Paulkins brainrot

SO we know Emma's susceptible to picking up Paul's habits ("Okay... Okay... Okay..." in BF), SO I PROPOSE

Paul would never cross the road without looking both ways (which we know from Hey Melissa). Based on Emma's *lacking* survival instincts, that bitch would never even look one way.

UNTIL SHE STARTS DATING PAUL MATTHEWS. Then, over time, the development below proceeds:

Stage 1: Emma walks straight into the road while Paul stops at every zebra crossing.

Stage 2: Emma stops next to Paul while he looks both ways.

Stage 3: Emma looks both ways WITH Paul.

Stage 4: Emma looks both ways at every zebra crossing she crosses on her own; not because of safety, but because she's become so used to doing it with Paul.

darry’s extending an olive branch here. he’s tryin to get back to where they were/tryin to get on pony’s level by engaging in something that pony enjoys. and clearly he understands the gravity of it but at the same time i don’t think he does.

because in every version i’ve heard, the way pony says “really?” it’s shell shocked. like he can’t believe darry is actually showing interest in his stuff. which isn’t to say that darry’s never shown interest, but from what we know, while pony and darry are foils (? i think that’s the right word correct me if i’m wrong) they have different interests

where pony likes to imagine things different and imagine what if and could haves, darry s straight forward hard facts kind of guy. so i’m pony’s eyes it’s really surprising that darry is interested in this story of pony’s.

at this point in the story, yeah pony already realized darry’s been working his ass off and cares alot more about pony than he’s previously thought, “really?” conveys a lot more than just “you really want to read it?”

it’s saying “you really want to? you really do care about me and still love me? even after everything? even after i messed things up so badly?”

but idk man i’m just yapping this could be a stretch

Was forced to watch a truly incredible (derogatory) thing recently.

A young person on twitter, adamant that transandrophobia doesn't exist on the grounds that 'no one is killing/raping/assaulting trans men'.

Several people responded, including some linking articles about murders and assaults on trans men and a couple op-ed style pieces of trans men talking about their own experiences.

Said young person responded with "I'm not reading those its triggering and I'm a minor"

So let me see if I've got this correct, you are knowingly refuse to acknowledge reality because it's upsetting to you and then you're going to turn around and deny that very reality because you refuse to acknowledge it because it's upsetting?
