the way they both sidled up to each other. the way they kissed under the moonlight. the way they set and respected each other's boundaries. the hand holding, the thumb war, the gentle smile, the "you won." this is the queer representation i needed. queer people being unapologetically queer in all the gentle, sweet ways we know.
pulling out all the stops for the white couple on a show that is anything at all because of it’s black and brown leads. they’re actually so sickkkkk . a polin WORLD tour?! we were begging for ONE (1) simone ashley and jonathan bailey interview together and they said NO. LMFAO
ok I’m not a meta writer or an easter egg hunter but I’ve been waiting for someone else to talk about this structure that the good omens title leads to because it’s driving me bananas
when it first pans up, it looks closed off like there’s walls around the pillars
but the next time we see it we can see the four pillars and a domed roof
and i know it’s not a perfect match to the shape of the structure, but it’s pretty darn close to the bookshop layout
and the domed roof that we don’t really get to see in the show is very clear in concept art
and uh what could the bright white light in the middle of the structure that the figures are walking towards be?
anyway all this to say this concept image makes me really nervous
The “mundane modern solutions to arcane supernatural problems” trope gets me every time. God things are only going to get much worse now that the deer was captured. Hey herb gatherer, witness the consequences of your betrayal! That deer saved you twice already.
You better help me rescue them & the others or I swear I’m gonna…..!
Oh who am I kidding, I’m begging for your help.
I still can’t believe they poisoned the oasis. These are the biggest dark plants I’ve ever seen! The water has grown foul too.
Wait a minute, isn’t the water here connected to the town. There’s a tunnel at the lake’s bottom that leads directly into town. Isn’t this their water supply.
You know, sometimes a family is you, your wife who sees ghosts, an optimistic scout leader who got shot in the neck with an arrow at a camp, a poet from the 1700s (maybe) whose poetry sucks, a astonishingly cheerful and oblivious woman who likes everyone, a very gay and very repressed WW2 officer, a decapitated head and body who are separate entities, a woman burned for witchcraft, a caveman with a vague grasp on the English language, a disgraced politician who did not die fully clothed and the old rather judgemental and traditional ghost of your wife's distant relative
And some ghosts who died of the plague who live in the basememt
