The Father The Son and The Exile - (Mature) by @sushiburritonoms An alternative ending to Mando S2 that spawns new delicious depths of character development. I enjoyed the Socorro adventure in Ch 18 so there's a little scene dedicated to that!

No Glory in the West - (Teen and Up) by @leorizanzel AU set in Texas, 1870! Loving the worldbuilding and I'm always a sucker for cross-country-journey-type stories. Yeehaw!

The idea of the darksaber being in love with Luke is great, but even better?

The darksaber fully preferring Luke to Din and throwing a tantrum about not being wielded by him.

Darksaber: If you do not wish to rule, give me to the one with the blood of queens and conquerors in his veins. Together we shall set fire to the galaxy. All shall-

Din, using it to chop wood: He already has a saber, are you done?

Darksaber: That kyber is young and weak and does not deserve him. GIVE ME TO HIM.

Din, using it to sear meat: No way. Keep crying.

It glowed and swayed, playing around their feet and heading up high into the air. Under the sun everything glistened and Din found he was almost entranced by it all. Luke reaches out, half-asleep in the quiet of the night, to wrap his fingers around Din’s arm, to let his warmth ground him in space.

This is what happens when you try to stop hyperfixating for several days to do your goddamn art assignment and your hellbrain says, “I have an idea.”

Sure did take me 2 days and 2 near emotional meltdowns to learn how to use CSP’s animation tools and make this work.
