I know there are a lot of Bridget fans that don’t play gg but there are a lot of us that do.

I main Bridget in both plus r and strive. I like hitting people with my yoyo and flying around the place.

But just because some fans don’t play gg doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy the series and its characters. Fighting games aren’t for everyone and thats ok.

We’re supposed to have fun as a community not gate keep like a bunch of 9 year old bullies on the playground.

#context:#after Bortom city recognized Beatrix as a threat and began persecuting her‚ she became widely known #A great reward would be given to those who captured the runaway android‚ and most people feared her.#To sum it up‚ she was alone in her journey and refusing to trust anyone so easily.#The persecutions got worse when more cities allied themselves with Bortom. This attracted robot hunters.#At some point‚ Beatrix met this golden-eyed‚ humanoid shadow that always seemed to watch her from afar #It wouldn't stop following her‚ until it was close enough to initiate a confrontation #Beatrix was basically FED UP with the persecutions and so she fought using her fists... while he had a gun.#The bullets couldn't cause great damage‚ and were actually microchips designed to stunt robotic enemies #Beatrix barely resisted the effects and managed to take down the other... who raised its hands in defeat.#Imagine the situation: She's literally got him on the ground‚ fist raised to deliver a powerful blow while he's SHAKING IN HIS BOOTS #Turns out the microchips take effect‚ and Beatrix attempts to escape before it's too late... But her systems go off abruptly #...Then she wakes up in this cozy workshop of sorts. She goes outside and BOOM!!!#A ship moved by machinery? Robots living peacefully? People walking past her without batting an eye? This must be a dream!#She's finally found Fusionsprunt (or was found but it). and as i was scrolling trying to find an energy bill he just looked over my phone went: OKAY GREAT and handed me my package with a quiet don’t tell my boss

the red camellia is undeniably soukoku's flower to me. they bloom in the cold, through snow and winter chill. they're at their most beautiful in the harshest conditions when everything else is dormant or dead. they're a symbol of perseverance and strength and passion. but at the end of the line, they 'behead' themselves when they die, refusing to drop petal by petal, choosing to go when they're still beautiful, refusing to compromise the rest of the tree by rotting on the branch.

#idk they just remind me of how chuuya willingly puts himself through hell for those he loves #corruption is breathtaking but its not sustainable ( obviously ) and #camellia trees open many buds in succession #because they die so quickly ultimately putting great strain on the tree for the sake of securing a successful blooming cycle #they're extremely susceptible to rot and root disease #the 'beheading'#symbolized a noble death to samurai and warriors #who would choose death over showing weakness and dishonor #camellia flowers drop from the rest of the tree #like they can't bear to die a slow death #and bring down the beauty of the flowers that surround them #like dazai #who puts himself in isolating #and dangerous scenarios #because even if he doesn't succeed ( he always does ) at least he'll go out of sight and out of mind #he faces enemies alone #even when he doesn't have to #argh #<- guy who is really normal about watching the camellia tree outside of their window bloom and die over the last few months #rare instance of niko yapping enjoy it

I'm surprised you haven't posted any Welcome home stuff recently! Honestly kinda makes me sad since I love your WH art and stuff

yea y'all are gonna have to be Patient w/ me bc

a) i have like. a week left to pack all of my stuff before i need to shove everything into a uhaul and leave, so its crunch time! leaving little to no energy/interest in anything else

b) to be honest my mental health is the worst its been in years - which is fine, its whatever, i can deal. it's not as bad as it could be and im handling it! like a champ, even! but also its leaving little to no energy/interest in anything else

c) had a minor crisis over my art and how i interact w/ WH, and i realized im not scribbling enough of what I want. ive mostly been trying to please people and do as asked and thats! not good! so i want to temper expectation & reassert that im Not a WH art blog - its just a hyperfixation / something i love rn. i draw what i enjoy & what i want in the moment.

#it just boggles the mind. you guys (in general; this is not about any mutual) have the option to vote for the lesser evil and you won't?#ugh.#I'm not saying Finnish people are perfect when it comes to this #there were definitely some shades of this sort of discourse surrounding the recent Finnish presidential election #which I don't think was super great #but when it comes to the US it's on a whole another level. and just watching it from the outside feels so confusing and upsetting #anyway! maybe we'll come to our senses as a species before we've driven ourselves to extinction but personally I'm not holding my breath #politics #personal.
