out a loud groan as she pulls out with a pop, looking down at the mess between your legs and the cum dripping from your clenching cunt. you turn back to face her and she brings your mouths together in a brief, heated kiss before pulling away and carefully helping you clean yourself up.
she tucks her strap-on back into her pants and neatens her tux up before picking up your discarded panties and shoving them into her pocket before holding her arm out for you to take. “c’mon, baby~” her chivalrous action a stark contrast to the way she just fucked you into oblivion not even five minutes ago.
you smile coyly, adjusting your dress and grabbing onto her forearm as she leads you out of the bathroom and back out into the main studio space, not even caring about the skeptical looks and the un-approving stares of the people around you.
an; model!reader has me in an absolute chokehold right now😵‍💫if u have any ideas for more PLSSS leave me a request !!!!

Here is the smut side story that goes with this short story from the picture game.
It’s been a looonnngggg time since I’ve written smut and I’m sure it shows. I hope it’s not too bad though.
Warnings: Unprotected sex, body insecurities, general sex stuff nothing too crazy, crying after sex, everything is consensual
Dinner had been simple and light, not wanting to weigh yourself down. The conversation was fun with lots of smiles and laughter. It felt like old times which you and Yoongi were slowly getting back to. You were moving back into your once shared home bit by bit. Mae was taking all the changes surprisingly well but you really think it helps that she gets to see her daddy almost every day again so she didn’t really care about much else.
You’d gone to a couple therapy sessions with Yoongi and it was very beneficial to you both. You wished you’d gone sooner. His therapist loved the idea of slowly trying to introduce intimacy back into your lives. Which is what you did.
It started with Yoongi using his mouth and fingers to pleasure you on a couple occasions. You always felt terrible that he would never let you return the favor but he assured you he was okay doing without and you understood why so you never pushed him more than just offering.
But a couple weeks ago his doctor switched up his medicine to something new which was supposed to have fewer or lighter side effects. You didn’t want to rush him so you waited until he was ready and last night he asked if your parents would mind taking Mae for a night. He also asked you to bring over that one lingerie set. You played it cool but internally you were screaming with excitement.
And now here you were staring at yourself in the bathroom mirror. Instead of wearing the old piece you decided to start fresh and buy something new. You chuckled, not because of the way you looked or anything since Yoongi had been working double time to make sure you got your confidence back, but because you couldn’t believe the amount of money you paid for something with such little fabric.
It was weird feeling so nervous to have sex with your husband who you also had a child with so this wasnt anything new. You two used to rip each others clothes off and get right to it but now it felt so foreign and different.
You tied your robe shut and turned off the bathroom light.
Yoongi was sitting on the edge of the bed staring off into space. You knew he was already in his head, probably criticizing himself for things that didn’t even happen yet.
When he heard the door click shut he looked over and smiled.
He grabbed your hand and pulled you in-front of him to stand between his legs, “Come here baby.” You did as he said, starting to run your fingers through his hair to comfort him.
“I’m so nervous.”, he chuckled as he toyed with the string of your robe.
“It’s okay. I am too. But remember that it’s just me Yoongi and we’re gonna take it slow and we’ll work through it together.”
He leaned into your touch loving the way your hands felt on him.
His fingers had a slight shake to them as he pulled a little harder on the string.
“C-Can I?”, he asked.
You nodded, “Please.”
In one movement he pulled on the string releasing the hold it had on your robe. You shimmied your shoulders allowing the silk to slide down to the floor revealing the light blue lace and sheer fabric that adorned your body underneath it.
You felt self conscious and started to worry but any doubts you had were banished when Yoongi’s hands grabbed onto your hips giving them a light squeeze. He licked his lips as he looked you over once again. “Y/N you’re gorgeous and mine, all mine, all for me.”, you heard him mumbling as he placed sloppy kisses over the fabric, surprising you when his teeth lightly grazed your right nipple.
Slowly he helped you out of what you were wearing, his eyes not leaving you once.
“Umm something seems off about this situation right now.”, you giggled while pulling on the sleeve of his t-shirt since he was still fully clothed.
He helped you pull off the fabric tossing it aside before he lifted up so you could pull off the sweats he had been wearing leaving him in just his boxers.
Feverishly you leaned back in searching for his lips. Yoongi pulled you on top of him as he laid back on the bed. You straddled him trying to remember every touch and every spot that would get him going. Things started falling into place.
Your lips started on his neck sucking little bits before slowly trailing down his chest to his stomach and then just below his belly button.
You ran your tongue against the fabric of his boxers feeling him half hard but it got a reaction from him so you did it again this time with a little more pressure.
He moaned your name giving you confidence. You hooked a finger around the waistband of his shorts pulling them down and freeing his large cock that you hadn’t seen in ages. You had forgotten just how beautiful your husband was, every inch of him.
He wasn’t quite there yet but you were determined to bring him to full erection. You placed kisses on his thighs knowing that he liked to be teased. Your kisses turned into little licks that got closer and closer until you surprised him by taking him fully in your mouth. He groaned as his hips bucked up to meet your mouth. Slowly but steadily you bobbed your head up and down on his cock making sure to pay extra attention to the head just like he always liked.
You made sure to even reach up and give his balls a light squeeze knowing that usually increased his pleasure. After several minutes of this he was no harder than when you started.
Trying your best to mask your disappointment you leaned back to catch your breath while still stroking him with your hand.
You tried to go back in with your mouth but he stopped you, “Just forget it Y/N. It’s not going to happen.”
“Yoongs it’s okay. Don’t get upset. Let’s just take a break and we can try again. We have all night.”, you said trying to salvage the situation.
But he pulled on his shorts and walked out of the room leaving you there naked and alone.
Giving him a few minutes you slowly slid on his shirt that he had been wearing and walked out to find him. He was sat on the couch staring at the blank television.
When you got closer he finally looked up at you, “I’m sorry Y/N, I’m sorry I can’t be there for you in the ways you need me to be.”
You sighed feeling frustrated. Frustrated with yourself, frustrated with him for feeling like that, frustrated at the situation.
Gently you leaned him back against the couch and you straddled his lap. You were going to take charge and try things your way.
“Yoongi you’re thinking too much about it. You need to just relax and let your body feel.”, you mumbled into his lips while simultaneously grinding down on his soft cock. You could feel your arousal soaking through his shorts, “And even if we don’t get there tonight I’m perfectly happy just being close to you like this.”
Your words seemed to calm him and his body started to relax back into the couch.
With more force you pushed your wet cunt down on him harder this time while using the friction to get yourself off.
Yoongi’s hands were roaming your body until they settled on your hips helping to hold you down. He always had a thing for letting you use him as you pleased.
“Mmm baby, I don’t even need you inside me. I can cum just like this.”, you moaned in his ear.
He took the hem of the shirt you were wearing and pulled it over you throwing it across the room with force. You laughed until his mouth connected harshly with your left nipple while his large hands squeezed your breast together making a moan escape you.
His hips bucked up encouraging you to continue chasing your high when you felt his bulge growing. He was the hardest he’d been all night. Not wanting to draw attention to it you continued to grind down on him just like you had been. His shorts now soaked with a mix of your arousal and his pre cum.
“Do you trust me?”, you whispered in his ear before nibbling on the lobe.
“Mmhm with my life.”
You continued your movements until he was a mess under you and rock hard.
You lifted your hips up far enough that you could quickly move his shorts down freeing his red swollen cock allowing it to stand straight up. Before he could react you sunk down on him talking all of him in one shot.
The pain was immediately replaced by pleasure as you willingly accepted the familiar girth.
“Oh fuck”, he hissed feeling your warmth and wetness for the first time in over a year.
You gave it another moment for you both to adjust before you began to bounce up and down on his length.
Yoongi was a moaning cursing mess. His head rolling back with his mouth agape. His eyes squeezed shut as he soaked in the sensations and sounds around him. You took the moment to plant kisses along his jaw when he lunged forwarded capturing your lips with his instead.
You were trying your hardest to make sure he enjoyed this moment to the fullest. Using his shoulders for leverage you started bouncing up and down more aggressively letting his cock fully slip out of you before sheathing yourself again. The position giving Yoongi the one of the best views he’s ever seen between your body sliding up and down on his painfully hard erection and your boobs bouncing inches from his face. That combined with the sounds you were making were blissful and he found himself nearly finishing by surprise.
He gasped grabbing a hold of his cock to prevent you from slamming back down on it.
“Fuck sorry Y/N, I nearly came.”, he said out of breath.
You giggled giving him a few kisses before he removed his hand allowing you slip his cock back inside. Once again you began your movements but this time his hands clung to your waist, “Y/N go slow, please. I-I can’t last much longer. It’ll be even less if you keep this up.”, he panted.
“It’s okay Yoongs. Let go whenever you’re ready. I’ve got you.”, you said giving his shoulder a squeeze.
You obliged for a little though. Wanting to keep the feeling of him finally being inside you. You moved slowly, both of you watching as he slid in an out of you.
You started to pick up the pace again though. Your own high was close and you knew he was even closer. You could feel the way he twitched inside, his grip on your waist getting tighter, the concentration on this face as he tried to fight it. Skin on skin and ragged breathing the only sounds in the room.
“Y/N. I…I can’t. You have to stop. I’m gonna cum if you don’t stop.”, he cried into your chest.
“Then cum for me. I want to make you feel good. Fill me up baby. I know you want to.”
And that was the final push he needed.
He came inside you with a loud pornographic moan, his body shaking as you continued to ride him through his high wanting him to feel euphoric.
Somehow he still managed to bring his hand to your clit rubbing figure eights and willing himself through the over stimulation as you continued to ride him through your own high as well.
He leaned his forehead against your chest and you placed a kiss on the top of his head.
“Was that okay?.” you asked.
“Y/N, that was more than okay.”, he chuckled.
Both of you stayed like that for a minute because you were exhausted but also just genuinely enjoyed the intimacy that had been missing for so long.
“Thank you…thank you for not giving up on me.”, he sniffled and you realized he was crying.
“Don’t thank me. We’re in this together. No matter what. Everything will be okay.”, you said wiping away his tears with your thumbs.
He kissed you, “I love you Y/N, I love you so much.”
You kissed him again and again making sure he knew you loved him too.

Hello! I was wondering if you could write some fluff for Dr stone please?
Could you write about Ryusui and Tsukasa ( separately) making reader ( gn please?) Cry of worry for them?
They are both a bit crazy, tsukasa fighting anything and Ryusui just diving in any adventure would make me worried sick, specially if they became stone again or something.
I hope I made sense! Thank you!!
[I forgot you said “fluff“, oops. I dunno how to make that fluffy, I‘m sorry edfgieoigj These are just the moments (Y/N) is worrying. So hurt, no comfortish (there is some comfort from other characters). I wanted to focus on the turmoil itself, so for the comfort you can imagine anything fitting with the storyline]
Characters: Tsukasa Shishio, Ryusui Nanami
No pronouns, gendered terms or description of body used for reader.
Spoilers for season 2 & Special 2 - Ryusui
Dr. Stone_Masterlist
Worrisome
Tsukasa Shishio
You didn’t move from your seat near the cave. You couldn’t. The sheer amount of stress made your body shut down as a defense mechanism. You felt dizzy. Your mind was numb. The situation was just so utterly unbelievable. There was just no way. Just when everything started to light up.
Mirai was sitting besides you, letting you hold her to your side as she cried, her voice being muffled by your clothes.
After years, Mirai finally woke up. After months, the Empire and Kingdom of Science were at peace. There was no reason to fear the other party anymore. And how long did that last? Hours? Minutes?
Tsukasa’s wound was fatal, so Senku decided to essentially kill him himself by freezing him up like leftovers. To save him, sure. But he is dead. Tsukasa, your boyfriend, is dead. For however long, he wouldn’t be there. Wouldn’t be there to hold you, to assure you, make new memories with his sister he has missed so much for forever.
You were scared. So scared. What if Senku’s plan didn’t work? What if everything went downhill from here on out? What if Homura and Hyoga escaped and went on a killing spree?
It was all so scary to think about, you nearly went crazy. Mirai was the only thing keeping you sane, she didn’t know you, but she knew how important you were to her brother. And thus you were important to her too. And the same the other way around.
You pulled her a little closer and rubbed her shoulder, as you were at a loss for words to comfort her. That was when Senku emerged from the cave where it happened. His expression wasn’t much different from yours, but there was a certain determination twinkling in his eyes. As he stepped closer, you noticed him carry something. It was the lion’s fur Tsukasa had draped over his shoulders before making peace with the Kingdom of Science.
Wordlessly, he paused infront of you two and wrapped both of you up in it.
“It’s cold.”, he said after a beat of silence, “I’ll bring him back. And that’s a fact.”
Ryusui Nanami
Your eyebrows were already furrowed when Ryusui ended up being one of the three to test the hot air balloon. Sure, you trusted in Senku’s abilities - you’ve seen what that mind of his can accomplish - but there was still room for unexpected errors. Errors that could lead to very horrible things you did not want to think about. Regardless, that adventure addicted man never missed out on a chance to make you age an additional ten years with his antics.
And as much as you would love to smile lovingly into the distance and say you wouldn’t have it any other way- Well, you couldn’t. You didn’t dare take away such a significant chunk of who he was, but you’d still appreciated it if he would slow down every now and then.
That poor heart of yours was on the brink of explosion almost every single day.
If only that stupid, stupid man wasn’t the love of your life.
For the nth time you looked up into the sky, in the direction the hot air balloon took off in. The stress was messing so hard with your brain you would constantly stop in the middle of your tasks, “Must be a real ain p-ay to deal with, huh?”, Gen appeared on your side, a half-amused, half-sympathetic look on his face. You shared eye-contact for a moment, before humming and looking back into the distance. He followed your gaze, “They’re all going to make it there safely. Senku wouldn’t have it any other way. And that man of yours doesn’t seem like the type to die easily.”, he tried to comfort you.
In return, you offer a sad smile, “Yeah, you’re right. He always comes back to me.”, you pause with a shaky breath, trying to surpress the tears that only seem to dwell up when you talk about your fear, “But…There can always be something.”
“Gen! We need your help over here!”
Nodding in understanding, you urged him to go see what’s up, assuring him you’ll be fine in time. As soon as he left, you let yourself sink to the ground, pulling your knees to your chest. The bustling noise in the distance started to feel like static, leaving you alone in an unbearable silence. Or were you too deep in your own head to hear anything? Either way, it started eating at you. Gnawing on your heart and mind.
You didn’t notice the tears at first. Only when the hiccups began did you realise you were crying.
That dumb, dumb, idiot.

Architect!RE2R!Leon x Boss!Reader
Tags - fluff, making out (it's short tho), office romance
“Good morning everyone! Picked up some coffee so we can all start the day right!,” Rebecca cheerfully chirps as she enters the office. She stops by everyone’s desks, placing paper cups of steaming hot coffee with their names before knocking at your door, the company’s COO. “Come in!,” you call out. She enters the organized office, spotting you sitting on your office chair and turning your work computer on. She notices a steaming hot paper cup on your desk, along with a brown pastry bag. “Got you some coffee but turns out you’ve already got a cup in. Oops,” she says with an apologetic grin. “It’s fine. I could use the extra caffeine anyways,” you respond with a polite smile. She leaves the cup on your desk before turning back to the door, walking out the office when she spots Leon come in.
“Mornin’ Leon!” “Good morning, Rebecca!”
Rebecca walks over to her desk and decides to officially start her day, answering emails and editing the current contracts that've been assigned to the company. Soon, the noise of chatter is drowned out by the clickity-clack of keyboards and ringing landlines. The morning can get busy very soon, not that they mind; the company does a swell job of making sure its employees are doing alright and are managing to balance their personal and work lives. People pour in and out of Y/N’s office, hoping to get her opinion or approval on a project before having their ideas sent to the CEO (aka Y/N’s dad). Most of the time, their ideas align perfectly so her approval could be seen as a sign that he’ll approve it too. It’s now break and everyone rises from their seats to stretch and get up to grab a bite.
“I’ll go ask Y/N if she wants to go grab lunch with us,” Leon offers just as Rebecca gets up. Rebecca nods before responding, “Okay. I’ll go join the others already.”
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
“She’s busy consulting with the engineers and said she's sorry and will make it up to everyone with drinks one of these days,” Leon explains before digging into a breakfast bagel. Despite it being lunch time, he prefers to have breakfast foods.
“Did she ask for help? I can help her out since I’ve got a blueprint or two to review then I'm done” Claire offers. Leon shakes his head but says that he thinks she’ll accept Claire’s offer anyway. The group continued chatting over their respective meals until it got to the topic of their coffee consumption.
“My brother is a beast– out here chugging protein shakes and coffee. I’m surprised he isn’t having a heart attack whilst I’m out here palpitating with two cups,” Claire pipes in.
“I don’t know what’s worse: your brother’s caffeine consumption or the sheer amount of sugar and creamer Rebecca puts in her coffee,” Jill jokes, earning a playful smack to the shoulder from Rebecca. “At this point it’s 99% sugar and a measly 1% coffee. How you’re not diabetic is beyond me!”
“Life’s too short to not absolutely go crazy with sugar and creamer, let me have my fun!,” Rebecca retorts and earns good-natured laughter from the table.
“How about you, Leon? How do you like your coffee?,” Claire asks.
“I’m not too picky with coffee. I’ll take anything,” Leon responds.
“Hmm. You’re just like Y/N; I just get her whatever kind of coffee and she always takes it,” Rebecca responds.
“Y/N? Oh she doesn’t like or drink coffee,” Leon corrects. Jill nearly chokes on her muffin when Leon says those words, eyes slightly widened. “Really? She’s the first person I have ever come across that doesn’t like or drink coffee.”
“But she literally accepted all the coffees I got for her!,” Rebecca says. “Wait… what if she just accepted them to look polite or nice–”
“Knowing her, she probably did that to not hurt your feelings or something…,” Jill softly says.
“She could’ve told me she doesn’t drink coffee. I would’ve gotten her a hot cocoa instead,” Rebecca says. “Guys, do I look intimidating? What if she just took the drinks because my outgoing-ness is intimidating her? We do know she usually keeps to herself too–”
“You’re the least intimidating person I know, Rebecca,” Jill responds. “She might’ve done that because she felt kind of bad… or something– I don’t know–”
“And how do you know that, Leon?,” Claire asks with slightly narrowed eyes, leaning into the table while resting her head on her hand.
Now everyone in the table is sitting in silence, curious gazes focused on Leon as to how he knows that. You've never talked about her preferences in food and drink– it’s not even on the company website. They don’t think it’s ever been mentioned anywhere.
“Oh, you know– we talk,” Leon responds with a neutral tone. “Oh my God Leon you almost got yourself killed! Calm down, calm down. They won’t catch on,” Leon thinks to himself.
“Talk? Talk like how?,” Jill asks.
“‘Talk’ as in we’re just coworkers who decided to strike up a random conversation whilst working on a blueprint that one time,” Leon says. He would’ve looked calm and composed– unaffected even, if it wasn’t for the tips of his ears flushing pink and his subconscious leg jiggle. “What?” Leon asks as Rebecca and Claire shoot him smirks that scream “is it what we’re thinking?”. “Can’t a guy and girl talk like they’re just coworkers?”
“You have a point,” Claire replies but Leon doesn’t miss how her blue-green gaze falls on his pinkish ears. They decided to drop the topic, much to Leon’s massive relief. “That was a close one, Leon. Careful next time,” he thinks to himself. Well, you two did more than just talk that day– no, not in that way; you exchanged numbers, began hanging around each other more frequently until you two took secretly took things to another level. Since there was only 15 minutes left before their break was over, they decided to leave early and go up to their office.
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
“Hey baby,” you softly say as you walk over to Leon’s cubicle. The others had already gone, the office dark except for Leon’s spot. He had stayed overtime to finish up a model so he would be free for the weekend.
“Hi,” Leon softly said as he pressed a tender kiss to your cheek. “Stayed a little later to finish the playground but I don’t regret it one bit if it means some time spent with you.”
“Congrats for making my heart race a million miles per hour,” you giggle. Leon shoots you a flirty wink before he finishes up packing his bag. “Ready to go, milady?”
“Let’s go,” you respond. You two leave the dark office, looking around for anyone lingering. You part your hands from his temporarily, making sure no one catches you holding hands with an employee; it’s not exactly rule-breaking to be fraternizing with an employee but it is highly discouraged. More importantly, it’s not exactly the best of look to be caught in such an act especially when you’re the daughter of the head of this entire company.
“Coast clear?” Leon whispers, to which you nod. Giggling like two school children who just confessed their crushes to each other, you two make your way down the dark hallways hand in hand. Leon kept stealing glances at you, a nerdy but hopelessly in love smile plastered on his face. Despite the lack of lights, you could accurately guess that there’s a glimmer in Leon’s eyes whenever he looked at you like you’re the sun, which you kind of are since you lit up his world.
Not too long after, you two get in your car. After starting the engine, Leon suggested that you two take his car so he could open the door for you and be the one to treat you lavishly, to which you responded with a small nod and an “I’ll think about it”. Leon connected his phone to your car’s bluetooth speakers, going to his Spotify and picking out a playlist he made that reminded him of you. Upon hearing the lyrics of the song, a warmth crawled up your cheeks and manifested in the form of a soft pink glow. Seeing your reaction, Leon beamed brightly as he leaned back in his seat.
“You know it’s your birthday next week,” Leon says, breaking the comfortable silence that settled between you two.
“Yeah, it is. Why, you wanna know what I want for a gift?,” you ask.
“Maybe, maybe not.”
“Oh then I guess just wear a light pink ribbon on your hair and call yourself a gift. Your presence in my life is the best present ever.”
“God that’s so cheesy,” he says with a small laugh. He keeps his gaze trained on the tall buildings around you two because he knows he’s going to scream like a girl if he looks at you once more. “It’s not a bad suggestion though.”. After a few minutes, you two finally reach Leon’s condominium.
“Good night baby, see you tomorrow,” you say whilst pulling him in for a kiss.
“Night, Y/N. Text me when you get back, okay?,” he says. You nod before he finally waves bye and shuts the door.
You’ll definitely be sending him some texts.
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
After another entire week of staying overtime and finally finishing the mountain of work assigned to you, you finally get up from your chair to move your body a little bit. This day went great: meetings went smoothly, everything on your planner happened, and most importantly, it’s your birthday. Of course, your father and those close to him greeted you and though you didn’t mind if someone know (or doesn't know) your birthday, the gesture warmed your heart.
“Baby?,” Leon called out.
“Huh? Leon?,” you asked. He emerged from the dark, a dainty bouquet of pink and white tulips in his hand, along with a card. Just as you recommended last week, there’s a baby pink ribbon clipped on his hair.
“Oh you didn’t have to–”
“I didn’t have to but I wanted to,” he says before pulling you in for a slow, tender kiss.
“Happy birthday to my only girl.”
Words won’t ever show how truly thankful you are for this gesture so you show it through actions. You pull him in for a hungry kiss, hands travelling to his black tie to loosen it up. Leon places your gifts on your desk, his finally unoccupied hands going to his own tie to help you loosen it faster. You kick your heels off, legs wrapping around his waist as the kisses slowly become more heated and passionate. His hand travels to your blazer, nimble fingers quickly wo–
“Happy birthday, Y/N–”
“WOAH WHAT THE FUCK.”
“CLAIRE PLEASE DON’T DROP THE CAKE.”
“LEON! Y/N?!”
You quickly push Leon off of you and get back up, fixing your hair and feeling around your clothes for any unclasped buttons or pulled down zippers. Embarrassment rushes through your veins, your heart lodged in your throat. Leon’s embarrassed too– shimmery pink lip gloss smeared on his lips, blond hair ruffled, and his tie hanging loose around his neck. His entire face is red and suddenly it’s not so bad if the ground collapses and swallows him up (though he prefers if you swallow him up but now is not the time).
“Uh… hey guys!,” you chirp with an awfully fake smile.
“Hi guys– we were–,” Leon stammers, hand behind his neck.
“Hey guys, if you were busy… we can… we can wait outside…,” Jill awkwardly mumbles, eyeing the poorly hidden bouquet on the desk.
“Yeah… we can wait outside the building if it’ll be noisy too,” Rebecca adds, which causes Leon to almost choke on air and for you to stare at her discombobulated.
“NO– No guys, you can um– now is fine, I promise–,” you stammer. Leon follows suit, trying to make it look as if you two weren’t interrupted in the worst way possible.

crazy crushes - gojo satoru
Tumblr media
gojo x fem. reader
Summary: Gojo has a crazy way to show you he has a crush on you.
Tumblr media
The first time you step onto the ground of Tokyo Jujutsu High Gojo is away on a business trip. Yaga asked you to become a substitute teacher when the white-haired idiot goes away on missions, so that an incident like the one at the detention centre would not happen again. You quickly agree, you love teaching and being around kids that aspire to become strong Jujutsu Sorcerers. The principal is quick to introduce you to Satoru's precious first-years and they become fond of you in a short period of time as you are the exact opposite of the strongest: you are caring and gentle, you prioritise their well-being, rather than dumping them into dangerous situations without a care in the world. They all know Gojo cares as well, but he surely doesn't know how to express that correctly. You, on the other hand, are like a loving mama hen, always taking care of them by cleaning and bandaging their scars, waiting for them with warm dinner ready in the dorm kitchen and being a source of spiritual support they all lacked their whole lives.
When he finally comes back from his trip, Gojo expects his students to be overwhelmed with happiness. So he is surprised when all of his students are disappointed as he is the one to step into the classroom on a Monday morning instead of you. He questions their lack of enthusiasm and the kids start to talk about you as if you were some kind if a goddess. He is intimidated by the quick bond you formed with them, especially with Megumi, the one person he had trouble getting along with for the first couple of month of knowing him. He walks around campus that day with the sole purpose of running into you and introducing himself, wanting to see what the huge fuss was about.
He senses a foreign energy coming from the kitchen, so he walks that way masking his presence with his infinity. He observes from the doorway as you walk around the kitchen cooking something that smells amazing, your hips swaying lightly to the soft music blasting from your phone as you whistle perfectly in tune with the beat. Your hair is up in a messy bun, comfortable clothes hanging from your body. He can tell from a mile away that your body is perfect, he can also sense the sweetness of your perfume lingering around the room. Suddenly, your movements abruptly stop and you talk without turning around.
"Have your parents ever told you that it's not nice to spy on people, Gojo Satoru?"
You turn slightly, looking over your shoulder, your pretty eyes meeting his blindfold. And he knows he's completely doomed in that moment. You are the most gorgeous person he ever laid his eyes on and he is intimidated by the sheer amount of cursed energy coming from you. No one could sense his presence with his infinity on, he took pride in that aspect of his technique, but seemingly you could see through it without any problem. He wondered if you could see through his fun facade as well and the slight curve of your lips makes him sure that you do.
From that moment on, you not only take care of the kids, but him as well. You become a calming presence in his life, someone he can always rely on and he slowly starts to think that you have become the person who could fill the void Suguru left behind in his heart. However, one day as he observes the way Nanami keeps flirting with you and the way your cheeks blush from his sweet words, Gojo realises that he's irreversibly in love with you. He does a small dance when he finds out from Shoko that you have rejected Nanami's advances, but his smile falters as the talented healer tells him that you have feelings for someone else.
After that, he becomes a whole different person. Instead of annoying you all the time, he tries to be nice and a bit more distant. Instead of nagging you all day to spend some time with him, he keeps being professional and closed off. Instead of bringing you sweets from his trips he hands you paperwork, he stops complimenting your looks - something you could never guess wether it was a joke or he was serious about. His distant behaviour makes you sad and he doesn't realise that you liked him the way he was, because he is 100% sure that a perfect woman like you could never think of a chaotic idiot like him in a romantic context. So he tries to change - to become someone worthy of your attention.
One night, after he comes back from a long mission exhausted from fighting numerous special grade curses and he finds you hunched over your desk, quiet sniffles leaving you as your face is planted into the palms of your hands, his heart breaks from the sight.
"What's wrong?" he asks you blatantly, stepping closer to your desk with worry written all over his features. It's the first time you see him without anything covering his eyes and the pang in your heart feels even stronger.
"Nothing, Gojo-senpai." you answer between sniffles "Just a rough day. How was your mission?"
"It's not nothing, if it makes you cry, pretty girl." he says as he walk up to you, stroking your back soothingly.
"Please don't call me that..." you say, your voice barely above a whisper. But he hears it. And his heart breaks further.
"Why not?"
"Because you make my heart beat out of my chest every time you use a nickname like that on me, just to break it the next second by being all professional and closed off." you mutter without looking him in the eyes, too scared to do so.
"Y/n-chan, I've been trying to be more professional so that you would reciprocate the feeling I have for you. I thought someone as awesome as you are could never have feelings for the idiot I am, so I tried to be a decent man for once." he confesses and you look at him in disbelief.
"What kind of crazy way is that to express your feelings towards someone, Satoru? Why would you ignore someone you like?"
"I don't know, I'm not really good with these things." he says shyly, scratching the back of his head. He looks like a lost puppy, he seems genuinely sorry for hurting your feelings.
"You don't have to change the way you are to make someone like you, Gojo. If you do, then they're not the right person for you." you say softly.
"So can I take you out on a date, then?" he asks nonchalantly, his unapologetic persona returning. You smile upon hearing his words and you nod with a content expression on your face. "Oh, thank god! I was going crazy trying to be serious like Nanamin."

Rainbow Factory Wally (Walden) | (Welcome Home AU)
It was a normal day in the factory for all intents and purposes, making your daily rounds and supplying your husband with your infamous coffee whenever you needed to. And that’s why you found yourself in the breakroom, making a fresh pot of coffee for your caffeine addict of a spouse.
Your name was spoken softly from behind and you blinked, moving your head to peek over your shoulder to see the owner of the voice smile sweetly at you. Jeremy was an infamous flirt in the office, but you were spared due to the fact your husband very much owned this factory. “You look gorgeous today, you know.” He hummed, eyes raking over your body.
You raised an eyebrow. You were wearing a black turtleneck, a lab coat with your name, and leggings. You looked exactly like you always do, and it’s not like any curves you possessed could be seen over the baggy lab coat. Deciding to just play it off, you laughed. “I look how I always do.” You point out good naturedly, shooting him a rather amused look as you turned your body to look at him.
“Exactly.” He almost purred out the words, slinking closer to you with a sly smile. You have to admit the new found proximity did nothing but amuse you more. Jeremy was 5’5, rather bland, and wasn’t even the brightest. You found it absolutely amusing to think that he believes he can compete with your husband in anything.
“I see. Then thank you for the compliment.” You mused, turning back to pour the coffee into the “world’s most decent boss” mug you got him as a gag gift last christmas. Mixing in just the right amount of sweeteners, you turned. “Now, is there something I can do for you Jeremy?” you asked as you began to walk out, hearing his awkward footsteps signaling that he was following you.
“I know about you and the boss…” He trailed off, and you hoped for his sake that he wouldn’t say what you knew the next few words were. “But me and you could still happen.” Seemed he was dumber than you thought.
You were now outside Wally’s office, an amused smile painting your lips. “Oh, is that so?”
Jeremy must have been oblivious as to where you were, because he gently put his hand on your shoulder and proclaimed rather boldly “I’ve been in love with you, for a very long time now. Dare I say, longer than that man you call your husband.”
You sputtered then. He basically yelled that! Right outside Wally’s office. “I-”
A loud bang resonated as the door to the office swung open, effectively interrupting you, the hinges almost breaking at the sheer force he used to open the door. “What. Did. You. Just. Say.” Wide angry eyes met scared downcasted ones.
Jeremy looked like he regrets his decision very much right now, and you very dully felt a small tinge of sympathy but it was gone faster than it came.
“Nothing! I was just say-” Jeremey sputtered, trying to find a defense only to be interrupted crudely.
“Get your goddamn hand off my wife, and I’ll consider this as your letter of resignation.” He growled, grabbing his forearm and forcefully yanking the arm you weren’t even aware was still touching you off.
Jeremy, upon getting his arm released from a death grip that was sure to leave him bruised, ran away.
You couldn’t help but let laughter bubble out from your throat before clearing it. “Oh, that was something.”
Wally turned to you and growled again, grasping your jaw softly but roughly at the same time, angled your head up, and kissed you. The kiss left you breathless, your hand squeezing the coffee mug in surprise as he pulled away.
“You’re mine, dollface. And only mine.”

Astarion (BG3)
The tavern was bustling with life, music, and song as they normally do, and happiness threatened to suffocate you and your party as soon as you all stepped foot into the establishment. Mead, wine, and an assortment of other alcoholic beverages were held tightly in almost every person’s hand. You shrugged when your party gave you a questioning look, looking back over the tavern with a keen eye.
“Have fun?” Was all you supplied before walking to the barkeep for the first time of what would be many.
Karlach wasted no time in going to mingle with the other patrons, eager to relieve the stress of battle by telling tales of them to strangers who watched with eager eyes and ears.
Gale was never one for all this merriment, so he politely claimed a table in one of the few secluded corners as he normally does. That table would soon be taken up by Astarion as well, who was content to just watch you mingle with the people of the tavern.
Time flew by rather quickly, the drinks making it hard for you to truly grasp just how much had gone away from you. Astarion was readying himself to get up and cross the tavern to get to you, tell you that you and your party had spent a sufficient amount of time here, and that it was time to head back to camp for some rest.
But he was quickly blocked from you by two drows. Tall, dark, imposing, yet handsome in their own right. Nothing that compared to Astarion, not even your alcohol muddled mind thought so.
“Hello gorgeous.” The woman spoke, tone smooth with lust and desire. This weirded you out, as you did nothing to suggest you were wanting *that* kind of relief. You really just sat at the bar, talking with the barkeep and the man next to you.
“What’s a delicate flower like you doing with no company at a place like this?” She asked, hand moving to rest on top of your own that was laying on the solid surface of the bar.
You wrinkled your nose at the unwanted touch, but the female drow seemed to not notice or simply not care. You’re unsure which one was the truth, it could even be both for all you know at this point. Alcohol made it hard to discern anything really, and you found yourself craving the presence of your beloved.
The male spoke this time, his tone gruff despite him trying to sound sensual. “Perhaps we could keep you company for the night?”
Astarion’s blood boiled as he heard what those two heathens were saying to you. It took him months of carefully crafted flirts for you to even get comfortable with HIM flirting with you. And he was someone you had trusted enough to be a traveling companion and to watch your back. He knows that surely, when he sees your face it will be riddled with tell tale signs of uncomfort.
You cleared your throat, hoping to rid it of the bile that crept up it the more and more they talked and crudely flirted with you. “Ah, no.” You mumbled, eyes searching for your sanguine lover. “I’m taken.” you managed to slur.
The female drow cooed “That doesn’t have to mean anything, not for tonight at least.”
Astarion finally emerged right next to you, red eyes boring into the female drows. “Excuse me.” His voice, normally smooth and flirtatious, was anything but now. “I see you met my partner, exquisite aren’t they?” his tone softened as his hand went up to caress your cheek, cherishing the way you leaned into the touch immediately.
The female and male drow looked to each other before looking back at Astarion and smiling. “Why yes, yes they are.”
Astarion hummed, rubbing his thumb on your cheek absent of mind, before remembering these people dared to flirt with what was his. “How unfortunate for you that this masterpiece is all mine, yes?” He sounded calm and almost teasing, but his eyes showed just how much he wanted to murder them.
Deciding that words weren’t enough he delicately moved your head up so he could plant the sweetest kiss on your lips, which you eagerly returned with drunken enthusiasm that made his heart swell with love.
“See how eager they are for me?” He cooed, rubbing your cheek after pulling away. “That’s something you couldn’t even dream of receiving.” Picking you up bridal style for fear you drunk yourself into a stupor, he turned and left.
“That’s enough tavern for tonight my sweet.” He hummed softly as you laid your head on his shoulder
“Astar-” You mumbled sleepily, nuzzling your face into his neck “I love you- so so much.”
He chuckled, placing the softest kiss to your cheek “I know my darling, I love you too.”

Daemon and Rhaenyra Targaryen (HOTD)
Your family, the true Targaryens, were visiting the red keep for the first time in so many years. The difference of it all from the red keep you grew up in startled you to your core. It makes your mind ill to think this was only allowed to happen because of a usurper of your family’s rightful throne.
Really the entire castle makes you ill, absolutely sick to your stomach truthfully. So you were trying to find comfort in the place where you resided most of your innocent years. The garden. But even that was different now, the flowers you used to pride yourself on had all wilted and been changed. The color green makes you sick now.
While you were preoccupied in your musings of sadness and trepidation, a man had slinked his way beside you and broke the silence you relished in. “Good morrow, sister.”
You blinked and looked to your right, being met with Aemond. He was only your half brother, sharing your father’s genetics while looking all Hightower. His last name should have been hightower, yet you cannot claim to hate or even dislike him. Just a faint feeling of mistrust that had been planted since the night his mother had left a scar on your arm. “Aemond.” You greeted slowly, almost defensively. “Good morrow.”
His one eye scanned the garden ahead before going back to focus on you, a delicate and almost faux looking smile on his face. Or perhaps it was just too real. “How are you? It has been many moons since I last saw your beautiful face.”
You blushed despite yourself, compliments always left your cheeks the faintest of reds, even if you mistrusted the person who spoke them. “Kirimvose” You muttered, changing to High Valyrian. You don’t know why, it just felt too right in this situation. And instinctual gut feeling that you have long since learned you should heed.
“You are welcome.” He hummed, eye suddenly showing keen interest “Do you normally use High Valyrian interchangeably like that? What a smart lady you are, Mandia”
It was your turn to be surprised, he knows of the language of your family? Even being half bred like he is? “Yes, mostly for my children to pick it up better.” You stressed the word children to him, as if he could forget. One of your sons did give him that painful affliction afterall.
“Ah yes, my nephews.” He mused, not looking at you anymore but through you. “How are they doing these days?”
You smiled, your first genuine one not born of needing to be respectful to a lord or lady. Aemond thought it looked beautiful on you, like the finest dress. “Wonderful. My boys Luke and Jace are bonding excellently with their dragons.” You hummed, motherly love oozing from your tone. “And little Joffery is quite taken with the babies.” you put a hand on your stomach “Especially our baby Visenya. I think he likes having a baby sister to protect.”
He was surprised “You were with child?”
You nodded “Maybe she’ll grow up to steal Vhagar from you.” You chuckled, hand over your mouth.
Aemond laughed as well “I’m sure she’ll be a brilliant rider, just like her Muña”
“You flatter me.” Your blush grew a tad bit redder. Aemond felt a pang of affection that he was able to make that happen. You were too good for his sister and uncle, deserving of someone more well read with a dragon to match the size of your own.
The sound of a throat being cleared interrupted his musings of what he could have had with you, had his father stepped up and demanded you wed him. “Is this a small reunion?” Daemon joked, leaning on a wall. His eyes looked anything but full of mirth, annoyance and possessiveness shined brightly in his eyes like dragon fire.
“Uncle.” Aemond scoffed out the word like it meant little to him. And it probably did, you know he was never close with Daemon. Jealousy slithered in his veins like blood did, burning him.
“What are you and my wife talking about, hm?” He asked casually, walking leisurely to you before wrapping his arms around your waist and pressing a soft kiss to your temple, looking down with fondness Aemond could never imagine being gazed at with. “Hello my love.”
“Hello Daemon.” You giggle gleefully, resting your head against his own while your arms go to rest on top of his. Aemond’s veins burned worse.
“Simply catching up, it’s been quite a while since she has been to the red keep.” He spoke, jealousy dripping from his words like venom, eye glaring at his uncle’s arms that was wrapped where he longed his to be. Daemon tightened his grip slightly. “I was just about to offer a tour of the grounds, much has changed.” he smiled twistedly at Daemon, using that as a taunt.
Daemon narrowed his eyes, and somewhere you could hear the roar of Caraxes and Vhagar. You hope that they aren’t fighting because their riders have bad blood. “That won’t be needed. She grew up here just as you did Aemond.”
You soon grew uneasy, eyes shifting to the side, “I have.” You assented.
Daemon smirked unbeknownst to you, smug because it was him who you would always back. Always Daemon, never Aemond.”Of course my lady, apologies.”
You smiled uneasily “No need for apologies Aemond. It was a kind offer.” That soothed the burn within his veins slightly. You thought he was kind.
You felt yourself almost suffocating before your lovely wife walked into the garden with Alicent “Ah, my beloveds.” Nrya smiled kindly at you two, eyes shining with love before she nodded to Aemond respectfully.
“It is almost time for the feast, you two would be wise to get ready.” She looked at you knowingly and winked.
Daemon let out a hearty groan “yes yes my wife, very well.” he let his arms fall from you and stepped back, offering you his hand.
“Shall I help you get ready, my darling?” He asked teasingly, eyes glinting with lust as you laughed and took his hand. Rhaenyra already has an excuse for both of your tardiness, rest assured. Cannibal will have to take blame for your lack of proper walking.

Wanderer (genshin)
Wanderer was stuck wandering, as one does, around the bustling streets on Liyue. It was the lantern rite, something you had continuously told him you had wanted to go to many times and he decided there was no harm in it. How crudely wrong he was, as soon as he entered the city of contracts with you, the crowd had swept you away from him.
So here he was trying to find you like a puppy separated from their owner, and it continuously made him more and more irritated as more time passed that you were not in his eyesight. His hands, that were balled into fists, relaxed immediately upon hearing the soft sound that was your laughter. It was quiet, barely heard above the chattering of these imbeciles that surrounded him, but he was able to follow the sweet sound where he found you with some man.
The man was short, close to Wanderer’s own height, with white hair with a red streak. He looked to hail from Inazuma. Anger boiled deep within his veins, eyes glaring at the man who dared to talk to you.
“Your eyes shine like the lanterns in the sky, your skin as smooth and unbroken as the purest piece of porcelain.” he mused, smiling softly at your red face. Wanderer has never said anything close to that to you, always just quick grumblings about how you looked decent. And it didn’t bother you much anymore, you grew to love him after all. But having this kind of attention on you was thrilling simply because it was new! Kazuha’s eyes bore into yours with a soft intensity that oddly fit in this moment. But he was simply supposed to help you find your beloved, not make poetry about you. No matter how lovely it made you feel.
Wanderer barged over, not sparing the man a glance as he grasped your wrist in his hand and dragged you away. He could barely hear you say your goodbyes to the traveler from Inazuma over just how angry he felt. Were you going to leave him? Go to someone who he just witnessed really could treat you better? No, he won’t allow it. You're his, you’ve been his for centuries now, and if you could remember and love him despite all he has done in his past then you must be his soulmate.
He hissed out your name, stopping in a darkened alley before pushing you against the wall, trapping your head between his arms as he leered at you. “What do you think you were doing, you idiot.” this wasn’t the way he wanted to do this, not at all. He wanted to have a softer approach but for some reason he just can’t. He loves you, he promises he does. He just can’t show it.
“Scara…” you cooed, hands going up to cup his face “I was looking for you.” You assured gently, thumb massaging his cheek as he ever so slightly leaned into your hold. “Kazuha offered to help me find you since I’m so unfamiliar with Liyue Harbor.” You could always see through his brass actions, being able to see the softer side through all the boundaries he put around himself to hide in.
“Is that so?” His words lacked his mocking bite that it would have for anyone else “Then why was he flirting with you?” He asked, pressing a chaste kiss on your thumb.
You giggled, a sound that made him relax more. “Maybe he just thinks I’s pretty. But you're the only one for me.”
He smiled then, liking the concept that you knew you were only “Yes, yes I am.” He hummed, cupping the hand you had on his face with his own.
“You’re mine, not even the gods could take you away from me.” He sighed happily as he felt your lips start pecking around his face, closing his eyes in bliss. “They could try, but I would move the very heavens to keep you by my side. Always.”
“And forever.” You finished as Scara finally connected his lips with yours, savoring the rare softness in which he kissed you with.

Leliana (DA; I)
The sky was clear, not a cloud dotted the open sky of Skyhold and the sun beamed down in soft warm rays. You were sitting on the railing of the balcony that belonged to the upper tower that housed your partner Leliana, as well as her ravens and spies. It was a cool day, which wasn’t abnormal seeing as this stronghold was built into the mountains. Construction was going very well, the ramparts were now open to patrol and the rooms were looking better and better.
The inquisitor was running around down on the lower level, and you watched from your vantage point with amusement. You were unsure why they were in such a hurried state, seeing as there wasn’t really anyone rushing them in the least. But you’ll leave them alone about it for now.
Looking up as you heard the door clank open, a scout you had never seen before stepped out and joined you on the terrace. Turning your body to face him, you tilted your head in confusion. Normally Leli’s spies were too busy to do all that much around Skyhold. Perhaps he was just recouping after a tough mission.
“Hello madame, nice evening ain’t it?” He had a strong Fereldan accent, so he was from there and arguably is mostly stationed there because the accent hasn’t faded even a bit.
“Yes, it is.” You spoke skeptically, normally one scout isn’t stationed at one nation for too long, lest they be found out and compromise the entire spy network your lover has spent years perfecting.
“The nightingale wishes me to look after you.” He saluted, before going back to ease and leaning on the wall.
You raised a brow, why would you need to watch over here of all places? Leli was right through that door, and there isn’t many places of entry here that aren’t very loud.
“I see.” You doubt grew, but you would give him the benefit of the doubt. Your Leli was very paranoid, and with good reason you suppose. It must be hard to have all those enemies, those known and unknown that are hiding in the shadows with a dagger or poison.
“You're beautiful, you know.” He broke the silence again, your lack of an answer must not have been deterring at all for the spy. “A true masterpiece.” he mused.
“Thank you.” You were starting to get bored now, eyes lidding due to boredom. Any second now.
With tactful grace the door opened silently, you could hear the faintest of footsteps take 3 steps before pausing. Another minute of the spy not noticing her, she coughed. It was fake and sounded way too smooth and dull for it to be real.
That made the man jump, his attention snapping to your lover. “Lady Nightingale!”
“Charts.” Her smooth voice riddled with Orlesian accent was sour sounding now. Like she ruined her new pair of shoes in the blood of darkspawn. “At ease, were you?”
His eyes looked everywhere but her as his body froze up under her intense scrutiny “Forgive me, lady nightingale.”
“I’ll see what to do with you.” She stated dismissively, waving him away with her hand “Now run along, I’m sure Charter will find some use for you in the meantime.”
He did not need to be told twice, quickly exiting the balcony with a loud slam to the door. “Lousy company, my dearest?” she teased gently with a small, walking next to you and letting you lean on her.
“Somewhat.” You agreed, resting your head on her shoulder and you looked to the mountains. “Seemed tired. Have him running?”
“He’s new.” She shrugged gently as to not disturb you. “Fresh out of redcliff.”
“I could tell he was Fereldan, his accent is very noticeable.” You hummed, hand coming out to trace random little patterns on her arm. “Strong.”
“It is.” She agreed. “We will have to rid him of it before we send him out in the field.”
You raised a brow “He’s that new?”
“Yes. he is training under Charter at the moment, and hopefully she will be able to help.” Leli slowly removed herself from you.
“I have to go my beloved. Work is neverending when you’re trying to save the world.” She hummed and kissed his cheek delicately.
You sighed but nodded “I know my love. I’ll see you tonight?”
She smiled sadly “I’ll see you tonight.”
You sighed again as she walked away.

Loba
It was duos day! A glorious chance to win with whoever you shall get teamed with to achieve glory and fame. On a bigger note then being a legend already grants you.
You were paired with one of the newer Legends. New Castle you think his name was, but you can’t be bothered to remember.  He seemed to be quite sweet on you, much to Loba’s irritation. You were hers goddamnit! Why couldn’t he see that.
So here you were, on the dropship talking to your duo as wells as your other friends like Lifeline, Octane, and Bangalore.
“Are you excited, amigo? I mean you are with the newbie, so me and Lifeline will take it easy on you if we find you.” Octane laughed, patting you on the shoulder affectionately.
“I’ll be the one taking it easy on you, tane!” You protested with a giggle.
New Castle clasped his hand onto your other shoulder and laughed deepily. “I promise I won’t be any dead weight to a beauty like them.”
High heels clacked against the iron flooring of the ship, you were approaching your destination and would soon have to prep to get ready to drop and land for the games to begin. You assumed it was Loba, so you two could have your usual good luck kiss but was surprised when it was Wattson. Loba’s partner.
“Hey.” She smiled and waved “Loba wanted to say she’s too busy to see you before the drop, so she’ll be looking extra hard for you on the ground.” She spoke cheerily.
You blinked. This was the first time she’s done something like this. Was she really so jealous that she’s taking it out on you now? Does she think that you’re too receptive about it? Was that the problem.
Wattson frowned “Are you alright?”
You shook your head and offered your best reassuring smile that you possible could. “Yeah, I’m fine. Just a little disappointed ya know? But you get heading back Wattson, I don’t want you to miss drop.”
She looked at you, calculating and unsure before her frown only deepened. But she nodded “Yeah ok. See you around, yeah?” and with that she left as quick and out of nowhere as she came.
Finally it was time to drop, the arena was Olympus. Easy enough, it was your personal favorite because your abilities served you every well here. You don’t how New castle was going to fare though, so you kept an eye on him. Even if he is part of your relationship problems, he was still your duo and you still wanted to win.
“I’m the jump master.” You called out, laughter bubbling in your throat “Hope you brought an extra pair of pants newbie.”
“Wh-” he was cut off as you unexpectedly jumped, a yell bubbling out from his throat and into the air that you two were descending in.
You chose a little area that you knew has enough supply bins to give you both some weapons and a few syringes. Maybe a better evo shield too, hopefully.
“So.” he started “How do you prefer to fight?” he asked as he picked up a Hemlock Burst AR.
“I’m a sniper.” You spoke quietly and hushed, hoping he’d take the hint and do the same. Enemies can be anywhere, and with Wraith’s abilities you wouldn’t even see her coming till she was here guns blazing. She was smart, and has good hearing.
He hummed “So I’ll need to man the front. Can do.”
You rolled your eyes, picking up a wingman and some sniper ammo. “You better. Though you probably won’t see enough action. I’m a damn good shot.”
“Better be.” he laughed quietly, loading his burst.
“There’s a care package near us.” You reported, looking to where it was going to land. “Let’s head over.”
And so you did, you getting your favorite gun ever the Kraber, and New Castle getting a\\ prowler. With these new found weapons and some new Evoshields after some kills, you two quickly climbed the latter till it was the last 3. Only six other legends at most.
You were kill leader with a stunning 12 kills, and perched high up as you looked through the enhanced scope on your Kraber. You killed Octane and Lifeline before they even knew what happened, same with bloodhound and Fuse. You killed Ash but Revenant got away, and Bangalore and Valkyrie left as soon as they heard a shot from your Kraber, knowing that with your aim it would be a death sentence.
Caustic and Mirage were easy to pick off when they got distracted arguing with one another, and you killed Wattson as well.
So it was probably Loba and Revenant still out there. New Castle was antsy before you heard it. Revenant’s totem and gun shots. He must have found Loba in one of the buildings, and given their history it’s unsurprising he would waste his ult on her.
Clicking a button, a visor was put over your eyes and you could clearly see that Loba was the victor. 1 squad left, it was just her. You felt bad about this, of course. But as soon as she poked her head out, you were the victors.
The follow up party was the usual, and you were looking for Loba and of course you found her. You were the best sniper ever seen, your senses honed completely. So when you heard her and turned the corner to apologize, you saw the last thing you had ever wanted to see.
Loba and Valkyrie were kissing.

You are in his apartment.
How the fuck did you end up in his apartment?
And is that– yes, that’s his arm, laying heavy on your naked waist.
Fuck, is all you can think, raising your head from the oh so soft pillow while blinking your tired eyes awake. This is not how you planned to spend your holiday, but alas, there you are. Under his soft, striped sheets that, moments ago, you held onto for dear life as you moaned his name so prettily. That, you are sure, is something he would love to talk about once he is up, and that is why you start stirring, slowly moving despite the anxiety rising up your throat having you ready to run. It’s still quite dark, the cold, winter days taking their time with sunrise, but you could see enough with the dewy shine coming in through the sheer curtains. Your underwear is thrown by the end of the bed, and somehow, you still manage enough strength in your legs to drag it up to where you can reach with your hands. Unfortunately, your body is trapped under his weight, half on top of you and half taking every little free space available, and you can’t really move too abruptly or else he’ll wake up and you’ll be forced to face a reality you’re not quite ready to.
You’ll be forced to face Lee Minho.
“Oh come Y/N, are you really back on that dating app?” Sam asks, laughing her guts out over the cup of coffee that has long gone cold. “You didn’t even last the month!”
And she is right– last time you deleted that god forsaken app was three weeks ago, with the promise of taking a break while things at work started to pick up. Cue to now, 21 days later and counting, and you are back on it, swiping left and right whenever you feel the odd tingle of boredom creeping in. It’s an easy distraction, is what you always say; the amount of men in that app giving you a bit of a power high at the opportunity for choice, but the conversations bringing you way back down to the sad reality of the dating world. In between ghosting people and being ghosted, finding ‘the perfect match’ is impossible. For those that claim that they found true love on such places, you simple smile and nod– there is no point in debating your beliefs on modern if they are living their own happy ending. All you can do then is bubble a little in your jealousy, pretending is not big deal.
“Let me see your profile,” Sam is one of your closest friends, and definitely your biggest enabler. “Are you still using that photo of you I like? The one in the red shirt with– yes, you are, amazing.” Her feedback is overall positive, from the pictures, to the prompts, to the profiles of the people you matched with. “Oh! Miss dating app has 23 new likes! Let’s check them out, I’ll swipe– no. No, no, no, no way… right? No way!”
You are not sure what she’s talking about until you catch a glimpse of your phone in her hand. And there he is, that same photo you had swiped right on two years ago. Black and white– a dramatic flair, you’re sure– with him in the centre, smirking in a way that it seems almost taunting. It’s like he hasn’t changed at all, like time stopped when it came to him, and you can’t help but gasp in shock. Your hands are trembling when you grab the phone from your friend, bringing it closer to you in a way that very much so said you didn’t believe your eyes. “Holy shit.”
Two years. “Holy fucking shit.”
Two years without talking to each other. Without seeing each other. Without texting. “Holy shit, it’s Lee Minho.”
“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” You mutter like a crazy woman, and it gets on his nerves. It would get on his nerves, that is, if he was awake. Minho likes to tease you; he likes to push you away only to make the pull that much more appealing. And you fall for it, every single time, no matter how many times before you promise you won’t.
The routine is the same, as if you two are following a script. You get to his place– he never have and never will step foot into you apartment– and you text him. It feels oddly detached to ring his doorbell and announce your arrival, so a message is more than enough. The first thing he does is basically roast you for being unable to open his door, and really, who is he kidding? That old thing is so stuck in place you’re a bit surprised he’s able to have guests over. You try to tell him so, but he just clicks his tongue in that condescending way that makes your eyes roll as you follow him inside.
As always, the apartment is impeccable. He might be many things, really, with annoying being one of them, but the man is neat. The floor is clean, the lighting is perfect, the music in the background washes over you like calming waves trying to still your racing heart. Minho has this power over you, making you nervous in a way that no other man ever has, even if this is not your first encounter… by far. But you don’t show. Actually, you refuse to show, purposefully acting a bit too nonchalant about being there at all, loving how you can see it ticking him off by the second.
But before that– before the flirting, before the fucking, before the sneaking around with your underwear in your hands, there was the game. And boy, did you hate playing that fucking game.
Hey :D
What do you want, Minho?
What do I want?
I don’t know! I have a lot of things to say sorry for! :)
So… sorry! I acted like an immature dick back then.
I had other reasons to behave the way I did, but I don’t want to use them as excuses and just wanted to apologize
Apologize? You want to apologize after two years… on a dating app?
Well, okay… Uh, thank you, I guess? You did act like an immature asshole and I appreciate your apology.
But you do have my number, so I’m a bit confused as to why you just didn’t text me?
I do have your number, but… sometimes all we need is a push, you know?
I got this app yesterday and you were literally the third profile that showed up. Seeing your face again felt like a punch to the gut haha
And I thought I’d just say that if I could go back and do it all over again, I’d be better. For you. You were never anything but nice and understanding, and I should’ve treated you better.
So if you ever feel like… trying again… I’d love to give it a shot.
Are you serious, right now?
With all due respect, Minho, you gave me no reason to want to try and give it a shot. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the apology and I hope you are good and happy, but there is no way in hell that I’d ‘try again.’
Just thinking of the messages has you cringing. It was probably the stupidest thing you’ve convinced yourself of– the fact that you wouldn’t fall for his pretty words. It’s like he has a way with them that truly makes you wonder if he’s in the wrong profession. You tell him that, too, saying he should have been a poet or a fiction writer; the pictures he paints to you with his words do look better in your head, after all.
It takes him five days to get into your head… by literally doing nothing. After the conversation dies, with many more attempts of ‘let’s try again’ and empty ‘I miss you’s, you feel like you’re on a runner’s high. You feel like you’re on top, like you’re the winner of this stupid game you two always end up playing. But then he doesn’t text again. No ‘good morning’ or ‘how are you?’. No ‘thinking of you’ and definitely no begging for you wonderful, amazing presence to be back in his life. Now, it’s a little foolish to believe he’d ever do any of those– not even when you two were actually dating, two years ago, did he do that, so why now? What’s different now?
Well, to start, you. You are different, and he knows it. You’re grown now, more mature than you were. You are smarter, too, despite falling for the same words you feel for before. And now, you want different things too– no more silly ideas of a perfect relationship; no more giving your heart away in a whim, no more letting him handle you like a little stupid toy, no more wanting to call him when things get tough. All you want now– more like all you need, really– is some relief. Things have been hard… and that is putting it lightly. Work is hell, the winter is harsh, and life is just… a mess. So yes, safe to say you are desperate for some sort of soothing relief, looking to ease that growing tension on your shoulders.
Hence the dating app.
Going on dates is harder than you remember, when you begin again, but you simply amount the exhaustion to work and push yourself to get past your door, and out onto the street. It’s like you have a schedule for your free time as well as one for work– Hyojoon Friday night at the bar, Juyeon Saturday afternoon for lunch, Mark Sunday evening for an early dinner, and the list goes on and on and on. A few are first dates only– actually most of them are– but the ones that make it to a second or even a third date remain as that. A second or a third. As bad as it is to say, none seem to excite you as much as Minho did. Some are boring, and those are, oddly enough, the ones you try to stick to the most. If they are boring, you think, they won’t surprise you with any hurtful realisations of how you are not enough, or how they are better alone, or how they ‘can have some fun, but otherwise, just don’t have time.’
And it’s one of these boring ones, the ones you want to work so badly, that is the last drop in your very, very full bucket.
“And what do you think of climate change?”
You try so badly to ignore the itch in your hand, making you want to grab your phone and check that useless app again. You have your notifications off as a way to not allow an obsessions to arise but it’s futile and, honestly, quite naive to believe you’re not going to overthink every little thing that man said; and so you check, again and again, to make sure you don’t miss a message you know it’s not coming. It has been two days since he sent you anything and yet, you still check, and check, and check. The funny thing is that you meet Jeongin on the same app that Minho reached you on, but unlike Minho, your first date with Jeongin is one that you count the seconds to end.
“Climate change?” You repeat, eyes wide a bit in surprise. There is a smile on your lips, stiff and so well trained that, at this point, you don’t think it’s even believable. “I worry about it, of course.”
“But you eat meat?” He asks. The glint in his eyes tell you that he finds amusement in caging you against a wall. “That’s not very environmentally conscious.”
“No, I suppose it’s not.”
The close-lipped smile and the way your eyes discreetly check your wrist watch should have been enough, but he still manages to drag you to a coffee shop, running from the rain that poured all over you two as you marched out of the park. Tomorrow is a Monday and you have a presentation to prepare for, but still, he ignores you. And talks, and talks, and talks. By the time you make it home, you barely have any energy left to re-read your slides before passing out in the couch.
Date two isn’t much better, but at least it is a nice day and there are some musicians out playing in the park to keep you entertained as you two sit in complete silence. He’s not a chatty one, and you’re kind of tired of putting so much effort in and getting nothing back, so when you get home after that, you promise to not go out with him again. It’s a bit of an ego trip, how much he tries to contact you for a date you’ll know he’ll silently through, but you keep up with your dedication to your peace of mind. It’s not that deep, once you think about it. All this guy knows about you is the basic stuff– what you work with and how busy it keeps you. You take ages to respond to his message, and yet he still tries, and, at one point, he tries too hard.
It’s more the joke he makes than anything. You are mid report writing when you get a notification about an Instagram account trying to send you a message.
Hey Y/N, found you.
Who is this?
Kai!
Oh! Hi :) hahah how did you find me?
Took me hours lol
After that you just tell him that you’re not really ready to date and that you’re too busy, but it was lovely meeting him. After that, you get scared, and tired, and defeated. It’s like no matter what you did, you still couldn’t feel safe. No matter how many times you went out with them, how many chats over coffee you had, how many slightly intrusive questions you asked… it was never enough. It was still strange and new and unfamiliar and, quite sadly, unsafe. The slight touches have you flinching and the hungry looks make your curl inwards. Dating is hard for you, mainly because you’re not adventurous or fearless, quite the contrary– you are very, and with all the right, paranoid.
So when you text Minho, on your way home, regretting every words typed, you know that despite breaking your heart and acting like a class A idiot, he is, and will always be, familiar.
Familiar. Yes, Minho was familiar— everything about this situation was fucking familiar. The way that you hurriedly got dressed, the way that you walked on your tippy toes in hopes to make less noise, the way that, when you did make noise, you flinched, looking at the door in panic. Waking him up is not an option. Throughout the night, multiple times he tells you about how busy he is; how he has to write a speech for work, and how he has to present in front of a very important crowd, and how he is oh so nervous to do what he always does. And multiple times through the night, you nod and smile and say that ‘everything will be okay’, even if you don’t quite know what you are nodding and smiling about.
Is it because you’re there with him? No, that’s not it. There was a time Minho made you happy; a time in which the aftertaste of him lingered in your lips and you smiled, wide and unabashedly, every time your tongue poked out to lick your lips. A time in which the smell of his cologne that clung to your sweater would make you blush at the memories of limbs intertwined on the couch and whispered words floating in the air. Yes, there was a time in which Lee Minho made you happy. But that time is now long gone.
“Why are you here, then?”
And isn’t that the question of the hour? Why are you there? On his couch, laughing with a cup of wine in hand, retorting every little quip he throws your way. There are quite a lot of them– Minho is a man that likes being right, he likes being on top… in all facets of life. Winning, for him, is extremely important, and you wonder just how much he’s willing to sacrifice for that first place position in a competition with no one else but himself.
Actually, you know how much he’s willing to sacrifice. You know it very well. “I was bored,” You shrug, taking a sip of your glass. “And horny.” It’s no secret why you’re there. Or at least, it shouldn’t be. You know he’s trying to get a rise out of you, as he always does– something about how cute you look when you’re all flustered and annoyed– and you wonder if he knows how cuter you can get when you’re excited and driven. You wonder if he knows how much you can talk about something you love, instead of having to talk about something irrelevant. You wonder if he knows you at all and it’s quite depressing to even question that, chuckling to yourself at the thought.
Of course he doesn’t.
In some odd self-defense against yourself, trying to ease the admonishing conscientious voice in your head, you tell yourself that his laughter is nice. It’s quite loud and free and his shoulder wiggle in amusement, and you like when he laughs. The same way you like when Sam laughs, or when your flatmate laughs, or when your work teammate laughs… the same way you like when anyone you care for or about laughs. And this is not news to you, you’ve always known you care for Minho. His opinion matters to you, and his words, as fake as they can be, still get to you. You might be blinded by youthful impulses and thoughts of immediate satisfaction, but you are definitely not an idiot– you see reality, but you wilfully ignore it for a few hours or so. Minho allows you to do that, and it’s quite a relief to allow yourself to do it, too.
The moment he sits next to you is impactful. The air stills, and it’s more out of expectation than anything else– will he make a move now? Later? There is no dance in between the two of you, as ironic as that sounds, but more of a game of who can surprise who. He enjoys the moment he touches you first, you know he does; it’s the smirk on his lips that gives him away. He adores tugging you closer, even if it ends up with you two crampled up in awkward positions on his couch. And he lives for the moment of the first kiss of the night.
It starts like it always does– a simple touch of lips, a bit of space for reassurance, because Minho is many things, but he is not forceful; and then the lunge. You smile everytime he does it and maybe you’re at fault for how smug he looks about it, but it doesn’t really matter. You like the lunge, you love it, even; it appeals to something inside of you, a need to be needed, to be wanted, that has you putty in his hands with one single move.
There is time.
You convince yourself that you still have time, and that maybe rushing around the empty apartment at 7 in the morning is not needed. Minho sleeps like a log, and unless you break something, he’s not waking up. And even if you break something, he might not wake up… or he might just not care. The later hurts a little, but you’re used to being hurt by him and you accept that you have no one else to blame but yourself… after all, you’re the one that told him you wanted something like this– casual, noncommital, stress free.
All in all, the plan is supposed to be fail proof. It’s that youthful impulsive behaviour, you see, and you are quite embarrassed to admit it, but you are not, in your core, a casual person. You are not noncommital and stress free. If anything, you are probably the most commital and stressed person you know, dedicating a full 110% of yourself to everything you do. It’s why you are always so tired, so burnt out… it’s why you avoid, with everything you have, debates and discussions. You just don’t have the energy to do all that anymore. You are still young, but you’re not stupid, anymore, and that’s what changed.
Sitting on the couch as you pull your sweater down, you sigh. “What the fuck am I doing?” It’s laughable, the amount of times you sat on that couch and asked yourself that exact question. Your friends don’t even want to hear about this anymore; they get annoyed, with you, with the situation, with him, and it’s always the same. 'You’re too good for him' or 'he doesn’t deserve you.' They are not wrong, but there’s only so many times you can try to tell them that you know that. You know; you know better than they ever will, and as much as you embrace their annoyance as love, you’re annoyed too. You want to vent too. You want to laugh about stupid shit Minho does too. You want to make all the mistakes you just weren’t allowed to make when you were supposed to make them, and he is definitely one of them. You want to not have to think about everything al the time, to be right all the time, to make the smart choice all the time. You want to simply not think all the time, and better than anyone else, Minho lets you not do that.
“Arms up.”
It is easy to ignore the bossy tone of his voice when his mouth is working on your neck, kissing, licking, biting. It feels good– it always feels good and, sometimes, it feels too good. Right now, however, it just… feels good. Feels peaceful and serene. It’s like time doesn’t matter when you’re kissing him, like all you have to do is follow his lead and not think and you love that. You love that feeling, even if you don’t love him. “Good girl,” He whispers, smiling as he pulls your sweater over your head.
It’s cold outside. Really cold, actually, and you shiver the moment the air hits your skin, goosebumps littering your arms as you shiver. Minho is on it, though, warm hands touching you all over, spreading a path of fire through your back and stomach and arms and breasts. “Cold?” He asks, and it’s a stupid questions, but it makes you giggle. These are the moments that are okay to pretend… okay to pretend he cares, with his hands tracing patterns all over until your bra goes missing, your pants are open, and his fingers are slowly brushing against your wet underwear. With his voice, mellow and soft, whispering sweet nothings and everythings against your ear, calling you all the names he knows you like to hear. With his restrain, cock hard against his jeans but not rushing or pushing until he knows you’re good and ready for him.
The thing about his house is that, as much as his living room is this sea of mood lighting and comfort, his windows run from the floor to the ceiling. You dream of the day you’d be brave enough to fuck him right there, on the same couch you two always start but never end– but right across the street is a bar, filled to brim every night you’re there, almost as if he had invited a crowd to watch you crumble at his fingertips. “Room,” You gasp, air being knocked out of your lungs just as his fingers tug your underwear to the side, teasing your entrance while playing with your clit. It’s amazing, how he moves his hand in the little space your pants allow him to, but with every push and pull of his fingers inside you, you gasp. Minho knows your body just like you know his– he knows what you like and it just so happens, he likes it too. Likes seeing you like that, breathless and limp; likes kissing you as you moan his name, wiggling on his lap as you make out on his couch. Likes when you beg him, to go to the room, to speed it up, to make you cum. He likes being in power, you assume, as much as he might not like you.
“You wanna go to the room?” He chuckled, speeding up his movements in a way that has you too distracted to event think. “Not a fan of exihibitionism, are you?” You would have laughed if that wasn’t the exact moment he chooses to pull his hand out, fingers dragging up, up, up to your clit for a little tease. A taste of what you can you have if you just let him work. “Come on, let’s go.” But before he can even take a step towards the familiar room, you tug him by the collar for a kiss, filthy and wet, and you basically rip his shirt off of his body. He is soft and hard at the same time, pun intended. For a man, he takes a lot of care of himself, and you envy the clear and soft skin of his chest, feeling self conscious about the blemishes you know you have. It’s an anxious impulse to pick at your arms, and it’s times like these that makes you cuss are your longish nails.
You forget all about it when he moans at the feeling of those same nails scratching down his chest, stopping just below his bellybutton. These moments are rare, you never have a chance to have some resemblance of control in how things unfold between you two, but something about it makes your eyes twinkle… and you want more. “Fuck, Y/N, you’re so hot.” And you are– you feel like you are and that’s all that matters as you pop the button open, making space for your hand to slide down, under pants and underwear, to grab a hold of him. “Oh…”
There’s a draft coming from the room, where he insists on sleeping with the window upen as snow covers the entire street outside in white, and you shiver almost the same way you did last night. Except this time, you don’t have his sweaty, overheated body on top of yours, and it’s not as pleasant anymore. You’re not sure how long you’ve been sitting on that couch, but you do know it’s time to get up and go. At one point or another, Minho will notice the empty space next to him in bed, and you don’t wish to be there to find out if he cares enough to come look for you or not.
You grab your jacket as if it’s made of glass. He hangs them neatly at the front door, which is right next to the room entrance, and you are scared to even step on his wooden floors. If the wood gives you away, then you are not sure you’ll have the guts to face him again. Usually, when you leave like this, doing the classic Irish goodbye and disappearing for a couple of weeks or so until someone falters. To be fair, so far, t’s an equal score. You wonder if there is an unspoken agreement between you two that dictates whose turn is it to text first… last night, it had been him.
“Fuck!” You moan, and just like before, you wiggle in place in a silent plea. Sometimes, in your opinion, Minho takes too long with his teasing, but you know it’s on purpose. Like how he is right now, brushing the tip of his dick between your folds. If it wasn’t for the condom, you’d feel the way he leaks in excitement. But alas, that’s one level of intimacy you are not, and never will be, ready to have with him. Someone, maybe, just not… him. You will never give yourself that fully to Lee Minho, because you did, once upon a time two years ago, and it was a struggle to get yourself back. “Minho, please, please just– oh my god…”
He’s a calculated lover. He knows just when to push and pull, and just then, as you beg and buckle your hips into him, hoping to feel that delicious, burning stretch of him, he pushes. Despite everything, you don’t quite like feeding his ego, and so you try and hold back the whimper that threatens to escape.
The build up of sex with Minho is slow. He pauses, moaning into your neck as he gives you a couple of seconds to get used to the feeling of him. “Y/N, fuck,” He whispers, moving to give you a bruising kiss and that’s when you know your time is done. The way he pulls back and pushes in again, and again, and again starts to build up inside of you, making you throw your head back into the pillow, fingers sinking into his back. You enjoy keeping him close, knees pushed up to his hips trying to feel him deeper, harder. You like the way he picks up the pace little by little, hipbones harsh in how they snap against yours, letting you know you’d be sore for next day with the echoes of his skin on yours. “Minho!” You moan, feeling his harsh breathing on your cheeks. A shiver runs up your spine when he fucks you harder, mouth everywhere until he finds bliss sucking marks on your chest. “Fuck, baby, please, please, please–” At this point, you’re not even sure what you’re asking for, just wanting to feel that tension in your stomach explode and tingle everywhere, blanking you out from existence.
It’s not an easy job, making you cum, but he never fails to impress you with how determined he is. Not that he has ever been successful, but as you explained before, it’s not about the destination, but the journey. Sometimes, you think the reason why he keeps calling you back is the fact that you are a challenge. Sure, he had made you cum with his mouth before, those sinful lips wrapping around your most sensitive part as sucking like he was trying to drink you fully. Or those hands– long fingers drawing an orgasm out of you as if he was simply beckoning you to come closer and closer to him. But cumming from his dick, as much as your mind loved the fantasy, is hard. It’s more of a you thing than a him thing, but he is relentless in his mission. He pushes away from you, as much as your grabby hands try to keep him in place, and raises to his full glory, standing on his knees while holding your hips up to match his erratic rhythm. “So tight… feels so fucking good,” He groans, bringing one leg over his shoulder and you can’t handle it anymore. It’s odd, feeling this good yet feeling pain at the same time. Your leg is cramping up, and your hands are holding onto the bedsheets so tightly you might just crack your fingers out of place, and your core… god, your core is on fire.
“Minho, please, just– oh my– cum, please baby,” Your twisting your whole body in a sensation that is foreign to you, and for a moment, everything stops. This is the first time you know it’s coming… you feel it, so close yet so far, and just as you’re about to tip over the edge, that euphoric sensation starting to spread in advance as your stomach coiled tighter and tighter as he pounded into you harder and harder… until he groans, impossibly loud, and his hips slow down to a stop. “You have got to be kidding me.”
What comes after is not that important– mainly because it’s not you, even as he slides his body down the bed, throwing your legs on his shoulders to get to work. If there is one thing Minho excels at, besides driving you absolutely nuts, is coaching you to the brink. It’s a shame, really, that you panic early, never letting him push you off the edge and make you cum so hard you scream his name in that high-pitched tone he loves teasing you about.
It’s a hard relationship you have with yourself, really. On one hand, that’s the only reason you’re there, the sex, the panting, the hours that pass by and you don’t even notice. But then, on the other hand, as much as you chase that orgasmic feeling like a madwoman, you don’t want it to end. No the sex, no– sometimes, all you want is for it to end, because you’re close, so so close to cumming that you might just ruin it all.
You don’t want to lose.
If you cum, you lose. It’s a sick game, and you’re playing it with no one else besides you, but you refuse to lose. This time, you’re on fucking top.
This time, if anyone is getting heartbroken, is him. If anyone is ending up on the floor crying, it’s him. If anyone is desperate for answers, it’s him.
This time, if anyone is losing, it’s fucking Lee Minho.
“Leaving early again.”
Chuckling, you don’t really acknowledge him yet, finishing tying your boots and wrapping your scarf around your neck, your chin, your face. You cover everything his eyes trace, smirking under the soft fabric and enjoying how it brushes over your lips so gently… he’s never that gentle with you, so it’s a welcoming contrast, your inanimate scarf to Minho.
It’s cold out, cold enough for the little skin you have on show to numb. With every step you take away from him, you numb. With every goodbye wave, every nonchalant glance, every uncaring smile– you’re numb to the point of feeling like you’re hypothermic. The cold, you find, opening his front door, only brings you back to a state of being you’re awfully too familiar with.
“What can I say,” You shrug, refusing to admit the defeat that is when he simply leans against the wall, smirking as if he knows what you’re going to say next. “I have nothing else to do here.” And with that, you step out, ignoring the pang in your stomach when the door actually slams shut behind you.
You can’t lost, you remind yourself one more time, marching to the subway station just a block away.
You can’t lose because if you lose, you lose him. And if you lose him, you’re numb forever.

Hi! Here to request #43 from your smut prompts 😍 Would be nice to have it in a “growing back together, post-mj” context! Kinda see it as Katniss asking Peeta this as he seems to be just naturally good at everything Katniss related ~ if you catch my drift~, also with the whole “having two older brothers” thing, I’m pretty sure he’s gotten some “advice”.
Thanks! ❤️
“Are you sure this is your first time?”
Thanks Anon!
Inexperienced Smut Prompts
Katniss had always assumed their first time would be not great. Not that she had any expectations, it was just something she’d accepted as fact and didn’t think about too much because your first sexual encounter was just that—a first of many. That a guy’s first time was over before it began, which the girl was alright with because her first experience with penetration would hurt and leave her sore and bleeding.
Yeah, that wasn’t how it was going.
Cut to her lying in bed, gasping for breath and Peeta sliding up her body with a cocky grin. His mouth and chin wet from making her come around his fingers and tongue she didn’t know how many times.
He captured her lips and they kissed hotly. He laid on top of her, pinning her down, the feel of his bare skin making her crazy. He smiled against her mouth as she sunk languidly into the mattress, moaning around his tongue, turned on beyond words by the taste of her in his mouth. It surprised her how much she liked that intimate possession.
The room was humid, their bodies sticky and damp with sweat and the sheer amount of her slippery arousal. Everything felt hot and dirty in the best way.
Their hips moved restlessly together until he sat back with a gasp, taking his cock in hand. She watched him with wide eyes. She couldn’t wait to have him inside of her.
He hovered over her, his sturdy hips and muscled thighs heavy between her legs. “You ready?”
“Yeah,” she said, hips rolling unconsciously up when he rubbed the head of his cock through her folds. He didn’t fumble looking for her entrance, finding his way inside of her, coming in with a slick slide. He was all the way in, she was sure, but there wasn’t any pain. His shaft was thick and rigid. It was too much but absolutely perfect. She writhed beneath him, waiting for him to move.
“Uhm, you feel so good,” he whispered in her ear, voice thick like honey.
Even his voice like this was doing things to her. She clawed at his back in desperation.
Her nerves were sensitive from the myriad of other ways he’d made her come, leaving her overstimulated and overwhelmed. She thought a few more thrusts was all it would take to get her to come on his cock. She thought he could make her come all night if he wanted to.
“Yeah?” He murmured, slowing down his thrusts, moving in and out shallowly, never thrusting fully into her the way she wanted him to. His eyes dropped to her chest, watching her breasts bounce lightly.
“Peeta,” she whined, shifting restlessly beneath his hips.
“Touch your breasts for me,” he said, smirking. It was like he could do this to her all night.
She scowled at him
“I’ll give you what you want if you do,” he said in a sing-song tone, rolling his hips deeply into her. The motion made her breath catch.
Knowing she would do almost anything he wanted to get him moving, she cupped herself beneath his watchful eye. “Like that?” she asked, face hot with shame but desperate for release.
“Yeah, squeeze them for me. I want to watch you.”
She complied, finding it wasn’t difficult touching herself in front of him.
And he gave her what she wanted, but he took his time getting her there. By the time she finally came her mind and body seemed to separate leaving her soaring above herself.
He followed her over the edge, collapsing on top of her when they were done.
“You love me, real or not real?” He whispered, lips pressed against her ear.
She smiled. That answer was as easy as the rest had been. “Real. But Peeta,I have to ask you something.”
“What?”
She sucked in a breath. “Are you sure this is your first time doing this?”
He pushed up, his face hovering inches above hers. He looked confused. “Well, yeah.” He said, flopping l onto the other side of the bed. “Why?”
He turned his head to look her in the eye. She threaded her fingers through his, letting their hands drop between them to rest on the mattress. “I thought our first time wasn’t going to be like that. You know, not good. That’s what I’ve always heard.”
A snort came from him. “So it wasn’t terrible?”
She grinned shyly. “No, no it wasn’t. It was really amazing. But why was it like that?”
He laughed. “Katniss, I had older brothers. And I may have done some research once I thought sex might be a possibility.” He stared at the ceiling, avoiding her eyes, cheeks reddening more than they already were beneath her focused gaze. “And I may have jerked off a couple of times before coming over here tonight,” he admitted sheepishly.
Once she had her uncharacteristic giggle fit at his admission under control she sighed, leaning over and kissing him, arms resting on his chest. “I love you, you know that?”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
He buried his hands in her hair and she leaned in to kiss him deeper, lips opening eagerly to receive him. “Well then. Why don’t you show me what a recent virgin can do,” he murmured, hand on her thigh, urging her to straddle him.

Dealing With Demons Chapter 5: Hope This One's Interesting Par 1: Riley
Masterlist with CW
Taglist: @demyxdancer @softvampirewhump
Riley had never seen Director Coleman look this angry before. She was gripping the armrests of her wheelchair so tight it looked like she was about to launch herself forward to strangle them. Her face was red, the veins in her forehead bulged, and Riley was sure that everyone on the building's main floor could hear her yelling at them.
"So why, Agent Bishop, did you not think to tell me any of this?"
"I, um—"
"Or at least warn me that you were bringing a demon in on the investigation?"
"I didn't want to give Bell time to—"
"Do you have any idea the sheer amount of paperwork I will have to do to explain how a routine interview turned into a demonic incident? Involving multiple demons?"
"I didn't think it would turn out like this!" Riley pleaded desperately.
Coleman paused and took a few deep breaths. "You... improvised. You used an unorthodox method to aid in the investigation and that's fine, usually, but for god's sake keep me informed about stuff like this!"
"Yes, Sir," Riley said, looking down.
"At least everything turned out okay."
Their head snapped up to face the director. "What? But someone lost her soul!"
"Clara Bolton made a choice. One that saved her life when I don't know what else could have. She chose her life over her soul, and we can't judge her for that or ignore that she made that choice of her own free will. So take the win, Riley."
"Yes, Sir."
"Besides, whenever demons are involved I consider it a win when all of my agents come back alive. Also, you're suspended for a month."
"That seems about right."
"Now, I can't stop you from keeping in contact with this demon, no matter how much I wish I could. But if you want to bring them in on any more missions or investigations once you get back you will inform me first. Understood?"
"Understood, Sir. But trust me, I don't think I'll be contacting them again."
"Good. Now go home, Bishop. I'll see you in four weeks."
Riley left Coleman's office. Just as they reached the elevator Sil grabbed their shoulder to stop them. It was a bit of an awkward angle because of how tall Riley was, but she managed to turn them around to face her.
"Look," Riley started. "I know I should have told you, and a part of me wanted to, but it all just seemed too crazy. I'm sorry."
"I would have done the same."
Riley's train of thought went off a cliff. "You what?"
"I would have done the same. I mean, I also would've told Coleman what I was doing, but you were trying to turn a threat into an asset. It was dangerous, and stupid to try alone, and not the job of a researcher at all, but I get it. I just thought you should know that."
"Thanks. That really means a lot."
"But seriously don't talk to that demon again, it's not worth it. When you yelled at them earlier I almost had a heart attack."
"I won't. And if they try to contact me I'll call you right away."
"Good. Sounds like a plan. Take care of yourself, Riley." Sil squeezed their shoulder and smiled.
"I will."
Riley left and started walking toward the subway station. As they walked they opened up Spotify and saw that several of their playlists had a new like. And they had a new follower. Someone with the username Aureum and a profile picture of a gold coin.
Well, whatever else the demon was, they had good taste in music. Riley checked out Avi's profile out of a stubborn curiosity in the back of their mind--a part of them couldn't help but still see Avi as a possible font of information. Avi had no playlists of their own, and only followed one other person besides Riley. Their username was CosmicCat and their profile picture was the night sky. They had over fifty playlists--more than twice what Riley had--all of them dedicated to podcasts and tv shows and books, many of which Riley didn't recognize. They had other followers, and followed other people, they seemed like an actual human being who really loved music.
Avi's words from the day they met came back to Riley. "I only really have one friend at the moment." This must be that friend. Riley was insanely curious now, this appeared to be a normal person who was friends with a demon of avarice. They wanted to know how and why.
Riley glanced up at the time and cursed. They had to hurry or they would end up walking home in the dark. They followed CosmicCat and made a mental note to check them out later.
......
When Riley was twelve they came across a word they didn't recognize in one of their grandmother's old spellbooks. She let them read the magical tomes as long as they kept their promise to not attempt to perform any kind of magic unless she was with them.
They went up to where their grandmother was making dinner and tugged on her shirt.
"What is it?"
"What's a warlock?"
Riley's grandmother froze for a moment then turned off the stove and put down her wooden spoon. "Let's sit down at the table to talk about this."
Riley was nervous. They were worried they'd somehow messed up by asking that question, and as they sat down at the kitchen table they fidgeted and fiddled with the hem of their shirt.
"You're not in trouble, sweetie, this is just a serious topic, okay?"
Riley looked up at her. "Okay."
"A warlock is a mage that doesn't get their power from runes, or from genetics."
"Where do they get it from?"
Riley's grandmother paused. "Have you read about the different planes of existence?"
"Yes." Riley nodded enthusiastically.
"And you know what the psychic plane is?"
"It's where all our feelings go when we feel them."
Riley's grandmother smiled. "That's right, sweetie. And sometimes we can feel certain emotions so strongly that it creates a living creature in the psychic plane."
"Like a person?"
"Not exactly. Depending on what feeling created it, it can be either an angel or a demon. These creatures live in the psychic plane feeding off of the impressions left by people's emotions until someone summons them to this plane. A person who wants something enough can perform a summoning ritual that will find the angel or demon that can best grant their wish and bring that spirit here. Then, the person can sell the creature their soul in exchange for what they want. That's how warlocks get their power, through deals. Usually with demons."
"What do the angels and demons do with the souls they buy?"
"When the person who makes the deal dies the angel or demon takes the soul and eats it."
Riley's face was a perfect mask of surprise. "But I thought angels were good, not evil!"
"It's not that simple, it's... hmm..." Riley's grandmother thought for a moment. Then she left the room and returned carrying a fluffy gray cat with one eye. She deposited the cat in Riley's lap and they wrapped their arms around it despite it's distressed meows.
"Is Florence evil for eating mice and bugs?"
"No!" Riley insisted and snuggled the annoyed cat tighter until it slipped out of their grasp and ran off. "That's what cats are supposed to do!"
"Well, angels and demons are supposed to eat souls, you can't call them evil for that, only very very dangerous. Probably the most dangerous creatures in existence. Because they aren't good or evil, they can't be, because they aren't human. They're predators. And they don't act like humans. Do you understand?"
Riley nodded. "Yes. Don't worry, I'll never ever ever make a deal with a demon or an angel."
Riley's grandmother smiled. "Good. Now, I had better get back to dinner. And you had better make sure Florence doesn't scratch up my books." Riley nodded and ran off back to the living room.
Sixteen years later, on the subway ride home, Riley wondered what their grandmother would think of Avi.
......
There weren't a lot of ways to find out information on someone from just a Spotify account. Riley looked up the username CosmicCat on every social media platform they could think of, and found nothing that seemed related to the demon. The only possible lead was an abandoned Twitter account full of mostly quotes and song lyrics. At least that Twitter account let Riley know that CosmicCat used she/her pronouns.
If Riley were still at work they could maybe justify using the Bureau's resources to track her down, but they weren't at work. And anyways, doing so would be messy in terms of paperwork as well as ethics.
For now, all Riley could do was think. And they certainly had more than enough time for that

Stuck Chapter 8
Tumblr media
“-A nor’easter is set to hit the city in the early hours of tomorrow morning, Friday the 8th of December. It is recommended to prepare for a potential shelter-in-place order. This storm has already caused shutdowns of major metropolitans to the north. It is predicted that the city will receive a record amount of snowfall.” Himiko paused the newscast as a new message notification came in from Shanks. She swiped over to her message app.
Shanks: Are you still okay to meet this afternoon?
Shanks: I understand if you have to reschedule because of the storm.
Himiko: I think we’ll be fine.
Himiko: The storm isn’t supposed to start until tomorrow morning.
Shanks: Okay, as long as you’re comfortable.
Shanks: I’ll pick you up from the subway stop at 5
Himiko: K sounds good
Himiko smiled down at the text before heading back to her room to get ready for her lecture. Both of her professors had opted to do remote classes because of the inclement weather. One was still conducting a lecture on Zoom, while the other had just assigned a reading and discussion board. She wasn’t sure if the storm was really going to be that bad or if it was just because it was the first major storm of the season. Either way, she was happy to not have to go into class today. Himiko was grateful that her and Nami had gone grocery shopping the night before. No amount of money could compel her to go into any supermarket today. She knew all too well how crazy people got with the threat of any amount of snow even if it was warranted. It was like the beginning of the pandemic all over again. Himiko had no doubt that the shelves would be bare before noon today.
Despite her doubts about the storm, she was glad when Nami told her that she’d be riding it out in center city at Vivi’s apartment. If it was really going to get as bad as they said she was happy that she wouldn’t have to worry about Nami’s safety. Vivi lived in a nice neighborhood, and she got her groceries delivered so there was no need for either of them to leave the apartment.
Himiko slipped on a hoodie before settling into her chair and logging onto her lecture.
***
Himiko internally groaned when she spotted the crowd forming at her subway stop. It was twice as packed as normal. She could already feel herself begin to overheat as her body attempted to adjust to the sudden influx in temperature. It was at least twenty degrees warmer in the subway station than it was outside. That paired with the fact that she and everyone else were wearing bulky winter coats to combat the frigid temperature didn’t help. Himiko quickly unzipped her jacket before boarding the train where she was packed in like a sardine. She grabbed a strap and took a deep breath to center herself. This was going to be the longest twenty-five minutes of her life. She tried to make herself as small as possible to avoid touching those around her or their belongings. On top of the crowd, half the people were carrying groceries or travel bags.
Himiko let her mind wander to Shanks as the train departed. She wondered where he was taking her. All she knew was that it was in uptown and involved food. He specifically told her to come hungry. She wasn’t sure if they were always going to surprise her with the date locations, but she didn’t hate their consideration. It was actually pretty cute to see two grown men get so excited over simple dates.
This time the only clue he gave her was that he went there at least once a month to destress. Unsure where they were going Himiko opted for a nicer outfit just in case. They were going to uptown after all. She was wearing a white A-line dress with a floral corset top that was laced in the front, sheer nude tights, and light pink flats. While she wasn’t positive about where they were going, she’d rather be overdressed than underdressed. She was kinda bummed that she had to wear her glasses today, but she knew it was easier in the long run than having to deal with dry eyes from the wind.
Himiko let out a sigh of relief when they pulled into her stop, and she was grateful to be able to dislodge herself from the crowd. While some people had gotten off at previous stops they were instantly replaced by new people. It felt more like a weekend than midafternoon on a Thursday. She kept a hand locked on her cross-body purse to prevent anyone from opening it. Even though she had a good awareness of her surroundings she didn’t want to risk attracting a pick pocketer. She knew from experience that crowds this big in such a small space were prime places for theft. She made her way up the staircase as fast as the crowd would allow.
She didn’t have any issue finding Shanks once she was finally able to make it outside. Between his height and hair, he easily stood out in a crowd. She could feel the salt crunch below her feet as she crossed the street to meet him. Himiko zipped up her coat as her body temperature started to even out.
“Hey,” he greeted her lifting his arm, prompting her for a hug. Himiko happily accepted the brief embrace.
“Hey, it’s nice to finally see you,” she said as she pulled back from the hug.
“Likewise,” he started visibly giving her a once over, “you look great by the way.”
“Thanks,” Himiko responded shyly. She resisted complimenting him back; she didn’t want him to know how good she thought he looked in a suit. Knowing him it would most likely go straight to his head.
“Ready to head out?” He asked. Himiko nodded as they started to make their way north.
“So, where are we going.” She asked.
“You’ll see,” Shanks replied with a smirk.
“You’re seriously not going to tell me?” she asked.
“And let Mihawk have all the fun? Not on your life.” He responded. Himiko rolled her eyes playfully.
“Can I at least guess?” she asked.
“Sure, but you’ll have to be quick. We’re almost there.” Shanks said.
“How far is it?” Himiko asked.
Shanks hummed in thought before responding, “About two blocks away.”
“Is it some sort of cooking class?” She guessed.
“Nah, I don’t know how much you’d enjoy doing that with me. Outside of breakfast and the occasional sandwich, I’m pretty much useless in the kitchen.” Shanks said with a laugh.
“Does Mihawk cook, or do you mostly do takeout?” Himiko asked.
“Oh, Mihawk’s a great cook. He always does the cooking on his days off; we normally save takeout for when I’m on my own or days he works.” Shanks explained.
Himiko nodded pausing a moment before resuming the game. “Is it a restaurant?”
“I don’t know if I’d call it a restaurant, but they do serve food.” He answered.
“Oh! Is it a sports bar?” Himiko asked excitedly thinking she’s got it.
“Nope,” Shanks said amused, “Me and Mihawk aren’t really sports people. Outside of casually watching rugby, I don’t really find any sports compelling to follow.”
“Damn,” Himiko cursed out of ideas.
“Do you even like sports?” he asked with a laugh.
“Sorta? My dad was from Philly and was a die-hard Eagles fan. I can follow and know the rules of all the mainstream sports like basketball or baseball. I will watch the Eagles if I’m home and they’re playing, but I don’t really go out of my way to see them. Which might be for the best; sometimes it’s a labor of love to be a Philly sports fan.” She explained.
“Do you have your own home team?” Shanks asked.
“Nah, I never really stayed anywhere long enough to call home when I was a kid. Living here for the past three years is the second longest time I’ve ever stayed somewhere consecutively.” Himiko answered, “The first being my time in Florida with Nami’s family.”
“Did you enjoy traveling around the country?” he asked.
“Sometimes, it was definitely a double-edged sword. I’m grateful for all the experiences I had, but it would have been nice to set down roots somewhere.” Himiko started, “Where are you originally from?”
“Oh, I was born and raised in the downtown area. Outside of a semester abroad when I was in undergrad, I’ve never lived anywhere else,” he said, suddenly stopping in front of a café. Himiko looked at him confused before it clicked that they were at their destination. Himiko glanced up at the sign and unconsciously squealed when she realized what kind of café it was.
“Is this a cat café?!” Himiko asked looking up at him in excitement.
“Sure is,” he said with a smile holding the door open for her. She quickly stepped inside to get out of the cold. Himiko couldn’t contain her happiness as she took in her surroundings. There were about eight cats scattered around the room. Some young, some old. There were only half a handful of patrons. She unintentionally fit in with the floral theme of the café quite well. There were multiple cat trees shaped like flowers in bloom. Along with a plush green circular carpet that mimicked grass.
“Are you hungry?” He asked from behind her.
“Yeah,” she nodded following him towards the bakery part of the establishment. Her eyes lit up when she saw that they had a tiramisu cake in the case.
“Hey, welcome in. Are you guys ready to order?” a male worker around her age asked from behind the counter. Himiko nodded again when Shanks glanced at her to see if she was ready.
“I’ll take the strawberry shortcake and a black coffee please,” Shanks ordered.
“Can I please have a slice of the tiramisu and a cappuccino,” Himiko added on. The worker nodded.
“That’ll be 2,100 berries; cash or card?” he asked.
“Card,” Shanks responded adding a tip and tapping his card to the card reader.
“Alright, that will be out shortly. We are closing an hour earlier than normal because of the weather. So, our closing time tonight will be seven.” Shanks nodded in understanding before leading Himiko towards a table near the back wall next to a cat tree that mimicked a cherry blossom tree in bloom.
“So do you come here often?” she asked, shedding her coat, and hanging it on the back of her chair.
“It varies, sometimes I only come here once a month other times twice a week. It really just depends on how stressed I am.” He answered, reaching down to scratch behind a tabby’s ear as it passed by. Himiko smiled as she watched him interact with the cat.
“It’s nice that you have a healthy way to destress. I’m sure your job can be really draining.” She said as the cat stalked away. Shanks nodded.
“I’m used to the stress to an extent, but it can definitely come to a head when I’m working on high-profile cases.” He spoke. Before Himiko could ask any follow-up questions a high school-aged worker dropped off their food.
“Here you are,” She started placing their food and drinks in front of them. “And by the way I love your outfit.” She said giving Himiko a warm smile.
“Thank you so much, for the food and the compliment,” Himiko said with a matching smile. The girl nodded before heading to the back of house.
“You really do look stunning,” Shanks said taking a sip from his mug as he eyed her over the rim.
“I’m sure you say that to everyone,” Himiko said with a laugh as she followed suit and took a sip of her drink.
“Nah, I may be a flirt, but I only ever say things when I mean it,” He started setting his drink down. “Though I do think there’s a better place I’d like to see that outfit.”
“Oh, and where’s that?” she asked, amused.
“My bedroom floor,” He responded with a smirk. Himiko held his gaze for a moment before she broke down laughing.
“What too cheesy?” He asked joining in on the laughter.
“Just a little” She answered with a smile, taking a bite of her cake.
“Damn, that line almost always works,” Shanks said, digging into his own dessert.
“On who? Mihawk?” Himiko asked exasperated.
“Sometimes, depending on his mood.” He responded.
“I don’t believe that,” Himiko said shaking her head.
“What, it’s true!” Shanks said, defending himself.
“How many times has it worked?” She asked.
“I’ve bedded Mihawk with that line plenty of times.” He said back.
“Oh, really. Is it the line that gets him, or is it just because you’re handsome?”  Himiko asked.
“You think I’m handsome?” Shanks said with a smirk, leaning his head on his hand.
“I mean it’s clearly not your game that got me here.” Himiko joked, causing Shanks to drop his smile.
“I have game,” Shanks said, feigning offense.
“Oh, I’m sure you do,” Himiko laughed.
“I do! How else would I have bagged Mihawk?” He asked.
“By being attractive! You have pretty privilege.” She said finishing up her cappuccino.
“What’s pretty privilege?” he asked, confused.
“It’s a theory that attractive people are treated better than those who are not,” Himiko explained.
“If anyone here has pretty privilege it’s you,” Shanks said, shaking his head.
“No, I’m pretty and have a personality.” She sassed him. Shanks responded with an exaggerated eye roll as he took the last bite of his dessert. He then stacked their dishes and took them to a wash bin built into the trash can.
“Ready for the best part?” he asked, taking her hand, and leading her over to a box full of cat toys. He grabbed a feather on a stick and took a seat on an ottoman. Himiko grabbed a small mouse plush before sitting down next to him. He started to wave the feather around. A pair of younger cats perked up and crossed the room towards him. Himiko unconsciously smiled as the cats took turns batting the feather around; she almost missed the light touch of an older cat brushing against her leg. She glanced down and was met with a pair of heterochromatic eyes of an older calico. The cat was sat at her feet flicking her tail back and forth while eyeing the mouse plush in her hand. She lightly tossed it a few feet away; to her delight, the cat stalked over to the mouse, picked it up, and returned the plush to Himiko's feet.
The cat and Himiko played fetch for the next ten minutes before it slinked off to lay down on a heated cat bed by the window. Himiko's eye followed it before widening as she looked out the window.
“Shit,” she cursed, at the sight of solid white on the other side of the glass. Shanks glanced at her confused before he followed her gaze to the front window.
“Jesus, that happened fast.” Shanks agreed as he let the two cats grab the feather and pull the toy away from him.
“I think we need to leave right now before it gets any worse,” Himiko said as she headed back to the table and grabbed her coat. She now noticed that they were the only customers left in the café. The staff had just begun to corral the cats into the back room. Shanks nodded in agreement as he slipped his coat back on.
“I hope the trains are still running,” she said pulling up her transit app.
“How far do you have to walk from the station to your apartment?” he asked looking down at her.
“Um, about three blocks.” She answered while trying to refresh the app.
“So, you’d have to walk five blocks in total if you went home?” he asked.
“Yeah,” She nodded as the app finally loaded. All outdoor transportation had a ‘x’ next to their routes, but the subway would still be running, at least for now.
“If you’re going to go all the way downtown, I’m coming with you,” he said looking down at her with a serious look on his face.
“You don’t half to do that-” Himiko started before Shanks cut her off.
“Yes, I do; there’s close to zero visibility outside. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if anything happened on your way home.” He started taking her hand in his. “Alternatively, we can go to ride out the storm at my apartment it’s only a block and a half from here.” Himiko bit her bottom lip as she mulled over her options. She had zero chance of trying to convince Shanks to let her go home alone in a blizzard. That paired with her poor choice of clothing basically made the decision for her.
“Okay,” She nodded, “Let’s go to your place.” Shanks nodded, letting go of her hand for a moment to pull out his phone. A look of relief crossed his features.
“Mihawk just got home; he didn’t get the short end of the stick for once,” Shanks explained, pocketing his phone.
“Does he normally have to stay at the hospital during storms?” Himiko asked tilting her head.
“Yeah, he was stuck at the hospital for three days last summer when that hurricane came to the city.” Shanks started before continuing, “We should get a move on; I told him we’d be home in the next 15-20 minutes. He’ll worry if we’re late.” Himiko nodded as they made their way to the door. Shanks grabbed her left hand again as they opened the door and went outside. It was immediately awful. Himiko had zero visibility as she blindly followed Shanks through the storm. That paired with the intense wind made it almost impossible for her to keep her eyes open. She was immediately grateful that she didn’t opt to go back to her apartment. After what felt like an eternity, she lost Shanks’ grip. Before she was able to panic, she heard a beep and was being guided inside a building.
Himiko took off her glasses and quickly cleaned them on the edge of her dress before putting them back on. She squinted as her eyes adjusted to the bright lighting of the room. She was standing in an art deco-style lobby. The base was a deep forest green with gold and silver accents. She felt anxiety rise in her stomach as the reality of her situation sunk in. She was going to be stuck with Mihawk and Shanks’s home for the next 48 hours at the minimum.

The year that I was 32 I was happy. The year that I was 32 I was so happy that it made me nervous, I was so happy with my friends and my job and my art and my home and my hair that it circled back around to anxiety that I might lose any piece of it or things might (will, eventually) change. I continued my streak of making new friends, of learning new things, of getting new jobs, of being proud of myself.
The year that I was 32, my aunt and I became the only two women in our family to know what it's like to be 32 and childless, I texted her wonderingly and triumphantly. The year I was 32 I think I finally parented myself up to standard level, loved myself and forgave myself and protected myself enough for the 1.25 parents I didn't have.
The year that I was 32 flew by and I was so happy to be getting older. I felt the weight of the years not as a burden but as a foundation. I felt my understanding of myself deepen, as I felt my relationships deepen with their layers of time, with the sheer amount of happenings and words exchanged and things seen. I was sometimes still, but rarely, self-conscious about being older than my coworkers. The year that I was 32 I loved my coworkers so much, I wanted to tell them about things and hear their thoughts and get their opinions and soak up their expertise and their beautiful, beautiful self assurance.
The year that I was 32 Daniel and I went back to doing trivia, and I was relieved that he wasn't angry with me. I recognized a softening in him that I recognize in so many of us, the softening of experiences not turning out the way you thought they would, the new understanding.
The year that I was 32 I finally got to babysit Remy, got to shepherd him safely from daycare to sleep sack, check on him three times to make sure he was breathing in his crib, pull him into my lap when he hit his head and coo I know I know I know it doesn't feel good when we hit our head.
The year that I was 32 I kept getting both more and less forgiving. The understanding of how hard we're all trying, of how many things happen in a life; but likewise the how hard we're all trying and sometimes it's not enough, how many things happen in a life and sometimes they're someone's fault.
The year that I was 32 I didn't buy any makeup except some mascara refills. The year that I was 32 I got so beautiful again. I'm sorry to say it, but it bears acknowledging. I saw it in the mirror and I could see it in other people's faces sometimes, but unlike when I was younger, it felt like mine and not the world's. I got more sure of my artistic opinions, felt they were valid, felt like 'I didn't think it achieved its objectives' coming from me was a valuable critique.
The year that I was 32 I spent my going to Paris money on a studio space. I went to the ER again. I slept and slept and slept. I went to Scotland, the most beautiful place in the world that rearranged my insides in a way I may never be fully able to describe. I went to LA for two weeks and fell even more in love with Marie and Solomon and their life. I went to Tampa for 24 hours, i went to Portland for a week, I went to Delaware for a weekend, I went, still, back and forth between DC and New York so many times that I thought I'd go crazy.
The year that I was 32 I almost never cried, except occasionally when a TV show got me, when George Bailey was the richest man in Bedford Falls, when we listened to Let's Get Married by The Proclaimers in the car in the Columbia River Gorge and my mom was driving and my brother was in the backseat and we would see my sister soon and hike up to the waterfall where my grandpa's ashes are scattered. I couldn't stop smiling though, walking around Greenpoint in the sunset, smiling smiling smiling until sometimes I also cried.
The year that I was 32 I was so proud and so happy that I hoped I'd run into people I hadn't seen in years on the street so they could ask me what I'd been up to and I could tell them, beaming, the happiness coming through my every pore. I didn't run into anyone I hadn't seen in years. The year that I was 32 I was still myself, so so much, over and over, every day, and I began to really accept that.
