the fucking vilification of people with npd is actually insane to me like. you realize that personality disorders stem from childhood trauma, yes? all of them, not just the ones you don't find scary or evil. it is sickening to imply that somebody is doomed to a life of manipulation and falseness because of the way their early experiences shaped their brain. why, out of everyone else with trauma, are these people not deserving of sympathy? because you had a horrible ex? a terrible parent? grow up
