LWJ was kind of dead for a while but his spirit stuck around (I don't remember why really just that maybe it was part of some spell?) and WWX managed to resurrect him but he needed to regain his memories slowly.

During the sunspot campaign (?) jzx admits he wants to marry jyl, and wwx and jwy sit down to negotiate the terms (it is implied that they're going to take him for everything he's got and he's going to let them). Just then mianmian bursts in towing a very confused jgy who then realised what's going on.

They deleted some of their fics a while back including this one. The fic is not available on the wayback machine but you can access it, chapter by chapter, through cached search results. 13. For fic finder: My apologies if I recently sent in this ask: this fic has been on my brain for the last few days and I can’t remember if I already wrote in about it or not! It was a modern au about pro e-sports. The different sects are different gaming teams in this fic. WWX was accused of cheating a few years back and had to leave the Jiang team. LWJ, captain of Lan team, eventually finds WWX again and asks to enter a competition with WWX, and I think together they can pull off some kind of special move in-game that shows they have incredible teamwork or something. The fic reminded me of the danmei novel God Level Summoner, but I think the general theme of “fallen champion player gets back on his feet and wins the league” is pretty common in esports stories.

15. Hello, thank you for all your help! I am now looking for a fic where Wei Wuxian was raised as Jiang Cheng's whipping boy. This was a common practice among the gentry except for in the Lan clan. JC grew up and he tried not to do anything that would lead to WWX being whipped in his place but during the Cloud Recesses lectures Jin Zixuan demands WWX be whipped and JC can’t really stop it. Lan Wangji tried to intervene but Lan Qiren held him back saying not to get involved in other sect’s conflict. I think Meng Yao was also a designated whipping boy for Huaisang, possibly all the whipping boys for all the young masters also attended the lectures as manservants? they did not often do anything because they were sleepy, but around the 5th month they had a very vague idea of what was in Simon's immediate surroundings- but only if he made noise with them. the sound of him resting in a chair or setting a mug down made them aware that he was interacting with things in the environment, and so they would test their influence on the outside world. simon would always feel like his stomach was twisting up and he'd get like, this tingle of energy up his spine whenever morrigan tried to use their powers.

they.. didn't have very much influence, but they had enough to create little portals and use their transmutation powers.. the only problem is they didn't know what they had, or what anything was shaped like, because, yknow, they were in the womb. so their transmutation was a lot more like.. distortion.

morrigan was very aware most of the time while simon was pregnant with them; they simply were too sleepy and small to do much of anything. so they knew who was doing all that annoying shit to them. fuck you pb. they knew she was causing simon distress too.

they understood what simon was saying but they were by no means omnipotent; they didn't know what the outside world was like and a lot of words were known but meant nothing to them (what the fuck is a betty?). they also misunderstood some words. (book and reading mean simon is about to mutter for a long ass time)

morrigan was severely weakened by the effort of breaking the seal on them and being born in a human body, and their powers went dormant after birth until they got to puberty. (they are steadily going to look less human as they grow older. morrigan +1000 is about to sprout some wings!)

morrigan made the conscious decision to form and develop as a humanoid, not a less human, chaotic entity. this additionally limited their power, but they did not want to scare or hurt simon- they didn't care if anyone else was, but they were rather fond of simon and wanted to take a form after his.

morrigans memory of when they were developing steadily vanished when they were a baby; they now mostly remember that for the most part they were very comfortable, they were appreciative of simon for incubating them and they remember staring at simon when they were born. (it's why they stopped crying the instant he spoke, bc wow, there he is! that's what he looks like! a tan and brown blob!)

SOTE SPOILERS

I just beat the dlc so I’ll sum up my thoughts. Best part was by far the world and sidequests, lots of gorgeous scenery and NPCs that work well with what the base game set up and had interesting quests. I especially liked Trina/Thiollier’s (all the stuff about being a god would be a cage for him even goes with Mohg’s intentions) and Ymir’s (finger lore and hand mpreg just goes extremely hard okay)

So I’m disappointed that the main story I think was just… bad and disconnected from base game as a whole. I was looking forward to more Miquella but the final boss felt more like an excuse to fight Radahn at his peak than what would make sense story-wise. If he’s so important to Miq’s plans, then you’d expect base game to bring that up like… at all? And why Radahn as his consort when Malenia exists, who he ACTUALLY has twin prince vibes with…? She’s dear to him, and just as strong? And it makes Aeonia a waste, cause if Radahn agreed, why fight and hurt even herself in the process? And if not, why couldn’t Miq just charm him especially after they make such a big deal about it with Mohg? I DO think the Mohg thing backfired on him but I doubt Radahn would have as twisted visions of love as him so why not?

Which coming to that, I also hate how they emphasize Mohg being some victim of bewitching, it felt boring and cowardly to do so, instead of lean into the implications they set up. I still think Mohg DID abuse him though for a number of reasons 1- Ansbach is a high ranking knight of Mohg’s of course he’s biased towards his lord 2- other NPCS who were human not even demigods still had awareness of the charm and were still able to distrust others 3- Mohg’s obsession and possessiveness of Miq is unique to him not even Leda acts so fixated 4- There’s literally nothing saying the kidnapping was planned (hell the haligtree isn’t even mentioned despite it being his life’s work lmaooo) so ripping him out of that seems like it would be against his will. All they say is a vague “needed him to get to the land of shadows”. Somehow. 5- Mohg being killed also couldn’t have been part of his plan you don’t even need to set foot in the dynasty to become Elden lord and he’s in a secluded spot and relatively unknown. So that’s very unreliable… 6- Miq’s plans had nothing to do with the Mother or the Dynasty so making Miq into a god under Her and forming the basis of the dynasty is 100% Mohg. Probably it backfired in the sense Mohg has a twisted sense of love that hurts the one he claims to love. Ansbach probably saw his plan for a dead end though (Miq certainly wasn’t waking up) so he tried to stop his obsession with him. <-very sick of people claiming he “beat the allegations”

As for what this means for my art I’m certainly less inspired by this game than before but I do intend to to draw an extra bloodied, violated mess of a Miq, and occasional (non-consensual) MohgMiq kinda out of spite for people claiming him innocent now also I need to see Miq broken

WIP Wednesday - A Most Self-Indulgent WIP

Getting an early jump on WIP Wednesday (GASP). I think I am coming to terms with the fact that I have a very specific wheelhouse that I like to play in. And it's not going to be something that 99.9% of the fandom will care for, but my God am I going to write my self-indulgent bullshit. But still, I'd be interested to know if there's any interest at all in this BS :D

So I bring my latest WIP, currently titled: Horny Trophy Wife!Henry Committing Adultery with Alex in a Vaguely Historical European Setting, feat. not-Baron Zemo.

Henry looks over at his husband across the table, and barely conceals the grimace that wishes to peek through his wide, placating smile. Five years of his life he has given this man, five years of wearing the mask of a happy, content spouse. It’s true that the Baron is handsome in his own right, unimaginably wealthy and educated and refined despite his humble origin, and on paper ought to be an ideal husband. But the Baron’s stubborn nature and Henry’s tempestuous fury make for a sorry, wretched match. 

Yet Henry cannot say their marriage has been unproductive. Four little angels he has given the Baron, all four with strawberry-hued yellow hair and eyes as blue and fearsome as his own. They are Henry’s creatures, clinging to him like barnacles even as they grew out of infancy. His little angels serve as balms to his unrelenting loneliness, the ache of foreignness and not-belonging that will never dissipate from where it has settled down into his bones like the bitter cold air of this unforgiving land.

Henry craves the excitement he has been denied his whole life. First, because he was a threat to his older brother, who was pale and sickly yet ambitious, a stark contrast to Henry’s vigour, fertility and frivolity. Henry’s circumscribed upbringing was intended to diminish him in the eyes of the world, lest the unparalleled beauty and grace of the spare cause him to rise above the anointed heir. The match with the Baron was therefore ideal: the marriage brought England wealth and a mighty ally, and Henry would vanish out of sight and out of mind. 

Then, because he was dutiful and sweet, he was with child within weeks of his wedding night. His fertile belly had scarcely been empty since, a consequence of his temper flaring up at his husband, making them both concupiscent despite the lack of affection for one another in their hearts. As each one came into the world, the Baron jested that Henry was birthing his own army to rival the Baron’s own. Henry demurely denied his allegations, instead dreaming of more illustrious futures for his babes than to become lords and ladies of desolate lands rich only in the treasures that could be hewn from the rocks. 

But there is little promise of excitement in his life, besides the happiness the children bring. Occasionally, his heart will race – like when there is little news days after the end of one of the Baron’s military campaigns, and he can briefly fantasize about a merry widowhood. Then news arrives and his hopes are dashed and his husband returns and he finds himself once again with child even though the last one is barely out of swaddling clothes. 

A visit by emissaries of a young nation sets the court abuzz. The new nation had been born out of the ashes of a rival empire the Baron had helped set aflame, and so the visitors were to be honoured with days of dazzling amusement. But Henry is in a melancholy mood, and cannot bring himself to pretend to look forward to the long, agonising hours of politicking he will have to attend at his husband’s side. 

There is a silver lining, however. A quite literal one. The Baron, in all of his wisdom and quest to show off his dearest prize, had commissioned an elegant gown for Henry to wear to the ball celebrating the emissaries’ arrival, inspired by the suits of armour from the ancient days of chivalry. And bashful as he might play, Henry is a creature of vanity, excited by the notion of being observed and desired as an ethereal, untouchable beauty: the Baron’s angel of war and mother to his nation.

"Court Drama, where Wei Wuxian fakes his death just so that people end up assuming he was murdered and pin the murder on his new identity."

My first read of that sentence was that he set up the whole thing - and I was trying to figure out what the end game would be. He wants to infiltrate a prison? Trying to uncover some other plot? Then I reread it and...now I think it was unintentional? He tried to fake his death but it got all messed up and now he's on trial for his own murder?

The latter yeah. Also an entirely self-indulgent omegaverse fic though I suppose you could technically write it without.

Uuuh essentially, due to some bullshit kinda shaped like the Wen starting their campaign, we get a wangxian arranged marriage. And Wei Wuxian goes into this under the assumption that he'll have shit to do. Meanwhile, we got LWJ and a guilt complex over landing WWX in this position so he just leaves WWX on his own? Just a whole lot of miscommunication.

And when the Wen do attack, Wei Wuxian decides "okay fuck this actually" and gets out because he's got better things to do than sit around doing nothing all day. So he runs off v much with the intention of faking his death in some form, but also the Wen very much did attack and there's a whole lot of blood and strange-looking talismans so the assumption is that Wei Wuxian is brutally killed, which ends up escalating the war.

And WWX, never idle, decides not to fuck with that perception and hide his identity. He comes across Wen Ning and Qing, some others, and kind of decides to pull a YLLZ.

Sunshot Campaign goes down, and the other sects/kingdoms/dukedoms idk gotta figure that out, are a little sus because WWX did take in Wen, even if he was fighting on their side. And then he pulls something that reminds people of the aftermath of his 'murder' so they end up thinking that the fearsome YLLZ murdered poor Wei Wuxian.

Self-indulgency featured into it because I was fucking around with the thought of a-Yuan as a wangxian baby and WWX partially staying away bc the whole miscommunication left him with the assumption he'd gonna end up like Madam Lan and well, better to run off when nobody knows and is on his case yet about potential heirs, right?

So yeah, idk if I'll ever actually write this bc sometimes my brain shelves anything vaguely omegaverse miscommunication mpreg plot into "this is so cringe, nobody wants to read this Letters, this is daydream material only" category and I feel guilty. Anyway, the summary in my notes is something like:

When the dust settles and the Emperor declares war, the entirety of the jianghu knows this: the Yiling Laozu killed Consort Wei.

Colson didn't think his hand had ever been squeezed so hard but at the same time nothing had ever felt so good. He knew he might be bruised later but he'd heal fast even if something broke. It was heaven though because his lover was turning to him for comfort. For at least the moment he was a good enough alpha his omega felt safer with him. Of course he couldn't bring attention to any of that though without probably losing it, Dom wasn't any better at admitting fear or need than he was besides maybe sexual. Need, not fear obviously- if his baby momma was scared of something in bed he damn well better say. "Ya know if you put your feet up and give me like two minutes down there I can relax your tense ass." He teased, trying to break a little tension. It was thick enough in the room you could cut it with a fang and the stench of nerves was starting to turn his stomach.

"Ya need two? Weak game bruv." Dom huffed back but his death grip eased. He still didn't move for the stirrups however and Col shrugged, he supposed that wasn't necessary yet but he wasn't opposed to playing a little.

Dom had been right about his friend, he actually had set up multiple appointments for the week so whenever the alpha showed up they had one. Thankfully they'd just been resting when Tom entered the room without knocking to tell them. They'd rushed around to get ready, everyone including Dom fearing if he was given any time to think about it he'd have to be convinced again so that was easiest. The omega just hoped he didn't have too much of his alpha's cum still inside him.

He shifted nervously again, his thighs clenched tight even though he wasn't naked. He'd ranted enough on the way that Colson told the nurse who led them back the boy wouldn't be nude unless they absolutely had to do an internal exam. He could still remember his first appointment at such a place, it was etched into the parts of his mind that carried all his trauma. He'd barely been a teenager at the time but they knew from his birth what he'd present as, that was obvious. He remembered feeling a little sick for a few days and his mum said she was taking him to the doctor. Of course his young mind thought that was normal until he was spread wide with a male beta checking out parts of himself he'd never even explored. He'd been dry since it was before his first heat and the bastard hadn't been gentle. It didn't help that both his parents stayed in the room to hear the 'okay'. He found out a few days later his father, 'uncle', and their mob type friends had set him up to be sold. It wasn't supposed to happen anymore but rich enough men could procure whatever they desired and a male omega was rare enough his family would have been set for life. He'd run away to London the next day and never looked back. He truly never thought he'd be in this position, he didn't think he'd find an alpha he could trust. He didn't even trust most betas so finding Colson was… mental.

"We should steal some of this medical shit and play doctor." He was pulled from his thoughts by his daddy's purr and he was surprised when he could smile. He started to reply when there was a knock on the door and he startled, his body locking up tight when the doc didn't even wait for a 'come in'.

"'Ello, I'm Doctor Ward. Miss Ha-"

"Mister." Dom corrected before she could finish. He understood the confusion but that should have been fixed outside.

"Oh Mister Harrison."

"Alright I guess but Dom. Please? Jus' Dom."

"Dom. Good afternoon Dom and you- Mister- oh my god!"

Colson tried to cover a laugh with a cough while his partner huffed and he leaned over the prone punk to offer his hand. "You can just call me Col. But please, I'm barely here. He's in charge." He wasn't going to let anyone treat him like Dom's alpha, this was the kids rodeo, his stud horse just put on a good show. The doc nodded and collected her professionalism again, focusing back on the important one in the room. She smiled down at him and it seemed genuine but they both knew how some people could be around his kind.

"You know, if the two of you wouldn't mind this would be a wonderful help to the medical community. I don't believe we've had a mated pair in…" She trailed off, her gaze going distant behind her glasses but the boy squeezed him tighter.

"We'll think about it, thanks. Can we just… ya know." He tried not to grumble but it was hard, he just wanted to get his anxious omega home and safe but he needed to know his whole pack was okay first.

"Of course, I apologize. Please think about it though. Dom, do you know about how far along you are?"

"Two months, twenty eight days, and… damn. I'd remember the hours but ya know. Time zones." Kells teased and he grinned when his boyfriend blushed and rolled his eyes.

"Thank you. Well, I hate to say it but it'd be best if we checked internally. I can do an ultrasound through your abdomen but not everything may be as accessible as you'd like yet." She kept her tone gentle but Colson still felt his lip curling up in a snarl.

"Tha's fine. Luv shut the fuck up. I'm good. Jus'... Don't leave?" His voice went soft and Col nodded, kneeling next to the examination table so they could be eye level. "Stay right 'ere."

The woman left the room long enough for him to wiggle free of everything below the waist and he immediately felt a rush of cum escape him to soak in the rough crinkly paper. Kells tried not to crack a smirk but Dom could feel the pride radiating from him. "Bastard you is. Right bastard." His cheeks felt on fire by the time their doctor came back but they never broke eye contact and as soon as he could he was holding onto his daddy again. His baby daddy. Fuck.

He tried to drift while she worked, his pink socked toes curling but his alpha kept him breathing and as relaxed as possible. They were so in their own little world that when a fast steady beat started up they almost jumped, blinking at each other owlishly. "There we go." Ward cooed, moving the screen so they had a visual and for the first time Dominic didn't mind having a bloody alien probe up his core. "Is tha'?" He whispered, absolutely refusing to let his emotions take over. He would not cry. He would not.

"What? Is it what?" Col almost whined, he was too wrapped up in keeping his lover soothed that he was so fucking lost but the fingers on his free hand were tapping out the fluttering beat on the table.

"I fink tha's our baby Cols." Dom whispered, his hold on his lover's hand the only thing keeping him from floating away. It was the first time it felt truly real and the first time he didn't almost hurl at the word. There was a baby and it was his. Bloody hell.

"Fuck. What? Isn't that fast?" Colson's throat felt tight but he absolutely refused to cry. He couldn't, Dom needed him.

"That's normal for a fetal heart. They seem perfectly healthy. Thankfully." She winked at the omega, playfully chiding him for not seeing a doctor sooner. Dom thought she might be alright for them even with the rough start. "As long as you're careful now and keep up with appointments I think everything will be perfectly fine even though you've been living normally I assume?" She was trying to be polite but they all knew what was written on the papers, he didn't exactly live healthy before all this.

"Actually um… not entirely true. Jus' cause I refused to admit it don't mean I kept up me 'abits. Ain't 'ad nuffin to smoke or drink since me test. Swear." He explained nervously and Kells chewed his cheek so he wouldn't grin.

"Perfect!" She beamed at them both and moved the wand until she found the best angle.

Dom stared at the screen and tried to figure out how such a tiny jellybean was changing his life so much but as he listened to that rhythmic noise he couldn't imagine not having it now. She froze the picture for them and pulled everything free, handing him a box of wet wipes before she left quietly. The punk couldn't figure out why her demeanor had shifted until he glanced back at his friend and caught the tear tracks down his cheeks. "Oh."

"Shut the fuck up. You're crying." He wasn't actually but he knew he would later, he couldn't let himself break in public he could feel he was going to be a mess.

"'Elp me clean up and get me 'ome? I fink she can get us a video." He whined low, trying to help by giving the alpha a job. "No playing!" He snapped teasingly just in case the man got an idea while wiping him up. Kells glared but wiped his face on the back of Dom's hand before letting him go to walk around the table. Of course he didn't trust him there but he was just thankful to have a moment where he wasn't being stared at and he took a deep breath. He was starting to calm until he felt something against his hole that definitely wasn't a wet nap. The sound of the rapper gagging had him trying to sit up but he was stuck and so messy. "Twat. It ain't flavored lube ya knothead!" He huffed but he couldn't help giggling through the rest of their time in the office, his tension disappearing on a wave of… happiness? How weird.

ok well really its more of a vague series of domestic omegaverse/mpreg/funz with kids brainrots in my mind/a notes document than an actual fic but. i will still talk about it

they have 2 twin girls (who do not have names. bc i am very bad/particular about naming characters. like not only does it have to be a good name that suits the character it also has to be a name that i think they would believably name their child u know) and they love them very much

they have that whole nervous-yet-excited new parents thing going on where when foolish is pregnant they're going to parenting classes and buy a bunch of parenting books bc they want to raise their kids right and they're so excited to start a family together. and then when they finally have the kids its obviously a little overwhelming, as having 2 newborns for the first time would be, but they love them and by god are they trying their best

oh and they both deffo cry when they're born, they have foolish's dark hair and eyes and punz's nose and they look like the perfect mix of both of them and theyre so full of love

despite not living close to all of them (originally had this au set in nc and then kind of realized location didnt really matter. u take ur pick of whoever they live near) a lot of their friends end up being like the cool aunt/uncle. i think tina especially would really love them (partially inspired by how one time on stream she talked about how she doesnt want kids of her own but would want to help her friends raise kids if they had any) also really like the idea of dnn kid existing and being like their cousin who they visit on occasion

when they're little foolish would be all goofy and play pretend with them (he may have had at least some influence in getting them to have both a pirate and a cowboy phase) also he'd totally do that thing where he picks them up and spins them around just to throw them (gently) onto the couch

when the twins get a bit older i think they'd be the type of parents to make them try out a bunch of sports, one of them gets really into soccer for a while and they both have that whole sports-parent who carpools with a minivan thing going on

and omg they'd totally be the kids with Cool Parents at school, like no way your parents are YOUTUBERS and they're friends with MR BEAST?? :0

i think maybe when the twins get a little older they have one more kid but i havent really put as much thought into it, i just like writing foolish as really family oriented like i think he'd like having a big family

Amaryllis knew she was facing quite the challenge with trying to figure out the identity of her other parent, but she was Jaskier's daughter; that meant she inherited the "never-backing-down-from-a-challenge gene". She was going to find out who it was, come hell or high water.

Her Papa was a little too tight-lipped about the whole ordeal. Amaryllis didn't know if it was because he actually had no clue, or because he just didn't want to reveal it, but it seemed like that if it remained up to him, Amaryllis would never find out.

Clearly, pressing Jaskier for further info wouldn't work, so Amaryllis needed a different method to investigate. And how lucky she was to have a father who was such a hopeless romantic with a great artistic streak, that he sentimentally kept a journal all these years- a journal that may or may not have contained the clues about what Amaryllis so desperately wanted to know.

She felt a little bad about rummaging through Jaskier's drawers to find his diary. She's made a promise she would never read his intimate thoughts, but desperate times called for drastic measures.

"Are you sure there's anything of substance in there?" Vera, one of her friends and bridesmaids, asked, as Amaryllis sat them down in her bedroom and waved Jaskier's diary in front of their noses.

"I know he used to write a lot," Amaryllis explained. She ran her fingers over the birds and flowers on the cover. "He even told me himself. It was a kind of comfort for him. Songs, short stories, just talking about his day... he still wrote in it when I was little."

"And you think he also wrote about all the people he's slept with," Marion, her other bridesmaid, pointed out with a chuckle. Amaryllis snorted.

"I know it sounds weird, but I think he did. He's exactly the type of person who would write epic poems about his romances, no matter how short-lived. I think if there's anything that could help us, it's this diary."

There was a chance she was wrong, of course, and that she wouldn't find anything in the diary. But she had to try: she's dreamt about this all her life. About someone who cared for Jaskier the way he deserved, who helped him through everything. Amaryllis knew she couldn't give Jaskier back all those lonely years of raising her alone, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to try and mend things. Maybe it was never too late to try and build the kind of family she and her father both deserved. It was her wedding, after all, which was the best opportunity to make everything perfect.

Taking a deep breath, Amaryllis sat between her friends and opened the diary.

They had to pass through many boring entries about Jaskier's mundane days, and then some angry rants about the one who shall not be named, even though everyone knew exactly, that those entries were about Valdo Marx, Jaskier's biggest rival. They attended the same theater group in high school, and they hated each other with a burning passion, being the two most talented of their peers. They competed with each other all the time, and they applied to the same college of performing arts.

Valdo got in, and Jaskier got pregnant. Jaskier didn’t immediately apply after finishing high school, because he decided to help his aunt on the island by working at the inn. And with having a baby so soon, he never even had the chance to get into that college. Amaryllis swallowed the guilt down heavily.

After many irrelevant drabbles interspersed with various ideas on how Jaskier was planning to murder Valdo, they reached a long segment with many glittery hearts and rainbows drawn on the margins, which caught their attention.

"Look at the date!" Marion squealed, "Summer of 2002!!"

"Shit," Amaryllis's heart sped up. This was it. She was born in the May of 2003, so the summer of 2002 was when Jaskier has spent the most time on the island, and has gotten pregnant with Amaryllis.

"That's a long entry," Vera chuckled. "Slept with a guy named Jonathan... Not very remarkable and he smells like gasoline. Cindy is cute... oh, Cindy is an Omega, we're crossing her off the list. Thomas took me behind a trashcan!? I'll never be able to look into your father's eyes again. Are you planning on going through all of these?"

"Well, we have to narrow it down," Amaryllis said. "Let's count quickly... I was born in May, so nine months back is... August. Let's focus on August."

"August the third, what a night!" Amaryllis read out loud. "After what felt like years of trying to convince him, Geralt finally agreed on spending the night together. Dear Diary, let me tell you, this man is a beast in bed!"

Oh, God. Amaryllis will also never be able to look into her father's eyes again.

"He's so hot, I can't control myself around him. It's been three weeks since he helped me after my car broke down on the road. His defined muscles are practically bursting out of his shirt. I still shiver just remembering the sight of him working on that flat tire... bloated biceps on display... his long, white hair falling into his eyes... those wild, amber eyes, like a wolf, how I wished he would devour me!"

Huh. Jaskier sure had a vivid imagination.

"My brave, strong Alpha knight in black armor! He always wears black. He's spending the month on the island, holidaying with his family. I hope he stays longer, though he says he has to go back to finish college. He's gonna be a personal trainer, which makes so much sense, just look at him! I wanna be in those strong arms all the time. He's a bit grumpy, and he doesn't speak a lot, and he seems so traditional, too, not wanting to jump my bones right away... But then... He did! Dear Diary, when I tell you that he has a huge... "

"Yikes," Amaryllis quickly passed the following, explicit lines about the night Jaskier and his big strong knight spent together. The night when maybe, a white-haired, muscled introvert has knocked up her father.

The next entry was Jaskier talking about being so in love with Geralt, who then broke his heart by telling him that he needed to leave the island earlier with his family, and he didn't want to make things complicated by continuing their romance.

The next entry came a week later. It told the story of Jaskier falling in love again.

"August the tenth, what a night! I was approached by a lovely Beta named Radovid. He is literally blond Prince Charming... not on a white horse, but in a white Bentley. And those blue eyes... and that smile... He's sweet but knows how to flirt. He just inherited his father's company (coconuts? He mentioned what they were trading but I forgot, I think it was coconuts), so he has lots of money. Has the idea of being a sugar baby crossed my mind for a hot second? Maybe. But actually, he could be completely broke and I would still end up in his lap with how smoothly he was talking me out of my pants all night."

"Oh, Papa," Amaryllis chuckled, "you're so easy, bless your little slutty heart."

"He told me I was the prettiest Omega he has ever seen, and that he would love to hear me sing one day! He looked so good in that maroon button up, I couldn't wait to get him out of it. He ordered me the most expensive drink. I didn't want to offend him by telling him it tasted like dishwater. The way he looked at me over the rim of his glass was worth it, though. He could peel an orange open with just one look. We spent a wonderful night together. Very gentle and generous lover! I especially liked it when he..."

"Dude," Vera groaned, "why does your father have to go into such details?"

"Well, he never intended this to end up in our hands," Amaryllis chuckled.

Of course, the Disney Prince left the same way Geralt, the big buff paramour did: his freshly inherited business called out for him, and he left a very sad, and possibly pregnant Jaskier behind on the island.

But Jaskier wasn't mourning for long.

"August the twenty-fifth, what a night! I think I've mentioned Yennefer the chef in training before, right? She's working at the inn for this summer, and I've been trying to seduce her for two months and she refused all of my advances! But then Auntie threw a little party, and this time, she was the one that came up to me! She's such a sassy Alpha. Insanely hot too. Very sharp tongue and also very talented, if you know what I mean... "

They didn't need to know what he meant because Jaskier described it quite vividly in the next paragraph.

"I'm pretty sure the guests heard us going at it the whole night, but it was worth it! She's so beautiful, I couldn't stop looking at her lying next to me, raven-haired, violet-eyed supermodel, God! I wish I could paint so I could capture her beauty as she lay bare next to me. I'm already sad knowing she will have to go home soon, but maybe I can try and convince her to stay..."

He didn't manage, clearly, because Yennefer also went home, oblivious to the fact that maybe she and Jaskier made a baby on that night.

Amaryllis put the diary down with a big sigh. So many emotions swirled inside her: excitement over finally finding clues, sadness for her father's broken heart, also a whole amount of nervousness realizing that three horses were in this race. Her other parent was one of the three that Jaskier played hanky panky with in August.

"It's one of them," Amaryllis said, staring down at the tiny sandpiper in the corner of the cover. "But God, which one?"

"It's hard to tell, like, we cannot exactly determine the date of your conception," Marion replied. "But, out of the thousand people your father has slept with, we managed to narrow it down to Muscle Man, Ritchie Ritch, and Savage Soufflé."

"That's still three people!" Amaryllis threw her hands up in frustration. "How am I supposed to decide which one's the real one?"

She dropped her hands into her lap with a deep sigh. She got closer to the solution, but instead of making things easier, this revelation actually complicated everything even more. Amidst the sea of people Jaskier has had sex with, stood out three islands, but they were so distant.

She couldn't figure it out just by looking at their names. And she couldn't figure it out by asking Jaskier. She looked down on the diary, then opened it again. On the margins, next to the tiny doodles, were addresses scribbled down- with a tiny note saying "if I'd be brave enough to go after them."

An idea formed in her head. A crazy one, perhaps, but right now, it felt like her only chance of finding the other parent she was longing for.

"I'd know if I met them," Amaryllis eventually said. Seeing her friends' confused faces, she continued. "I think if I saw them in person, if I talked to them... I would feel it. Papa wrote down their address. I could send them a letter."

"Or you could find them on social media like any normal person would," Marion told her. "A letter? In this century?"

"Yeah, well... they don't know me. But they know my Papa. And if I wrote in his name and asked them to come see him... they might. I don't want to leave any traces behind, and once something lands on the internet, it stays there forever... besides, I know my father is a hopeless romantic. If he were to write a letter to his previous beaus, he would go all traditional and write a letter with his own hands."

"And what are the chances their address is still the same?" Vera chimed in. "And that the mailman would deliver a letter to someone whose last name you don't even know?"

"I have to try. That's the only way I can figure out who it is. And not a word about this to my father!"

She stared at the hearts on the margins, and smiled. Her Papa will absolutely kill her if he finds out, but that was a risk she was willing to take if it meant finally finding the rest of her family.

Strange. Jaskier could have sworn his diary was in the third drawer, not the second. But maybe he remembered it wrong.

He sat on the bed and hugged his diary to his chest with a sigh. It was silly of him, to suddenly feel the need to take a trip down memory lane just now, but truth be told, Amaryllis's question triggered some memories; memories of passionate nights and happy mornings, syrupy-sweet romances and horrible heartaches.

His heart got broken, and he broke other people's hearts, many times. As a young, reckless Omega who fell in love with anyone, he didn't really stop to care.

But now, his adult daughter needed an answer that Jaskier brushed under the rug all the time. Did he not know who it was? He didn't, not really. Did he not have a clue?

Well. He wasn't very good at Math, but he was able to count to nine. It wasn't as if the idea never crossed his mind, and while he has went through half the population of the island that summer, there was only a handful of people he had sex with in August, shockingly.

But Jaskier promised himself he would never go there, even though those three somehow always stood out - his feelings for them ran a little deeper than for the rest. He even had half a mind to seek them out after he parted from them, but he was too much of a coward. And a slut, probably. Who knows, maybe one of his one-night stands that came after knocked him up. Anything was possible with how much he used to sleep around.

They were all in the past, anyway. Those three, and the several others, too. It would tear up too many scars to try and get into this too deeply.

He needed to focus on making Amaryllis's big day special, instead.

It was a modern AU where WWX and JC are raising JL together, but have to work at a sex line (JC) and strip club (WWX, not sure about this one) to make ends meet (there was also a scene of JL finding out). we all know what happened next, with marceline bringing him into the woods and not being able to make it. because like, right after she set him down, his water broke.

blah blah, they run into finn, explain simon is like, pregnant and about to give birth, set up a location, and then simon (and marcy) are faced with another problem.

it's pretty obvious to everyone that simon's bump was huge. morri is huge. the actual place they'd be born from.. not so much. but that doesn't dissuade morri, who has been trying to get that gd seal off them for months, and is not going to waste another second hiding in their old man. things are going super fast.

and things do not look great down there. marcy is totally winging this delivering a baby thing. simon kept going from silence- just trying to ride through the contractions, to screaming like a dying animal. marceline was terrified the whole time, especially when simon said he felt like he was gonna rip open.

so yeah, it was pretty messy. simon did not make giving birth to a twelve pound baby out unscathed, he definitely tore. when morri was out marceline gave him what little medical attention she could, which honestly wasn't a lot- pb had to do some quick fixing when she showed up, and i don't think he would've made it if not for the cosmic energy radiating through him from carrying morrigan.

it was a good while before simon recuperated enough to be moved, and it sorta spooked everyone when he just.. got up like he didn't just finish pushing out a 12 pound baby. those pain meds were a godsend, by the way, simon was never happier for them in his entire life.

victory! they got him home and in bed with his brand new baby, and marceline stuck by for a few weeks to help take care of morri while simon healed. simon was zonked out but very happy to have a baby in his arms, his baby.

Whilst I take care of the next installment of “A Mate Reject and a Gamma” I figure I’ll take a poll from the masses to see of actually Intersex Tobirama is a good idea for Useful Blades. Important; bold is addressing fanfiction in general as well.

Before you nuke me, here’s the thought process I had. Originally, what made me think about Useful Blades was what lengths Tobirama would go to be useful and obviously I wanted it to be MadaTobi so an arranged marriage would be the call to action and has been done effectively and beautifully (love this corner of the fandom, you guys are the best) but as a (mad) scientist and a bride growing up in the period, providing an heir would be one of those things he’d consider. I could go the drama route of him pushing Madara to girls or second wives (blergh) and I might end up using briefly but the scientist genius part struck me as “if Orochimaru could do it…..” and so on. But then I thought, seals and such are possible sure, scifi tube baby too (which would be hilarious with the idea of Izuna walking down to Tobirama’s science cellar and finding glass cases of infants and freaking tf out). Sexy no jutsu and Kage Bunshin’s lovechild could also be a possibility. But then I thought, what if it was his understanding of medical science that he twisted himself? Then I thought, what if he already innately had a set to work with.

Thus, I thought, if he was intersex in a time with poor understanding genetics as a whole and had XX chromosomes but appeared “incompletely” masculine Tobi would still be raised a man and identify as such. Infertility and difficulty of getting pregnant would be interesting concepts to explore in a person driven to provide an heir. Very angsty.

Of course there’s already plenty of angst to be found in his albinism and consequential hinderances to his health. It is also a personal headcanon the man has some degree of autism or something akin to it, the man has a neural divergence for sure. So it wouldn’t be necessary but it would be an interesting thought to follow.

Chimerism was considered too since it seems like a possibility with what happened with Itama’s hair. Albino and not? Genetics are weird enough but applying to anime is madness….

Intersex Tobirama hasn’t been explored much if at all outside of the strange pseudo intersex of omegverse mpreg which… is weirdly close to the idea of a “true hermaphrodite” and fetishization of it. Granted heats and bonds and such aren’t, ya know, an actual thing so it blurs the lines for most. Could get into a whole rant about it but no…

If I did make Tobirama intersex I’d be dancing a very precarious line. Lines. XX is sexually recognized as the female chromosome set. Intersex XX Tobirama/Cis XY Madara could read as a heterosexual if not futa sort of thing. Stepping vaguely on trans territory by nature, misconstrued as homophobia, and so forth. Intersex individuals are in the political crossfire at the moment, what with the US doing whatever it is they’re doing about gender affirming care. The last thing this group needs is a salt on wounds monkey show in the form of glorified dehumanizing porn.

That being said, Actually Intersex Tobirama could be problematic as it could be beneficial. Exposing people to accurate information in the form of storytelling is an amazing way for masses to learn. Intersex representation in modern media and art is negligible at best. However because it is a story it is bound to be unrealistic. I’m also not intersex myself so conjectures made by the information I have and just human empathy wouldn’t mean it would apply to everyone across the board. The human experience is a vast one and the intersex community is vast in itself. Experiences and cultures and times all so different…

So yeah, I could dive head first and try my best, or I could leave it. I don’t care for “political correctness” as a face thing, I care more for the people that can be validated and felt seen. Or likewise, hurt by it.
