It was also a good time to do so because we're repainting my room and while there's usually a ton of anime merch in front of the books on my shelves, now it's all been packed up. Random Streamer Ash thoughts.

The entire Charmander situation was streamed. Hell, even the down time in the Pokémon Center because might as well do a chill stream. Or, at least that was the intention before everyone learned that not did Charmander's trainer abandon him, but doesn't even care that if Charmander is still following his orders, he could DIE due to the rain. Anyways the rescue happens and the only reason Ash didn't end his stream during it and the time waiting in the reception room is because he knew his chat would kill him if they didn't learn if Charmander was fine as soon as he did.

By the time Sinnoh is over and done with chat just wants Ash to take a vacation because seriously WTF WAS EVEN HAPPENING IN SINNOH THEY SAW IT THROUGH A STREAM AND THEIR STILL CONFUSED-

Also there's a new appreciation for the Darkrai species after the events of The Rise of Darkrai. Same with Giratina. Dialga, Palkia, Shaymin and Arceus are on thin ice though. Albeit Arceus is a lesser extent because of the near death trauma.

Oh yeah Damien ends up in some Real Deep Shit, specifically Real Deep Legal Shit because there is no way that wouldn't count as criminal negligence at best and his confession and the resulting consequences for Charmander were all broadcast live. Not stopping the stream was half Ash being too focused on Charmander to even notice it was still running, half the rest of the group making damn sure they had the Receipts on Damien.

Thankfully for everyone's sanity there does seem to be some kind of gap between Sinnoh and Unova in canon as far as I can tell, and even with Immediate Zekrom it's at least more chill by comparison.

...And Then Suddenly Kalos (:

Yeah, a lot of the typical Pariah Pokemon (particularly the more "evil" legendaries but also 'mons like Absol or Venipede) get seen in a new light thanks to Ash. And the legendaries that actively cause problems or are just assholes definitely end up on a few shitlists. Though some of the Sinnoh ones are a bit complicated in regards to actually showing up in the streams at all because he can't exactly get an internet connection in the distant past or a collapsing space-time distortion bubble, plus the fact that nobody in the repaired timeline where Arceus didn't Start Shit remembers the Arceus Starts Shit timeline. The wifi does somehow work in the Distortion World though.

Also in defense of Shaymin as a whole it's just that one Shaymin that's a prick. Every other Shaymin both in the series and in that specific movie are perfectly pleasant and actually fit their title as The Gratitude Pokemon from what I remember.

I got a question. Why is Shadow your favorite character?

That's something I haven't really thought about. Usually, when I declare a character my favorite, it's kinda like a gut feeling - I see X Character and I instantly know they'll be my favorite. Nevertheless, I'm sure you'll probably want a more in-depth explanation.

Shadow the Hedgehog definitely fits the character archetype I tend to gravitate to, which I tend to describe as Troubled, But Cute (put a pin on the ''cute'' part tho), Anti-Hero or Anti-Villain type of character with a tragic backstory, who has an intimidating or untrustworthy presence, or is just a jerk, but deep down, they are sweet and/or genuinely care about the other characters in their own way.

If you want more examples, here is a list of my favorite characters from other franchises:

Impmon/Beelzemon from Digimon Tamers, initially a mischievous Digimon who caused trouble for the main cast, his traumatic experience with his own Tamers and his desire to become stronger led him to a path of destruction, followed by one of the most incredible and heartbreaking redemption arcs I've seen.

Bass.EXE/Forte.EXE from Rockman.EXE/MegaMan Battle Network/MegaMan NT Warrior. Bass is a Solo NetNavi who had been created by Dr. Cossack to improve internet security, but was betrayed by the humans when the internet at the time, Alpha, went berserk, causing Bass to be mistakenly blamed for that chaos. Believing that humans are monsters, Bass has set the goal to become the strongest and destroy humanity once and for all. He is also MegaMan's strongest rival, and I especially love how their relationship is portrayed in Ryo Takamisaki's MegaMan NT Warrior manga, where they both show deep respect for each other and it is acknowledged that MegaMan is the first person Bass allowed himself to bond with. Huh, when you think about it, Bass and Shadow are kinda similar, especially when the latest chapter that focused on Bass had him finally make peace with his past.

Darkrai from Pokémon, specifically Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness and Sky. To quote the Pokedex: ''Folklore has it that on moonless nights, this Pokémon will make people see horrific nightmares.'' Darkrai is a Pokémon who is capable of causing horrible nightmares, but the truth is, he cannot control this ability and isolates himself on Newmoon Island. In Rise of Darkrai, he is portrayed as a misunderstood anti-hero who wanted to defend his home from Dialga and Palkia, and in PMD: Explorers, he is a maniacal tyrant who wants to plunge the world into eternal darkness, and these two different portrayals are one of the reasons why I adore Darkrai so much. And yeah, he definitely isn't the conventionally ''cute'' type, but I always had weird tastes.

Félix/Chat Noir from Ladybug PV, who I consider to be a different character from the CGI show. Having been cursed with bad luck, Félix needs to find ways to convince to Ladybug to kiss him while working together with her against the main villain and also dealing with Ladybug's civilian form, Bridgette. I'm certain that, if his character had been developed further, we would see a different side to him, show that there is more to Félix/Chat Noir than what is on the surface.

...so as anyone can probably tell, Giratina is one of our favorites LMAO

honestly over the years I've come to realize Cofagrigus just has the SHITTIEST luck of all the Wish Park minions. he's the only boss you fight with TWICE, he's the only one who gets directly yelled at by Darkrai (after the first fight against the Yamask minions), and to top it all off you actually outright see him try to crawl away from, then get sucked into the Dark Vortex at the end

at this point it feels like anytime bad shit's on the rise, he's just like:

For some reason I was under the impression that you fought all the bosses twice? Including their solo boss and their more gimmicky fights (unless I’m misremembering that too). I haven’t played the game in a really long time and I should really watch/play it again to touch up my knowledge since it’s been a MINUTE. I’ve really only skimmed dialogue to make sure I got some characterization right when drawing the guys.

I do remember him specifically getting chewed out by Darkrai though in the opening. If I remember correctly he sends the Gothitelle line to yell at the other guys. Which it makes sense bc it’s the beginning of the game and they’ve gotta solidify him as the antagonist especially when you don’t really see him that much face to face.

I also did find it very odd how they only showed him getting taken by the vortex lmao. Where was everybody else at. PPark devs are out to GET Cofagrigus.

Honestly would love to look into more character details when I have the time because we have so little but we’ve gotta work with the crumbs we’ve got.

Chandelure may be my favorite but Cofagrigus is a very close second. Justice for Cofragrigus 2011

I understand thinking ash sucks lol I always loved the movies growing up because of all the cool Pokemon in them (my favorite Pokemon movies were Pokemon the movie 3 specifically for Entei and Rise of Darkrai which to this day makes me cry)

I also have a small collection of cards that were gifted to me :D I like having the cards, and I carry three in my wallet for good luck (they're in little protective sleeves)

I have a few plushies, but I want way more than I have. My favorite plushie is a mimikyu that I lovingly named Franklin, but I have quite a few more including a Pikachu pillow pet that I did, in fact, use as my pillow for years

Also knowing who took them does definitely make it worse, technically speaking I know who took my movies too and I already know they got sold ; -; I hope you can at least replace the games you had at some point :) and it is definitely cool that you were able to save your platinum, living dexes are hard to collect

I know I’ll make some people mad when I say this. But I say a lot of things that make people belittle me. While I don’t have that many fond memories of the DP series, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl helped me be a part of a resurgence for it. (Alongside classic Pokémon in general.)

Some people consider Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl to be a mixed bag. To most fans, they’re the worst the franchise has to offer and are terrible downgrades to the remakes that were released in the past. To others (like me), they were a gateway to a better point in time.

I remember buying the Brilliant Diamond version early in the morning on the game’s release day before running home to play it. While the chibi models in the overworld threw a lot of people off, I actually enjoyed it for both the novelty and the way the game handles the player’s view of the world. It looks cutesy while you’re walking around. But once you enter a battle, the models and background become more detailed and make you feel like things are about to get serious.

Outside of the presentation, I enjoyed the many features that got taken out of newer Pokémon games, starting with the XY series. Giving my rival a name made the journey feel more personalized, and I especially loved the return of customizable text boxes and Pokémon box designs that look like they had actual effort and thought put into them. I loved exploring the Grand Underground and digging for rare items and fossils. I also loved the use of groups. But I was disappointed to discover that they're practically useless unless you play with someone in person.

The way contests were handled made them easy to understand and more fun than contests in previous games. As someone who excels in certain rhythm games, contests became second nature after understanding the importance of move usage and a Pokémon's visual presentation.

There's a lot of features and mechanics in the Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl versions that become deep once you look into them. For one, perfect Poffins require a specific set of berries with flavors that don't harshly lower the value of another. The method to unlock Rotom's forms also requires a special item that needs to be used in an unexpected location. There's also tons of stat-boosting Pokémon that you can fight after you complete certain events in the game, a sticker that boosts your Pokémon's visual score in Brilliant contests by beating Cynthia's strongest team, alongside other things.

On the day the games were released, Teletoon aired a marathon of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl episodes that ended with a showing of The Rise of Darkrai. As someone less than impressed by a certain other take on the Pokémon anime, this marathon was not only a reliever but an enhancement to my Brilliant Diamond experience.

Even though most people thrash on Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Brilliant Diamond was my proper introduction to the DP series, and it helped me become a better Trainer. It's thanks to this game that I was able to gain a better understanding of Pokémon battles and enjoy the rich and colorful world Sinnoh has to offer.

From everything I shared here, I'd say that Pokémon Brilliant Diamond gave me my favorite Sinnoh memory. And I have that memory to thank for the way I am now.

I made a post a few days ago about making some fixes to the Rise of Darkrai by just removing Mr. Nightmare Guy's ability to speak, and I've been thinking about other changes I would make to it, which I ended up compiling here in a timeline.

I would really love to either find a good fanfic rewrite of that movie or to make one myself, even if that would be effort.

Warning: it's kinda long.

General changes:

• Take away Darkrai's ability to speak at all. It makes 100% of all misunderstandings in this make sense and doesn't make him seem just dumb.

• In general, have Alice be both admirative of Alberto throughout while sympathetic to Tonio, some type of overworked town serviceman whose ingenuity the Baron leeches off of.

• If you want to have the plot be more of an intrigued, you'd probably need to redo the Palkia and Dialga fight scene at the start, either by removing it and doing the exposition in the Arceus movie (with the mystery around why they were fighting being clearly pointed out by the characters by the end of this one) or by having the relation between both events be murky at the start, which would be harder to accomplish.

• Ideally, Ash and Co. should just totally be removed from the plot. This is a secret technique that makes 90% of all Pokemon movies better. But it would require too many changes here.

As for a partial timeline:

• Have the contest going on later be an actual issue for the plot, establish Baron Alberto as a character earlier by maybe having him greet future contestants. In general, I'd want him to actually be shown to care about the image of *his* town around the world.

• Have Alice be a tour guide or something here, explaining the town's history, says that she had a grandma who lived here before her mother moved out and now she came back (admittedly you could probably do more with her lore here, but I don't have any ideas atm).

• While she explains the Towers, I'm going to be bold and have the Time Space Towers be renamed to something else and remove the prophetic dream that lead to them. Godey just wanted a musical tower to play Oracion, which is said to have soothing and healing properties, something along those lines.

• They go to the gardens, spend the time with their pokemon and leave once they see the deformed structures. Alberto comes and drops the Darkrai exposition, but tells them not to fear, as he is there to protect them and they'll find a solution. Alice mentions the townsfolk experiencing chronic nightmares for a few days. A vital point is that they now believe that Darkrai only arrived recently to torment them with nightmares.

• Here, have Alice actually feel safe because of Alberto and, somehow, make this romantic triangle actually seem worthwhile and not be resolved within the first two seconds of the characters meeting.

• Nightmare Sequence: They go to sleep and get nightmares about Palkia's oncoming attack.

• Alberto promises a solution, a part of which is just delegating to Tonio.

• They run to the gardens, accidentally enter an uncharted section devoid of other Pokemon, where Darkrai attacks them and chases after the human trio. Alberto and Gallade come to their defense and are just as successful as expected, with Gallade being put to sleep. Darkrai leaves and the Baron gloats about having scared it off to Alice, who believes him for the most part, but would rather go and heal Gallade.

• Nightmare Sequence: Gallade is woken up at the Pokemon center and gives them images of his nightmare with psychic powers. Broken up scenes of the garden getting destroyed and the Pokemon there getting eaten up by darkness. Everyone interprets this as a threat.

• After this, a bunch of trainers there specifically for the event start to leave, but Ash and Co. stay, wanting to protect the place and go through with the contest.

• While the contest does happen Dawn almost wins quite handedly because everyone else is half asleep now. They get pissed at Mr. Nightmare Guy for ruining the occasion.

• On command, Darkrai crashes the contest and tries to put specifically Ash, Brock and Dawn to sleep. After a short fight between Darkrai, Pikachu and a few others, the first is repulsed but Ash gets nightmare'd.

• Meanwhile, trying to find a solution since the morning, Tonio has been looking through the library and eventually finds Godey's diary. Because, if the tower legitimately can soothe the soul or whatever, then it should be able to solve Darkrai's hostility or at least stop the nightmares, right?

• Reading the journal, Tonio discovers that the former got the idea of Oracion soothing the soul when it healed Pokemon from Darkrai's nightmares. The apparent discrepancy here being that Tonio only knew that Darkrai had arrived in the garden recently, which is seemingly not the case.

• While he reads on the journal and about how Alicia actually met Darkrai, have more extended flashbacks, with Mr. Nightmare Guy (TM) and Small Blonde Child (TM) interacting more (this is perhaps, no, this is definitely the most necessary change). He runs back once he reads these.

• Nightmare Sequence: Here, Pikachu gets swallowed up by the ground, as does everyone around Ash, who interprets it as a threat as well.

• Ash wakes up at the Pokemon center and is livid.

• Trainers who tried to leave before the contest come back to say that they can't leave the town. Scene at the bridge happens and the Baron forms a mob.

• Ash is ready to join but they all get picked up by Tonio, who starts infodumping everything he's learned to the main cast minus Alberto.

• Darkrai had lived isolated in his corner of the garden this whole time, undetected.

• Ash deduces that the reason Darkrai was specifically targeting them was because they, unlike the Alamosites he had been tormenting before, were perhaps willing to listen and understand.

• They start to think that it was sending warnings to them and agree that they need to try and hear Darkrai out somehow before attacking it.

• While the mob is returning through the now warped and mangled town, the sky gets ripped apart and the place gets shrouded in darkness. They see Darkrai and do their best to fight it, not doing much in the process. He almost gets hit once but Ash and Co. come to stop the attack. Darkrai disappears off into the sky and Alberto gets all pissy about this, Alice getting pissed off at him in turn for not wanting to take precautions while trying to protect the town.

• Alberto wants to go after Darkrai, but gets transformed into a Lickilicky and then scared by the dream ghosts of all of the Pokemon put to sleep.

• They get all of these pokemon to the center, where Tonio is and he tries to explain what's happening. Notices that all of the dream ghosts are trying to get their attention to something (this is about as useful as I could make those, really).

• One of the ghosts, probably a Pokemon of the bunch, maybe Alice's Chimchar, leads them to this place and the center of the town. They see Darkrai circling there and he attacks them. They try and explain that they understand he isn't evil but he won't stop trying to drive them away. Baron Alberto says that he knew that they were mistaken and tries to attack, with little success once more, before Darkrai is driven into the ground by a Spacial Rend from an emerging Palkia.

• They try and fight it off to protect the injured Darkrai, but can't do much against Palkia, leading to Darkrai then saving them by blasting the Pink God Lizard (?) away.

From here on, my ideas for what happens next get really fuzzy, but things that probably should happen are:

• Tonio saves Alice and cements that couple. There was no memory of him saving her from falling off a cliff here.

• Darkrai saves Alberto specifically, with the latter not knowing how to feel about that. Maybe at least telling him to go and protect *his* town.

• An idea not my own (from the Conqueror AU by Witchysolfan on here, who has a lot of great ideas for a Lovecraftian Alamos) but way too good to ignore: to mirror the dream ghosts from the melding of dimensions, have time ghosts that start to appear as heralds of Dialga's arrival, one of which is Alicia, a distraction Alice needs to avert Darkrai from. Play the sentimental and necessary flashbacks of both of them playing in the garden.

• Darkrai does his thing where he forms the bubble of darkness to hold them both off while the cast climbs the tower, but when he gets struck by both of their attacks at once, he just tumbles to the ground but doesn't die. Instead, Alice comes over to help him, while Alamosites give their excuses and maybe heal him up with some moves.

• Here, Ash saves the day, Oracion stopping the fighting and alleviating Darkrai's pain, as well as the fear of the Alamosites. The light bird thing can be removed.

• The following day, the contest gets a rerun with viable contestants (and Darkrai making a timid appearance? Maybe not, he should probably continue to be secretive)

• Someone points out the mystery surrounding why Dialga and Palkia were fighting, as stated above.

Been going down memory lane lately. Trying to find more good soundtracks from my childhood to listen to again now that I'm much older. I remembered I had this specific pokemon movie I really liked when I was like 9 or 10, so I decided to go look for the soundtrack online and ah, my poor little heart can never get a break.

Pokemon doesn't get enough credit for its movie's soundtracks. The Rise of Darkrai has some of the most memorable songs ever, most of them being able to remain in the back of my head since 2013

another headcanon

this feels like a fanfiction but anyway,

leon and raihan is a pretty healthy couple.when theyre in the middle of an argument,if one raise their voice just a bit,the other backs off and suggest to take a few hours,even days to cool down, and then talk about it when theyre calm and is able to think straight to avoid unwanted events.

and currently theyre in the middle of an argument,theres a rising problem in the league,and them being the top trainers with equally great intelligence,  theyre expected to solve it

theyve been arguing because when theyre discussing about how to solve it,theres a ...quite serious disagreement , which led into a debating session,so they decide to have time to think about it by themselves instead of discussing about it,just for a day or two.

but theres another problem rising,which came from a different source, a pokemon breeding centre,theres some issue with dragon type pokemon,leon expect raihan to be the only person whos expected to help,but because leon has 2 on his team,he was asked to help raihan. sadly he cant decline the request. 

theyre in the middle of their “argument” but that doesnt matter of course,since both got an email to help the breeder to solve the pokemon breeding issue,they push their personal problems aside and try to discuss about it,which sadly led into another debating session. both decide to stop and sit down

raihan lets out a sigh “3 days?”

“..sure i guess” leon answer hesitantly,both actually cool off easily and they certainly dont need 3 days to just cool down and think. 3 days without raihan is too long afterall,but leon assume that maybe,he had pushed the wrong buttons and just agree to avoid another conflict,which wont happen.he knows raihan, but he rather not

raihan tilts his head “you look hesitant, 2 days maybe? ive already set up papers to solve the other problem we had,so i guess 2 days is enough,how about you?”

leon looks up to raihan, “i already figure out yesterdays solution too, so... 2 days? then we discuss about the league issue,then suggesting it to the staff?”

raihan nodded “yes,then we discuss about this and gave the result to the pokemon breeding centre”

leon agrees, finally,an agreement.

the next day comes, leon suddenly has an appointment out of nowhere,oleana certainly didnt tell him about this,and now,leon is sorrounded by hellspawns.

hes in the local kindergarten,which is not bad, but this kindergarten hits different,leon has lost count of kids whos trying to stole his cap and pull his cape off. heck,even one kid almost peed on him. 

once hes free from hell,he really wants to reunite with raihan,but theyre on their...relationship break? he doesnt even know what its called because its really rare for them to argue.

but because leon is on the edge of bursting out,he decide to just,take a quick shower to make himself look presentable,and flew to hammerlocke

he arrives at the gym, walking through the hall,being guided by one of the gym trainer,to raihans office. his eyes is already glassy with tears.

he entered raihans office, raihan is there, sitting on the couch with paperworks,he move his head to meet leon,eyes wide when he see a familiar purple hair

“leon? do you want to discuss it now? ive cooled down and i al-”

leon lets out a mewl,a sad one. which surprises raihan. raihan stared at him,brows furrowing,he noticed leons golden eyes were glistening “wait-” he got up,walks his way to leon “dandelion,darling” oh how leon has been craving to be called that, “whats wrong? did i do something-”

“i had a surprise appointment today” leon croak out “i- oleana didnt told me about it-” did he just sob? “i wasnt prepared and we went to a fucking place filled with tiny demonic creatures” he leans in to raihans comforting touch “worst than giratina and darkrai, id prefer to hang out with them rather than those- those kids” leons sobs got more violent “they- they were trying to stole my champion hat and tried to pull of my cape,which almost choked me,dragon” 

raihan concerns starts to grow faster when leon called him dragon,since leon only use that particular nickname when he feels unsafe or when hes super stressed out. 

“i- i almost cried in place, i was tired for- figuring out the solutions and we had 2 debate in a span of one week, we, we rarely argue dragon,” leons grip on raihans arm got tighter,”those kids” raihan can see pure fear in leons eyes “hit the spot,one- one of them almost peed on me raihan,im glad one of the teacher grab them fast enough,i wouldnt know what id do if that actually happened”

raihan hold leon tight,then make him to sit down on the couch, leon didnt let go of raihan when raihan wanted to take a cup of water, he asked raihan to stay and hold him more, raihan cant blame him,that kindergarten IS basically hell and he doesnt understand how the teacher can withstand those tiny demons, this week has been hectic too,he cant blame leon really,he felt bad about initiating one of the debates but,i guess that doesnt matter anymore when theyve found the solutions.

leon is now on his lap,hugging raihan by the shoulder sobbing quietly. all raihan can do is hugging leon back,making sure he feels safe. 

after the sobbing had died down,raihan asks leon

“lee?baby?” raihan calls out, leon lets out a mumble, “let me handle the pokemon breeding issue yeah? its about dragon type afterall,i can do it myself,im just gonna take your typed out suggestions and take care of it by my own,about the league issue,lets just combine our solution and come with a neutral conclusion, is that okay darling? or do you want to discuss about it tomorrow? we can stay in my place if you want”

leon slowly repositioned his body to face raihan,he nodded “yeah, okay,ill let you take care of the breeding centre,but dont overwork yourself raihan, about the league,lets just combine our solutions,it does feels irresponsible though,they expect us-”

“leon,my dearest,lets think about YOU for awhile,the league aint shit,my love,how do you feel about it?” raihan cuts off

“...i..personally,i dont want too..” leon looks down, he wants to give the best for the league,but raihan is right,he needs to prioritize himself just for tonight,so he can give the best to the region tomorrow morning

“there you go,now- let me just-” raihan proceed to carry leon, as if hes a baby,leon just dont give a single fuck at this point,he just want to sleep like a rock for 8 hours,he leaned and put his head near raihans neck,looping his arm around raihans shoulder tighter,hes grateful raihan is big and strong enough to carry a 80kg bulky man like he is

“dragon,love” leon mumbled right next to raihans ear, “im..sorry i initiated the breeding center debate,i .. i shouldnt even argue with you,you knew so much more”, raihan kissed leons head, “no worries baby,i dont mind,you are a bit...selfish sometimes,but its okay,its not like im far from that either,since im the one who started to argue about the league issue,despite me not knowing much about it,im sorry about that too”

leon answered “so we good?”

raihan smiled, “always been”

leon hugged raihan tighter and closed his eyes,trusting his dragon that he will take care of him,when leon opened his eyes,hes already in a familiar place,raihans apartment,to be more specific,hes on the bed,wearing one of raihans t-shirt and...his own pajama pants? raihan is currently putting socks on his left feet,raihan noticed that his prince has woke up, “go back to sleep,ill keep you safe,i wont let rose or oleana to put their hands on you” leon looked at him “but how about you?im not gonna have a day off tomorrow if youre not sitting next to me,whats the point of a single day off if 1 of my favorite person isnt there next to me?”

raihans got surprised “wait how did you know i told them to give you a day off?” leon smiled “instinct”

raihan chuckled while crawling to the bed,setting himself next to leon, “i didnt enter hell today so i dont need one” he teased, leon hugs raihan by the waist,giving it a firm grip “raihan my precious dragon, love,sweetheart,im begging you to stay, please,im not fully sane yet,i need you to keep me on the ground,and dont commit a genocide,raihan pleaaase,do your work at home-” raihan cuts him off “no! you’d help me with it! you need to rest,prince!” raihan answered with a laugh, leon tighten his grip “but i need you! how can you leave me alone and insane like this! how dare you!” leon said,mimicking his voice to sound like a dramatic damsel in distrest

raihan obeys,of course he will,hes actually on the edge too,the breeders are plain out stupid and its no wonder that the dragon type mons had an issue,they shouldve put the baby on HIS breeding center instead,he knows well about it anyway,who the heck brought the baby dragons there?! not to mention how they act like they know more than raihan,the dragon tamer,the only certified dragon type specialist in the whole region. raihan was so fed up,the paperwork from the gym arent helping either,he got 3 helping hands and it overwhelms them all,he guess he should give the whole gym trainer just a single day break to sleep the whole day and get themselves charge. and so he did,he typed out a short email to all the gym trainers,that they will have a day off tomorrow,

leon smiled in satisfaction as raihan typed out the email on his phone,he knew raihan was close to murder someone too,,but knowing raihan,he wont take a day off if leon told him too. but raihan WILL do it,if leon beg raihan to stay with him,hes concerned about it and might talk about it, that he should prioritize himself and not his lover,but not definitely not now,nor later.someday probably.

after raihan sent the emails,he turned off the bedside lamp, and proceed he put his head on leons plump chest, “alright,nighty night prince,i love you”

leon put his hand on top of raihans head,petting it gently“night dragon,i love you too”

then they sleep.

Been thinking a lot about DB, DBZ and DBSuper since Toriyama's passing and this song was everything to me as a kid. Combined with a lot of recent retrospective analysis on the franchise and what it means to me, I had an itch to play it this morning.

Green! Specifically default green, forest green and pale green. I have a strong affinity for nature and sometimes I yearn to fall asleep in the woods, it's calming. After that, I like purple (bonus points for royal purple) and light blues.

Last Movie: Pokemon: The First Movie

I was SUPPOSED to be watching through one Pokemon movie each Sunday with a friend group but it stopped after the first one bc people got busy with meeting each other and various other things. I guess? I'm not really obsessing over anything right now but I feel I haven't had my fill of this game yet so I still wanna play it, just sucks that pretty much everyone else has had their fill. They're from the Sinnoh region! specifically they're from alamos town aka the setting for the rise of darkrai movie bc fuck it, that was my fav pokemon movie as a kid and i think it's a really cool place fdghj

The reason they're a researcher (and a ghost type researcher at that) also comes from me just picking what I personally think is cool lmao. Ghost type is probably my favorite type if I had to pick. And the way I figure given that ghosts in the pokemon world are a fairly common and well-known phenomenon, enough so to warrant their own taxonomical category, someone has to have had the thought to figure out what the fuck is even going on with those guys. Where do they come from? How do they exist? What even are they, really? etc etc etc.

Orfeo themself has always had an affinity for the more metaphysical types of pokemon (they primarily own ghost and psychic types). So when their original field of study as a folklorist led them to investigate a possible connection between the Lost Tower and Hallowed Tower, they realized it was not just the history of these places that interested them but also the histories of the ghostly pokemon that lived there!

As for the casual outfit question... they absolutely own at least one pair of crocs, I can tell you that much.

 small pokemon thought I had: If the creation trio have their own systems of worship (which they likely do given how they’re depicted) would Giratina possibly be worshiped as a god of balance? This is more a thought originating from info given to us by the anime/movies, because as far as I know in the games Giratina is portrayed as a violent being and banished because of that (at least if the Pokedex is to be believed). But in the anime, specifically Giratina and the Sky Warrior (spoilers), Giratina is portrayed as the master of the Distortion World to such an extent that it’s able to revert the damage done to it by the main antagonist of the movie. This is important because the Distortion world is both a reflection of the “real” world and connected to it in such a way that damage done to one affects the other. Like in Arceus and the Jewel of Life, when it was shown that Palkia and Dialga’s clash in Alamos Town in Rise of Darkrai caused poison clouds to manifest in the Distortion realm as a consequence. The Distortion world exists to balance the “real” world and vice verse, and with Giratina as its master, would it make sense that Giratina would be seen as a sort of keeper of balance as opposed to purely a violent Pokemon that had to be sealed away? @criticaaaaaaaal
