I also randomly think about often in the remaster resident evil how Chris' interactions with wesker goes. And no I don't mean this in the gay ass way. Instead in the you learn a lot about how outside of this incident Chris must be very damn good at a lot of things to regarded that highlyby wesker. Cause parallel to jills route she never gets all the same dialog. But also I love the way that wesker in that route as opposed to Jill seems more keen on sharing the information about the tyrant. It isn't oh just time to die Jill. It's parallels that still have the similar outcome but also tell us so much about the characters. It also tells that yep wesker is a sore lower and I love that Chris actually just looked at the situation and just went 'dude your being stupid' in response to that like yeah the betrayal must've hurt Chris is loyal to a fault but I think it's so funny that he just laughs in response. Both routes give us a lot on the protags and I love all the subtle differences

Idk how to word.it I just love this damn game and can quote the intro cutscene it's an issue.

I also just love Chris' character in this game. The sass in the face of death will always be iconic.

A groan leaves your mouth involuntarily when the soft sounds of rustling fabric slowly pulls you from the world of sleep. It ceases for a moment, and it's all the few seconds you need to crack one eye open to find Ada placing spare clothes into a backpack.

You close your eyes and sigh before stretching as as you can; like a cat, letting out a sound of satisfaction when a few joints crack satisfyingly.

The rustle of clothes and gear continue, and you are content to keep your eyes closed for just a few moments more. It's the sound of pills clinking against a plastic surface that successfully wakes your mind up and you can't help the grin that overtakes your lips.

"I don't think ibuprofen has ever been of any help in your line of work, babe."

Ada let's out a chuckle before the sound of a closing zipper takes up the silence that follows. You hear her solidly pat the fabric of the bag, a habit of hers you once compared to how a dad pats the hood of a car after finishing up with tampering the engine.

"Hypothetically speaking, a spy is more likely to pack roofies than ibuprofen, darling."

A humorous scoff leaves your lips and you finally open both your eyes for the first time since waking up tonight, you roll on your front and turn your head to face Ada- A teasing smile on your lips.

"And hypothetically speaking, you don't have a firearms license because all the firearms hidden around our house are loaded with paintballs."

You watch her hoist her bag onto the ottoman, eyes never leaving her form even as she turns to walk in your direction, even as she sits down back on her side of your bed. Ada slowly cards a hand through your hair, her fingernails ever so slightly scratching at your scalp.

For a little while there is nothing but contented silence floating in the bedroom air, the dim light from a nightstand lamp being the only thing illuminating the vast space.

The darkness of the room cannot dim the light in your fiancé's eyes as you bring your hand to lay atop of hers, which has now gone from your hair to your cheek. Ada smiles softly, slowly lifting your hand to her lips and placing a kiss to the back of it.

"Ever the gentlewoman, huh?"

"Unlike Leon, I actually know how to act around women."

The unexpected jibe at your shared acquaintance makes you burst out laughing. The light in her eyes and the smile on her lips never leaves Ada's face, infact they seem to brighten even more at the sound of your joy as she slips back under the covers.

Ada positions your bodies so that her arms are wrapped around you and your head is tucked beneath her chin, she does not pass up the chance to leave a lingering kiss to the crown of your head.

"The man is gay, Ada."

You feel her hum and you feel the follow up shrug as well. It does not escape your attention that her smug smile only grows at your words.

"So is Claire and yet she ended up with Valentine, while Leon and Chris still dance around each other like flaunting peacocks."

You poke her side, mumbling against her collarbone that she knew damn well that wasn't what you meant. Ada only settles down in reply, tightening an arm around you before readjusting the duvet so that both of you are snuggly cocooned in warmth. Comfortable, unbroken silence stretches out for so long that you feel your eyelids start to droop without your notice.

"So when's your next deployment, badass? I know it can't be next week since you always pack earlier than what's normally reasonable."

She hums in thought, trying to guess a possible date of when she'll be given the green light to begin the reconnaissance mission. She whispers to you "It might be a month from now? Two weeks at the very least? There was that one time that it took her employers almost half a year to finalize all the mission details."

You hum and Ada assumes you're brainstorming possibilities alongside her. But when she asks you what your best guess is and she gets no response after a beat, the thoughtful look is wiped from her face and all theories of field deployment are put away.

"Psst."

There is no response from you, only silence and lack of motion. She notices that your breathing has evened out and she shakes her head in fondness before letting out a sigh of contentment. "Was I really that boring, my darling girl?"

Ada doesn't need to look to know that you've fallen asleep on top of her. She closes her own eyes, places another lingering kiss on your head before taking a deep breath, committing the current moment to her memory as best as she can. Ada wills herself to go to sleep as well, but not before whispering a soft reminder to you.

"I love you, sweet thing."

The spy allows asleep to overcome her with a light heart in her chest, the light smile on her lips never fading as your hand resting on her shoulder subconsciously taps a finger four times against her skin in reply.

Three consecutive taps, a short delay, and then another tap.

"I love you too."

"Oh so now you wanna admit we're lost" you said in a slight bit of anger and disbelief while Carlos just stared at you.

Then there was a knock on the drivers window, yall jumped back like yall were jumping into last week. It was a police officer though, so Carlos rolled down his window. While being on guard I might say.

"What are you two doing out here this late?" The officer exclaimed. "We're so sorry officer, we're lost, uhh do you know where the Wells Hotel is?" you asked, Carlos was just sitting back in his seat looking at you.

The officer nodded and gave you two directions, around 20 minutes later you guys were at the hotel.

As soon as yall got into the room, you set your bags down and jumped on the bed closest to the wall. You were knocked out shortly after.

The myth definitely made it a tough decision, especially since I finished the Sea God before I finished his original myth and also his newest Five Star. The BUTTERFLIES MEAN SO MUCH MORE NOW. Honestly Rafayel is short one good card to going back to second (Probably my fault. I can only spend so much and I promised to keep it to one character after buying my way to Rafayel's second myth pair) So Pray I get a new Rafayel 5 Star

In Second is Sylus! The new kid on the block. The Evil Leader of Onychinus!!! Resident Dom and Quid Pro Quo Master. Let's get into why I ranked him here. One all his outfits were fucking slaying 1000% and YES ofc I bought the matching outfit are you insane. MC has never looked better, I was sobbing. Two Red Eyes, no I won't explain. Three, MC and his dymanic is fun, also I didn't have to come up with a nickname. He already had one for me~ I stole it immediately. Also you know that Love triangle scenario where your stuck between the good boy, smart, probably athletic, cold. (COUGHCOUGHZAYNECOUGH) and the rough bad boy motorcycle 🏍 😎 delinquent? Yeahhh he fits the vibe. And it was working. Honestly I used to make fun of the people who chose the bad boys over the good ones but ngl. Sylus was actually really close to dethroning Zayne too much for comfort 😭 BUT ZAYNE IS STILL #1 AND HERE IS WHYYY

One thing saved Zayne. We'll two. First is his outfit that I will be collecting from yet another Sylus event! Two is his world underneath chapter. Or well the Greyson's chapter. IT KILLED ME. And than we find out the King of Hyrule, before his death, cast a spell on the entirety of Hyrule so ones with the exact personality traits to wield the whole Triforce, so the Triforce Mark will appear on a person whom is worthy of wielding it. But that's not all, the King wanted to be extra sure, they were worthy of obtaining the Triforce of Courage so he created a giant temple filled with traps and guards, in a land known as the "Valley of Death" on the largest island of Hyrule. Than he put in a unbreakable forcefield over it. Then he created more bizarre temples aroudn hyrule.

The King also filled all these temples with his loyal monsters, as he has monsters and wanted to protect them from evil forces. He also has the ability to create Gods (censored to Guardians in the USA version) to act as the bosses of these temples.

Infact these deities of the Temples are all created from the King's men like his bodyguard, captain of the Guards and even his own horse was transformed into a deity!

Finally the King gave a bunch of Crystal's and a magic scroll to Impa's ancestor. Only someone worthy of wielding the Triforce, could read the scroll, than they were to be given the Crystals and if they were worthy, they'd get through each temple and put the crystals in the statue.

Only than would the force field around the Great Palace would go away.

But basically the dungeons and their residents are NOT evil in Zelda II, they just get in Link's way to test him like the Guardians in the Monk's Trials. This doesn't mean they're not annoying bastards to fight though.

Also some of the monsters created by the King including proto Rito known as Fokka, they live up to their name.

Hi, I read the situation and honestly it hurts seeing what happen to Trein, but the concept of NRC being isolated reminds me of Resident Evil/Biohazard stage and its manga manhawa desire.

Both of this is isolated and same time the ink infection made me think of the "Epic Mickey" like its involve of the inks and its monster creation.

So I imagine that there is a cure for this situation.

yes there is infact a cure, however it's hard to make since some ingredients are harder to obtain, or aren't obtainable on sage island (eg, a crushed, freshly mined mage stone, an ink blossom yet to bloom, ink, pheonix tears, etc). plus they're still trying to figure out a recipe that works. not too mention even after recieving the antidote, some features may remain, aswell as a black marking resembelling the ink blossom permanently staining the skin of those who were once infected.

Well sweet innocent reader, yes Satan, The Devil, Lucifer, the most unclean one. (Ahh the old names)

And No, Satan is Not the "Bad guy". In fact the term Satan translates to adversary, and that is not synopsis with "Evil". (Is the hero not the adversary to the villain?)

What modern Abrahamic based society depicts as the devil (horns and the like) are warped depictions of other cultures (tribal/heathen/pagan) old gods. Who infact predate Christianity (and the like) by a few hundred years.

Satanism is more about the self. Whatever aspect that is to the practioner. It is upon the individual to conduct themselves in "civilized" culture as they see fit. To many "normal" people, Satanist are viewed as aloof, selfish and often times offensive. (In my personal experience)

There are various aspects, "beliefs" and opinions in regards to Satanism and The LHP. While a majority tend to be Atheist, there are a few who are Thiestic.

The Church of Satan (Atheist)

"Satan, is the best friend The Church has ever had, for he has kept them in business for so long"

Ahhhhh, good old Anton Salazar LeVay. Say what you will about the man. (We all have our opinions) the dude knew how to have a party. A man with a rich career history, (Carney to crime scene photography) LeVay was an observer of the world around him. Birthing The Church of Satan in April of 1966, LeVays philosophy set the foundation for many in more then one way.

LeVayian Satanism (Modern Day Satanism) regards Satan (depicted by the image of Baphomet) as an archetype for man's (humankind) inner beast. The caged animal we keep inside, that yearns to roam free. Anton LeVay held that modern society disregards and shuns our most primal and basic needs.

"There is a beast in man that needs to be Exercised not excorsied"

Some of LeVays written works include; The Satanic Bible, The Satanic Witch, and Satan Speaks. Information on other aspects in regards to LeVayian Satanism can be found on The Church of Satan's website.

The Church is still active, membership is available (with an application and fee) and does not actively seek followers. (Satanist don't recruit, we suggest, we guide)

The Satanic Temple (Atheist)

The Satanic Temple (TST) or as CoS likes to through shade, curt tail followers. (I got nothing against TST) Founded in 2012, by Lucien Greaves they have chapters around the United States. (We have at least four in California)

They hold similar outlooks as LeVayians do. (Which pisses the Church off) except Greaves has built upon said outlooks and has truly made them his own.

One thing both have in common is their love of performance. It goes with out saying, we Satanist love our dramatics and aesthetics. (I sure fucking do)

TST is responsible for the Baphomet statue outside an Alabama courthouse. Among other "outrageous" public antics. (Hail Satan! I LOVE it). The Temple leans towards activism over a good old fashioned orgy. (I'm sure they still happen) The main chapter resides in Salem, Massachusetts. They advocate for the right to; openly practice our beliefs, a woman's right to choose, and the eradication of Christian indoctrination within the public school system. There are other campaigns, which can be found on The Satanic Temples main website. Where you can find literature and more information on their personal doctrine. Also, they have some wicked campaign associated merch and membership is less disciplined as CoS.

Theistic Satanism

Theistic Satanism does exists and often times is misunderstood and shunned. Not just by society, but often with in the Satanic community as a whole. (like I said, predominantly atheist)

Temple of Set

Founded by Michael Aquino, a former member of The Church of Satan. They see the Egyptian God of war, chaos and Storms as the real god, and the term Satan(in their opinion) is derived from the name Set. They are extremely esoteric (intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people with a specialized knowledge or interest) in nature. So with respect to that, I care not to speak to much on their ideology or practices. Aquino has a book available for the non initiate who wish to discover.

I have met one practioner of that craft, and they are a rather interesting bunch. Their magic, is heavy and difficult to work with. It isn't for everyone.

Luciferianism

Luciferianism as a whole venerates the essential characteristics affixed to Lucifer. (And gods associated with the planet Venus). Lucifer is not seen as a dark vengeful force, but a force of enlightenment. Often times The Light Bringer or Morning Star (which in Latin is Lucifer) The Architype, predates Christianity, and his energy was worshipped in the Roman/Greek era long before The Cult of Yahweh made him The Devil. While it's considered theistic, some do not openly view Lucifer as a deity.

There is no church or organization, and some websites tend to be... Problematic.

While there are other sects, (some I care little to mention for my own personal reasons) I find these two to be the more common and often practiced among Theist.

For me I definitely agree Zephia doesn’t work as a parent, but the story definitely implies she chose to see Sombron, resident “has his kids killed by his zombies if they so much as sneeze” and then just pops another one out with a different dragon lady as a good parental figure to take advice from. The way he describes kids as “unconditional loyalty” who “owe him” for being born and thus have to work for him the rest of their lives till he thinks they aren’t working hard enough and get “fired”. All of this despite having zero actual parental ability and being a boss who treats his kids like disposable employees.

i mean zephias obviously not suppose to be a good parental figure, shes suppose to be a pretty shitty one infact whos allegiance to sombron and his goals and her utter ruthlessness ultimately causes her whole faux family thing to collapse.

my problem lies in how the story writes it though, cause well the story very much wants us to understand and feel that despite having so many blood children sombron feels not actual familial connection to any one or any thing as part of its general themes and motivators primarily in regard to alear and veyle [and which works very well in their case]

by contrast though the game much wants us to consider the four hounds as an actual family unit in some sense that tragically fall apart because of their allegiance to evil. but it never really gets to the point it should, cause even accounting for zephia being a bad mother it never actually feels like shes a mother to the four hounds at all, nor do any of the four hounds feel like family to each other. they just feel like coworkers. and that'd be fine if we were suppose to regard the whole thing in a similar light as sombron winner of the most neglectful evil father of all of fire emblem of all time award and his many sired children, but we arent were suppose to regard them as a true family if an evil dysfunctional one.

You don't say? Honestly, it wouldn't be a surprise if the folks who make the Resident Evil games makes a new villian sole based on No 9. That kaiju would perfectly fit into that type of game.

And you are saddly correct that front on just how much of a bigger problem No 9 will be here. My friend has told me that due how he has made his au, some of the canon events takes longer to happen since No 9 is fully distracted with how Kafka came to be. Not to mention how Bakko is basically a successor to the projects second go.

Theres too much interesting stuff to learn, and neither 9 nor that Meireki kaiju want to miss it. So they don't mind putting a pause on their world domination plans. For now.

Too bad for both kaijus they are about to learn that Kafka is not only a 9.8 fortitude kaiju build to kill other kaijus. But has many other tricks that is ready to give them a bad time.

Kafka also becomes a bit of a translator for Bakko. Turns out while the big cat isn't on the same level as Kafka, he still has some opinions and now has the means to say them to everyones face.

And Kafka does infact prefers to walk on all four. Though he finds walking on two is sometimes the better option. But from what I understand, this new hight is a necessary thing as it allows Kafka to both have a bipedal and quadrupedal form without issue.

And since Kafka takes a form thats very similare to that of a Lunagaron, at least in the aspect of being able to change form, its no wonder he is that big. You just need to add some lizard like features along side some of the canon feature of the original form to boot to get it right.

Or so he says anyways. I have a bit of a hard time seeing it to be honest even when he has shown me some drawing he has of the form. I think he is struggling a little with how he want Kafka to turely look honestly.

And its a shit show alright. Though which on is worse depends on how one see it. One thing is for sure though, things are about to get interesing for Kafka and Soshiro.

If they make a Resident Evil villain based on No.9 then expect it to be meme'd, lol. The franchise is already insane and there's a mold based contagion too. Wonder if Capcom would bring back those anime based skins like they did for Monster Hunter. 🤔

Kafka being the translator is both cute and funny. Bakko finally gets to make a valid point rather than just be part of the conversation. That tiger definitely has some things to say, lol.

Soshiro and Kafka are gonna be quite busy on both sides of things. No.9 being distracted is honestly a blessing with all things considered. The less he indulges in his usual plots, the more time the Defense Force has to handle things.

I think what your friend meant by height is the body structure. Dogs aren't built to stand on two legs for long as it'll damage their spines. Lunagaron was made with werewolf inspiration in mind which means their body frame is suitable for both styles of walking.

May as well make a headcanon post involving Nyx since she's relevant for Christophe's Helluva/Hazbin AU.

Things may be subject to change cuz I'm indecisive.

Faceclaim for Nyx is Black Swan from Honkai Star Rail.

Now first off, Christophe and Nyx are NOT romantically involved in each other in any way. Nyx may make flirtarious remarks around or towards him, but this is also her strange and sort of twisted way of teasing him and sometimes trying to mess with his head. Infact their relationship is a bit complicated (which I'll dive into later). Again, the two are NOT romantically involved in each other in any way.

Nyx is the Goddess of the Night and she resides in the Underworld within Tartarus. Despite just being the Goddess of Night, she too has her own collection of souls, though the souls she has collected are souls that are waiting fo be reborn into a brand new life, so she claims.

When fate calls, Nyx will put someone to sleep. Not meaning make them fall asleep until the next day or temporary. Sleep as in she'll have someone die in their sleep when time/fate calls for it. She usually tries to give her "victim" more time to be alive, but somedays she doesn't have a choice but to end their misery, so she puts them to sleep and soon to die in their sleep.

Nyx is a little complex to understand as she is not evil nor is she good.

The "evil" in Nyx:

Depending on the situation (or even her mood), she may try to manipulate one's weakness, meaning she'll try to screw around with someone's head. She'll do this if she considers you "interesting", though doesn't exactly mean any harm (unless you ask for it).

The "good" in Nyx:

She's usually considerate and believes people on the surface of Earth should be given another chance to live even if they're near death, however when fate calls for it, sometimes even she has no control over life or death. She also has a bit of a soft spot for children, and when she has to put them to "sleep", it actually breaks her a bit, though she tends to mask her sorrows.

Nyx' powers:

Can turn day to night (duh, because she's the Goddess of Night)

Can actually take away life, but she only does this if The Moirai (The Fates) demand it. She takes one's life away by putting them to sleep and soon to pass away while her "victim" sleeps.

Make flames and change the colors (her signature color is purple, so she usually makes her flames purple)

Shapeshifting into a mere shadow

Creating illusions/hallucinations (usually in dreams or nightmares when one is asleep, but she can do it outside of dreams or nightmares too)

Summoning gigantic shadowy hands towards her opponent

Nyx and Christophe:

The day Christophe died, Nyx was the one who found his corpse and took him to the Underworld and under her wing when no one in Heaven or Hell would (this was before Lucifer became a fallen angel in Hell btw), considering while the man died a hero and was suppose to go to Heaven for the most part for his heroic death, the man didn't believe in the Heavens. He believed he deserved to be in Hell however, but Satan found him even unworthy for hell (also believing Christophe shouldn't even be in Hell for his heroic death). So before Christophe's corpse had even started to rot and fade away, Nyx took him under her wing, also giving him part of her own powers in which Christophe is able to shapeshift into a mere shadow, also being able to shapeshift his own arm into a gigantic beast-like or shadow-like hand, plus being able to manipulate his own aura/energy and turn it into a weapon.

Nyx practically owns Christophe's soul since no one else would take it, although Hades tried to fight her for it since the two considered Christophe's soul a bit of a special one that they don't come across all too often anymore.

As a Goddess, Nyx who has seen through Christophe's soul, and openly shows her interest in him, also considering him a "favorite" though not romantically, despite making flirtarious remarks towards him and teasing him, she's aware of his weaknesses and what he desires.

What's happening to Palestine at the hands of Israeli authorities and Netanyahu is NOT an excuse to be antisemitic any sense of the way. What's happening in the Middle East, in the US, in Europe, etc is NOT the fault of the Jewish people and never has been, and never will be.

The Jewish people deserve to be welcome and safe in ANY place in the world. The Jewish people, just like the Palestinians, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, Mentally Ill, physically disabled, women and any minority in danger of hate, need to be protected.

The entire reason Isreal exists is because of antisemitism. Palestine is true and real, and deserves to be able to be upheld instead of mass genocided. However this doesn't erase history or the fact that it's a fucked situation all the way around. It's not actually that complicated.

Being anti-isreal isn't being anti-semetic, just as being pro-palestine isn't being pro-hamas. In American Horror Story, Murder House the characters Nora and Charles Montgomery have a child who was kidnapped because of Charles' work. The child, Thaddus, was returned to the couple in glass jars, dismembered. The farther mad was with grief attempted to 'fix' his child, in doing this he creates the first of many monstrous ghosts that haunt the home.

The things Charles created with his sons body parts creates a creature that is known as Infanta. Much like Frankenstein the Thaddus' body parts were used to create this evil unnatural creature. Charles had driven himself mad attempting to stitch his son back together, much to the horror of his wife who simply wished to bury her son and give him a funeral. The attempt to bring the child back is successful but the child is in no sense a normal kind child, having been given the 'beating heart' of a fetus Charles has removed from a patient. The reanimated Thaddus bit his own mother when she attempted to nurse him, a sure sign to her that her once son was now some demonic wrong being.

The weight of guilt was too much for Nora and she killed herself and her Husband.
