A teardrop of the moon, fallen to earth with borrowed light, harried by over-curious sparrows, rescued by a heavenly bird. With a new form woven from moonbeams, Odette frolics through the forest as a breeze, leaving frost in her wake. Prone to mischief she spends her time rustling leaves, playing music, and following travelers; nipping at their noses with her chill and guiding the lost ones back to the path.

Catching sight of her through the forest is said to bring good luck. Hearing her laugh warns of trouble ahead.

Concealed within a cloak of moths, she is most easily spotted during the transitional seasons; autumn and spring. She represents play, rest, and the new growth that follows.

Recent images I suppose ~

#First one is THE LONG series of GEESE that fly by!!! my aforementioned friends... Or I think I referenced them in tags of some post #days ago. and how I love watching them. See how many there are? And multiple of these will go by. It's like hundreds of them.#Then just the sky because I love the sky. My hair looking ridiculous as it always does when I brush it out of the four big braids I always #keep it in to keep it out of the way lol. I just find it silly how small it can be all braided up and then as soon as it is Released and #combed then it poofs into some sort of swamp dwelling wizard style.#Then... a daily word count... have been so busy the past week that I sadly haven't written much but I'm WORKING on it. Still on the blasted #'odd jobs' tasks sections which were SUPPOSED to be very quick and short. but.. alas.. Though I am on basically the last one. You go work #for one of the enchanting specialists in the city (very important in society since a majority of people cannot do that type of magic) and #basically he just works so much he has no time for a social life so he hires random people to sit with him in the afternoons doing menial #tasks. You show up thinking you'll help with some Important Job or something but hes just like 'no... peel this apple for me.. :)' lol #Edit note: arrgh just had to fish a slippery avocado pit out of a narrow garbage disposal drain with a chopstick. felt like some #sort of taskmaster challenge or something.. gods... I know some people just reach into them. I guess maybe #my hand would fit?? but... erm... scary. what about Sharp Things in there or something.. also Sludge of some sort perhaps.#ANWYAY.. interruption... I got up to go to the kitchen in the middle of typing my tags... lol..#Next image is SLEEPING boye.. And then PIGEONS!!!!!!!!!! my beloveds...#Oh then the giant evil hole in my bathroom ceiling which is STILL not fixed and the repair people still have to come back again.. BUT they #did have this terrible industrial dehumidifier thing they put in the bathroom and just left here for like 5 days and it was like a noisy #hairdryer going at all times and raised the heat in the bathroom from 65F to 76F in like two hours so.. I'm glad at least at their #last arrival they've finally taken it away.... the Noise Beast... silence in my house at last...#though I am still plagued by Mysterious Hole.. the plastic wrap rustles sometimes when I'm in there.... go away...#Ah. Then a delightful little lemon poppyseed muffin someone didn't want and then gave to me. Which was interesting since I haven't #had one in soooo long even though its like a very Classic Flavor.. I do quite like them though now that I've had one again. :0c #Lastly.. mushrooms. I think it's the mushroom season here. Everywhere you go outside there's some new manner of fungus #having popped up from nowhere. I like the variety of all their little shapes. These in particular have an interesting wispy curled layers #sort of look to them. Almost like a shaggy hairstyle that's curled up at the ends or something. They seem neat to draw perhaps.#Okay.. that is all.. I still have literally like 2 costumes and 12 outfits and I think 1 sculpture? to post.. but I am so busy this is #what I can manage for now I suppose lol... quick pictures that don't really take any sorting or cropping or editing lol #photo diary

It was a shot of Fukuzawa's tired face and then suddenly we're hit with an apocalyptic Yokohama, a samurai looking bastard floating in the sky, Akutagawa in his new drop-dead gorgeous outfit (NO MORE DAZAI COAT AHHHH), Atsushi getting fisheyed, and the usual skk fighting sequence of one coming after the other in the last minute.

What the fuck kind of ending was that? Genuine question, everything felt like a fever dream 🤣

doing the math and i'm pretty sure chilchuck is getting his bow back next week, and we might finally get to meet the canaries (the elves), if not next week then definitely the week after!

#sorry - the post above is so short compared the the hour long rabbit hole i just went into trying to figure out #if we'd get mithrun's reveal before the end of this season lmao #and i dont think we will!#unless they really rework a bunch of timing!#my guess right now is - ep19 will be the hag/nightmare/ice golem/barometz (getting to know izutsumi etc)#maybe ending with marcille's nightmare or something but #ep20 will be the surface interlude from egg as well as the golden country stuff #21 will be senshi backstory o'clock #22 will be all the mushroom ring fallout from one of my favorite monsters you-know-what #and that ends with them having that heart to heart on the trolley deciding how they're going to save falin again #which is frankly a really good ending for the season! I can see them ending it here if the timing works out #THAT or the flashback conversation Laios has right after the succubus chapters #I can see them fitting the bicorn/horseman/succubus into episode 23/24 #the problem there is. mithrun's reveal happens in the two chapters right after laios has his big conversation #and i would LOVE to end on mithrun's reveal but thats really pushing it for 24 episodes #maybe we'll get more than 24 episodes??#but assuming 24...#they might push all the kabru and mithrun scenes to another cour and wrap it up with the big important conversation/vision laios has #wont know until we see what they do!!

I made this creepy enchanted forest area on the back of my ac island and it gradually got dark as I made it. When I walked back through to vibe check it, I was genuinely creeped out. I guess I got what I wanted.

#Its a completely different aesthetic from the rest of my island #not even the same vibe or colour pallette #I think that's what makes it so effective #I'm really happy with it #but its sort of basic right now?#I'd like to have a path going through it later #and have more creative diys and mushrooms #but I wont get mushrooms until mushroom season which I think is November #anyway I'm rambling now #but I'm happy I finally have something unsettling on my island #sunny speaks

Oh, yeah that one will do. I will NOT however be using eckrich sausage because they're awful ant taste like they're made of old mustard, fake smoke, and sadness.

#adventures in recipes #i have a nice aldi brand smoked sausage in the freezer #and a bag of potatoes #and frozen green beans #apparently you can make some interesting one pot things with those ingredients #all the recipes seem pretty basic #pot-onion-butter-garlic-water-salt-pepper #sausage-potatoes-green beans- and simmer for a while til potatoes are done #i'll freestyle the seasoning tho i think #i have some ras al hanout that needs to be used #wish i had some mushrooms

Ted Lasso Wednesday Thoughts!!! Rebecca's Dutch pal seems....he seems like a fella who could possibly be called Rupert...not that he seems like Rupert, just seems like A Rupert. And he would be a swell New Rupert lmao

Jamie taught his grandad to ride a bike, to honor Jamie's grandad's grandad. pardon me while I'm sobbing.

"You fellas say pillow fight one time and we're never watching a movie again" or whatever Ted said

Arguably my single most important thought ever? Ted got reverse-Princess-Bride-d. (To "get Princecess-bride-d" one would be served 1 of 2 glasses, both of which have Substance. a reverse-Princess-Bride situation is that you think both glasses have Substance, but neither does.) And neither of them referenced the Princess Bride??? The Beard serving glasses of tea with Something in it scene was so Dread Pirate Roberts and that's such a Ted/Beard movie!!! I'm hurt and shocked and offended not to have had them mention it.

#i say Substance b/c i'm not 100% sure if it's supposed to be weed or mushrooms or something else that idk about #(i'm much more a ted than a beard if you catch my drift)#in regards to the dutch fella's name i just simply think it would be funny!! i do love beard's tendency to learn. like. he truly loves taking in new information, and he loves teaching himself new things. a walking encyclopedia. if he doesn't understand something? he researches it. he takes the time to look it up, read about it, etc. beard's knowledge of things is very vast, and it's anyone's guess as to what beard might know. whether it's about fungi, the history of baseball, biology of trees, the dutch language, several pop culture related things, etc . . . it's a good guess that beard'll know something.

#like i always think that when exposed to new information beard tries to learn as much as he can about it.#also after he met mary + she fixed his ripped pants i know he bought a few books on sewing.#and taught himself how to sew.#he learned about fungi / mushrooms after accidentally consuming shrooms before a match...#drug ment tw #PLEASE he just.....loves learning.#AND CONTRARY TO SEASON THREE- if beard is corrected he' wouldn't be dismissive or upset about it.#he's wrong from time to time! he's human! and he's intelligent enough to know to concede when he's wrong #to quote ted : coach you are a Sponge!#he LOVES LEARNING!!!!! he loves being curious!#this man is fluent in dutch . french. asl. knows some italian. read 30 books in 3 days .
