#TMNT 2012#casey jones 2012#raphael hamato#rasey#this is platonic again but I’m not against romantic subtext or whatever#when I was in school being able to do this with your hand was super cool and I often still do it with both#but I’ve met both adults and kids who’ve never seen it before and it freaks them out ahaha#anyway I was jus thinking of hands again and this is a warm up sketch#but i do think thee two would have heart to hearts on rooftops sometimes and really open up#maybe theyre sat next to eachother and raph looks at his thigh next to Casey’s and gets self conscious#maybe one of them was hurt in a fight (probably Casey) and theyre patching eachother up and they just start exploring their differences#or maybe its something as simple as raph asking casey if he was Tarzan and the scene with the hands and Casey’s like yo we can do that#or even more childish theyre just doing it to see who’s hands bigger because Casey’s sister has been doing it a lot and its fun#because let me tell you it doesnt matter how old the kids i work with are they all love comparing my hand with theirs#but i imagine Raphs eyes for a second would give away hes upset a little cause he’s definitely the most self conscience about being a mutant#so Casey would do this and be like ahh look see we arent that different really#raph could bend his fingers to emphasise how much shorter Casey’s are#and cause would say something like these digits might be small but theyre mighty#leading to a shove or even a thumb war or something#anyway ill stop gushing i have a comission to do xxx#OH OH OH THE BITE MARK ON CASEY IS BECAUSE A MUTUAL COMMENTS ABOUT EATING MY RASEY ART SO THATS THEIR TEETH but im not naming names....

i LOVE the voicelines Medic has with Haunted Archimedes, he's not disturbed or even slightly put off by the fact that his zombified dove is 1. talking and 2. has a violent and constant craving for brains. he's just like. being a slightly irritated pet owner about it. he's just like "ugh yes archimedes vants all zhe brains doesn't he. now shut up". also i think this is the most on-model medic drawing i've ever done wtf

Honestly I think the reason I haven’t drawn as much in the last few years is due to the simple fact that my last sketchbook had shitty paper
#it really makes all the difference sketching on like a bristol vellum or pen and ink sketcher paper#coarse sketching paper will fucking ruin you sometimes#anyways happy to report that fringe sketchbooks are legit I even tested them with my old lightfast inks#nice and smooth paper it’s like a fuckin dream#is the upcharge for an aesthetically pleasing hardcover a bit much? yes but at least the paper inside is decent#like a good replacement for my old bee paper pen sketcher pads that I used to draw in but literally no shop near me has carried them for#at least five years and they weren’t even on amazon#might go pick up a second tomorrow honestly like damn

Each time I think I’ve finally become normal about This Fucking Family my brain comes up with shit like “Hey have you noticed how much Liba looks like young Sunat?” and now I want to throw up
#Liba inherited more of Jusamah’s face shape and complexion but other than that. look!! they’re partially identical!!!#(*practically. I ain’t rewriting all that)#I did not mean for their clothes to look so similar. and I have been meaning to redesign Liba’s#since I was drawing quickly when I came up with her and put 0 thought into it#but that just adds to the effect. Been feeling a little down this week, at least the Lions play tomorrow 🦁🏈
#arcane#about that act three..#I’m honestly just a little disappointed#the pacing#the writing#the almost everything storywise#it just fumbled the ball#I wouldn’t say it was the WORST ending I’ve ever scene for a show#it’s just not that good for such an amazing show#I feel like they just started picking up speed on episode 5 and they couldn’t slow down#so it just turned into a a big old mess#I swear it’s like they just went#���people really liked the sad bits from the first season. so that can only mean they want MORE sad bits with no meaning or reasoning!’#like no dude#people liked the sad bits from season 1 cause they where well written and meaningfull#just making everyone depressed every 5 seconds in season 2#it looses meaning#especially when you just keep flipping it like a light switch#happy now sad happy now sad happy now sad#I could sit here and unpack how I feel about how they handled the majority of the character arcs quite poorly#and just some of the strange writing descions they made for this season#but im just so tired#arknights#lone trail#stupid medals I lost so much sleep for them#at least silence is happy#anything for you Beyoncé#digital sketch
